I’m twelve years old and what is this?

 

This is a diary. Okay, that’s quite obvious, so I’m gonna explain a little deeper. Crayon recently released the incredible 9000-verse mod, which features gazilions of characters from anime, manga, comics, video games, the internets and many more. I will book the Touhou Project, a company featuring many of the characters from the Touhou game series. Fur further information on Touhou, I recommend the Touhou Wiki.

 

Wait…I’ve heard this before.

 

Yes, I already did a diary like this before. I used the beta version of crayons mod for this. You can find it here.

 

So, why did you make a new one then?

 

Unfortunately, I got into a phase of life where time was a rare thing and the diary was kinda put on hold. I was trying to get back into it when the release of the mod came closer, so I decided to wait for it and start again from the scratch.

 

Does that mean we’ll see the same thing all over again? Boring!

 

NO! I will not repeat the same things again, nobody would want to read that. I’ll try my best to create whole new storylines, matches, angles, shows, even characterizations. The old diary was the first I ever made. I made a lot of mistakes and learned from them. There will be many things I’ll handle differently. For example, I won’t keep the company “clean” this time around. I’ll hire or fire as I (or my boss) see necessary. You’ll see when you see it. Some things MAY be similar though, I can’t completely avoid that.

 

I’m okay with that. How regularly are you gonna post?

 

That’s another thing I’ll handle differently. I won’t promise anything. Maybe I’ll post show after show without taking a breath, maybe there will be a week or two without any posting. It’s all about time and how much I’m into it at the time given. I really hope though, that a big break like last time won’t happen again.

That bunny chick, can you give her a more dirty gimmick? And give Alice a title belt? And push Rumia to main event level? And…

 

Whoa, wait a minute. You have an idea you want to see used? You have a wish you’d like to see come true? You think you know better what’s good for my workers? Aya Shameimaru: One of the best highflyers in Touhou and managed (and favored) by ZUN. She started out with a boulevard reporter gimmick and still uses some aspects of that in her current role.

Cirno: Not the best wrestler around but gifted with incredible entertainment skills, Cirno gained a cult following that pushed her up the card at the speed of light. She is also the leader of Team (9) and holder of the self-created (9) Championship.

Marisa Kirisame: One of the main stars of the promotion. Unlike others, who had luck and opportunities on their side, Marisa had to climb the card with hard work alone. Has a slightly heelish face gimmick.

Reimu Hakurei: THE face of the promotion. Reimu hails from a wrestling family with a long tradition and is a natural talent. She could be even better though, as she is lazy when it comes to training.

Yukari Yakumo: One of the older girls in Touhou. This fact also makes her a very experienced worker. Her abilities are above average, she is rarely forced to go all out though. God help us if she does.

Alice Margatroid: Being a great wrestler, Alice lacks some entertainment skills to finally break into the main event. She has often worked with Marisa and is still occasionally teaming up with her.

Flandre Scarlet: Not as experienced as her big sister yet, Flandre still gained enough popularity to stay in the upper half of the card. She is the closest you’ll get to have a monster heel in Touhou.

Hong Meiling: Despite starting as an evil foreigner and buttmonkey of the former SDM stable, China (as she is called by everyone) has gained a cult following and got pushed to the upper card regions. Probably the most beloved Chinese in all Japan.

Reisen Udongein Inaba: With her incredebly good looks (even for Touhou standards), Reisen is a frequent face in ads, not only for the promotion. However, she is not just a bimbo but also has a real fighting background. She was a member of the army and is a highly trained sniper.

Remilia Scarlet: While her sister uses the more violent side of the vampire gimmick, Remilia uses the arrogant and elegant one. She was introduced as a fake relative of Count Dracula and gained much praise for her work as SDM stable leader.

Fujiwara no Mokou: Known for her real life feud with Kaguya, Mokou has a history of violent matches. She is one of the more skilled brawlers of the company and continues her rivalry with Kaguya here.

Kaguya Houraisan: Her aristocratic background is more prominently featured than Mokous though not her main characteristic. She usually portrays the “bad girl” when the two archrivals clash.

Kanako Yasaka: Very skilled and experienced in entertainment and in-ring skills, Kanako is the “Arn Anderson” of Touhou. While she herself got helped a lot by Suwako back when she debuted, Kanako has played the same role for young Sanae.

Keine Kamishirasawa: Keine has a real life background as history teacher, which is also used in-gimmick. She is also known for her weird EX-Keine gimmick, which kinda works like that of a werewolf.

Ran Yakumo: Ran is a big reason for Yukaris current success. She works as a bodyguard for her master but also as mentor for little Chen. Her good experience helps her balancing both as good as possible.

Sakuya Izayoi: Another bodyguard worker, though Sakuya is officially listed as Remilias head maid. Not much about her private live is known, but she is a big fan of Dio Brando and has used some of his trademark moves throughout her carreer.

Suika Ibuki: Phisically quite strong for her size, Suika has a major problem, which keeps her away from higher card regions: alcohol. It has barely affected her in-ring abilities yet, but may become a problem in the future.

Suwako Moriya: The methuselah of Touhou. While her best days may be over, she is a very valuable worker, who helps young talent getting over. On an interesting side note, her trademark hat is a huge merchandise success.

Eirin Yagokoro: Although Eirin never reached the main event, she is an important part of the roster. Not only is her experience of high value, but also her real life medical background. She is part of the medical team backstage.

Tewi Inaba: Mediocre in the ring, but underappreciated entertainment skills defy Tewi. If that will be enough to become successful – only time may tell. At least she got to work with higher workers like Kaguya or Reisen already.

Youmu Konpoaku: Came to the wrestling biz through her father. She is one of the very very few examples, when a child takes the parental gimmick and doesn’t completely fail. But is that alone enough to become a star?

Yuyuko Saigyouji: Yuyuko worked with the Konpaku family from the very beginning. She may not stand out much on her own , but her team with Youmu could get a solid midcard spot sooner or later if handled right.

Chen: Still pretty young, Chen has a lot to learn before she can become a player in the game. Her involvement with Yukari and Ran has given her a bit of spotlight at least and she also gained some experience.

Mystia Lorelei: With low in-ring and good entertainment skills, Mystia is a promising young talent. She is currently part of the Team (9) stable and hopes to rise higher on the card through it.

Rumia: An even more talented entertainer than Mystia, Rumia is just waiting to be pushed. She is also part of Team (9) and serves as their butt monkey. If I remember correctly, she is also crayons favourite.

Sanae Kochiya: Trained by Kanako and Suwako, Sanae has the potential to make it. Her career did not have any highlights yet, but the future may look good for her. Her gimmick was based on Reimus by the way.

Wriggle Nightbug: Although she’s not what you would call a natural talent, Wriggle caused some curiosity within the fan community. Rumours spread that she was male, but that turned out to be nonsense.

Fat Otaku: Just the user avatar. You won’t ever see him again, trust me.

Hieda no Akyuu: Hieda has insane knowledge about the history of wrestling and unlike the crap WWE tries to tell you, Hiedas trivia is always accurate.

Lily White: The quirky announcer. At first she got booed for her slightly annoying style, but she became kinda cult after a while.

Patchouli Knowledge: Patchy is actually a good wrestler, yet she is rarely ever used for matches. Why? Because her bad health prevents her from working the way she could. She may enter the squared circle every now an then on a good day.

Rinnosuke Morichika: The male referee of the company. His manliness is often joked about and he created an alter ego called “Mannosuke”.

Shikieiki Yamaxanadu: The female referee. While her name may be impossible to speak out, her sense of justice is enormous. Because of that, she chose a ref career over a wrestling one, although she is still ready to go if necessary.

Youki Konpaku: Despite his looks and age, he is Youmus father. He never made it big himself, but he’s a good road agent and loves to help out the younger generation.

ZUN: The creator of this whole product and the big boss. Despite having some heavy drinking problems in the past, he built up Touhou on his very own. On camera, he acts in a Vince McMahon-like “evil owner” role.

Growing up in the same neighbourhood, Marisa and Alice started wrestling around the same time. Therefore they started out as a tag team in the Indys before being signed to Touhou and receiving singles pushes.

While Yuyuko is a lighthearted person, Youmu is more of the serious kind. It’s like the Marella/Kozlov combination if you will. While this may lead to one comedic skit or two, they fight more seriously in the ring.

This is every heels nightmare. It’s like Hulk Hogan teaming up with John Cena. This is not a regular team, but since both of them love to beat up whoever does evil, it can happen to you faster than you can imagine.

To Chens disadvantage, Ran is almost always busy with Yukari. That leaves little Chen on her own most of the time. The fans pitied her into a face role, which leaves this team in a weird position, should it appear on the shows.

While Flandre is a strong tag partner, Remilia prefers to team up with Sakuya. Sakuya can be pretty scary too, but the main reason is her reliability. She acts as Remilia commands and does not dissent.

I got my owner goals. Let’s see how hard they are:

 

1. When the time expires, TOUHOU must not have fallen below #11 in the promotion rankings. (23 months, 3 weeks – Critical)

 

That could be a tough one. PRC are already very close. I’m forced to have good ratings, which on the other hand is what I want to have anyway.

 

2. TOUHOU cannot fall into debt at any point. (23 months, 3 weeks – Critical)

 

I’ll have an eye on the finances. Shouldn’t be THAT hard to reach.

 

3. You cannot hire or extend the contract of anybody who has a Industry Reputation of less than 53. (27 months, 3 weeks – Average)

 

No problem at all, everybody’s at 100.

 

4. You cannot hire or extend the contract of any wrestler who has less than 53 in Stamina. (21 months, 3 weeks – Average)

 

This is bad. I have 7 girls below 53. That is pretty annoying. Actually, I have to change my plans, now that I need to get rid of some of the girls. But that was to be expected, unfortunately.

 

Oh, I got another one.

 

5. You can’t hire any wrestler over the age of 38. (19 months, 3 weeks – Average)

 

Since female wrestlers retire much earlier, this shouldn’t be of any concern.

Aaannndd then we have even harder one...I give this one to Kaguya based on the fact that Mokou has a tag team going on while Kaguya seems to be purely singles wrestler.

Finally somewhat easy pick, Dwellers are lower midcard team right now so they pick up a loss here.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action and average heat, Fujiwara no Mokou defeated Kaguya Houraisan in 18:01 by pinfall with a Five-Coloured Turtles.

The match was pretty brutal, as expected from these arch enemies.

Mokou is not yet finished with Kaguya and keeps attacking her. They brawl out of the ring and backstage. They eventually reach the dumpsters, where Mokou manages to throw Kaguya in one of the dumpsters. She closes and locks it and leaves, only to come back with a forklift. She lifts up the dumpster and gets off the forklift to throw it over. The dumpster crashes hard into the ground and finally, Mokou seems to be satisfied and leaves for good.

In another part of the backstage, we see Patchouli Knowledge, who is talking to Flandre.

“Listen, Flan. I know that it’s not easy. But you have to remember, being disqualified means losing. So, if you ever want to get anywhere, you have to get yourself together. After you won the match, you can do whatever you want. But as long as it is still going, you have to play by the rules, okay? And don’t worry, if you ever get into trouble, I’m still there to get you out of it. Okay?”

Flandre does not look happy indeed, but she nods her head like a nice young lady, that she certainly isn’t.

“Okay. If you say so than it has to be right, right?”

“Right right. Now, make aunt Patchy proud and win you match tonight, honey.”

“Hey Mokou, what was that? What’s wrong with you?”

“What’s wrong with me? I just got rid of that goddamn annoyance once and for all.”

“Look, didn’t we have this talk already? You got rid of NOTHING and you know that. Next month, it’s gonna be all the same again. She’s out for revenge, you get beat up good and everything repeats over again. Come on, you’re better than that.”

Mokou just walks away, looking pissed.

Mokou pushes Sakuya aside and leaves.

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Flandre Scarlet defeated Hong Meiling in 17:40 by pinfall with a Forbidden Games.

Flandre played around with her opponent, but as soon as she got countered, Meiling payed it back. Unfortunately, Flandre got back on top and finished the match before she could get in danger again.

The commentators are about to talk about the last quarterfinal, when Cirnos music hits. Accompanied by Mystia and Wriggle, she heads into the ring.

“Meeeeeeerry Christmas everybody. Yes, I know, you didn’t expect such a pleasant surprise, but hey, I’m a humanitarian. I wouldn’t let you get home without actually seeing me live. That brings me to a question you are probably asking yourself. How could there be a title tournament without Cirno, the without a doubt best wrestler in the whole company? Well, the answer is actually rather simple. I don’t need that title. I’m already the best and everybody knows that. So what do I need a belt for? Just to show off? No, thanks!”

Some Christmas music is played and SANTA CLAUS! (oviously Rumia in that costume) gets to the ring. Santa has a big bag with him (her) and Cirno looks really excited.

“Holy crap, it’s Santa Claus! This is awesome! Hey, hey Santa. You know I’ve been a really good girl this year, right?”

Santa nods.

“And…you surely have something very special in that bag for me, right?”

Santa nods.

“So…if I ask you politely…would it be possible to get my present tonight already?”

Santa makes clear, that this is no problem and takes a present out of his (her) bag and gives it to Cirno.

“Oh boy, I’m sooo excited. What could possibly be in here?”

She opens up the present to find…the (9) Championship belt.

“OH MY GOD! A title belt to show off that I am the greatest! Exactly what I wanted. Thank you Santa! I’m so happy. This makes me wanna give something too. Hey, I have an idea. I’ll give these people here a present. Since they will have to wait for a new Gensokyo Champion to be crowned until next month, I should give them a title match for MY belt. Right here, right now. Is anybody back there willing to face me?”

Cirno looks at the entrance ramp for about…four seconds.

“Too bad. But I can understand that, nobody would be stupid enough to threaten me to…”

Cirno apparently did not expect this and continues ranting as Reisen makes her way to the ring.

Reisen was very close to finishing Cirno off, but the champ had enough, rolled out of the ring, took her belt and just left.

One participant of the last quarterfinal, Aya Shameimaru, comes to the ring, accompanied by her patron, the almighty ZUN. He takes this opportunity to tell us, what he thinks about the outcome of this match.

“Listen up, everybody. I would like every single one of you to pay your respect to the new Gensokyo Champion, Aya Shameimaru.”

The crowd doesn’t do this, of course.

“Oh, come on. How can you be so ignorant? Do you think, that this girl right here will NOT become champion?”

The crowd agrees on that.

“I wonder how you people got those tickets, you clearly know nothing about wrestling. This girl is the most talented, the most entertaining and the most impressive phenomenon to ever enter the squared circle. You can deny it as much as you want, but the fact remains, that…”

Thankfully, Reimus music ends this embarassing monologue.

Reimu Hakurei vs. Aya Shameimaru

In a bout that featured great action and average heat, Aya Shameimaru defeated Reimu Hakurei in 33:16 by pinfall with a Daymare in the Night following interference from ZUN.

ZUN interfered multiple times in the match. Reimu eventually got fed up with it and tried to attack him, getting attacked herself from behind by Aya, who then finished the match.

With a smirking winner on the ramp and a frustrated Reimu in the ring, the show comes to an end. The commentators tell us to tune in to Cold As Ice, which will be aired in January, only on WOWOW.

Kaguya was pretty exhausted after her match (even the road agent scolded me for that, lol), it was also apparently too long for two midcarders. Hm, gotta keep that in mind.

China and Flan were also exhausted and lost the flow a bit in the middle of the match. Well, neither of them has much psychology.

Oh, and Chen was used too much. CHEN! She wasn’t even booked, but she “manages” Ran. Weird.

The show should have increased our popularity. I guess it’s a good start.

My first month was a financial success, I earned over 80,000 dollars…or yen? The ticket sales were very good and my workers aren’t that expensive (yet?).

As the news will tell you, two workers will be leaving soon. I didn’t expect Shikieiki to fall into the wrestler specific owner goals. That’s too bad, she had story potential. But so did Kaguya. Will probably not be the last sad goodbye.

This years End Of Year Awards were not awarded due to internal problems. The only exceptions are the awards for Match of the Year (won by Doomsday defeating Spider-Man at MDC2’s Pow! held on Thursday, Week 3, December) and Show of the Year (won by Bleach’s Abrigo held on Tuesday, Week 1, December).

The recent poll on our website about the “Best Young Prospect In Wrestling Today” has concluded. The winner: Reisen Udongein Inaba, 18 years old, currently under contract with the Touhou Project.

Kaguya Houraisan’s contract with Touhou is soon coming to an end. It is unlikely that she will sign a new one, since ZUN is pretty annoyed at her bad stamina. He was quoted as saying, that she will never become a star anywhere if she can’t even work 20 minute matches.

After last weeks news of Kaguyas virtually certain departure from Touhou, another worker seems to leave soon. Shikieiki Yamaxanadu, currently working as referee, will most likely follow her. In ZUNs eyes, one referee is enough for the promotion at the moment and her in-ring skills are not satisfiying him.
