Dane Sanders vs The New York Doll

“I had butterflies for this, my first match. I tried to remember what Gino had taught me, to pick a limb and work on it. Like most things Gino taught me, it was wrong. NYD beat me pillar to post with clubbing blows and clotheslines. My attempts to weaken his arms were brushed off.

After NYD hit me with two splashes and a big legdrop, I decided to change strategy. A series of wild punches, a suplex and a single leg grapevine and I was back in business! From there, I thought it was a very even match. B*****d kicked out of a Pancake Facebuster at one point, coulda sworn that was it. Softened him up though - I escaped a running bulldog, hit another suplex and nearly ripped his leg off with a Heel Hook Grapevine. While the ref checked on NYD, I set up a Fisherman Suplex for my first win. I took home $800 and a black eye, not too shabby.”

Winner – Dane Sanders @ 17:30 (Fisherman’s Suplex) Att 331

“My second ever opponent was a fool with a backward baseball cap. Idiot I am, I made him look good, taking running dropkicks as if I was on commission. Finally I had enough, grabbed the idiot and beat him…hard. I was on a high until he kicked out of the Pancake Facebuster.

This stunned me enough for ‘Pat’ to hit a Twisting Face Crusher that I barely kicked out of. After that we traded counters until I decided I wasn’t losing to a man wearing a backward baseball cap and smashed him with a second Pancake Facecrusher. 2-0!”

Winner – Dane Sanders @ 11.30 (Pancake Facebuster) Att 3,400

“Surely this guy isn’t a wrestler? That was my big mistake tonight, underestimating Flash Savage. Never got a rhythm going, kept trying for big moves. Flash read me like a book. The end was pretty quick; I missed a knee drop, Flash hit me with a seated kick while I was recovering, then smashed me with a Glitterly Warlock Knee, or whatever that thing’s called.”

Winner – Flash Savage @ 14:50 (Glittering Magician Knee) Att 70

“Sleazy old Lex Appeal…he was in control at first, nearly gave me a concussion with a Head and Arm Suplex. I recovered though, broke a Capture Suplex and dodged a top rope cross body – time to break out the body scissors, take away his gas! Traded counters after that, until Lexy tried the Capture Suplex/top rope crossbody combo again. I dodged em both(again!) and caught him in a Heel Hook Grapevine! Lexy got out, but it just gave me a chance to set up the Fisherman’s Suplex. Victory No.3!"

Winner – Dane Sanders @ 11.00 (Fisherman Suplex)Att 3,347 South East

Dane Sanders vs Steve Flash (2/3 falls)

http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/WS%202%20RTG/Random_Male14.jpg V http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/WS%202%20RTG/SteveFlash.jpg

“What!?! I knew I was in trouble here – Flash is one of the best of all time while I was wrestling my fifth ever match. The match follows a simple pattern - I try a move, Flash goes one better. Flash nearly gets the first fall with a top rope cross body. Luckily, he can’t follow up with his Reverse Snap DDT as I counter it just in time, every time. Then I shock myself by taking the first fall. Flash attempts a superplex, but I manage to land on top of him. I can see he’s winded and apply the Heel Hook Grapevine. Flash escapes quickly, but I know what to do next – Fisherman’s Suplex! First fall to me!"

1st Fall – Dane Sanders @17.10 (Fisherman’s Suplex)

"After that fall, I’m more confident. Then Flash finally hits that damn Reverse Snap DDT – 1 , 2 2 and a half! I try the Heel Hook Grapevine again, to see if I can set up another Fisherman’s Suplex, however Flash slugs me before I can suplex him. He attempts a top rope cross body, but I’ve become an expert at dodging them and simply drop out of the way. I hook in another Heel Hook Grapevine to try and slow Flash down and am stunned to see him tap!"

2nd Fall – Dane Sanders @27.10 (Heel Hook Grapevine) Att 213 Tri State

MAW No Law or Order Saturday Week 3 July 2006

Dane Sanders vs Ricky Douglas

"A long, long match. I hammer Douglas pillar to post in this one, repeatedly breaking his various suplexes. However I can’t put him away – he kicks out of a Pancake Facebuster at 2 and a half and seems to grow in confidence as the match goes on. Eventually though, Douglas falls to the ‘Sanders Special’ – a Heel Hook Grapevine, then a Fisherman’s Suplex to end it."

Winner – Dane Sanders @ 27:50 (Fisherman’s Suplex) Att 17 Great Lakes

Dane Sanders vs Flash Savage

"I was still sore from losing to this jackass from a few months ago. I could see the cocky look on his face – he knew he had gotten to me. Savage dictated the pace initially with his running dropkicks and fancy pants splashes until I caught him with a DDT. That was a temporary relief though – little p***k was all over me after that. Luckily for me, I intercepted him climbing the turnbuckles and whaled on him, finally trapping him in a Heel Hook Grapevine.

Savage got out, but it clearly hurt him. His movement was really labored, which meant he telegraphed his Glittery Magician Knee (or whatever it’s called). I dodged it, Pancake Facebuster! 1 -2 – no! Fisherman Suplex! 1 – 2 – 2.99! Savage was wobbling all around the ring, knocked out but standing. I took advantage - played possum, then moved out of the way of the handspring elbow and went to work. I bent him in half with a Boston Crab, then slapped on the Heel Hook Grapevine again for the win! Revenge!"

Winner – Dane Sanders @ 14:30 (Heel Hook Submission) Att 48 Mid Atlantic

Nevada Nuclear vs Dane Sanders

"Talk about a hard night’s work…I got pounded from the bell. The turning point was when I kicked out of the Mushroom Cloud (Reverse Russian Legsweep) on 2 and a half; this confused the big man and his offense got sloppy. Eventually, Nevada missed a big splash, which allowed me to apply the Heel Hook Grapevine. Nevada escaped…into a Pancake Facebuster! 1 -2 -3, victory is mine!"

Winner – Dane Sanders @ 12:10 (Pancake Facebuster) Att 224 Tri State

Giant Redwood vs Dane Sanders

"I wasn’t sure I could beat a man as big as Redwood, especially not after the hammering I got from Nevada Nuclear last night. I decided to go for broke and go for his famously bad knees with kicks, which staggered the b*****d until he connected with a running clothesline. Redwood couldn't keep the momentum going though – I managed to quickly go back to the knee kicks, mixed in with some knee lifts. I tried to vary my attack with a series of arm wringer smashes, spread the pain.

He was …just too big to keep down though. I lost control of the match after a poor attempt at a Boston Crab, taking a powerbomb and an over shoulder backbreaker as a punishment for my bad technique. I managed to squeeze out of the backbreaker hold, but somehow failed to notice a 400lbs+ man charge at me in time to avoid a Running Big Boot. Redwood’s your winner."

Winner – Giant Redwood @10:10 (Running Big Boot) Att 3,235 South East

"Rushmore is huge, but every time he goes for a ground attack he misses - a mistake I take full advantage of. I work on his knees throughout the match, looking to set up the Heel Hook Grapevine as often as possible. After three attempts, I force Rushmore to submit."

Winner – Dane Sanders @9:50 (Heel Hook Grapevine) Att 3,590 South East

MAW Torch of War Wednesday Week 3 September 2006

"If I thought Rushmore was huge….I’m unable to use many moves on Titan due to his size, so I end up brawling with him. Unsuccessfully. I caught on quickly and went back to working the knees, as I did against Rushmore. Eventually I’m able to hit a DDT and hook in the winning Heel Hook Leg Grapevine."

Winner – Dane Sanders @16:30 (Heel Hook Leg Grapevine) Att 40 Mid Atlantic

Dane Sanders vs Sammy The Shark (2/3 falls)

http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/WS%202%20RTG/Random_Male14.jpg V http://i1062.photobucket.com/albums/t495/Occasional_Z/WS%202%20RTG/SammyTheShark.jpg

"I liked my chances here – Sammy was tough, but not on the level of Steve Flash. I took him down straight away and stretched him with all the holds Gino had taught me. Sammy fought back to his feet only for me to dodge a dropkick and hit the Fisherman’s Suplex. Sammy surprised me by kicking out on 2 and a half, but a second Fisherman’s suplex kept him down for 3."

1st Fall – Dane Sanders @6.00 (Fisherman’s Suplex)

"Sammy found some inner strength or something after the first fall – I got pushed around, with Sammy hitting his offense and blocking mine. However I broke up his finish, the Stunning Face Crusher, then hit two more Fisherman’s Suplexes to take the second fall."

2nd Fall – Dane Sanders @13:30 (Fisherman’s Suplex) Att 193 Tri State
