Mad Cow Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 I called my base 4-3 defense, man coverage. After I selected the play there was an audible, since they came out in a nickle. I highlighted the nickle db and the name of my nickle db came up. Shouldn't the nickle db have been my third third linebacker? (I mean the player listed on my depth chart as my nickle DB who is my backup safety.) I am wondering how a player was subbed in if the defense called an audible at the line?
