amazedbygrace86
Hello, Brian! I just acquired FBCB, and after successfully installing the full version, I wanted to update my copy to the latest version. I believe this is 2.2.29, right? However, when I go to unzip this update into my install folder, it gives me this error message about some "osErrorInfo" about Access being denied to the executable file. However, after removing the Administrator privilege to run the file, it still will not unzip the files successfully. Therefore, taking measures into my own hands, I decided to unzip the files into a separate empty folder and then copy and paste them into my FBCB 2010 folder. I only copy/replaced those files which the computer said it needed to. Now, when I run the game, it says that it is operating under version 2.2.29. Do you think everything will be okay from here? I fast simmed a season, and everything seems to be working okay.
Brian Nichols
Yes, that should work as long as you got the folders to paste correctly too. If you haven't run into any screens that the background seems to be wrong then I'd expect that you did it correctly.
