Organic Picture Sets

Recommended Posts

Thank you. I was asking because the cuts in this set you just uploaded for the 80s, all of them were against the graffiti background, which was different from the preview pics you had previously posted. Just making sure that was correct. :p

There is a graffiti pack for the 80s and the 90s and an organic pack for both as well.

I will upload the 80s organic pack and link it momentarily.

-Working on pictures. Running tests to see how things work out. The alliance is killing the territories so far. Still missing a couple of people pictures. In a week or two I send it to Idolized see he can the full version with pictures.

Have you thought about tinkering with the alliance settings, even if they're not completely true to life, so that it's not a gameplay killer?

I need good pictures of 2731 workers I have right now it's a mix of D.O.T.T. pictures and what Genadi's has released plus pics I have found on the internet. It's about to be finished though, it's little different than want I released especially roster wise. Plus I am going to fudge history a little to get the WWF where they should be... i.e. starting off on the USA network when they didn't start til October I believe. I am not going to kill GCW like I was trying originally.

That is causing GCW to become a monster and it starting to be a war plus the NWA is tearing itself apart. Almost half the promotions in the NWA are hostile towards each other by the end of the first year. So it's truly turning into the 1980's.

Since this thread is bumped up yet the other one hasn't (plus it has to do with this anyways) did you ever find that unmasked Shanghai Pierce pic you had said about?

An unmasked pic of him that isn't Henry Godwinn or Mark Canterbury (.....you know what I mean lol) will be great for use in my WCW 94 diary.

No, but I will try to this weekend. I do have another update to upload at some point.

Anyway, reason I'm bumping this is that I get a PM quite a bit with some questions that I want to answer in the thread so everyone knows:

1) I do not mind if you make your own cuts of this and put them on the website. Of course, go for it! If everyone switched to organic and started doing nothing but that I'd be thrilled! As for putting it in my personal pack, I'm incredibly picky about proportions. I waste a ton of time getting them as close to similar as possible, so if you want me to upload them with mine I'd only ask that you try to size them the way I have.

2) You can use my packs for any mod you want. You can use some pics, all pics, most pics, etc. You can cut them to KyKy if you want, you can drop my pack in with your pack if you want, etc. No restrictions on any use for any reason.

3) This is the big one that gets asked. How do I make these? It's so mind numbingly easy guys which is the biggest advantage of them.

I simply take a pre-formated background that has the border preset (link below) and then take my source image and move it into the border with photoshop. (Gimp works, but PS is much easier) I then resize the picture to the proportions I want while in the border and then enhance contract, brightness, vibrancy, etc. until I am happy with the result. That's it. The only time I ever have a lot of work to do is if I want to edit something out of the background or color a BW photo.

How in the world do you colorize BW photos, anyway? >.< Sorry if I'm being a Photoshop idiot here, lol.

I have a program called Axvis Colorage? I think that's how it is spelled. It's very hard to do a good job with it because it is difficult to be precise, but it does the trick. You may not realize it, but a lot of the organics were once BW that I colored. :)

I'll be sure to use these for Main Event. ^_^ One question if you don't mind: are we going to have to manually set a lot of the pictures in Golden Age with Genadi's tricky selection of pics(like how some workers are assigned as Worker (2).jpg)?</p>
