<strong>Pre-Show: Kane versus Ur Hero</strong></p><p>

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kane defeated Ur Hero in 18:01 by pinfall with a Choke Slam.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Friday Night SmackDown! begins with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio coming to the ring. Del Rio says that at Over the Limit he will defeat Randy Orton to retain his World title. Randy Orton then joins Del Rio in the ring and says that not only will he win the World title from Del Rio at Over the Limit, but he will also defeat him in tonight’s main event as Orton teams with the Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson to face Alberto Del Rio and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes in tag team action. Del Rio says that his team is comprised of the World Champion and the Number One Contender to the Intercontinental title at Over the Limit, Cody Rhodes, and that his team will therefore be victorious tonight.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: B+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>“Dashing” Cody Rhodes then comes to the ring and thanks Alberto Del Rio for his compliment, and says that he is sure that Del Rio will retain his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at Over the Limit, just as Rhodes will defeat Ezekiel Jackson at Over the Limit to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Ezekiel Jackson, the reigning Intercontinental Champion, then joins Del Rio, Rhodes and Orton in the ring and says that in tonight’s tag team main event, he and Randy Orton will be victorious over Del Rio and Rhodes.</em></p><p>

<em>Jack Swagger comes to the ring with Dolph Ziggler. Swagger says that at Over the Limit he will defeat the Big Show and go one step closer to getting a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. <strong>Rating: B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly comes to the ring and says that at Over the Limit she will defeat both Maryse and Natalya of Monday Night RAW in a Triple Threat match to retain her title. Layla then rushes to the ring and kicks Kelly in the gut before booting her in the face, leaving the Divas Champion seemingly unconscious in the centre of the ring.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: C-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Kofi Kingston comes to the ring and declares that at Over the Limit he will become a WWE Tag Team Champion as he and Evan Bourne challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Just as last week, the Undertaker then comes to the ring and with an evil look in his eyes, and proceeds to decimate Kingston, hitting him with a lethal clothesline before picking him up and delivering a Last Ride Powerbomb. Kingston seems to be in severe pain after another attack from the Phenom, clearly jealous of Kingston’s upcoming appearance and match at Over the Limit.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: A</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Beth Phoenix and Kaitlyn versus Layla and Michelle McCool</strong></p><p>

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Kaitlyn and Beth Phoenix defeated Team LayCool in 8:07 when Beth Phoenix defeated Michelle McCool by pinfall with a Glam Slam.</p><p>

<em>God comes to the ring and says that even though he lost to Jack Swagger last night on WWE Superstars for the second week in a row, he believes that he destined to become a Champion and it won’t be long before his is dominating Friday Night SmackDown! God seems determined to be a success and certainly has the power with which to do so.</em></p><p>

In an extremely short match, Drew McIntyre defeated JTG in 5:19 by pinfall with a Snap Double Underhook DDT.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: C</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Team LayCool, Layla and Michelle McCool, return to the ring following their loss to Beth Phoenix and Kaitlyn for the third week in a row earlier. Layla has a microphone and says that even though LayCool are able to attack the WWE Divas Champion every week, just as she did to Kelly Kelly earlier tonight, they have been unlucky in their tag team matches as of late. Kelly Kelly then comes to the ring with the Diva that she is mentoring, Rosa Mendes, and LayCool are quick to leave the ring and head to the back. Rosa then picks up the microphone and thanks Kelly for her help and tells her that she is confident that she will defeat both Maryse and Natalya in the Triple Threat match at Over the Limit to retain her WWE Divas Championship.</em></p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Evan Bourne

This Sunday at Over the Limit New Nexus Leader CM Punk will defend his WWE Championship against the United States Champion John Morrison. Over the Limit will also see Evan Bourne team with SmackDown!’s Kofi Kingston to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships, but first Punk will face Bourne in tonight’s non-title main event.

Triple H versus Justin Gabriel

The night after Wrestlemania saw Triple H make his triumphant return to Monday Night RAW, only to be suspended the week after by the Anonymous RAW General Manager for interfering in other people’s business. Tonight on RAW Triple H makes his return to competition as he wrestles his first match in 2011 against Justin Gabriel of the New Nexus, who he attacked on his last appearance on RAW.

R-Truth versus Ted DiBiase

R-Truth has been victorious in singles action on Monday Night RAW for the past five weeks running, and looks to continue his impressive winning streak tonight as he faces Ted DiBiase. These two have not competed in a singles match together before, but were both involved in the pre-show Battle Royal at Wrestlemania, which was ultimately won by God.

The Miz versus Alex Riley

Tonight sees The Miz face his former protégé Alex Riley. Riley burst into the WWE as The Miz’s apprentice but Miz ditched Riley just before he lost his WWE Championship to CM Punk at Wrestlemania. This is a rematch from last week’s RAW, which saw The Miz get the victory over Riley. The Miz is undefeated since losing his rematch with CM Punk the night after Wrestlemania and will hope to win again here.

Eve versus Tamina

This is another rematch from last week’s edition of Monday Night RAW which saw Eve use her athletic prowess to defeat the much larger and powerful Tamina. Eve has not lost a singles match since losing to Maryse on an episode of Superstars in February and will be hoping to gain another all-important victory tonight in the hopes of eventually receiving a Championship opportunity at Kelly Kelly’s Divas title.

Gail Kim versus Brie Bella

For the past several weeks on Monday Night RAW Brie Bella has been interfering in the business of Natalya, distracting her on many circumstances allowing Maryse to attack the former Divas Champion. Tonight on RAW Brie faces Gail Kim in a singles match for the first time in 2011, after Brie and her Sister Nikki successfully defeated Gail Kim and Eve in tag team action three weeks ago on Monday Night RAW.

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from both Champion and Challenger heading into this Sunday’s WWE Championship match at Over the Limit as New Nexus Leader and reigning WWE Champion CM Punk and United States Champion John Morrison will discuss their preparations for Sunday. We will also hear from both Daniel Bryan and Primo before their match at Over the Limit.

Also at Over the Limit Evan Bourne will team with SmackDown!’s Kofi Kingston to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty for the WWE Tag Team Championships. New Nexus members Otunga and McGuillicutty will both be on RAW tonight as will Evan Bourne as he will take on WWE Champion and New Nexus Leader CM Punk in tonight’s non-title main event, just six days before Punk defends the title against John Morrison, the United States Champion, at Over the Limit.

Last week on Monday Night RAW Mark Henry defeated William Regal, and it is believed that Mark Henry will also have a further challenge to Regal tonight on RAW. We will also learn who John Cena’s opponent at Over the Limit will be tonight on RAW following his victory over Ted DiBiase last week. Sheamus will also be on RAW tonight and will likely be an angry Celtic Warrior following his loss to R-Truth last week. With so many Superstars wanting to make a name for themselves, who will step up as Cena’s opponent this Sunday at Over the Limit?

At Over the Limit WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly will defend her title in a Triple Threat match against both Maryse and Natalya. Both Maryse and Natalya will be present on RAW tonight and Natalya will likely be angry at Maryse following her assault last week following a distraction from Brie Bella. Will Brie Bella get involved in tonight’s altercation between Maryse and Natlaya or will she be too focused on preparing for her match with Gail Kim? Kelly Kelly will not be on RAW tonight but will likely be watching knowing her title defence is just six days away.

Finally, we will feature an in-depth preview of the WWE Tag Team Championship match at Over the Limit this Sunday as we hear from David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus before they defend their titles against Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston in just six days time.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Champion CM Punk versus Evan Bourne

Triple H versus Justin Gabriel

R-Truth versus Ted DiBiase

The Miz versus Alex Riley

Eve versus Tamina

Gail Kim versus Brie Bella

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month).

Pre-Show: Vladimir Kozlov versus Husky Harris

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Husky Harris defeated Vladimir Kozlov in 17:55 by pinfall with a Standing Senton Splash. This was an impressive victory for the New Nexus member.

Match Rating: C

Monday Night RAW begins with WWE Champion and New Nexus Leader CM Punk coming to the ring. Punk says that this Sunday at Over the Limit he will retain his WWE Championship against United States Champion John Morrison and his fellow New Nexus members David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty will successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships against Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston. Punk then says that he will also defeat Evan Bourne in tonight’s non-title main event. Primo then joins CM Punk in the ring and proclaims that he will defeat Daniel Bryan in their match this Sunday at Over the Limit, and that Bryan and Morrison were lucky in their tag team victory over Punk and Primo in last weeks’ RAW tag team main event.

Rating: B+

Evan Bourne then joins Punk and Primo in the ring and tells the WWE Champion and New Nexus Leader that not only will he and Kofi Kingston defeat David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty at Over the Limit to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions, but Bourne will defeat Punk in tonight’s non-title main event. Bourne then tells Punk that he hopes United States Champion John Morrison defeats him on Sunday to become WWE Champion, and tells Primo that he will definitely be taught a lesson in wrestling by Daniel Bryan in their match this Sunday at Over the Limit. David Otunga then rushes to the ring and strikes Bourne across the skull with his tag team title belt, leaving him apparently unconscious prior to his main event match with CM Punk later tonight.

Rating: B

John Cena comes to the ring and says that he will be facing Sheamus this Sunday at Over the Limit as he continues his quest to regain the WWE Championship he has not held since the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View. Mark Henry then joins Cena in the ring and announces that he will also be in action this Sunday at Over the Limit as he will face William Regal in a rematch from last week’s RAW, which saw Henry get the all-important victory.

Rating: B

Natalya comes to the ring and declares that this Sunday at Over the Limit she will regain the WWE Divas Championship in the Triple Threat match also involving Maryse and the reigning Divas Champion Kelly Kelly. Before long, Brie Bella once again comes to the ring to distract Natalya for long enough for Maryse to sneak in the ring and plant Natalya with a viscious DDT, leaving Natalya potentially severely injured in the centre of the ring. Maryse and Brie Bella embrace before Maryse picks up the microphone and says that she will be the one leaving Over the Limit this Sunday as the new WWE Divas Champion.

Rating: C-

Michael McGuillicutty, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, comes to the ring and proclaims that he and fellow New Nexus member David Otunga will successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships against Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston this Sunday at Over the Limit, just as New Nexus Leader CM Punk will retain his WWE Championship successfully against United States Champion John Morrison. McGuillicutty also says that Punk will comfortably defeat Bourne in tonight’s non-title main event, especially after the assault Bourne received from Otunga earlier in the show.

Rating: C

R-Truth versus Ted DiBiase

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Ted DiBiase defeated R-Truth in 8:09 by pinfall with a Dream Street. Before this match R-Truth had won on RAW for five weeks in a row.

Long Island Iced Z Zack Ryder comes to the ring for another edition of Z! True Long Island Story. In this edition of the show Ryder insults Santino Marella, saying that he is nothing but a comedy act and his tag team partner Vladimir Kozlov may be impressive to look at, but has a brain the size of a walnut. Woo Woo Woo, You Know It.

Rating: B-

Brie Bella returns to the ring with her twin Sister Nikki and Brie says that after her win earlier tonight and her distracting Natalya before that she has already had a busy night, but she and Nikki want to introduce their new friend, who they are training to be as beautiful and deadly as they are. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

God versus Ur Hero

For the past three weeks in a row God has faced former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger on WWE Superstars, and although he won the first contest, he lost the next two. Tonight God hopes to get back to winning ways as he faces Ur Hero. Ur Hero has not won a match in the WWE on television since defeating Rey Mysterio on SmackDown! at the beginning of April in Rey’s final WWE match. Both of these men are relatively new members of the SmackDown! roster, with God making his debut in January on WWE Superstars in a losing effort to “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and Ur Hero making his WWE Debut two months later in March.

Evan Bourne versus William Regal

This Sunday at Over the Limit Evan Bourne will team with Kofi Kingston to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships, whilst William Regal will face Mark Henry this Sunday at Over the Limit, in a rematch from last week’s RAW, which saw Henry get the victory. Tonight Bourne will face Regal with both men looking to gain momentum heading into their all-important matches this Sunday at Over the Limit. How will Evan Bourne fair just three days after facing WWE Champion CM Punk in non-title action in the main event of Monday Night RAW? We’ll find out tonight on WWE Superstars. CM Punk will defend his WWE Championship this Sunday at Over the Limit against United States Champion John Morrison.

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will preview the upcoming WWE Intercontinental Championship match this Sunday at Over the Limit as “Dashing” Cody Rhodes prepares to challenge Ezekiel Jackson for the title, as well as show highlights of last week’s SmackDown! main event which saw Jackson team with Randy Orton to face Rhodes and the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in tag team action. At Over the Limit this Sunday Del Rio will defend the World title against Randy Orton. Tonight on WWE Superstars we will also learn the opposition that Albero Del Rio will face tomorrow night on Friday Night SmackDown! just two days before his match with Orton at Over the Limit. We will also preview the WWE Tag Team Championship match at Over the Limit tonight on WWE Superstars as David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus prepare to defend their titles against Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston.

Tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars will also preview the WWE Championship match this Sunday at Over the Limit which will see New Nexus Leader CM Punk defending his WWE Championship against United States Champion John Morrison. We will also preview Daniel Bryan’s upcoming match this Sunday at Over the Limit as he prepares to face Primo, as well as show highlights of RAW’s main event which saw CM Punk face Evan Bourne in non-title action, just six days before Bourne teams with Kofi Kingston to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty for the WWE Tag Team Championships at Over the Limit this Sunday. As well as being in action a few days ago on Monday Night RAW, Evan Bourne will also be competing tonight on WWE Superstars as he faces William Regal in singles action.

At Over the Limit Alberto Del Rio will defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the second time as he faces Randy Orton. Tonight on WWE Superstars we will preview the Championship bout as well as show highlights of Del Rio teaming with “Dashing” Cody Rhodes last week on SmackDown! to face Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson and Randy Orton in tag team action. Jackson will also be defending his title this Sunday at Over the Limit against Rhodes. If that wasn’t enough, tonight we will also learn who Alberto Del Rio’s opponent will be in tomorrow night’s Friday Night SmackDown! main event. Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston will also challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty for the WWE Tag Team Championships this Sunday at Over the Limit.

David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus have been the WWE Tag Team Champions since defeating Kane and Big Show for the titles at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View in February. Since then they have gone on to defend the titles twice, once against Kane and Big Show at Wrestlemania, and then again defeated Kane and Big Show at Extreme Rules in a Tag Team Dog Collar match in their second title defence. Tonight we will preview their third title defence this Sunday at Over the Limit as they will defend the titles against Evan Bourne and SmackDown!’s Kofi Kingston. This week on Monday Night RAW Evan Bourne faced New Nexus Leader and WWE Champion CM Punk in non-title action in RAW’s main event, just six days before Punk will defend his WWE Championship against United States Champion John Morrison this Sunday at Over the Limit.

Two other huge matches will also take place this Sunday at Over the Limit as Jack Swagger will face the Big Show with both men looking for a victory to propel them into the World Championship picture, with Swagger thus far not receiving a rematch for the title he lost in a Triple Threat match to Alberto Del Rio at Extreme Rules in a match also involving Christian. Another match this Sunday at Over the Limit will see Christian face Dolph Ziggler, with Dolph Ziggler in particular looking for a victory which will see him receive another opportunity to challenge for the Intercontinental title again. Both of these matches will be previewed tonight on WWE Superstars. The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio will also be defending his World title this Sunday at Over the Limit against Randy Orton.

Quick Picks:

God versus Ur Hero

Pre-Show: Kofi Kingston versus The Undertaker

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Kofi Kingston defeated The Undertaker in 17:35 by pinfall with a Trouble In Paradise. This is an impressive victory for Kingston heading into this Sunday at Over the Limit when he and Evan Bourne will challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships. This victory over the Undertaker also acts as a small measure of revenge for Kingston following Undertaker’s recent assaults of Kofi on Friday Night SmackDown! Kingston now heads into his non-title main event tomorrow night on SmackDown! against the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

Match Rating: B+

Evan Bourne versus William Regal

In an extremely short match, Evan Bourne defeated William Regal in 5:01 by pinfall with a Shooting Star Press. Just as Kingston before the show, Bourne also impressed here heading into this Sunday at Over the Limit where he and Kofi Kingston will challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships. William Regal will also be in action this Sunday at Over the Limit as he will face Mark Henry, attempting to reverse the result of their match on RAW last week in which Henry got the all-important victory.

Match Rating: C

We are treated to highlights of last week’s Friday Night SmackDown! main event as the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio teamed up with “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to defeat Randy Orton and the Intercontinental Champion Ezekiel Jackson in tag team action. We are then shown a preview of the World Heavyweight Championship match this Sunday at Over the Limit as Alberto Del Rio defends his World title against Randy Orton as well as being shown promotional material for Ezekiel Jackson’s Intercontinental title defence against Rhodes this Sunday at Over the Limit. It is also announced that tomorrow night’s SmackDown! main event will see Alberto Del Rio face Kofi Kingston in non-title action, just two days before Kingston teams with Evan Bourne at Over the Limit to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Rating: B

A highlight package is then shown of this week’s RAW main event which featured WWE Champion and New Nexus Leader CM Punk defeating Evan Bourne in non-title action. At Over the Limit Bourne will team with SmackDown!’s Kofi Kingston to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships whilst CM Punk will defend his WWE title against the reigning United States Champion John Morrison. Promotional material is also shown for Daniel Bryan’s match against Primo at Over the Limit on Sunday.

Rating: B-

An in-depth preview is shown promoting the upcoming World Heavyweight Championship match this Sunday at Over the Limit as Alberto Del Rio prepares to defend his World Heavyweight Championship for only the second time ever as he faces the venomous Viper Randy Orton. Promotional material is then aired for tomorrow night’s SmackDown! main event as Alberto Del Rio will face Kofi Kingston in non-title action just days before Kingston teams with RAW’s Evan Bourne at Over the Limit to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Rating: A

Promotional material airs for the upcoming WWE Tag Team Championship match at Over the Limit this Sunday as David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus prepare to make their third defence of the titles against the newfound team of Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston. Highlights are then shown of RAW’s main event which featured Evan Bourne taking on the WWE Champion and New Nexus Leader CM Punk in non-title action, and putting in a great effort despite ultimately falling to the Go To Sleep. At Over the Limit this Sunday CM Punk will defend his WWE Championship against United States Champion John Morrison.

Rating: B+

Further Over the Limit promotional material airs, this time featuring the match between Jack Swagger and Big Show, as well as the contest between Dolph Ziggler and Christian that will also take place this Sunday. Swagger is hoping to defeat the Big Show in order to have a chance at receiving a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship he lost at Extreme Rules to Alberto Del Rio in a Triple Threat match also involving Christian, whilst Ziggler and Christian are also in the hunt for Championship gold, and should have a superb and athletically sound bout this Sunday at Over the Limit.

Rating: B

God versus Ur Hero

In a match that had some good action and average heat, God defeated Ur Hero in 5:43 by pinfall with a God's Last Gift. This is an important victory for God following his previous two bouts on the last two weeks of WWE Superstars in which he had lost to Jack Swagger. Ur Hero is still yet to pick up a victory on television since defeating Rey Mysterio in Mysterio’s final WWE match. Neither of these men will be competing this Sunday at Over the Limit and you’d think that both will be looking to impress over the next month so they can compete at the next Pay-Per-View.

Match Rating: B-

Post-Show: Mark Henry versus Sheamus

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Mark Henry defeated Sheamus in 17:55 by pinfall with a Big Splash. Mark Henry demonstrated his brute strength well here, and both of these men have important matches this Sunday at Over the Limit as Mark Henry will face William Regal in a rematch from last week’s Monday Night RAW in which Henry got the victory whilst Sheamus will face John Cena. Sheamus will certainly have to put on a better performance this Sunday than he did tonight if he is to defeat the former WWE Champion John Cena.

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8F8AVRlEbZk/Tc9qdUzkjLI/AAAAAAAAAHY/0HpzcnvEPiQ/s1600/smackdown.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Kofi Kingston

This Sunday at Over the Limit Alberto Del Rio will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, whilst Kofi Kingston will team with RAW’s Evan Bourne to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Tonight in SmackDown!’s non-title main event Del Rio will face Kingston in singles action, just two days before their important Championship matches at Over the Limit. These two have met once before in singles competition, with Del Rio getting the all-important victory over Kingston on an episode of SmackDown! in March and were also both involved in an eight man tag team match in January, on opposite teams, with Kingston’s team getting the win on that occasion.

JTG versus The Undertaker

For the past two weeks on Friday Night SmackDown!, the Undertaker has been viciously attacking Kofi Kingston at every opportunity out of pure jealousy and bitterness that Kingston will be appearing at Over the Limit this Sunday, teaming up with Evan Bourne to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships, whilst Undertaker is not on the card. With Kingston facing Alberto Del Rio, the World Heavyweight Champion, in tonight’s non-title main event this leaves Undertaker free to take his anger out on somebody else, and he finds himself facing JTG tonight in singles action.

God versus Wade Barrett

Last night on WWE Superstars God was victorious for the first time in three weeks as he defeated Ur Hero, and tonight he looks to continue his winning ways as he faces the former Bare-Knuckle fighter from Manchester, Wade Barrett. Barrett has been victorious on SmackDown! for the past three weeks in a row, beating Kane and then more recently Edge two weeks in a row, so he will also be hoping to continue his winning streak. This will be the first ever meeting between these two SmackDown! Superstars and only one can prove the victory and gain the spoils tonight.

Beth Phoenix, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes versus Team Lay-Cool & Vickie Guerrero

Beth Phoenix has won every single match that she has been involved in so far in 2011 except for a Championship match in Extreme Rules when Kelly Kelly defeated Beth, Maryse and Natalya to successfully retain her WWE Divas Championship. Tonight Beth looks to continue her dominance over the rest of the SmackDown! Divas locker-room by leading her team to victory in this six-Diva Tag Team bout. For the past three weeks on SmackDown! Beth Phoenix and Kaitlyn have defeated Layla and Michelle McCool in tag team action and have now recruited Rosa Mendes as a partner to face Team Lay-Cool and the partner of their choosing, Vickie Guerrero.

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will hear from both Champion and Challenger heading into the WWE Intercontinental Championship match this Sunday at Over the Limit as Ezekiel Jackson prepares to defend his Championship for only the second time against the arrogant and pompous “Dashing” Cody Rhodes. What will Rhodes and Jackson have to say just two days before their Championship bout? We’ll find out tonight on Friday Night SmackDown!

As well as being in action in tonight’s non-title main event against Kofi Kingston we will also hear from the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio as he prepares to defend his title this Sunday at Over the Limit against the Viper, Randy Orton. Orton will also be present on SmackDown! tonight and SmackDown! General Manager Theodore Long has also promised a final face-off between the two men, in the same ring, before their title match this Sunday. Kofi Kingston will also be hoping that he doesn’t pick up an injury in tonight’s main event against Del Rio as he prepares to team with RAW’s Evan Bourne this Sunday at Over the Limit to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

As well as competing in the main event against Evan Bourne in non-title action, Alberto Del Rio has also promised to inform the WWE Universe of his long term plans for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight, just two days before he is scheduled to defend title against Randy Orton this Sunday at Over the Limit. Del Rio has held the title since Extreme Rules in April and his match with Orton this Sunday will be his second title defence. Kofi Kingston will also be involved in a Championship match this Sunday as he teams with RAW’s Evan Bourne to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

We will also hear from four other men involved in two big matches this Sunday at Over the Limit tonight as Big Show, Jack Swagger, Christian and Dolph Ziggler are all scheduled to be in attendance tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! Former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger will face the Big Show this Sunday at Over the Limit whilst Ziggler will take on Christian in what is sure to be a fantastic spectacle.

Finally, this Sunday at Over the Limit the beautiful Kelly Kelly will defend her WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match against both Maryse and Natalya, two Divas from Monday Night RAW. Tonight on SmackDown! we will hear from Kelly who may be in a bad mood and seeking for retribution following her assault from Layla last week. Layla will of course be in action herself tonight as she teams with Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero to take on Beth Phoenix, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Kofi Kingston

JTG versus The Undertaker

God versus Wade Barrett

Beth Phoenix, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Team Lay-Cool & Vickie Guerrero

(Predictions are welcomed, there will be a prediction contest held every month).

<em>Friday Night SmackDown! begins with “Dashing” Cody Rhodes making his way to the ring. Rhodes takes a microphone from the ringside area and proclaims that this Sunday at Over the Limit he will defeat Ezekiel Jackson to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. The reigning Champion, Ezekiel Jackson, then joins Rhodes in the ring and argues that this Sunday at Over the Limit he will retain his Intercontinental Championship, destroying the pretty face of Cody and proving why he is the Personification of Domination. Rhodes then says that it takes more than strength to be a great Champion, and his ugly and fat Father proved that several years ago. Cody says that he is the opposite of his Father in that he has beauty as well as skill, and his face will look prettier than it ever has before this Sunday when he becomes a singles Champion for the first time ever in the WWE.</em></p><p>

<em>The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring and says that this Sunday at Over the Limit he will defeat Randy Orton to retain his World title, and that he will also be victorious in tonight’s SmackDown! non-title main event as he will defeat Kofi Kingston, just two days before Kingston teams with RAW’s Evan Bourne to challenge David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus for the WWE Tag Team Championships this Sunday at Over the Limit. <strong>Rating: B+</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<em>Just as Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton face off in the centre of the ring apparently preparing for some sort of physical encounter Kofi Kingston comes to the ring. Kingston first of all shakes hands with Randy Orton and tells him that he believes that he will defeat Del Rio this Sunday at Over the Limit to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, just as Kingston and Evan Bourne will defeat David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus this Sunday to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Kingston then turns to Del Rio and says that he will give him the match of his life in tonight’s non-title SmackDown! main event. Randy Orton then heads to the back leaving Del Rio in the ring with Kingston and Del Rio strikes Kingston in the skull with his Championship belt, leaving him apparently unconscious in the centre of the ring prior to tonight’s main event.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler make their way to the ring. Swagger says that he will defeat the Big Show this Sunday at Over the Limit and Ziggler says that he will also be victorious this Sunday at Over the Limit in his match with Christian.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: B</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly makes her way to the ring and says that this Sunday at Over the Limit she will successfully retain her title in the Triple Threat match against RAW’s Natalya and Maryse. Before Kelly can say anything else, however, Layla rushes to the ring and boots Kelly in the head. Layla then picks up the microphone and says that she deserves to be in the title match at Over the Limit this Sunday, and demands some singles competition.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: D-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>As Layla stands over the fallen Kelly Kelly, just two days before Kelly is scheduled to defend her WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match against Natalya and Maryse of Monday Night RAW, Beth Phoenix comes to the ring. Layla accepts the challenge, and says that she will also face Beth in six-Diva tag team action later tonight, and calls her partners out. Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero then rush to the ring and along with Layla beat Beth Phoenix down to the mat, stomping all over her, weakening her before the Six-Diva tag team bout later.</em></p><p>

<strong>God versus Wade Barrett</strong></p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, Wade Barrett defeated God in 8:02 by pinfall with a Wasteland. This was God’s second match in as many days after defeating Ur Hero last night on WWE Superstars.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>JTG versus The Undertaker</strong></p><p>

In a bout that featured great action and a good crowd, The Undertaker defeated JTG in 7:56 by submission with a Hell's Gate. The Undertaker continues to be in a bad mood after not being on the card for Over the Limit this Sunday.</p><p>

Sunday, Week 3, May, 2011

http://www.ring-rap.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/WWE-Over-The-Limit.jpg

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Over The Limit Pay-Per-View:

WWE Championship: CM Punk © versus United States Champion John Morrison

New Nexus Leader CM Punk will put his WWE Championship on the line for the third time as he defends against the reigning United States Champion, John Morrison. Punk has held the title since Wrestlemania and hopes to defend it successfully tonight.

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio © vs. Randy Orton

Last month at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View Alberto Del Rio won the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match, and tonight he defends the title for the second time as he faces the Viper, Randy Orton.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Otunga & McGuillicutty © vs. Kingston & Bourne

David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus won the WWE Tag Team Championships at the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View back in February and tonight make their third title defence against the new team of Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Cody Rhodes

At Wrestlemania Ezekiel Jackson defeated former Champion Wade Barrett to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion, and tonight makes his second ever title defence as he faces the egomaniac, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes.

Mark Henry versus William Regal

Two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry defeated William Regal, and tonight Regal has another chance at salvation when he faces Henry again. Henry is undefeated since losing to Sheamus on an episode of RAW in April, and will be hoping to continue his dominating winning streak tonight against the wily and craft veteran from Blackpool England, William Regal.

Christian versus Dolph Ziggler

Tonight will be Dolph Ziggler’s first match since losing his WWE Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Champion Ezekiel Jackson back at Extreme Rules last month. This will be Ziggler’s second match with Christian in 2011 as they also faced one another on an episode of SmackDown! in February, with Ziggler getting the all-important victory on that occasion. Christian’s last match on television was a World Championship match with Alberto Del Rio which saw Christian unable to win the gold, and both he and Ziggler will both be hoping for a big victory tonight to elevate themselves back into Championship contention.

Daniel Bryan versus Primo

At Wrestlemania Primo defeated Daniel Bryan to win the WWE United States Championship, but since then Primo has lost the title to John Morrison in a Falls Count Anywhere match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View, whilst Bryan defeated William Regal in a submission match at Extreme Rules. Also, since losing to Primo at Wrestlemania Bryan has only lost one other match, a non-title main event on an episode of RAW two weeks ago against New Nexus Leader and reigning WWE Champion CM Punk. Bryan also defeated Primo last week on RAW in tag team action and will be hoping for more of the same tonight on the grand stage that is Pay-Per-View.

Big Show versus Jack Swagger

At the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View last month Jack Swagger lost the World Heavyweight Championship that he had held since defeating Edge to become a two-time World Champion at the Royal Rumble back in January. With Alberto Del Rio now holding the World title, Swagger hopes to get himself back into the title picture. For the past four weeks Swagger has not competed on Friday Night SmackDown!, however he does hold two impressive victories over God on WWE Superstars to his name.

John Cena versus Sheamus

Three weeks ago on Monday Night RAW John Cena defeated Sheamus and the week following that Cena got a hard-fought victory over Ted DiBiase. Cena needs these important victories if he hopes to get a title shot at the WWE Championship following his loss to CM Punk in the Hell in a Cell match at Extreme Rules last month, Cena’s last Championship opportunity, and tonight Cena aims for another all-important victory as he faces Sheamus in what is likely to be their final battle this year. Sheamus has not won a match since defeating Mark Henry on an episode of RAW in April, and the Celtic Irishman will likely be hoping to change that tonight as he faces Cena.

WWE Divas Championship: Kelly Kelly © versus Natalya versus Maryse

At Wrestlemania back in March Kelly Kelly, so beautiful that they named her twice, defeated Maryse and former Champion Natalya in a Triple Threat match to become the new WWE Divas Champion. Since then Kelly has gone on to successfully defend the title last month at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in a Four-Way match also involving Natalya, Maryse and Beth Phoenix. Kelly Kelly has won every single match that she has been involved in this year and will look to continue that phenomenal run tonight, making her second successful title defence in the process.

Beth Phoenix versus Layla

Another Diva that seems to be on a winning streak is Beth Phoenix. Beth has won every single match that she has been involved in this year as well, except for the WWE Divas Championship Four-Way match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View last month that saw Kelly Kelly successfully defend her title. Tonight she faces Layla following Layla’s attack of Beth Phoenix this past week on SmackDown! along with Layla’s Lay-Cool partners Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero. Beth will be hoping to win this match tonight and get one step closer to another opportunity at the WWE Divas Championship.

Quick Picks:

WWE Championship: CM Punk © versus United States Champion John Morrison

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio © versus Randy Orton

WWE Tag Team Championships: Otunga & McGuillicutty © vs. Kingston & Bourne

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Ezekiel Jackson © versus Cody Rhodes

Mark Henry versus William Regal

Christian versus Dolph Ziggler

Daniel Bryan versus Primo

Big Show versus Jack Swagger

John Cena versus Sheamus

WWE Divas Championship: Kelly Kelly © versus Natalya versus Maryse

<em>We cut backstage to find the New Nexus Leader and WWE Champion CM Punk preparing for his title defence later against United States Champion John Morrison. <strong>WWE Tag Team Championships: Otunga & McGuillicutty © vs. Bourne & Kingston</strong></p><p>

The United States Champion John Morrison then walks into the room and asks Orton for advice before his upcoming WWE Championship match with New Nexus Leader and WWE Champion CM Punk later tonight. Before Orton can give Morrison any advice, however, CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio cockily stride into the locker-room. Del Rio tells Morrison that he shouldn’t be asking Orton for advice, because all Orton knows how to do is choke on the big stage, just like he did when he failed to win the World Championship in the main event of Wrestlemania. Punk then tells Morrison that no advice will help him defeat him tonight, and that he should stick to defending his United States Championship, as it’s the only Championship he will ever hold. Punk and Del Rio then smile at each other before leaving the room, leaving Orton and Morrison looking extremely angry prior to their big Championship matches later tonight at Over the Limit.</em></p><p>

<em>Before the evening’s main event, The Miz comes to the ring and is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area. The Miz says that it is a travesty that he has not been given a match tonight at Over the Limit considering that he has been winning several matches recently on RAW, albeit against losers that will never amount to anything like Ted DiBiase. The Miz says that since losing his WWE Championship to New Nexus Leader CM Punk at Wrestlemania he has been overlooked. Miz says that it’s unfair that John Morrison has a title shot tonight, as he is already the United States Champion. Miz says that everybody in the crowd is about to watch John Morrison fail and once again prove that The Miz was the superior member of their tag team. Miz says that tomorrow night on Monday Night RAW he will probably be wrestling a loser again, and will win. Miz says that he demands respect and he hopes the Anonymous General Manager of RAW is watching and begins to show him some respect.</em></p><p>

<p><strong>Monday, Week 4, May, 2011</strong></p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><span>http://assets.huluim.com/shows/key_art_wwe_monday_night_raw.jpg</span></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>Champ vs. Champ: Non-Title: WWE Champ CM Punk vs. US Champ John Morrison</strong></p><p>

Last night at WWE Over the Limit CM Punk successfully retained his WWE Championship in the main event against the United States Champion John Morrison. Tonight on Monday Night RAW, the New Nexus Leader will one again face Morrison, this time in non-title action in tonight’s Champion versus Champion main event.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Miz versus Ted DiBiase</strong></p><p>

Last night at WWE Over the Limit The Miz came to the ring before the main event and seemed very angry at the lack of respect the Anonymous RAW General Manager has been showing as of late by not booking Miz in a match last night. During his tirade he insulted Ted DiBiase, calling him a loser. DiBiase will be looking for revenge tonight as he faces The Miz hoping to build on his victory over R-Truth last week on Monday Night RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>R-Truth versus Alex Riley</strong></p><p>

As aforementioned, R-Truth lost last week on Monday Night RAW to Ted DiBiase, his first in six weeks. Alex Riley was also on the losing side of things last week on RAW as he was defeated by his former mentor, The Miz, for the second week in a row. Neither of these men were in action last night at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View so will both be relatively fresh heading into this evening’s contest. These two have faced each other on RAW twice before, with Truth getting the all-important victory on both previous occasions.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Eve versus Brie Bella</strong></p><p>

Eve has been victorious in singles matches for the past three weeks on Monday Night RAW, beating Nikki Bella three weeks ago and defeating the powerful Tamina for the past two weeks in a row. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Eve will hope to continue her winning streak as she takes on Brie Bella in singles action for the very first time on television. The last time these two Divas were in the same ring together on RAW was in a tag team bout at the end of April which saw Brie team with her Sister Nikki to defeat Eve and her tag team partner Gail Kim. Will things be any different tonight?</p><p> </p><p>

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from WWE Champion and New Nexus Leader CM Punk following his successful title defence in the main event of WWE Over the Limit last night against the reigning United States Champion John Morrison. We will also hear from Morrison tonight just twenty-four hours removed from the biggest Pay-Per-View match of his life, before Morrison has one more shot against Punk in non-title action in tonight’s Champion versus Champion main event. What will Punk and Morrison have to say to one another after last night’s match?</p><p> </p><p>

Last night at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Daniel Bryan made Primo submit in their singles match, finally gaining some retribution on Primo after his loss at Wrestlemania which saw Primo win the WWE United States Championship, now held by John Morrison. Where does Daniel Bryan go now following his second Pay-Per-View victory in a row after defeating William Regal in a Submission match at Extreme Rules back in April? Perhaps Daniel Bryan will now finally set his sights on the WWE Championship? We’ll find out tonight live on Monday Night RAW.</p><p> </p><p>

History was made last night at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View as RAW’s Evan Bourne and SmackDown!’s Kofi Kingston teamed up for the very first time to defeat the New Nexus pairing of David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty and become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Kofi Kingston is a member of the SmackDown! roster and so will not be appearing tonight at Monday Night RAW, but Evan Bourne will be present to discuss his big win last night at Over the Limit and how it feels to be holding his first ever Championship in the WWE.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The former WWE Tag Team Champions, David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus, will also be at Monday Night RAW tonight and will likely be in a very bad mood after losing their WWE Tag Team Championships last night at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View to Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston. After holding the titles since the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View back in February, Otunga and McGuillicutty will likely want to receive a rematch against RAW’s Bourne and SmackDown!’s Kingston as soon as possible.</p><p> </p><p>

Also last night at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View SmackDown!’s beautiful Kelly Kelly successfully retained her WWE Divas Championship for the second time in a Triple Threat match against RAW’s Maryse and Natalya. Both Maryse and Natalya will be present at RAW tonight and neither will be particularly happy, and Natalya in particular might want revenge on Maryse and Brie Bella after recent weeks which have seen Brie distract Natalya, allowing Maryse to assault her. Both Maryse and Natalya will also likely want to receive another shot at the Divas Championship.</p><p> </p><p>

Mark Henry and Sheamus were both victorious last night at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View in their singles matches against William Regal and John Cena respectively. Mark Henry’s win over Regal was his second in as many weeks and is undefeated since losing to Sheamus on an episode of Monday Night RAW in April. WWE Monday Night RAW (Live from the MN Gangelhoff Center, 3,200 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: David Hart Smith versus Zack Ryder

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Zack Ryder defeated David Hart Smith in 18:30 by pinfall with a Zack Attack.

Match Rating: D+

Monday Night RAW begins with the New Nexus Leader and WWE Champion CM Punk making his way to the ring. Punk is quick to retrieve a microphone from the ringside area and proclaim that last night at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View; he defeated John Morrison, the reigning United States Champion, to successfully defend his WWE Championship. Morrison then joins Punk in the ring and says that tonight he will be facing Punk again, this time in a non-title Champion versus Champion main event, and that he will do what he could not do last night, and defeat Punk. Punk then says that he defeated John Morrison in the Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View back in February in RAW’s Elimination Chamber match, defeated Morrison in a main event on Monday Night RAW a month ago and beat Morrison last night at Over the Limit. Punk says that Morrison’s match with him tonight will be his last, and will see Punk victorious once again.

Rating: B+

Daniel Bryan then comes to the ring, joining the New Nexus Leader and WWE Champion CM Punk as well as the United States Champion John Morrison. Bryan says that Punk may have defeated Morrison to retain his title last night at Over the Limit, and he may be facing Morrison in non-title action in tonight’s Champion versus Champion main event, but Daniel Bryan was also victorious last night at Over the Limit as he defeated Primo. Bryan announces that he will be one of Punk’s three challengers for the WWE Championship in a Fatal Four-Way match at the upcoming Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View.

Rating: B

David Otunga of the New Nexus comes to the ring and says that although he and Michael McGuillicutty lost the WWE Tag Team Championships last night at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View to Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston, they will get a chance to win the titles back at the upcoming Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View as they will be one of the three teams challenging Bourne and Kingston for the titles in a Tag Team Fatal Four-Way match. Otunga says that the other two teams in the Fatal Four-Way match will be revealed later tonight.

Rating: B+

Evan Bourne then joins David Otunga of the New Nexus in the ring, proudly displaying his WWE Tag Team Championship belt. Bourne says that last night at Over the Limit he and Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions, and that they will retain the titles at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View against Otunga and McGuillicutty as well as whatever other two teams will be in the match. Before Bourne can say anything else, however, Michael McGuillicutty runs to the ring and hits Bourne with a huge clothesline. Otunga and McGuillicutty then stand over the fallen Bourne, proud of their despicable actions.

Rating: B-

Natalya comes to the ring and says that even though Kelly Kelly retained her WWE Divas Championship last night at Over the Limit in the Triple Threat match, Natalya will have another chance to win the gold at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View when Kelly will defend the title in a Fatal Four-Way match against Natalya, Maryse and a third Diva to be announced this Friday on SmackDown! Brie Bella then comes to the ring and once again distracts Natalya for long enough for Maryse to slide in the ring and hit Natalya with a vicious DDT, leaving her seemingly unconscious in the centre of the ring.

Rating: C-

Sheamus then joins Henry in the ring and says that after his win over John Cena last night at Over the Limit he will also be in the Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Championship at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View.

Rating: B

William Regal comes to the ring and says that even though he lost to Mark Henry last night at Over the Limit he will be one of the three challengers to John Morrison’s United States Championship in a Fatal Four-Way match at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View. Primo then joins Regal in the ring and announces that he will also be in the Fatal Four-Way match and that the third challenger will be none other than John Cena, following his loss to Sheamus last night at Over the Limit.

Rating: C

Santino Marella makes his way to the ring and declares that he and Vladimir Kozlov will be one of the teams challenging Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships in the Fatal Four-Way tag team match at the Fatal Four-Way match, joining former Champions David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. Heath Slater then rushes to the ring and hits Santino with a low blow, before picking up the microphone and announcing that he and Justin Gabriel will be the third challenging team at Fatal Four-Way. Vladimir Kozlov then rushes to the ring in aid of his tag team partner and Slater runs to the back.

Rating: C

As Vladimir Kozlov helps Santino Marella to his feet Heath Slater returns to the entrance-way with Justin Gabriel, and Gabriel has a microphone in hand. He says that he and Slater will defeat Santino and Kozlov, Otunga and McGuillicutty and the Champions Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Superstars:

God versus Wade Barrett

Wade Barrett successfully defeated God last week on Friday Night SmackDown! and God wants a rematch tonight on WWE Superstars. Since losing his WWE Intercontinental Championship to Ezekiel Jackson in a Triple Threat match also involving Dolph Ziggler at Wrestlemania, Barrett has only lost one match on television, that being a match against Kofi Kingston on an episode of SmackDown! at the beginning of April. The almighty God, however, was also victorious last week on WWE Superstars against Ur Hero following two losses in a row on the very same program against Jack Swagger. Who will come out on top tonight? Since coming to the WWE at the beginning of the year God has often promised that he will dominate SmackDown! but has been a little lacklustre in some of his performances, despite his impressive presence in the ring. The former Champion bare-knuckle fighter from Manchester, England, Wade Barrett, would also love to dominate SmackDown! once again and a win over God here tonight on WWE Superstars may begin a wave of momentum that Barrett needs in which to do so.

WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne versus Sheamus

This past Sunday at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions, and we learned this week on Monday Night RAW that Bourne and Kingston will now head to the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View to defend the titles in a Fatal Four-Way tag team match against Otunga and McGuillicutty, Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel and the team of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. Sheamus defeated John Cena in Sunday at Over the Limit, earning him a spot in the Fatal Four-Way match for the WWE Championship as he, Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan will challenge New Nexus Leader CM Punk for the WWE Championship. First, however, Sheamus will face Bourne tonight on WWE Superstars.

Also tonight on WWE Superstars we will see a recap video of the WWE Intercontinental Championship match from Sunday’s WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View, a bout that saw “Dashing” Cody Rhodes defeat former Champion Ezekiel Jackson to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Where do Rhodes and Jackson go from here? Tonight we will not only show highlights from Sunday’s Championship match but also show Rhodes’ celebration following the match as he won his first ever singles Championship in the WWE. Sunday was Ezekiel Jackson’s second title defence since winning the title at Wrestlemania in a Triple Threat match against Dolph Ziggler and former Champion Wade Barrett. Jackson had also previously retained the title at Extreme Rules in a First Blood match against Dolph Ziggler, before losing the title to Rhodes on Sunday at Over the Limit.

We learned this week on Monday Night RAW that following CM Punk’s successful title defence against United States Champion John Morrison at the Over the Limit Pay-Per-View on Sunday the New Nexus Leader will now go on to defend the title in a Fatal Four-Way match at the upcoming Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View. Tonight on WWE Superstars we will show highlights of RAW’s non-title Champion versus Champion main event as Punk faced Morrison for the final time, as well as preview the three challengers for the WWE Championship at Fatal Four-Way, Daniel Bryan, Mark Henry and Sheamus, who will be in action tonight against WWE Tag Team Champion Evan Bourne.

On Sunday night at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio proved all of his critics wrong by successfully retaining his World Heavyweight Championship against the Viper, Randy Orton. This was Del Rio’s second successful title defence after defeating Christian to retain the title on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown! just five days after he won it in a Triple Threat match at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View against Christian and former Champion Jack Swagger. Speaking of Jack Swagger, he was also in action this Sunday at Over the Limit, but he lost his match to the Big Show. Where does Alberto Del Rio go from here? Tonight on WWE Superstars we will show highlights of Del Rio’s title defence against Orton this Sunday at Over the Limit as well as recap Big Show’s victory over Jack Swagger on the same night.

We learned this week on Monday Night RAW that the new WWE Tag Team Champions, RAW’s Evan Bourne and SmackDown!’s Kofi Kingston, will make their first title defence at the upcoming Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View in a Fatal Four-Way match. Bourne and Kingston won the titles on Sunday at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View from former Champions, New Nexus members David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty. Otunga and McGuillicutty will be one of the three teams challenging for the titles in the Fatal Four-Way tag team bout along with fellow New Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel as well as former Champions Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov. Tonight on WWE Superstars we will show highlights of Bourne and Kingston’s title win on Sunday and Evan Bourne will also be in singles action as he faces the Celtic Warrior, Sheamus.

Finally, tonight’s WWE Superstars will also show highlights from Sunday’s Over the Limit Pay-Per-View main event as New Nexus Leader CM Punk successfully defended his WWE Championship against United States Champion John Morrison. We learned on Monday Night RAW that Morrison will now head to the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View to defend his title in a Fatal Four-Way match against John Cena, Primo and William Regal, and that match will also be previewed tonight on WWE Superstars. A recap will also be shown of all of the key events from this week’s RAW including Morrison’s main event non-title Champion versus Champion match against CM Punk.
