Joss Thompson sent me a cd. Now I can't get it out of my head. You see, there are a few times I have been around an alleged "track" and something something I think has got my back.

But I ain't, as it were, no, that is proper grammar, yes, holla back girl.

No. I ain't no holla back girl.

And then I imagine some "word" thing goes up and some pointless gang signs as if we were in some sort of "gangsta" area where instead of reality where doing something so ridiculous gets one killed in a myriad variety of ways, one's sheer bravado-again, something not present in the song nor these fake actions-would allow one to "chill" with one's "homies."

In short, I'm going to kill Joss Thompson.

~~~
I re-signed Edward Cornell. I cannot let my world champion go, even if it is to an excellent offer. Maybe I should phone Mr. Cornell. Er, Tommy, I suppose, as Edward is not exactly a child, now, is he?
Sam Strong, USPW
Sam: Tommy?
Tommy: Sam.
Sam: I thought Alicia was debuting at Malice.
Tommy: She is. Why do you ask?
Sam: She's facing you tonight!
Tommy: ...
Sam: If you just made the sound of an ellipsis, I cannot recognize the difference between that and not hearing me.
Tommy: She's not in the main event, idiot!
Sam: Ha ha, you brits never got the American sense of humor!
Tommy: Sam, let me give this too you clearly: I am not in the mood for childish revelry.
Sam: Fine, fine. But it's not Jumbo Jackson, right?
Tommy: Like I would turn him just for this show. No, I have it covered. It will not hurt anybody on your roster, nor anyone on mine. I'm Tommy Cornell; I can credibly beat anyone.
Sam: By the way, how come you only have one Wrestler of the Year Award?
Sam: Tom?
Sam: Tommy?
Sam: I can't hear your ellipses!
Alicia: Dad, he hung up.
Sam: HE BETTER NOT BE HUNG YOU'RE 16!
Alicia: I'm 26, dad. I've been wrestling professionally for five years for you.
Sam: NO DAUGHTER OF MINE IS GOING TO
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
Well that was odd.
Backstage I heard some sort of disturbance. Upon investigating, Dean Daniels had pulled a prank on Elemental.
ELE-****ING-MENTAL.
I suspended Daniels. "Sorry, I'll try not to let it happen again in the future." I'm tired of putting up with bull**** around here. Dean, Jerry, and Randy Bumfhole are all "on vacation," so to speak. I'll miss none of them, not even my son.
Furthermore, Cannonball and Laramee both have problems trying to work the quick pace I wanted from the match. Thus, this was a bumbling affair for the most part, ending with an Ego Trip on Stardust giving Scott the win.
-All four men need a lot of work.
Remo demolished Rogue backstage. Yes, heel-on-heel violence, but at least Emma played well trying to help Rogue out of the beatings.
-Both men need new gimmicks.
SWF North American Championship:
Eric Eisen vs. Lobster Warrior
A solid match, good for Eric's first defense. both men played the opeening bell well, with a tie-up quickly changing to Eric's signature quick-pace style. Good job.
And then I re-run the show after tweaks I thought I had made but didn't; sadly had to keep the SS match in there...
Angry Gilmore vs. Paul Huntingdon
A switch in storylines seems to have done good for Gimore; this match was quite nice. Paul had Chase on the outside to good effect; numerous little distractions and arguments broke up the slower spots in the match, allowing a clash to continue the action and keep the crowd hot.
A reckless attack by Angry Gilmore leaves him open to a counter, and the High Society has just enough to keep him down for the three.
-Change Tom's gimmick.like to a baker /trollface
Jack Bruce and Brandon James (with Emma Chase-again, quite helpful) are backcstage, arguing about who should take on Christian Faith for the championship. It seems James does better with the improvising until the mastersrsly two Who references?appears. That is, Christian Faith.
The veteran makes it clear that while he does not care which of the two of them he fights, he does want the challenger chosen the right way. And given this is professional wrestling, that would be with the upcoming main event: Jack Bruce vs. Brandon James.
Jack Bruce vs. Brandon James
Two notes: first, Emma Chase is earning her paycheck tonight; fantastic work with improving the segments her clients have been in. Secondly, Robun Yamazaki, our third chair with Jerry out, did not quite keep up with the action.
Given that I had gotten the psych note before, that likely helped the match.
Brandon and Jack are neither what I'd consider typical main event wrestlers; that honor goes to Faith and Money, I'd imagine. With Bruce's all-round talent, however, and James' clear brawling emphasis, this did much better than what I would expect some of our detracters would think it would have done.
Another action from Chase proved pivotal to the finish; as she was attempting to low blow Bruce off of James' referee distraction (hair pull or somesuch), Dawn the Cheerleader pulled Chase out of the ring. This led to James getting distracted, and The New York Minute that took him down kept him out of it.
-Will have to change a bit of the future storyline from this match, unfortunately.
Post-Show:
And, for fun, Emma Chase horribly botches her lines as she strips Jessie Gilmore to the delight of the crowd. Speaking of that, they tend to find themselves in the ring quite a lot against each other, with the odd tag to their partner eliciting the same response on the other side of the ring.
Rick Law seems to be on edge after his previous Minnesota attack, and his fear is confirmed as Joey runs down the ramp late into the second ten minutes of the match. A quick tag to Vessey-and Johnson-and Law bails from the apron to fight with Joey.
Vessey gets the upper hand on Ricky, and Rocky is tagged in. It was a nice, light match, one that perhaps had me enjoying it a bit too much to focus on what I was supposed to be doing. I guess.
Nonetheless, the outshined main event ends with me, once again, standing tall as victor.
On the microphone? I'm a master. We hit below 12. Down from 12.15, more precisely.
I'm disappointed in my roster. Admittedly, I have much to do with this, but the fact that they can't deliver in one of the most important shows of the month is...disappointing.
On the plus side, Dark Angel is here. He's got questionable consistency for a main event talent (which he will be, soon), but other than that, a great steal from Jeff.
