  6. PRE SHOW Action Andretti beat Dralistico in 7:30 by pinfall. 52 Collision Saturday, week 2, January 2024 Sam's Town Las Vegas, Sunrise Manor, Nevada (6,000) capacity) We start in the backstage corridors where two members of The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society are standing with Blackpool Combat Club stablemates Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson say it's Saturday night, it's alright for fighting and we're ready for a fight. 62 v AEW LEAGUE The Spooky Club (Abadon & Julia Hart (TBS champion) v Team Swerve (Tenille Dashwood & Rosemary) The first action and first league match of the night sees two debuts as Tenille Dashwood and Rosemary become All Elite as members of Team Swerve. The two were both impressive in their debuts as Abadon struggled to keep up with the others. Rosemary beat Abadon in 10:37 by pinfall with a Red Wedding. 48 Tenille Dashwood debuted with an Old School Heel gimmick, rated awful. Rosemary debuted with a Demon Assassin gimmick, rated great. Following a commercial break we return backstage to see a brawl already going between Best Friends and Orange Cassidy. With Adam Cole's injury and Danhausen helping best friends sides are even and so is the brawl until Wardlow becomes the difference maker and lays out all of Best Friends himself. 53 v OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND 'The Machine' Brian Cage (with Prince Nana) v Evil Uno A sub par match and a sub par performance from Cage, although the crowd were still into and Cage still managed to progress to the second round. His win came in 9:04 by pinfall with a Weapon X. 46 Deonna Purrazzo is sitting down with Renee Paquette. Deonna tells Renee about her history with Timeless Toni Storm, talking how they rose through the indies together and even lived together. She then asks what has happened to the real Toni Storm, the Toni she knew... the Toni that was her friend... before showing and revealing one of a matching ankle tattoo and finishing by telling Toni to turn back to be the real Toni. 52 v AEW LEAGUE Team WooItsNathan (Diamanté) v The Golden Lion Club (Athena) Diamanté was off her game as Athena comfortably won a poor match in 8:35 by pinfall with a Top Rope Stunner. 49 Athena far outperformed Diamanté 58-37 Timeless Ensemble are backstage where they talk about their first league match on Dynamite. The Timeless one takes over and the screen goes black and white, as the Women's World champion say it is just a stumble, that out of adversity comes opportunity and it's chins up, chests and tits out and watch for the shoes. Her team mates look at Toni Storm like she's come from another planet, though they humour her and Ricky Starks finishes by saying next time they will get their first three points. 68 v Daniel Garcia v Mark Briscoe Two men who recently fought in the Continental Classic met in one on one action. The match was pretty decent and even despite Briscoe's eye injury though it was Garcia who won in 11:23 by submission with a Sharpshooter. 53 Prince Nana is backstage with The Mogul Embassy minus Swerve Strickland. Nana says The Machine was dominant against Evil Uno earlier and their focus is moving to Revolution where they want to take the World Trios Championship from The Acclaimed. 35 v AEW LEAGUE TV Network (Johnny TV (with Taya Valkyrie), Matt Cardona & Will Opsreay) v The Peak of Perfection ('Switchblade' Jay White, Killswitch (with Christian Cage) & Wardlow) More debuts as Cardona and Ospreay become All Elite with Ospreay getting a really good reaction from the fans. He looked good, but ultimately Wardlow proved to be the difference again as he made it two for two for The Peak of Perfection in 10:41 when he pinned Johnny TV with a Powerbomb Symphony. 55 Matt Cardona debuted with an Indy God gimmick, rated poor. An angry Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara are backstage. They are angry at Don Callis and his family for costing them the World Tag Team championship match against Ricky Starks and Big Bill and also, in Jericho's words, "because Don Callis is a dick". 65 v FTR v The Kings of The Black Throne (with Buddy Matthews & Julia Hart) A very good tag team match even though Malakai Black had an off night. FTR were close to winning a couple of times and were setting up for a Big Rig on Black only to be distracted by both Buddy Matthews and Julia Hart, which allowed Black to make a tag to Brody King who promptly nailed Cash Wheeler with a Dante's Inferno in 16:04 to score the pinfall. 65 Adam Cole is backstage in his wheelchair, being pushed by Wardlow. They are about to leave the arena when Cole turns to the camera, fake cries and mocks MJF for being at home... before advising him to stay there unless he wants to sign his own death warrant. 65 v AEW LEAGUE Black Lotus (Adam Copeland, Dustin Rhodes & Konosuke Takeshita (with Don Callis) v The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society (Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston (Continental Classic champion) A good match and proved to be the best of the night. Dustin Rhodes proved to be the weak link in the match and he was there prone in the middle of the ring, beaten and primed to be finished off only for the feud between Bryan Danielson and Eddie Kingston to blow up in the ring. The two initially started arguing about who was going to put Rhodes away... then the two started to trade blows... this prompted Moxley to rush into the ring to seperate the two as Copeland and Takeshita were recovering on the arena floor... Moxley for once being peacemaker managed to settle Danielson and Kingston down... only for the bell to ring and 'The Dapper Yapper' Justin Roberts to announce the time limit had expired and the match was a draw. One point each for the teams and a fuming Moxley... who then let Danielson and Kingston fight some more. It seems like @PH71 has some work to do to get his male part of the team on the same page. 72 - match of the night Dustin Rhodes performed far worse than the others (50, next best Copeland 66). Show rating: 68 AEW increased popularity in 12 regions. Attendance: 3,632 TV rating: 0.95 (719,769 viewers and 1,016,520 overall) QUICK RESULTS Black Lotus versus The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society ended in a time limit draw (League match) The Kings of The Black Throne beat FTR The Peak of Perfection beat TV Network (League match) Daniel Garcia beat Mark Briscoe Athena beat Diamanté (League match) Brian Cage beat Evil Uno in Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round Team Swerve beat The Spooky Club (League match)
  7. @christmas_ape I've had to replace Emi Sakura in your women's tag team match with Julia Hart in your League match on Collision as Sakura is away working for Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling. @Wrestling Machine Juice Robinson is currently injured so Dustin Rhodes will have to compete in the trios match.
  8. NEWS Mark Briscoe has sustained a bruised eye socket working elsewhere. He will work through the injury though it will affect him for 20 days. Pac underwent surgery on his torn quadricep but complications mean his return has gone from 3 months 2 weeks to 1 year 1 month. Max Caster, Matt Menard and Bryan Danielson returned clean drug tests at Collision last week. Taya Valkyrie, Rey Fénix, Wardlow and Dustin Rhodes returned clean drug tests at the Dynamite and Rampage tapings. Rosemary, Tenille Dashwood and Nick Nemeth have signed a 2 year deal with AEW. Tessa Blanchard has signed a 1 year deal with AEW. AEW has signed deals to broadcast Collision on MVStv (Mexico, 2 years), ABEMA (Japan, 2 years) and TNT Serie (Central Europe, 1 year). Mustafa Ali has won the GCW World Championship, defeating Blake Christian. Erkan Sulcani has won the GWF Berlin Championship for the fourth time, defeating Crowchester. Faby has won the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, defeating Giulia. Kevin Blackwood has got engaged to somebody outside the wrestling business.
  9. Rosemary, Nick Nemeth, Tessa Blanchard and Emma have signed before Collision. That leaves just Trinity/Naomi still to sign.
  10. PRE SHOW Gravity beat Ryan Nemeth by pinfall. 34 Dynamite Wednesday, week 2, January 2004 Walter Pyramid, Long Beach, California (4,000 capacity) v AEW LEAGUE Team WooItsNathan (Kip Sabian & The Butcher, with Penelope Ford) v The Peak of Perfection (Killswitch & Wardlow) Our opening action of the night is the opening match in the brand new All Elite Wrestling League. This match was dominated by The Peak of Perfection. The Butcher withstood some of Killswitch and Wardlow's onslaught, but Sabian spent all his time either running around the ring or being thrown around in it. The win came for Peak of Perfection in 6:58 when Wardlow pinned Sabian with a Powerbomb Symphony. 48 After a commercial break, Adam Cole leads Undisputed Kingdom to the ring, except for Wardlow who has stayed in the ring after the opening match. He laughs at MJF again, laughs at him being the Devil when it was Adam Cole all along and he laughs at being his friend. He lays out the plans for the Undisputed Kingdom going forwards... The Kingdom are going to be Ring of Honor World Tag Team champions for a long, long time... Roderick Strong has his eyes set on Orange Cassidy's International Championship while the war dog himself Wardlow is going to be the next World champion and neither he nor Wardlow cares if he beats Samoa Joe, Adam Page or Swerve Strickland. 55| Adam Cole looked good and benefitted from having a hot catchphrase. v TBS CHAMPIONSHIP Julia Hart (champion, with Brody King) v Red Velvet There was little heat and terrible wrestling as Hart retained in 7:54 by submission with a Hartless to make defence number 5 of the title. 27 The bout dragged in the middle. Julia Hart was really off her game. Jim Ross conducts a sit down interview with the World Tag Team champions Big Bill and Ricky Starks and their soon to be likely challengers Darby Allin and The Icon that is Sting. Ricky Starks runs his mouth like Ricky Starks does while Allin rises to him and gives him some back. Big Bill and Sting remain calm during the interview and it ends with Starks saying they will spoil Sting's retirement party and remain the champions. 74 All five men performed well. v AEW LEAGUE The Spooky Club (Sting, Malakai Black (with Julia Hart) & Satnam Singh (with Sonjay Dutt)) v The Golden Lion Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Lucha Brothers (with Alex Abrahantes)) Rey Fénix performed superbly well, outshining his contempories. At the other end, Satnam Singh struggled to keep up with the others. The match was decent and ended when Castagnoli pinned the giant Singh in 10:08 following an assisted Neutralizer. 62 Fénix's performance was 78 and Singh's was 28. Renee Paquette is backstage with Jamie Hayter, who's appearance after a long time out injured draws a big cheer from the crowd. Hayter says she's healed, she haytes again and is going to win back her Women's World Championship. 64 v INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Orange Cassidy (champion) v John Silver A decent match, perhaps better than some expected, saw Cassidy overcoming the challenger in 11:37 by pinfall with a Beach Break. Cassidy makes defence number seven. 68 Orange Cassidy benefitted from having a hot new move. Swerve Strickland comes to the ring and calls out 'Hangman' Adam Page. Page responds and climbs into the ring. Swerve asks Page how can he take him serious as a World Championship contender when Page can't even beat Kyle Fletcher. Page gets irate and gets in Swerve's face but before the two come to blows, they are interrupted by Samoa Joe's music and the World champion walks to the ring. He gets a mic and tells Swerve and Hangman that he's been speaking to the championship committee... next week Swerve Strickland will face somebody of Adam Page's choosing while Adam Page will fight somebody of Swerve Strickland's choosing... Swerve and Page don't look too happy but Joe hasn't finished... Joe says next week he will defend the World Championship (though doesn't say who against) and then the following week Strickland and Page will meet in a number one contender match with the winner facing Joe at Revolution... that is somebody Swerve and Page do like as the crowd goes nuts. 72 v AEW LEAGUE TV Network (Taya Valkyrie) v The Bryan Danielson Appreciation Society (Hikaru Shida) Another decent match, Shida got the better of Taya in 11:43 by submission with a Full Metal Muffler. 57 Shida outperformed Taya 57-44 Former World champion MJF is seen in his luxurious home. He says he is very, very, pissed off. He talks about never having a proper friend in the past, one he could trust and rely on and one he liked to hang around with. He admits that is largely down to who he was... he says he is very, very pissed off because when he found what he thought was a proper friend he could trust and rely on turned out to be a Devil. MJF says he's going to take out the Undisputed Kingdom one by one when he returns... until he takes out the Devil himself Adam Cole. 85 v Jeff Hardy (with Matt Hardy) v Miro A decent match with Hardy's speed and experience enabling him to thwart much of Miro's offence... for a while. Miro's power game eventually told and he won in 9:17 by submission with Game Over. 60 Jeff Hardy was really off his game as Miro massively outperformed him 68-46 Swerve Strickland is backstage with an unlikely team mate Samoa Joe. He's also with Mike Santana and somebody known as Sasha Banks. He says this is Team Swerve, he says he has new team mates in Santana and Mercedes Moné and the promise of more top wrestlers to come, he sees them winning the first ever AEW League. Joe says he likes winning and likes being a champion. Strickland isn't too pleased by the last comment as Moné tells them both they have when they are competing in the League, they have to focus on the League. 68 v AEW League Timeless Ensemble (Darby Allin) v Black Lotus (Adam Copeland) A good match that was even throughout and could easily have gone either way... and it nearly went the third way to the twenty minute time limit as we entered the final minute of the bout... only for Copeland to land a quick Spear and turn Allin inside out to take the match in 19:26 by pinfall. 71 - match of the night Show rating: 71 AEW increased popularity in 24 regions. Attendance: 3,441 TV rating: 1.12 (845,688 viewers and 1,465,870 overall) QUICK RESULTS Adam Copeland beat Darby Allin (League match) Miro beat Jeff Hardy Hikaru Shida beat Taya Valkyrie (League match) Orange Cassidy beat John Silver to retain the International Championship The Golden Lion Club beat The Spooky Club (League match) Julia Hart beat Red Velvet to retain the TBS Championship The Peak of Perfection beat Team WooItsNathan (League match)
  11. Rampage Wednesday, week 2, January 2024 Broadcast on Friday, week 2, January 2024 Walter Pyramid, Long Beach, California (4,000 capacity) Stu Grayson starts the show in the backstage interview area. He looks psyched up, saying tonight he is going to kick Hook's ass and win the FTW Championship. 32 Gates of Agony (with Prince Nana) v Private Party Isiah Kassidy was head and shoulders above everyone else in a poor match, but he failed to save his team from defeat as Gates of Agony won in 11:05 when Toa Liona pinned Kassidy with a Samoan Spike. 38 Ethan Page is now in the backstage interview area. He says he is trying to get noticed in a very deep roster in AEW and all he is going to need is one chance to do it. 41 OWEN HART FOUNDATION WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Riho v Penelope Ford (with Kip Sabian) In a second poor match, Riho comfortably got the better of Ford in 8:14 by pinfall with a Jumping Knee Attack. 46 Riho seemed off her game but still outperformed Ford 51-35 Hook is now backstage and he is with Renee Paquette. As usual he doesn't say much at all, he's more interested in eating a large bag of crisps/chips (delete depending which side of the Atlantic you live on), simply saying "let's go" at the end of the segment. OWEN HART FOUNDATION MEN'S TOURNAMENT FIRST ROUND Mike Santana v Dustin Rhodes The first decent match up of the night saw Rhodes winning despite Santana having more of the match. Dustin advanced in 11:26 by pinfall with a Cross Rhodes. 55 - match of the night We are now backstage with Renee Paquette and the former Women's World champion Thunder Rosa. Renee asks Rosa how she is. Rosa answers by saying she is back, feels better than ever and can't wait to get back in the ring. 61 v FTW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Hardcore match Hook (champion) v Stu Grayson A decent crowd but some sub par action despite plenty of weapons and Hook suplexes. Hook won in 12:07 by submission with a Redrum. Hook makes defence number 2 of his title. 46 Hook outperformed Grayson 48-38 Show rating: 50 Attendance: 3,441 TV rating: 0.05 (39,413 viewers and 63,671 total) QUICK RESULTS Hook beat Stu Grayson to retain the FTW World Championship Dustin Rhodes beat Mike Santana in Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament First Round Riho beat Penelope Ford in Owen Hart Foundation Women's Tournament First Round The Gates of Agony beat Private Party
  12. @stratusfaction Neither Trinity/Naomi nor Tessa Blanchard have signed in time for Dynamite. I'm going to have to go with Taya Valkyrie as she is currently your only female in your team. @WooItsNathan As you have not sent in your selections, Kip Sabian and The Butcher are your men's tag competitors by default with Bandido out injured and Diamanté has been randomly selected for the women's singles. Time to work on the shows...
  13. Unless Trinity signs in the next day game time, I'll have give you Taya. Tessa hasn't yet signed either. Game day is Tuesday, I'm about to pre book the matches then press continue. I'll let you know in minutes.
  14. I hope you have a full and speedy recovery @angeldelayette A dream match from the era... England reaching the Euro 96 final they hosted would have been dreamland... but that's another sport.

TBA indicates selections yet to be made ??? indicates selections made by private message Remember deadline for selections is 18:00 UK 13:00 Eastern USA tomorrow.
  16. I've also updated the team lists on page 4. Only @WooItsNathan still to choose their final two.
  17. @Martel123@christmas_ape@WooItsNathan@DinoKea@stratusfaction@PH71@Dawn@KyTeran@Wrestling Machine Here are the fixtures for week 1 of the league. The time is now 16:40 in the UK (so 11:40 Eastern US?). Please send me your selections for the first fixtures. It's your choice whether you send me them on the board or by PM, it all depends if you want your opponent to know who you've selected or not. The deadline for selections is 18:00 UK time (13:00 Eastern US?) on Friday. Any selections not made, I will select your competitors for you using a random number generator. I aim to have Dynamite and Rampage (no league fixtures) on Friday and aim to do Collision and set up the next round of fixtures at the weekend.
  18. Nice @Wrestling Machine I won't be having one though. I'm neutral.
  19. Thank you @christmas_ape Just you now @WooItsNathan please send me your last two picks. I have four nights off from Thursday and won't be with my children much so it's the ideal time to get the dynasty started in earnest and the league up and running. I'm going to republish the week 1 fixtures tomorrow and set the deadline for selections for the first two rounds of matches. If I haven't had your last two picks @WooItsNathan you'll have to start with a team of five and add two when you send me the picks.
  20. Top job that @stratusfaction you can be my deputy. @Dawn Mariah May it is. Nice one. @christmas_ape and @WooItsNathan I still need your final two picks, one male and one female. Then we can get on with your selections for the first week of fixtures. I will be having much stricter time frames for selections to come in for matches so I can get on with the league and dynasty. It will probably be 2-3 days max, though I'll give full details when the time comes.
