WWE Smackdown!

Friday Week 2 March 2011 (Taped On Tuesday)

Location: MS Kansas City Municipal Arena (Mid South)

Attendance: 7,264

Overall Rating: B+

TV Rating: 4.47

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RandyOrton.jpg

[WWE Smackdown in the Municipal Arena in Kansas City opens with 'Voices' by Rev Theory playing in the background. Josh Matthews and Matt Striker welcome everyone to SyFy on Friday night as 'The Viper' Randy Orton walks his way down to the ring. Orton passes a fan holding up a sign reading: 'Smackdown! Needs More Miz!' Orton enters the ring and declares that tonight begins the domination of Smackdown in the WWE, especially now that he is here on Friday nights. Tonight, he announces, he is going to be the first member of Team Smackdown to face a member of Team Raw as we head toward WrestleMania. As a matter of fact, he wants to know who he is going to be facing tonight. So he invites the member of Team Raw to come out to the ring and look him in the eyes.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/WilliamRegal.jpg

[Out from the back comes the 'Blue Blood' William Regal! Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown, William Regal. Regal enters the ring and comes face to face with the Viper without backing down. Regal says that tonight they are going to have their match but things are going to go differently than this toerag Randy Orton believes. He is going to win things on Smackdown for Team Raw, the best show in the WWE Universe. Orton stares down at Regal and his microphone slips from his fingers. The brawl begins between the two inside the ring, broken up by officials. The two men stare at each other as they are held back. These two men will face each other later on tonight!]

Match #1

World's Greatest Tag Team vs. Tajiri and Shark Boy

[Our opening contest is an interesting tag team competition as the team known as the World's Greatest Tag Team faces off with Tajiri and Shark Boy. The tag team contest is extremely short and is mostly dominated by the talents of Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas. Benjamin shows some power when he raises Shark Boy in a power bomb position and adds to it by bouncing him off the turnbuckles and then down to the mat. Benjamin catches Shark Boy with the jumping reverse STO known as Paydirt and then makes the cover as Haas comes in and knocks Tajiri off the apron: 1 -- 2 -- 3! A big win for the World's Greatest Tag Team!]

Winners: World's Greatest Tag Team (Via Pinfall @ 5:12)

Match Rating: C+

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/PaulBearer.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DrewMcIntyre.jpg

[We are taken to the backstage area shortly after the pinfall where we capture Paul Bearer walking down a hallway. He is clutching the urn tight against his chest as he walks. He pauses as though he hears a noise, turning his head to look off to the side. When his vision re-centers he has come face to face with Drew McIntyre! McIntyre slowly smiles an almost evil smile, grabbing Bearer by the arm. He tugs on Kane's father, abducting him from the area and disappearing down another hallway as we move to another video.]

[This hype video features a man working out in a darkened area. He is lifting more and more weights as the video continues. Then the video moves to this wrestler in the WWE ring. An announcer states that this man is a former WWE Intercontinental champion, a former WWE Tag Team champion and a former WWE King of the Ring. This man is shown locking on a rear naked choke and then the ankle lock! Out of the shadows and forward walks this man who is returning to the WWE:

The FBI vs. Rey Mysterio and Batista

[Our second match of the evening is a definite increase from the first match. It has good action but not much in the way of crowd involvement as two members of Team Smackdown team up to face the Full Blooded Italians. Nunzio and Tony Mamaluke have the advantage in tag team experience and it shows in the early goings when they get Rey in their corner and double-team him time and time again. Rey is tough, though, and, while the FBI score several near falls, they cannot get the deciding pinfall on him. The tide is turned when Nunzio goes for a missle dropkick and it misses. Mysterio crawls over and tags in the powerhouse: Batista. Batista brings down both FBI members with clotheslines and then brings down Nunzio with a big boot. He grabs Tony and hooks him in a powerbomb -- triple powerbomb! Mamaluke is crushed! Batista signals and then hooks Mamaluke -- Batista Bomb! Batista hooks the legs: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Rey Mysterio and Batista (Via Pinfall @ 8:54)

Match Rating: B

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RandyOrton.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/WilliamRegal.jpg

[A graphic is shown on the screen as announcers talk about one of the main matches signed for this evening. It is going to be Team Smackdown versus Team Raw as Randy Orton takes on William Regal! And that's exclusively right here tonight on the SyFy network and Smackdown!]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Kane.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BookerT.jpg

[We move backstage where we follow over the shoulder of a very angry 'Devil's Favorite Demon.' Kane is shown moving down a hallway backstage, threatening the lives of our backstage staff as he tries to find out what happened to Paul Bearer. Kane turns a corner and runs into the veteran Booker T. Kane asks Booker if he knows where Paul Bearer is. Booker denies knowing but Kane doesn't believe him. Kane assaults Booker T with a stiff punch and then a clothesline. Booker tries to cover up as Kane puts the boots to him. Kane picks up the former World champion and tosses him against the wall! The Monster chokes Booker T down to the ground and then finally releases him, walking away and continuing the hunt for Paul Bearer.]

Match #3

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TysonTomko.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/WadeBarrett.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BigShow.jpg

Tomko vs. Big Show

[Our next match is one that was challenged for last week between two of the larger athletes in WWE history. Both men are athletic for their size and that brings some good action in the ring as neither man wants to show any type of fear for the other. At one point Show gets knocked out of the ring and Wade Barrett takes advantage, striking Show with kicks to the ribs. He tosses Show back in the ring where Tomko gets a two count. The match continues and Show begins firing back. He catches Tomko with a reverse avalanche in the corner and seems prepared to hit Tomko with the Chokeslam but Wade Barrett enters the ring, striking Show with a clip to the back of the knee, causing a disqualification.]

Winner: Big Show (Via Disqualification @ 6:31)

Match Rating: B-

[The bell sounded but the action in the ring did not stop. Wade Barrett puts the boots to the right leg of Big Show. Wade turns Show over onto his back and then climbs the turnbuckles. Tomko holds Show down as Wade prepares on the top turnbuckle. Barrett leaps -- kneedrop on the leg of Big Show! The crowd boos as Wade Barrett rises to his feet, standing over the fallen form of Big Show. Barrett raises his arms as Tomko stands stoically beside him.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DolphZiggler.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JackSwagger.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Edge.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Christian.jpg

[As Wade Barrett celebrates in the ring, we are taken to another graphic. This one, along with our announcers, states that tonight our main event will be Dolph Ziggler teaming with 'The All American-American' Jack Swagger against WWE World champion Edge and #1 contender Christian! What a main event that should be right here on Smackdown!]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Edge.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Christian.jpg

[speaking of the WWE World Champion and the #1 contender, we are taken to the backstage area where Edge and Christian are discussing this match inside of a locker room area. Edge states that tonight is going to be like old times. 'The Rated R Superstar' and 'Captain Charisma' as a team one more time as we move toward WrestleMania. Christian nods and looks Edge in the eyes, stating that they're teammates tonight but at WrestleMania he's not holding back just because of their friendship. Edge tells him to bring it. The two men go nose to nose and we fade to the ring.]

Match #4

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/SoCalVal.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Natalya.jpg

Non Title

So Cal Val vs. Natalya

[A non title match here tonight as the WWE Diva's match at WrestleMania is all set with Natalya defending the belt against Beth Phoenix and Kharma. These two women actually showed great chemistry in the ring in what was a bout with solid in-ring action but not much in the way of crowd response. The redhead, Val, shows some brief skill in the ring, actually scoring a near fall on the WWE Diva's champion. But in the end it's Natalya showing off her skill as a second generation competitor. Natalya strikes Val with a couple of suplexes and then hooks her up with the Sharpshooter. Within moments, Val is tapping out to the WWE Diva's champion.]

Winner: Natalya (Via Submission @ 6:05)

Match Rating: C+

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/AlbertoDelRio.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RicardoRodriguez.jpg

[After the ring is cleared, the crowd boos as Ricardo Rodriguez comes down to the ring and announces the entrance of Alberto Del Rio! Del Rio comes out in another expensive car and then enters the ring all smiles. He is handed the microphone by Ricardo and begins talking about that little dog, that perrito: The Undertaker. He says that The Undertaker has been intimidating people all his career but that he is not scared of him at all. Why should he be? After all, it is Alberto Del Rio's destiny to break The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania. Alberto gets interrupted when the lights dim. The attention turns to the top of the entrance ramp where Gregorian chanting can be heard. Four druids begin wheeling a casket down toward the ring. Alberto tries to laugh it off inside the ring. The casket is left down at ringside and the druids go to the back. Del Rio stares down at the casket. This has happened before, after all. Before Alberto or Ricardo can exit the ring, the casket lid opens all on its own!]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TheUndertaker.jpg

[Lying within the casket is the body of the man known as The Undertaker! The Undertaker has his eyes closed and his hands across his chest. Alberto pushes Ricardo toward the casket and then takes a step back. The Undertaker suddenly sits up and turns his eyes toward Del Rio! The Undertaker climbs inside the ring from the casket and takes down Ricardo with a stiff right hand! Alberto charges him and gets taken down by a big boot! The Undertaker rolls his eyes back in his head and the lights go off. When the lights return, The Undertaker is nowhere to be seen but Alberto Del Rio is lying in the open casket! After a moment, Del Rio opens his eyes and scrambles from the casket! An 'Undertaker' chant moves through the crowd as Del Rio takes off up the entrance ramp.]

Match #5

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/WilliamRegal.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RandyOrton.jpg

Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown

William Regal vs. Randy Orton

[Our semi main event this evening is a strong one as two men with pretty good chemistry in the ring face off. The chemistry helps build this match into one with great action and a good crowd as they back the Team Smackdown favorite Randy Orton. Regal shows some good form in this match as he represents Team Raw in this little over ten minute contest. Regal catches Orton with a Dragon Suplex, holding the bridge: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! A fan raises up a sign in the crowd reading: 'William Regal: The Blackpool Bruiser!' Regal goes for the Regal Stretch but Orton slides over to the ropes to keep the hold from coming on. Randy fights back, showing some confidence here on Smackdown as he catches William with the inverted headlock backbreaker. Randy stares down at William Regal and then picks him up, hooking his legs over the middle rope -- rope hung DDT! Orton slides in for the cover: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Regal complains to the referee about something and the referee admonishes Randy Orton. During this time, William Regal slides his hand into his trunks and pulls out a pair of brass knuckles! Regal slides to his feet and moves carefully toward Orton -- Punch -- ducked! Regal bounces off the ropes with his momentum -- snap powerslam! The powerslam sends the knucks sliding off and out of the ring. Orton pounds on the mat, waiting for Regal to rise. Orton looks at Regal -- RKO! Orton connects with the RKO! Orton makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Team Smackdown get this victory tonight!]

Winner: Randy Orton (Via Pinfall @ 10:04)

Match Rating: B

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/KofiKingston.jpg

[We are taken to a video where Kofi Kingston is sitting down giving an interview about his match at WrestleMania. He says that it is such an honor to be wrestling at WrestleMania. And to have a title match? He talks about the history of the WWE Intercontinental title and the great champions who have come before him. Then he mentions Dolph Ziggler. He says that Dolph is just a show off but that doesn't mean that he really is better than everyone. Dolph may think that with the Intercontinental title, he is in WWE Paradise but at WrestleMania there's going to be Trouble In Paradise from Kofi Kingston.]

Match #6

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DolphZiggler.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JackSwagger.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VickieGuerrero.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Edge.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Christian.jpg

Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger vs. Edge and Christian

[And we move to our main event of the evening. What a great main event this is as we have excellent in-ring action coupled with great heat from the 7,264 fans in the audience here in Kansas City. Though most would expect Edge and Christian to have the experience advantage, there is a little wariness between the two wrestlers who will face at WrestleMania. Vickie Guerrero shouts from ringside, drawing the attention of the WWE World champion Edge and enabling Ziggler to strike Edge from behind. The next few minutes are spent with Dolph and Jack in control. The two men tag in and out under the guidance of Vickie Guerrero, wearing the WWE World champion down. Dolph scores a near fall following a slick double team where Jack holds Edge in a wheelbarrow and Dolph strikes him with a Namedropper. The momentum shifts when Dolph lifts Edge on his shoulders. Dolph runs toward the turnbuckles and Edge drops off behind him, shoving Dolph chest-first into the turnbuckles. Edge catches Dolph with the Edge-O-Matic, bringing both men down to the mat. Christian claps, trying to get the crowd into things as he reaches in for a tag. Edge crawls toward the corner and so does Dolph. Dolph makes it and tags in Jack Swagger! Jack comes running but Edge tags in Christian!]

[Christian comes in and stares at Jack Swagger and then looks down toward Vickie Guerrero and smiles. Vickie smiles back at him. Christian reaches over, placing Edge in the corner, meeting his eyes -- then he turns and decks Swagger with a punch! Vickie yells 'No, No, No!' from ringside as Christian takes down Dolph with a clothesline. He turns back to Swagger -- Flapjack! Christian turns back toward Dolph -- kick to the gut by Dolph Ziggler! Edge comes in and falls out of the ring with Dolph Ziggler. Christian turns his attention back to Jack Swagger. Swagger reaches for the leg but Christian reverses, sending Swagger into the corner. Christian grabs Swagger and twists him around -- Killswitch! Swagger goes down on the mat and Christian moves to the top turnbuckle. He looks down at Swagger -- Frog Splash! Christian hooks the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Edge and Christian (Via Pinfall @ 10:50)

Match Rating: B+

[Edge and Christian pick up the huge win here on SyFy and Smackdown! Christian slowly pulls to his feet -- Dolph Ziggler comes in -- Zig Zag! The crowd boos as Christian is down on the mat. Dolph is handed the WWE Intercontinental title belt by Vickie Guerrero. Christian grabs the ropes and tries to shake off the cobwebs. Edge enters the ring and looks between Dolph Ziggler and Christian. The WWE World champion stares as Dolph Ziggler prepares to strike Christian with the intercontinental title belt. Edge, of course, shares a rich history with Vickie Guerrero. Some of it good, some of it bad. Christian uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet. He staggers and sways a bit before turning toward Dolph -- WHAM! -- Edge strikes Dolph Ziggler with the spear! The WWE Intercontinental title belt goes flying as the champion is left laying on the mat. Vickie Guerrero tugs Dolph Ziggler out of the ring to join her and Jack Swagger. Though, of course, she doesn't manage Jack. Edge and Christian shake hands in the ring and then both play to the crowd, climbing opposite turnbuckles. Edge raises the WWE World title belt! These two men fight in just a couple of weeks at WrestleMania! We're out of time! See you next week!]

Liked the Scott Hall comeback, if only he was well enough to do it during the build to Raw 1000.

Glad that you enjoyed the return of Scott Hall/Razor Ramon to the roster. He was actually one of my favorites for a long time and wish he could have won a world title back in the day. But for now that's why we have the games, right? lol.

A Hype Video For A Returning Superstar

Comment: I hope it's someone older.

The tag team division is definitely building here. The FBI will have their shots, believe me. They are a fun tag team to work with.

I hope you enjoyed who the returning superstar was (Ken Shamrock). When I saw him on the free agent list, I couldn't help but bring back in the 'World's Most Dangerous Man.'

Special Challenge Match

Comment: Bit of a toss-up here for me, depending on how you're using Tomko, for example as an unstoppable force versus just a throwaway worker, it'd be a big momentum shift for him to go through Big Show.

Hope that match was done up in a way that kept both men strong for you. The interference by Wade Barrett is definitely working toward setting up their WrestleMania match. WrestleMania is looking like a stacked card, to say the least.

WWE Monday Night RAW!

Monday Week 3 March 2011

Location: PA Fitzgerald Field House (Tri State)

Attendance: 6,798

Overall Rating: B+

TV Rating: 6.11

[WWE Raw begins, not inside the Fitzgerald Field House but on the outside of the arena where CM Punk and The Nexus are standing in a circle, obviously talking about their plans for this evening. Punk's words are overshadowed by the sound of a revving vehicle nearby. Every time Punk gets settled in to talk, he gets interrupted by the overwhelming sound. Finally, Punk gets frustrated and motions toward the building. He begins leading his men toward the building but then he turns and the camera picks up the vehicle that had been interrupting Punk. It's the beer truck! A lot of long-time WWE fans will remember this one. Steve Austin is sitting on the hood with a hose. Punk shakes his head, begging off but Austin flips him the bird and turns on the hose! The Straight Edge Punk and his Nexus cohorts are knocked backward by the power of the hose as they are covered in beer! The crowd cheers this move as Punk and The Nexus crawl to get to the building and Austin laughs.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JohnCena.jpg

[We move inside the arena where 'The Time Is Now' begins to play drawing both cheers and boos from the crowd. John Cena walks out from the back and does his trademark salute before he comes down to the ring and slides inside. He gets the crowd pumped early on and then focuses on the attack last week by a legend. He talks about the respect that he has had for Vader and the fact that he still respects him as a legend. But that respect will mean nothing if Vader doesn't come out here face to face right now and explain himself. Cena paces around the ring, waiting and stating that he has all the time in the world to wait for Vader to get out there. 'It's time, it's time, it's VADER TIME!']

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/Vader.jpg

[The man they call Vader walks out from the back but he is dressed in the helmet that he wore when he debuted in WCW. Cena smirks and paces in the ring as Vader walks down about halfway down the entrance ramp. Vader takes the helmet off and sets it on the ground beside a fan holding up a sign reading: 'Vader Time!' After a moment, he points to the helmet and the steam emits from it! Vader turns back to Cena and then enters the ring. He walks right over to Cena and shoves him, showing no fear of Cena! Cena comes back with a punch! Vader with a punch! Cena with a punch! Vader shows his power by tossing Cena into a corner and then moving in, hammering him with forearm shots. Referee Mike Chioda comes into the ring and calls for the bell. We have a match!]

Match #1

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/Vader.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JohnCena.jpg

Vader vs. John Cena

[Vader starts this match off in control as he was before the opening bell. Vader scores several early near falls on Cena but Cena refuses to give in to the power of the Mastadon. Cena has a few short bursts of momentum throughout but Vader always seems to have an answer for the younger Cena. Vader sends Cena into the ring post outside the ring and then moves him over to where his helmet is. He looks ready to send Cena into the helmet but Cena fires back! Cena gets some control at this point, sending Vader back in the ring. As Cena looks to climb back in, he gets assaulted from behind by a running Brock Lesnar, causing the DQ.]

Winner: John Cena (Via Disqualification @ 9:50)

Match Rating: C+

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BrockLesnar.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/PaulHeyman.jpg

[Brock Lesnar is directed by Paul Heyman outside the ring as he attacks John Cena. He sends Cena into the steel steps and then begins stomping away on the Chain Gang Leader. The crowd gets behind Cena, trying to give him some control. But The Next Big Thing is dominant in this moment, picking Cena up and lifting him on his shoulders. Vader walks by Lesnar, heading for the back. Lesnar lifts Cena -- F5! Lesnar drops Cena outside the ring with the F5! Lesnar gets to his feet and flexes over Cena, smiling down at him.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JustinGabriel.jpg

[We head to the backstage area this time where former Nexus member Justin Gabriel is standing in front of the camera. Gabriel talks about WrestleMania coming in less than two weeks time. He talks about how at WrestleMania he will be facing the man who took his place in The Nexus: Austin Aries. He says that he is not underestimating Aries in the slightest bit. The man known as the Code Of Honour is a great wrestler. However, Gabriel says that he is just that much better than Aries. He says he is going to prove it at WrestleMania and then he is coming after the man who truly gave him the boot: CM Punk.]

Match #2

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/EvanBourne.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/R-Truth.jpg

WWE World Tag Team Titles Match

Air Truth defend vs. ???

[Our Open Challenge for the WWE World Tag Team titles continues with the team known as Air Truth coming out to defend those belts against whatever team has decided to face them. Evan Bourne and R-Truth high five the fans outside the ring as R-Truth raps. They enter the ring and wait to see just who is going to be their challengers.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/ReneDupree.jpghttp://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/SylvainGrenier.jpg

[WOW! It is definitely one of the more surprising returns here on Raw! The return of La Resistance members Rene Dupree and Sylvan Grenier! The two Frenchmen enter the ring and go right after Bourne and Truth to begin the match. The extremely short match sees a two on two brawl which ends with La Resistance getting sent out of the ring. Bourne climbs the turnbuckles and takes down both members of La Resistance with a moonsault outside the ring! Back inside the ring, Bourne and Truth are pretty dominant against both Dupree and Grenier. Bourne catches Dupree with a headscissors takedown that brings Dupree out of the ring. In the ring, R-Truth hits Grenier with a jumping reverse STO, known as the 'What's Up.' Bourne heads to the top turnbuckle -- Shooting Star Press! Bourne makes the cover, hooking the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winners: Air Truth (Via Pinfall @ 5:17; Air Truth retain the WWE World Tag Team titles)

Match Rating: C

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/AmyDumas.jpg

[The crowd here in Pennsylvania goes absolutely wild as a Diva legend comes out from the back. It's Lita! Lita is all smiles as she gives high fives to the fans that are pressed against the entrance ramp and then all around ringside. She enters the ring and climbs the turnbuckles, posing for the crowd here. Lita says that she has had her share of WrestleMania moments and wanted to come back specifically for WrestleMania! She might have continued but she is interrupted by the sound of evil female laughter.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Kharma.jpg

[it's Kharma! Kharma walks out from the back and walks down toward the ring with that evil, angry look on her face. She climbs into the ring and comes face to face with the Diva legend Lita. Kharma slowly smiles and then slaps the taste out of Lita's mouth! Lita throws a forearm shot but Kharma no-sells it. Kharma shoves Lita backward and then Lita comes running at her -- side slam by Kharma! Lita gets planted on the mat and Kharma sits beside her. Kharma picks herself up and grabs Lita, raising her up -- Implant Buster! Lita is laid out in the ring! Kharma's music begins playing and the crowd boos as she rises to her feet and exits the ring, having ruined this legend's return.]

Match #3

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TysonKidd.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JacksonAndrews.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Yoshi-Tatsu.jpg

Non Title

Tyson Kidd vs. Yoshi Tatsu

[The WWE United States Champion Tyson Kidd comes out for this match accompanied by his bodyguard Jackson Andrews as he faces the Japanese superstar Yoshi Tatsu in this extremely short match. Tatsu actually shows some skill in this match, catching Kidd with a roundhouse kick and drawing in a two count. This match definitely shows that Kidd was taking Tatsu lightly and he nearly lost the match because of that. But some well-timed interference by Jackson Andrews had Kidd setting up Tatsu for the Sharpshooter. Kidd turns Tatsu over -- Brogue Kick! Sheamus entered the ring from out of nowhere! The referee calls for the bell, disqualifying Tatsu. Jackson Andrews enters the ring and takes a Brogue Kick, leaving Sheamus standing tall in the ring.]

Winner: Tyson Kidd (Via Disqualification @ 5:07)

Match Rating: C+

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/PaulHeyman.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BrockLesnar.jpg

[We move backstage once again where Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are standing in front of the camera. Heyman says that what Cena suffered earlier tonight is just a 'take it easy' preview of what he is going to get at WrestleMania from Brock Lesnar. Speaking of suffering, though, the number one contender to the WWE title is going to suffer tonight. Heyman says that Brock has turned his attention and focus to his match tonight against Daniel Bryan. Heyman says that he knows the credentials of Daniel Bryan but he isn't impressed. He says that Daniel is NOT Brock Lesnar and never will be. Tonight, Daniel Bryan is going to suffer until Paul Heyman calls Brock Lesnar off and that's a fact, according to Paul Heyman.]

Match #4

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Maryse.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Natalya.jpg

Non Title

Maryse vs. Natalya

[Another extremely short match as we have our Diva match this week. It's a non title contest between Maryse and Natalya. The match itself is actually excellent by the standards of Diva matches that we've had in the past. Maryse shows some actual skill against the Diva's champion and scores a near fall early on. But once Natalya takes control she maintains it throughout. The WWE Diva's champion slips in behind Maryse and wraps her in a rear waistlock -- German Suplex, complete with bridge: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Natalya (Via Pinfall @ 5:12)

Match Rating: C+

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/EricBischoff.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Rhino.jpg

[As Natalya celebrates in the ring, we move to the backstage area and the office of Eric Bischoff. Inside that office is a member of Team Raw: Rhino! The War Machine growls when he looks toward the camera. Eric tells him to ignore the camera and focus on him. He says that last Friday night on Smackdown, Team Raw was humiliated in losing to Team Smackdown. This week, though, they are on Raw's ground, Raw territory. It's time to protect their home. Rhino just growls and nods. Eric tells Rhino that his match is next and Rhino turns to leave, shouting 'GORE!' as he walks out of the office.]

Match #5

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Rhino.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/ReyMysterio.jpg

Team Raw versus Team Smackdown

Rhino vs. Rey Mysterio

[The War Machine, Rhino, does NOT come down to the ring alone for this match against Rey Mysterio. He is accompanied by every member of Team Raw, who surround ringside. The match features some great action and a solid crowd as they get behind Rey in this contest, being the more fan favorite despite the Team Raw versus Team Smackdown contest. Rey does his best to keep away from the strength of Rhino, using his high flying skills to his advantage. One fan raises a sign reading: 'Gore! Gore! Gore!' There is a liberal dose of interference in this match by the Team Raw members at ringside. The match comes to a close with William Regal striking Rey Mysterio with the Power of the Punch! A fan raises a sign reading: 'Rip his head off and throw it in his face Rhino!' Rey staggers and is about to fall when Rhino charges -- GORE! GORE! GORE! Rhino makes the cover, hooking the leg: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Team Raw evens it up at 1-1!]

Winner: Rhino (Via Pinfall @ 6:22)

Match Rating: B-

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BrockLesnar.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JohnCena.jpg

[We are taken immediately to the backstage area once again where we find a brawl between Brock Lesnar and John Cena! Both men are throwing heavy hitting punches back and forth! Lesnar avoids a punch by Cena and then rakes him in the eyes. Lesnar grabs Cena and rams him head-first into a nearby table. The Next Big Thing tosses the leader of the CeNation over the table and against a wall! Lesnar grabs the table and throws it out of the way as Cena holds his head. Brock stomps on the head of John, climbing down and mounting him, throwing forearm shots to the head, busting John Cena open in the mouth. Brock gets to his feet after about ten shots and then walks off as officials flood the area.]

[We are shown a graphic that the announcers explain is going to be our main event next week on the final Raw before WrestleMania! We are going to see a four way non title match as The Miz takes on Brock Lesnar, Daniel Bryan and John Cena! What a way to lead in to WrestleMania!]

Match #6

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BrockLesnar.jpg w/ http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/PaulHeyman.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DanielBryan.jpg

Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan

[it is main event time this evening and what a main event we have! This is a great wrestling match with a sizzling crowd! Daniel Bryan actually starts off strong against The Next Big Thing as it seems like Brock underestimated Daniel Bryan coming into this match. Daniel scores a near fall when he strikes Brock with a kick to the back of the head. Brock exits the ring for a breather and Daniel Bryan goes for a suicide dive but Brock moves and Daniel strikes the guardrail. Brock grabs Daniel by the head, running him into the ring post! Paul Heyman smiles at ringside as Brock brings Daniel back into the ring and takes control. Brock spends the next few minutes beating Daniel Bryan into the mat and out comes the WWE champion The Miz! The Miz walks over and talks briefly with Paul Heyman and remains at ringside standing beside a fan who holds up a sign reading: 'F5 fury!!' Brock goes for a power bomb but Daniel lands on his feet and begins kicking at the chest of Brock and then brings Brock down with a belly to belly suplex!]

[The crowd cheers with Daniel Bryan back in control in this match. Daniel uses multiple suplex variations to keep Brock down and he does his best to avoid being grabbed by Brock. Daniel goes for the LeBell Lock but Brock powers his way out, bringing Daniel down with a sidewalk slam. The Miz smiles at ringside and Brock walks over, yelling at the WWE champion. The Miz raises his arms, showing he doesn't plan to interfere. Brock turns his attention back to Daniel Bryan, picking the number one contender up and raising him onto his shoulders. He is setting up Daniel Bryan for the F-5! Brock turns his eyes to the ramp where 'The Time Is Now' begins to play! Brock Lesnar has attacked John Cena twice tonight. Brock tosses Daniel Bryan down, raising his hand, waving and 'begging' John Cena to come back out. Daniel Bryan slips up behind Brock Lesnar and pushes him against the ropes. Daniel rolls Brock up, bridging backward: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Daniel Bryan (Via Pinfall @ 16:45)

Match Rating: A

[Daniel Bryan picks up this HUGE victory here tonight! The number one contender with some major momentum heading toward WrestleMania! The Miz enters the ring and charges Daniel Bryan -- belt shot -- DUCKED! Daniel Bryan strikes The Miz with kicks to the chest and then a clothesline that brings The Miz down! Brock Lesnar turns toward the man who just defeated him but 'The Time Is Now' plays again and out comes a taped up John Cena! John jumps on Brock, attacking him in the ring! Daniel Bryan grabs The Miz -- LeBell Lock! John Cena brings down Brock Lesnar -- STF! The Miz is tapping but Brock refuses to tap! The show comes to a close with both Daniel Bryan and John Cena having their submission holds on their WrestleMania opponents!]

[The show begins with Ricardo Rodriguez in the ring. The personal ring announcer introduces the man who will face The Undertaker at WrestleMania: Alberto Del Rio. Alberto comes out in a Dodge Viper and then walks down to the ring and steps inside. He holds up a microphone and smiles to the audience, beginning to talk about how it's his destiny to go into WrestleMania and do something that no one has been able to do: defeat The Undertaker. He says he is going to prove that he is the best and even better than all the legends that have faced The Deadman at WrestleMania. Alberto gets interrupted, though, when 'Voices' by Rev Theory begins to play.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RandyOrton.jpg

[The man known as 'The Viper' and once known as The Legend Killer Randy Orton comes out from the back and walks right into the ring as Alberto keeps Ricardo Rodriguez in front of him. Randy tells Alberto that it's not so easy to defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania. He talks about how he tried to do it but he was never the same since losing to The Undertaker. It's a new ring of hell. Alberto yells at Randy that he just wasn't good enough to defeat The Undertaker but it's his destiny to win and prove that he is even better than Randy Orton. Randy doesn't seem to like that and drops his microphone. Alberto shoves Ricardo forward and Randy catches him with the RKO! Alberto quickly exits the ring but as he backs up the aisle, he gets interrupted.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TeddyLong.jpg

[The interruption is by the Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long! Teddy tells Alberto to slow down from walking away from the ring. Why? Because he has a match tonight and that match is next! So they need to get a referee down there because tonight we are going to see Alberto Del Rio against Randy Orton!]

Match #1

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/AlbertoDelRio.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RicardoRodriguez.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/RandyOrton.jpg

Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton

[Alberto was not happy about this match against The Viper but he didn't have a choice in the matter. The match itself has great wrestling and a sizzling crowd for these two main eventers. Randy starts things off strong, scoring a near fall following a knee drop. A distraction by Ricardo is helpful for Alberto in gaining some momentum and Alberto focuses on the arm of the Viper. Throughout the match, the arm is the focus of Alberto, though he scores a near fall following a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Randy gets the crowd behind him and does make a comeback in the match, striking Alberto with the rope hung DDT. He pounds on the mat, waiting for Alberto to get to his feet. Randy goes for the RKO but Alberto counters with a superkick. Randy staggers and gets grabbed -- Cross Armbreaker! Randy struggles in the hold but eventually has to tap out.]

Winner: Alberto Del Rio (Via Submission @ 5:42)

Match Rating: B

[Alberto Del Rio with an impressive win over Randy Orton. The only problem is that he doesn't want to release the submission hold! Ricardo Rodriguez keeps the referee at bay as Alberto keeps the hold on and Randy actually cries out in pain. The sound of the gong provides a distraction, though. The lights dim slightly and Alberto releases the hold, looking around for where The Undertaker might be. The lights fade completely out.]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TheUndertaker.jpg

[When the lights return, The Undertaker can be seen at the top of the ramp looking toward the ring. He meets eyes with Alberto Del Rio and then runs his thumb slowly across his throat. His eyes roll back in his head as his voice fills the arena. That voice utters three words that so many people have heard before: Rest...In...Peace!]

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Edge.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JackSwagger.jpg

[We move to the backstage area where we see the WWE World Heavyweight champion Edge. The Rated 'R' Superstar is...walking! He turns a corner and comes face to face with the All American American Jack Swagger. Edge tells Jack to move out of his way but Jack refuses, saying that it's a joke that someone like Edge is the World champion when the belt could go to someone like Jack Swagger. Edge says that nobody remembers when Jack Swagger held a title. The joke is that Jack Swagger was ever a champion. Jack tells Edge to put his money where his mouth is and face him in a match tonight. Edge agrees and our main event is set for this evening!]

Match #2

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Layla.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/MichelleMcCool.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Natalya.jpg

Non Title

Layla vs. Natalya

[Our second match of the evening is a non title contest as Layla takes on the WWE Diva's champion Natalya. Layla, of course, has her LayCool tag team partner Michelle McCool at ringside with her. The Divas match is fairly short and Layla seems off her game tonight during the match. Layla scores a near fall with a spinning facebuster but Natalya powers out of the pinfall attempt. Natalya strikes Layla with the Nattie By Nature, getting the fans excited and behind her. She grabs the legs of Layla -- Sharpshooter! Natalya sits down and Layla has to tap out!]

Winner: Natalya (Via Submission @ 5:11)

Match Rating: B-

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Edge.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JackSwagger.jpg

[A replay of the conversation between Edge and Jack Swagger earlier tonight is shown. Following the replay, a graphic is shown hyping the fact that these two wrestlers will be going one on one tonight in non title action!]

Match #3

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Kane.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BookerT.jpg

Kane vs. Booker T

[Our next contest stems from what happened last week where Kane was looking for Paul Bearer and attacked Booker T because he happened to be nearby. This is another extremely short match here on Smackdown as Kane is dominant from the opening bell where he strikes Booker T with a big boot. A fan holds up a sign reading: 'Can you dig this fire burning?' Kane brings Booker down with a sidewalk slam and soon he is wrapping his hand around the throat of Booker T -- Choke Slam! Kane makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Kane (Via Pinfall @ 4:31)

Match Rating: B+

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DrewMcIntyre.jpg

[Kane gets a big win here on Smackdown but as soon as the bell sounds Drew McIntyre runs down to the ring. Drew assaults Kane from behind! Drew throws Kane with an overhead belly to belly suplex, showing some absolute power! He mounts Kane and begins throwing punches, yelling to Kane, asking him where Kaitlyn is. Kane tries to cover up from the punches but Drew is a house on fire. It takes several officials to step in and help The Devil's Favorite Demon, pulling Drew McIntyre off him.]

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/shawkes/WWE/KenShamrock.jpg

[As things get settled in the ring, we are taken to a video hyping the return to a WWE ring of 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' Ken Shamrock. Ken is shown working out in the gym on several different pieces of equipment. Then he is shown in the WWE ring of the past, locking ankle locks and kneebars on opponents, making them submit. Ken Shamrock will be back soon here in a WWE ring!]

Match #4

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/WadeBarrett.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TysonTomko.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/ReyMysterio.jpg

Wade Barrett vs. Rey Mysterio

[Our next match this evening features great action and a good crowd as Wade Barrett with Tomko at ringside steps in the ring with the Master of the 619, the former WWE champion Rey Mysterio. Both men have matches at WrestleMania and it is those matches that cause the major shift in momentum in this match. The match is a solid back and forth encounter with both men having moments to shine. Wade scores a near fall following a big boot. Rey makes the comeback with the fans solidly behind him. Ted DiBiase and Maryse come down to ringside. Maryse distracts the official, leading to some interference by DiBiase. DiBiase catches Rey with Dream Street before he exits the ring. Wade picks up Rey -- Wasteland! Maryse gets down and Wade makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Wade Barrett (Via Pinfall @ 7:30)

Match Rating: B

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BigShow.jpg

[As the match ends and Wade Barrett starts putting the boots to Rey Mysterio, Big Show comes running out from the back. He takes down Tomko with a clothesline and brushes past Ted DiBiase and Maryse. Wade Barrett sees him and exits the ring quickly, shaking his head, showing that he has nothing to prove just yet. Wade yells at Big Show that he will see him at WrestleMania.]

[As the staredown ensues in the ring and ringside area between Big Show and Wade Barrett, the screen begins to grow fuzzy. Static and snow begins to appear on the screen. The static moves to written words: They're coming. The words seem to be dripping in blood. After a moment, they disappear and we move back to ringside.]

Match #5

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DolphZiggler.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VickieGuerrero.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Christian.jpg

Dolph Ziggler vs. Christian

[This match could definitely be a main event as the WWE Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler faces off with the #1 contender to the WWE World champion Christian. The Showoff starts off the match strong, pleasing Vickie Guerrero in the process. The match has excellent in-ring action and great heat from the crowd as both men trade momentum back and forth. Dolph uses some outside interference from Vickie Guerrero to keep Christian down. Dolph scores a near fall following a corner splash on Christian. The momentum shifts when Kofi Kingston comes down to ringside and provides a distraction to Dolph Ziggler. Kofi ends up standing beside a fan holding up a sign reading: 'Ziggler is my favorite Heel!' Kofi and Dolph end up getting into it behind the referee's back and Dolph is struck with Trouble In Paradise! This leads to Christian executing the Killswitch. Christian makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Christian (Via Pinfall @ 7:24)

Match Rating: B

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/WadeBarrett.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/BigShow.jpg

[We move to the backstage area where we find Big Show walking slowly down a hallway. He comes across Wade Barrett and the two men begin to argue for a moment. Wade says that he is going to prove he is the better wrestler at WrestleMania. He, then, asks Big Show to up the ante for their match. Their match at WrestleMania will be Loser Leaves WWE! Big Show smiles, saying that Wade's career here in the WWE will be very short. Big Show says he has been here for a very long time and he will continue to be here as part of the WWE. Wade tells Big Show good luck and smirks as he walks off, leaving Big Show looking slightly concerned about their upcoming match.]

Match #6

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TedDiBiase.jpg w/ http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Maryse.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Batista.jpg

Team Raw Versus Team Smackdown

Ted DiBiase vs. Batista

[Our next match is a Team Raw versus Team Smackdown encounter as Ted DiBiase faces off with Batista. This is a true back and forth encounter with both men actually getting in some offense. Of course, Maryse plays a part in distracting Batista. Batista yanks Ted up in a suplex position -- suplex powerbomb! Batista poses and Maryse jumps on the apron. Batista ignores her and catches Ted with a big boot. Batista sends Ted to the ropes -- Spinebuster! He throws Ted to the mat and then threatens Maryse until she climbs off the apron. He makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3! Another win for Smackdown!]

Winner: Batista (Via Pinfall @ 6:08)

Match Rating: B-

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/DolphZiggler.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/TeddyLong.jpg

[From there we fade in to a shot of the office of Smackdown General Manager Teddy Long. Teddy is not alone in his office as he is joined by the WWE Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler. He says he is glad to see Dolph without Vickie Guerrero this evening because he has an important announcement to make. Next week right here on Smackdown, there will be a champion versus champion match. That's right: WWE Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler will face WWE World Heavyweight champion Edge in the final match before WrestleMania! Dolph says he is happy about that because he's going to prove that he is better than that Rated R Superstar. The 'R' must stand for Retarded, right?]

Match #7

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/JackSwagger.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/WWE%20Joint/Cards/Edge.jpg

Non Title

Jack Swagger vs. Edge

[And we are here on our main event this evening. It's a non title contest as the All American American Jack Swagger takes on the WWE World Heavyweight champion Edge! The two wrestlers meet in the center of the ring and Jack slaps Edge across the face! Edge's eyes go wide and the two men begin exchanging punches in the center of the ring. Edge gains the advantage in the stand-up game, bringing Jack down with a final punch. Jack gets back up and charges Edge but Edge moves, shouting 'Ole!' as Swagger runs by him and falls out of the ring. Edge takes a bow, laughing and pointing at Jack. Jack clears the cobwebs and re-enters the ring, slowing things down for the next few minutes as he catches Edge in an armbar and really wrenches on the arm. Edge slowly pulls himself to his feet and whips Jack to the ropes -- leapfrog by Edge -- Swagger hits the ropes again -- dropkick by Edge sends Jack back down to the mat. Jack gets back to his feet quickly -- inverted atomic drop by Edge -- clothesline brings Jack back down to the mat.]

[Jack comes back with the match going on the mat, focusing on the right leg of Edge. He holds him down on the mat with a kneebar but Edge refuses to submit. Jack gets to his feet and wrenches the knee before stomping the joint and then he hooks on a figure 4 leglock! Edge shakes his head, refusing to submit! The 'Whoooooo's' echo through the crowd. After about three minutes in the hold, Edge grabs the ropes, breaking the hold. Edge pulls himself to his feet as Swagger charges and Jack focuses on the knee again. He sweeps Edge to the mat and then drops an elbow on the knee. Jack goes for the ankle lock but Edge kicks him off with his good foot! Jack moves back in and Edge rolls him into a small package: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout!]

[Edge pulls himself to his feet -- Edgecution DDT! Both men are laid out on the mat as the referee begins the ten count. Edge slowly rolls over and drapes his arm across Jack Swagger's chest: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Jack Swagger got his shoulder up at the last moment! Both men get to their knees and throw punches at one another. Edge grabs Jack by the head and slams his head down on the mat face-first. Edge pulls himself up and moves over into a corner. He stands, waiting for Jack Swagger to rise to his feet. Jack Swagger is slow to rise but he does. He turns and Edge charges -- Jack dodges a spear! He goes for the ankle lock but Edge kicks him off again. Edge pops back up to his feet -- SPEAR! He breaks Jack Swagger in half with the spear! Edge makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

Winner: Edge (Via Pinfall @ 10:24)

Match Rating: B+

[Another huge momentum giving win for the WWE World Heavyweight champion! Edge rises to his feet, sending Jack Swagger out of the ring. Edge is given the title belt and he raises it high. He climbs the turnbuckles and poses for the crowd as the show moves toward its conclusion. Could this be the scene at WrestleMania? We will find out in a little over a week!]
