There's also a download link there for anyone who already has the skins.] Blue: [Download Link] This is my first attempt at making a skin for WMMA. The bright blue might be hard on the eyes for some, which is totally understandable. I don't mind it, but I don't usually play for more than half an hour at a time. Also, I didn't change the taskbars (other than the color), because the originals fit the skin really well in my opinion. Bonus Versions! I sort of started before I knew what I'd gotten myself into, but luckily I kept it pretty simple. Honestly, I'd still say it's a lot less work than setting up a database. I did say it was my first attempt at making a WMMA skin! Luckily my lightweight champion is Lester James Hewitt, who comes pretty close to going past the border, so I caught it somewhat early. It's fixed now, and the download links have been updated. If you already downloaded the skin, just replace "titles.jpg" in the backgrounds folder with one of these: [blue] [Red] Sorry about that. Iceisle Posted June 25, 2012 Author Share Posted June 25, 2012 Anyone who downloaded the red skin (before this post, of course) needs to replace "website.jpg" in the backgrounds folder with this: [Link] I messed up when changing the color and the Blurcat.com logo is layered twice. Because it has a sort of transparency, it's twice as bright as it should be and pretty much lost the gradient effect. That's the only thing that's changed, and it's not too noticeable, so it's no big deal if you stick with the old background. I made the skin according to my own preferences, so I used a handful of my favorite fighters like Alejandro Laguera (my absolute favorite), Janinha, Heikichi Shimizu, Moss Gilbert and Daniela Sadorra, and just picked out some good renders to fill the rest of the space. With that in mind, I'm willing to take requests (for a while) for some additional title screens to give everyone plenty of options. Just PM me a list of 15 fighters, and I'll do what I can. Order it by importance if you want, since there's no way I can actually fit 15 people. Fighters not included in the default data are probably okay, because I might have them in my database (or I at least have the render somewhere), but I can't do any real world guys unless you feel like sending me some body cutouts. EDIT: Oh, and be sure to let me know if you're looking for a re-rendered version of someone. Christ Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 maybe it's just my eyes but i don't see much of a difference between the blue and the purple, which sucks as when i saw there was a purple i got excited for a few minutes i'm liking the skin tho, using the red one at the moment and i've tried making a skin in the past so i know how annoyingly difficult it can be, but it's nice to be able to mix it up visually between different games so thanks for giving us more options Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was bugging me when I started testing that version, but I didn't fix it because I didn't know if there would be any interest in a purple skin anyway. It was very close to slipping off of the first page, if it hadn't already. Very happy to see people getting use out of these skins, and I might try to come up with a new design one of these days. This one was fun to make, but I was sort of learning as I went along, so there are a lot of tiny mistakes and things I could have done better. Namely the two profile screens (body and face) and the match screen. I also put together a new title screen using my picture pack. Here's a link to the updates (for all 6 colors) for those who already have the skins: [Download Link] Screenshots: [1][2][3] The information boxes on the profile screens were overlapping, and it looked terrible. I noticed the mistake right after making this thread and it has been bothering me ever since. I also fixed the border that goes around the body picture. It used to connect to those boxes, which doesn't look right with pictures that have backgrounds or renders/cuts that cut off on the right side. As for the match screen, I just wanted to make it more obvious that there's a button for the tale of the tape. Other than that and a minor edit to the sides, nothing is different. I might put together a C-Verse title screen with the same design as the new one at some point, but I probably won't bother unless there's some interest in it. I'm good with this for now. [EDIT: All of the download links in my previous posts have been updated.
