Just decided for definite that the diary is going to change, after Lockdown I'm going to turn it into a recap of a months iMPACT! and then write the PPV. I prefer it this way and I'm giving it a go until at least some of the major changes come into effect.

  • Eric and Hulk hype Immortal, Anderson and Sting interrupt at different points demanding to know what the match at Lockdown will be.

  • In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Kazarian defeated Max Buck in 6:12 by pinfall with a
    Fade 2 Black
    .

  • After the match as with previous weeks the lights went out and a messege came on the screen. It said:

    “3 days... Lockdown!

    OWW”

The lights came back on but unlike previous weeks Kazarian was still standing he looked around but no one could be seen, but again his belt was on the ramp.

  • Dinero warns Joe to watch out

  • In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Shane Helms defeated Shannon Moore in 8:28 by pinfall with a
    Shining Wizard.

  • They continued the brawl after the bell and had to be split up by road agents and security

  • D'Angelo Dinero attacks Samoa Joe backstage, and leaves him down and out.

  • In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Sarita drew with Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne in 10:00 when the time limit expired.

  • Mickie James comes out and says she take them all on at Lockdown!

  • Anderson is told by Bischoff he'll be facing Bully Ray!

  • In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Mr. Anderson defeated Bully Ray in 8:32 by pinfall with a
    Mic Drop
    .

  • Bashir warns Angle that he will regret his actions!

  • In a match that had excellent in-ring action and a good crowd, Kurt Angle defeated Matt Hardy in 9:10 by submission with an
    Ankle Lock
. Jeff tried to attack Kurt but Rob Van Dam intervenes.

  • Rob Van Dam and Jeff Hardy brawled into the back

  • When we came back Kurt Angle was still in the ring and we are told he was attacked post match by Matt Hardy, he is getting back up when Bashir's warning came true when he was met by...

    http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t112/thetramp_photos/TNA/MarcCopani.jpg

... Mark Copani! He hit Angle with a
    Dominator
and then put him in a
    Camel Clutch
until Angle was unconscious before leaving to a huge amount of boos.

  • We then cut to the back where Bashir cuts a promo with Copani telling Kurt Angle to meet them next week at iMPACT!

  • In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, AJ Styles defeated Jeff Jarrett in 9:54 by pinfall with a
    Styles Clash.

  • AJ Styles is in the ring. Out of nowhere, Abyss hits the ring and attacks. The assault is quick and brutal, and leaves Styles completely destroyed. Is he the 4th member of Team Immortal at Lockdown!?

  • Brian Kendrick comes down to the ring. He takes a microphone and starts talking to the crowd, before eventually getting interupted by Orlando Jordan. They have a big argument, going back and forth on the microphone, before agreeing to face each other later on in a singles match.

  • In a match that had some good action but non-existent crowd heat, Douglas Williams defeated Murphy in 6:29 by pinfall with a
    Chaos Theory
    .

  • London Brawling cut a backstage promo.

  • In a bout that featured great action but not much in the way of heat, Yun Yang defeated Amazing Red in 6:29 by pinfall with a
    Corkscrew Moonsault
    .

  • Motor City Machine Guns cut a backstage promo.

  • In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Abdul Bashir and Dean Dinsmore defeated Eric Young and Shark Boy in 9:11 when Abdul Bashir defeated Shark Boy by pinfall with a
    Hammerlock DDT
    .

  • Dinsmore and Bashir cut a backstage promo talking about how characters like those they just beat are the reason wrestling is disrespected.

  • In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Brian Kendrick defeated Orlando Jordan in 9:23 by pinfall with a
    Sliced Bread #2
    .

  • Brian Kendrick offered an open challenge for next week!

TNA Lockdown Report

http://www.tnaondemand.com/images/lockdown2011.jpg

This is the TNA Lockdown report from US Bank Arena, Cincinnati, Ohio. It is the only all cage pay-per-view of the year and here is what went down, at Lockdown!

The show started with an introduction from Tenay and Taz but they were soon cut off by the noise of Mark Copani's music. He comes to the ring and talks about Kurt Angle and the Lockdown pay-per-view. He says next month he will be on pay-per-view and will change TNA forever starting with getting rid of Kurt Angle.

The show started with a four ways knockout's match with Mickie James defending against Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky and Sarita. The cage wasn't used much at all in this match and it was over in 8 minutes after a Mick Kick to Madison Rayne for the victory.

The camera then cut to the parking lot and we saw Mr. Anderson attacking Sting as he arrived with a chair he leaves Sting out cold and creeps off believing no one had seen him. The show came back and the commentator discussed the match as the Locked Out match was set up the rules of this match are that the last person left in the cage at the end will be fired from Total Nonstop Action. The match featured Tommy Dreamer, Eric Young, Orlando Jordon, Kiyoshi and Jay Lethal. It was a solid match at a similar to the first match. Soon Eric Young had been creepily helped out of the cage by OJ and Jay Lethal soon had soon followed but not before an impressive diving elbow to Kiyoshi. Then left was Tommy Dreamer and it wasn't long before a Dreamer Driver saw Kiyoshi out cold. Dreamer apologised to Kiyoshi before exiting the cage leaving Kiyoshi to accept his TNA career was over.

There was no time for that as TNA rushed to a Pope promo where he ran down Samoa Joe telling him in 2011, he's been taking it easy but tonight it changes, he says the feud ends tonight with a win for The Pope! Joe then made his entrance and the match began at a high level with the self prophecy of Dinero holding true as he took the control in the match and almost escaped the cage after a DDE to Joe but he quickly ran up the cage and hit Dinero with a Muscle Buster from the top of the cage and Pope landed awkwardly but Joe couldn't capitalise as he was worn out himself. That said he did get a two fall when he finally slithered on top of Joe. Other than that the only main notable event was the ending when Samoa Joe made Pope pass out.

After that we where taken to the back and we saw conflicting promo's from Brother Devon and Bully Ray. They spoke of their hate for each other after being so close and Devon said this isn't just for him, it's also for his kids.

The match between the two was next and it was an excellent match, telling the true story of an emotional storyline between the two and the use of weapons in this match was brutal with barbed wire boards being part of Devon's offence in this match and he took control for most of the match. And he made it a real Team 3D match by bringing a table into play. Soon both men where bleeding and neither looked able to get the edge until Brother Devon got some glass and laid it across the table. He then took Bully to the top rope and went to superplex him through the table but Ray blocked it and hit a powerbomb on Devon leaving both men slumped in the ring with Bully Ray on to pick up the win.

The next match up was the X Division Xscape title match, but more excitement was over the mystery participant who has been tormenting Kazarian since after his win at Victory Road. Everyone else was in the ring and the lights went down, there was clear excitement in the building and the messages from this past month came up again before changing as the lights came up, stood on top of the cage was... Senshi! He jumped down and took everyone out. The match was good from there with the division doing what it does and putting a great display on. Shane Helms eliminated Shannon Moore and Suicide, but he was then eliminated by Yun Yang as the match began to pick up. Senshi and Yang had an excellent chain of wrestling which ended with a kick that almost knocked his head off and definitely saw his chance of winning over. The match then became about the escape. And it came to a head on the top of the cage, they traded blows and Senshi tried to throw a leg at Kazarian but he ducked and Frankie got him into a kings chair setting up for a back to the future, Senshi rolled out the back and landed on the ring floor protecting himself well but he was too far away and Kazarian escaped and retained the title. RVD then hyped his months of battle with Jeff Hardy.

Then was time for Lethal Lockdown which certainly lived up to it's name AJ Styles. Beer Money and Morgan won the match against Hardy, JJ, Hernandez and Abyss when after a huge dive from the top by AJ left only Hardy and Beer Money in the ring. Leaving him an easy target to be hit with DWI onto a trash can. Mr. Anderson then cut a promo saying he hope Sting shows up as he has a feeling the champ has got cold feet.

The next match was Kurt vs. Jeff Hardy vs. RVD and it was a good match if a little flat for the 3 guys in the ring, they did the job though and Kurt worked his usual Moonsault from the top work as did Jeff with the Swanton both to which RVD was the target. This match could only be won by pinfall or submission, an odd stipulation but it was clear why as near the end Mark Copani came out while Angle had an Ankle Lock on Hardy and took him out of the ring battering him. Despite this Kurt wouldn't let go of the hold and it looked like Jeff was going away as well, but Abdul Bashir slammed the door into his face knocking him back and leaving RVD to hit a rolling thunder followed by a top of the cage Frog Splash for the win. After the match Copani reaches the top of the ramp with Angle who is bleeding from Copani's punches to him, Copani now knowing the match was over, hit Angle with a reverse STO and locked in a Camel Clutch he held it for a minute and slammed Angle down into the ramp, leaving with a huge smirk on his face.

Then there was the main event, along with Bully Ray and Devon this was MOTN. As always Sting brought his a game especially when selling the injury from Anderson earlier. The two went back and forth and it was a great encounter between two vicious enemies. The match was won by Sting who after a large spell of Anderson dominance hit a Death Drop on Anderson and lock in the Death Lock, forcing Mr. Anderson to tap out.

I give this PPV 8/10.
