WOLF Spring Savagery March 2014 report

WOLF Spring Savagery 2014

Att: 236

Northern Lights defeats Celtic Lads E+

The Celtic Lads may have the physiques but Northern Lights have a great rapport with their manager Minh the merciless and she distracted referee "Uncle" Ray Worrall at just the right time. A lights out suplex by Vicious on Welsh and another victory for the lights.

Angle: Florence, Aurora and Emma do a movie Parody of Harry Met Sally D

Walter Morgan defeats Rodito Kid E+

A rather bland match where star technician Morgan gives the kid a clinic in mat wrestling skills. Fortunately the ex-ROF fans appreciate Morgan's sublime technique.

Beskov defeats Buzzard to retain the Young Wolf title E+

A better effort from Buzzard but Beskov just too tough for the jobber

Razor Valentine defeats Curtis Jenkins E+

CJ is in danger of becoming a jobber to the main eventers, Razor continues his streak as he becomes one of WOLFs credible faces.

Angle: Emma shoots T shirts C-

Billy Robinson defeats Suicide Agent, Keith Adams and Nigel Svensson to retain WOLF title D

Adams was livid after this match. After 15 minutes of roughly equal performance from all the wrestlers. Svensson knocks Scouser Robinson out but before Ref Worrall could begin his count Suicide Agent hits Nigel with a brutal low blow. Uncle Roy missed the blow but his count was certainly quick enough.

Adams and Suicide traded moves before Adams got the pin on the agent. However the scouse git had been playing possum, he sprung up and ambushed Admas with a faceplant followed by a pin.

Once again Robinson retains his title...

Overall: D

(off screen: Mike Peterson and Uncle Roy Worrall form a friendship]

WOLF March Madness 2014 report

WOLF March Madness 2014

Att: 269

Angle: Mel Florence introduces WOLF’s newest signing…. British Samurai! D

The cries of “Ring of Fire forever” echo round the building as Mister ROF joins the WOLF Roster. He doesn’t say much, only “Bring out my first victim!”

Samurai defeats Rodito Kid E [Great Chemistry!]

Even allowing for his evident ring rust, Samurai’s ability to put together a story in the ring is still there, and he allows the kid enough offense to make it an interesting debut. After getting the pin, he offers to help the kid up before blatantly clotheslining him. The “Big Boss Man” feud between Samurai and Rodito is born!

Elimination Agents defeat Daljit and Buzzard E

Easy win for the agents. Enough said.

Fighting Irish (Valentine and Walsh) defeats Party Animals E+

This was exactly what young Walsh needed. An experienced partner in Razor Valentine who worked over the fading talent that is Trance and Walsh was able to get his first pin in WOLF.

Nigel Svensson defeats Beskov in a tables match D(!)

These tough young Europeans clearly had a great time in this match. Indeed at one point the two of them smiled at each other after exchanging brutal right hands on each other. Nigel outlasted the young Russian but there was not a lot in it.

Angle: Aurora wins Bikini contest C-

Sharp & Heath defeats Northern Lights to retain tag titles D-

A surprisingly good tag match considering these are not the best tag teams in the company. A routine defence but a good one.

Angle: Emma shoots T shirts C

Main Event: Billy Robinson defeats Walter Morgan to win ladder match and retain WOLF champion D-

Walter put on his usual technical clinic but you could sense his reticence to climb the ladder. The scouse git had no such reservations and after hitting the chivalrous Morgan with a brutal low blow he clambered up the ladder to get the belt.

Overall: D

Backstage at end of March 2014

Emma and Rodito meet in a Birmingham hotel. Rodito is surprised to see British Samurai walk in with the boss.

Emma begins with “Kid, I brought Samurai along to join this management meeting because he is the locker room leader. Hell, half the roster have been calling him boss for years! Plus, he dislikes Nova almost as much as you do….”

Rodito “Fair enough boss. We hired Samurai as an Icon so I expect he does not want too many losses.”

Samurai just gives him a half-nod of assent.

The kid continues “So given our chemistry why not start a storyline between the two of us?”

Samurai looks perplexed “Why? We never bothered with those at ROF”

Emma smoothly interjected “You know we have a slightly more mainstream product than your old company. This sounds interesting. What have you got planned Kid?”

Rodito “I call it Big Boss Man. You keep telling me how to run things, I tell you where to go and I keep trying in vain to beat you.”

Emma looks excited “I like it! Samurai gets lots of victories and ringtime and the kid gets in ring training from one of Europe’s best in-ring performers”

She continues “What else?”

Samurai speaks “Razor has adopted Riddick Jordan as his protégé. I am not sure about Riddick’s potential but that has got to help”

Rodito nods “TEW.com has our backstage atmosphere rated at 79% now. That is not bad at all for a small company. Our morale is pretty good, the only minor concern is some whinging from Buzzard

Emma scoffs “If Buzzard so much as looks funny at me I will fire the useless jobber! OK gentlemen, good meeting”

Samurai leaves first, but as Rodito makes to depart Emma pulls him back “Hey kid, listen carefully. Learn all you can from the Samurai but don’t let him recreate ROF. Bear in mind ROF was a great little company but in the end ROF lost!”

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:18px;">WOLF roll the bones 2014</span></span></strong></p><p>

Att: 185</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Beskov defeats Rodito Kid to retain the the young WOLF title E+</span></strong></p><p>

Viktor has the edge in experience and performance skills and that proved the difference. As the kid tired the Russian bear wore him down with repeated strikes and pin attempts, eventually Rodito was just too late kicking out.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Angle: Robinson and Aurora caught in compromising position D-</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Razor Valentine defeats Alton Vicious D [Great Chemistry!]</span></strong></p><p>

A great match considering Vicious’s inexperience. The Northern razor feud is born between Razor Valentine and Minhs men. If these things keep happening Minhs men could become more than heel cannon fodder.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Angle: Aurora wins Bikini contest C-</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Curtis Jenkins defeats Bali Daljit E-</span></strong></p><p>

The black cowboy defeats the uber jobber but he looks the least happy of the two. Jenkins just cannot get any momentum going and he needs to get involved in much better matches.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Angle: Florence asks out Samurai, accepted D-</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Elimination Agents defeats Sharp & Heath to become WOLF tag champions D</span></strong></p><p>

The best two tag teams in the company produce the best tag match yet seen. Sharp and Heath are a decent enough pair but when the agents turned it into a brawl the result was never seriously in doubt.</p><p> </p><p>

<em><span style="font-size:12px;">Angle: Emma shoots T-shirts C</span></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Main Event: Keith Adams defeats Billy Robinson and British Samurai in an elimination match to become WOLF champion D</span></strong></p><p>

For most of this match Samurai put on a clinic in how to organise a match with a lovely blend of moves. Robinson and Samurai effectively teamed up and dismantled Adams. However when the copper was visibly stunned Robinson turned on Samurai and laid him out with what suspiciously like brass knuckles. Once again Uncle Roy Worrall seemed distracted at the key time.</p><p> </p><p>

Down to two now, the scouse git moved in for the kill. A missile drop kick and knee from the second rope meant Adams was defenceless. The showboating Robinson elected to go for a moonsault finish but what’s this? Samurai appears from the crowd and taps Robinsons ankle as he launches.</p><p> </p><p>

The scouse git misses horribly and stuns himself. Adams manages to crawl over and place an arm on Robinson’s chest. One, two….. three! We have a new champion!</p><p> </p><p>

<p>WOLF Love to Burn April 2014</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="font-size:18px;">WOLF Love to Burn 2014</span></span></strong></p><p>

Att: 209</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Party Animals defeats Daljit and Buzzard E-</span></strong></p><p>

The perfect opening match, nobody minds if they were a tad late and Daljit loses again..</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Martin Heath defeats Beskov, Rodito and CJ to win Young Wolf Title D-</span></strong></p><p>

A surprise winner here. CJ looked good and Rodito is improving with every match but the young russian looked a class apart. However Beskov got drawn into a slugging match out of the ring with Rodito. CJ stopped to watch the slugfest and Heath got the black cowboy with a schoolboy pin. New champion and one very unhappy Ivan...</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Angle: Florence hypes up Rodito, Gregory and Welsh as “the future” D+</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Northern Lights defeats Celtic Lads E+</span></strong></p><p>

midcard training bout, result almost immaterial</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Walter Morgan defeats Nigel Svensson in a submission match D</span></strong></p><p>

Another crowd splitting match between these two. Samurai was seen to be nodding appreciatively at the technical skills being displayed but those wearing MOSC shirts went to the burger stand. After the match Morgan sportingly helps Svensson to his feet.</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Angle: Emma Evans shoots T shirts C+</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="font-size:14px;">British Samurai defeats Razor Valentine in a Cage Match D</span></strong></p><p>

Just what you would expect from these two veterans, but at times it felt scripted. Did Rodito miss a trick by not letting these experienced pros call it in the ring? Samurai is looking the class act in WOLF right now</p><p> </p><p>
