Comment: In all honesty, Sandman is one of the stranger debuts that I've seen you introduce.

[A replay of last week's main event on Raw begins this week's Monday Night Raw. The match between Justin Gabriel and John Cena is an excellent main event. Cena wins and with that victory he qualifies for the Elimination Chamber match. But it was not over. Cena did not get to celebrate his victory as both he and Justin Gabriel were assaulted by Brock Lesnar. Lesnar takes out both men with the F5 and then out comes The Nexus led by CM Punk. Punk shakes hands with Lesnar in the ring and then strips Justin Gabriel of his status within the Nexus, leaving Gabriel down on the mat to end the show.]

[The WWE Universe in the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California are on their feet as Raw begins inside the arena. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcome everyone to the show but they are interrupted by the sounds of 'Rockhouse' by Frank Shelley. The crowd boos as out from the back walks Eric Bischoff and the WWE Champion The Miz. The two men look very confident as they make their way out to the ring. The Miz holds the ropes open for the WWE Raw General Manager and then Bischoff does the same for the WWE Champion. When they are both settled in the ring, Bischoff has a microphone in hand.]

 

Eric Bischoff

"I LOVE you guys! You guys are absolutely amazing. Thank you so much. You're too much! But now it's time to get down to business. I am standing here in this ring with the WWE Champion. The man who chances are will still be the WWE Champion at WrestleMania. Speaking of WrestleMania, right now, I want to call Daniel Bryan down to the ring and get his decision."

 

The Miz

"Who will Daniel Bryan face at WrestleMania? Really, Eric? Really? Really? Do you really think that anyone CARES who Daniel Bryan will face at WrestleMania? Really? I certainly don't care and if I don't care then who else's opinion matters? But since we have to find out whether he's going to try for the World title or whether he's going to get crushed under my AWESOME weight, let's get him out here right now and find out."

 

[The Miz moves back into a corner and Eric Bischoff just gives that smile of his as 'Ride of the Valkyries' by Richard Wagner begins to play and out comes the 2011 Royal Rumble winner, the former WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan. Bryan raises his fists, pumping them to cheers from the crowd. He high fives the fans standing at ringside and then climbs the stairs, entering the ring. Bischoff steps forward to meet him face-to-face.]

 

Eric Bischoff

"So? Who is it?"

 

Daniel Bryan

"You know, I've given this a lot of thought. I could choose to face Edge for the WWE World Heavyweight title. Or I could choose to face The Miz for the WWE Championship. I am going to have a great match with either wrestler. But the man that I choose to face at WrestleMania is...The Miz!"

 

[The Miz's eyes go wide and he gets right up in the face of Daniel Bryan, jawwing with him. Bryan makes no movements, looking almost stoic. The Miz throws the first punch. Daniel Bryan fires back! Punch! Counterpunch! Bryan blocks a punch and grabs The Miz, twisting him down to the mat -- Lebell Lock! Daniel Bryan hooks in the Lebell Lock! The Miz is tapping out! Could this happen at WrestleMania? Eric Bischoff steps in and works to seperate the two wrestlers. Bischoff gets the hold unhooked, tugging Daniel Bryan back from The Miz. Bryan gets free from Bischoff and then shoves the General Manager backward. The Miz moves to his feet behind Daniel Bryan and strikes a knee to the center of his back -- Skull Crushing Finale! The Royal Rumble Winner goes down and the WWE Champion stands over top of him. We're going to see The Miz against Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania!]

Michael McGillicutty vs. John Morrison

 

[The first in-ring portion of our show is a definite highlight as the son of 'Mr. Perfect' Michael McGillicutty goes up against John Morrison. Both of these men show some strong offense throughout the seven and a half minute opening match. McGillicutty scores a near-fall on Morrison following a rolling neck snap. He drags Morrison to the center of the ring and goes for the Perfect-Plex but Morrison blocks and reverses it, clapping his hands together and getting the crowd involved. A sign is held up in the crowd reading: 'Curt is disappointed!' Morrison lifts McGillicutty and hits a few european uppercut shots that send McGillicutty back into a corner. Morrison takes a few steps back -- dropkick to the chest in the corner. McGillicutty falls to the mat. Morrison plays to the crowd as he steps back from his opponent, waiting for him to rise -- Running Knee! The crack is heard as Morrison's knee connects with McGillicutty's skull. Morrison makes the cover: 1 -- 2 -- 3!]

 

Winner: John Morrison (Via Pinfall @ 7:35)

[As John Morrison rises from his victory, he turns and is able to spy Sheamus running down to the ring. Morrison ducks an attempt at a Brogue Kick and throws punches to Sheamus. A few kicks surprise the Great White and then one solid hit sends Sheamus over the top rope to the floor! Morrison stands within the ring, watching as Sheamus tries to collect himself. Morrison climbs the turnbuckles as Sheamus stands. He leaps -- Brogue Kick! Morrison got caught with the Brogue Kick while leaping off the top turnbuckle to the outside of the ring! Morrison hits the mats on the outside hard and Sheamus stands tall out there, beating his chest in a symbol of his superiority as we head to our first commercial break.]

[This commercial break brings out Nikki Bella and Brie Bella, The Bella Twins to the ringside area. The twin magic duo high five the crowd on their way down to the ring. Instead of shooting t-shirts, though, they began to gyrate and dance inside the ring to the tune of their theme music. The crowd does seem to enjoy the show and within a few minutes the Bellas have left the ring. They high five the crowd on either side, pausing and posing for a picture or two before they disappear to the backstage area.]

[As we come back from commercials, we are shown Justin Gabriel standing backstage to give his very first interview since being removed from The Nexus last week. Before Gabriel can speak, however, he gets joined in the backstage area by CM Punk and the rest of the members of The Nexus. Punk smiles and pats Gabriel on the shoulder.]

 

CM Punk

"You don't have to say a word, Justin. You lost your faith and we are going to give it back to you. At Elimination Chamber in less than a week you are going to go one on one with Husky Harris here. Maybe you'll find your faith in the hospital."

 

[Angered, Gabriel throws a punch toward Punk but Punk dodges and The Nexus jump all over Justin Gabriel, beating him down in this backstage area with Punk orchestrating the beatdown. Harris yanks up Gabriel -- short-arm clothesline. The crowd boos as Husky Harris stands over Justin Gabriel. CM Punk pats Harris on the shoulder and Harris looks over to the Nexus leader. Punk shakes his head and The Nexus turn and walk off, leaving a downed Justin Gabriel in a small show of compassion. Imagine that.]

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Masahiro Chono vs. Mark Henry

 

[Our next match is an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Both of these men really want the shot at the WWE Championship and it is evident in the hard-hitting punches and kicks that both of these men give. Chono shows a lot more actual wrestling ability in this match than Mark Henry but Henry has a lot of power and that weighs heavily in his favor. Chono takes down Henry with a samoan drop and then heads to the top turnbuckle -- diving shoulderblock sends Henry back down! Chono with a show of power in this match as well. But the momentum shifts when Chono goes for his FTS. Mark Henry uses his power to keep Chono from locking it in and The World's Strongest Man pushes Chono into a corner. Henry gets to his feet and charges the corner -- avalanche! Henry grabs Chono and lifts him up -- World's Strongest Slam! But instead of a pinfall, Henry yanks Chono back up -- Bear Hug! It only takes a few moments before Chono is forced to tap out, moving Mark Henry into the Elimination Chamber match and giving Henry revenge for the attack that Chono did to him last month.]

 

Winner: Mark Henry (Via Submission @ 6:14)

[From the ring, we transition to a video where the man once known as 'The Next Big Thing,' the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is seated within a nondescript room and looking at the camera. The crowd boos this man, though a small portion of the crowd gives him a few cheers.]

"Ever since I came back, people have been asking me why. Why Brock Why? Why did you attack John Cena? You really want to know why I did it? Because I can. That's why. None of you are entitled to any more of an explanation than that. Whether it's here in the WWE or whether it's in Ultimate Fighting, I am an ass-kicker by nature. I am the toughest force to ever be in professional wrestling and I am a future WWE Champion. John Cena, you're my stepping stone to get there. I will cement my legacy here right on top of your tombstone at WrestleMania. John, you always talk about how no one can see you? Well, you're going to see me coming but you won't be able to do anything about it."

 

[Lesnar leans back within the chair with an arrogant smile on his face as we cut away from the video and back into the ring.]

WWE Diva's Title Match

Natalya defends vs. Tamina

 

[Our Divas match this evening pits the WWE Diva's Champion Natalya against the second generation wrestler Tamina. Both of these Divas have a proud heritage to live up to inside the ring with Natalya being the daughter of Jim Neidhart and Tamina the daughter of Jimmy Snuka. The match itself was very good for a Diva's bout here in WWE. Natalya shows a dominance in the ring that proves why she is the Diva's Champion. Around the seven minute mark, she catches Tamina with a powerslam and then plays to the crowd for a moment before grabbing the legs of Tamina -- Sharpshooter! Tamina struggles in the hold for about thirty seconds before she is forced to tap out to avoid further injuries.]

 

Winner: Natalya (Via Submission @ 8:03; Natalya retains the WWE Diva's title)

[As the bell sounds and Natalya is handed the WWE Diva's title, her music is interrupted by the sound of wicked laughter and out from the back comes the woman known as Kharma! Natalya's eyes go wide but she doesn't escape from the ring like Tamina does. Kharma steps inside the ring and goes face to face with the WWE Diva's Champion. Punches are thrown from both sides almost immediately with neither Diva wanting to back down from the other. Officials come running in, spilling inside the ring, working to seperate these two Divas. What an epic battle these two Divas could have!]

[As we go to our next commercial break, Gail Kim comes down to the ring, high-fiving fans but seeming nervous as she looks around, presumably worried that Kharma might show up again. Kim enters the ring and shows off some gymnastics before getting the t-shirt cannon and firing away for the fans within the building. The fans get on their feet, cheering and begging for a t-shirt. Kim fires to all four corners before she re-places the cannon underneath the ring and heads toward the back, high-fiving fans along the entire way.]

['Bed Of Nails' welcomes everyone back from the commercial break as the brand new WWE United States Champion Tyson Kidd comes out from the back along with his bodyguard and manager Jackson Andrews. Kidd waits for Andrews to hold open the ropes for him and he steps inside slowly, looking around for approval. But all he gets from the fans are boos and contempt. Kidd's smile turns into a frown and then a look of disgust.]

 

Tyson Kidd

"All you idiot WWE fans need to shut up in the presence of your new WWE United States Champion! That's right, I'm the guy who beat Daniel Bryan and now I am the guy who has a major announcement to make concerning this title. I was born in Calgary...Alberta, Canada. That means that me holding anything that has United States on it? Not going to happen. So I am making this official. I am changing the United States title belt to the Canada title! Now, please rise and stand on your feet for the playing of the Canadian National Anthem."

 

[Kidd stands beside Jackson Andrews and smiles as 'O Canada' begins to play. The boos from this crowd are evident throughout the song. A U.S.A. chant begins softly and then louder and louder until it nearly overpowers the song. Kidd shakes his head and yells at the crowd off-microphone to shut up! Andrews covers Kidd's ears and when the music stops, the two men just exit the ring and head to the back.]

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Sheamus vs. The Sandman

 

[Our next match is another Elimination Chamber Qualifying match as Sheamus takes on The Sandman in what is a rather short match. The crowd is a little surprised when The Sandman comes down to the ring to 'Enter Sandman,' though it is not the Metallica version. The Sandman smashes his own cane against his own forehead before the bell even sounds. This is about the most offense that The Sandman gets in for this match as we are dominated by Sheamus. Sheamus drops The Sandman with the Irish Curse backbreaker and then tosses him out of the ring. What The Sandman doesn't see is Rhino has come down to ringside and is practically begging him to get up. Sheamus has the referee tied up as The Sandman pulls himself up, grabbing his cane. He turns -- GORE GORE GORE! Rhino practically breaks The Sandman in half with that Gore! Rhino stands over top of The Sandman before The War Machine steps back as the referee turns around. The referee begins his count and has no choice but to count The Sandman out of the ring.]

 

Winner: Sheamus (Via Countout @ 4:28)

[Following the Sheamus victory, we move to a video that begins inside a rather palatial mansion. The camera pans around what is the family room, showing a movie theater style tv screen that takes up an entire wall. Also in this room are very expensive paintings and furniture. Sitting on one of the clean white couches are Ted DiBiase Sr and Mike DiBiase. Both are sipping champagne.]

"Son, this is what every day is going to be like when you enter World Wrestling Entertainment. It is going to be caviar and champagne, while some of those other miscreants are dining from the dumpster behind a convenience store."

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

CM Punk vs. Ultimo Dragon

 

[Our semi main event and this is a good one as both CM Punk and Ultimo Dragon look to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match. The announcers spend time talking about the storied history of Ultimo Dragon early on in this match and the veteran definitely shows himself worthy of this match as he scores several early near falls on Punk. Punk tries to take a breather outside the ring but he gets caught when Dragon catches him with a move he innovated: The Asai Moonsault. As we are focused on ringside, a fan holds up a sign reading: '1 Competition > 6 Steveweisers!' Back in the ring, Dragon goes for a Dragonsteiner, which is a twisting frankensteiner off the top turnbuckle but Punk reverses it into a Super Bomb. Punk picks up Dragon and whips him into the turnbuckle -- step up high knee -- bulldog! Punk soaks in the boos from the crowd before he picks up Dragon -- Go To Sleep! Dragon is laid out in the center of the ring and Punk yanks on him --Anaconda Vice! Dragon tries to fight it or reach the ropes but eventually he has to tap out. CM Punk moves to the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday!]

[CM Punk doesn't want to release the hold even as the referee counts. The crowd cheers as the sound of glass breaking makes Punk release the hold quickly. Ultimo Dragon exits the ring just as Steve Austin enters! Punk's eyes go wide and he tries to escape but Austin grabs Punk and starts throwing punches. He flips him the double bird and then kicks him in the gut -- Stone Cold Stunner! Punk sells it like he got shot and Austin kicks him again and again, stomping a mudhole in CM Punk and walking it dry! Finally Austin pushes Punk out of the ring and begins calling for some Steveweisers, celebrating in the ring to cheers from the crowd.]

[Once again, we head to the Titantron for another video. This one begins with an all black screen and then a symbol shows on the screen. First one symbol, then another and another. The screen is slowly filled with the symbols of what could only be one man. Then the symbols burst and explode to reveal the face of 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels. Daniels has a stoic look on his face as he is seemingly looking out over the WWE Universe. Then an announcer's voice fills the air.]

The Miz, Austin Aries and Husky Harris vs. Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel and John Cena

 

[six man tag team action fills our main event this evening as WWE Champion The Miz teams with two members of The Nexus: Austin Aries and Husky Harris against Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel and John Cena. Needless to say, Gabriel is not in great condition following the beatdown earlier tonight by The Nexus. However, both teams put in an excellent match that showered the ring with offense from all six men. Justin Gabriel was the face-in-peril for most of the match as he was cut off from his teammates and kept in the corner of the bad guys. The Miz, Austin Aries and Husky Harris all three worked together but couldn't score a pinfall or submission on Gabriel. The Miz brings down Gabriel with a swinging corner clothesline. He sits there and looks out toward the crowd where a sign is held up reading: 'He's Mizmerizing!' The Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale and Gabriel slips free, taking down The Miz with a roundhouse kick to the back of the skull. Gabriel crawls toward the corner but so does The Miz. The Miz tags in Husky Harris and Gabriel tags in Daniel Bryan!]

 

[Within moments, all six men are in the ring doing battle. Daniel Bryan is battling Husky Harris, John Cena is battling The Miz and Justin Gabriel is battling with Austin Aries. Gabriel and Aries go through the ropes to the outside of the ring. Cena takes The Miz down with a clothesline and then stands over him doing the 'You Can't See Me' gesture. He bounces off the ropes -- Five Knuckle Shuffle! Daniel Bryan dodges a clothesline from Husky Harris and hits him with a Regal-Plex. Bryan plays to the crowd for a moment as Cena sends The Miz over the top rope to the floor. Bryan moves in to Harris -- LeBell Lock! The LeBell Lock is on and Harris struggles in the hold before being forced to tap out!]

Wow, I did horrible on the last show! Guess you can occasionally throw everyone a curve ball now and then.

 

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Sheamus vs. The Sandman

Comment: In all honesty, Sandman is one of the stranger debuts that I've seen you introduce.

 

Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: CM Punk vs. Ultimo Dragon

Comment: .....Followed immediately by a match with one of the other strangest debuts I've seen you introduce! I do love some Ultimo, but with no cruiser title around, he's just a jobber. Sad.

 

The last Smackdown show threw everyone for a loop and I knew it would. I was definitely trying to make it seem that each side had a chance to win and go inside the Elimination Chamber.

 

And I can understand how strange some of the debuts look in the WWE. The Sandman simply was one of my favorites back in the day and I couldn't help signing and bringing him in when I needed workers.

 

As far as Ultimo Dragon goes, I brought him in to bring a lot more workrate and psychology to the company. Ultimo Dragon is a very good worker IMO, though, I would need to bring more character to him in order to push him.

 

Enjoyed that Raw, I'll be interested to see how the Fallen Angel is booked in WWE.

 

The Fallen Angel is someone I actually have booked to next year's WrestleMania. Or, rather, I have plans for him at that point in time. He is another excellent worker that has a future in this company.

We have three of the top hated heels on Smackdown and three of the most beloved faces on Smackdown going at it in six man tag team action. All six men showed why they are the tops of the sport early on in the match but things settled slightly with Christian getting stuck in the opposition's corner. Barrett, Swagger and Del Rio all made quick tags in and out to keep the fresh man in the ring. But none of the three could keep Christian down for a three count. Swagger tries to put Christian away with a Gutwrench Powerbomb but Christian counters that into a rollup that scores a two count. Christian and Swagger take each other down with a double clothesline. The crowd tries to get behind Christian as both men look to make tags. One fan holds up his sign reading: '#1 Peep!' Alberto Del Rio and the WWE World Champion Edge become the legal men when both men get to their corners.]</span></em></p><p><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> </span></em></p><p><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> [Edge brings down Del Rio with a clothesline but Wade Barrett comes in -- body slam by Batista! Del Rio sneaks in behind Edge and rolls him up: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Batista and Wade Barrett trade blows inside the ring, causing the referee to step in and try to seperate those two men. As they do so, Ricardo Rodriguez tosses Del Rio a chair. Del Rio turns to Edge -- WHAM! He nails Edge with the chair! A second shot while Edge is on the mat. Del Rio tosses the chair out of the ring before the referee can turn around and see what is going on. Del Rio looks down at Edge and then grabs him by the arm -- Cross Armbreaker! Edge struggles in the hold. Above him, Christian climbs to the top turnbuckle -- tripped and crotched by Swagger! Batista enters the ring but he's too late. One of the six men involved will leave the Chamber headed for WrestleMania. </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>The match begins with Kofi Kingston's pod opening and Wade Barrett's pod opening.</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> These two men show that they are two top athletes right here on Smackdown. Near falls come early and often. Kingston uses the structure, hitting Barrett with a flying kick as he came leaping off the top turnbuckle, drawing a two count. At this point, </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Big Show enters the match</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">! Show and Kingston double-team Wade Barrett as he doesn't have the ability to run away from the Big Show here or hide behind Tyson Tomko. Show sets up Barrett for a Chokeslam but Kingston rolls Show up from behind: 1 -- 2 -- Kickout! Show turns his attention to Kingston and the battle continues. Kingston tries to hit Show with the same flying kick that he hit Barrett with but he gets caught around the throat by Show -- Chokeslam! Barrett strikes Show in the knee from behind and then covers Kofi Kingston: 1 -- 2 -- 3! </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Kofi Kingston is eliminated!</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Shortly after the elimination, another pod opens and </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Kane steps free from the pod.</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> The Big Red Monster teams up with Wade Barrett to attack Big Show. Kane sends Show into the steel, raking his face along the wall. Wade Barrett steps back and just watches for now while Kane and Show battle it out. The buzzer goes off and another pod opens...</span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Christian enters the match!</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Christian goes right after Wade Barrett and we have four men doing battle inside the Chamber. The battle continues with all four men changing who they fight again and again. </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Jack Swagger enters the match!</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> We have now had all six men enter the Elimination Chamber! The next elimination comes when Barrett rolls up Big Show and grabs the tights for extra measure: 1 -- 2 -- 3! </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Big Show is eliminated</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">! As soon as Barrett rises, though, Christian grabs him and turns him around -- Killswitch! Swagger sends Kane over the top rope with a clothesline and exits the ring, ramming Kane's head against the unforgiving steel! Swagger and Christian actually form a brief alliance to work over Kane. The Devil's Favorite Demon is dropped with a double DDT on the steel. Batista scores a near fall following a Spinebuster but somehow Del Rio manages to get one shoulder up. Ricardo Rodriguez proves to be an asset to Del Rio as Rodriguez distracts Batista from outside the ring. This turns the match in the favor of Del Rio. Del Rio catches Batista with a double knee armbreaker. Then the Mexican Aristocrat manages to lock in the Cross Armbreaker! The Miz looks confident, the current WWE Champion, but he cannot be too confident as there is a major chance that he might lose his title tonight. Two pods open and </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>CM Punk and John Cena begin the match.</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Cena is definitely the worse for wear after the beating he took from Brock Lesnar earlier on. Punk knows this and takes full advantage, applying a shocking beating to Cena early on. Punk slams Cena into the chamber itself, busting Cena open within the first few minutes. Another pod opens, </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Sheamus enters the chamber</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. The Great White joins in with CM Punk on a beating of John Cena. The two men run Cena into the wall and then Punk turns on Sheamus. The two men exchange punches and Punk goes for an early Go-To-Sleep but Sheamus drops off the shoulders without being hit with the move. The match continues and before the next person comes in Cena catches Sheamus with the Attitude Adjustment! He locks in the STF and Sheamus struggles, fighting the hold. The time limit runs out, </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>John Morrison enters the match</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;">. Morrison goes right after Sheamus, kicking him as much as he can with Cena holding the STF on him. Sheamus taps out! </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Sheamus is eliminated!</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Morrison and CM Punk battle it out in one corner, while Cena moves into another corner, trying to keep away from the action for the moment and recover. Punk whips Morrison into a corner and catches him with a high knee right into the bulldog. Punk makes the 'Go-To-Sleep' sign and the buzzer goes off. </span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"><strong>Mark Henry enters the match!</strong></span></em><em><span style="font-family:TAHOMA;"> Mark Henry catches CM Punk with a clothesline from behind! He tosses Punk over the top rope to the steel floor. Then Henry grabs Morrison and tosses him over as well. Henry shows his immense power when he grabs Morrison and tosses him through one of the empty pods! Morrison is busted open! Morrison looks like a rag doll. Mark Henry turns and is immediately attacked by CM Punk. Within a few minutes of the assault, Punk shows his strength when he lifts Henry -- Go To Sleep!
