SmackDown! begins with The Undertaker making his way to the ring and proclaiming that this Sunday at Wrestlemania he will defeat RAW’s John Cena in the inter-promotional match and remain undefeated at Wrestlemania. Rey Mysterio then interrupts The Undertaker and says that he will also be victorious this Sunday at Wrestlemania when he defeats William Regal in his inter-promotional bout. Rey also says that he will be victorious in tonight’s non-title main event against World Champion Jack Swagger, who will be focused on retaining his World title this Sunday in the main event of Wrestlemania against the winner of the Royal Rumble, Randy Orton.

The World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger then comes to the ring and says that he is confident that he will beat Rey Mysterio tonight in their non-title main event. The Undertaker leaves the ring, uninterested in Jack Swagger or Rey Mysterio, and choosing to leave to prepare for his match with John Cena this Sunday at Wrestlemania. Swagger tells Rey that he agrees with Regal’s principles that the traditional submission wrestling style is better than Rey’s high-flying style, and that Regal will prove it when he beats Rey this Sunday at Wrestlemania and Swagger will also prove it by making Rey tap out tonight. Randy Orton then rushes to the ring and hits Swagger with an RKO, the Royal Rumble winner getting an upper-hand on the World Champion before their World title match in the main event of Wrestlemania this Sunday.

Rating: A*

The WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett comes to the ring and declares that he will beat both Dolph Ziggler and Ezekiel Jackson in the Triple Threat match this Sunday at Wrestlemania to successfully retain his title.

Rating: D-

Kane comes to the ring and says that this Sunday at Wrestlemania he and the Big Show will regain their WWE Tag Team Championships from David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. However, before Kane can say anything else Drew McIntyre rushes to the ring and hits Kane with a Low Blow followed by a Futureshock DDT. McIntyre picks up the microphone and says that this attack is a message to RAW’s John Morrison of how badly he will hurt him in their inter-promotional contest this Sunday at Wrestlemania.

Rating: C+

Drew McIntyre then picks up Kane to hit another Future-Shock DDT on him and send a further message to John Morrison before their inter-promotional match at Wrestlemania this Sunday but he is soon stopped by Big Show rushing to the ring in aid of his tag team partner. McIntyre flees the ring and Big Show helps his partner to his feet. Big Show then picks up the microphone and says that this minor setback won’t stop he and Kane from beating David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus this Sunday at Wrestlemania to regain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Rating: C-

“Dashing” Cody Rhodes comes to the ring and says that it’s a travesty that he will not be competing this Sunday at Wrestlemania as he is the most naturally sound athlete on SmackDown! <em>We cut backstage to see Scott Stanford standing by with the leader of the New Nexus, CM Punk. Stanford asks Punk if he feels confident heading into his WWE Championship match with The Miz later tonight. Punk says that he will bring the WWE Championship to The New Nexus, along with Michael McGuillicutty and David Otunga retaining their titles against Kane and the Big Show later tonight to keep the WWE Tag Team Championships in the New Nexus. The Miz, the reigning WWE Champion, then comes up to Punk and says that he has proved that he is the best man to hold the WWE title by defending it every week on RAW for the past four weeks, and that tonight he will make his greatest Championship defence yet when he beats CM Punk on the Grandest Stage of all to remain the WWE Champion.</em></p><p>

<em>We cut to another area backstage to find John Cena slowly walking downstairs to the basement of the arena. It is very dark, and when Cena gets to the bottom of the stairs he sees The Undertaker preparing for their inter-promotional match later in his own environment. Undertaker looks shocked that Cena has the audacity to find him, and Cena tells Undertaker that this all started at the Royal Rumble when Cena came to warn Undertaker of the threat that the New Nexus posed in the Royal Rumble match. The situation between the pair then escalated at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View when Undertaker took offence to Cena wishing him luck in the Elimination Chamber match, and led to Undertaker costing Cena the WWE Championship later that night. Cena says that this provoked Cena to cost Undertaker the World title in the match that he originally wished him luck in, and that the situation will end tonight when Cena defeats Undertaker and ends the legendary undefeated streak of the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. <p>I don't mind who takes the prize, but one of you need to pick the challenger for the WWE Championship at the upcoming Over The Limit Pay-Per-View! Please PM me your choice as soon as possible. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Monday, Week 1, April, 2011</strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://assets.huluim.com/shows/key_art_wwe_monday_night_raw.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW: </p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>WWE Championship: CM Punk © versus The Miz</strong></p><p>

Just one night after winning the WWE Championship from The Miz at Wrestlemania 27, the leader of the New Nexus must defend his newly won gold on RAW as The Miz invokes his contractually obligated rematch clause. The loudmouth Miz will be looking to win back the Championship and go on to defend it at the next Pay-Per-View, Extreme Rules.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>WWE United States Championship: Primo © versus Goldust</strong></p><p>

Last night at Wrestlemania 27 Primo won his first singles Championship in the WWE as he defeated Daniel Bryan to become the new United States Champion. He now must also defend his new title just twenty-four hours after winning it against the “Bizarre One” Goldust.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>R-Truth versus William Regal</strong></p><p>

At Wrestlemania 27 William Regal pulled off perhaps the greatest victory of his long and illustrious career as he defeated Rey Mysterio in an inter-promotional match. Regal will be looking to continue his momentum on RAW as he faces R-Truth. Truth will also be looking to gain momentum after being left off of the Wrestlemania card.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>David Hart Smith versus Alex Riley</strong></p><p>

The night after Wrestlemania traditionally sees new beginnings for bright new Superstars, and both David Hart Smith and Alex Riley fit into this category. What will life for Alex Riley look like on RAW now that The Miz seemingly no longer requires his services?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Mark Henry versus Sheamus</strong></p><p>

Mark Henry and Sheamus are two other men who did not receive the privilege and honour of competing at Wrestlemania last night. These two angry men will collide tonight on Monday Night RAW, with both men looking to insert themselves into the WWE Championship picture.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Gail Kim versus Alicia Fox</strong></p><p>

Kelly Kelly defeated Maryse and former Champion Natalya in a Triple Threat match last night at Wrestlemania to become the new WWE Divas Champion. With a new Champion comes new challengers, and Kim and Fox will both want to stake their claims for a Championship opportunity tonight on RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

Also on RAW the challenger for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules will be announced, as well as the stipulation in which the WWE Championship match will take place in three weeks time at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View.</p><p> </p><p>

We will also hear from John Cena following his loss last night at Wrestlemania 27 to SmackDown!’s Undertaker. Cena promised to end the legendary undefeated streak of the Undertaker, but failed to do so. What will Cena focus his attentions on now?</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

Quick Picks:</p><p>

WWE Championship: CM Punk © versus The Miz</p><p>

WWE United States Championship: Primo © versus Goldust</p><p>

R-Truth versus William Regal</p><p>

David Hart Smith versus Alex Riley</p><p>

Mark Henry versus Sheamus</p><p>

Gail Kim versus Alicia Fox</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I unfortunately was slacking a little lately with the predictions, because of several things both private and with my own diary (some future plans were put in motion basically), and in particular because I was and am so thrilled with crayon's fictionplus webby.
