Following their very public falling out with their father, Richard Eisen and their subsequent firing from Supreme Wrestling Federation. Eric and Jerry Eisen proudly confirm the formation of the Eisen Broadcasting Company and with it, the birth of World Championship Wrestling.

The brothers also announced a deal with the NCTV to air all WCW TV shows whilst Premier Pay TV will show all Pay-Per-View events. The company plan on having the roster and TV Show ready for the spring TV season.

WCW will offer wrestling fans with the an up to date modern take on the more traditional aspects of wrestling whilst not going completely into the realms of sports entertainment. A couple of independent wrestlers already being rumoured to be with WCW are James Prudence, Tayler Morton a.k.a Acid, Donnie J and John Pathlow, whilst several talents from the big two are apparently looking at jumping ship to go to WCW.

More information as we get it.

Some more news coming out of World Championship Wrestling is that they have made their first several signings with James Prudence, Tayler Morton, Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler all signing on with the company.

“It was an easy decision to join WCW, I’d actually spoke to Jerry a couple of weeks back when he personally come to see me backstage at CZCW Revolution about possibly working for him and Eric at WCW but asked me to keep quiet about hat we spoke about.” said James Prudence. Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler, who go by the name the ring generals in NYCW were said to be extremely excited about the prospect of working for such a promotion.

World Championship Wrestling seems to be making some great moves as of late, and the big two should be keeping their eyes open and their ears to the ground when it any sort of news coming out of WCW.

TWN: So can you tell us and the fans out there how World Championship Wrestling came to be?

JE: It’s pretty simple how it came to be myself and Eric weren’t going to sit about and not doing anything after our father fired us from SWF but at the same timewe weren’t going to join TCW or USPW. We wanted to do our thing and that’s how the Eisen Broadcasting Company came to be and eventually WCW also came from that.

TWN: So you’re saying you had offers from TCW and USPW?

EE: Yeah we had offers why wouldn’t we? We were just riding a massive wave of momentum because of how public our dismissal was, that alone would have drawn fans to the shows. Sam(Strong) over at USPW was willing to all but double the money I was getting SWF, but I don’t quite think I’m very to go to the retirement home just yet. Do you?

TWN: Haha I have to stay neutral during Eric, Eisens have quite the reputation for being quite difficult to work with and work for, would you say that’s a brush you’d want to be tarred with?

JE: I wouldn’t say we are difficult to work for, we’re just business driven, this business is all about making money and unfortunately if you’re not performing up to standard and pulling in fans and making money then you’re not going to be around for long.

EE: Exactly…

TWN: So what can we expect to see from WCW?

EE: everything that makes wrestling what it is, from high flyers and women’s wrestling to hardcore and traditional wrestling.

TWN: Any surprise names we should be expecting in WCW?

TWN: Well guys that’s all we have time for , thank you.

JE: Thank you for having us.

EE: Yeah thanks.

The Eisen boys seem to be continuing to make great strides though they are keeping their cards very close to their chests. Keep checking TotalWrestlingNews.com for all your latest wrestling news.
