An onna-bugeisha (女武芸者) was a type of female warrior belonging to the Japanese upper class. Many wives, widows, daughters, and rebels answered the call of duty by engaging in battle, commonly alongside samurai men. They were members of the bushi (samurai) class in feudal Japan and were trained in the use of weapons to protect their household, family, and honor in times of war. They also represented a divergence from the traditional "housewife" role of the Japanese woman. They are sometimes mistakenly referred to as female samurai, although this is an oversimplification. Onna bugeisha were very important people in ancient Japan. Significant icons such as Empress Jingu, Tomoe Gozen, Nakano Takeko, and Hojo Masako were all onna bugeisha who came to have a significant impact on Japan.

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center"><SPAN style="COLOR: #000000">onna bugeisha soshiki are a fight organization specialising in Female only combat, they will be using official MMA rules as drawn up by the Chūbu-chihō Association of Athletics and the CEO of Womens Samurai Organization Zhu Tsao.</SPAN></DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 20px; TEXT-DECORATION: underline"><STRONG>Rules of the Hexagon.<BR><BR></STRONG></SPAN></DIV>

<DIV>All the fights will be fought in a 6 sided Cage (the Hexagon), a panel of 3 Judges will score the fight on effective striking, effective grappling (as in take downs), control of the fighting area, effective aggressiveness and defense (as in sprawling and resisting take downs).<BR><BR>

<P>Non-Title Fights will have 3 rounds, the first round will go 10 minutes whilst the 2nd and 3rd will both go 5 minutes.</P>

<DIV>Title fights will follow a similier format but going 5 rounds the first 10 minutes and the other 4 rounds of 5 minutes.<BR><BR>Strikes to a grounded opponent are: Legal<BR>The referee can/will seperate fighters who are inactive<BR>Closing guard while on the ground is: Legal<BR>Knee strikes to the head of an opponent who is on the ground is: Illigal<BR>Elbow strikes to the head of a standing opponent are: Legal<BR>Elbow strikes to the head of a downed opponent are: Legal<BR>Stomps to a downed opponent are: Illigal<BR>Foot stomps are: Illigal<BR>Soccer kicks to the head or body are: Illigal<BR><BR>

What if it was Tamara Buchanan and what if it was a group consisting of Brianna Gleeson, Kiara Espinoza + Naomi Gibson that came together and held the first MMA event and for 4 years they ran Battlecade, with protest from some US senators. Eventually Tamara Buchanan came in with Espinoza and Gibson leaving due to the pressure they were under. Then in late 1997 Rosmira Camarillo ran a series of events in Brazil, the Vale Tudo challenge.<BR><BR>All this happened Women ruled the MMA world but what goes up, must come down and the whole world came crashing down November 1997 the US Senator who had been calling for an end to this young sport 'women shouldn't be fighting like this, this is Human ****fighting and nothing more' yes alot of unfair comments were thrown at the women competing in Mixed Martial Arts and the Senator got his way. <P>A dangerous Kick Boxer, Chiyo Yanagimoto causes a lot of problems for opponents because her 5'11 frame gives her a big reach advantage over most other women, meaning she can strike from distance. Chiyo really needs to work on her Takedowns and Subs is she doesn't want to come accross to one sided. After going out in the Semi Final stage of Battlecade 1, Chiyo went on a winning Streak that as now gone 6 fights including winning Battlecade 5 (after being an alternate and coming in just for the final) and Battlecade 11.</P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

<P>Another 2 tournament winner from the old Battlecade shows winning Battlecades 2 and the Featherweight Tournament at 9 (the only card to feature both Bantamweight and Featherweight Tournaments and the first to feature Weight Classes full stop). Hanako also won a fight on a Brazilian event. One of the first success stories in MMA, Hanako Shimizu is a Muay Thai fighter who is noted for her striking game, which is at a considerably higher level than most of her peers, in particular her brutal knee strikes. Hanako does prefer to fight in the Rings of Brazil as opposed to cages but is well prepared for the Hexagon and her Physical Skills look second to non.</P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

<P>A very dangerous Muay Thai striker, 'The Black Widow' Michelle Addams was involved in the very first regulated MMA bout in the US (in California 1995), just after the 'no rules days and so she is considered something of a trailblazer. Her brand of sharp kicks and devastating clinch work has quickly established her as one of the top names in the sport. After her big win at Battlecade 7 (the first all pre planned bouts before they went back to the tournament cards at Battlecade 8). Michelle also won Battlecade 10: Battle in Mexico before winning an hanful of fights on the later cards.</P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

<P>Yutsuko Sasaki is a decent wrestler who doesn't have any strength in Submission skills but love to pound away at her opponents, she uses her low level of gravity and powerful legs to make her takedowns very hard to resist. Once on the ground then comes the rainfall of nasty blows. She is undefeated fighting mostly in low level Asian events but she did make one appearence at Battlecade 16: The Final Showdown her only fight in the big company.</P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

<P>'Canadian Storm' Erica Page was not only one of the pioneers of MMA, she competed at and won Battlecade 1: The Ultimate Fighter before making another final at Battlecade 5 (losing to Chiyo Yanagimoto, the same Yanagimoto she beat at Battlecade 1). She is a solid Wrestler, at her best when she is close enough to shut down her opponent with grappling. One of the first professional MMA fighters, making her somewhat of a trail-blazer. A worry for fans of Erica Page is her Very Weak Submission, Striking and Muay Thai skills.</P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

Small and powerful, the tank-like Samantha Sachs is an Australian Judoka who now lives in America. Her array of throws and trips are enough to put most opponents on the ground, and her Submission Skills are good enough that she can choke out most people once there.</P></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

Hester MacLean was taught Boxing by her father, former professional and One-Time World title contender 'Dirty' Harry MacLean, Hester MacLean has some of the best hands in MMA. Good head movement allows Addams to keep out of the way of Yanagimotos strikes when she came in close, they end up grappling and Yanagimoto takes the advantage in a little dirty boxing before they seperate around half way through the round. Yanagimoto hits a couple of quick kicks to the body of Addams, then follows up with a couple of strikes as we move into the second half of the round. Addams dodges in and out before hitting a crisp left hand punch. Quickly Maclean slides down and kneels beside Shimizu and starts hammering down with punches, she poinds away and the referee is watching things very closely Shimizu could be in trouble here .. But no she pulls Maclean down into side control to survive, she keeps Maclean from mounting her and tries to transition to a guard. Watanabe often seems happy to let Sachs circle and she is using alot of mopvement but not really getting anyway and her opponent isn't buying her feints, Watanabe counters a jab attempt with a series of quick punches and we pass the halfway point in the round. Sachs takes a jab to the face after she stepped in close, she misses a jab and Watanabe counter-strikes with a straight jab. Sachs attempts another takedown but Watanabe is equal to it and pulls her into a clinch instead and we head into the final minute .. Sachs smothers Watanabe when she tries some dirty boxing, and gains the upper hand in the grapple as a result. Sachs attempts to set up a judo-based throw and she sweeps the leg turning her hip as she does so tossing Watanabe to the mat, what a beautiful hip throw! Sachs throws some weak looking punches while she decides on her next move and the time runs down ...</DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV>Sachs again tries to take things to the floor with Watanabe staying calm and prevents her again. Sachs tries another judo throw after they get into a clinch but Watanabe is ready for it this time and blocks it then takes control of the grapple herself but the grappling goes nowhere and they break the grapple as we pass the halfway point of the round .. Sachs ends up on her knees almost turtled up after her takedown failed Watanabes sprawl was just too good, Watanabe unloads some big rights but Sachs is up on her feet before too many land. Sachs shoots in with just a minute of the round to go and Watanabe tries to strike first but Sachs has it this time, Watanabe couldn't quite stay on her feet. The takedown leaves Watanabe seated with her back pressed against the cage, Sachs manages to push Watanabe sown onto her back but the time runs out ...</DIV></DIV></DIV></DIV>

Sachs is tiring but she still tries to pick Watanabe up onto her shoulder for a slam, Watanabe defends it well though, and slips away from Sachs. Sachs seems to be fighting against exhaustion and she ends up again in a turtle position after another failed takedown attempt and Sachs is stung with several big shots to the side of the head .. <DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">So what did we learn fron obs 1?<BR><BR>Hester Maclean is better than BHK1978 thought, Hester Maclean showed that she has power and with great power comes ... Knock Out chances. It is no coincidence we saw two K.O's at obs 1, and both of them coming from 'The Slayer' taught Boxing by her father she showed great skill in K.Oing both Hanako Shimizu and Michelle Addams before coming up short against the New Queen of the Women Samurai Mizuki Watanabe. So that leads us to a second thing we learnt from obs 1 having a good MMA brain can win out, Mizuki Watanabe shown just that first she outsmarted the vastly experienced Erica Page before going on to face Judoka Samantha Sachs who tried and tried to takedown Watanabe but she beat her with a top quality sprawl time and time again and tiring her out she managed to beat her on points. Then came 'The Slayer' and Watanabe kept herself away from the deadly fists of Hester Maclean and took her to the ground where she had the advantage and a sweet looking Rear Naked Choke ended the fight and earned both fighters the Fight of the Night award.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

Lynda Epsom launches up the MMA rankings with an impressive TKO win at a Local American show. She is now up to #14 and the big bully Wrestler is now 5-0 and is expected to sign for obs to fight at Lightweight.

Watanabe manages to get through inside 3 minutes though and scoops Yoman up and slams her down, Watanabe manages to hit a few elbows and smothers Yoman. With just under 4 minutes left the refere decides they are inactive and stands them up. Watanabe shoots in and takes Yoman down with a double leg. Watanabe is too skilled for Yoman, passing half guard and gaining side control, she attempts an Arm Triangle and it's deep, but Yoman just will not quit ... No! Yoman manages to somehow break free, the hold couldn't have been as tight as it looked. .. Both fighters throw strikes but neither hits a clean one and Hescott shoots in on Takahashi who avoids the takedown catching Hescott with a barrage of punches, although only a few landed. Hescott moves away and is on wobbly legs .. Takahashi hits an enormous right cross, Hescott is out before she hits the ground!</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Shimizu slips past a left jab and fires back with a hard leg kick. Shimizu bobs and weaves, trying to get Sasaki to commit .. A nice feint sets it all up, and Sasaki is forced to cover up in order to withstand a couple of big right hands .. Sasaki catches a right leg kick and and goes for a takedown and gets it! Shimizu has to pull guard. Sasaki pounds away but Shimizu isn't troubled, Sasaki leans back to avoid a couple of wild swings from Shimizu .. The punches are coming from both fighters well into the second half of the round. With 4 minuts to go the referee stands the fighters back up .. Shimizu avoids another takedown attempt from Sasaki, both fighters throw punches but with none hitting clean. Sasaki works in the underhooks and looks to take Shimizu down, she lifts her opponent and drives her down with a Greco-Roman Slam!She gets side control of it. Sasaki pounds away from side control, and Shimizu struggles to deal with them .. But the time is up.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Sasaki catches a right leg kick and goes for a takedown and gets it! Shimizu is controlled against the ground, unable to shift Sasaki off of her. The referee decides it's a stalemate and stands the fighters back up. Shimuzo avoids a takedown attempt. Sasaki manages to stay out of range of strikes until the round is over.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Well it sounded like Shimizu has been instructed by her corner to push the pace and try to overwhelm Sasaki. Shimizu slips past a left jab and fires back with a picture-perfect right roundhouse kick to the side of the ribs. Shimizu seems to want to stand and trade blows but Sasaki counters with a takedown, and Shimizu is forced to pull guard. Sasaki looks very tired out there, But she manages to unload with some big right hands, Shimizu deals with most of the strikes pretty comfortably .. Shimizu works some seperation, then tries to quickly scramble her way into a better position, it's a bad choice though, as Sasaki seizes the opportunity to leap forward and secure side control. Sasaki begins trying to get herself into mount but finds herself unable to .. Breathing very heavy now Shimizu is looking very ragged and the time runs out, that is the end of the fight.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

Having stepped in close they end up clinched, Ukraden wriggles free, but Maclean controls her well and gets in a few close-range punches too. Maclean is trying to push Ukraden up against the cage but she manages to slip out and get away from the grapple .. They slip into a clinch again and using dirty boxing Ukraden gets in some crisp punches, after Ukraden taking control with the dirty boxing they seperate and Maclean counters a left jab with a series of heavy punches, each one landing hard on Ukraden who is desperately trying to cover up. Ukraden gets knocked down and Maclean keeps up the pressure with punch after punch! The referee steps in and she pulls Hester Maclean away.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Watanabe keeps out of range of Takahashis early strike attempts, before managing to hit a strike countering a left jab attempt. She then circles planning her next move, Takahashi tries to not allow Watanabe to settle and Watanabe comes in swinging wildly, using the strikes as cover so that she can shoot in, but she get caught out and eats a left jab. Watanabe counters a weak leg kick with a crisp left hand punch. Watanabe pushes Takahashi up against the cage as the round goes into it's second half, Watanabe gets in her underhooks and she lifts her opponent and drives her down with a Greco-Roman Slam! Time slips away with Takahashi smothered on the ground and Watanabe unloads with some big right hands, but Takahashi deals with them comfortably. With a minute to go the referee stands them back up after a period of inactivity. Watanabe tries and fails one last takedown as the round is brought to a close.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Watanabe stays out of range of a few strikes but shoots back in looking for a quick takedown but Takahashi manages to avoid the takedown. Watanabe is looking to turn this into a wrestling match, they end up grappling for supremacy and Watanabe tries to lift Takahashi up for a slam but she doesn't allow herself to be lifted, and she gets away. We pass the halfway point with Takahashi staying out of range but Watanabe again comes in swinging wildly, using the strikes as cover to shoot in a counter left catches her just above the eye and Watanabe steps away avoiding any further jabs. Takahashi again manages to keep away from another takedown attempt from her opponent. Watanabe though manages to catch a weak right kick to the legs and uses it to go for a takedown, getting it right at the end of the round.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">A jab misses, allowing Takahashi to counter-strike with a couple of hard right. Watanabe steps away and avoids any more strikes but steps back in quick with a crisp left hand punch, a second though misses and Takahashi scores with a flurry. Just into the second half of the final round a takedown is successful, it's a single leg from Watanabe and it leaves Takahashi pulling guard. Watanabe tries to pound away but Takahashi is comfortably holding guard and she pushes Watanabe back to a standing position, but she manages to get back down to secure guard and tries to get into the mount position she attempts to lock in an armbar but showing good defense, Takahashi stacks up Watanabe to defend the armbar, and eventually works to getting side control. And the fight comes to an end.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Sasaki walks into a nice pair of shots to the body before shooting in for a takedown, but Maclean counters with a right hand that catches Sasaki flush, rocking her. A feint gives Maclean the opportunity to score with a couple of tight angled jabs and a scorching right hook to the body. Sasaki doesn't let Maclean settle following her as she attempts to circle out of range and Maclean slams a crisp right into the gloves of Sasaki, but can't follow up and Sasaki shoots in with a takedown attempt but Maclean was too quick and backs away .. We pass the halfway point with both fighters throwing a few punches but none doing any real damage, Sasaki is looking to muscle Maclean back against the cage, Sasaki makes it and using dirty boxing gets in some crisp punches before working in the underhooks and looking to take Maclean down she does it, and Sasaki is in side control and hits a knee strike to the ribs and goes for and gets the mount. Sasaki attempts to set up an armbar on Maclean .. but Maclean rolls with it, using the armbar attempt as a way of getting on top in side control, Maclean doesn't really know what to do from mhere and throws a couple of weak looking punches, before really going to town, she fires away with punches, and Sasaki takes several shots that threaten to end the fight! But Maclean tires herself and sit throwing a few every now and then before the referee stands them both after a period of inactivity, and there is under a minute to go. Sasaki shoots and get caught with a right cross though, and she is momentarily wobbly and the roung comes to an end.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Macleans corner tell her to try and pick Sasaki off with counter striking in this round. Maclean catches Sasaki with a barrage of big right hands and puts her down on the ground! Sasaki shakes off the cobwebs quickly though and forces Maclean to avoid an upkick but she is caught with a nice punch from her opponent. Maclean tries to get into the mount position but Sasaki moves quickly, scrambling for position before Maclean can get a hold. Sasaki manages to come out on top with side control, Sasaki begins trying to get herself into mount, Mavlean rolls to the side to try and escape the mount, but only succeeds in giving up her back instead and Sasaki gets both arms hooked in and gains great control of the body, Sasaki tries to finish Maclean off with a rear naked choke and it's fully applied and Maclean has to tap out!</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">The fighters come together but neither is able to land a clean strike. Watanabe shoots in looking for a close range double leg, It looks like Sasaki is trying to grab a guillotine but .. Watanabe manages to take her down and attempts to pass guard but Sasaki keeps her firmly in place. Sasaki attempts a triangle choke on Watanabe from the bottom but .. Watanabe pulls free. Watanabe gets through the guard and they scramble accross the floor and Sasaki manages to come out on top, with Watanabe pulling guard, after a struggle Sasaki manages to get to half guard .. And we go past the halfway point in this round .. In half guard, Sasaki throws a couple of punches designed to keep Watanabe guessing. Sasaki blocks an attempted sweep. Sasaki gets the mount, and she tries to ensnare Watanabe in an armbar .. Watanabe not only defends the armbar, but also stacks up Sasaki and hits several punches before gaining side control, Watanabe tries to gain mount but struggles and Sasaki uses an underhook to set up a scramble for position .. Sasaki fires off a handful of punches, each easily being blocked with gloves and that is the end of the round.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">From her corner Sasaki is told to try and get Watanabe to the floor in this round. Watanabe moves out of range of a barrage of Sasaki strikes, a couple of haymakers are used to set up a takedown attempt from Watanabe, Sasaki stuffs the takedown attempt and then pulls her opponent into a clinch and begins pushing Watanabe so that her back is up against the cage and using the cage she drives Watanabe down with a Greco-Roman Slam and Watanabe pulls guard. Watanabe applies underhooks stopping Sasaki from hitting any punches until she passes guard and gains side control, Watanabe takes a knee to the ribs. Sasaki seems content to just throw a couple of weak punches as the round closes out.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Sasaki doesn't look like she has alot left in the tank and Watanabe moves in quickly hitting a nice jab and Sasaki looks for a takedown but too tired it doesn't work, Watanabe sprawled to defend it and then works into a clinch position. Breathing hard Watanabe is looking ragged, she uses underhooks to gain solid control, and is looking for a takedown a sweep of the legs and Watanabe lies on top of Sasaki, basically smothering her. We pass the halfway point .. Watanabe pounds away with elbow strikes, but doesn't do much damage, if any, Sasaki is comfortable holding half guard. The third round comes to an end.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">With both fighters looking pretty exhausted they do not have a lot left to give. A ragged-looking takedown attempt from a visibly tired Watanabe .. She doesn't get the takedown, Sasaki was equal to it and pulls them into a clinch .. Getting underhooks, Sasaki looks for a takedown and they are used to set up a trip, Watanabe is left on her back and has to pull guard .. Sasaki pounds away with right hands, but doesn't do much damage, if any, Watanabe is comfortable .. Sasaki looks totally gassed ..Watanabe tries to ensnare Sasaki in a triangle but fails .. Twice. Sasaki throws a couple of punches and Watanabe again attempts the triangle .. And fails again and the round comes to a close.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">Sasaki cannot stop being lifted up and blasted with a Greco-Roman Slam, she can only pull guard! Watanabe has to stop Sasaki from attempting a triangle .. Watanabe attempts an arm triangle but Sasaki stops her from applying it. Watanabe pounds away on Sasaki, but few of the shots lands clean .. The end of the fight is coming and Watanabe begins trying to get herself behind Sasaki, she can't stop it and gives Watanabe her back but the round and fight comes to an end.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">That on any given day anyone can beat anyone. Do we really think Yutusko Sasaki is the best MMA fighter in the world!? The best Featherweight fighter in obs!? Do we think she is a better all round fighter than Mizuki Watanabe!? Or do we think that on that night she proved better prepared, she was more up for the fight, she impressed two judges out of 3.</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV style="TEXT-ALIGN: center">What next for finalist Mizuki Watanabe?</DIV></DIV></DIV>

<DIV>She is still ranked by many as the best pound for pound MMA fighter in the world, she could drop down and easily fight at Bantamweight if she so decided or maybe she'll be straight out and gunning for a rematch with Yutsuko Sasaki, after all she is the Womens Samurai Queen!</DIV>

Big news for June is that the Womens Samurai Organization will be holding 2 events, Saturday wk 2 will see the Bantamweights get it on at obs 3: Bantamu-kyu and Saturday wk 3 will see the Flyweights battle it out at obs 4: Furai-kyu who will become the first obs Bantamweight and Flyweight Champions!?

Both attempt punches and in getting in close they end up grappling and with underhooks giving her solid control Curtis looks for a takedown .. But Page wrestles her into a dominant position as we move into the second half of the first round. They seperate and Page hits a good clean right as they step away .. Not for long though with Curtis again coming in swinging wildly but using it as a fein to go for a takedown which this time she is able to pull off and on her back Page pulls guard.<br id=""><br id=""> Karen Curtis keeps on going for the armbar but not only does she fail to lock anything in Page also manages to stack up Curtis and hit several punches before gaining side control. Page moves into a north south position and fires off elbowss into Curtis' ribs. Page again keeps out of range of one of Curtis' takedown attempts by 'stepping away' and we move into the second half of the round with Curtis' counter strikes proving the difference makers so far this round. Curtis fails at a takedown but does manage to get Page up against the cage and soon has the underhooks and a Greco Roman Slam sees Erica Page taken down. Curtis attempts an armbar but Page rolls with it, using the armbar attempt as a way of getting on top in side control. She throws a few punches whilst planning her next move ... Page unloads with some big elbows, but Curtis is defending them comfortably, Page tries to get Curtis' back .. She gets is and the underhooks are locked in, she tries to get the Rear Naked Choke locked in .. But Curtis doesn't allow the arm under her chin but she can't get Page off her the hooks are still locked in .. When Summers finally does manage to get mount she fires off with weak looking punches and nothing Wareing couldn't handle as we pass the half way point in the round ...<br id=""><br id="">.. But blood is soon visable and it seems an elbow got through Wareings guard and a nasty cut is open above her eye .. Curtis has Summers pinned hard to the cage before unleashing with a copuple of hard rights to the side of the head and Summers again stops the dirty boxing but she needs to get out .. But she switches it, she waited for Curtis to again go for the dirty boxing and wrestled her around and pins Curtis to the cage but the fight is stuck there for awhile with nothing really happening and the referee decideds to seperate them ...<br id=""><br id="">.. For a couple of minutes they battle in the center of the cage both trying to claim a takedown as we move into the second half of the round. Summers grabs Curtis and pulls her down to the ground and into her guard, she brings her legs up and tries to lock in a triangle choke. A scramble ensues and Curtis ends up with Summers' back and a Rear Naked Choke is just about locked in but the round is over .. Summers pulls half guard, Curtis passes into side control but her gas tank looks empty .. A knee to the ribs seemed to of put Summers in real pain and this sets Curtis off and she pounds away and Summers seems to be in real trouble .. But Curtis is only tiring herself out and Summers tries to sweep her off regaining a little measure of composure .. And Summers cannot stop herself from being rolled and secured in side control, Curtis throws some small strikes,but is clearly just taking a moment to try and catch her breath .. Chambers manages to dodge a series of Park punches hitting a crisp left hand punch of her own. Park counters a wayward left jab and hits a stinging leg kick ... We go into the second half of the first round and while Chambers puts pressure on it is Park who hits out with a few jabs. Park is pulled into a grapple and Chambers forces Park backwards and presses her up against the cage. Chambers gets the underhooks in place and takes Park down and gets side control, Chambers hits a couple of strong knees to the side of Park before trying for mount .. Which she gains and pounds away from the mount, but is unable to land many clean shots on Park Seong. Lucy Chambers pounds away on Park Seong, but few of the shots lands clean .. This fight is turning into a real classic technical boxing match and Petrova once again goes for a left jab but Vaughan uses good head movement to avoid it but Petrova manages to dodge Vaughans strike attempts and score a series of quick jabs of her own. Good head movements, stiff jabs and solid strikes from both fighters look like seeing out the round keeping the technical boxing up until Sarah Vaughan changes things up shooting in for a double leg and she does it, she takes down Petrova who has to pull guard. Sarah Vaughan tries to pound away but Petrova comfortable deals with her blows. Petrova throws out some punches from the bottom but Vaughan leans back to avoid them.
