World Championship Wrestling Saturday Week 3 October 1989 Ole Anderson vs. Rick Steiner Comment: The Horsemen are back and a series of wins should set them up as the dominant force in the company. No shame to losing to Ole, especially with some Road(Warrior)side Assistance. The Samoan Swat Team vs. Midnight Express Comment: I'm assuming that the Warriors and the Steiners are going to be engaged over the titles - The Warriors will need someone at the other side of that feud and The Midnights could be a go to team for that. Non Title: Ric Flair vs. 'Hotstuff' Eddie Gilbert Comment: Hot Stuff he may be, but there's not a snowball's chance that he's winning this one. Doom vs. Dynamic Dudes Comment: Unless Johnny Ace starts wearing Spikes and face paint this lot are going nowhere. Terry Funk vs. Mike Rotundo Comment: He's a left field choice alright but it should be a good match between him and Flair. Could a Funk face turn be on the cards as a mark of respect for the gutsy youngster standing toe to toe with him and coming out on top? Lex Luger vs. Sting Comment: Or the face turn could come here... I'm not sure... There might be no face turn for either of course but I just think it's a little too heel heavy at the top.
