for my first promotion, I'll be playing as SWF.

When I looked at the avatars, they seemed similar to the famed Thunderverse. They look AWESOME in those renders...

I chose Jack Avatar, mainly because he'd fit PERFECTLY. We had default talents, and everything EXCEPT the Dirt Sheet option was turned on

So next, we chose the promotiom. Here's a short biography of the SWF...

The Supreme Wrestling Federation are the most famous wrestling promotion in the world, and have been the dominant force in American wrestling for well over a quarter of a century.

Created by the ruthless and controversial Richard Eisen, he used his concept of "sports entertainment" to almost single-handedly destroy the territorial system that had existing in America for many years and create the most successful promotion that had ever existed.

In recent years they have been dogged by persistent rivals Total Championship Wrestling and Sam Strong's fast-rising USPW, but have managed to remain the #1 promotion in the USA....for now.

Let's take a look at the roster...

NEW SIGNINGS: Des Davids, Huey Cannonball, Jefferson Stardust, James Prudence, Marshall Dillion

OTHER NOTES: Marat Khoklov can only work at PPVs. S***!

PRODUCT:

KEY: Mainstream

Heavy: Traditional, Cult, Risque

Medium: Comedy

TITLES:

North American: Angry Gilmore

World Heavyweight: Steve Frehley

Tag Team: Des Davids and American Machine (The All Americans)

SWF is a good beginning product. First time players of the TEW series should play this while reading the help file. :)

After checking these out, I auto pushed everyone. Avatar's an Enhancement Talent.

On SWF Supreme TV, I took a page out of the help file, and made a 30 Minute Ironman match between Jack Bruce and Rich Money as the main event. Jack Avatar debuted on this show with a handicap match. I used the Assistant Booker a few times as well.

Let's start.

In a bout that had solid in-ring action but non-existent crowd heat, Rogue defeated Jack Avatar and Marshall Dillon in a Handicap match in 6:54 when Rogue defeated Jack Avatar by pinfall with a Crashing On. RATING: D+

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, Enforcer Roberts defeated Captain Atomic in 8:28 by submission with a R.C.T.. RATING: C+

Jack Bruce had an interview hyping his upcoming singles match with Rich Money. RATING: B+

In a match that had some good action but not much in the way of heat, The Pain Alliance defeated The All-Americans in 7:38 when Big Smack Scott defeated American Machine by pinfall while using the ropes for leverage. RATING: C+

Gilmore and Sexy have an interview, in which they go off on a rant about how much they hate Eric Eisen and DuBois. RATING: B- (both improvised)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Angry Gilmore and Joe Sexy drew with Eric Eisen and Marc DuBois in 9:39 following a double count out. RATING: C- (Angry and Sexy have no chemistry as partners)

In a match that had excellent in-ring action and great heat from the audience, Jack Bruce defeated Rich Money in a 30 Minute Iron Man match in 30:00 by three falls to two. RATING: C+

Jack Bruce is celebrating his victory in the ring. Remo runs in and attacks, beating Bruce down into the mat. RATING: B+

FINAL RATING: C

Next day, I got an incident concerning Marc Dubois. He was identified as a soft drug user. I chose to fine him, and he storms out. Luckily, we didn't have to continue beyond here. :p

Anyway, next up is TCW. :D

<p>Next up is TCW.</p><p> </p><p> I'll go with the same user, talents and preferences as SWF.</p><p> </p><p> This time, I went with TCW. Here's the promotion bio:</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="34848" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Founded in 1996, Total Championship Wrestling (then known as HGC) was originally intended as an attempt to take on American's most dominant promotion, the SWF, in a head-to-head war by closely mimmicking their patented "sports entertainment" style and using big names like the legendary Sam Strong to draw in viewers. Although the company did manage to establish itself as a thorn in the SWF's side, it never really looked like taking over as the undisputed number one promotion.<p> </p><p> In late 2004 the ownership of the company passed to a group of investors led by legendary wrestler Tommy Cornell; realising that fighting SWF at their own game was doomed to failure, he began the process of rebuilding TCW as a more traditional wrestling promotion, putting more emphasis on quality wrestling and athletic ability, in essence creating an "anti-SWF" with which to fight them.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> First thing I did was autopush everyone. Just like last time, I got an Enhancement Talent Push.</p><p> </p><p> The roster here is more balanced in terms of contract clauses. <p>Looks like it's quite hard to get B grades or better this time around. </p><p> </p><p>

...and Khoklov can only do PPVs. Yay! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Didn't know DuBois is one of those guys whose favorite number is 420. Guess that means the SWF has at least two workers with potential to strike out due to drug use...</p><p> </p><p>

That said, nice test diary! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
