Is it a bad thing that I'm kinda enjoying TFC picking on Smasher? :p

Thank you everyone, for the comments on the past few shows. I'm so glad that everyone enjoyed Rude/Sting, especially; but I felt The Giant was the best surprise of the whole show. I won't lie in that I took a lot of the cues on that from TFC; but in the interest of "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" I don't think he'll have minded much.

In a way though, one of my next favorite things to do may be booking Scorpio :D

Giant's arrival was also great. I pictured him doing it, and then stepping over the ropes like a giant... well... he is some kind of giant!!!

So there we go... I can't say much more than that really, apart from congratulations on such an awesome show!!!!! And your roster is great too!!!

My CPU is currently in for repairs, so I can't try to verify right now, but I'm pretty sure Taker was F- across the board with the possible exception of the Tri State, where my developmental fed runs their shows. Little over a year later, and he's at least DiBiase's equal in popularity; he might even be ahead of him ever so slightly. If you can use Giant and Hogan the way I used Taker and DiBiase, his popularity should skyrocket. Hulk is obviously massively over and can cut promos, and I'm assuming Giant has fantastic menace, so my early formula of letting Ted do the talking while Taker stood around and looked terrifying should work well for you.

Hogan slaps away a sign from the front row that says “Lex Got Screwed!” and screams about how he’s the champion now and forever. As they enter the ring, Jesse is impressed by how the man steps so calmly over the top rope, saying it takes someone with great balance and height to do that. Hogan takes the microphone, and he says that he told everyone he would still have the World title after Bash at the Beach! This is met with a lot of boos, but Hollywood laughs them off, telling the fans that even Stallone coming in couldn’t stop him. He talks about how WCW tried to bring in a ringer, but he had his own ringer, seven-foot, four inches, and four hundred and fifty pounds worth of a ringer! Hogan says that this is his giant – THEE Giant, the best and one true Giant in wrestling today, brother! The Giant, for his part, stands silently with his arms crossed over his chest.

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/RandySavage.jpg

“Macho Man” Randy Savage comes out of the back! Savage walks into the ring and he addresses Hogan, saying that Roddy was so mad at what happened, he left the arena before the show was over. But as for “The Macho Man”, well……… he goes over and pats The Giant on his massive chest, telling him welcome to the Kings, brother yeah! Tony says that this was a dark day for WCW; because as if Hollywood didn’t have enough gang members and pull in WCW by holding the title, now he can get away with anything, because who’s going to stand up against Hogan and this giant?!

But Tony gets his answer quickly!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/LexLuger.jpg

The sound of Megadeth brings out “The Total Package” Lex Luger! Lex is smart enough to stay back at the aisle with his own microphone, and he says that he’s almost happy to see what’s in front of him right now – because he knows that the only way to beat Hollywood is to do it when he’s at his best, when he has all his cards laid out on the table, just like this. Luger admits that maybe he got a little overconfident, with Piper saying there would be no interference and with Sylvester Stallone as the referee; but Hogan still had this huge ace up his sleeve. Lex says that if there is any shred of honor left in Hogan, he will give him a rematch on an even playing field. Hogan laughs at him, saying that Luger will never get another World title match from him. Lex says that he has already talked to Ted DiBiase, though, before he even came out here – and he says that the match has been signed for a six man tag team match at Slamboree! Hogan seems upset about having a match, but shakes it off by saying he had so much fun beating him up, that Hollywood will meet him at Slamboree, if Luger can find himself a few “sacrificial lambs” for the tag team match! Hollywood practically names off Randy Savage and Roddy Piper as his partners – “if Roddy is through with his little fit” – and says that there’s no way Luger can find anyone in the next two weeks who would be stupid enough to join him in Texas to meet the best six-man tag team ever, brother! Luger smiles, saying that he’s already got the best partners a Chicago native could ever find!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Hawk2.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Animal2.jpg

Hollywood Hogan’s jaw drops as the Road Warriors join Luger at the top of the aisle! Jesse does note that it’s odd she joins commentary only during a match featuring Ichii Yazaki, but she brushes it off without an answer by paying attention to the action in the ring. The action is fine, but the crowd are still abuzz from the announcement about Slamboree, so these two great masked competitors don’t get the attention that they should be. A sign in the crowd cheers on Yazaki, which says “Ichii Yazaki, LoveMachine” on it. The match is ended abruptly, however, by the distraction of Sonny Onoo, who hops onto the ring apron and shakes the ropes while Yazaki was on the top. Ichii climbs down painfully, and walks right into a small package to give the champion the win.

Winner in 8:56 and still champion: Ultimo Dragon

Rating: D+

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Syxx.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ReyMysterio.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BradArmstrong.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/MartyJannetty.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TedDibiase.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/WCWs/StevieRichards.jpg

We head back to Ted DiBiase’s office after that match, as Ted and Richard Stevenson are being yelled at by a slew of people, all wanting to know when their shot against Ultimo Dragon will be! He talks about Nick Bockwinkel, saying that “Nicky” may not have been able to get rid of him earlier this year, but even after he made such a huge splash in WCW by “letting the cannon fire freely” he’s still become an afterthought, and there’s only one reason for that – because of how often he’s been written out by his friend here, as he motions toward the pencil. Gene asks Austin about the chilling words we just heard from partner Brian Pillman, but Austin shrugs it off, saying that he and Brian may hold the gold, but they don’t really concern themselves with one another aside from defending it. Austin instead talks about next week on WCW Saturday Night, as he teams up with Cactus Jack to face Randy Savage and Scott Hall, saying that without Piper there, Savage and Hall will crumble to dust in front of crazy Cactus and the alcohol-fueled Austin. Jack takes over, saying that he has a lot of pain in mind for Scott Hall, to make up for him costing Jack and Terry Funk their Tag titles – but the pain in his heart for Hall putting Funk out of action will be the pain he unleashes, not only next week but also at Slamboree when he meets Hall in a one-on-one match! Austin gives that an aw hell yeah, adding that if Piper wants to get in his face, he’ll give that old bastard the Stunner just as fast as he would anybody else who gets in his way, even if that’s Jack! Badd, the crowd are ready to see the Horsemen get some comeuppance in this one, and Ron Simmons looks like just the guy to do it. Flair smiles at a sign that says “Flair=Ratings” but his smile disappears quickly once the bell sounds. Simmons doesn’t play any games in this one, not letting Flair play his mind games; instead he bulls Flair with some high powered offense including a gorilla press slam and shoulderblocks that send the eleven time World champion sprawling to the outside to confer with “The Brain”. Bobby and Ric try to get a new strategy going, which ends up just being Flair poking Ron in the eyes. Flair starts living up to his “Dirtiest Player in the Game” moniker, as Arn Anderson starts cheering his best friend on while at commentary. Simmons makes a big rally toward the end of the match, but Ric ducks a clothesline and clips the knee one last time before locking the figure four leglock in at the center of the ring. Ron fights it as long as he can, but eventually there is no escape, and big Ron ends up submitting to the pain. I'm feeling so honored to have finally won a Monthly Spotlight! Big thanks to those who voted for me in the poll, and even bigger thanks for those who have kept up with this for the past year. Hopefully I can occasionally pick up a new reader here and there, but even if it's just the small number of us here to read the exploits of the War of the Thrones, I'll still write it for everyone!

Honestly you deserve to win the monthly spotlight for The Bash. That was the best PPV write I've seen in any dynasty, Great job and I hope we can see many more PPV's like The Bash.
