<p></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Are These Women the World's Greatest Female MMA Fighters?</strong></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af143/Jipper16/BestFemaleFighters.png</span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p>

<span style="font-size:12px;">While announcing that EMMA's next Grand Prix will be the companies second all female card, EMMA CEO stated that his company has the best two female fighters in all of MMA. In explanation EMMA's CEO said that, </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>"Cyborg and Rousey may be getting all of the attention but while they've been dazzling around in the spotlight, other, better fighters have been out there proving they're the best. I'm not going to argue that Strikforce possibly have the top two 135 and 145 pound women's fighters. That doesn't make them the best though. Tara Larosa has more wins that Cyborg and Rousey have had fights. She's been out there proving fight after fight that she's the best female fighter in the world for well over half a decade. She has over twenty wins and of her only two losses one was early in her career and the other was a controversial decision against a woman she's beaten before.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>

Ronda Rousey is currently getting all of the hype While Zoila Gurgel has been proving herself as the best 115 pound female out there. Gurgel has beaten incubent 115 Queen Megumi Fujii and the only other woman who's ever beaten Fujii, Jessica Aguilar. Both of whom are also under contract with us. It should be a great 115 pound Grand Prix when we get there, perhaps our best to date. Listen, Strikeforce has two of the top 5 women in the world and maybe 4 of the top 10 female fighters in the world. We have the rest. EMMA is the place for women's MMA. We are the home for female fighters."</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;">

While there may be question at to the best female fighter in the world, no one can question that EMMA has the majority of female fighters including all the top women fighters under 135 pounds. Argue, Cyborg, Rousey, Kaufman, LaRosa, Gurgel, Fujii, McMann all you want but EMMA is the top promotion for Women's MMA, at least until Strikeforce or the UFC makes more of a commitment.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

A Superweight Legend

Semmy Schilt started his martial arts career with Karate. http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af143/Jipper16/WMMA/Fighter%20Bodies/SemmySchilt.png Influenced by his parents Sem practiced full contact Ashihara Karate earning 7 different champion titles including, 2 times Daido Juku Hokutoki champion, open-weight division for '96/'97, 2 times IBK (International Budo Kai) European champion full contact karate and 3 times IBK (International Budo Kai) Dutch champion full contact karate.

Semmy transitioned his Karate skills into the new sport of mixed martial arts in 1996. He started his MMA career in Japan with the Pancrase organization. Sem became an immediate star in Japan due to his 6'11" size and due to his fighting abilities including his knock out power. In 1999 Sem became the openweight King of Pancrase defending his title 3 times never losing it. The Karate striker had a learning curve with mixed martial arts' ground game meeting mixed results. As he rose through the ranks making it to the UFC, Schilt was just getting the ground game down when in 2002 he discovered a different sport.

In '02 Semmy discovered a sport more suiting his skill set. While rising to fame in Japan Semmy took up K-1 Kickboxing, a popular sport in Japan. Semmy was an immediate success. In 2005 Semmy won the K-1 Paris World Grand Prix. He followed that up by winning three straight K-1 World Grand Prix titles in three consecutive years. A feat that no one has accomplished before or since. Semmy also captured the K-1 Super Heavyweight title during this time. He's defended his title 4 times since then. While failing to qualify for the '08 World Grand Prix Semmy went on to win his fourth K-1 World GP in 2009. Four Grand Prix titles is also a record.

Since the tsunami in Japan and the troubles the country has had including the fall of K-1 Semmy has been taking select Kickboxing fights in K-1 mirror organizations, It's Showtime and the European Glory organizations. After over a year layoff from active competition the 38 year old striking legend came back to kickboxing action last year still having the desire to prove he's still the best. With no intention of every competing in MMA again, the lack of consistent Kickboxing fights available lead Sem to take EMMA up on their offer to compete in their upcoming MMA Grand Prix. K-1's most decorated striker stated,

"When they (EMMA) approached me to compete for them, I immediately turned it down. I told them that I was no longer interested in MMA. I've made a kickboxing career. The people from EMMA were persistent though. They told me it would be in a Grand Prix. A proper Grand Prix. That intrigued me. When they told me they wanted me in the Superweight Grand Prix is when I first started to consider it. They threw out some names of who I might be competing against. Their were a lot of K-1 guys in there. There isn't a lot of depth or opportunity for guys my size in MMA unless they can make 265 pound. I'm way beyond my 265 pound days myself. They sold me on being a pioneer for larger MMA athletes. I got excited to face the old K-1 guys in yet another Grand Prix. Another chance to prove I'm the best striker in the world. I may not have the ground skills of the mixed martial arts guys but I do believe I'm good enough to handle anyone who's over 265 pounds. I'm excited for this Grand Prix. Mixed Martial Arts will be getting me at my best."

Semmy went on to say, "I was disappointed to hear that Tim Sylvia would be in the Heavyweight tournament instead of the Superweight. I was looking forward to facing a former UFC champion. Who knows. Maybe after I win they'll set that up."

Sem Schilt is the greatest striker in K-1 history. He is a Martial Arts legend. If he'd never switched from MMA to kickboxing there's not telling how far he would have gotten in MMA. What we will get to see is if the striking legend is more skilled than 15 MMA and K-1 fighters that he'll be competing against in January. We'll also get to see the King of Grand Prix's get one more chance for Grand Prix success.

Empire Mixed Martial Arts confirmed today that their next Grand Prix will be in their anticipated and somewhat controversial Cruiserweight (206-225 pound) division. It's long been thought that Mirko "CroCop" Filipovic will face Pedro Rizzo at the event. EMMA did confirm today that this fight will likely be the Main Event of the card. Both CroCop and Rizzo are veterans of the sport, nearing the end of their respective careers. Though both have fought in the Heavyweight division their entire careers, the two devastating strikers have somehow never managed to meet inside the cage. CroCop spent the majority of his MMA career in Japan fighting for then top MMA promotion Pride Fighting Championship. Rizzo spent the early part of his career in the UFC and for the last several years he's been a top Heavyweight on the Indepentent fight scene.

Other fighters believed to be appearing on the card are recent EMMA signees Andrei Arlovski, Bobby Lashley and Rolles Gracie. Bellator star Alexey Oleinik could also be on the card. Oleinik dropped to Light Heavyweight for the first time in his last fight but had a very difficult weight cut. Oleinik is signed with EMMA but didn't appear on their 205 pound card, leading us to believe he may try to find a home in the new Cruiserweight division. Another announcement today was that the Cruiserweight Grand Prix will be the companies second international event. The companies first and only event outside the U.S. announced so far has been the companies first event ever which will take place New Years Eve in Japan. No word yet on where the card will be held but Canada is a possibility. We'll keep you up to date as more information becomes available.

2 Legends with Over 200 Fights Finally Meet for the 1st Time

http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af143/Jipper16/WMMA/Fighter%20Headshots/JeremyHorn.pnghttp://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af143/Jipper16/WMMA/Fighter%20Headshots/Minowaman.png

What defines a legend? Some would say it's only a definition of success. Anderson Silva, the longest running champion of the world's largest mixed martial arts promotion for instance, would be considered a legend by almost all. The modern day form of a legend is defined as. "A person who embodies the pinnacle of all the important social aspects. Any person who is original, unlike the rest, standing above them all. Someone who is nominated a legend by his piers. A person to whose persona you aspire."

There is no doubt that "Minowaman" is a legend to the Japanese people. He achieved this status, not by holding a premier championship title. Ikuhisa Minowa became a legend in Japan doing something the Japanese people aspire to. He defeated an extraordinary number of fighters much larger than himself. At only 5'9" Minowaman has defeated fighters a foot and a half taller than him. While Minowaman fought regularly in the 185 Middleweight division, he's routinely beaten fighters weighing well over 300 pounds, even defeating fighters twice his weight at times. Nearing 90 fights under his belt, Ikuhisa "Minowaman" Minowa is a legend to the Japanese people and throughout the mixed martial arts world.

Like Minowaman, Jeremy "Gumby" Horn has never held a premier MMA title in a top organisation. He has however been a top contender fighting for gold in companies like the UFC on numerous occasions. With well over 100 fights, an unheard of number, Horn has consistently remained a top contender in his respective weight class throughout his 16 plus year career. Even when Horn wasn't with a top promotion he was still the mark that other fighters in his division were judged by. Many fighters in the last 16 years have lost contracts with bigger promotions or earned them by winning or losing to Horn. The one constant in American MMA since it's modern day inception in the early 1990's is one, Jeremy Horn.

With over 200 fights between the two fighters and nearly 100 submission wins in over 30 years of MMA experience, Minowa and Horn are MMA legends in their own right. These two well experienced veterans have managed to make it to the near end of their respective careers without meeting inside a ring or cage. Though they both began fighting in MMA in 1996, in 16 years the two have never locked horns (no pun intended). That all comes to an end when Empire Mixed Martial Arts brings the two submission experts together at their January 25th Middleweight Grand Prix card early next year. Whether Minowa pulls out another leg lock submission or Horn adds to his nearly 40 choke submission wins, both men will be walking away that night from a battle of legends.

Would it be possible for you to post the Database once you're done making edits to it? I would just like it for personal use because I like what you're doing so far with this Dynasty.

I haven't even had a fight yet lol. Thanks for the compliment though. It's actually part of a full Mod I'm working on and I may be reluctant to release anything before it's all finished. I will consider it though, if all goes well with the dynasty. I've progressively been working on 3 different mods since just before WMMA 2 was released to give you some idea of how fast things are going. About as fast as the fights in this dynasty. I switch between the four as it pleases me and holds my interest. I actually started this dynasty hoping it would focus me on a small portion of fighters for this mod. Your intrigue inspires me to work more. We'll see where I'm at with it once the champions are crowned here in this dynasty. Thanks for the interest and I will let you know. Cruiserweight GP should be up tonight.

Justin McCully, Renaissance Man

http://i1002.photobucket.com/albums/af143/Jipper16/WMMA/Fighter%20Bodies/JustinMcCully.png

A man of many hats, Justin McCully first rose to notability while earning a shot with the Ultimate Fighting Championships. He got his break with the UFC in 2007 after a 10 year off and on again career as a part time mixed martial artist. With training in wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu McCully earned a blackbelt under former UFC competitor, Allan Goes. During this time McCully also trained under UFC champions Tito Ortiz with Team Punishment in California and B.J. Penn in McCully's homeland of Hawaii.

McCully became a top 20 Heavyweight but met mixed results upon arriving in the UFC. McCully went 2-2 in 2 years with the UFC. Other interests slowly drew McCully away from the sport. With multiple appearances on talk shows like Inside MMA, doing UFC commentary as well as spots with ESPN, McCully seemed to be on track to be a MMA color commentator. In a two year absence from MMA, McCully's appearances as an MMA commentator slowly dissipated, as so did his star. A long time Professional Wrestling fan McCully befriended pro wrestler Samoa Joe while training in California with Tito Ortiz and he's long time friends with former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam. In his over two years away from the sport we began to think we'd see McCully in a pro wrestling ring before we'd ever see him return to MMA.

The draw for real competition soon won him over though and McCully returned to MMA action a year ago defeating a 7-14 local fighter at a Nebraska event. In an interview linked below McCully said after that fight that he wasn't sure what to expect with his return to MMA after such a long absence but was happy with the result. McCully grew interested in working his way back to the top of MMA Heavyweights and possibly back to the UFC. With only one additional fight since his MMA return McCully got his wish. No, it wasn't a call up to the UFC but instead a much longer felt desire. With only 2 MMA fights in 3 and a half years, Justin McCully signed to compete in Empire Mixed Martial Art's Cruiserweight Grand Prix. For years Justin McCully has been an advocate for a Cruiserweight division fitting for fighters his size which is, small for the 265 pound Heavyweight limit. The 36 year old McCully will face 14-2 Russian star Shamil Abdurahimov, holder of several Heavyweight championship during his career. No easy task for McCully's third fight back. You can see this fight as well as the other 7 Grand Prix fights and a descent undercard at the end of February in next year's Cruiserweight Grand Prix from the EMMA promotion.

Here's an interview with McCully from earlier this year talking about a variety of topics including that he thinks he can beat Tim Sylvia, wanting to return the UFC and his desire for a weight class for fighters his size.http://mmavalor.com/2012/02/22/justin-mccully-doesnt-think-tim-sylvia-could-beat-him/[/Quote]

My pic pack will be small but I think everyone will enjoy it. I'll post a link here if anyone wants to check it out or you can just find it in the MOD section.
