stratusfaction Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I'm about to start a TNA Knockout's only promotion and I need some help with overness and such. How much overness should I set this company to? It needs to be high enough to have an hour show on Spike TV on Graveyard. Any help would be great!
ECW 2.0 Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 I'd say sense TNA is high national/low International it woul be about 60 pop across the US
Derek B Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011 TNA is a cult level company who people tend to categorise as being higher than that because they have an international presence. But TNA are no way National in the USA, which is a requirement for a higher size so they should be at cult with some overness in other areas too. The Knockouts are a fraction of TNA's popularity so the size you give them will largely be determined by the network's minimum requirements. I'd make sure Spike will allow Cult level companies on their network (or regional if you prefer some leeway) and that they allow enough TV shows so that none of them will get kicked off.
Teh_Showtime Posted June 10, 2011 Posted June 10, 2011
high regional

maybe like C- pop in 1 area and High E+ in another

stratusfaction Posted June 10, 2011 Author Posted June 10, 2011
What about momentum and how much money should they start with?

Also what should I set everything at in terms of product so that I will have decent match ratings?

ampulator Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Between Local to Regional. If you do it at Cult, it's going to destroy you more than help... and if you do it at National, it would unrepresentative of the situation.
mlp420 Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 high regional maybe like C- pop in 1 area and High E+ in another That wouldn't make sense. They've had national tv exposure so they'd have to get something across the country. I consider TNA about a year of good shows away from being National/International, maybe C- across the country and C in the south east, so I think a Knockouts brand should get maybe D- across the country and a D in the south east.
