Scottie
So I've thought Niko Soldo needed a redo for a while, but I don't think my attempt has quite caught it. Any advice? I think the eyes are a problem, but I don't think I can get them any lighter. http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/af77/gammadiary/WMMA%20Renders/NikoSoldoBody.png
Blackman
Looks like Miesha Tate, is that what you were going for? Cuz it's pretty spot-on (except for the gazongas)! I already reduce the breasts each time by 100%, damnit. It's definitely not my intention and I'll try to fix it, but it's hard to make some of those clothes fit to 'normal' women. Wasn't going for the Tate-look, just the look of her original render and changed some things. @ Scottie: I don't know. It's obviously a nice render and the attributes look exactly like him, except for the facial hair. He also got the seasoned warrior look going for him, so that's fine. Maybe the nose a little less broad? But it might indeed be the facial hair. The eyes are fine imo. If you adjust that a little I'd definitely take him as an alternate render, 'cuz I love the fighter. Played enough SIGMA to love the sh*t out of that guy.
prw18
Nice job Scottie. I'll use it in my game for sure.
Iceisle
That Niko Soldo is pretty much spot on, if you ask me. Looks awesome in-game. I can't think of any way to improve it. He's one of the fighters who most desperately needed a re-render, too. No offense to the creator of the original render of course, because it's obviously one of the earlier ones, and still better than I could do. Scottie
Thanks for the advice, guys. I'll definitely take some of that on board, Blackman. The facial hair is a bit tough because I don't have access to the vertical stripe the original render had, and the soulpatch probably doesn't match the character. I'll try to find something that works a bit better. Other than that, the reason the original Soldo was so cool is because of the icy expression he had, which I've struggled to capture on my version. It has gravitated between friendly looking like the one I posted, to a bit of a stock standard glare. I'll do some work on that.
Scottie
After a bit of playing around with a few different renders on top of each other in Photoshop, this is what I came up with for him. I realise it looks a little bit weird on the right hand side, but I just forgot to delete the extra hair on the second guy which I can do later. http://i995.photobucket.com/albums/af77/gammadiary/SoldoBody.png
prw18
I liked it with the beard but this is closer to the original. Either way I would love to get the face so I can put it in my game. Well done sir.

Blackman
This one seems pretty close to the original indeed. Interesting approach btw to get several renders on top of each other. Why was it necessary to do that? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Scottie
I actually think the beard looks ****ing badass on him, but I guess it might not fit the character.
Blackman
Oh I see. And indeed, beards are badass, but it's out of character like Scottie says.

I'll be using that one as an alternate and switching to it in-game from time to time. Afroduck
You should use the bearded ones as an ager.I think it would be kinda cool to see him with the strip in his twenties then a fuller beard in his thirties
prw18
<p>@Iceisle - Thanks for uploading that face pic.</p><p> </p><p> @Scottie - I really like the render with the moustache and goatee as well. I don't think it's such a bad thing to change things up a bit when doing a re-render, especially if it fits the character. As long as you get the body type and tattoos I think the rest is variable.</p>
