I'm so ready for this to be done... I'm wanting to start over since I felt I screwed up but I want the latest data. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>It's getting there. </p><p> </p><p>

I've been reworking some of the younger worker stats because I realized you could star this mod and sign Jericho and Storm and have a great tag team on your hands from the start. In real life neither worker was ready to be on tv in 1991.</p>

Ahh sweet! That was one of the main issues I had but I didn't know if it was the game mechanics or what. Currently in your 2.0 version I have a few guys like that, that made it up the card so fast it feels unrealistic to put the Intercontinental title on them.

So, I for one appreciate this sort of attention to detail. :)

Feel free to list any that you came across that were like that.

Feel free to list any that you came across that were like that.

Well I don't know if they were ready to be on TV but guys I threw on TV right away that may be worth a second look:

Diamond Dallas Page

Steve Austin

Mick Foley

Owen Hart

Chris Jericho

Brian Pillman

Billy Gunn

Bart Gunn

Booker T

Stevie Ray

Vampiro

Raven

Tatanka

Steve Williams

Juventud Guerrera

Sean Waltman

Perry Saturn

Ken Shamrock

Rey Mysterio Jr

2 Cold Scorpio

Rob Van Dam

Sabu

Glenn Gilbertti (Disco Inferno)

William Regal

Ahmed Johnson

Lance Storm

Jeff Jarrett

Jesse James

Kevin Nash

Kane

Bubba Ray

Devon

John Nord

Note that some of these guys may have been ready for the big leagues but just hadn't appeared yet which I don't know the difference between that and my child's mind (I would have been 7 in 1991). :)

Some of these guys stayed in development for a bit then were ready. Also have to take into account destiny rolls I suppose.

A couple guys with low psychology that I couldn't believe:

Roddy Piper, Ken Shamrock, & British Bulldog.

Maybe they couldn't call a match from in ring or maybe it was a destiny roll thing but something to look at maybe.

Yep a lot of those guys have been tweaked, but some of them were actually at their best at this point. They just weren't on tv in the USA. Steve Williams and John Nord for example were at their peak for sure. John Nord was never given a real shot after the AWA. The WWF turned him into a joke. Guy was a good brawler though.

Steve Williams was a beast, he just stayed in Japan for money and a better push for guys of his style.

<p>Great mod. </p><p> </p><p>

Not sure if anyone else has this "problem" though.</p><p> </p><p>

Once I hit 1993, WCW begins firing people like crazy over steroids. Sting, Vader, Simmons, Rude, Pillman, and others.</p><p> </p><p>

It's amazing to be able to grab all that talent, but at the same time it might hurt the experience. </p><p> </p><p>

I guess I can just resist hiring them and hope that eventually WCW picks them back up. </p><p> </p><p>

Wow, looks like they're also going broke. I might have to edit their money in order to keep them in the game. </p><p> </p><p>

It sucks because they were doing so well up until this point in my game, even managed to beat me in a few bidding wars.</p><p> </p><p>

I guess my advice would be to take away some of the bad habits. Yeah, it sucks because it takes away from realism, but at the same time these "bad habits" might not have been so much of a factor back then. Weren't these things very popular back in the day?</p>

<p>Not sure if you released one beyond 3.1, but here's the version I got on my screen.</p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b626/zachxwf/fired_zps0ccfa02a.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

I guess the game (not your mod) is really anti-steroids. I love the realism of this and all, but it's almost game breaking. I think if TEW had been made in 1993 that bad habits wouldn't be as influential as they are now. </p><p> </p><p>

One way around this might be to set up a bunch of narratives (the one where a worker starts drugs/roids) that kick off randomly in the timeline. That'd probably be a pain in the ass though.</p>

<p>I can't tell you that unfortunately. </p><p> </p><p>

I got worried when I saw these stories popping off so I looked into them in the editor.</p><p> </p><p>

Their money was at <span style="color:#FF0000;">-$17,000,000</span></p><p> </p><p>

I was afraid I might lose my competition because up until then I was having a lot of fun with bidding wars and whatnot. (Companies can close without someone taking over right?) So I edited their money to 1 million.</p><p> </p><p>

WOOPS I mis read your question</p><p> </p><p>

Ted Turner and Jim Ross (booker) run the place. Jim Herd was fired in 1991 for bad performance.</p>

I don't know...</p><p> </p><p> I've never had a new booker for WCW and you have to remember each playthrough is meant to be different than real life... editing money back to them can save them.</p><p> </p><p> I wouldn't worry too much about them firing all those guys. Just roll with it. Sign them if you want to and give WCW money back. They'll find the guys they want. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>WCW is firing all of those guys because they are broke most likely, not because of steroids. </p><p> </p><p>

They are probably dealing with really bad financial problems. </p><p> </p><p>

Strange though, I've never seen anything like that in any of my tests. </p><p> </p><p>

Keep in mind that the industry is probably really bad at that point which reflects reality. I'll do some more sim tests tomorrow through 93 to see if anything like that is going on or if that was just a fluke.</p>
