  1. Not this season no as we are nearly half way through. There will definitely be space for one new team next season as now the league is up and running, I realise that 10 is the ideal number. More than that and it will be too many to fit in with running AEW in the game and also my time running the league. There will likely be two spaces as WooItsNathan has been inactive all season since the initial draft so I'll be very surprised if he makes a reappearance to run his team. Of course the eight active teams will remain in the league if they want to. If any of those choose to drop out after this season then that will be their choice and would free up another space.
  2. Jerry Lawler. And that's it. I've checked WWE's alumni page in game and also their news section and he's the only one listed. They haven't fired anybody. Though it might well change during the window as they do have some contracts about to expire.
  3. Orange Cassidy has replaced Kenny Omega in Timeless Ensemble.
  4. Adam Page has replaced Killswitch in The Peak of Perfection.
  5. I've removed him. I would like to say I did it to test you... but I'd be lying. I was being thick.
  6. AEW wrestlers available to be signed for league teams MEN Aaron Solo Action Andretti Adam Cole (injured 55 days game time) Alex Reynolds Angelo Parker Anthony Bowens Anthony Ogogo AR Fox Ari Daivari Austin Gunn Big Bill Billy Gunn Bishop Kaun Boulder Brandon Brandon Cutler Brent Brian Cage Brody King Bronson Buddy Matthews Cash Wheeler Christopher Daniels Chuck Taylor Colt Cabana Colten Gunn Dalton Castle Daniel Garcia Darius Martin Dax Harwood Dralistico Dutch El Hijo del Vikingo Ethan Page Evil Uno Gravity Hook Isiah Kassidy Jack Perry Jacked Jameson Jake Hager Jeff Hardy Jeff Jarrett (injured 9 months 1 week) John Silver Juice Robinson (injured 55 days) Keith Lee Kenny Omega (ill 13 days) Killswitch Komander Kota Ibushi (injured 55 days) Kyle Fletcher Kyle O'Reilly (injured 55 days) Lance Archer Mark Briscoe Mark Davis (injured 55 days) Marq Quen Matt Hardy Matt Menard Matt Taven Matthew Jackson Max Caster Michael Nakazawa Mike Bennett Nicholas Jackson Nick Comoroto Nick Wayne Ortiz Pac (injured 10 months 3 weeks) Parker Boudreaux Peter Avalon Powerhouse Hobbs Preston Vance Roderick Strong Rush Sammy Guevara (injured 2 months but is working through it) Scorpio Sky Stu Grayson The Blade Toa Liona Trent Beretta Vincent WOMEN Anna Jay Billie Starkz Dr Britt Baker D.M.D. (injured 13 days) Marina Shafir Megan Bayne Mercedes Martinez Nyla Rose Penelope Ford Red Velvet Yuka Sakazaki
  7. TRANSFER & SIGNING WINDOW The transfer and signing window is now open as at least 5 teams have now had 16 matches. The window will remain open until at least 5 teams have had 24 matches. It will then be closed for the remainder of the season, other than to replace wrestlers who become unavailable. Managers are now free to release anybody in your squad for any reason. This wrestler then becomes a free agent and can be signed by anybody else. You can sign anybody not signed for a league team you want. If this is a non AEW wrestler, it is dependant on them being able and willing to sign a contract in game. You can sign anybody from another league team, provided the other manager agrees to let them go. If the other manager refuses to release the wrestler, you can't sign them. You cannot go above the maximum of 4 men and 3 women in your squad. So if you have a full squad, you must release somebody to be able to sign somebody. You can either post on this forum thread or private message me of wrestlers you are releasing and signing. If there is a scenario where more than one manager wants to sign the same wrestler, then whichever is earliest according to the time it shows me on this forum thread or in the private message gets the signing. There is no limit to the number of changes you can make while the window is open.

  13. PRE SHOW Buddy Matthews beat AR Fox in 9:25 by pinfall with a Murphys Law. 57 COLLISION Saturday, week 2, March 2024 Viking Pavilion, Portland, Oregon (3,400 capacity) Announcers: Kevin Kelly, Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone Steve Austin walks down to the ring to start Collision as 3,400 fans in Portland go wild. He climbs into the ring and is handed a microphone... Why am I in AEW? Austin says... I'm here because I can be... I'm here because I want to be... I'm here so I can raise some hell... but as I said on Dynamite age and injuries have got the better of me now so physically I have to have some help doing it now... and at The Big Gamble I will get that help... and the man who will help me is going to raise some hell for 'Hangman' Adam Page... who is it? Austin says... You'll have to wait he says, answering his own question... he pops open a cold one and raises it to the fans, saying "let's raise some hell". 79 v AEW LEAGUE Black Lotus (Kris Statlander) v The Spooky Club (Julia Hart (TBS champion)) Statlander had most of the match, but Hart has been TBS champion for a while now and one reason is she is cunning and resourceful. She used a hair pull to get Statlander in position for the Hartless and took the match in 8:41 by submission. 54 Statlander out performned Hart 58-39 Statlander benefitted from public support. In the basement of the building, the World Tag Team champions Darby Allin and Sting are standing across from Alex Abrahantes and the Lucha Brothers. The two sides show each other respect and Alex says Penta and Fénix are the top ranked tag team, so he's asking for a World Tag Team Championship match at The Big Gamble... Sting says he has a lot of respect for the Lucha Brothers, that they are one of the most exciting tag teams in the world today... and he grants them the title match for April's pay per view. 61 v AEW LEAGUE Timeless Ensemble (Saraya (with Harley Cameron) & 'Timeless' Toni Storm (Women's World champion, with Luther)) v TV Network (Taya Valkyrie & Tessa Blanchard) A decent match and one where the Women's World champion shined the brightest, ironic as she likes being in black and white. She helped Timeless Ensemble to win in 10:33 though it was Saraya who scored the pinfall on Valkyrie with a Ribcracker. 53 Storm out performed everyone else (59, next best Blanchard 49) Saraya suffered from being in poor form. Timeless Ensemble v TV Network is the first match pairing to complete their set of 5 matches in the AEW League. Renee Paquette is backstage with The Patriarchy. She asks TNT champion Christian Cage about Adam Copeland's challenge for The Big Gamble... Cage says he is done with Copeland... but if he gets the chance to be rid of him for good, he'll take it so he accepts his challenge for an I Quit match. 67 v AEW LEAGUE The Peak of Perfection (Wardlow) v Team WooItsNathan (Kip Sabian (with Penelope Ford)) A short match, thankfully because it was dull. Wardlow dominated, but did so even though he performed poorly. He won in 4:41 by pinfall with a Powerbomb Symphony. 34 Wardlow was really off his game. Lexy Nair is in the backstage interview area with Team Swerve. She asks for their thoughts... Nick Nemeth says they should be doing a lot better, and he's dying to get more action for his team... Swerve Strickland says 6th place isn't good enough for a team with their talent... Mercedes Moné says their league position isn't going to bring the money in... while Samoa Joe says tonight he has something more important as he will defend his World Championship against Jon Moxley in the main event. 70 v AEW LEAGUE The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society ('The Professor' Serena Deeb) v The Golden Lion Club (Ruby Soho) The 6th and 4th ranked women in AEW meet in league action. It was a good match, the best of the night so far and it went the way of The Golden Lion Club when Soho won in 12:13 by pinfall with a Destination Unknown. 60 Deeb out performed Soho 61-51 Alex Marvez has been granted access to The EVPs' luxurious, private locker room. Matthew and Nicholas Jackson say that Revolution was a travesty of justice... Matthew continues, saying that Darby Allin transgressed all health and safety when he leapt off a ladder on top of Nicholas Jackson and through the glass... Nicholas goes on by saying the match should have been stopped there and then, a no contest called and a rematch should have taken place, remarking there is no place for such sick acts in professional wrestling. 58 v OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Johnny TV v 'American Dragon' Bryan Danielson TV got some of his parkour based offence in, but in a good contest Danielson simply out wrestled his opponent on the way to a win, it arriving in 11:01 by pinfall with a Busaiko Knee. 74 Danielson far out performed TV 80-60 Backstage and we see Jake The Snake Roberts with Jack Perry. Jake Roberts his handling a python while Jack Perry is looking a little nervous handling an anaconda. Roberts tells Perry he has to remain calm, have a clear mind and be ready to strike at any time... it's what snakes do. 43 v The Gunns (with Jay White) v Lucha Brothers (with Alex Abrahantes) Lucha Brothers have been in great form of late, especially Fénix, and this continued with a convicing win over fellow former World Tag Team champions. If Lucha Brothers continue in this vein then Darby Allin and Sting are going to face their most difficult challenge yet at The Big Gamble. Penta beat Colten in 11:13 by pinfall with an Assisted Fear Factor. 68 Fénix out performed everyone else (85, next best Penta 65) Penta was really off his game. Backstage and Bryan Danielson is with Renee Paquette. Danielson says he's pleased to beat Johnny TV tonight and go through to the Second Round of the Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament... but he's looking ahead to The Big Gamble... he wants in The Big Gamble match... and he's willing to gamble his entire career... if he loses he will retire on the spot. 70 v AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Samoa Joe (champion) v Jon Moxley Moxley has had Joe's number in recent league tag and trios matches, so he's earned a World Championship match as he looks to become a four time World champion. The match was very even, hard hitting and some high impact moves between two of AEW's bona fide tough men. In one on one action, it was Joe who just edged it, making defence number four in 21:51 by pinfall with a Muscle Buster. 75 - match of the night Show rating: 73 AEW increased popularity in 13 regions. Attendance: 3,400 (sell out) TV rating: 1.04 (782,950 viewers and 1,114, 239 overall) Collision was the top rated AEW show in 2024. Samoa Joe v Jon Moxley was the 7th best AEW match in 2024.
