Both Ric Flair and TNA Have announced a parting of ways. The company is putting a positive spin on the split, but many insiders are saying the split was less than amicable and that Flair walked out on TNA and left them no choice but to release him from his current contract. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/PWNLogo22_crop.png Monday, April W4 2012 Just one month after the rumours were first put out there, Facebook Inc has announced the takeover of Ohio based, Heartland Wrestling Association. Its unknown what the company plans to do with the HWA at the moment, but the current rumour making the rounds are that they plan to use HWA as a company to produce new material for its new networks. During the press conference Mr Zuckerberg announced that HWA would temporarily suspend all operations until further notice. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/04.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/NewsHWA.png Friday, May W1 2012 Just over a week from the initial take over announcement, Mr Zuckerberg announces that all future decisions to do with Heartland Wrestling Association would now be handled by a 5 person team. The 5 men will share a percentage of the company, estimated to be a 5 way split of 30%, still allowing Mr Zuckerberg a controlling share in the promotion. CEO: Paul Heyman After a long hiatus from running a wrestling promotion, Paul Heyman has been brought in as the Chief Executive Officer and general first point of call for Mr Zuckerberg Vice President, Live Events and Marketing: Ric Flair A huge shock after recently departing TNA, which should create a big buzz in TNA as to what TNA can bring to HWA. Flair will be in charge of promoting the company and booking of the live events and house shows. Vice President, Talent Relations: Terry Taylor After previously working in the same position for TNA, it was the obvious man to bring into the company. Another member who has recently left the company under what’s said to be less than amicable. It will be Taylor’s job to deal with all the hiring, firing and contractual dealings. Vice President, Talent Development: Dutch Mantell With many years in the wrestling business and known as a teacher, Dutch will be handling the development of the younger stars on the roster, while also acting as chief Road agent for the company. Vice President, Creative: Rees Piper An unknown person who was recommended to Mr Zuckerberg by Paul Heyman who was said to have worked with the individual on numerous occasion in the uk, while working for “The Sun” newspaper. Mr Piper will be heading up the creative department who is in charge of storylines for its live shows and PPV’s. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/05.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/06.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/07.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/08.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/09.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/NewsHWA.png Monday, May W3 2012 Less than 2 weeks after the announcement of what’s been ladled as the “Big 5” were announced as the controlling members of the HWA, they hold a press conference outside of the famous Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. With all 5 members present, Paul Heyman is the first to step up. Heyman: In the light of the HWA being on such a large platform with its sisters of Facebook, its only right that the HWA steps up. In a bid to make the promotion a big time company that can compete with the likes of the WWE, TNA and ROH, we have made a few changes. As of today, Heartland Wrestling Alliance is no longer in commission out of Ohio. HWA is moving to Hollywood California. But that’s not all, HWA will also be known as Hollywood Wrestling Association from now on. Ric Flair: Woooooooo!, yeah Woooooooo! The Nature Boy is back. Forget TNA, Forget the second grade promotions. Hollywood Wrestling is going to be the new place to be. Woooooo! Terry Taylor: Thanks Ric, that was uh... Onto further business. As the Vice President of Talent Relations for HWA, it’s my job to sign the greatest and best talent to Hollywood Wrestling. Now I have been putting out calls to all the greatest and best talent out there, but there is only 1 way to get everyone interested, and that’s by having a big star set the president of being the first to sign. So let me introduce to you the first man of the HWA and one of the biggest stars of recent years... BATISTA! Batista walks to the podium with the “Big 5” all standing and clapping. Batista: Thanks for the warm welcome guys and it’s great to see you again Ric. Now some of you may be wondering why I put pen to paper, why I would sign and put my name to an untested brand. There’s a simple answer. TNA is just a second rate promotion going nowhere fast, as for the WWE, if it got any more PG... Vince would have John Cena recite his A.B.C’s at the start of every show. Wrestling’s edgy, different, ass kickingly good, and not a headlock short of high end “Wrestling”. So WWE... TNA... Batista raises both his arms with his thumbs up, before pointing them down, signalling the downfall of both companies. Paul Heyman: In just over 3 Months, The HWA Will come to you live on PPV from here at the Staples Center in our very first PPV. The show will be called “The Takeover”, A 4 Hour wrestling extravaganza where every match will be to crown a champion. Sunday August w3 will be a night to remember. Just find us on Facebook TeeVee for a 4hour event at only $1.99 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/10.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/11.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/12.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/NewsTNA.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/13.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/14.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/15.jpg Wednesday, May W3 2012 After what’s said to be a frustration with TNA’s creative department, Alex Shelley has parted ways with TNA after his contract ended just a few days ago. Just moment after the News broke, Chris Sabin was also granted his release from TNA after he expressed his displeasure at the management of TNA. Both men are set to work the next week of house shows for TNA out of good will, but are currently both firmly removed from TNA.

Tonights signee’s are two of the Indys greatest tag teams. Hollywood Wrestling is said to be pleased to have both the Jacksons (Nick and Matt) on board along with the Briscoe Brothers (Jay and Mark). Both teams are expected to stay together to form the tag team division for the company. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/77.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/78.jpg Thursday, July W4 2012 After his recent tour of Ring Ka King with TNA in India, Shawn Daivari has signed a multiyear deal with Hollywood Wrestling. Daivari’s position on the roster is not yet known, but his skills will surely be welcomed. The next Signee of the day is former WWE Tag Team Champion Sylvan Grenier. Sylvan is expected to work the midcards of HWA, however with one day of negotiations left, its not a 100% cert. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/79.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/80.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/81.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/82.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/83.jpg Friday, July W4 2012 The Last day of signings has arrived and it comes with two big signings. First up is the son of the British Bulldog, former WWE Tag Team Champion, David Hart Smith. After time away in Japan, Smith is expected to return to the USA with his sights set on the main event. The last signing of the entire promotion is the former TNA Main Eventer, a man who was the most underrated in TNA History, the Blueprint Matt Morgan. Matt Morgan is said to have been the main focus of Terry Taylors attention after hearing his departure from TNA. Although the big man is expected to make the main event, many are wondering if they will give him the ball to roll with just yet. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/84.jpg (Check the Next Post for the full Listings) http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/NewsHWA.png August W1 2012 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/85.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/86.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/87.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/88.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/89.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/90.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/91.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Facebook%20Posts/The%20Opening/92.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/PWNLogo22_crop.png Thursday, August W1 2012 ROH Sign its newest member Christopher Daniels to a PPA Contract TNA Signs Low Ki to a Written Contract Monday, August W2 2012 ROH Signs Gail Kim to a PPA Contract TNA Sign Amy “Lita” Dumas to a Written Contract Tuesday, August W2 2012 TNA Signs both Brianna Garcia and Carlos Colón to Written Contracts Thursday, August W2 2012 TNA Sign Jay Lethal to a Written Contact Friday, August W2 2012 ROH Signs Sonjay Dutt to a PPA Contract Monday, August W3 2012 ROH Signs Mickie James to a PPA Contract Sunday, August W3 2012 TNA Signs Jimmy Jacobs to a Written Contract

After months of teasing, speculation and hype, we are finally here. Tonight’s going to be an action packed night and we are not going to waste a second. Coming up right now is the first of the World Championship Tournament matches. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/BatistavsNash.jpg Quarter Final Batista vs Kevin Nash With a red hot crowd, the music of Batista hits and sets the crowd alight. The Animal is back and he makes his way to the ring in his unique way. Kevin Nash makes his way to the ring amidst a chorus of booing. Batista gets the first blows of the match, but neither man is dominant over the other. The two big powerhouses battle it out hard and give the crowd a great match, but it’s the Animal who seals the fate of the match when he manages a sitout powerbomb on the 7’0 monster. Batista is the first man to advance to the Semi’s tonight. Winner: Batista Time: 11:37 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_bminus.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Workers/PaulHeyman.jpg The music of the CEO Hits, as Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring. Paul Heyman: Welcome everyone to Hollywood Wrestling. Just a few months ago this was all just a pipe dream in the minds of Mr Zuckerberg and myself. It wasn’t until the Launch of the Facebook TV and PPV networks that it all became a reality. Tonight we plan to set a new standard in “Wrestling”. The social networks might rule the world, but we at Hollywood Wrestling are the Social Wrestling Company that’s going to rule the world. The Company’s both up north and that one down south are going to get shaken to their core in the coming months as we take over your TV. We are the first real competition to Monday Night Raw since the downfall of WCW. Tonight is a 4 hour showcase of all the talent we have to offer, forget the others for now, sit back, relax and enjoy the fastest growing wrestling company in history. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/HallvsLashley.jpg Quarter Final Scott Hall vs Bobby Lashley Scott Hall is the first down the ramp for this match, he is greeted with a mixed reaction but a larger portion of the crowd is booing. As Lashley makes his way to the ring he is met with quite a lot of support. Both men get straight into the match, but show signs of ring rust due to a time away from the ring. A few moves are botched but the crowd doesn’t seem to care so much as both men empty their tanks during the match. In the closing moments it looks as if Hall is going to walk away with the victory, but Lashley manages to slip out of the Outsiders Edge and bounce off the ropes to hit a Spear for the cover. Winner: Bobby Lashley Time: 13:20 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_c.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/TheTakeoverHardcore.jpg HWA Hardcore Championship Guido vs Axl Rotten vs 7even Sin vs Sami Callihan vs Balls Mahoney This match brings back some real hardcore wrestling to TV. The match barely has its first entrance when Balls Mahoney gets blindsided from behind by 7even Sin. Everyone then comes out and starts brawling on the ramp, using anything they can find to hand. Wits weapons everywhere and the Hardcore Championship on the line, there seems no stopping anyone in this match. It’s not until everyone is beaten to within an inch of consciousness that Sin is able to hit his finisher and cover Rotten to pick up the victory. Winner: 7even Sin Time: 12:56 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_d.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/FlairvsMorgan.jpg Quarter Final Ric Flair vs Matt Morgan The entrance of Ric Flair has by far the biggest reaction of the night. The nature boy struts his way to the ring with the sold out capacity crowd on their feet. Matt Morgan gets a ton of heat from the live crowd, but manages to get a few hardcore fans on the front row to cheer him. The match opens with Flair using his patented “woo” Chops to the chest of Morgan. The match is pretty level throughout, but with every move Morgan gets in, the crowd creates huge heat. Just as Morgan starts to dictate the pace of the match, Flair pokes him in the eyes and kicks him in the knee. When dropping to his knees, Flair hits a DDT and starts strutting, he then grabs Morgan’s legs and locks in the Figure 4 Leglock. After a few seconds of squirming, he taps out to the hold. Winner: Ric Flair Time: 13:29 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_cplus.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/RavenvsHarrison.jpg Quarter Final Raven vs John Harrison First to the ring is the former ECW and TNA Champion Raven who is greeted by a not so warm welcome from the crowd. As Harrison’s music hits, the crowd gives the second biggest pop of the night. Both put on a great match that sells a great story throughout of Raven trying to outsmart everything that Harrison puts his way. Although Raven has the better game plan, its Harrison who hits the Starship Pain to pick up the victory and gets the last place in the Semi Finals. Winner: John Harrison Time: 11:25 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_b.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/TheTakeoverHeritage.jpg HWA Heritage Championship Sean Waltman vs Psicosis With the second title of the night being up for grabs, it’s the heel Sean Waltman vs the face Psicosis. Both men receive a pretty equal response from the live crowd who are still pumped up after the last match. Waltman dictates most of the match and gives very little room for error. Psicosis gives as good as he gets but after both Scott Hall and Kevin Nash show up on the main stage and cause a Distraction, Sean Waltman picks up the victory after an X-Factor. Winner: Sean Waltman Time: 16:13 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_cminus.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/TheTakeoverCruiser.jpg 10-Man Gauntlet HWA Cruiserweight Jimmy Rave vs Tony Mamaluke vs Sheik Raheem Bashir vs Jack Evans vs Chris Cage vs Benjamin Pac vs Teddy Hart vs Adam Cole vs Juventud Guerrera vs Zack Sabre The first two entrants are Jimmy Rave and Tony Mamaluke. Jimmy Rave manages to hit a brainbuster on Mamaluke at the 5:02 mark to win the match and advance. Next down is Adam Cole who defeats Jimmy Rave at the 7:40 mark. The next man to answer the challenge is Chris Cage who lasts barely a minute before being defeated by Cole at 8:51. Teddy Hart is the next challenger in the Gauntlet and manages to lock in the famous family Sharpshooter to gain the victory at 11:35. The next man is a multi time former Cruiserweight champion Juventud Guerrera, who manages to roll Teddy up for the 3 count at 15:09. Juvi’s next challenge is the former partner of Teddy, Jack Evans. Although lasting a few minutes with Juvi, Evans falls victim to a modified Piledriver at 18:01. Onto his third match and he faces the man who gravity forgot, Pac. A worn out Juvi puts up a great fight but falls foul of Pac’s speed at the 23:11 mark. Next up is a friend and fellow countryman Zack Sabre. Both men put on a fast paced match and have the crowd on their feet at some of the reversals, but in the end Pac hits a huge top rope 630 splash for the win at 26:40. Now Sheik Raheem Bashir’s music hits and it’s the final showdown, either Benjamin Pac or Raheem Bashir will be the new Cruiserweight Champion. In a match that sees Pac once again use his speed, its Bashir who gains the upper hand after avoiding one of Pac’s high flying moves. Gaining the momentum from the missed attack, Bashir hits a modified double arm DDT for the victory. Winner: Sheik Raheem Bashir Time: 30:03 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_dplus.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/BatistavsLashley.jpg Semi Final Batista vs Bobby Lashley In the first of the Semi Finals tonight we have the Two big Muscle men. Both men get a good reaction from the crowd, who is pumped up for the match. Batista kicks off the match with the fans and the match on his side, but as things go on his offence starts to fall apart. After Lashley starts fighting back we see Batista start to resort to sneaky illegal tactics in frustration of not winning so easily. After hitting Lashley with 2 Batista bombs and failing to get the cover, he takes Lashley outside the ring and begins to ram him into the barricade. With the rage building, Batista fails to answer the 10 count and both men are counted out, leaving the match undecided as a Draw Winner: Double DQ Time: 18:56 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_c.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png Schiavone: No Winner? What happens with tonight’s Championship match? McGuinness: The match was a Draw, you either restart which would be unfair as the match ended under the rules set. Schiavone: But does that mean we won’t see a Champion Crowned Tonight? http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Workers/PaulHeyman.jpg Just as the crowd and the Announcers start to wonder what will happen with tonights Championship match, Paul Heyman appears on the top of the ramp. Heyman: Well I wasn’t expecting that, but they say the world of wrestling can be unpredictable. However it leaves the question of whats going to happen with the Main Event and the World Championship. The match between Ric Flair and John Harrison will now be the crowning match. Both men have earned the right to be called champion and I won’t take that away from them. However to stop this happening again, the match will be fought under the rule of, fight until there is a clear and sole winner. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/TheTakeoverTagTeam.jpg HWA Tag Team Championships Londrick vs Briscoe Brothers vs Motor City Machineguns vs The Jacksons The first Tag Team match of Hollywood Wrestling kicks off with four of the greatest young tag teams in wrestling today. Reuniting after a few years apart is the team of London and Kendrick. The match kicks off with Nick Jackson and Paul London in the ring. Throughout the match the crowd is not left with very little down time as all the teams put on a spectacle, outshining the competitions tag team divisions. Its the red hot Machineguns who manage to sail to victory as Shelley hits Matt Jackson with a super kick right under the chin for the victory. Winner: Motor City Machineguns Time: 15:55 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_bminus.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Workers/LennyLeonard.jpghttp://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Workers/RicFlair.jpg Lenny: Hello and thank you for joining me at this time. With what went down earlier tonight, you must be feeling relived to have only 1 more match between you and the World Championship. Flair: I’d love to have made the Main Event against my man Batista but in the end I guess you could say things worked out for the better. Lenny: With this being a chance to become a 17 time World Champion and stretch the record even further, do you think you have what it takes to be “the man” one more time. Flair: I’ll always be the man, I’m the “wooooo” Man of this “wooooo” business. I maybe going a little grey and finding Betty White a little hot, but the Naitch still has gas in the trunk! http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/TheTakeoverWomens.jpg HWA Women’s Championship Kristin Hunter vs Maryse vs Moretti White vs Maria vs Taylor Star vs Melina Representing the revamped worldwide women’s division is 6 of the world’s greatest Diva’s from then and now. With elimination rules it’s still all for one in the match. In the early going’s the relatively unknown Hunter manages to almost dominate the other women. This leads to Maria and White getting eliminated by Kristin Hunter. Seeing the destruction Hunter is causing, Maryse reluctantly teams up with Taylor and Melina to eliminate Hunter. Immediately after her elimination, Maryse rolls up Taylor and eliminates her, leaving Melina. Maryse and Melina continue to battle on for the title as both women are hungry for the gold. After a few Minutes, Melina manages to catch Maryse with a pretty touch kick and then lands the flip powerbomb to get the victory and become Women’s Champion Winner: Melina Time: 14:29 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_d.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Workers/LennyLeonard.jpghttp://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Workers/JohnHennigan.jpg Lenny: So you have your chance at your first World Championship, but its against a record setting 16 time World Champion. Is now your time or do you think you will have to bow to experience. Harrison: It’s no point in declaring myself as champion just yet as it is the 16 time World Champion. But right now I'm in the best shape of my life. After being held back for so long, not given the opportunities, I'm going out there to perform my a** off. Lenny: Your girlfriend Melina just won the Women’s Championship, do you think you think tonight you will leave as the golden couple. Harrison: I can’t wait to congratulate her, she was the better women out there. I hope after tonight we are the Golden couple of Wrestling, but I'm going to keep my mind focused on winning and not getting too caught up in the hype. Lenny: One last question, you said about being held back. Do you feel tonight we have seen the real John? Harrison: No question about it, Tonight and forever on in Hollywood Wrestling, you will see the real John! http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/TheTakeoverTV.jpg HWA Television Championship Davey Richards vs Sylvan vs Harry Smith vs Roderick Strong This match has been tipped by the long-time fans as the one to watch. With 3 of the Indy’s best wrestler and a former multi time WWE Tag Team Champion. The match kicks off with some of the tightest wrestling of the evening, Early on we see Richards and Strong lock horns and put on a great show. Smith plays a great big man who clears the ring and manages to beat down on all the wrestlers. It’s Sylvan who provides the biggest shock for fans as he wrestles his heart out and although playing a heel, he gets a small outburst of fans in the arena. With the whole match teetering to all the men involved, its not until right at the end that Richards manages to hit a powerful kick to Sylvan followed by a Cloverleaf to get the victory and the Title. Winner: Davey Richards Time: 21:53 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_b.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/Divider.png - http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Shows/PPVs/2012%20The%20Takeover/FlairvsHarrison.jpg HWA World Championship Ric Flair vs John Harrison After an eventful night, the show comes to an end with its biggest match of the night. With the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, the crowd is red hot and begins chanting before the first punch has been thrown. At ringside both Reid and David are sat beside the announce table to watch the match, along with Melina on the other side of the table. Ric Flair takes the early lead by slowing down the pace of the match and dictating the flow. Through brief moments Harrison gains some momentum but gets taken down by Flair. It’s not until the match passes the 18 minute mark that Harrison starts to take full control of the match. Flair begins to show signs of fatige and begins to fall victim of Harrison’s speed and agility. In a brief moment Flair distracts the referee and shoves his boot right between the legs of Harrison. The dirtiest player in the game returns with a knee drop and locks in the Figure 4, Harrison makes it to the ropes but Flair drags him back to the centre of the ring and applies it again. This time Harrison has no option to tap, leaving Ric Flair to claim his record setting 17th World Championship Winner: Ric Flair Time: 25:56 http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_a.jpg -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Show Rating: http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/1TNANoLimitations/Ratings/grade_b.jpg -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i142/theonegreatgunn/HWA/Graphics/PredictionPodiumBar.jpg (Due to the Batista vs Lashley match a Draw, nobody gets penalised for it) Tweek It: 9/11 Jingo: 3/11 Please rate this PPV so that i can give it a "Buy Rate" What would you rate the PPV, HWA The Takeover

Togg
Good show man. Really like the concept. Was good to see Flair win the title. Thanks :-) I guess the show was the true start of the diary and it's "storylines". Plus as a new company it seemed only right to have Flair on the books as first champion :-). Thanks to everyone who voted too :-), if you didn't read my TNA:No Limitations diary, then you might not know. I use a voting system mixed with a complex number system that gets a unique "buy rate" depending on ppv size, promotion size and how many votes. So each vote totally counts, as 1 vote could change the outcome drastically. Thanks and hope you all enjoy :-)
