Calinks
I am using modern warriors 10 and I just realized I didn't have the proper picture pack. I am a bit into this game and want to update everyone with their proper pictures.
Calinks
Anyone? I don't want to go further into my franchise unless I know I can fix this picture problem.
Iceisle
<p>Can't you just copy the missing pictures into the folder you're using for that save? I seem to remember doing that to replace pictures for a few individual fighters (Jason Dalglish for example, who I've always thought looked too goofy to be so skilled) without any problems.</p><p> </p><p> As far as changing the picture folder that the savegame uses, I could be wrong, but I don't think that's possible. Not sure if that's what you're wanting to do.</p>
Calinks
I'll try that. I'm just trying to update my current game with the picks. Thanks for the tip.
Calinks
Bah, that didn't work. If I start a new game I will have the faces but it doesnt seem like I can bring them into my current game.
Iceisle
<p>Sorry to hear that. It's odd, though. I just replaced a photo in the MW10 picture folder as a test, and the game started using the new version automatically. I deleted the picture and the fighter had the black square, put it back and it was working again, and so on...</p><p> </p><p> As long as the file names in the picture folder match the file names that your game is looking for, I don't understand why it wouldn't work. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Then again, I'm far from an expert when it comes to WMMA. If you're certain that the pictures are the right set for MW10 and you're putting them in the right folder, I don't know what else to try.</p>
Calinks
Maybe they are going in the wrong folder. Let me mess around with it some more.
Calinks
Iceisle you were right man! I had so many different folders I was copying and pasting into the wrong ones. I finally found the one this particular game was using and I got the new pics up and running. Big relief as I thought I would have to start over. Thank you sir! Yeah, it saves a shortcut in the editor. So as long as you have the photo name in the folder that syncs with the one on the fighter in the editor then they should show up regardless. You can also swap them for alternates from the in-game editor in the options menu, I believe.
