The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion The Miz & Mark Henry vs. David Otunga & Michael McGuillicutty

At Summerslam this Sunday The Miz will defend his WWE Championship in a Triple Threat match against both Mark Henry and Sheamus, whilst David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Before that, however, Miz will team with Mark Henry in tonight’s Monday Night RAW main event to take on the team of Otunga and McGuillicutty in tag team action. Miz has not lost a match since losing to CM Punk the night after Wrestlemania, and will be hoping that he and Henry can get along tonight in order to continue that tremendous winning streak.

John Cena versus William Regal

John Cena will take on William Regal tonight on Monday Night RAW in one on one competition for the second time this year after Cena was able to pick up an all-important victory over the veteran from Blackpool, England back in February on an edition of RAW. Both of these men were also involved in RAW’s Money in the Bank ladder match last month, in a contest that was won by RAW’s Mr. Money in the Bank Daniel Bryan. They were also both involved in a US title match back in June at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View, which saw John Morrison retain his title.

Triple H versus Husky Harris

Last week on Monday Night RAW The Game Triple H took and defeated New Nexus member Husky Harris, and will be looking to do the same tonight on RAW when the two face off for the second time. The Cerebral Assassin’s only loss this year came last month at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View as he and David Hart Smith lost a tag team match to the New Nexus tandem of Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel. Since that loss, however, Hunter has picked up singles wins over Slater and Harris, and will be hoping for his third win in a row tonight.

R-Truth versus Zack Ryder

Tonight on Monday Night RAW will see R-Truth and “Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder face one another for the very first time on RAW, in what should be a tremendous and athletically sound contest. Both of these Superstars were both involved in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was won by the mysterious God of Friday Night SmackDown! Ryder is on a roll as of late, as he managed to defeat Santino Marella last week on RAW and has actually won all three matches on RAW that he has competed in this year.

Santino Marella versus Ted DiBiase

On an episode of Monday Night RAW back in February of this year Ted DiBiase took on and defeated Santino Marella, and tonight the pair will face off again. Both of these men also took part in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was eventually won by the mysterious God of Friday Night SmackDown! Two weeks ago on RAW DiBiase defeated Santino Marella’s tag team partner Vladimir Kozlov, and will be looking for more success against Santino tonight.

Eve versus Melina

For the past two weeks on Monday Night RAW Eve has defeated Melina, getting some revenge over Melina for the assault that Melina gave her last month at Money in the Bank. Tonight these two Divas will face off one more time, with both having two victories over the other this year on RAW after Melina was able to get the better of Eve on two occasions in January of this year. Eve does hold several tag team victories over Melina, however, with her and Gail Kim defeating Eve and Alicia Fox on three occasions on RAW, once in February, once in March and once in April.

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from the WWE Champion The Miz before he teams with Mark Henry in tonight’s tag team main event to take on the team of David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. This Sunday at Summerslam Miz will put his WWE title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Mark Henry and Sheamus whilst Otunga and McGuillicutty will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships. What will Miz have to say before he has to team with one of his opponents this Sunday in the evening’s main event?

We will also hear from The Miz’s partner in tonight’s tag team main event, Mark Henry, tonight on Monday Night RAW before he teams with Miz to take on the team of New Nexus members David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty. This Sunday at Summerslam Mark Henry will join Sheamus in challenging Miz for the WWE title in a Triple Threat match whilst Otunga and McGuillicutty will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Will Miz and Henry have a verbal confrontation before they team up in the evening’s main event?

Finally, we will hear from RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan tonight on Monday Night RAW before he joins Primo in challenging John Morrison for the United States Championship this Sunday at Summerslam. What will Bryan have to say just six days before his important title shot and does he have plans for cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase any time soon? Daniel Bryan failed to win the WWE Championship back at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View in June and he does have one guaranteed title one on one title shot at some point in the future.

Quick Picks:

WWE Champion The Miz & Mark Henry vs. David Otunga & Michael McGuillicutty

John Cena versus William Regal

Triple H versus Husky Harris

R-Truth versus Zack Ryder

Santino Marella versus Ted DiBiase

Eve versus Melina

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

World Champ Del Rio & IC Champ Cody Rhodes vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson

This Sunday at Summerslam Alberto Del Rio will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Edge whilst “Dashing” Cody Rhodes will put his WWE Intercontinental Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Ezekiel Jackson and SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Before that, however, Del Rio will team with Rhodes tonight in Friday Night SmackDown!’s tag team main event to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. This is the first time that this match as ever taken place.

Big Show versus The Undertaker

Big Show and The Undertaker have had many battles in years gone by but tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! will see them face one another for the first time this year. They were on opposing teams last month on SmackDown! however when Undertaker teamed with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio to take on and defeat Big Show and his partner, the “Viper” Randy Orton. Undertaker is undefeated on SmackDown! since losing in a tag team match back in February when Jack Swagger and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes defeated Undertaker and Edge.

Kane versus Drew McIntyre

The Undertaker’s brother, Kane, will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! when he takes on the Sadistic Scotsman Drew McIntyre. These two faced off on a previous edition of SmackDown! back in May which saw McIntyre pick up the all-important victory and Kane would love nothing more than to give McIntyre a beating tonight following his losses to the Undertaker he suffered for the past two weeks in a row. Before losing to Undertaker for the past two weeks Kane had been on a roll having defeated the “Con Man” Rob Conway for three weeks straight.

Finlay versus Jack Swagger

As well as Drew McIntyre from Scotland, another Brit will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as the “Fighting Irishman” who loves to fight, Finlay, will take on the “All American American” Jack Swagger. These two met one another in one on one competition for the very first time last month in a match which saw Swagger pick up the all-important victory. Can the veteran Finlay avenge that particular loss tonight? Swagger has had mixed fortunes since losing to the “Rated R Superstar” Edge at Money in the Bank, having defeated JTG two weeks ago on SmackDown! but suffered a loss at the large hands of the Big Show last week.

God versus JTG

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown! we saw a different side of the Brawler from the Brooklyn Hood, JTG, as he came to the ring and took his frustrations out on an innocent Trent Barreta by kicking him in the groin. Tonight will we see the same sort of attitude from JTG as he faces the mysterious God in singles competition for the very first time? These two were both involved in the Royal Rumble match back in January which was eventually won by the “Viper” Randy Orton and also both took part in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania which God was able to win.

Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Layla, Michelle McCool & Vickie Guerrero

For the past two weeks on Friday Night SmackDown! Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes have teamed up and defeated Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero in Six Diva tag team action, and tonight the two teams will face off again. The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix will likely be watching this match closely following the assault she suffered at the hands of Layla, McCool and Vickie last week. At Summerslam this Sunday Beth will defend her title in a Triple Threat match against Natalya and Maryse.

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will hear from the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as well as Ezekiel Jackson before they face one another in tonight’s tag team main event as Rhodes teams with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio to take on the team of Jackson and Edge. At Summerslam this Sunday Rhodes will put his Intercontinental title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Jackson and SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler whilst Alberto Del Rio will defend his World title against Edge.

Speaking of which, the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and his challenger at Summerslam this Sunday, Edge, will have a face to face confrontation tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! before they face one another in the evening’s tag team main event as Del Rio teams with the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Rhodes will put his Intercontinental title on the line this Sunday at Summerslam in a Triple Threat match against both Jackson and the SmackDown! Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. What will Del Rio and Edge have to say to one another tonight before their title match on Sunday?

Finally, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, will be on Friday Night SmackDown! tonight as he prepares for Summerslam this Sunday when he and Evan Bourne will put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. We will also hear from SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler tonight before he joins Ezekiel Jackson in challenging “Dashing” Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental title in a Triple Threat match this Sunday.

Quick Picks:

World Champ Del Rio & IC Champ Cody Rhodes vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson

Big Show versus The Undertaker

Kane versus Drew McIntyre

Finlay versus Jack Swagger

Pre-Show: WWE Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Joey Mercury

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Kofi Kingston defeated Joey Mercury in 17:44 by pinfall with a Trouble In Paradise.

Match Rating: C

Friday Night SmackDown! begins with the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes making his way to the ring. Rhodes says that this Sunday at Summerslam he will defeat both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match to retain his title, and that in tonight’s tag team main event he will team with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio to defeat Ezekiel Jackson and Edge. Rhodes says that he believes Del Rio will successfully retain his title against Edge this Sunday as well, before Ezekiel Jackson joins Rhodes in the ring. Jackson promises that he will be the one leaving Summerslam as the new Intercontinental Champion. Jackson says that Dolph Ziggler shouldn’t even be in the Triple Threat match this Sunday as he already has a guaranteed World Championship match in the future by virtue of winning the SmackDown! Money in the Bank match last month.

Rating: B

The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio joins the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and Ezekiel Jackson in the ring. Del Rio immediately shakes hands with Rhodes and wishes him the best of luck this Sunday at Summerslam when he puts his Intercontinental title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Jackson and SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio then says that he and Rhodes will win tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event as they will defeat the team of Ezekiel Jackson and Edge, before Del Rio beats Edge this Sunday to retain his World title. Edge then comes to the ring and promises that he will be the one leaving Summerslam as the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Rating: B

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, comes to the ring and proclaims that this Sunday at Summerslam he and Evan Bourne will defeat David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. Dolph Ziggler, SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner, then joins Kofi Kingston in the ring and says that the only thing that will matter this Sunday at Summerslam is Ziggler defeating the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as well as Ezekiel Jackson in the Triple Threat match to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Ziggler says he will be watching tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! main event very closely as Rhodes teams up with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Ziggler then says he doesn’t care who wins the World title match this Sunday when Del Rio defends his title against Edge, and then clocks Kingston in the skull with his Money in the Bank briefcase.

Rating: B

The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and declares that this Sunday at Summerslam she will defeat both Maryse and Natalya in the Triple Threat match to retain her title. Before Beth can say anything else, however, Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero rush to the ring and assault Beth with stomps and kicks, before Vickie picks up the microphone and says that later on Friday Night SmackDown! the trio will show the same dominance when they defeat Kelly, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes in a Six Diva tag team match.

Rating: C-

Big Show versus The Undertaker

In a superb bout that had great wrestling and a sizzling crowd, The Undertaker defeated Big Show in 7:58 by pinfall with a Choke Slam.

Match Rating: B+

Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Layla, Michelle McCool & Vickie Guerrero

In a match that had an average crowd reaction and some decent in-ring action, Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes defeated Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero in 7:06 when Kelly Kelly defeated Vickie Guerrero by pinfall with a Legdrop Bulldog.

Match Rating: D+

(Val Venis feels that Vickie Guerrero needs to be booked in shorter matches, as she was totally exposed by the length of this one.)

Match Rating: C+

Finlay versus Jack Swagger

Match Rating: B-

Adam Pearce comes to the ring along with Rob Conway. Conway retrieves a microphone from the ringside area and says that he and Pearce are soon going to dominate Friday Night SmackDown! and that losers like Slam Master J aren’t going to get a look in. Conway then passes the microphone to Adam Pearce who says that he and Conway are real men, and real wrestlers, whilst Slam Master J is a sad gimmick which highlights all that is wrong with professional wrestling in the Twenty-First Century.

Rating: D+

Trent Barreta comes to the ring and says that he is a human highlight reel and that he is very happy to be here on Friday Night SmackDown! Before he can say anything else, however, Chavo Guerrero rushes to the ring and tries to attach Barreta but Barreta moves out of the way and flees to the back.

Rating: D

World Champ Del Rio & IC Champ Cody Rhodes vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, Alberto Del Rio and "Dashing" Cody Rhodes defeated Edge and Ezekiel Jackson in 13:16 when "Dashing" Cody Rhodes defeated Edge by pinfall with a Springboard Roundhouse.

(Mike Rotunda feels that the fans have become a little bored with Ezekiel Jackson and that perhaps a turn or a gimmick change would freshen him up and give him a boost.)

The following contests are confirmed to take place at tonight’s WWE Summerslam Pay-Per-View:

WWE Championship: The Miz © versus Mark Henry versus Sheamus

Last month at the WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View The Miz defeated both Mark Henry and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match to successfully retain his WWE Championship, and tonight he will defend his title in another Triple Threat match against Henry and Sheamus. Tonight will be his second title defence since winning the title from former New Nexus Leader CM Punk in June on an episode of Monday Night RAW, in a “Loser Leaves WWE” match, in the process banishing Punk from World Wrestling Entertainment. Miz is currently holding the title for a third time, after last losing it to CM Punk at this year’s Wrestlemania. In his last reign Miz managed five successful title defences before losing the title, and he’ll be hoping for even more this time around.

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio © versus Edge

Alberto Del Rio will make the fifth title defence of his World Heavyweight Championship tonight as he defends the title against the former six-time World Heavyweight Champion, the “Rated R Superstar” Edge, who last held the title earlier this year before losing it to the “All American American” Jack Swagger at the Royal Rumble back in January. This will be Del Rio’s second singles meeting with Edge this year after previously defeating him on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown! back in March. In last week’s Friday Night SmackDown! main event Edge teamed with Ezekiel Jackson in a losing tag effort against the team of Del Rio and the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes.

United States Championship: John Morrison © vs. Mr. MITB Daniel Bryan vs. Primo

After winning the RAW Money in the Bank ladder match last month at the WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Daniel Bryan ha a future guaranteed opportunity at the WWE Championship but tonight he joins Primo in challenging the WWE United States Champion John Morrison in a Triple Threat match for Morrison’s prestigious United States title. Morrison was able to successfully retain the title at Money in the Bank against Primo in singles competition, and will be hoping to do the same tonight. These three were last all in the ring together in a match back in May on an episode of Monday Night RAW when Morrison and Bryan teamed up in the main event to take on and defeat the team of Primo and CM Punk. Tonight will be Morrison’s fourth defence of the United States title since winning it from Primo in a Falls Count Anywhere match back at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in April. As well as beating Primo at Money in the Bank Morrison has also defended the title against Primo, William Regal and John Cena in a Fatal Four-Way match as well as besting Regal in singles action.

IC Championship: Cody Rhodes © vs. Ezekiel Jackson vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler

Last month at the WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Dolph Ziggler defeated the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel Jackson, Christian, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre to win the SmackDown! Money in the Bank ladder match and earn a future guaranteed shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, but tonight he joins Ezekiel Jackson in challenging Rhodes for the Intercontinental title in a Triple Threat match. In June at the WWE Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View Rhodes defeated Ziggler, Jackson as well as Christian in a Fatal Four-Way bout to make his last title defence so Rhodes has previous experience against both of his challengers tonight. Tonight will be Rhodes’ second title defence since winning the title from Ezekiel Jackson back in May at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Bourne & Kingston © vs. Otunga & McGuillicutty

Back in May at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston defeated David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions and tonight they make their second title defence as they defend the belts against Otunga and McGuillicutty. Bourne and Kingston’s first title defence came at the WWE Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View back in June as they defeated Otunga and McGuillicutty as well as fellow New Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel as well as the dynamic duo of Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov in a Fatal Four-Way tag team match.

WWE Divas Championship: Beth Phoenix © vs. Natalya vs. Maryse

At the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View back in June Beth Phoenix defeated the WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly, Natalya and Maryse in a Fatal Four-Way bout to become the new Divas Champion, and last month at the WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View Beth defeated Kelly, Natalya and Maryse again in another Fatal Four-Way match to make her first title defence. Tonight Beth will defend the Divas title for the second time as she faces both Natalya and Maryse in a Triple Threat match. The former Champion, Kelly Kelly, is seemingly no longer in the title picture despite herself holding a Fatal Four-Way victory over Beth, Natalya and Maryse back in April at the WWE Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View to make her final title defence. This is Beth Phoenix’s first reign as Divas Champion, with Maryse being a former two-time Champion. Natalya also held the title earlier this year before losing it to Kelly Kelly at Wrestlemania in a Triple Threat match also involving Maryse.

Quick Picks:

WWE Championship: The Miz © versus Mark Henry versus Sheamus

World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio © versus Edge

United States Championship: John Morrison © vs. Mr. MITB Daniel Bryan vs. Primo

IC Championship: Cody Rhodes © vs. Ezekiel Jackson vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler

WWE Summerslam Pay-Per-View (Live from the VI Joseph G. Echols Hall, 6,998 in Attendance)

Pre-Show: Eve versus Alicia Fox

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but not much in the way of heat, Alicia Fox defeated Eve in 18:27 by pinfall with a Scissors Kick.

Match Rating: D

IC Championship: Cody Rhodes © vs. Ezekiel Jackson vs. Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler

In a bout that featured great action and great heat from the audience, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes defeated Ezekiel Jackson and Dolph Ziggler in 18:11 when "Dashing" Cody Rhodes defeated Ezekiel Jackson by pinfall with a Springboard Roundhouse. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes makes defence number 2 of his WWE Intercontinental title.

Match Rating: C+

(Tony Garea feels that the fans have become a little bored with Dolph Ziggler, and that perhaps a turn or a gimmick change would freshen him up and give him a boost.)

We cut backstage to the interview area to find Scott Stanford standing by with the reigning WWE Champion, The Miz, who will defend his title in tonight’s Summerslam main event against both Mark Henry and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match. Stanford asks Miz how he’s feeling heading into his title defence later tonight and Miz says that he’s feeling confident as ever, just as he was feeling confident last month at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View when he defeated Miz and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match to make his first title defence. Miz says that when he defeated former New Nexus leader CM Punk on RAW to win the WWE Championship in a Loser Leaves WWE match he not only stripped the WWE of the virus that was CM Punk, but also unleashed a new, unstoppable force that is the Miz’s reign as WWE Champion. Miz says that he will hold the WWE title for a very long time.

Rating: B

We cut to another backstage area to find the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio preparing for his title defence against the “Rated R Superstar” Edge later tonight. Edge walks into Del Rio’s locker-room and says that he just wants to warn him that for the past seven months since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Jack Swagger Edge has been a crazy man, and that he has been forced to fall down the Friday Night SmackDown! pecking order, working his way back up until he finally received his Championship opportunity tonight. Edge warns Del Rio that the World title will do crazy things to a person, and that Edge is going to take all of his insanity and craziness out on Del Rio in the middle of the ring later tonight, before hitting Del Rio with a Spear to once again become the World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio then gets to his feet and tells Edge that a lot has changed since Edge last held the World title in January. Del Rio says that it was his destiny to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules, and that it’s his destiny to retain the title against Edge tonight.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion The Miz versus Primo

Last night at WWE Summerslam The Miz defeated both Sheamus and Mark Henry in a Triple Threat match to successfully retain his WWE Championship whilst John Morrison also retained his United States Championship in a Triple Threat match against RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan as well as Primo. Tonight, in Monday Night RAW’s non-title main event, Miz will face Primo in singles action, just twenty-four hours after his gruelling title defence at Summerslam. These two faced off last month in RAW’s main event with Miz picking up the all-important victory on that occasion, and also faced one another in a tag team match earlier this month on RAW when Miz teamed with Morrison to defeat Sheamus and Primo.

Triple H versus Zack Ryder

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW “The Game” Triple H will take on “Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder for the first time ever, with the Cerebral Assassin possibly looking to gain retribution against Ryder for the comments made months ago by the Long Island Loudmouth whilst Hunter was suspended by the Anonymous RAW General Manager, with Ryder calling Triple H past it. Triple H has only suffered one loss since returning to action in May of this year, that being a tag team loss back at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View in July when Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel of the New Nexus were able to defeat The Game and his tag team partner, David Hart Smith.

John Cena versus Ted DiBiase

The former multiple time WWE Champion John Cena will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he faces Ted DiBiase for only the second time on Monday Night RAW. These two previously faced off on an episode of RAW back in May of this year with Cena picking up the all-important victory on that particular occasion, and DiBiase will be looking to pick up the upset over Cena tonight.

R-Truth versus Tyson Kidd

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the unpredictable R-Truth will take on the last graduate of the Hart Family Submission Dungeon, Tyson Kidd. This will be the third meeting between these two Superstars after they faced off on an episode of RAW in June and a month later on another episode of RAW in July. Truth picked up the wins over Kidd on both of those occasions so Kidd will be hoping to gain his first victory over Truth tonight. These two were also both involved in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was won by the mysterious God of Friday Night SmackDown!

Natalya and Eve versus Maryse and Alicia Fox

Last night at Summerslam Beth Phoenix successfully retained her WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match as she beat both Natalya and Maryse to retain her title. Tonight on Monday Night RAW Natalya and Maryse will both look to bounce back as they face off against one another in tag team action as Natalya joins forces with Eve to take on the team of Maryse and Alicia Fox. This will be the very first time that this match has ever taken place, although Natalya has teamed with Eve in the past, and the pair are actually undefeated in tag team action.

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from the WWE Champion The Miz before he takes on Primo in tonight’s non-title main event. What will Miz have to say about his title defence last night at Summerslam as he defeated both Mark Henry and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match to successfully retain his title? The United States Champion John Morrison also successfully retained his title last night at Summerslam as he defeated both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match.

We will also hear from the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry tonight on Monday Night RAW following his inability to become the new WWE Champion last night at Summerslam as The Miz defeated both Henry and Sheamus in a Triple Threat match to retain his WWE title. Henry will likely be watching tonight’s non-title main event closely as Miz takes on Primo in non-title action. Primo was also unable to win a Championship last night at Summerslam as John Morrison defeated both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match to retain his United States Championship.

Speaking of RAW’s Money in the Bank winner, Daniel Bryan will also be present tonight on Monday Night RAW to discuss his match last night at Summerslam as both he as well as Primo were unable to win the United States Championship as John Morrison won the Triple Threat match against Bryan and Primo to retain his title. Bryan will likely also have an interest in tonight’s non-title main event as Primo takes on the WWE Champion, The Miz, in non-title action. Miz retained his WWE Championship last night at Summerslam in another Triple Threat match as he defeated both Mark Henry as well as the “Celtic Irishman” Sheamus.

Finally, we will also hear from Sheamus as well as Primo tonight on Monday Night RAW as they discuss their failings to win Championships last night at Summerslam as The Miz defeated both Sheamus and Mark Henry in a Triple Threat match to retain his WWE Championship whilst John Morrison beat both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match to retain his United States Championship. Primo will also be in action in tonight’s main event as he takes on the Miz in non-title action.

Quick Picks:

Non-Title: WWE Champion The Miz versus Primo

Triple H versus Zack Ryder

John Cena versus Ted DiBiase

R-Truth versus Tyson Kidd

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Gail Kim defeated Melina in 18:25 by pinfall with a Hurricarana.

Match Rating: D+

Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion The Miz making his way to the ring. Miz says that last night at Summerslam he defeated both Sheamus and Mark Henry in a Triple Threat match to retain his WWE title, and that in tonight’s non-title main event he will defeat Primo. Miz says that Primo should be losing after failing to win the United States Championship last night at Summerslam as John Morrison defeated both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match to retain his US title. Miz says that after defeating both Mark Henry and Sheamus in Triple Threat matches at the WWE Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View back in July as well as at Summerslam last night, Mark Henry and Sheamus should not be allowed any more chances or opportunities at his WWE Championship. Miz says that somebody else will have to step up to challenge him, but that should be difficult as there’s currently nobody on his level.

Rating: B

Mark Henry then joins the WWE Champion the Miz in the ring and announces that, contrary to Miz’s opinions, both he and Sheamus do deserve another shot at the WWE title and that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Miz will once again defend his title in a Triple Threat match against Henry and Sheamus. Henry wishes Miz the best of luck in tonight’s Monday Night RAW main event as he faces Primo in non-title action, and says that he would like to congratulate John Morrison for successfully defending his United States Championship in a Triple Threat match last night at Summerslam against both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan. Rating: B+

RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan comes to the ring and says that unfortunately last night at Summerslam he was unable to win the United States Championship as John Morrison defeated both Primo as well as Bryan in a Triple Threat match to retain his US title. Bryan does announce, however, that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Morrison will once again put his US title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Primo and Bryan. Sheamus says that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defeat both Henry as well as Miz in another Triple Threat match to become the new WWE Champion. Primo then joins Sheamus in the ring and says that he too was unable to win gold last night at Summerslam as John Morrison defeated both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat match to retain his United States Championship. Primo says that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defeat both Morrison and Bryan in another Triple Threat match to become the new United States Champion, and also says that he will defeat The Miz in tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event.

Rating: B

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne, comes to the ring and says that he is very happy that he and Kofi Kingston were able to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships last night at Summerslam as they defeated David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. Before Bourne can say anything else, however, McGuillicutty rushes to the ring and hits Bourne with a Swinging Neckbreaker. McGuillicutty then picks up the microphone and announces that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he and Otunga will once again challenge Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Rating: C

Natalya comes to the ring and declares that even though last night at Summerslam she was unable to win the WWE Divas Championship as Beth Phoenix defeated both Natalya and Maryse in a Triple Threat match to retain her title, she will win the Divas title at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when Beth Phoenix will once again defend the title against Natalya and Maryse in a Triple Threat match. Brie Bella then comes to the ring and distracts Natalya for long enough that Maryse can slide in the ring and hit Natalya with a DDT.

Rating: C-

David Otunga of the New Nexus comes to the ring and says that he is disappointed that he and Michael McGuillicutty were unable to win the WWE Tag Team Championships from Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston last night at Summerslam, but says that after seeing McGuillicutty’s assault of Bourne earlier tonight, he knows that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, he and McGuillicutty will be able to defeat Bourne and Kingston to become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

World Champion Alberto Del Rio & The Undertaker vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson

Last Sunday at Summerslam Alberto Del Rio defeated Edge to successfully retain his World Heavyweight Championship, whilst Ezekiel Jackson failed in his attempts to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship from the reigning Champion, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as Rhodes defeated Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match to retain his title. The Undertaker also made an appearance at Summerslam as well, preaching about his victory over the Big Show last week on Friday Night SmackDown! and claiming that he is the most dominating force on Friday Nights. That theory may be tested in tonight’s tag team main event as Undertaker teams up with Del Rio to take on the team of the “Rated R Superstar” Edge as well as the “Personification of Domination” Ezekiel Jackson. Tonight will be the very first time that this match has taken place, although Del Rio has previously teamed with the “Deadman”, the Undertaker, as they teamed up last month in a tag team main event on SmackDown! to defeat the team of Big Show and the “Viper” Randy Orton.

Big Show versus Jack Swagger

As aforementioned, the Big Show lost to the Undertaker last week on Friday Night SmackDown! and will be looking to bounce back tonight with an all-important victory when he takes on the former World Heavyweight Champion, the “All American American” Jack Swagger. Big Show was able to defeat Swagger two weeks ago on SmackDown! and also has a victory over him from when the pair met at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View back in May. Swagger does hold two tag team victories over the Big Show however as he has previously teamed with both Alberto Del Rio and Wade Barrett to defeat the team of Big Show and Kane.

Kane versus JTG

Whilst Kane’s brother the Undertaker will be taking part in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event, the Big Red Monster will also be in action tonight as he takes on the “Brawler from the Hood” JTG. Tonight will be the first ever meeting between the pair, and JTG should be prepared for a potential wrath of onslaught as he takes on Kane for the first time. Kane was able to defeat Drew McIntyre last week on SmackDown! after previously suffering two straight losses at the hands of his older Brother.

Finlay versus Drew McIntyre

Speaking of the Sinister Scotsman, Drew McIntyre will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as he faces his fellow Brit, the fighting Irishman that just loves to fight, Finlay. McIntyre is undefeated in singles action against Finlay having defeated him two weeks ago on SmackDown! and also holds a victory over Finlay from back on an episode of SmackDown! in January of this year. These two men were also both involved in the Royal Rumble match earlier this year, which was ultimately won by the “Viper” Randy Orton.

Slam Master J versus Adam Pearce

Two weeks ago Slam Master J proved that he is not just a gimmick and that he actually has some gritty determination as well as sound wrestling skill as he took on and defeated SmackDown! newcomer Adam Pearce. Tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! Pearce will take on Slam Master J once more desperate to pick up the all-important victory on this occasion. Since returning to the WWE Slam Master J is actually undefeated on television, having defeated Pearce two weeks ago as well as picking up wins over Claudio Castagnoli back in March, once on SmackDown! and once on the now defunct WWE Superstars.

Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Layla, Michelle McCool & Vickie Guerrero

For the past three weeks in a row on Friday Night SmackDown! Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes have teamed up in Six Diva tag team action to defeat the trio of Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero, and tonight the two teams of Divas will face off once more. All six Divas will likely be looking to impress the reigning WWE Divas Champion, who made a successful defence of her title last Sunday at Summerslam in a Triple Threat match against Natalya and Maryse of Monday Night RAW. Beth has been having problems with Team LayCool and Vickie Guerrero as of late and was assaulted by the trio last week on Friday Night SmackDown!

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will hear from the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes after he successfully retained his title at Summerslam on Sunday in a Triple Threat match against both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. We will also hear from Ezekiel Jackson tonight before he competes in the evening’s tag team main event, teaming with the “Rated R Superstar” Edge to face the team of the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and The Undertaker. Del Rio defeated Edge at Summerslam to make a successful defence of his World title whilst Undertaker also made an appearance, claiming to be the most dominant force on SmackDown! after defeating the Big Show last week.

Finally, we will hear from the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio as well as the “Rated R Superstar” Edge tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! before they face one another in the evening’s tag team main event as Del Rio teams with the Undertaker to face Edge and his tag team partner, Ezekiel Jackson. Del Rio will likely want to discuss his successful title defence against Edge last Sunday at Summerslam. Jackson was also in action at Summerslam as both he and SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler failed to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship from “Dashing” Cody Rhodes in a Triple Threat match.

Quick Picks:

World Champion Alberto Del Rio & The Undertaker vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson

Big Show versus Jack Swagger

Kane versus JTG

Finlay versus Drew McIntyre

Slam Master J versus Adam Pearce

Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Layla, Michelle McCool & Vickie Guerrero

Pre-Show: God versus Quentin Aries

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Quentin Aries defeated God in 18:14 by pinfall with a Brainbuster.

Match Rating: C+

Friday Night SmackDown! begins with the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes making his way to the ring. Rhodes says that last Sunday at Summerslam he successfully defeated both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner, Dolph Ziggler, to retain his Intercontinental title in a Triple Threat match, and that he’s now ready to take on new challengers. Ezekiel Jackson then joins Rhodes in the ring and says that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Rhodes will defend his title in another Triple Threat match against Jackson and Ziggler. Jackson also announces that he will be taking part in tonight’s tag team main event to take on the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and his partner, the Undertaker. Jackson says that he is disappointed that Edge was unable to capture the World title from Del Rio at Summerslam, and also says that he is looking forward to test himself in the ring tonight against the legendary Undertaker, who made an appearance at Summerslam claiming to be the most dominant force on SmackDown! following his victory over the Big Show last week.

Rating: B

The World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio, then joins the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as well as Ezekiel Jackson in the ring. Del Rio first congratulates Rhodes for successfully retaining his title in a Triple Threat match last Sunday at Summerslam against both Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio says that he’s sure Rhodes will be able to defend the title successfully again when he faces Jackson and Ziggler in another Triple Threat match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Edge then comes to the ring and tells Del Rio that even though he defeated him at Summerslam to retain his World title, Del Rio will also be putting his title on the line again at the Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, in a Triple Threat match against both Edge and The Undertaker. Edge says he is looking forward to tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event when he teams with Jackson to take on Alberto Del Rio and the Undertaker.

Rating: B+

The Undertaker then comes to the ring, joining the already assembled quartet of the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio, the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. The Undertaker says that he does not care if Rhodes defeated both Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match at Summerslam to retain his Intercontinental title, and doesn’t care if he keeps it when he meets Jackson and Ziggler in a Triple Threat match again at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Undertaker says he doesn’t care if Del Rio was able to defeat Edge to retain his World title at Summerslam either, all he cares about is defeating both Del Rio and Edge in the Triple Threat match at Night of Champions to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Undertaker does say that he and Del Rio will be able to win tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event as they defeat the team of Edge and Jackson, and that he meant what he said at Summerslam, he is the most dominant and destructive force on Friday Night SmackDown!

Rating: A

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, comes to the ring and says that he is very pleased that he and Evan Bourne were able to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships at Summerslam against David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus, and expects them to do the same when they defend the titles against Otunga and McGuillicutty one more time at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner, Dolph Ziggler, then rushes to the ring and hits Kingston with his Money in the Bank briefcase, likely knocking him unconscious. Ziggler says that at Summerslam last Sunday he unfortunately failed to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion as “Dashing” Cody Rhodes defeated both Ziggler and Ezekiel Jackson in a Triple Threat match to retain his title, but that at the upcoming Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, Ziggler says that he will beat both Rhodes and Jackson in another Triple Threat match to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Ziggler also says that Jackson doesn’t deserve to be in Friday Night SmackDown!’s tag team main event tonight, teaming with Edge to take on the team of the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and the Undertaker.

Rating: B+

The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and proclaims that she is very happy that she was able to retain her title in a Triple Threat match last Sunday at Summerslam against both Maryse and Natalya and looks forward to doing the same at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View as she puts the title on the line in another Triple Threat bout against both Maryse and Natalya. Before Beth can say anything else, however, Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero storm the ring and assault Beth Phoenix, viciously stomping away at the Divas Champion.

Rating: D+

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

WWE Champion The Miz & US Champion John Morrison vs. Sheamus & Primo

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View The Miz will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus and the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry, whilst John Morrison will also be defending his United States Championship in a Triple Threat match against Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan. First, however, Miz will team with his former tag team partner John Morrison in tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event to take on the team of Sheamus and Primo. This match also took place two weeks ago in RAW’s main event, and saw Miz and Morrison pick up the all-important victory.

John Cena versus Justin Gabriel

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the former multiple time WWE Champion John Cena will take on the high-flying and unpredictable New Nexus member that is Justin Gabriel for the very first time. After losing to Zack Ryder four weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, at the end of July, Cena has seemed to have turned his fortunes around and is on a run of three wins in a row for the past three weeks, despatching of Tyson Kidd, William Regal and Ted DiBiase. Can Cena get another win tonight over Gabriel?

R-Truth versus Jey Uso

Another first time ever contest will take place this evening on Monday Night RAW as R-Truth will take on Jey Uso of the Uso Brothers in a rare singles outing for Jey Uso. Although these two have never previously faced one another in singles competition, they were both involved in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was won by the mysterious God of Friday Night SmackDown! R-Truth suffered his first loss since May two weeks ago on RAW when he lost to Zack Ryder, but picked up an important victory last week over Tyson Kidd.

Eve and Gail Kim versus Alicia Fox and Melina

A big Divas tag team match will also take place tonight on Monday Night RAW as Eve will team with Gail Kim to take on the team of Alicia Fox and Melina. This will be the fourth time that this match has taken place on Monday Night RAW this year, with the two teams also facing one another once in February, March and April. All four of these Divas also took part in the Divas Battle Royal after this year’s Wrestlemania, which was won by the current WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix. Will Alicia and Melina finally be able to get a win over Gail and Eve?

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from the WWE Champion, The Miz, before he teams with the United States Champion John Morrison in tonight’s Monday Night RAW tag team main event to take on the team of Sheamus and Primo. At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Miz will put his WWE title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Sheamus and Mark Henry, whilst Morrison will also be defending his US title in a Triple Threat match against Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan.

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Alberto Del Rio will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Edge and the Undertaker whilst “Dashing” Cody Rhodes” will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship in another Triple Threat match, against both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Before that, however, Del Rio will team with Rhodes in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. This will the second time that this particular match has taken place as two weeks ago on SmackDown! Del Rio and Rhodes teamed up to defeat Edge and Jackson in the main event of the evening. Can the Champions pull off another all-important victory tonight, building momentum heading into their respective title defences at Night of Champions? Del Rio and Rhodes have teamed up three times before and have won on all three occasions.

Big Show versus Drew McIntyre

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! the “Largest Athlete in the World”, the Big Show, will take on the sinister and sadistic Scotsman Drew McIntyre in singles action for the very first time. Before those victories, however, Big Show had not won a match on SmackDown! since defeating Ur Hero back in April of this year. McIntyre was also victorious last week on SmackDown! as he defeated the “Fighting Irishman” Finlay.

Kane versus Jack Swagger

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! will see another first time ever match up as the Big Red Monster, Kane, takes on the “All American American” Jack Swagger for the first time in history. Although these two have yet to meet in singles action, their paths did cross earlier this year on a few occasions as Swagger teamed with Wade Barrett to defeat Kane and the Big Show in a SmackDown! main event back in March whilst in June Kane again teamed with the Big Show in another losing effort to Swagger and his partner on that occasion, the current World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. Kane and Swagger were also both involved in the World Championship match at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View back in June as Del Rio defeated Big Show, Kane and Swagger to retain his World title.

Finlay versus JTG

In continuing the team of first time meetings tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! the Fighting Irishman from Belfast who just loves to fight, Finlay, will take on the Brawler from the Hood (that Hood being Brooklyn, New York) JTG. Although these men have never before faced off in singles action they were both involved in this year’s Royal Rumble match back in January, which was won by the “Viper” Randy Orton. Both Finlay and JTG also both took part in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was eventually won by the mysterious God.

For the fifth week in a row tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will see the Six Diva tag team match that sees Kelly Kelly team with Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes to take on the team of Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero. Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will hear from the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes before he teams up with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio in tonight’s tag team main event to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Rhodes will put his title on the line against both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Back winner Dolph Ziggler, and Jackson is also expected to be present tonight to have a confrontation with Rhodes before they collide in the tag team main event. Del Rio will also defend his World title in a Triple Threat match at Night of Champions as he faces both Undertaker and Edge.

Speaking of the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio, the “Mexican Aristocrat” will be present tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as will Edge, one of his challengers to the World title at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when he will put the title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Edge and the Undertaker. Del Rio and Edge will also meet each other in tonight’s tag team main event as Del Rio teams with the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. General Manager Theodore Long. Guerrero says he challenges anybody to face him at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. The “Viper” Randy Orton then makes his return to SmackDown! by rushing to the ring and hitting Chavo with an RKO. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion The Miz versus David Otunga

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View the Miz will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Mark Henry and Sheamus, whilst David Otunga will join his New Nexus cohort Michael McGuillicutty in challenging Evan Bourne and Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Before that, however, Miz must first take on Otunga in non-title singles action in tonight’s Monday Night RAW main event, in what should be a tremendous contest. Back in July Miz faced Otunga for the very first time in a match which ultimately saw the WWE Champion pick up the all-important victory, and last month in a tag team main event of RAW Miz teamed with Mark Henry to defeat Otunga and McGuillicutty. Can Miz beat Otunga again tonight?

John Cena versus Ted DiBiase

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW John Cena will take on Ted DiBiase for the third time this year after previously defeating him on an episode of RAW back in May followed by another victory last month on RAW. Will Cena be able to pick up a third decisive victory over DiBiase? Cena has certainly been on a roll as of late and since losing to Zack Ryder at the end of July Cena picked up victories on every episode of RAW in August successfully defeating Tyson Kidd, William Regal, Ted DiBiase and Justin Gabriel.

Santino Marella versus Justin Gabriel

Speaking of the unpredictable South African Superstar Justin Gabriel, the New Nexus member will also be in action tonight on Monday Night RAW as he takes on the “Italian Stallion”, and the master of the “Cobra”, Santino Marella. Gabriel is currently undefeated against Santino and has already beaten him three times this year on RAW, recording victories in March, April and May. These two have also faced one another in tag team encounters several times this year with Gabriel and his tag team partner Heath Slater as well as Santino and Vladimir Kozlov both failing to win the WWE Tag Team Championships at both the Royal Rumble as Big Show and Kane retained their titles as well as at Fatal Four-Way as Bourne and Kingston made a successful title defence in a Fatal Four-Way tag team bout also involving Otunga and McGuillicutty.

Eve and Gail Kim versus Alicia Fox and Melina

We will also witness Divas tag team action tonight on Monday Night RAW as Eve teams with Gail Kim to once again take on the formidable duo of Alicia Fox and Melina. These four Divas have history with one another but Eve and Gail Kim are currently undefeated in tag team action against Fox and Melina after recording tag team victories on episodes of RAW several times this year, once in February, once in March, once in April and once last week on RAW. Can Eve and Gail pick up yet another victory over their adversaries tonight?

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from the WWE Champion The Miz before he takes on David Otunga of the New Nexus in the evening’s non-title main event. Miz will likely be discussing his preparations heading into his title defence at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View as he will defend his WWE Championship in a Triple Threat against both Mark Henry and Sheamus. Otunga and his fellow New Nexus member Michael McGuillicutty will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions.

Speaking of Night of Champions, RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan will join Primo at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions in challenging John Morrison for the United States Championship in a Triple Threat match. Bryan will also be present tonight on Monday Night RAW to discuss his preparations heading into the title match.

The reigning WWE United States Champion, John Morrison, however, is not scheduled to appear tonight on Monday Night RAW as he continues to prepare for his title defence at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when he puts his title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Primo as well as RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan. Primo is expected to be present at RAW tonight as if Sheamus, who will join Mark Henry in challenging the Miz for the WWE Championship in another Triple Threat match at Night of Champions. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown!:

World Champ Del Rio & Mr. MITB Dolph Ziggler vs. Edge & Ezekiel Jackson

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Alberto Del Rio will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Edge and the Undertaker. Also at Night of Champions, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat bout against both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Before that, however, Del Rio must first team up with Ziggler in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. This will be the first time that this match has ever taken place.

Kane versus Jack Swagger

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! the “All American American” Jack Swagger must take on the “Big Red Monster” Kane in singles action for the second time in as many weeks. These two faced one another last week on SmackDown! with Kane picking up the all-important victory, and have also previously fought over the World Heavyweight Championship back at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View in June which saw Alberto Del Rio defeat Kane, Swagger as well as the Big Show to retain his title. Swagger has previously got the better of Kane in tag team encounters, however, as Swagger and Wade Barrett defeated Kane and Big Show on an episode of SmackDown! in March and Swagger and Del Rio defeated Kane and Big Show on SmackDown! back in June.

Big Show versus Drew McIntyre

Another rematch from last week’s Friday Night SmackDown! will also take place tonight as the largest athlete in the World, the Big Show, takes on the Sadistic Scotsman Drew McIntyre. These two collided last week in a bout which saw the Big Show pick up the all-important victory, can Show pull off another impressive win tonight or will the relative rookie McIntyre get a victory over the behemoth known as the Big Show?

Slam Master J versus JTG

Slam Master J, who originally became “hip” and “trendy” in an effort to impressive the Brawler from the Hood, JTG, several years ago, will tonight take on JTG for the very first time on Friday Night SmackDown! JTG defeated Finlay last week on SmackDown! and will be hoping to build on that win with another victory tonight against Slam Master J. Slam Master J is actually undefeated in SmackDown! competition with two victories over Adam Pearce to his name in recent weeks. Will his streak continue tonight?

Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Layla, Michelle McCool & Vickie Guerrero

For the past five weeks in a row on Friday Night SmackDown! Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes have teamed up to defeat Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero in Six Diva tag team action and tonight look to make it six wins on the bounce as the two teams once again collide. The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix will likely be watching this contest very closely following assaults at the hands of Layla, McCool and Vickie that she has unfortunately been the victim of in recent weeks.

Also tonight we will hear from the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as he prepares to put his title on the line at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View against Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. We will also hear from Jackson tonight and he is expected to have a confrontation with Rhodes before he teams with Edge in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event to take on the team of Dolph Ziggler and the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio will be putting his World title on the line at Night of Champions in another Triple Threat match against both Edge and the Undertaker.

Speaking of the Undertaker, the “Deadman” will also be present tonight at Friday Night SmackDown! and will discuss his preparations heading into the World Heavyweight Championship match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when he will join Edge in challenging Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match. Del Rio and Edge will later be in action in tonight’s main event as Del Rio will team with the SmackDown! Money in the Bank winner, Dolph Ziggler, to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Ziggler and Jackson will also be in action at Night of Champions, challenging “Dashing” Cody Rhodes for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat match.

The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio will also be present tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as will both of his challengers for the World Heavyweight Championship when he puts it on the line in a Triple Threat match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, the Undertaker and Edge. Del Rio and Edge are expected to have a verbal confrontation tonight before they later face off in the evening’s tag team main event as Del Rio teams with SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Ziggler and Jackson will of course also be opponents at Night of Champions when they challenge WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental title in another Triple Threat bout.

Finally, one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, will be at Friday Night SmackDown! tonight before he and Evan Bourne put their titles on the line against David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus at Night of Champions, and we will also hear from Dolph Ziggler before he competes in the evening’s tag team main event.

Friday Night SmackDown! begins with the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes making his way to the ring. Rhodes says that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defeat both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner in a Triple Threat match to retain his Intercontinental title. Jackson then joins Rhodes in the ring and promises that he will be the one leaving Night of Champions as the new Intercontinental Champion. Jackson also says that he and Edge will defeat the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler in tonight’s tag team main event, and that after teaming with Edge a lot in recent weeks he hopes he can defeat Del Rio and the Undertaker at Night of Champions in the Triple Threat match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Rhodes says that Edge simply takes pity on Jackson because he knows he will never be a true star.

Rating: B+

The Undertaker comes to the ring and says that he does not care who wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when “Dashing” Cody Rhodes defends the title in a Triple Threat match against both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Undertaker also says that he doesn’t care who wins tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event as Ziggler teams with the World Heavyweight Champion Del Rio to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Rating: A

The World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio then comes and joins the Undertaker in the ring. Del Rio says that he also does not care who wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when “Dashing” Cody Rhodes puts his title on the line against both Ezekiel Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler. Del Rio does say that he cares about tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event though, and proclaims that he and Ziggler will defeat the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson. Edge then joins Del Rio and Undertaker in the ring and promises that at Night of Champions he will defeat both of them in a Triple Threat match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.

Rating: B+

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, comes to the ring and proclaims that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he and Evan Bourne will defeat David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler then rushes to the ring and once again strikes Kingston in the skull with his briefcase. Ziggler says that all that will matter at Night of Champions is him defeating both Ezekiel Jackson as well as the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes in a Triple Threat match to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Ziggler also says that he will win tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event when he teams with the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio to take on the team of Edge and Ezekiel Jackson.

Rating: B+

The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix comes to the ring and promises that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View she will defeat both Natalya and Maryse in a Triple Threat match to successfully retain her title. Before Beth can say anything else, however, Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero rush to the ring and attack Beth will stomps and kicks, knocking her out of the ring. Vickie then picks up the microphone and says that later tonight the trio will be just as devastating when they compete in their Six Diva tag team match.

Rating: D+

Chavo Guerrero comes to the ring and says that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defeat the “Viper” Randy Orton and prove that Chavo is a superior athlete with a superior family name behind him. Orton, clearly, having heard enough, then rushes to the ring and hits Chavo with a vicious RKO for the second week in a row. Orton picks up the microphone and says that he’s done playing, and that he’s going to pick apart Chavo at Night of Champions.

Match Rating: D+

(Gerald Brisco feels that Vickie Guerrero needs to be booked in shorter matches, as she was totally exposed by the length of this one.)

The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:

Non-Title: WWE Champion The Miz versus Michael McGuillicutty

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View the Miz will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Sheamus and Mark Henry, whilst Michael McGuillicutty will team with his New Nexus cohort David Otunga to challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Before that, however, Miz will face McGuillicutty in non-title action in tonight’s Monday Night RAW main event. These two previously faced one another in a main event of an episode of RAW back in July with the Miz picking up the all-important victory. Miz also holds a tag team victory over McGuillicutty as last month on RAW Miz teamed with Mark Henry in a tag team main event to defeat both McGuillicutty and Otunga.

Santino Marella versus Husky Harris

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the master of the “Cobra”, the “Italian Stallion” Santino Marella will take on New Nexus member Husky Harris for only the second time on RAW this year. Santino previously defeated Harris on an episode of RAW back in July and will be hoping for another all-important victory tonight. These two men were also both involved in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was ultimately won by the very mysterious God of Friday Night SmackDown! Can Santino pick up a win following his loss to New Nexus member Justin Gabriel last week?

Eve and Gail Kim versus Maryse and Brie Bella

Divas tag team action will also take place tonight on Monday Night RAW as Eve and Gail Kim will once again team up to take on the team of Maryse and Brie Bella. At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Maryse will join Natalya in challenging Beth Phoenix for the WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match, so a win for Maryse tonight would likely build momentum heading into the title bout. These teams have previously faced one another once before, with Maryse and Brie Bella defeating Eve and Gail Kim on an episode of RAW back in July.

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from the WWE Champion the Miz before he takes on Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus in the evening’s non-title main event. Miz will likely be discussing his upcoming title defence at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View when he will put his WWE title on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Sheamus and Mark Henry. Miz’s opponent tonight, Michael McGuillicutty, will also be in action at Night of Champions and he and his fellow New Nexus member David Otunga will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships.

A confrontation between all three men involved in the WWE Championship match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View is also expected tonight on Monday Night RAW as the WWE Champion The Miz, Sheamus and Mark Henry will also step in the same ring before Miz puts his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Henry and Sheamus at Night of Champions. Miz will also be in action in tonight’s non-title main event as he takes on New Nexus member Michael McGuillicutty. McGuillicutty and his New Nexus comrade David Otunga will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions.

Speaking of Night of Champions, we will hear from RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan tonight on Monday Night RAW as he prepares to join Primo in challenging John Morrison for the WWE United States Championship in a Triple Threat match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. How is Bryan preparing for Night of Champions and is he any closer to deciding when he will cash in his briefcase for a shot at the WWE Championship?

The other challenger for the WWE United States Championship, Primo, will also be present tonight on Monday Night RAW as he prepares to join RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in challenging John Morrison for the United States Championship in a Triple Threat match at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Zack Ryder will also be on Monday Night RAW tonight as he prepares to take on “The Game” Triple H at Night of Champions. Both John Morrison and Triple H will unfortunately not be present tonight on Monday Night RAW, however.

Before Michael McGuillicutty takes on the WWE Champion The Miz in tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event he is expected to have a confrontation in the ring with one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Evan Bourne. At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View McGuillicutty and his New Nexus cohort David Otunga will challenge Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston for the WWE Tag Team Championships. McGuillicutty’s opponent tonight, the Miz, will of course be putting his WWE Championship up for grabs in a Triple Threat match at Night of Champions against both Sheamus and Mark Henry.

Finally, we will hear from both of the challengers for the Beth Phoenix’s WWE Divas Championship at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View tonight on Monday Night RAW as Maryse and Natalya will both address the WWE Universe before they challenge Beth for the title in a Triple Threat match. Maryse will likely have her friend Brie Bella with her tonight as well before Brie and Maryse team up in tag team action later on in the night to take on the team of Eve and Gail Kim. What will Natalya and Maryse have to say to one another before Night of Champions?

Santino Marella versus Husky Harris

Eve and Gail Kim versus Maryse and Brie Bella

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>Non-Title: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio versus Randy Orton</strong></p><p>

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Alberto Del Rio will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Edge and the Undertaker whilst Randy Orton will take on Chavo Guerrero in singles action. Before that, however, Del Rio must face Orton in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! non-title main event. These two have a strong history together, as Del Rio once defeated Randy Orton to retain his World title back in May at the WWE Over the Limit Pay-Per-View, injuring Orton in the process. These two also faced off on an episode of SmackDown! back in July which saw Del Rio pick up the all-important victory in what was a fantastic main event. Del Rio has also defeated Orton twice in tag team action on SmackDown! as Del Rio and Cody Rhodes defeated Orton and Ezekiel Jackson back in May whilst more recently, Del Rio teamed with the Undertaker to defeat Orton and Big Show on an episode of SmackDown! in July. These two were also both involved in the Royal Rumble match back in January which Orton eventually won.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Finlay versus The Undertaker</strong></p><p>

At the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View the Undertaker will join Edge in challenging Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match but first he must face Finlay tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! The World Champion, Del Rio, will also be in action in tonight’s non-title main event as he takes on Randy Orton, whom himself will be competing at Night of Champions when he faces Chavo Guerrero. Undertaker and Finlay have had historic battles in the past, with Undertaker defeating Finlay in a Casket match back at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View in April and again beating the Irishman Finlay at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View two months later in June. These two were also both involved in the Royal Rumble match earlier this year, which was eventually won by the “Viper” Randy Orton.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kane versus Jack Swagger</strong></p><p>

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! the Big Red Monster Kane will take on the “All American American” Jack Swagger for the third week in a row. Kane has been victorious in the pair’s previous two encounters and will be looking to make it a hat-trick of wins tonight. Before his two recent singles losses, Swagger had defeated Kane twice in tag team competition, with Swagger and Wade Barrett defeating Kane and Big Show in a SmackDown! main event back in March and then teaming with Alberto Del Rio to defeat Kane and Big Show in another SmackDown! tag team main event in June. These two men were also both involved in the World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four-Way bout at the Fatal Four-Way Pay-Per-View in June as Del Rio defeated Swagger, Kane and Big Show to retain his World title.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Big Show versus Drew McIntyre</strong></p><p>

Speaking of the Big Show, the Largest Athlete in the World will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as he takes on the Sadistic Scotsman Drew McIntyre. These two have also faced one another for the past two weeks with Big Show picking up the all-important victories on both occasions. Can Big Show defeat McIntyre for the third week in a row or will the man from Ayr, Scotland find something out of his bag of tricks to pull of what would be a monumental upset? Big Show is undefeated since losing to the Undertaker on an episode of SmackDown! last month, and will be looking to keep his impressive run going tonight.</p><p> </p><p>

Last week on Friday Night SmackDown! the Brawler from the Hood of Brooklyn, New York, JTG took on Slam Master J for the very first time and was able to pick up the all-important victory. JTG is certainly a “Gangster” and has picked up impressive wins over Finlay two weeks ago as well as beating Slam Master J last week, and will be hoping for a third win on the trot tonight.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

For the past six weeks on Friday Night SmackDown! Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes have teamed up to take on the team of Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero, and have been victorious in all six occasions in their Six Diva tag team matches. Ezekiel Jackson then joins Rhodes in the ring and promises that he will be the one leaving Night of Champions as the new Intercontinental Champion. Jackson says that is the Personification of Domination, and the most powerful Superstar on SmackDown! Rhodes disagrees and tells Jackson that he was lucky to win the Intercontinental title the first time he held it, and that Jackson will never hold it again. Rhodes says that he is destined for greatness, and will hold onto the Intercontinental Championship for a very long time, and that Jackson may be the “Personification of Domination”, but Rhodes is the “Personification of Perfection”.</em></p><p>

<em>One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, comes to the ring and proclaims that at the upcoming WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he and Evan Bourne will defeat David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus to successfully retain their WWE Tag Team Championships. The following contests are confirmed to take place on tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night RAW:</p><p> </p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>

<strong>Non-Title: WWE Champion The Miz versus Mark Henry</strong></p><p>

This Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View the Miz will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Mark Henry as well as the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. Before that, however, Miz must first take on Henry in tonight’s Monday Night RAW non-title main event. These two have previously faced off in singles action just once before, with Miz beating Henry in his previous reign as WWE Champion back in March in a main event of RAW to retain his title. The pair have recently teamed up and defeated the New Nexus pairing of David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty in a tag team main event on an episode of RAW last month. This Sunday will be the final time that Miz defends his title in a Triple Threat bout against both Henry and Sheamus having previously defeated them to retain his title back at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View in July as well as last month at Summerslam.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Santino Marella versus Ted DiBiase</strong></p><p>

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW the “Italian Stallion” and master of the “Cobra” Santino Marella will take on Ted DiBiase. These two have previously faced off twice before on RAW, with DiBiase picking up the all-important victories on both occasions, once back in February and once last month in August. Can DiBiase secure a hat-trick of victories against Santino tonight? These two were also both involved in the Battle Royal prior to this year’s Wrestlemania, which was eventually won by the mysterious God of Friday Night SmackDown!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Eve and Gail Kim versus Maryse and Brie Bella</strong></p><p>

At the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View this Sunday Maryse will join Natalya in challenging Beth Phoenix for the WWE Divas Championship in a Triple Threat match but first Maryse must team with Brie Bella tonight on Monday Night RAW to once again take on the team of Eve and Gail Kim. These two teams met last week on RAW with Maryse and Brie picking up the all-important victory, and Maryse and Brie also defeated Eve and Gail Kim in tag team action on an episode of RAW back in July.</p><p> </p><p>

Also tonight on Monday Night RAW we will hear from the WWE Champion, the Miz, before he takes on Mark Henry in the evening’s non-title main event. At the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View this Sunday Miz will put his WWE Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Mark Henry as well as the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. What will Miz have to say just six days before his title defence at Night of Champions?</p><p> </p><p>

We will also hear from RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan tonight on Monday Night RAW as he prepares to join the Puerto Rican Superstar Primo in challenging the United States Champion John Morrison for the United States Championship this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View in a Triple Threat match. How is Bryan coping with the pressure of being the holder of the Money in the Bank briefcase, and will he decide to challenge for the WWE title any sooner if he fails to become the new United States Champion this Sunday?</p><p> </p><p>

Primo will also be present tonight on Monday Night RAW as he prepares to join RAW’s Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan in challenging United States Champion John Morrison for the United States Championship in a Triple Threat match this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Zack Ryder will also be on RAW tonight to discuss his preparations heading into his match with the “Game” Triple H this Sunday at Night of Champions. John Morrison and Triple H, however, will not be on Monday Night RAW tonight as they continue to prepare and train in their respective homes for their important matches this Sunday.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

One half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Evan Bourne will also be at Monday Night RAW tonight just six days before he and Kofi Kingston put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View this Sunday. McGuillicutty will also be at RAW tonight and is expected to have a confrontation in the ring with Bourne, with the high-flyer likely to want to retribution against the Second Generation Superstar McGuillicutty following his attacks in recent weeks.</p><p> </p><p>

This Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Beth Phoenix will put her WWE Divas Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Maryse and Natalya. Maryse and Natalya are expected to have a confrontation on Monday Night RAW tonight and wherever Maryse is these days, Brie Bella is likely to be nearby. Maryse and Brie Bella will also be in action tonight as they take on the team of Eve and Gail Kim in a Divas tag team match. What will Maryse and Natalya have to say to one another before they both challenge for the Divas title this Sunday?</p><p> </p><p>

Finally, we will hear from New Nexus members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel tonight on Monday Night RAW as they prepare for their tag team match this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View against the pairing of John Cena and David Hart Smith. Cena and Smith have apparently been training together in an attempt to learn how to best work as a successful team this Sunday. Slater and Gabriel have been throwing their weight around as New Nexus members recently, and the Anonymous RAW General Manager likely made their match with Cena and Smith this Sunday to give them some competition in the ring to see if they will be able to back up their words and aggression in an official match.</p><p>

<strong>Match Rating: B-</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Monday Night RAW begins with the WWE Champion the Miz making his way to the ring. Miz says that he is not afraid of Sheamus, and that he’s definitely not afraid of the so called “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. Miz says that this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View he will defeat both Henry and Sheamus in the Triple Threat match to retain his WWE Championship once again, and that tonight in Monday Night RAW’s non-title main event he will defeat Mark Henry in singles action. Miz says that what the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus and Mark Henry both have in power, brute strength and aggression, they lack in intelligence. Miz says that his intelligence saw him beat CM Punk to win the WWE Championship in a “Loser Leaves WWE” match, banishing Punk from the company in the process. Miz says that the same intelligence will see him beat both Henry and Sheamus to retain the title this Sunday.</em></p><p>

Natalya then picks up the microphone and says that he and Brie Bella will defeat Eve and Gail Kim in their Divas tag team match very shortly.</em></p><p>

<strong>Rating: D+</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel come to the ring, and the two New Nexus members are quick to smile at the booing audience, as the pair seem very happy with themselves. Sheamus then joins Miz in the ring and promises that he will be the one leaving Night of Champions this Sunday as the new WWE Champion, and that he hopes Henry and Miz tear the hell out of one another tonight.</em></p><p>

Also at Night of Champions this Sunday, Chavo Guerrero will take on Randy Orton in singles action. Before all of that, however, Del Rio will team with Chavo in tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown! tag team main event to take on the team of Edge and Randy Orton. This is the first time that this match has ever taken place.

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! the sadistic Scotsman, Drew McIntyre, will take on the Monster, Kane. This will be the third time that the pair have faced one another on SmackDown!, with McIntyre defeating Kane on an episode of SmackDown! back in May and Kane getting a victory over McIntyre last month. Who will win the rubber match between the pair tonight? Kane has been on an impressive winning streak as of late and has won on the last five episodes of SmackDown! in a row, and last lost a match at the beginning of August to his brother, the Undertaker.

Big Show versus JTG

The Largest Athlete in the World will also be in action tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as the Big Show will take on the Brawler from the Hood of Brooklyn, New York, JTG. This will be the very first meeting between these two Superstars, and it is sure to be a very interesting and intriguing contest. Will Swagger make it a hat-trick of wins against Finlay or will the wily veteran be able to defeat Swagger for the very first time? Swagger’s last victory came against Finlay and since that win he has lost for four weeks in a row, so he’ll be hoping to get another win under his belt to turn his luck around tonight.

Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn & Rosa Mendes vs. Layla, Michelle McCool & Vickie Guerrero

A Six Diva tag team match will take place tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! as for the eighth week in a row Kelly Kelly will team with Kaitlyn and Rosa Mendes to take on the team of Layla, Michelle McCool and Vickie Guerrero. The WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix will likely be watching this match closely before she puts her title on the line this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View in a Triple Threat match against both Natalya and Maryse.

Also tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will hear from the WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dashing” Cody Rhodes as well as one of his two challengers for the title when he puts it on the line in a Triple Threat match this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View, Ezekiel Jackson. This Sunday Rhodes will defend the title against both Jackson as well as SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler in a Triple Threat match, but what will Rhodes and Jackson have to say to one another when they have a confrontation in the ring tonight on SmackDown!?

We will also hear from the “Phenom” the Undertaker tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! before he joins Edge in challenging Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship in a Triple Threat match this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View. Del Rio and Edge will both be in action in tonight’s tag team main event as Del Rio teams with Chavo Guerrero to take on the team of Edge and Randy Orton. Chavo Guerrero will of course be taking on Randy Orton in singles action this Sunday at Night of Champions. What will Undertaker have to say tonight?

We will also hear from both the World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio as well as the “Rated R Superstar” Edge tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! before they face one another in tonight’s tag team main event as Del Rio teams with Chavo Guerrero to take on the team of Edge and Randy Orton. This Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View Alberto Del Rio will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line in a Triple Threat match against both Edge and the Undertaker whilst Chavo Guerrero will take on Randy Orton in singles action.

Finally, tonight on Friday Night SmackDown! we will hear from one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Kofi Kingston, before he and Evan Bourne put their WWE Tag Team Championships on the line this Sunday at the WWE Night of Champions Pay-Per-View against David Otunga and Michael McGuillicutty of the New Nexus. We will also hear from SmackDown!’s Money in the Bank winner Dolph Ziggler tonight as he prepares to join Ezekiel Jackson in challenging “Dashing” Cody Rhodes for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat match this Sunday at Night of Champions. Ziggler has been attacking Kingston as of late on SmackDown!, will Kingston be looking for revenge tonight?
