This will be my dynasty for my ongoing promotion, Ring WARRIORS. I've been running it since for about 8 years.

Here's a quick background on Ring WARRIORS. Founded in 1999 by entrepreneur Jonathon Hall with the intention of creating a marketable promotion at a time when the sport was in it's dark age. WARRIORS quickly became a household name in the MMA world, creating and housing pound for pound stars in Isaiah Monroe and Allen Sylvia, to name a few. In addition, RW became the first promotion to not only feature the standard divisions (LW, WW, MW, LHW, HW), but the featherweight, bantamweight and flyweight divisions as well. Having held events in America, Japan, Singapore, England, Lithuania and Brazil, RW are considered one of the top promotions in the world.

CURRENT CHAMPIONS

Heavyweight

Ari Peltonen (Two time)

#14 Pound-for-Pound, #1 Heavyweight

33-12-0

0 defenses

A veteran fighter known for his dominant "anti-jiu jitsu" wrestling style, Peltonen is a master of submissions and over the years has developed his striking game as well. Coming out of retirement in his late 30s, Peltonen went on a four fight winning streak before winning the title from Tim Boyer at Ring WARRIORS 80. Losing his title to Omar Khan in only his second defense, Peltonen would later recover it in a rematch with Khan via a fifth round armbar. He is expected to defend his title against Khan in a rubber match sometime soon.

Light Heavyweight

Isaiah Monroe

#1 Pound-for-Pound, #1 Light Heavyweight

23-0-0

4 defenses

Considered by most sports publications as the greatest mixed martial artist of all time, Isaiah Monroe is the only fighter to concurrently hold two titles in two different weight classes. Originally a wrestler, Monroe is a well rounded fighter with technical boxing skills and nearly unstoppable takedowns, having submitted noted grapplers in Rodney Bradley and Marcos Mendoza as well as out striking top-tier kickboxers in Rafael van der Moot, Affonso Villar and Tadao Miyazaki. With talks of a bout at heavyweight and having turned 31 this year, it doesn't seem like Monroe will be stopping anytime soon. He is expected to defend his title against veteran Tadamasa Yamada in the near future.

Middleweight

Isaiah Monroe

#1 Pound-for-Pound, #1 Light Heavyweight

23-0-0

11 defenses

Interim Middleweight

Marcos Mendoza

#7 Pound-for-Pound, #1 Middleweight

58-24-1

2 defenses

A true veteran of the sport, 43 year old Marcos Mendoza was the inaugural middleweight champion before losing his title to future P4P superstar, Isaiah Monroe. Subsequently going 3-3 after the loss, including a submission loss in a rematch against Monroe, Mendoza moved to welterweight where he found mixed success, going 3-2 in his first five bouts. Follow the slump, Mendoza would go on a four fight win streak with wins over Doug Hansen and Ikku Funaki, as well as knocking out former champion Jim Carpenter in 26 seconds, before losing to Allen Sylvia. Mendoza would fight once more, a win over contender Hamilton Fonseca Junior, before retiring. About a year later, Mendoza came out of retirement. After only one fight back from retirement, a submission win over Irish striker Rhys Buck, Mendoza was pegged to fight Braulio Moura for the interim Middleweight title. The two would fight to a draw, though Mendoza would later take the rematch by submission in the fourth round to become the interim champion. Mendoza has defended his title twice, two 5-round wars against Nathan Ronald and Joaquim Fontes, and hopes to defend it for a third time against James Spencer.

The first preliminary of the night takes place in the middleweight division, as Brazilian fighters Agustin Amade and Nicolas Ruas lock horns.

Amade is a versatile fighter who can succeed anywhere the fight goes. Known best for his striking, Amade is also proficient on the ground. Nicolas Ruas is a former Muay Thai champion in his home country of Brazil. A dangerous striker with accurate punches and hard leg kicks, he's looking for his first career win tonight, and predicts a first round knockout.

Ruas is able to dodge a jab and counter with a spinning back fist that doesn't land flush. Moments later, Ruas is able to land a hard right to the jaw during a striking exchange. It's clear who the better striker is between the two. Ruas is using his jab well and it's allowing him to land nearly everything he throws, though nothing too powerful. The first round ends, 10-9 for Ruas due mostly to being the more active fighter.

Ruas takes the center of the ring quickly in round number two. He steps in with a combination but goes down off of a hard counter right, he's out cold!

The winner by KO (punch) is Agustin Amade!

Our second prelim of the night sees Ring WARRIORS veteran, Arturo Diaz, face off against Paul Smith in the bantamweight division.

What Diaz lacks in power, he makes up for with his technical skills. A good boxer with underrated grappling, Diaz hopes to continue his recent winning streak with a win over Smith. A former NCAA Div I champion, Paul Smith came into MMA at the older age of 29. Despite a 1-1 record, the 31 year old Smith feels he has what it takes to go places within the sport, and thinks a win over Diaz will just be the beginning.

Both men start slow, trying to find their range. Smith lands a nice over hand right and then takes the opportunity to take Diaz down. Smith's dominant top game prevents Diaz from getting up or using his jiu jitsu from the bottom, allowing Smith to easily take the first round 10-9.

The second round is more of the same as Smith is able to take Diaz down at will, as well as landing some nice shots standing. It isn't the most exciting fight, but Smith has looked impressive so far against the veteran in Diaz. 10-9 Smith.

Diaz began to take advantage of a tiring Smith in the third, stuffing two out of three takedowns and landing some good shots from the outside. While Smith has looked good considering his inexperience, his lack of cardio and stand up skills are beginning to show in this third round. Diaz out lands Smith to take the third 10-9.

After three rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for the decision. The judges score it 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27 for the winner by unanimous decision... Paul Smith!

Smith takes the slight upset against Diaz, but does it in particularly dull fashion in a fight that somehow managed to showcase more holes in his own game than his opponent's.

Taking place in the welterweight division, the third preliminary is now set to begin.

Canadian wrestler Jeffrey Foxworthy is a dominant takedown artist with good ground and pound. Having lost his first fight within the promotion to striker Jeremy Douille, he hopes to prove his worth by taking out his veteran opponent. An atypical Mexican fighter, Trevino defies the "brawler" stereotype and opts to grapple with his opponents. Coming off of a nearly five year lay off, Trevino hopes to take home a win tonight.

They take the center of the ring, Trevino landing a nice counter right hand off of a jab not long after. Not trying to play the stand up game, Trevino shoots for a single and surprisingly takes the Division I wrestler to the floor. After a bit of positioning, Trevino is able to pass guard into side mount. Trevino doesn't go for the submission, opting to mount his opponent and go for the TKO! Trevino pounds away with nice punches, Foxworthy unable to advance his position. After about a minute, the referee stops the fight due to Foxworthy's inability to intelligently defend himself.

The winner by TKO (punches) is Gregor Trevino!

In his first fight sice 2002, Trevino pulls out an easy win against the Canadian prospect.

</td></tr></table>

In the final preliminary of the night, featherweight striker Duey Rickert hopes to earn his first Ring WARRIORS win against the skilled grappler Tyler Aidi.

Known best for his losses to Arturo Diaz and Ashihei Bando, Duey Rickert is a British striker who can finish the fight in the blink of an eye. Now 35 years old, Rickert feels he's at a place in his career where it's now or never if he wants to have success in MMA. But, he must first get passed the jiu jitsu wiz, Tyler Aidi. The 30 year old Canadian has lost his first two fights within the promotion, but don't let his modest 7-2 record fool you; he is one of the best grapplers in North America and intends on spoiling the dreams of Rickert tonight.

After a feeling out process, Aidi manages to take Rickert down to the floor. In half guard, Aidi immediately goes for the kimura lock but Rickert is able to prevent him from getting it. Rickert attempts a sweep but is unable to get the jiu jitsu specialist off of him. While Aidi is able to control his opponent on the ground well, Rickert shows good defense in prevent Aidi from passing his half guard or getting a submission. Either way, 10-9 for Aidi.

Rickert comes out swinging for round two, unable to catch Aidi flush with any shots. After exchanging some strikes, they wind up clinching. Aidi slams Rickert to the floor, winding up guard! Aidi is able to quickly pass to side control. Moving to mount with relative ease, Aidi takes control of Rickerts arm in what looks like a key lock attempt. Alas, it is as Aidi shifts to side control for added pressure and forces the tapout!

The winner via tap-out (keylock) is Tyler Aidi!

In the first fight on the main card, lightweight contender Benny Danare hopes to spoil the debut of Brazilian judoka, Lautaro Ruas.

A veteran of over 20 fights, Benny "The Jet" Danare is a dangerous grappler with an underrated stand up game. One of the best grapplers to come out of North America, Danare uses his technical jiu jitsu to tire out his opponents and allow him to finish his opponent with a submission or knock him out standing.

Danare: "I give Ruas the utmost respect. I've seen his stuff and he's really, really good. Great clinch work, great positional grappling, but his submissions have always looked like one of his weaker areas. I don't see him beating me by anything but a decision."

A judo black belt, Ruas is a master of throws and submission holds and has one of the best top games in all of MMA. Having won nearly all of his fights by submission, Ruas hopes to do the same to "The Jet" tonight.

Ruas: "I'm glad he's underestimating my submissions because it will allow me to catch him when he least suspects it. He's underestimating me even more if he thinks he can submit me."

Both men make their way to the center of the cage. Ruas counters a jab with one of his own before quickly grabbing a single leg and taking Danare to the ground. Ruas throws some small punches, but Danare does well in keeping him from posturing up. Danare grabs an arm and tries for a triangle choke, but Ruas is able to defend and use the triangle to spin to side control. Danare tries for a sweep from the bottom but Ruas keeps him on his back. After another failed sweep attempt, Ruas uses the opportunity to take the back! But the round ends before he can capitalize. Ruas out grapples Danare with ease and takes the round 10-9.

Danare seems like he wants to keep this fight standing, landing a nice jab on the outside. Ruas uses an exchange to get in close and clinch with Danare, forcing him up against the cage. After a bit of dirty boxing, Ruas uses a nice leg trip to take him to the ground. Danare pulls half guard but looks uncomfortable under the much better Ruas. Ruas maintains position while throwing some short punches in half guard, not attempting any submissions for the time being. Danare tries for a guillotine choke, but Ruas easily defends it. After a few submissions attempts from both parties, the round ends. Once again, 10-9 for Ruas due to his top control.

The men come forward for the final round. Ruas counters a combination with a hard right hand, dropping Danare! In a scramble, Ruas is able to take Danare's back. He easily sinks his hooks in, the end may be near. After some struggling, Ruas is able to lock in the rear naked choke! Danare is forced to tap out!

What a win for Lautaro Ruas!

The winner via tap out (rear naked choke) is Lautaro Ruas!

In what looked to be a grueling decision win waiting to happen, Ruas comes out guns blazing and ends the fight quickly in the third. Ruas' stock will no doubt rise with a win over a guy like Danare.

We move now to the welterweight division, as 51 year old veteran Dan Halvorsen hopes to once again defy father time with a win over the always elusive Kafu Bunya

A versatile veteran with years of experience, Dan Halvorsen has been fighting since the dark ages of the sport. Originally a wrestler, Halvorsen has trained to improve his stand up as well as his jiu jitsu game. Currently riding a two fight winning streak, he hopes to end the night quickly against the flashy Kafu Bunya.

Halvorsen: "He's a fast, technical, elusive, flashy fighter. But, I don't think he's dangerous. He's not a powerful puncher or kicker, and I know he can't take me down. I don't see any way he beats me tonight."

Having spent most of his career in Japan, karate black belt Kafu Bunya is a striker who likes to rack up points with his elusive, flashy style.

Bunya: "I think Halvorsen is a great fighter, and I'm not taking him lightly due to his age. I've seen him knockout opponents many years younger than him, but I do think his cardio make come into question when facing someone as fast paced as me."

They move to the center of the ring, and quickly exchange but no punches land. Bunya lands a sharp right hand to the body. He avoids a takedown from Halvorsen. They exchange once again, and Halvorsen uses the opportunity to clinch with Bunya and hold him against the cage. Halvorsen smothers Bunya with his dirty boxing, trying for a few takedowns but none can get Bunya off his feet. Bunya shows his own grappling skills, using a wizzer to turn Halvorsen and move back towards the center of the ring. The round ends, and I'd give it 10-9 to Halvorsen due to his control in the clinch.

Bunya comes out fast, landing a nice body kick. Halvorsen shows some striking skill of his own, countering a right hand with some good body shots. Bunya once again avoids a strike and lands a body kick, possibly using them as a way to tire out his older opponent. Bunya uses most of the round to dart in and out of range, landing good shots in the process. Halvorsen goes for a takedown and achieves it, ducking under a counter right hand. While he is able to move to side control, the round ends before he can inflict any damage. 10-9 Bunya.

Between rounds, Halvorsen's corner tells him to stand and bang but look for takedown opportunities. Bunya counters a right hand with a three punch body-head combination. He continues to out strike the slower, less technical Halvorsen on the feet before being forced into the clinch. Halvorsen tries to take Bunya down but to no avail. Halvorsen uses his dirty boxing to keep Bunya guessing, but the round ends before he can do anything with the clinch. 10-9 Bunya.

After three rounds of action, we go to the judges scorecards for the decision. The judges score it 30-27... Bunya, 29-28... Halvorsen, and 29-28 for the winner by split decision... Kafu Bunya!

In what will be the co-main event of the evening, former light heavyweight champion Harrison Copeland hopes to take out the dangerous striker in Menzu Zoubari.

Originally a grappler, the rugged Harrison Copeland has knockout power, a rock solid jaw and an iron will to go with it. A rugged veteran who likes to stand and bang, Copeland can also take it to the ground and finish it there if he has to.

Copeland: "I want my title back, so in my eyes Zoubari is just another obstacle I need to get through. He's a great striker but he's going to under estimate my power, they all do... and when he does, it's gonna be lights out."

The Algerian born Menzu Zoubari is a dangerous kick boxer, having won numerous titles within Europe and North America. The owner of the some of the best kicks in all of MMA, Zoubari is also noted for his underrated ground skills and clinch striking.

Zoubari: "Copeland is a very tough, rugged guy but if he thinks he's gonna KO me, he's insane. He's underestimating my power and my grappling, so I'm gonna bring it to him in this fight."

After a few exchanges on the feet, Copeland ducks under a right hand and takes Zoubari down. Copeland smothers his opponent on the ground, peppering him with short punches and elbows from the guard. Not much action this round, 10-9 Copeland.

Zoubari just barely misses with two spectacular spinning back kicks, Copeland elusive on the feet. Copeland manages to takedown Zoubari once again. From the guard, Zoubari throws up a triangle choke, it's deep! Copeland lifts him up for a big slam, but it fails as it allows Zoubari to tighten the choke! Copeland taps out! What an amazing finish for Zoubari!

The winner by tap out (triangle choke) is Menzu Zoubari!

Proving he is one of the best in the division, Menzu Zoubari finishes the fight with a perfectly executed triangle choke.

It is now time for the main event of the evening, will Wallace Everett once again defend his title, or will former title challenger Joao Correia finally taste MMA gold?

The former two time Ring WARRIORS featherweight champion and current bantamweight champion, many consider Wallace Everett to be the greatest fighter below 155lbs of all time. A relentless boxer with power in both hands and great takedown defense, Everett has finished the majority of his fights by knockout. Undefeated at bantamweight, Everett hopes to make it a short night against the Brazilian challenger.

Everett: "He's a great fighter, he is good everywhere, but I feel I'm the better striker and I'm the more experienced fighter. It's nothing personal, but tonight I'm going to try to destroy Joao Correia."

A former title challenger, Joao Correia failed to capture the title from former champion Javier O'Brien in a fight he felt that he under performed in. Now, at the age of 35, Correia feels he has what it takes to defeat the seemingly unbeatable Everett.

Correia: "I'm a versatile fighter who can knock you out, submit you, or take you to decision. He thinks that he's going to beat me easily, at that will be his downfall."

They quickly exchange but end up falling into the clinch. Correia pushes Everett against the cage, but Everett is able to reverse the position. He lands two nice elbows and a knee to Correia against the cage. Everett is landing some hard elbows and knees from the clinch, Correia is trying his best to cover up. They break and began to exchange on the feet. Correia lands a good leg kick, and Everett answers with a right hand. The round ends. 10-9 Everett due to his dirty boxing and effective striking.

Early on in the second round, Correia manages to take Everett to the ground. Everett pulls guard. Everett goes for the triangle, but Correia is ready and defends with ease. The two exchange submission attempts, but neither is able to do much. The round ends, 10-9 for Correia for his top control and submission attempts.

Everett's corner tells him to be very aggressive and let his hands go. In doing so, he gets take down early. After a few moments, Everett pushes off with his legs to start a scramble, resulting in both men standing back up. Correia already looks to be gassing. Everett steps in with a hard over-hand right, catching Correia off balance and knocking him out cold!

The winner by KO (punch) and still the Ring WARRIORS Bantamweight Champion of the world is Wallace Everett!

We start with the heavyweights, as former kick boxing champion Juozas Skerla goes head to head against the hard hitting Samuel Russell. Having won numerous kick boxing titles, including the K-Network Grand Prix, Juozas Skerla is a dangerous striker with great takedown defense and an underrated guard. His opponent, Samuel Russell, is a similar fighter known for his rugged, brawling style.

In a great display of striking, Skerla dominates the fight with his technically sound kick boxing. After winning the first round, Skerla came out and ended the fight quickly in the second landing a beautiful counter right hand and following up with some ground and pound to force the finish.

The winner by TKO (punches) is Juozas Skerla!

We move to the featherweights as striker Stephen Wu takes on the versatile Stephen Conti. Having won his first fight in Ring WARRIORS by knockout, Stephen Wu would like to continue this with a finish victory over his opponent. But, England's Stephen Conti has other plans. A versatile fighter who can strike and grapple, Conti feels he will be too much for Wu.

Proving why is one of the best prospects in the sport, Conti took Wu down at will in the first round before finishing him off with an armbar. Now 3-1 in RW, the 24 year old Conti will look to continue on his attempt to rise to the top.

The winner via tap out (armbar) is Stephen Conti!

(I'll finish the rest tomorrow, need to sleep for now)
