No time is wasted as the three men brawl in the center of the ring. Blue backs himself into a corner and allows the other two to expend their energy. Seeing an opportunity, he leaps to the top rope and lands a crossbody to both his competitors. Blue is in control early as alternates stomps to Deluxe and Reckless. He tries to pin both but neither man is ready to quit yet. After several minutes of action, Xavier Reckless is knocked from the apron onto the floor by a dropkick by Blue, leaving only two men in the ring. As Blue surveys the aftermath, he turns and steps right into a Deluxe Driver II. Extreme Deluxe climbs to the top rope and nails Blue with the 450 splash and bounces off as he clutches his ribs. Deluxe goes for the cover to become the inaugural King of New York Champion but Reckless, who was playing possum outside the ring, grabs Deluxe by the hair and tights and throws him over the top rope to the outside. Reckless makes the cover on Blue and Stones makes the emphatic three count.</p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Xavier Reckless</span></strong> defeats <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Extreme Deluxe</span></strong> and <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Fearless Blue</span></strong> by pinning Blue to become the first <strong><em>HWA King of New York Champion</em></strong>.</p><p> </p><p> Stones hands over the title to Reckless before attending to Blue. Reckless climbs the turnbuckle to celebrate his victory. Deluxe sneaks up behind him and low blows Reckless. As he falls to the mat, Extreme grabs the championship belt and lays waste to the new champion. He ends the onslaught with a Deluxe Driver II on Reckless onto the title belt.</p></div><p></p>

His name was Daredevil Aero. Or Fearless Blue. Or Super Sonic. Or Amazing Fire Fly. Lee wasn't pleased. He left the other hire up to me. </em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

I don't know what the hell I'm looking for. The roster was stocked when I got here. I brought in personalities. Reckless scouted Amazing Fire Fly.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

I talked with one guy on the phone. He's desperate for work and that resonates with me. He said he'll sign cheap but I really don't think he'll fit in. He doesn't have much training. Maybe he can learn from the others and not get hurt. I think his name was </em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Kelly Taylor</span></strong></em><em>. Not a great male wrestling name...</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

R.M. Stones locks the door behind him, signals to both teams, and rings the bell.</p><p> </p><p> Sonic and Pyro look at one another, and Pyro springs forth to attack Aero. Sonic uses this moment to start ascending the cage. He’s sacrificed his partner so he can escape. Jeb pulls Pyro off Aero and clubs him to the mat. Aero hits the ropes and Jeb allows Aero to springboard off of himself onto Sonic who has scaled the caged wall. Aero wraps himself around Sonic and nails him with a Russian Leg Sweep off the cage wall. As Jebediah watches, Pyro sneaks behind and low blows the big man. As Jebediah falls to his knees, Pyro takes advantage with kicks to the ribs and head. The action stays with Pyro in control until Aero and Sonic regain their feet. With Aero up, the two foes spend their time doubling Aero. Pyro picks Aero up for a piledriver and Sonic seals the deal by jumping off the top rope and making it a spike piledriver. Sonic climbs the turnbuckle once more to finish off Aero, turning his back to Jebediah laying Pyro out with an boot to the face. As Sonic turns around, Jebediah grabs him around the throat. Sonic is seen pleading with the giant.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="34126" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p>“Can you hear what he’s saying Honey?”</p></div><p> </p><p> “I think he said something about Pyromaniac. He spots what he’s looking for and picks Pyromaniac up and moves him to the corner. Jeb sets up in the far corner and runs full steam into Pyro. Once. Twice. Three times. On the fourth hit, Pyro collapses to the ring mat. Everyone in attendance, even R.M. Stones, is too transfixed on Jebediah’s onslaught to notice that Super Sonic has climbed out of the cage and is getting the hell out of dodge. Stones finally sees Sonic and calls for the bell, but that doesn’t end Jebediah’s carnage on Pyromaniac. I won't lie. I love the way Jeb is being used right now. Poor fellow needs to have some limelight.

 

I love Jebediah. I love his look. I love his size. I love his character. I hope to keep him around for a while. Some guys are finally getting enough popularity that I worry someone will try and poach them.

Now Lee, I've only got you on for a couple of questions before we hear a few words from the callers. So, what's it like owning your own promotion?

 

It's an incredible opportunity. We went into this hoping to create a niche with the hardcore community and turn a profit, and so far, we've managed to do both. I'm extremely pleased Barry.

 

Your last show, H*A*M, was your most acclaimed yet. Where do you see the company going from here?

 

Up! Hehe. I really think we're on the rise. It might take a year or two but soon we'll be selling out our shows. I have faith in our product. I have faith in our wrestlers. And I have faith in our fans.

Favorite? I wouldn't say he's my favorite, but I'm really impressed with Amazing Fire Fly. He's picked up the English language quickly and he's just a consummate pro in and out of the ring.

 

Oh come on Lee. That was a two part question. You can't just ignore the second part. These are grown men we're talking about. They can take some constructive criticism.

Amazing Fire Fly and Kamikaze Christian Vars, opponents last week, are facing off with the established team of Super Sonic and Pyromaniac in the opening bout. Super Sonic snuck out of the cage last week as he diverted Jebediah’s attention towards Pyromaniac. Pyromaniac is showing some wear from the assault Jeb unleashed on him inside the steel structure last month.

As the two teams are set to square off, Jebediah and Daredevil Aero make their way from the back and take up two seats at ringside. Sonic and Pyro can’t help but nervously glance back at them constantly.

 

The presence of Jeb and Aero keep the proven team off their game as the youngsters fly around the ring and use their athleticism to steer the match. As the minutes tick by though, the veterans take advantage and seem to be in control of things. Christian Vars lives up to his name with a kamikaze dive that takes himself out and leaves Amazing Fire Fly at the mercy of Sonic and Pyro. With R.M. Stones checking on the condition of the suicidal Vars and Fly about to be defeated, Jebediah steps over the crowd barrier and then into the ring. He reaches for Pyromaniac who sensed Jeb coming and Pyro hightails it out of the ring. Sonic turns around to see the hulking giant behind him. Jeb turns and exits the ring as he goes after Pyromaniac. As Sonic exhales in relief, Fire Fly schoolboys Sonic as Stones rolls back into the ring and makes the three count.

 

Amazing Fire Fly and Kamikaze Christian Vars defeat Super Sonic and Pyromaniac.

 

Sonic bounds to his feet shocked but before he can extract revenge, Fire Fly and Vars are halfway towards the backstage area.

Reckless plays to the crowd as he poses with the King of New York Championship and highfives those lucky enough to shell out six dollars for a ringside seat.

 

Whenever Deluxe was in the ring, Reckless would tag out. If Deluxe came near Reckless on the ring apron, he’d jump down. Finally, Deluxe stepped down from the ring apron and went right after Reckless. Xavier kept his distance and left to the backstage area, where Deluxe followed. In the ring, Trauma was no match for Fearless Blue as he unveiled his Sky Twister Press to the HWA faithful.

Backstage, Super Sonic catches up to Pyromaniac.

 

“What the hell man? Just leaving me like that!”

 

“Eh holmes, just returning the favor, man!” And with that, Pyromaniac says his first words as a member of the Harlem Wrestling Alliance. It’s also his only words as he exits the school and heads for his car.

 

 

Rookie Kelly Taylor is seen in the back, talking to Kali Fornia.

 

“So let me get this straight: you impersonate a porn star. You changed your hair, appearance, and body composition to match her, correct?”

 

“Sheesh. Your point being?”

 

“Out of all the women you could replicate, Susan B. Anthony, Princess Diana, Joan of Arc, you chose Vikki Candi. I…I don’t want to live on this planet anymore.” Taylor shakes his head and walks down the corridor, away from Kali Fornia.

 

“Idiot. Princesses aren’t real…”

 

 

Jebediah, continuing his search for Pyromaniac, spots Kali Fornia talking with Kelly Taylor. Before he can get any closer to ask if they’ve seen the man, Dharma Gregg hops in front of him.

“Jebby, you’re ADORABLE!” squeals Dharma as she traces a finger along Jebediah’s thick beard and skips away.

 

Jebediah, standing there alone, looks like a dog that has gone into another room and forgotten what he went in there for.

Thomas Morgan is already in the ring, waiting for Zachary Inc. Inc. surprises Morgan by coming through the crowd and ambushing him from behind. The initial assault spills out of the ring and stays there for the rest of the match. Morgan is out of his element as he attempts to brawl with the Detroit native. The men fight into the bleachers when Morgan finally gains an upperhand and pushes Inc. into the bleacher railing. Morgan takes charge to tackle his foe but Inc. moves out of the way which sends Morgan careening toward the gym floor from several feet above. As he lands with a thud, Inc. climbs down and egotistically covers Morgan with just his boot as he flexes.

 

Zachary Inc. defeats Thomas Morgan via pinfall.
