Hive, if you could make a 1992 or a 2005 mod i would love you forever. :p

I consider 1992 and 1993 to be justtxyank's territory, I wouldn't dare do go there!

While 2005 (or late 2004) does hold fond memories for me, as it was when I after many years of hiatus (and quickly follow by a fair deal years of hiatus again) returned to the world of wrestling and got sucked in by WWF/WWE for the first time - I just don't feel my data, with heavy focus on the 90's, would be a suitable match for this time period. I'd have to change way too many things, might as well start from scratch in that case... and that, I'm afraid I have no patience for. :D

I will go ahead and tell everyone in advance that you will probably need to download an entire new copy of nGo as opposed to an update pack on the next release.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Enough new cuts to justify an entirely new pack is great if you ask me. nGo 4 Life! :D

I can't speak for WCW, but '92 would actually be a great time to jump in and book the WWF. If it started in January, the WWF title would be vacant, which would open up some really interesting possibilities.

Yeah, it was one of the best WWF years on the Golden Era - and its start has really a huge breach for lots of paths. I'm glad Yank will make a 93 mod but if someone could make 92 i would love it.

I'm in agreement with whoever said someone needs to make a mod in mid 2000s. I think we have a WCW lives/dies alternate scenarios mod and that is it. It would be nice to have something a little after that.

I was a big fan of the era after the Attitude Era as well...realism era or whatever they called it... something just before the switch would be awesome so the person can go the way of PG or stay in the Attitude Era forever. :)

It's almost a given that I will port Rising Storms forward to January 1992 and release that. There's no sense in me going to 93 and skipping 92.

I'll likely do January 92 and January 93

Interesting. Any particular reason for doing 2 x January, or is it just because it will work better ingame wise (with awards and such)?

as it's not all that difficult to move forward 1 year at a time in this time period.

I don't know about that, a lot of stuff happens in 1 year... tag team experience/status, contracts, injuries, etc... I will say though that it's much easier going forward than backwards.

But... aren't you doing a 2004 diary? I assume that's based on some mod?

January of 92 is a good spot, really; for the WWF, you have such a great roster, and the vacant title is a good jumping on point to go anywhere with it. For WCW, Luger is on the way out as champion with Sting as his contender, but with guys like Vader and the Dangerous Alliance on his heels.

Honestly, the start of 93 really only gives you the very first Raw to work off of. Not a bad thing though, as it's a lot like doing September 95 for WCW.

Nope, must be someone else with a similar name or avatar. I'm terrible at diaries. :)

Oh right, sorry. I'm thinking of RKOwnage. I assume I won't have to explain where I went wrong? :p

Anyway, he's doing a 2004 diary - so I assume *someone* did mods in that timeframe.

Love that you're doing those two time periods. So may different scenarios I've wanted to play with and never really had the chance to.

I haven't gotten back to working on my improved version of the 1987 mod since I've gotten back to working on Risky Business. I'm thinking once I'm done with 1985 and 1987, I might do 1986. Does this make me the 80s guy for mod making? :p

Yeah it's mainly because it makes the game world smoother. Awards work better, etc. Also, I tend to get enjoyment out of running a full calendar year when I run a game so that's the way I see mods being built. :)

<p>Just FYI, and I hope this doesn't bother people...</p><p> </p><p>

There are several workers that I just couldn't find DOBs for that I felt were worth adding. In their case I either estimated based on someone saying something about their age in a video or by watching their match on youtube or pictures and just guessing.</p>

<p>Can't remember how you handled Rachel Summerlyn's "relationship" to the Putski family, but I think we can lay the talk to rest now, as she is definitely <strong>not</strong> a member of the Putski family as I came across this:</p><p> </p><p>

<a href="http://www.pwinsider.com/article/45337/ivan-putski-shoots-hard-updated-with-note-on-statements-regarding-shimmer.html?p=1" rel="external nofollow">http://www.pwinsider.com/article/45337/ivan-putski-shoots-hard-updated-with-note-on-statements-regarding-shimmer.html?p=1</a></p><p> </p><p>

I always wondered if it was a he said/they said situation because for awhile, I only heard their side, and Scott Putski's side. But now if Ivan is chiming in saying she's not a part of their family, and knowing that Ivan and Scott are known not to BS people, then I would think it's safe to say not to put in a blood relative relationship involving Rachel and the Putskis. So for other mod-makers out there, you can update your Rachel Summerlyn bios now and take out any Blood Relative relationship with Ivan and Scott Putski.</p>
