Just read through this and I've enjoyed it so far. Certainly a nice, breezey read (I should take note). I'm liking how Sky King is mounting somewhat of a social networking campaign against Kidd and I'm also keen to see how the new blood coming in is mixed into the fold (ADB in particular is someone I so often overlook).

Thanks for the feedback. That tour sounds like something I'd definitely enjoy - I'm a huge fan of both my current promotion ACPW and VWA as evidenced by my previous dynasties with said European promotion!

Thanks for taking the time out to read my work - feedback is always appreciated! As far as my writing style, I try to keep it short enough to read in one sitting but detailed enough to tell a story - hopefully this is obvious!! As far as Sky King and his social media tirades, I felt it was a nice way for an indy feud to develop - Squawker being my re-imagining of Twitter for CornellVerse purposes!! And the new blood, you'll soon see...

I'm hoping to get the show up in the next day or two, so anyone wanting to post last-minute predictions, this is your chance...

Alistair Shufflebottom vs Dagger

We open the night on a positive note with a very solid contest between ‘A-Game’ and tag team specialist, Dagger. The match didn’t exactly thrill the pumped crowd but it wasn’t exactly a poor contest either, unfortunately Shufflebottom suffered a little with his lack of stamina, whilst Dagger needs to freshen up his character it would seem based on crowd reactions. Anyhow, in the match itself Shufflebottom should tremendous ability in soaking up Dagger’s continued brawling and hard-hitting attacks, turning the match on multiple occasions back into a much faster-paced aerial contest. Unfortunately for him though, Dagger could also hold up to this attack and swing it his way and that was what he did as he scored a pinfall victory after twelve and a half minutes, courtesy of his Dagger Kick. Taylor Kidd vs Syd Collier

Moving on to our second match of the night as the inexperienced duo of Collier and Kidd clash. Kidd obviously still feels he has a point to prove with veteran, Sky King whilst Collier is making his professional in-ring debut. The match doesn’t live up to the previous one by any stretch, with the two wrestler’s lack of real support from the fans mixed with the awkwardness of the very much mat-based Collier taking on the high-flying Kidd. This clash of styles ensure that a decent flow is never achieved and that he match plods along without being able to garner any sort of heat. Kidd eventually shows some agility and speed to duck out of an attempt to take him to the mat and scores a very nice looking dropsault. He follows this up by heading up top and hitting a moonsault on the old school styled debuting worker to score the pinfall after ten minutes. (F+)

Montreal Mafia vs Arthur Umaga and Ash Campbell

The third match of the night and semi-main event sees the tag team title contendership on the line with The Montreal Mafia’s open challenge. Ayres and Raisin are quickly out to the ring and are met moments later by the freshly arrived, Ash Campbell and Arthur Umaga, both men clearly playing up on their families’ ties to the wrestling industry. The match itself is a back and forth affair, with Campbell and Umaga clearly having the fans in the palm of their hands at certain stages. This appears to be their biggest advantage as they swing the momentum having gotten the crowd riled up and backing them. Every attempt to drop them to the mat and slow the contest is blocked as the newcomers keep the contest fast-paced and firmly in the air. It is roughly fourteen minutes in when they finally succeed in scoring the win, hitting a double-team move the announcers call the Generation Gap allowing Ash Campbell to pin Dermott Ayres. (E+)

Jamie Atherton vs Jayson Van Pelt

Finally our main event for the night sees the now overdue encounter between Jamie Atherton and Jayson ‘The Sensation’ Van Pelt, having seen their last planned encounter fail to happen. Jamie is dominant in the early going, taking his opponent to the mat and brawling with him in a manner unlike Atherton’s usual offence. He is able to use his speed on occasion, showing great reflexes in rolling out of an elbow drop and similarly in countering a clothesline attempt. However, ‘White Lightning’ fails to maintain his dominance and about eight minutes in ‘The Sensation’ starts coming back at him, hammering away in an ugly manner, more street fight like than his usual calm, methodical chain wrestling. This is his failing point though, as stepping into unknown territory with his attack leads him to slip up and be taken to the mat and upon his return to his feet hit with Atherton’s Lightning Bolt after about fifteen and a half minutes. (D-)

Ash Campbell and Arthur Umaga, both newly arrived in All Canada Pro Wrestling are stars of clear pedigree in the wrestling industry. Ash, the son of John ‘Nemesis’ Campbell, a four-time DAVE Unified champion and one time DAVE Extreme and SWF North American champion. Arthur meanwhile was born into the extended Samoan wrestling family, directly related to Rav ‘Rhino’ Umaga, a two -time GCG World Heavyweight Tag Team and one-time Burning World Tag Team champion in Japan and Malili ‘Akima Brave’ Umaga, a two-time SWF World Tag Team champion and descended from a long line of Samoan warriors.

With both men clearly having pedigree for the wrestling industry, they’ve arrived in Canada hoping to inflict a new generation of hurt on all-comers. Already, they have proclaimed themselves as the ‘New Generation’ with plans to teach anyone brave enough to face them how they’ve been taught to solve problems. Despite each being commited to working elsewhere this pairing has guaranteed that it will bring chaos and anarchy to the All Canada Pro locker-room.

Already these two young men have won themselves the number one contendership for the Tag Team title belts and one can only wonder how long it’ll be before both place themselves in singles title contention. The ‘New Generation’ could literally be running the company within the next year if people don’t stand up to them.

Could we be seeing the dawning of a new era of domination or will these two young men not be able to live up to the hype that clearly surrounds their names?
