  4. PRE SHOW Taya Valkyrie beat Anna Jay by pinfall in 9:50 with a Road to Valhalla. 40 COLLISION Saturday, week 1, March 2024 Lowell Memorial Auditorium, Lowell, Massachusetts (2,800 capacity) Announcers: Kevin Kelly, Nigel McGuinness & Tony Schiavone We start with Chris Jericho in the ring, and he asks his Le Sex Gods tag team partner Sammy Guevara to come to the ring. Sammy does and Jericho gets straight to the point... he asks Sammy what the plan is tomorrow night at Revolution as he's being kept in the dark. Sammy tells Jericho not to worry, everything is in hand and it's all go for tomorrow night... Jericho asks what is... Sammy says he can't say... but Don Callis Family won't know what has hit them. 62 v AEW LEAGUE Timeless Ensemble ('The Patriarch' Christian Cage (TNT champion)) v Team WooItsNathan ('Superbad' Kip Sabian (with Penelope Ford)) A big opportunity for the Brit here. If he can beat the TNT champion not only will he pick up his team's first three points, but he will be very likely to get a TNT Championship match. It never looked likely to happen though as the veteran champion out wrestled and out fought him. Cage took the points and the win in 8:13 by pinfall with a Killswitch. 62 Cage far out performed Sabian 70-48 Cage benefitted from being in amazing form. Backstage and Alex Marvez interviews Prince Nana and the Mogul Embassy. Nana says he has the trio ready for tomorrow night, where they will kick The Acclaimed and Daddy's ass and take the AEW World Trios Championship... and then when Swerve wins the big one, they will all have gold. 43 Nana benefitted from a hot catchphrase. v Dark Order v Top Flight A decent match, better than perhaps some people expected. Dark Order were once, in the early days of AEW, quite a formidable group. Now though they are a shadow of their former selves. Top Flight, while their careers have been steadily on the rise in AEW have never quite taken off. They picked up a good win here in10:40 when Dante pinned Reynolds with a Red Eye. 60 Both teams have excellent chemistry. Dante benefitted from a hot new move. Renee Paquette is backstage with Undisputed Kingdom, including the injured Adam Cole. While Cole says he is surprised that Orange Cassidy has friends apart from the Best Friends... Roderick Strong says they aren't worried as the Undisputed Kingdom are great friends and a close knit group who have each others backs... and Strong is going to take the International Championship tomorrow night from Cassidy. 53 Cole benefitted from a hot catchphrase. v OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Chuck Taylor v Anthony Bowens (World Trios champion) A decent match and although Taylor seemed off his game, he still managed to pull a win out of the bag, advancing in 9:58 by pinfall with an Awful Waffle. 57 Taylor seemed off his game. Bowens benefitted from public support. Lexy Nair is backstage for her AEW League team interview and it's with The Spooky Club, with the eclectic group once again without Emi Sakura who is in Japan. Sting and Malakai Black have the same review... saying it's not going well being eighth in the league and only the pointless Team WooItsNathan behind them. Julia Hart says it is very disappointing as The House always wins... and the interview closes with Danhausen (attempting?) to curse the other teams. 46 Danhausen benefitted from public support. v AEW LEAGUE TV Network (Will Ospreay, Jay Lethal (with Sonjay Dutt) & Johnny TV (with Taya Valkyrie)) v Black Lotus ('Alpha' Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis), 'Natural' Dustin Rhodes & 'The Redeemer' Miro) Another good match, the night has been good for in ring action so far, and it was one that could have gone either way with everyone hitting signature moves. In the end it was Black Lotus collecting three points in 13:23 when Miro submitted Jay Lethal with Game Over. 62 Takeshita benefitted from being flavour of the month. TV is improving at his gimmick. Backstage and the World Tag Team champions Darby Allin and Sting are clearly pissed off at their Revolution challengers... but Darby says they will let their fists do their talking tomorrow night... as Sting says that the only thing to expect from Stinger is the unexpected... and he pulls out a chequebook... which is a AEW business chequebook (do people even still use these?)... and there are some blank cheques that have been signed by Nicholas Jackson... so Sting says he is going to have some fun... he writes one out to a children's charity for $100,000... he writes one out to Tony Schiavone for $10,000... he writes one out to the Owen Hart Founation for $50,000... and he writes a final one out for a health insurance company for $25,000... "because you Young Bucks are going to need it after tomorrow night... it's Showtime". 62 v AEW LEAGUE The Peak of Perfection (Thunder Rosa & 'The Virtuosa' Deonna Purrazzo) v The Golden Lion Club (Athena & Ruby Soho) Another good and very close match. Another that could have gone either way with all four ladies hitting signature moves. In the end the league leaders pulled further clear when Rosa pinned Athena in 11:47 with a La Rosa. 60 Rosa seemed off her game. Athena benefitted from being in amazing form. Jim Ross conducts a pre recorded it down interview with Bryan Danielson and Jay White, who meet tomorrow night at Revolution. JR asks Danielson if he expected Jay White to answer his open challenge for Revolution... Danielson replies by saying yes... he is in his final chapter of his career and he's made no secret he wants matches against the best and matches against dream opponents... and Jay White is a worthy opponent for his final chapter... JR then asks White why he accepted the challenge... White says Danielson is one of the best ever... so for the Switchblade to be the best ever, he has to beat the best ever. 72 White benefitted from being flavour of the month. v 'Switchblade' Jay White (with The Gunn Club) v Penta El Cero Miedo (with Alex Abrahantes) If White saw this as a tune up match, he's in with a dangerous opponent for one. Penta is very capable in the ring and when he wants to be, downright violent. It was a very good match, the best yet on a really good night wrestling. And another that could have gone either way. In the end White won in 12:23 by pinfall with a Blade Runner. 72 - match of the night White and Penta have pretty good chemistry. White benefitted from being flavour of the month. Will Ospreay comes to the ring and addresses MJF's comments from Dynamite on Wednesday night... he talks about his respect and even admiration that MJF was the AEW World champion for over a year... to be the top dog for so long takes ability, guts and determination... which is something that Ospreay says he has even more of, bruv... and tomorrow night at Revolution the fans will be treated to a match for the ages and when MJF is added to the list of superstars that he has beaten, it will be Will Ospreay who will be top dog sooner rather than later... bruv. 64 v AEW LEAGUE The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society ('American Dragon' Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta) v Team Swerve (Swerve Strickland (with Prince Nana), Samoa Joe (World champion) & Mike Santana) A good match, though not as even as some of the earlier contests as although the World champion and one of the number one contender was on one team, their trio wasn't able to compete with the slick teamwork from three quarters of the Blackpool Combat Club. This lead to three points for BDAS in 16:17 when Moxley submitted Joe with a Bulldog Choke. 70 Show rating: 70 AEW increased popularity in 13 regions. Attendance: 2,800 (sell out) TV rating: 1.03 (776,374 viewers and 1,106,864 overall) QUICK RESULTS Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta beat Swerve Strickland, Samoa Joe & Mike Santana (league match) Jay White beat Penta El Cero Miedo Thunder Rosa & Deonna Purrazzo beat Athena & Ruby Soho (league match) Konosuke Takeshita, Dustin Rhodes & Miro beat Will Ospreay, Jay Lethal & Johnny TV (league match) Chuck Taylor beat Anthony Bowens in Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round Top Flight beat Dark Order Christian Cage beat Kip Sabian (league match)
  5. RAMPAGE Wednesday, week 1, March 2024 Broadcast on Friday, week 1, March 2024 Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket, Connecticut (3,600 capacity) Announce team: Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Chris Jericho. Renee Paquette starts the show with the Ring of Honor Women’s World champion, Athena. Athena says she is delighted to be back on AEW TV and tonight she faces Willow Nightingale in the main event… she says there is a reason that she has been Ring of Honor Women’s World champion for over a year… and it’s because she’s the best… and tonight she’s advancing to the second round of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. 52 OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN’S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Colten Gunn v Nick Comoroto A poor match and one that went with expectations as Gunn won in 6:32 by pinfall with a Colt 45. 38 Gunn out performed Comoroto 42-31 In the backstage interview area we see Nyla Rose, where she says she’s going to run through everyone on the way to winning the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament… because she’s the Native Beest. 42 Mogul Embassy v The Iron Savages Another pretty poor match and again the favourites won as Mogul Embassy had their hands raised in 7:17 when Brian Cage pinned Bronson with a Weapon X. 45 Jacked Jameson seemed off his game. Renee Paquette is now backstage with Willow Nightingale. Willow says she respects Athena, she respects her perfect win loss record in Ring of Honor and she respects the fact she has been champion for so long… but this isn’t Ring of Honor… it’s All Elite Wrestling… where the best wrestle… and Willow says she will show Athena who is the best tonight. 53 ‘Limitless’ Keith Lee v Parker Boudreaux The return of two men who have been out of action in AEW for quite a while. It was easy to see who returned better and who is the better wrestler in the match as Lee won in 9:05 by pinfall with a Spirit Bomb. 49 Lee far out performed Boudreaux 59-24 In the locker room we see Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt. Jarrett is complaining that they haven’t been having matches lately, that they can’t beat some ass and make some cash… until Lethal points out that both he and Singh are members of AEW League teams and have been getting some matches… leading to Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh having to break up the start of an argument between Jarrett and Lethal before it escalates. 50 OWEN HART FOUNDATION WOMEN’S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND ‘Fallen Goddess’ Athena v Willow Nightingale Easily the best wrestling of the match between two skilled women, and the contest was pretty even throughout. Ultimately it was the Ring of Honor Women’s World champion who prevailed, with Athena beating Nightingale in 15:05 with a Top Rope Stunner. 62 – match of the night Show rating: 56 Attendance: 3,018 TV rating: 0.06 (50,425 viewers and 80,380 overall) QUICK RESULTS Athena beat Willow Nightingale in Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament First Round Keith Lee beat Parker Boudreaux Mogul Embassy beat The Iron Savages Colten Gunn beat Nick Comoroto in Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament First Round
  6. PRE SHOW Nyla Rose beat Riho in 8:08 by submission with a Camel Clutch. 54 DYNAMITE Wednesday, week 1, March 2024 Foxwoods Resort Casino, Mashantucket, Connecticut (3,600 capacity) Announces: Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone Dynamite starts in a backstage corridor where we see the World champion Samoa Joe and one of his Revolution challengers (and Team Swerve team mate) Swerve Strickland attacking the other Revolution challenger, Adam Page. Joe and Swerve are trading punches on the Hangman, who valiantly and briefly tries a fight back, but Joe and Strickland show that two on one is too much... in the backstage a glimpse of the masked man in the black hoodie is seen lurking in the shadows... though this time he doesn't intervene and Page is left to take the beating... An interesting development, is he really on Page's side? 68 v AEW LEAGUE The Spooky Club (Julia Hart (TBS champion) & Abadon) v The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society (Hikaru Shida & 'The Professor' Serena Deeb) A one sided match in which Abadon especially was dominated by the opposition. The dominance led to victory for The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society when Deeb pinned Abadon in 7:36 with a Spear. 53 Abadon was really off her game. Abadon performed far worse than everyone else (25, next worst Hart 42) Deeb benefitted from being in amazing form. Backstage and Renee Paquette is with the International champion, Orange Cassidy. Renee asks Orange how he got Nick Nemeth to be his partner last week in their winning effort against Roderick Strong and Wardlow... Orange as usual doesn't say a lot... though he does say he doesn't just have Best Friends. 65 v AEW LEAGUE Team WooItsNathan ('Superbad' Kip Sabian, The Butcher & John Silver) v Black Lotus ('Alpha' Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis), 'Natural' Dustin Rhodes & 'The Redeemer' Miro) A decent match and one where Takeshita rose up as the stand out performer. He led Black Lotus to the win and three points and it was his team mate Rhodes who scored the pinfall in 8:29 with a Cross Rhodes on Sabian. 59 Takeshita out performed everyone else (69, next best Miro and Silver 57) Sabian seemed off his game. Takeshita benefitted from being flavour of the month. After the match, Don Callis gets in the ring and tells the world Konosuke Takeshita is the Alpha of AEW... then saying he is not worried about Sammy Guevara's plan for Revolution and the street fight between the Family and Le Sex Gods... he says Guevara doesn't have the brains to come up with a good plan. 44 v 'The Peacock' Dalton Castle (with The Boys) v 'The Anaconda' Jack Perry (with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts) Last week Jack Perry aligned himself with Jake Roberts and this week you can already see the results, as he is both more focused and more vicious than ever before. He lay into Castle with deliberate purpose and relentless aggressiveness. His usual fast paced, high flying style has almost vanished. This is a new Jack Perry and one that means business and will take no prisoners. He won in 8:39 by submission with an Anaconda Vice. 53 Backstage interview area now and Lexy Nair is doing her usual twice weekly interview with the AEW League team not in action tonight... and tonight it is Peak of Perfection who sit proud at the top of the table. Naturally they are all very happy with how the league is going for them... Jay White says it is no surprise with the talent they have... Killswitch... Wardlow... Thunder Rosa... Deonna Purrazzo... and MJF who for once doesn't say too much, but he does say "We're better than you... and you know it". 57 Deonna Purrazzo is getting better at her gimmick. v 'The Virtuosa' Deonna Purrazzo & 'CEO' Mercedes Moné v 'Timeless' Toni Storm (Women's World champion) & Mariah May (with Luther) A good match, with a somewhat chaotic finish. Purrazzo and Moné teamed up well, perhaps to the surprise of some. The finish came when Purrazzo and Storm finally got in the ring together, started to have more of a hockey style fight, which then split to ringside, then into the fans and then into the arena concourse. Back in the ring, Moné and May were left alone for their respective teams and Moné finished the job in 11:54 by submission with a Bank Statement. 62 Moné out performed everyone else (73, next best Purrazzo 62) May performed worse than everyone else (40, next worst Storm 56) May seemed off her game. May benefitted from public support. The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass are in the backstage interview area. The Acclaimed proudly have the World Trios Championship belts draped over their shoulders while Billy Gunn has his dangling from his neck. They say they are ready for Revolution, ready for Mogul Embassy and ready to keep their titles. 41 v FTW CHAMPIONSHIP FTW RULES Hook (champion) v Buddy Matthews (with Julia Hart) A reasonable match that saw a good mix of high flying, technical wrestling and weapons use. It was very even with both men getting a number of near falls. In the end Hook made defence number four of the title in 12:24 by submission with a Red Rum. 52 Hook and Matthews have great chemistry. Hook benefitted from public support. Jim Ross conducts a sit down interview with TNT champion Christian Cage and his now sole Revolution challenger, Daniel Garcia. JR asks Cage how he feels that Adam Copeland is missing the match through injury... Cage responds by saying that Copeland isn't injured, he's a coward who is scared of facing the best TNT champion and father in AEW history... Daniel Garcia responds by saying that for somebody who is such an established veteran and star of wrestling... Christian Cage is also an established jackass... the two stand and square up to each other, with Cage pushing the TNT Championship belt in Garcia's face, telling him it's the closest he will ever get to it. 61 v AEW LEAGUE Team Swerve (Samoa Joe (World champion)) v TV Network (Matt Cardona) A decent match and Cardona was tough, putting up a really good fight... though the World champion was simply too good for him, winning in 12:47 by submission with a Coquina Clutch. 64 Joe out performed Cardona 70-54 MJF is about to get in a limo to leave the arena when a camera crew catches up with him. At first MJF flips them off, saying he wants to check out the ladies of Connecticut... but then he changes his mind and does have a few words for the camera... specifically Will Ospreay... he says Ospreay has achieved a lot in Japan, more than most Americans have ever achieved over there (either ignoring or forgetting that Ospreay is English)... but this is America... this is AEW... and this is where MJF was World champion for a record setting 406 days... and he will show Ospreay at Revolution that "I am better than you... and you know it." 79 MJF's performance was fantastic. v AEW LEAGUE The Golden Lion Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Lucha Brothers (with Alex Abrahantes)) v Timeless Ensemble ('The Patriarch' Christian Cage (TNT champion), Darby Allin & 'Absolute' Ricky Starks A very good match and one where most would probably give the edge to The Golden Lion Club. However, it may surprise some that it was Timeless Ensemble who picked up the win and three points to continue their steady climb up the league after a slow start. Their win arrived in 18:52 when Starks pinned Castagnoli with a Roshambo. 71 - match of the night Cage benefitted from being in amazing form. Starks benefitted from being flavour of the month. Show rating: 69 AEW increased popularity in 24 regions. Attendance: 3,018 TV rating: 1.12 (841,683 viewers and 1,493,793 overall) QUICK RESULTS Christian Cage, Darby Allin & Ricky Starks beat Claudio Castagnoli & Lucha Brothers (league match) Samoa Joe beat Matt Cardona (league match) Hook beat Buddy Matthews to retain the FTW Championship Deonna Purrazzo & Mercedes Moné beat Toni Storm & Mariah May Jack Perry beat Dalton Castle Konosuke Takeshita, Dustin Rhodes & Miro beat Kip Sabian, The Butcher & John Silver (league match) Hikaru Shida & Serena Deeb beat Julia Hart & Abadon (league match)

  18. PRE SHOW Jake Hager beat Buddy Matthews in 9:26 by pinfall with a Hager Bomb. 47 COLLISION Saturday, week 4, February 2024 Ralston Arena, Omaha, Nebraska (4,356 capacity) Announcers: Kevin Kelly, Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone We start with the World Tag Team champions Darby Allin and Sting arriving at the arena, with the scene captioned 'EARLIER TODAY' in the bottom left corner of the screen. Sting parks up their car and the two get out and are immediately attacked by Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. The Young Bucks beat down the champions, hitting them with a Superkick Party before throwing them both onto the car. Nicholas looks into the camera and says "those titles are ours". 58 v AEW LEAGUE Timeless Ensemble (Darby Allin (World Tag Team champion) & 'Absolute' Ricky Starks) v Team WooItsNathan (Kip Sabian & The Butcher) And Darby looks pretty beat up as he enters the main arena for the opening match of the night. Fortunately for Timeless Ensemble, Starks and even a beat up Allin are simply too good for Team WooItsNathan with Starks picking up the win in 9:11 by pinfall on Sabian with a Spear. 65 - match of the night Starks benefitted from being flavour of the month. Backstage and Alex Marvez is with Alex Abrahantes and the Lucha Brothers, who had an impressive win in the Dynamite main event. Abrahantes mentions this, saying Lucha Brothers are on fire and that he has heard that the House of Black say they are on fire... well let's play fire with fire... they are looking forward to Zero Hour at Revolution where the Lucha Brothers will face Kings of the Black Throne. 51 v Skye Blue v Yuka Sakazaki A decent match though a match that the crowd wasn't really into, which was a shame as the ladies put in a good effort. Sakazaki was the better wrestler, though it was Blue who got the win in 7:48 by pinfall with a Code Blue. 54 Sakazaki out performed Blue 58-42 Blue benefitted from public support. Sammy Guevera is in the locker room with Chris Jericho. Guevara says he has a plan for the street fight at Revolution against the Don Callis Family. Jericho asks Guevara if he's going to tell him what the plan is. Guevara says he can't yet, he needs some things to come together, though he will tell him when it does. 64 v AEW LEAGUE Black Lotus ('Alpha' Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis) & 'Natural' Dustin Rhodes) v TV Network (Jay Lethal & Will Ospreay) Adam Copeland was supposed to be Takeshita's partner but the broken foot he suffered in the Dynamite main event has put him out, so Dustin Rhodes takes his place. Takeshita and Ospreay stole the show in the match over the veterans, both putting in impressive performances. Perhaps surprisingly, Takeshita and Rhodes made a very good team, but ultimately it was Ospreay who won for TV Network, pinning Rhodes in 9:54 after a Hidden Blade. 63 Takeshita and Rhodes showed excellent chemistry. Takeshita benefitted from being flavour of the month. Lexy Nair is backstage with The Golden Lion Club - Claudio Castagnoli, Athena, Ruby Soho, Lucha Brothers, Chris Jericho and Willow Nightingale. Lexy asks for their thoughts on the AEW League so far. Jericho says they are pleased, they are up the top, challenging for the title. Castagnoli agrees, saying while they have had a couple of defeats, over such a long season they will have a defeat or two. He is pleased that the team has been getting on, works well together and in the Lucha Brothers have probably the in form tag team in AEW at the moment. They all do Penta's cero miedo gesture to close the segment. 57 v OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND MJF v Ortiz A good match, and one that MJF dominated, with Will Ospreay showing a smile on camera as he watched on a backstage monitor. MJF duly won in 7:59 with by pinfall with a Heat Seeker. 60 MJF far out performed Ortiz 77-54 Renee Paquette is backstage with Women's World champion 'Timeless' Toni Storm, her butler Luther and her wannabe, Mariah May. Paquette asks Storm how she feels about the no contact clause with Deonna Purrazzo. Storm says she is delighted darling... finally we can have some class and decorum... and not have a ruffian like Purrazzo run round wild... Paquette then tells Storm that the no contact clause will be put to one side on Dynamite next week when Storm will team with Mariah May to take on Deonna Purrazzo and a partner of her choosing... Storm's not happy with this... complaining she will take the matter to The Writers Guild of America. 42 v AEW LEAGUE The Spooky Club ('The Icon' Sting) v Team Swerve (Nick Nemeth) Nick Nemeth's singles debut in AEW and it's against The Icon himself. The Icon may be fast approaching retirement now but he can still go and he and Nemeth put on a good match. Nemeth had the better of the contest but came up short when Sting made him submit in 9:39 to the Scorpion Deathlock. 57 Renee Paquette interviews Christian Cage who his flanked by his Patriarchy, Killswitch and Nick Wayne. Cage says he doesn't give a shit that Copeland has supposedly hurt his foot, he's taking the easy way out of their match at Revolution... speaking of which he is going to beat Daniel Garcia so he can set an example to his sons of what a great wrestler does in the ring. 51 v 'Murderhawk Monster' Lance Archer v 'The Redeemer' Miro A battle between two big, nasty men. It was as hard hitting as everyone expected it to be. And despite Miro being the favourite and having the better of the match, it was Archer who picked up the win in 11:38 by pinfall with a Blackout. 59 Miro out performed Archer 61-51 Backstage and in the interview area Tony Khan is smiling. He says that he is here to announce the byes in the Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round as due to the number of wrestlers in the tournament, they can't have a full First Round. He announces the wrestlers receiving a bye into the Second Round are... Claudio Castagnoli... Jeff Jarrett... Orange Cassidy... Lance Archer... Nicholas Jackson... Vincent... and Miro. 49 Khan benefitted from public support. v Bullet Club Gold & FTR v Blackpool Combat Club & Daniel Garcia A decent match and choatic main event, full of multiple men in the ring, pinfall and submission saves and general brawling in and out of the ring. Paul Turner more than had his hands full staying in charge of this and it seems like he just decided to let them fight. This had ramifications for momentum going into Revolution too with two seperate matches on the pay per view featuring wrestlers on opposing sides here. Danielson proved to be the difference maker in this match and he helped his side to win, with that coming in 16:11 when Castagnoli pinned Colten Gunn with a Neutralizer. 63 Danielson out performed everyone else (80, next best White 69). White benefitted from being flavour of the month. Show rating: 63 AEW lost popularity in 9 regions. AEW gained popularity in 2 regions. 19. Yes, just write here. We're not in a draft so you're not directly in competition in making signings. Juice is still out for another 10 weeks or so. You can always sign him back either in a transfer window, in between seasons or when somebody else becomes unavailable.
  20. INJURIES So February is almost done and I hadn't suffered any injuries... and then get three in one show, including two members of league teams, including Adam Copeland which will also take him out of the TNT Championship match at Revolution. @Wrestling Machine Adam Copeland is now out of action for around 4 weeks. You have a choice. You can keep him in your squad but obviously can't use him for a little while or you can replace him with somebody not currently with a team. If you choose to replace him, you can only resign Copeland in a transfer window or at the end of the season. I shall explain a litte more about the transfer window shortly. @stratusfaction Similarly, Trinity is also out of action, for around a month. You can also choose to replace her or keep her in your squad in the same manner as Wrestling Machine above with Copeland. You also have an extra option... Trinity has surgery available for her back injury. However, it is rated as high risk in the game. Both of you please let me know what you want to do, and in Stratusfaction's case what you want to do about Trinity's surgery. As her manager, you get the choice. To assist you, these wrestlers are in AEW, healthy and not signed to a league team and are rated well known or above in the game. Chris Jericho Orange Cassidy Adam Page Anthony Bowens Brody King Cash Wheeler Daniel Garcia Dax Harwood Hook Jack Perry Jeff Hardy Matthew Jackson Max Caster Miro Nicholas Jackson Roderick Strong Anybody outside of AEW can be chosen, provided they are able and willing to sign a contract in the game. I am aware there are no women on that list. All the ones rated well known or above are already signed to league teams. TRANSFER WINDOW I was going to wait a little bit before I release details of the mid season transfer window, but as it isn't far away and there are now some managers who have decisions to make and the upcoming transfer window may be a factor in their choice, I shall give details of the mid season transfer window now. It will start when five or more teams have had at least 16 matches (currently one has had 14, one 13 and four 12 before Collision this week). It will end when five or more teams have had at least 24 matches (each team will have 40 matches in the season). You as a manager will be free to release anybody in your squad for any reason. Outside of a transfer window the only reason you can release somebody from your squad is if they become unavailable to wrestle. This wrestler then becomes a free agent and can be signed by anybody else. You can sign anybody not signed for a league team you want. If this is a non AEW wrestler, it is dependant on them being able and willing to sign a contract in game. You can sign anybody from another league team, provided the other manager agrees to let them go. If the other manager refuses to release the wrestler, you can't sign them. You cannot go above the maximum of 4 men and 3 women in your squad. Any questions or queries, please feel free to ask. AND FINALLY... I know I haven't really given any clues... who do you reckon is the masked man in black?

Abadon and Hart don’t seem to click. Backstage in the interview area, Dark Order are assembled having lost to The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass on Dynamite. Evil Uno says it’s time they looked to their past for their future, it’s time they became dark again and it’s time they had more members again. 43 ‘Cool Hand Ang’ Angelo Parker & ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard v The Butcher & The Blade A decent match, miles better than the opener. Some really good team work on display from both sides. The Butcher finally got a win for all his recent strong performances when he pinned Parker in 8L47 with a Flaming Yawn. 54 Menard and Parker have excellent chemistry Butcher & Blade have great chemistry MJF is now backstage with Renee Paquette. He says ha ha ha, Wheeler Yuta is very funny… MJF is back he says, he beat Ricky Starks last week… he will beat Yuta tonight and Ortiz tomorrow… and he’s learned not to trust so called friends… he’s better than them and they know it. 66 OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN’S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Matt Taven (with Maria Kanellis) v Matthew Jackson A decent match and well received by the sell out crowd, Matthew Jackson advanced to the Second Round in 11:42 by pinfall with a Moonsault. 63 Jackson out performed Taven 70-57 For the last time tonight we are in the backstage interview area where we see Willow Nightingale with Renee Paquette. Renee says we haven’t seen much of Willow of later and Willow tells everyone she wants some action. She doesn’t specify of what kind. 61 v AEW LEAGUE The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society (Wheeler Yuta) v The Peak of Perfection (MJF) On paper the best Rampage main event for a long time and it lived up to expectations. 23. PRE SHOW The Gunns beat Top Flight in 9:49 when Austin submitted Darius. 52 DYNAMITE Wednesday, week 4, February 2024 Adler Theatre, Davenport, Iowa (2,400 capacity) Announcers: Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone Dynamite starts with angry looking World champion Samoa Joe, angry looking Swerve Strickland and defensive looking Adam Page in the ring. Joe and Swerve again accuse Hangman of being allied with the mysterious black clad hooded man... Joe saying he's getting very pissed off as he got attack again by the man in black while he was in a title defence against Hook... Page denies it has anything to do with him, and then... Out comes the man in black. Not only does he have a black hood, he is also wearing a black mask. With him he is carrying two steel chairs... black of course... he approaches the ring... Joe and Swerve are ready to fight, though are also wary of the man of mystery while Page stands back. The man gets into the ring and Joe, Swerve and Page all back up towards a corner of the ring... the man in black keeps hold of one chair and places the other down, right in the middle of the ring. Joe, Swerve and Page don't seem sure what to do as they look at each other, look at the chair and look at the masked black clad man... then Page rushes forwards, grabs the chair on the mat and nails Swerve Strickland with it. Strickland crumbles in a heap... and the masked black clad man then hits Joe with the chair he kept hold of... Page's expression reads as "what the f have I just done" as he drops the chair back and the masked black clad man looks at Page... looks at the fallen Swerve... looks at the fallen Joe... looks at the chair... and then just leaves. The crowd are stunned and even Excalibur isn't sure as to what to say at the announce desk. 80 Joe looked good. v AEW LEAGUE Team WooItsNathan (Anna Jay) v The Peak of Perfection (Thunder Rosa) A mediocre opening match and one that Rosa dominated. Her superiority led to a comfortable win in 8:53 by pinfall with a La Rosa. 55 Rosa far out performed Jay 59-39 Jay and Rosa have great chemistry. Backstage and CJ Perry is talking to Top Flight. CJ says what would be better than a young stud to mould into a great... two young studs. Top Flight say thanks but no thanks, they have got this far on their own and their Top Flight is only just taking off. 44 v AEW LEAGUE TV Network (Trinity & Tessa Blanchard) v The Spooky Club (Julia Hart (TBS champion) & Abadon)) Not the best match, more due to The Spooky Club not putting in as good a showing as TV Network. TV Network duly secured the 3 points in 8:22 when Tessa pinned Abadon with a Piledriver... though instead of celebrating, it didn't look good when Trinity was lying on the padding at ringside holding her back as Tessa got the win. 46 Trinity sustained a back injury. Abadon seemed off her game, and was worse than everyone else (26, next best Hart 40). Trinity looked good and benefitted from public support. Backstage and Tony Khan is holding the Continental Championship belt. He says the Continental Championship is being retired as a defendable belt and the Continental Classic will return at the end of the year in the same format... and Eddie Kingston as the defending champion will be competing. The other competitors will be announced much closer to the Continental Classic starting. 50 Khan benefitted from public support. v OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Killswitch (with Christian Cage & Nick Wayne) v The Blade (with The Butcher) Both wrestlers were poor in a match where Killswitch mauled The Blade. The former TNT champion won in 6:42 by pinfall with The Betrayal. 38 Killswitch was really off his game. The Blade seemed off his game. Lexy Nair is backstage with The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society. Danielson says things haven't been going well... in fighting and lack of team work has cost the team and they are 6th in the league. Danielson says this is not good enough... and he recognises that he is partly to blame for this... he tells Eddie Kingston he knows the two of them will never like each other, and he's not asking Eddie to be friends... or change who he is... but for the team and only for the team can they put their differences aside in an effort to climb up the league... Kingston doesn't want to do it, but Jon Moxley whispers something to him... Kingston looks at their team mates Wheeler Yuta, Riho, Hikaru Shida and Serena Deeb and he says he's going to do it for them, not for Danielson. "Yes" says Danielson. 54 v AEW WORLD TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIP The Acclaimed & 'Daddy Ass' Billy Gunn (champions) v Dark Order A decent match that perhaps wasn't as well received by the crowd than it should have been. The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass made defence number eleven of the World Trios Championship in 9:35 when Billy Gunn pinned Alex Reynolds with a Fameasser. 49 Evil Uno suffered a fractured cheek bone. Bowens benefitted from public support. Caster benefitted from being flavour of the month and public support. Renee Paquette is backstage with Adam Copeland. Copeland announces he is ending the Cope Open... it served it's purpose... it got him back up the rankings to get another match with Christian Cage and he is looking forward to Revolution next week when he faces Cage and Daniel Garcia in a three way for the TNT Championship. 62 v AEW LEAGUE Team Swerve (Rosemary) v Timeless Ensemble ('Timeless' Toni Storm (Women's World champion, with Luther)) A decent match even though it didn't have any particular stand out moments... the Women's World champion took the win and another three points for her team in 9:09 by pinfall with a Storm Zero. 52 Alex Marvez is backstage and he is with Jake 'The Snake' Roberts and Jack Parry. Marvez asks Perry if he is alligning himself with The Snake. Jake Roberts answers, saying that he has... Parry knows that to become a legend you have to do whatever it takes and that is where The Snake and The Anaconda (as he calls Parry) both have the same belief... and some time soon... they will strike. 43 v Roderick Strong & Wardlow (with The Kingdom) v Orange Cassidy (International champion) & ??? Orange Cassidy has ran out of his Best Friends... but has he managed to find a partner? Roderick Strong & Wardlow (with The Kingdom) v Orange Cassidy (International champion) & Nick Nemeth He sure has and the crowd go wild as Nick Nemeth makes his in ring AEW debut. It's a good one in a good match and a winning debut, though it was Orange Cassidy who really stood out. Nemeth picked up the win in 12:52, pinning Wardlow with a Zig Zag. 64 Cassidy out performed every one else (73, next best Strong 59). Cassidy benefitted from a hot new move. After a commercial break for satsumas, MJF and Will Ospreay are in the ring, mics in hand. When the crowd finally calms down, MJF says that Will Ospreay claims he is the aerial assassin... but he can't kill somebody who won't die... Ospreay responds by MJF claims he is better than you... but you aren't better than me bruv... The two stare down at each other, their Revolution match is hotly anticipated and could be one for the ages... neither man gives an inch though they are respectful of each other. 72 MJF was good. v AEW LEAGUE Black Lotus (Adam Copeland & Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis)) v The Golden Lion Club (Lucha Brothers, with Alex Abrahantes) A great match and one that was poised to go either way... until another injury, the third of the night. This time it was Adam Copeland to get hurt, and how much pain he looked in, it looks serious. This unfortunate turn forced Takeshita effectively into a handicap match and while he put up a courageous fight, the former World Tag Team champions were too much for him, Fénix pinning him in 17:15 after an Assisted Fear Factor. 71 - match of the night Adam Copeland sustained a broken tail bone. Penta seemed off his game. Fénix out performed everyone else (85, next best Takeshita and Penta 73). Takeshita benefitted from being flavour of the month. 24. That was your last post Dawn unless I've missed something. I'm just about to start Dynamite, so you're just in time for me to put Toni Storm in Saraya's place.
