North Of The Border Championship Wrestling

This is the place where I will eventually put up all of the title histories, etc. I started with the card before describing who everyone is. This is part of the C-Verse. I'm also not sure if I'm missing a huge story or way of doing things, but I just made the characters into who I think they are based on bio and looks.

Notbpw Week 1

INTRODUCTION

After repeated attempts at working on wrestling dynasty's (including one who's name is the same as this one), I have decided that it wasn't the lack of trying, or the lack of time spent on the project that had me continuously being late on deadlines. As stupid as it sounds, it was the added challenge for me to use their gimmicks in ways that other people would be able to relate to them. I had to keep some sense of realism and where that is good, I don't watch professional wrestling anymore on the national level. I just watch indies – which makes it hard to really relate to anyone on a national or global level with the talent. I don't know the catchphrases of the national talent anymore and have grown tired trying.

That being said, I am starting one here. I know, I've tried several times and I know I am getting annoying. I don't expect anyone to follow along, but for those who do – these wrestlers will be what I see them as. It's why I picked the C-verse to do this in and why I now understand why many other people do as well. I hope you enjoy.

NORTH OF THE BORDER PRO WRESTLING

HISTORY

North of the Border Pro Wrestling (NOTBPW) was created by Dan Stone back in 1985 and almost instantly became the biggest promotion in Canada. Operating out of the Maritimes of Canada, the company had been very successful in their home country which led many Canadian's to feel like Stone should go for the juggular and attempt to be the dominant company in North America.

He didn't.

A move that had many people believing that Dan Stone was content with the direction of NOTBPW and would never allow the promotion to rise to the height of what many hardcore fans of the company thought it could be. A move that made some fans jump to the SWF programming out of spite of the promotion apparently not believing in themselves as much as they asked their fans to.

Enter Travis Thomas, a business investor from the United States who was more then happy to jump at the opportunity to move to Canada and purchase NOTBPW when issued the chance. With Thomas' arrival, the promotion got a little jolt of excitement with the plans of all new everything. The storylines had ended in December for the calendar year, and it was a fresh start for Thomas.

This journal follows the Dynasty of North of the Border Pro Wrestling, a company that Travis Thomas who claims to bring a new day to a promotion with a lot of talent in it's ring and a newly found sense of inspiration and swagger in it's walk.

What a night this is bound to be for North of the Border Pro Wrestling. EVERYTHING gets started again. After months of haitus, vacant champions and the rumor (and eventual confirmation) of an impending sale, NOTBPW gets off the ground again in a rather strong way. This show is set to crown new NOTBPW World Tag Team Champions, and let us know who will be vying for the coveted Canadian Championship, the top championship in NOTBPW. This and so much more, so without any further ado.. welcome to your new North of the Border Pro Wrestling!

Steve DeColt is Tired

The show starts off with Dan Stone Jr's music hitting over the PA system at Caribou Arena and we are off to a brand new NOTBPW. The son of legendary wrestler Dan Stone walks down as Junior is a spitting image of his father at his age. Since Dan Stone Sr's retirement from the business he has let a few fellow un-named investors take over the daily operations, and left his son Dan Stone Jr to work with his brothers and the rest of the family.

Stone Jr. walks down with a microphone and hops in the ring.

Alright, so I don't want to take a lot of time right now but I just wanted to say thank you to my father Dan Stone Sr. As I'm sure you've all heard by now via the Internet websites, NOTBPW was sold and my father Dan Stone Sr. has decided to retire from this business and go on to the next challenges in his life. I just wanted to come out and thank him for everything he has done for me, this business, and North of the Border Professional Wres-

Just then the sound of Steve DeColt plays and out walks the former CGC Icon and currently one of the most debated and hated men in NOTBPW. As he walks out cockily he enters the ring where Dan Stone is just waiting patiently to what he might end up saying.

You know Danny boy, I think we've all heard enough of you thanking your father and kissing his ass. We all know your father is one of the most overrated professional wrestlers of all time, and this company he built is half-rate. The only reason I am even in this building and allowing this company to pay me is because the powers that be at CGC decided they couldn't handle my apparent “attitude”. Then I come here and get hated on for the exact reasons I was loved at CGC and beyond all of that Danny – beyond all of that – the thing I still hate the most is the sound of your voice. Your out here thanking a man who passed you over. Don't you think if he thought anything of you at all he would have given you control of the company?

The crowd begins to boo DeColt as he walks cockily around the ring. Dan Stone Jr then decided to speak.

You finished? The reason I am out here is to pay respect to someone who earns it in this business there Steve. A custom to your not used to seeing because your not a professional. I know why you're out here and it's not going to work. I know there is a legit hatred there, so if you want a piece of me then I suggest you make a move.

Just then DeColt and Stone Jr are brawling as referee's rush into the ring to break up the may lay. The two brawl to the back until they are not see and the camera pans to the ring.

Erik Strong vs. Flash

Erik Strong has been heralded as the future of this company on more then on occasion by more then a few people. He went along ways tonight by defeating one of our enhancement wrestlers Flash in very convincing fashion. Strong moved faster, had better in-ring psychology, and generally looked more comfortable then the rookie Flash. Flash on the other hand had a very tough time with Strong and isn't completely lost in the shuffle just yet. He's a new talent to the NOTBPW roster and someone who could improve. Tonight though, wasn't his night and Erik Strong looked particularly impressive.

|

Decision: Erik Strong in 9:54 with a Strong Sault.

A Little Love for Lauren

The camera takes us backstage to the dressing room of Diva Lauren Easter who is currently in the middle of searching for her hair brush. As she grows increasingly frustrated with the fact that she can't find it, she ends up giving up and pouting. She sits on the couch that is provided in her room and sits there with her elbows on her knees and her hands on her cheeks. She is wearing an incredibly sexy skirt with a halter top.

Just then a knock on the door makes Easter lift her head and tell whoever is on the other side to come in. As the door enters we see Owen Love, one half of the Can-Am Blondes walk into the room.

Hey Lauren, how are things going?

Lauren looks up with a pouty looking face and folds her arms like a little brat.

I can't find my brush and I need to go out there tonight in front of all them people and look disgusting.

Owen Love looks at Lauren who by now is obviously searching for a compliment. He looks around the room a moment to find her brush immediately, sitting on the television stand.

I found your brush Lauren. It's on the television stand. And by the way, you never look disgusting to me. You're the best looking diva we have in this promotion and it's time more people see what I see in front of me.

Lauren looks up at Owen and is gracious he has found the brush. She runs up, hugs him and kisses him on the lips which made for an awkward exchange.

Thank you hun.

Owen looks at Lauren as she turns around and rushes to the mirror like nothing happened to brush her hair. The scene fades out with a confused, and apparently lustful Owen Love shaking his head and turning around to leave.

Canadian Dragon vs. Jason O'Conner

In a fairly competitive match on the Lower-Midcard level, Jason O'Conner and the Canadian Dragon came to blows. Dragon's cruiserweight style against Jason O'Conner's technical style. In the end it was the Dragon who ended up scoring a cheap victory to maintain his stance of “by any means necessary” and O'Conner was left in the ring pounding the canvas as the result of being the latest victim of the Dragon's dubious ways.

| Decision: Canadian Dragon with a handfull of tights at 11:51

Omar Brown and Harlem Hayes vs. The Can-Am Blondes

(for the NOTBPW Tag Team Championship)

The match featured a veteran tag team in the Can-Am Blondes and a newly formed team in Omar Brown and Harlem Hayes, who just last week decided to get out of singles competition and team up together to create some noice in the tag-team division. A smart career move for both, although the Can-Am Blondes have The Natural, and Owen Love – two well respected wrestlers in their own right. Towards the end of the match Brown had Owen Love just where he wanted him and was ready to finish him off as The Natural and Harlem Hayes were brawling in the crowd after the match got quite out of hand. As Brown is holding Love in a facelock setting up for his finisher, Lauren Easter came running out to throw sand in the face of Brown who immediately held his eyes. A distracted referee on the outside had his back turned to the entire thing, and in usual fashion came to notice there was action going on in the ring right in time for Owen Love to score a rollup victory over Harlem Hayes and crown the Can-Am Blondes the new NOTBPW Tag Team Champions as they celebrated with Lauren Easter in the middle of the ring. Only time will tell if there is something between Owen Love and Lauren Easter, and is she their new manager? The Natural looks confused at the entire situation.

| Decision: Owen Love pinfall on Omar Brown after Lauren Easter threw sand in Brown's face. 16:40 to win the NOTBPW Tag Team Championship!

Kristabel Plum vs. Melody

Former Women's Champion Melody started this match with a short promo telling the fans after she was introduced and in the ring that this shouldn't even be a scheduled match since she was the last champion and the title was stripped from her with no regard for her not having lost a match. As she was cutting the promo she was cut off by Kristabel Plum's music. As Plum ran down to the ring, dove under the bottom rope, the bell ringer was on key and rang the bell and an immediate slug fest begin which isn't usually seen in women's wrestling. As the match went on it provided a lot of athletic moves and good spots. In the end it was Kristabel Plum who would go on to win the match and win the Women's Championship marking her first time as champion.

| Decision: Kristabel Plum scored a clean pinfall after a Plum Tucker at 12:44 to become the new NOTBPW Women's Champion

Victoria Stone's Ruling

As the match ends the cameras cut back to the office of Victoria Stone. Stone is sitting there making sure everyone is doing what they need to be on the production team and everything is generally running smooth. All of a sudden Steve DeColt walks into the picture. Victoria sees him walk up on her, looks at him and says..

Can I help you Steve?

Steve DeColt looks very angry at what had happened earlier between him and Dan Stone Jr. Decolt then smirks, looks up and says:

You know Victoria, coming to you is probably a waste of my time. I've got a problem with your brother and I need it solved immediately because I'll be damned if he comes off as the good guy when he is someone who..

Victoria begins shaking her head and cuts off Steve:

Steve, you hate it here. Let's admit that. You don't like working for North of the Border Pro Wrestling because you'd rather be in the SWF and in America. We understand your position – although it makes no sense – we do our best to understand it. Professionally I have no problem with you Steve so here is what I'm going to do. You want to take out my family so bad. Why don't I send Dan Jr and my brother Jeremy out there to tag against you tonight and hmm, let me see who should your opponent be?...

Victoria begins tapping her chin with her index finger:

Johnny Bloodstone.

Steve DeColt looks at Victoria and thanks her. He is going to get both of the Stone brothers AND a legit tag partner in Johnny Bloodstone tonight in an epic Main Event to start the new regime of NOTBPW. DeColt is very happy as he leaves the room and Victoria shakes her head and continues handling the production like nothing happened.

Dan Stone Jr Responds

The camera's cut to Dan Stone Jr who is with colour commentator Tom Townsend. Townsend tells Stone Jr of the news as he was originally just going to talk about what happened earlier. The segment wasn't much of a Q and A as it was Dan Stone yelling wildly into the camera:

Steve DeColt. Steven effen DeColt. You know you come into this promotion and you talk your game like we're supposed to somehow care you've been in the SWF. I've gotten multiple offers from those guys and turned down everyone of them and you know why? Because I don't put money and greed over family Steve DeColt. HOW you're an icon ANYWHERE is beyond me after the crap you just displayed out there in that ring. My Father built Canadian Pro Wrestling, and the least you can do is give me a few minutes to go out there and honor his legacy. Honor what he has done and sacraficed for so many. But you'd never know anything about that Steve DeColt. You'd know nothing of being there for someone, or the trust or loyalty it takes to have an amazing family. All you know is lonliness. All you know is greed. All you know is how to look out for yourself. It's a cold and lonely world Steve DeColt, and you're about to find out in a matter of a few short seconds.

Dan Stone Jr & Jeremy Stone vs. Johnny Bloodstone and Steve DeColt

Hardcore Tag Team Match

As the bell sounds we hear the announcer let everyone know that this match has been changed to a Hardcore Tag Team Title Match. No DQ and no count outs. As the fans screamed the Stone Brothers came to the ring more excited and amped up then before. Jeremy obviously feeding off of Dan Jr's excitement. As Bloodstone and DeColt came out everyone threw garbage at them. Canadian fans are really sensitive to ball busting from someone who used to work with another promotion. As the match went through everyone was getting beat with senseless objects that many people wondered how they even got there. Garbage cans, surfboards, everything that NOTBPW fans were not expected to see and quite honestly very shocked both surprised and horrified. In the end Dan Stone got the pin on Johnny Bloodstone which prompted the place to go insane, Steve DeColt to kick the bottom rope and throw a temper tantrum on more then one occasion, and point at Dan Jr as if to remind him that there will be another day.

|Decision: Dan Stone Jr pinned Johnny Blodstone at 40:14 to win a marathon of a Hardcore match.

The Show Goes Off The Air

NOTBPW WEEKLY WRAP-UP

Your official NOTBPW Source

What a debut show at the Caribou Arena last Wednesday in Maritimes, Canada. I knew there was tension between Steve DeColt and Dan Stone Jr. Quite frankly everyone at NOTBPW knew that there was tension but I didn't think any of us predicted what we seen from Steve DeColt Wednesday. DeColt's actions insulted everyone in the back who has been with this promotion, and who was hired by the ever so humble Dan Stone Sr. DeColt decided to run his mouth and it ended up costing him later on that night in an epic Hardcore battle that lasted over forty minutes!

* In other news, I am not quite sure what is up with Owen Love and Lauren Easter. My sources have told me that they've been sneaking off with one another in the back, but I have yet to see this happen. I caught up with Love's partner The Natural, who told me that he was happy to be a Tag Team Champion but he had no idea where Owen Love had went since winning them, or better yet what Lauren Easter was doing there to help them win the titles. He assumed he was with her, didn't seem angry or irritated, and just was generally puzzled as to where they were.

* The Women's Division is also heating up and oh boy how mad was Melody after losing her chance to reclaim her title. Look, on one hand I totally get why Melody was so angry, but why did she let that trip her up. Everytime she would have defended that title, her status as champion would be in limbo until a winner was decided. Why she let that trip her up is beyond me, but it tells us that Kristabel Plum was as ready as the hype said she was. I think Plum will be a good champion if she can fend off the oncoming challenges of Melody, who still thinks she deserves another shot at what she is calling “rightfully her's.”

* North of the Border Pro Wrestling is under new ownership and we knew this news would shake it up. Why did Victoria Stone put her brothers in a Hardcore Tag Team match out of all of the matches she could have selected. She didn't seem to flinch when she made the match either. She couldn't be bothered with her father's retirement praise by her brother, and seemed generally put off by the whole fiasco. Maybe it was her way of putting a quick fix on a problem she didn't want to have.

* North of the Border Pro Wrestling drew a .97 rating which means that it was seen in over 970,000 households across Canada.

* SWF announced that they have struck a deal with Canada 1-Choice PPV to carry the PPV's in Canada from now on. This means their popularity is going to increase throughout the country. It's also the first sign that SWF is interested in the country of Canada and promoting shows there on a bigger scale.

It's also the first sign that SWF is interested in the country of Canada and promoting shows there on a bigger scale.

yeah I slightly tweaked it. I picked them because I loved that the Stone family ran everything. I thought I could come up with some good things there involving that, and I liked their roster.

I gave it a slightly more modern/sports entertainment twist. They normally don't like angles either, but I tweaked them ever so slightly so I could write a story/angles to go along with this.

Thank you for your comments :)

First, your reply inspires me. I like to know I have someone's attention. :)

Also, I messed up on the forum title. That'd be a big fail. GAHHH is there a way to change it?

Glad to hear that and if you go into edit your first post (if you can) you can just change the title of the thread.

North of the Border Pro Wrestling: January, Week 2

NORTH OF THE BORDER PRO WRESTLING presents

[\CRIME SCENE #2/]

Live on CBN, Wednesday's at 8pm

Pennsylvania Park – Tri-State, USA

Attendance: 1.825

Victoria Stone Press Conference

The show starts off with a clip from the Victoria Stone Press Conference in Maritimes, Canada to discuss the upcoming NOTBPW card Big City Brawl which will be happening next week. The press was all gathered around her, Victoria was up at the podium.

We here at North of the Border Pro Wrestling have been very excited over the past few months planning Big City Brawl. It's been over the course of the last few months that things started really taking shape and things started becoming official. The more things were confirmed the more we were excited. Please note that we're happy for everyone of our events but Big City Brawl is something we here at NOTBPW are looking at as our official coming out party. We're a traditional company, with traditional values and I don't think we will ever be anything too far from that. We're adapting to the times, becoming more aggressive in our approach to this business and adjusting our product ever so slightly with the times. We're looking to satisfy more fans all the time but looking to keep our product heavily traditional.

Victoria takes a moment to pause. As she shuffles papers quickly she begins to speak again:

Big City Brawl will feature a Main Event that I've come here to announce in front of you all here today. Our Main Event will be for the North of the Border Canadian Championship (our most prestigious title) and will pit my brother Dan Stone Jr against SWF Icon Steve DeColt. Any further matches will be announced on the website, thank you.

The camera goes back to the arena where Tommy London, voice of NOTBPW is blown away by the magnitude of the announcement to start this week's Crime Scene. Tom Townsend puts over Steve DeColt and talks about how Dan Stone Jr and his family have shorted him on too many paychecks and that he wants there to be a new era in NOTBPW, and that is the era of Steve DeColt.

Canadian Dragon vs. Flash

This match featured Canadian Dragon mostly, taking about 90% of the offense and really destroying Flash. The Dragon is still one of NOTBPW's mysterious athletes where not many people know about him yet. We do know he has a good moveset with the athletic ability to follow it up with. We look forward to seeing him more often. Flash is still very young and learning the business almost from square one. Flash isn't expected to see a win anytime soon, but he's at a professional level now where he is learning from every match.

| Decision: Canadian Dragon with a Northern Neckbreaker at 7:24 to score the victory.

Erik Strong vs. Harlem Haynes

In a match that matched quickness with strength, Erik Strong took on Harlem Haynes. Strong came off a victory last week and was looking to take that momentum into the match. As Haynes came down he drew a lot of heel heat. Strong tried using his speed but Haynes got ahold of him too early in the match with some powerful moves. That slowed down Strong a lot and gave Haynes advantage of most of the match. As Haynes controlled the tempo there were a lot of natural wrestling moves, and wear down holds. Strong ended up sneaking out a victory when he rolled up Haynes and came away the winner, despite getting pounded on the entire match.

| Decision: Strong scored a quick roll-up out of nowhere at 10:45

A Natural Love

The camera switches back to The Natural, one half of the Can-Am Blondes. He is walking into the arena when Tom Townsend catches up with him. As Townsend rushes The Natural, he is cut off with is first question by the Natural yelling to him:

I don't know where he is! I haven't seen him since we won the titles. Went to the bar and wasn't there, and I have no clue where he is now. I do know we're scheduled tonight, and I know he's always been a professional before, so he'll be there. I gotta get ready, so tell him to come see me if you see him.

The Natural never breaks stride which means that he is beside himself as to where Owen Love is. Natural suspicion says he's with Lauren Easter. Tom Townsend sent it back up to ringside.

Derek Frost vs. Lord James King

The next match seen Derek Frost and Lord James King in action against one another. Both men have not established any sort of presence in NOTBPW yet and it apparently was managements way of trying to give one of them a shot. Frost is a very powerful graduate of the NOTBPW training school. King is a veteran of the indy circuit of the USA and he showed it by his underhanded dirty tactics. Everytime he was questioned in the match of foul play he'd put his hands up and act as if he was above that. The referee bought it until the end of the match when he got into an argument with King over when to break a hold. This allowed Frost in the background to regain his composure and hit him with is finishing move.

| Decision: Derek Frost over Lord James King with a Snow Plow at 9:25

Traditional or Sports Entertainment

Everyone knew there was turmoil in the back. The websites had been reporting it for weeks, and Victoria Stone's press conference confirmed that the promotion was looking to go more into the Sports Entertainment realm. Stone seemed pleased about it and I guess she needed to be given that it was an important press conference to further establish the NOTBPW name again. The camera was following Dan Stone Jr who was looking behind him clearly into the camera with a weird look. Hurrying his pace but having the camera right behind him. It was clear he was uncomfortable with the cameraman behind him. Stone barges into Victoria's dressing room without knocking startling everyone inside.

Are you serious with this guy following me around all the time. We're a traditional company Victoria, not some modern-new age bullshit- Sports Entertainment package. What the hell is going on?

Victoria motions for Dan to sit on the couch so she can talk to him. She goes over to the door, locks it, and then keeps her voice down.

These investors are totally up in my business, talking about how I am the one who manages the company not the one who makes the decisions. I am so mad right now, and they're outside in the back somewhere.I know you don't like the cameras but there guys are more aggressive then Daddy was.

Dan puts his head in his hands and Victoria sits there waiting for him to say something. Dan doesn't know what to say. The product he had grew up on, based his professional wrestling love on, and based his career on was now going to be replaced by some cheap SWF knockoff in Canada. Dan fought so hard for this company because he knew it kept the integrity in professional wrestling. Dan looked up and looked at Victoria:

Well what can we do? Are any of the guys willing to come with us to start a new promotion? Can we get out of here and void the contracts because we could -

Victoria begins shaking her head and interrupts her brother:

Dan, there is nothing we can do. We can live out the length of our contracts here, and make the best of it.

Dan shakes his head and disagrees.

You can maybe. I am not like that. I will fight for this company and I will get enough people on my side to make sure that happens. I am not letting what our father built, what we grew up on – I am not letting all of that fall into the hands of some investors who don't even appreciate professional wrestling and don't understand the consequences of not letting us continue to restore integrity into this business.

Victoria looks put off by Dan's speech. She knows that there is nothing they can do, and she knows her brother. Her brother has always been the fighting type, and the one to go down swinging. She expected this from him, but she didn't expect the war that she was going to have the manage. Her family's reputation vs. the people she has to work with. She honestly wasn't sure what side she wanted to stand on. Her heart in one place, her mind in another.

Dark Angel vs. John Maverick

Dark Angel and John Maverick featured two wrestlers that have been on a bigger level then NOTBPW and been successful there. Maverick in the States, and Angel in Japan. The two formed an unusual pairing but Angel was able to move around the ring real well to counter Maverick's brute strength. Maverick had a problem with focusing as everytime he got Dark Angel in a circumstance that would require him to use a lot of effort, he squandered that chance by talking to the kids in the front row with Dark Angel masks. He wasted a lot of time which probably ended up being one of the main factors on why he ended up coming up short in his debut.

| Decision: Dark Angel defeated John Maverick at15:31 with a Descent Into Hell.

The Can-Am Blondes vs. The Fighting Irish

(*For the NOTBPW Tag Team Championships *)

As we went into this match nobody had still seen from either Lauren Easter or Owen Love. As the Fighting Irish stepped into the ring as the challengers, they awaited as did everyone to see who would be coming out. As the music hits, The Natural came walking out with his Tag Team Championship, ready to go and ready to defend the titles by himself. He was still confused as to where Owen Love was and why he wasn't there. As the match started it was 2 on 1 for the NOTBPW Tag Team Championship. Near the middle of the match Owen Love showed up looking like he had been partying way too hard. As he was led to the ring by Lauren Easter, The Natural stopped as he was in control of the match to look at his partner walk towards the ring in such terrible shape. As the match progressed, the action got out of hand. As Lauren distracted O'Conner, Owen Love cracked him with the ring bell in the back of the head. The fans would go on to show him incredible heel heat as they hated anyone cheating in their wrestling and Owen Love just committed two things the fans hate in traditional territories. Unprofessional conduct, and cheating. As that knocked one of the wrestlers out Love was able to double-team Robbie McNamara and eventually pin him to retain the titles. After the match Owen Love hugged Lauren Easter and never even high-fived The Natural as the heat between them seemed to start a little. The Natural was a little annoyed at Lauren Easter's comfort level as she hasn't even talked to the Natural about anything. Owen Love seems to have put Lauren Easter first, and VERY soon into their so-rumored relationship.

| Decision: Owen Love defeated Jason O'Connor with a Can-Am Blondes signature move at 21:20.

Jeremy Stone vs. RK Hayes

Jeremy Stone is the member of the Stone family that is just there to wrestle. Quiet by nature, Jeremy has just acted normal throughout the entire sale and usually doesn't let too many things get him emotionally involved. He is the quiet one of the Stone family. Hayes came down to the ring with a boxing intro and a badass attitude to go with it. As he looked Stone in the eyes it was apparent he was dissecting him before he even got into the ring. Hayes has an all business approach to wrestling and it's doubtful he even knows what is going on with the Stones, let alone caring about it. There two had a very open match that seen both of them get plenty of offense and keep each other looking particularly strong. In the end Stone was able to get Hayes into a submission Stone Hold to defeat him.

| Decision: Jeremy Stone defeats RK Hayes with a Stone Hold at 11:55

Kristabel Plum Interview

There was video shot earlier with Kristabel Plum regarding the Four-Way Dance that was also announced at the Victoria Stone press conference. Kristabel Plum will be putting her title on the line at Big City Brawl against Sally-Anne Christensen, Lauren Easter, and Melody for the Women's Championship. Here is what she had to say:

When I came to North of the Border I knew the Women's Division got overlooked. I knew that to be the champion I'd have to go out, win the title from Melody who was treating it like a chore rather then an honor. I knew that I needed to re-establish the name of the Women's Division and why not send everyone at me all at once. All Four Women, in one match for this right here. The title that is around my waste. I wish you girls good luck, because you're giong to need it. Melody, as far as I see it I had a title shot against you and you lost it. Whether we both walked in empty-handed or not, I walked out with something and you walked out with nothing. I don't let semantics get in the way of my career. I go out there, give it all I got, and hope it's enough to live and breathe another day. At Big City Brawl, you're mentality should be the same because I'm coming after all of you.

Dan Stone Jr. vs. Johnny Bloodstone

Dan Stone Jr rightfully had a lot on his mind. With Steve DeColt issues, and the issues with the investors trying to turn the product, Stone was thinking about everything but Johnny Bloodstone, an accomplished NOTBPW veteran in his own right. Bloodstone was trying his best to wear down Stone to help his buddy Steve DeColt have a competitive advantage. He knew that Sean McFly was about to do the same thing to DeColt in the next match. Towards the end, a very confident Johnny Bloodstone let his feet up a little and ended up walking into a Stone Ankle Stretch where he'd eventually tap out.

| Decision:

Dan Stone Jr. defeated Johnny Bloodstone in 15:22 with a Stone Ankle Stretch.

Sean McFly vs. Steve DeColt

You can call Steve DeColt a lot of things, but ignorant isn't one of them. This match was a highly competitive match that featured many spots. DeColt went all out in this match as did Sean McFly – with McFly trying to bring it to the outside more in hopes of softening up Steve DeColt for the Big City Brawl match for the Canadian Championship. Towards the end DeColt got tired of getting beat up so he took the ringbell and proceeded to hit McFly over the head with it. The traditional fans who came to see NOTBPW were NOT pleased and therefor booed DeColt's actions out of the arena. Dan Stone appeared shortly after and the two brawled to the back thus ending the show.

| Decision: Sean McFly defeated Steve DeColt via DQ at 8:27.

NOTBPW WEEKLY WRAP-UP

Your official NOTBPW Source

What a show last night in Tri-State, USA. Pennsylvania Park's first ever chance to see NOTBPW but it won't be it's last. We're planning a comprehensive 40-date House Show tour that will be traveling through the States. We here at NOTBPW are excited to be coming to most of the United States.

Now on to the action last night. What an ending to Crime Scene. Dan Stone Jr and Steve DeColt brawling to the back. Fans in attendance hating Steve DeColt for using the ringbell to finish what was looking like a highly competitive match. After we went off the air last night he was telling everyone that he wanted to save his stamina and energy for what really mattered, HIS Canadian Championship.

In other news, Victoria and Dan Stone Jr. are apparently on the same page, but different paragraphs. They're both not happy with the product that the Investors are turning them on to, but Dan Stone Jr seems much angrier then his sister about the recent events. We've recently seen Dan Stone kind of irritated at the fact that the camera's have been in his face so we'll see what happens there.

Are the Can-Am Blondes in trouble? Sources close to us say both the Natural and Owen Love are talking again, but the Natural isn't pleased with Owen's lack of focus on the team and doesn't care if Lauren Easter accompanies them to the ring or not. He just wants Owen's focus on the team and retaining the Tag Team Championship.

North of the Border Pro Wrestling scored a .97 rating on CBN. That is a .07 increase from last week. Sources close to CBN have told me that they are liking the improvement and are looking forward to all future business between the two groups.

Rumors running rampant that the conflict between the Stone's and the Investors who bought NOTBPW are heating up and are getting very personal. The Investors chose to take more of a modern/sports entertainment turn where the Stones are more expecting the promotion to remain the same and keep with it's traditional core values. Most fans are on the Stone's side of things and are annoyed with all of the extra glitz and interviews, while some are more in favor of a change to shake things up. We'll see how this moves forward going ahead.

Word out of Maritimes, Canada (the offices of NOTBPW), Matt Hocking has been contacted about a possible try-out. Hocking is currently wrestling a P.P.A gig for FCW. Hocking is known to be a very resiliant and flamboyant athlete that the promotion could use. More on this if anything comes of the try-out.

NOTBPW and Premier Pay TV (Canada PPV) have agreed in principal to an agreement that would let NOTBPW maintain and build new relationships in other towns more effectively. The deal sees PPTV get 100% of the revenue where NOTBPW will take the increased exposure as their advantage. Many industry insiders are saying that NOTBPW got the short end of the stick – and even going so far as to say they were taken advantage of. Travis Thomas, leader of the Investment Group that bought NOTBPW says that the increased exposure across Canada will give their fans an option. Right now a deal is only in-principal and has been signed for Big City Brawl – just in time.

Steve DeColt has got a bum rap since coming into this promotion and quite frankly I'm tired of hearing it from people. DeColt is a World Class wrestler who succeeded in another promotion. I'm not a hater Tommy, I don't shun him for that. I respect him for that, and I think his actions of hating these fans are absolutely justified.<br id=""> </div></div><div id=""></div></div></div><div style="position:relative;"><img style="float:left;" src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/TommyLondon_alt2.jpg" height="113px" width="113px" alt="Speaker"><img height="20px" width="22px" style="position: absolute; left: 103px; top: 53px; " src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png"><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(217, 217, 217); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 123px; padding-top: 7px; padding-right: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; padding-left: 7px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; width: 300px; height: auto; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; "><div style=""><div id="">Well again, we disagree. Look Tom, Steve DeColt has shoved it in these fans faces that NOTBPW is second rate to where DeColt's been his entire career. He is looking for a fight everytime he comes out here and only looking out for the greater benefit of himself.<br id=""><br id="">Tonight my prediction is that Dan Stone defends his family's honor and takes back full reigns of this promotion and becomes the Canadian Champion! </div></div><div id=""></div></div></div><div align="right" style="margin-bottom:10px; position:relative;"><div style="float:right;" id=""><img height="113px" width="113px" style="float: right;" src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/TomTownsend_alt2.jpg" alt="Speaker"><img height="20px" width="22px" style="position: absolute; right: 103px; top: 53px; " src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-r.png"></div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; text-align: left; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(217, 217, 217); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 123px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 7px; padding-right: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; padding-left: 7px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; width: 300px; height: auto; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; "><div style=""><div id="">Very predictable coming from someone who's been on the Stone's payroll this entire time. I know you're making more money then I am but that's ONLY because I refuse to kiss up to the right people. <br id=""><br id="">I'm more of a realist Dan, Steve DeColt is not only going to walk out of here the Champion, but he's going to start his reign of dominance over all of these so-called contenders here in NOTBPW.<br id=""> </div></div><div id=""></div></div></div><div style="position:relative;"><img style="float:left;" src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/TommyLondon_alt2.jpg" height="113px" width="113px" alt="Speaker"><img height="20px" width="22px" style="position: absolute; left: 103px; top: 10px; " src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png"><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(217, 217, 217); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 123px; padding-top: 7px; padding-right: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; padding-left: 7px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; width: 300px; height: auto; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; "><div style=""><div id="">Now you're beginning to sound like him.</div></div><div id=""></div></div></div><div align="right" style="margin-bottom:10px; position:relative;"><div style="float:right;" id=""><img height="113px" width="113px" style="float: right;" src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/TomTownsend_alt2.jpg" alt="Speaker"><img height="20px" width="22px" style="position: absolute; right: 103px; top: 53px; " src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-r.png"></div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; text-align: left; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(217, 217, 217); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 123px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; padding-top: 7px; padding-right: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; padding-left: 7px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; width: 300px; height: auto; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; "><div style=""><div id="">Whatever. The Natural didn't look thrilled that she was there, but Owen Love's new attitude was enough for the Natural to bit the bullet on. Love promised him before they went out that night that he was more then focused on retaining the titles.<br id=""><br id="">As the match wore on, Mighty Canvanagh was seen visibly tired and sucking wind for the last part of the match. The match overall looked good, and towards the end The Natural got Nature Calls on Brown to retain the titles.<br id=""><br id="">The story of this match was only half over though as the losers of the match Brown and Cavanagh got upset and tackled The Natural and performed a beatdown 2 on 1. The positive is that each woman got enough time to showcase what they could do in this extremely competitive match for the Woman's title.<br id=""><br id="">In the end it was The Natural of all people who decided this match. As Melody and Sally Anne Christensen did battle on the outside. DeColt heard the boo's come his way in full as he entered the ring and climbed to the second rope to let everyone know what he thought of them.<br id=""><br id="">Just then Dan Stone Jr's music hit and out walked Stone Jr to a roar of appreciation for the fans who knew he was the only hope for the promotion to go back to the way it used to be, and rid the Investors of the extra glitz and glamour that NOTBPW tried so hard to steer away from it's whole life.<br id=""><br id="">As the match was a competitive one it didn't get VERY interesting until the end. As Stone climbed the ladder he did retrieve the championship and was awarded the Canadian Championship to the fans amazement and excitement.<br id=""><br id="">As he celebrated in the ring Victoria Stone came down and hugged her brother with Sean McFly behind her. As she hugged her brother she pushed him away out of nowhere and turned him into Sean McFly who hit him with a huge kick to the face. Stone and McFly then started attacking Stone Jr until Jeremy Stone came down to the delightment of the fans and saved Dan Jr. Both looked at Victoria who was laughing and hugging Sean McFly and Steve DeColt. The two stared one another down and the show went off the air.</div></div> </div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 5px; margin-top: 5px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 0px; height: auto; border-top-style: solid; border-right-style: solid; border-bottom-style: solid; border-left-style: solid; border-top-width: 1px; border-right-width: 1px; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-left-width: 1px; border-top-color: transparent; border-right-color: transparent; border-bottom-color: transparent; border-left-color: transparent; border-image: initial; "> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block; "><div style="text-align: center;" id=""><span style="text-decoration: underline;" id=""><strong id="">END OF SHOW</strong></span></div></div> </div></div></div></div></div>

Nice show, i always find it soo easy to read a show done on Crayons Easy Dynasty maker thingy ... I've never played as NOTBPW so you have a reader with a clean slate here .. ALthough i know enough to know you've changed the product slightly. Looking forward to seeing where you go.

Good show dude really like the new format for the shows, however one thing that you may want to look into is that there was a URL that was not found for the match between RK Hayes and Tim Westybrook so we don't know who won other than that it was a good show and I can't wait for more.

Victoria Stone showed her true colors at Big City Brawl when she turned on her family's legacy and company to keep her job plush. Furthermore, she brought along Sean McFly and united him with Steve DeColt to form a strong alliance against what we're willing to bet will be a strong surge from her brother Dan Stone Jr. Nobody has seen or heard from Dan Stone Sr. as he is apparently off in retirement and cannot be reached. He has got to feel ashamed of his daughter we're guessing.</p><p align="LEFT" id=""> </p><p align="LEFT" id="">In other areas of the NOTBPW landscape, the Can-AM Blondes seem to be on borrowed time. As the retained the championship at Big City Brawl, Owen Love left his partner The Natural without congratulating him on the match and at the same time leaving him in a 2 on 1 situation to get stomped down. The Natural was interviewed after that and was not thrilled with Owen Love to say the least. The two keep retaining the Championships but the turmoil that Lauren Easter is causing seems to be splitting the two further and further away. We'll see if they can get this figured out.</p></div></div> </div></div></div><div style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;" id=""><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize; "></div><div style="position:relative;"><img style="float:left;" src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/TommyLondon_alt2.jpg" height="113px" width="113px" alt="Speaker"><img height="20px" width="22px" style="position: absolute; left: 103px; top: 40px; " src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-d9d9d9-l.png"><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-color: rgb(217, 217, 217); margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 123px; padding-top: 7px; padding-right: 7px; padding-bottom: 7px; padding-left: 7px; border-top-left-radius: 7px; border-top-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-right-radius: 7px; border-bottom-left-radius: 7px; width: 300px; height: auto; background-position: initial initial; background-repeat: initial initial; "><div style=""><div id="">Good Evening everyone! In the end though, it was Easter who pinned Plum after a Belly-to-Belly suplex that looked beautiful.<br id=""><br id=""><strong id="">| Decision: </strong>Lauren Easter pinned Kristabel Plum with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex in 18:27. </div></div> </div></div></div><div style="padding:0 5px;overflow:hidden;" id=""><div id=""><div style="height: 18px; cursor: n-resize; "></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 5px; border-top-style: solid; border-right-style: solid; border-bottom-style: solid; border-left-style: solid; border-top-width: 1px; border-right-width: 1px; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-left-width: 1px; border-top-color: transparent; border-right-color: transparent; border-bottom-color: transparent; border-left-color: transparent; border-image: initial; "><div style="padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 5px; display: block; "><div align="center" style="position:relative;z-index:2;" id=""><img style="margin-right: 25px; width: 150px; height: 150px; " src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/JohnMaverick.jpg" width="150px" height="150px" alt="Participant 1"><img style="margin-left: 25px; width: 150px; height: 150px; " src="http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh232/tobin834/SeanMcFly.jpg" width="150px" height="150px" alt="Participant 2"><img style="position:absolute;right:259px;top:-20px" alt="Versus" src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/content/public/versus/lgvs_alt04.png" title="Versus"><div style="position:absolute;left:445px;top:55px;"><img width="211px" height="117px" alt="grade" src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/content/public/grades/crazy/b-.png" title="grade"></div><div style="margin-top: 5px; height: auto; "><div style="font-size: 24px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block; "><div style="text-align: left;" id="">                           John Maverick           Sean McFly</div></div></div></div></div></div><div style="clear: both; position: relative; padding-top: 5px; padding-right: 5px; padding-bottom: 5px; padding-left: 5px; margin-top: 5px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-left: 0px; background-color: rgb(217, 217, 217); height: auto; border-top-style: solid; border-right-style: solid; border-bottom-style: solid; border-left-style: solid; border-top-width: 1px; border-right-width: 1px; border-bottom-width: 1px; border-left-width: 1px; border-top-color: transparent; border-right-color: transparent; border-bottom-color: transparent; border-left-color: transparent; border-image: initial; "> <div style="font-size: 16px; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; display: block; "><div id="">John Maverick came to NOTBPW trying to make the mistakes of his past title run in another promotion go away, and give the fans a new memory of him. Tonight he worked Sean McFly who came down to a thunderous amount of boo's. Formerly one of the most popular people in the promotion, McFly turned to the enemy and followed his wife Victoria Stone which was no surprise to lead the Investors.<br id=""><br id="">Fans seen Maverick as the first chance to teach McFly a lesson but he fell short.
