<p><em><strong>OOC Note:</strong></em> 2001 holds a special place in Wrestling history for me, and not just because it was the last time i watched every show i could excitedly. I started watching wrestling as a youngster in the very late eighties where my Dad introduced me to World of Sport (UK) a few years later and we got Sky TV and discovered WWF where we used to sit every saturday night as a family and watch Hulk Hogan, the Legion of Doom and Ultimate Warrior (to name our favorites) do battle in the square circle. As i got a little older i stopped watched wrestling for awhile until one Friday night in the mid nineties i discovered WCW it seemed so much different from the Cartoon Style wrestling i had watched WWF put out and i fell in love, soon me and my brother was watching it every week until that dreaded time all you wrestling fans must surely remember ...</p><p> </p><p>

... Eric Bischoff announcing that he was attempting to buy WCW but discussions with the promotion had stalled ...</p><p> </p><p>

I had started watching a little WWF again (after the Radicalz jumped ship).</p><p> </p><p>

Without being overdramatic and blaming the inVasion, 2001 was the last time i watched WWF regular, i continued to watch on and off for a year or so before giving up on the company altogether. I became bored of wrestling, i tried to keep up over the years, watching RoH and TNA now and again as well as going to local shows but my wrestling love had died alot after the inVasion storyline. Eventually the Wrestling Channel debuted on UK TV and a little spark grew inside me and i got back into wrestling ... But not as much as i once was.</p><p> </p><p>

I have always wanted to portray my vision of how i feel the inVasion angle should of been run. My aim is to run this until the end of the storyline but as of yet i have no plans to run any further (i just don't love the real wrestling world as much as the CVerse i'm afraid). I have alot of ideas as to where i will be going storyline-wise that i have stored for years in my head (come on what wrestling fan of my age hasn't in their head tried to come up with ways in which the inVasion could of been better!?)</p><p> </p><p>

The actual in TEW booking would start in May. (So yes i have 4 weeks of 'fantasy' booking to get through first).</p><p> </p><p>

Updates will be whenever i get round to them ELITE will remain my main project, this is a side project/guilty pleasure. I may not run a prediction contest or if i do it will be just for the PPV's.</p><p> </p><p>

So thats a little of my wrestling story, hopefully a few of you guys will join me and read my vision of WWF vs WCW.</p><p> </p><p>

Can't wait as we all know it could have been possibly the best company wide angles of all time. This for me anyway is a must read!!!

It always should of been the greatest angle in Wrestling history, we saw how well the nWo angle ran .. (Until it wasn't relevent anymore) This should of been an nWo mark 2 sort of angle.

After the final WCW Nitro WWF's RAW is WAR continued for a further hour, for those of you who were too shocked to turn over this is what happened.

Vince McMahon is upset that Shane "Stole" the purchase of WCW from under him, he is on the phone to his attorneys wondering how this happened.

Hardy Boyz/Benoit vs Kurt Angle/Edge and Christian

Benoit locks the Crossface on Christian for the win.

After the match Rhyno comes in and Spears Matt Hardy then Lita.

Kevin Kelly interviews Undertake and Kane backstage. The Undertake says that Triple H can hide tonight but come Wrestlemania he is finished.

Big Show vs Chris Jericho

Big Show throws Jericho out the ring, Kane comes out and assualts Big Show. Raven then comes out and goes for Kane. Out comes Regal who goes after Jericho, Big Show Choke Slams Jericho for the 3 count.

After the match Kane grabs a Steel Chair and knocks down the Big Show and then Choke Slams Raven.

The Rock is shown looking for Austin's locker room.

The Dudley Boyz are at WWF New York.

The Rock says he wont touch Austin and Austin shouldn't touch him during their match with the Brothers of Destruction .. But after the match all bets are off. Austin agrees.

Big Show and Kane continued to brawl ending with the two throwing each other through a wall. Raven tried to escape by driving off a golf cart, but Big Show stopped him. Kane shortly followed with another golf cart, accompanied by the referee, and ran over Raven. The fight headed back into the stadium with Big Show attempting to press slam Raven off the entrance stage but both were kicked off it by Kane. Benoit eventually succeeded in forcing Angle to tap out to the Crippler Crossface but with the referee knocked out, Benoit was unable to attain victory. Near the end of the match, Benoit tried to pin Angle after a Diving Headbutt but was met with a two-count. Shane dominated his father during the start of the match with attacks involving a Kendo stick and monitors from the Spanish announcers' table. Lying Vince on the table, Shane climbed back into the ring and attempted to perform a diving elbow drop off the top rope. His sister Stephanie moved Vince off the table, however, leaving Shane to crash into it. Trish Stratus came towards the ring, pushing Linda McMahon out on a wheelchair. Vince tried to embrace Trish, but she slapped him. In retaliation, Stephanie got into a fight with Trish that led them out of the stadium. With Linda alone, Vince approached her to the detestment of guest referee Mick Foley but the owner replied with a few chair shots. Dragging Linda into the ring and placing her on a chair, Vince forced her to watch him beat his son down a couple of times with a trash can. As he went for a third shot with the can, however, Linda stood up and kicked Vince in the testicles. The match contained many dangerous spots involving the weapons involved. Respective associates of each tag team, Spike Dudley on behalf of the Dudley Boyz, Rhyno on behalf of Edge and Christian and Lita on behalf of the Hardy Boyz, interfered during the match. With Spike and Rhyno both laying on two tables outside the ring, Jeff Hardy set up a huge ladder beside them and performed a Swanton Bomb onto them through the tables. Jeff tried to go for the belts but has his ladder pulled off his feet by Bubba Ray Dudley, leaving Jeff hanging onto the belts in the air. After climbing onto a bigger ladder, Edge jumped off it and spears Jeff onto the ground. Bubba Ray and Matt Hardy started to climb the same ladder but were met by Rhyno who pushed them off the ladder and through some more tables outside the ring. With Chioda knocked out, the two brawled outside the ring without any risk of a countout and into the technical area. Over there, Triple H gave Undertaker several shots in the head with a steel chair but was eventually reversed into a Chokeslam off the scaffolding followed by an diving elbow drop. Back in the ring as Chioda regained consciousness, Triple H tried to pin The Undertaker after preventing Undertaker's Last Ride maneuver with a sledgehammer shot in the head but only gained a two-count. When the wrestlers returned to the ring, blood was shed from both Austin and The Rock after both had hit each other with the ring bell. The Rock attempted to place Austin into a Sharpshooter hold, but Austin reversed it and placed The Rock into his own Sharpshooter. After releasing the hold following the referee's request he held The Rock by use of the Million Dollar Dream, a submission hold best known from his former gimmick, The Ringmaster. Shortly after, The Rock used Austin's own finishing maneuver on Austin by executing a Stunner. Vince McMahon then came to ringside to observe the match. When The Rock tried to pin Austin after the People's Elbow, McMahon pulled The Rock away. After chasing McMahon around the ring, Austin responded by using The Rock's signature move, the Rock Bottom. Later, after The Rock improbably kicked out of the Stunner after a two count, which he received after attacking McMahon in the ring, McMahon then handed Austin a steel chair to hit The Rock with at Austin's request, revealing that Austin had sided with McMahon, a man he once considered his arch-nemesis. With this, Austin turned heel. Austin tried to end the match with the Stone Cold Stunner again, but after The Rock kicked out a furious Austin decided he'd had enough. The challenger then pummeled the champion with sixteen consecutive chair shots, enabling Austin to pin The Rock and become the new WWF Champion. Stephanie McMahon comes out with a leather belt and said that Trish had the nerve to slap her dad Vince in the face. She said how ungrateful can Trish be? Stephanie tells her that payback is a bitch. She said she is not only going to kick her ass, she will whip it. She said that she will face Trish. Then she introduces Vince McMahon. Vince comes out with a big present rapped in red. Vince said all he asks for is a little respect. Vince seemed happy and he said that right here in the ring tonight, he has the privilege to hand the WWF title to Austin. He said he was not happy when Trish slapped him, then he talks about his wife Linda and said that she kicked him in the....He said what kind of woman would do such a thing. Then he said Mick Foley, for no reason, hammers him in the corner at Wrestlemania. He said, then from there, Shane takes a garbage can and jams it into his chest and drop kicked it on his head. But he said, Wrestlemania ended well with him. Then he said he listened to the play by play for Wrestlemania. Vince asked Jim Ross if he said that Austin sold his soul to the devil himself and Jim Ross said "yes". Vince goes back in the ring and says, "well, when you think about it, I am not the devil". Vince said that someone bought him a gift for being in Texas, and he opens the present and he takes out a cowboy hat and he makes fun of them. He puts the hat on the ground and said "this is what I think of Texas" and steps on it. Rock's music hits and he comes out. The Rock demands a rematch for the belt and he wants it tonight. Vince tells him that it's not going to happen. Rock said it one more time and told him he found a way that Vince might change his mind and Rock makes his way to the ring and confronts Vince. Vince told him to calm down. Vince told him he will not give him the match tonight, then Rock gave him one more chance to change his mind. Then Rock puts the sharpshooter on Vince. Then he lets go of the hold and asks Vince one more time and Vince said yes. While Rock was leaving, Vince told him he will have his match in a steel cage.

Match #1

The Radicalz vs Test and The Acolytes

Eddie makes fun of Test's loss at Wrestlemania. Then the Acolytes come out as Test's tag team partners. The Match starts with Bradshaw and Faarooq cleaning house. Then Faarooq squares off against Saturn. Powerslam by Faarooq and makes the tag to Bradshaw. Then Bradhsaw gets double teamed by the Radicalz. Eddie gets the tag, then Malenko gets the tag quickly and Malenko beats on Bradshaw and makes the tag back to Saturn. Ediie gets the tag and so does Test. Test beats down Eddie. Malenko comes in and gets beaten down, then Saturn comes in and does a fisherman suplex. Then Test does a full Nelson slam on Saturn and gets a 2 count. Then Terri comes in and Test picks her up, then Saturn grabs her from test, then Test delivers a big boot to the face and gets the win while the others were fighting on the outside.

Winners: Test and The Acolytes

Stephanie walks into Regal's office and asks Regal to make sure Trish won't escape out of their match tonight. Regal asks her if she really wants to do this match tonight and Stephanie said yes and starts hitting on Regal's desk with the belt in her hands.

Vince McMahon walks into Regal's office and tells him that Austin is arriving to the arena and he will meet up with him and he needs Regal to take care of the match between Stephanie and Trish and Vince asks him if he knows what to do and Regal said yes.

Michael Cole asks HHH about his loss and HHH asks him "How many days are in a year?" and Cole said "365" and HHH said 364 days he has been kicking ass and one day in 365 days he had a bad night. Then Cole asks him if he knew about what was going to happen in the match between Austin/Rock last night and HHH said "What do you think?".

Match #2

Trish Stratus vs Stephanie

Stephanie meets Trish half way on the entrance ramp and she attacks her. Then trish hits her and throws her in the ring and gets her leather belt. Then Steph gets the belt and chokes Trish with it. Then Steph does a DDT and gets the belt and hits Trish. Then Trish gets up and hits Steph. Then Trish hits Stephanie with the belt like crazy. Steph falls to the outside and Trish goes after her and beats her. Then Steph grabs Lilian Garcia and pushes her on trish and Steph throws Trish in the ring. Steph does a clotheline and gets the belts and hits Trish with both belts. Then Regal comes out while Trish was beating on Steph and pulls Trish off shoving her down to the mat hard ... Then Jericho comes out and throws Regal out and chases Stephanie.

Winner: No Contest

Match #3

Crash Holly vs Rhyno

Both men start off by exchanging fists, then Crash takes down Rhyno and puts him in the corner and beats on him. Then out of nowhere, Rhyno spears him and gets the win. Then Molly comes out and jumps on Rhyno, then Rhyno gets up and spears her.

Winner: Rhyno

Cole asks Debra of how she feels about Austin siding with McMahon and Debra said she can't talk about it.

Vince comes out with the WWF title and said that he heard some boos when he mentioned Austin's name. Then Vince said that they cheered Austin when he won last night and how come they are booing him now...Vince tells the fans that they suck up to their bosses, so he tells them not to blame Austin for what he did to become the WWF Champion. Then he introduces Austin and Austin comes out for a mixed reaction...it appears they cheered him more. Vince McMahon says that Austin deserved that belt. Austin said that since he got what he wants, if they want him to kick McMahon's ass, give me a hell yeah and the crowd cheered. Then Austin said that it's not going to happen. Then Austin bashes the fans. Austin said that he has his explanation. He said he owes them no explanation and he does not owe them a thing. Austin talks about the Rock and said that he will bounce Rock's candy ass all over that cage. Vince McMahon said "That's the bottom line, cause Mr. McMahon said so."

HHH is shown unhappy backstage.

Match #4

Hardcore Title

Kane vs Val Venis

Val hits Kane with a garbage can and Val puts him in the corner and beats him, then Kane reverses it and beats on Val. Kane powerslams Val Venis. Richards comes in and Kane knocks him down. Val Venis hits Kane with a garbage can from behind. Then Val sends Kane head first into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Val DDTs Kane and only gets a two count. Val tried to do a Russian leg sweep, but Kane knocks Val down. Val gets up and goes on the top rope and jumps on Kane and covers, but Kane kicks out. Val continues to beat on Kane. Val puts a garbage can between the ropes and goes after Kane and was about to send Kane into the can but Kane reverses it. Kane goes on the top rope and clothelines Val and gets the win. After the match, Right to Censor comes out and beat on Kane, then Undertaker comes out and cleans house.

Winner: Kane

HHH confronts Regal and asks him where Vince is and regal said "you mean Mr. McMahon" and HHH said no I mean Vince, my father in law and the person that tried to hide this whole Austin thing from me....Then he threatened to hurt Regal if he did not tell him where Vince was and finally Regal tells him.

HHH confronts Vince and Vince tells him that Stone Cold was a winner at Wrestlemania and he wasn't, he tells him that Austin asked for his help. HHH was pissed started breaking stuff backstage.

Match #5

Handicap Match

Chris Jericho vs William Regal and Kurt Angle

Regal hammers down Jericho, then Jericho gets up and drop kicks him from the top rope and Jericho hits Angle. Then it's Angle and Jericho, Angle receives the Walls of Jericho and Regal makes the save. Kurt stomps on Jericho and makes the tag to Regal and Regal takes down Jericho. Jericho does a spinning heal kick and does a couple of chops on Regal and takes Regal down and does the Lionsault, but Kurt Angle breaks the count. Jericho goes on the top rope and Angle trips him and regal does an underhook suplex from the top rope and covers but Jericho kicks out. Angle gets the tag and punches Jericho, then Angle does the Olympic slam and tags Regal and Regal comes in and covers but Jericho kicks out. Jericho bounces off the ropes and Kurt hits him with a steel chair and Regal takes him down for the pin. After the match, they beat on Jericho and Chris Benoit comes out and makes the save.

Winners: William Regal and Kurt Angle

"The One" Billy Gunn vs X-Pac

Gunn puts a headlock, then does a Russian leg sweep. Gunn twists X-Pac's arm then lets it go. Powerslam on X-Pac and sends X-pac to the outside. On the outside, Justin Credible tried to kick Gunn, but Gunn catches him, then X-Pac does a baseball slide. Back in the ring, X-Pac is in control after delivering a spinning heal kick. X-Pac does a bronco buster. Then Billy Gunn gets up and takes him down. Gunn does a gorilla plex slam and does the Famasser and Credible distracts the referee and Albert comes in and does the Albert bomb and X-Pac covers for the win. After the match, they beat on Gunn.

Winner: X-Pac

Shane McMahon was at WWF New York and said that Wrestlemania was awesome. Shane said that he is proud of what he did and his dad deserved it. While he was talking, the fans at WWF new York started to chant WCW real loud. Shane said that things will get interesting about WCW and to stay tuned...

Steel Cage

WWF Title

The Rock vs Steve Austin

The match starts with Austin closing the cage door on rock's head and he pulls Rock out of the cage and beats him on the outside. Rock fights back and low blows Austin. Then Rock knocks down Austin with the WWF title. Austin is busted open. Rock sends him head first into the steel cage. Rock sends him in the ring and Rock beats on him. The Austin puts Rock in the corner and punches him, then Rock fires back with a clotheline and covers but only gets a two count. Austin takes down Rock and does a sling shot and Rock's head hits the cage and Austin does a spine buster and only gets a two count. Austin low blows the Rock and tells Vince to give him a steel chair. Austin gets the chair and beats on Rock. Then rock gets up and does the sharpshooter on Austin. Vince distracts the referee while Austin was tapping out. Rock does the spine buster and the People's elbow and covers but McMahon drags out the referee on the count of two. Referee Tim White shoves down Vince. Rock does the Rock Bottom and again McMahon breaks the count. Rock sends McMahon head first into the steel cage. Rock assaults McMahon. Austin low blows Rock from behind and Vince knocks down the referee. HHH comes down with a sledge hammer and looks at Austin, then HHH hits the Rock with the sledge hammer. Then Austin and HHH beat on Rock and Austin stuns the Rock. Austin gets 3 beers and they drink beer together.

Winner: No Contest

Austin says he's looking forward to it. Vince says he's going to address an entire arena full of Oklahomans tonight.

Vince enters the arena and struts to the ring. Vince can't believe he's in Oklahoma. He can say he's been in all 50 states and yet another foreign country. That's what it feels like in Oklahoma, a foreign country. It reminds him of Zimbabwe. Looking into the eyes of Oklahoma natives looks like Zimbabwe natives with the same blank stare. Maybe they're not quite all there upstairs. Asshole chants start. Vince says to get it out of their systems. He's not here to insult their intelligence. He believes the founding fathers of the state have already done that. That's why they named the state the same name as the city. He says Richard Nixon is no longer president. He says The Rock is no longer WWF champ. Not since Wrestlemania. Not since Stone Cold Steve Austin beat the Rock into oblivion and took his title. The Rock looked up and saw Vince and Austin shaking hands after being pinned. He'll admit that he and Austin have not always seen eye to eye. He was proud and impressed at his actions and deeds at Wrestlemania. He was more impressed with Raw. Austin granted The Rock a rematch for the WWF title. He says The Rock was once again beaten and battered by Stone Cold Steve Austin. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Vince raising the arms of Austin and Triple H. Why Austin, McMahon and Triple H together? Perhaps those questions will be answered tonight because he will be doing an interview with JR. We're shown a recap of Austin beating up The Rock and the arrival of Triple H on Raw. Vince tells the story as if Triple H was the night in shining armor. Triple H and Stone Cold collectively take out The Rock. Down with the Pedigree and the Stone Cold Stunner. Then the toast. That was a good little piece of business. Crowd chants Rocky. Vince asks if the crowd expects Rock to come out tonight. They expect The Rock to beat up Vince McMahon tonight? They expect The Rock to seek retaliation? It gives him great pleasure that The Rock will not be there tonight. If you're a Rock fan, they'll know why in a moment. If Rock was here tonight, the same thing will happen to him as what happenened on Monday night. Austin and Triple H would beat the Rock up again. He has indefinitely suspended The Rock from WWF action. He did it all in the interest of fairness. He thanks everyone and wishes them a nice day.

Vince is in the back and says to Austin that JR is intimidated. He says JR is special cause it's his home state. Austin says he's been a special person. Stephanie walks in and walks in with a tape with Linda. She says she's seen it and he's been having too good of a night to watch it. Vince tells her to put the tape in.

Linda says that she's no longer medicated. She's operating strongly as the CEO of the WWF. She's still using the name McMahon. After all Vince has done, she's really debating if she should make a change. The only McMahon standing tall is Shane. She is so proud that he was able to face Vince at Wrestlemania. She says she can't believe how great it felt kicking him in the gonads. She says she knows where she can kick and hurt her the most. She'll let him know in the ring on Monday. Mick Foley walks in with two grapefruits. Linda says Vince always says actions speak louder than words. Linda cuts the two grapefruits and Foley says owww. Linda says she'll see him on Monday. Vince looks down at his genitals worried.

JR's music hits and he enters to conduct the interview. He says it's always great to be around WWF fans, but it's great to be back home. Tonight he has an opportunity to talk to the new WWF champ Stone Cold Steve Austin. He thinks there are a lot of questions to be answered. Everyone deserves an answer. Without further adieu, he would like to introduce the new WWF champion.

Glass breaks and Austin walks out with the WWF title. Austin throws his belt in the ring and approaches JR. Austin does his salute on the corners to heel heat.

JR has a lot of things he'd like to talk about in private, but that is not possible. It's not about the two of them. There's a lot of things he should answer for everyone. Why has he aligned himself with Vince McMahon? In Austin's heart, he has despised more than anyone.

Austin says it's an insurance policy and asks how stupid JR is. He's Stone Cold Steve Austin. Chorus of boos. I said I'm Stone Cold Steve Austin. Chrous of boos. I said I'm Stone Cold Steve Austin and that's just...A chorus of boos. He just made the biggest comeback in the history of our business. A successful comeback. He tells JR to look at him. He says he won't go in without an insurance policy. Vince is his insurance and will continue to be so in the future.

JR asks if he feels any remorse for turning the back on the millions of fans who supported him. Rocky chants.

Austin doesn't appreciate the response he's gotten. He asks when has he ever asked he wanted to be everyone's hero. He asks when has JR ever heard him say that he wants to help people. He says DTA don't trust anybody. He doesn't feel any remorse for this town or anywhere in the damn world.

JR asks if it's his perogative. Austin asks if he's sassing him. Austin says he better not be sassing him. JR asks how he can align with Triple H. Austin asks if he's gonna talk about Triple H behind his back where he can't defend himself. He tells JR to shut the hole in his face while he talks. If Triple H was sick enough to try to put him out, wouldn't he want him on his side. If JR wants any more of that question, he would have to beat it out of him. He asks if he understands. Austin criticizes his stupid hat, his stupid glasses and his stupid belt. He says he looks like he just lost his best friend.

JR says he thinks he has. He says he was the only person from the WWF when he came out of surgery. He's the only one who talked to him. He says he called him up and told him not to give up and will be the WWF champ. The only people from the WWF he invited to his wedding was JR and his wife. He does feel like he lost his best friend.

Austin asks if he JR doesn't want to be his friend anymore. Austin knocks his hat off. Austin throws his glasses off. He says to take a swing. JR says the interview is over and goes to leave. Austin attacks him. Austin is stomping him.

Vince runs out and tells him to stop it. He reminds Austin that JR is his very best friend. He questions why Austin is taking it easy on him. He encourages Austin to open his best friend up. Austin beats up JR. JR is busted open. Officials make their way to the ring. Austin takes his belt off and chokes JR. Austin stomps JR while the officials try to get him to stop from the outside. Austin continues to stomp him. Austin picks up JR's legs and stomps him in the crotch.

Triple H and Stephanie are shown watching in the back. Triple H is laughing. Triple H and Stephanie leave their dressing room.

Paramedics are examining JR in the back.

Kurt Angle comes out and said that people in Boston are not used to winning championships. Then he makes fun of the Boston Red Socks. He said in this very arena, he won the King of teh Ring and he said he wants to win something again tonight. He challenged any champion to come out so he can beat him for the belt. Then, Kane's music hits.

The match starts on the outside and Kane tosses Angle in the ring, then Angle pushes Kane and his leg gets caught in the ropes and Angle starts kicking on Kane. Angle gets a trash can but Kane hits him. Kane picks him up and drops him on the safety rails. Kane suplexes him on the outside. Back in the ring, Angle tried going for the ankle lock, but Kane got out, then Angle hits Kane with a garbage can. Angle goes on the top rope, but Kane body slams him from the top. Big Show comes out and nails Kane and Angle covers, but Show pulls him off and headbutts him. Then they double team on Kane and Undertaker comes out and helps out Kane and they double chokeslam Big Show and Kane pins Big Show for the win.

Winner: Still Hardcore Champion, Kane

Vince McMahon is sitting backstage with Jim Ross. Vince tells Ross he wants him to go out there with a clear conscience and Stone Cold joins them. Vince tells Ross that they are there to entertain him and he said they will show him some movies.

The match starts with Crash doing an inside cradle and Rhyno kicks out. Then Rhyno does a spinebuster. Then Crash gets clothelined. Rhyno spears Spears Crash out of nowhere and gets the win. Molly jumps on Rhyno and Rhyno was about to spear her and Hardcore Holly comes out and makes the save.

Undertaker vs Big Show

The match starts with Undertaker punching Show. Then Big Show puts Taker in the corner and hits him, then Taker delivers a boot to the face and delivers a few right hands. Then Show sends Taker in the corner and squashes him. Then Show gets up on the second rope and punches Taker, then taker drops him on his back (Kinda like what he did to HHH at WM, but of course Show jumped) and gets the win.

Linda McMahon Segment

Linda McMahon comes out under the old Wrestlemania theme music. Linda thanks the fans and said she has 3 announcement.

She said she is back and healthy...and wishes Shane good luck with WCW. She said that since Vince likes to do stuff in public, she calls him out. Vince comes out and he wanted to hug her and she didn't let him. Vince takes a microphone and said that he knows that she came out here to apologize to him for what she did at Wrestlemania. Linda tells him to shut up. She said she is the one who will do the talking tonight. She said the last time they had a public chat in the ring was last December and they show the footage of when Vince yelled at Linda and told her he wanted a divorce. Vince said he was a little angry. Linda told him that he made her ill and he was furious that night. Then they show when Trish told Vince she needed a spanking, then they show Vince telling the doctor to double her medication and they show footage after footage. She tells him that he got his ass kicked at Wrestlemania by describing what happened...Vince apologizes to Linda. Then he goes on his knees and begs for her forgiveness. Linda said, she did not come here for an apology, She wants a divorce!

After a commercial. In the parking lot, Lita congratulates Linda and Linda gets in the limo and Vince tries to stop them but the limo left, then Vince confronts Lita and tells her that there will be a match tonight. Lita and the Hardyz vs Stephanie, HHH and Austin.

6 Man tag

Dudleyz and Spike vs X-Pac, Justin and Albert

The fight starts on the outside and then Buh Buh ray puts Justin in the ring and beats on him. Spike gets the tag and beats on Credible. SPike jumps on Albert and Albert catches him on the outside and runs him into the steel post. X-Pac gets the tag and beats on Spike. Credible gets the tag and they try to double team Spike, but Spike makes the tag to Devon. Running powerslam by Devon and gets a count of two on Credible. Then the Dudleyz attack Albert and they do the 3D on Justin and they get the win. After the match, they get the tables, but Albert attacks them and throws Spike on the outside and the Dudleyz clotheline Albert to the outside and they were about to do the 3D on X-Pac, but Justin pulls X-Pac out and Albert does the Albert bomb on Buh Buh through the table.

Winners: X-Pac, Justin Credible and Albert

HHH and Stephanie are talking to Vince backstage and telling him maybe it's not a great idea..them teaming up with Austin, then Vince is packing and leaving and said he has some family problems to settle and HHH and Stephanie still complained and Vince just left.

Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho

Special Referee: William Regal

Benoit pressures Jericho in the corner and regal breaks it up. Benoit knees Jericho and Jericho replies back with a flying clotheline. Both men exchange a few moves. Jericho does a double arm back breaker. Benoit does a suplex and covers, but regal wouldn't count. Regal gets dropped kicked by Jericho accidently because Benoit pushed him, then Regal hit both men and they got up and beat the hell out of Regal. Jericho does the Walls of Jericho and Benoit applied the crossface on Regal.

Both men start of by exchanging a few hits. Raven DDts Val and covers, but Richards pulls him out and Raven DDTs him and goes back and covers and Bull Buchanan pulls him out. Then Val does a fisherman suplex on Raven and Raven kicks out. Bull does a scissor kick and Val does the money shot and gets the win.

Austin, HHH and Stephanie vs Hardyz and Lita

The match starts with the Hardyz throwing HHH and Austin to the outside. Then, HHH faces Matt and Matt makes the tag and Jeff jumps on HHH. Austin gets the tag and Matt clothelines him to the outside. Jeff goes on the top rope and does a moonsault on HHH, then Austin pulls Jeff out. Then Matt beats on Austin in the ring. Austin puts a sleeper, then Matt suplexes him and goes on the top rope and does a leg drop. Jeff gets the tag and sends Austin to the ropes and Austin bounces back and does a spinebuster and Austin does a low blow and beats on Jeff. HHH gets the tag and he beats on Jeff. Jeff tries to fight back, but HHH trips him and makes the tag to Austin. Austin drives his knee on Jeff's face. HHH gets the tag and he continues to beat on Jeff. Then Jeff kicks HHH in back of the head, then HHH makes the tag and Austin holds him back. Then they both try to prevent him from making the tag, but he finally makes it and Matt comes in. Austin and Matt are fighting on the outside. Lita has Stephanie in the ring and she does the twist of faith, followed by the moonsault and they get the win. After the match, Austin grabs a chair, then HHH attacks Lita and beats her down and pedigrees her. Matt and Jeff try to make the save, but they get knocked down with the steel chair. Then Austin beats on Lita with the steel chair.. and Raw finishes.

The Rock as the champion, Jericho as the IC champion, Foley was the Commissioner and yet a few shorts weeks after Wrestlemania. Boy how things change. He listened to The Rock and Austin getting ready for Wrestlemania. He hears The Rock week after week talk about how the most dominant men in the WWF were gonna get it on. The Rock was making a very big mistake cause standing in the ring right now is the two most dominant men in the WWF today, in the past, and in the future. They will do what they want and no one can stop them. They wanted the WWF championship and they took it. They wanted to destroy The Rock and they did it. They wanted the IC title and they took it. And when somebody tried to stop them, someone dared stand in front of them, ask the Hardy Boyz what happened when you try to stop them. If you don't believe the Hardy Boyz then ask Lita. That's right, he forgot, everywhere he goes he hears the same thing. They went to far. The two of them crossed the line. It was too much they crossed the line. To hell with that. They will tell everyone when it's too much. They will tell when they cross the line. It will not be until they say so. He says Austin is that damn cold. He is that damn good. Together, they sure are that damn unstoppable.

Austin takes the mic. He shoves the camera man out of the way. Go ahead and get off your ass and give the new WWF champ a hell yeah. To make a long story shirt, complete mayhem, the same old meely mouth question. Why? Why? He rolled into Wrestlemania and layed into The Rock with everything he had. He did what he did to The Rock because he wanted to. There wasn't a single soul in the back that could stop him. So they role into Oklahoma City, Good Ol JR's home town. JR has made a damn good living off Austin. He imitates the Stone Cold Stone Cold Stone Cold. He beat him to a bloody pulp just like that river in Oklahoma. He did that because he could. He says it again slowly. He did it because he could and no one could stop it. The Hardy Boyz rolled up in the wrong place at the wrong time. You don't put a broad in the ring with Stone Cold. He beat up Matt Hardy with a chair. He walked around the ring and his stupid ass girlfriend got on top and thought that maybe he won't beat up Matt Hardy. He tells Lita that he layed it to her carcass with everything he had. That's the single best feeling he had running through his system in a long time. If she did it again, he would do the same thing again. Why? Because there ain't a single thing back there that can stop him or Triple H. There ain't one thing back there that can stop them. It could've been the jackasses in the crowd. He points out some people in the audience around the ring.

Jeff Hardy runs out. He nails Triple H with the chair. He nails Austin with a chair. Stephanie slaps him. Jeff gives Stephanie a Twist of Fate. Jeff runs out while Triple H runs after him. Austin is livid and kicks the ropes. Austin and Triple H are in the ring screaming for Jeff Hardy to come back.

We're shown a recap of Jeff Hardy ambushing Triple H, Austin and Stephanie.

William Regal is shown watching the footage. Triple H storms into his office and says he wants Jeff Hardy. No one does that to his wife. Regal says he'll take care of it, don't worry. Triple H leaves and says Hardy is a dead man.

Bombs away and Spike Dudley enters with Buh Buh Ray and D-Von.

Albert just starts screaming at Spike. Spike battles with right hands. Albert with an uppercut. Albert with more uppercuts in the corner. Albert with a big hip toss across the ring. Albert walks over Spike. Albert picks Spike up by the belt and drops him. Albert with a headbutt. Spike thrown into the corner. Spike spears Albert and phases him a little. Spike with a sunset flip. Albert tries to sit on him, but Spike moves. Spike with a drop kick. Spike goes up top. Albert hits the rope and crotches him. Albert goes up. Spike punches him off. Spike drops across Albert's stomach. Albert is unphased. Spike hits the Dudley Dog. Yes it's the Dudley Dog now, not the Acid Drop. Credible gets on the apron. X-Pac gets on the apron. Spike punches X-Pac and Credible off. Buh Buh Ray and D-Von go after X-Pac and Credible. Albert hits the bicycle kick on Spike. Albert with the cover and the victory.

Buh Buh Ray and D-Von sneak in the ring. Double side suplex on Albert. Buh Buh Ray grabs his legs while D-Von goes up top. Whaaazzzzzuuuupppp. Whaaaazzzzuuuuppppp. D-Von get the table! Buh Buh Ray goes to beat down Albert in the corner while D-Von goes to get the table. On the outside, D-Von sets up the table. X-Pac gives D-Von an X-Factor. Credible and X-Pac get in the ring and hit X marks the spot on Buh Buh Ray. X-Factor celebrate on the ring apron. Spike tries to pull himself up. Albert pulls him up on the ring apron and gives Spike an Albert Bomb through the table. X-Factor leaves.

Regal says that if he ever besmirches Stephanie again, he will never get another title shot. Jeff says he may not need another shot tonight cause he may be IC champ so it's a good deal.

Jeff leaves and Big Show enters. Big Show tells Jeff that Triple H is gonna squash him. Big Show wants to take Kane and Undertaker out. Regal says he can have them. Big Show says he needs help. Regal says he can pick a tag team out to help him. Big Show likes the idea and leaves...

Lillian is interviewing Crash. Crash says people have been trying to take him out for a long time. He says now that Hardcore is back, they may just have Edge and Christian tonight. He says Rhyno is no sweat. Rhyno shows up and gores him into the steel garage door and kicks him to the ground.

JR is shown in his dressing room and Debra walks in. She says she had nothing to do with it and she can't believe what Austin did. JR says he knows it's not her fault and he thought he knew Austin. Debra says she's just so confused. Austin bursts in and accuses JR of flirting with his wife. JR can't even look at him. Austin says to get out of his face. JR leaves. Austin tells Debra to get her bags cause they're leaving.

We're back and we're shown Austin dragging Debra out of the arena during the break.

A paramedic is attending to Stephanie. Triple H asks if she is alright. Stephanie says she's not okay and Jeff broke one of her expensive earrings. Triple H says he'll make Jeff Hardy pay tonight. Bradshaw says he probably weighs two and a half tons and he looks slimmer.

Big Show says ok and that he wants two egg rolls and some wonton soup. Big Show drags them to the ring.

Funaki attacks Kane. Kane just looks at him. Taka goes after his knee. Didn't work. Show clotheslines Kane. Kane sits up. Show pulls Funaki in the ring. Big Show runs to the ramp. Kane grabs Funaki's throat. Taka jumps off the top turnbuckle and Kane catches him by the throat on his other hand. Double chokeslam by Kane. Taker tells Kane to do the Last Ride. Kane gives Funaki a powerbomb. Taker says that's not the Last Ride. Taker shows Kane how to do it and gives Taka the Last Ride. Kane sets up Funaki again while Big Show is enraged on the ramp. Kane hits the Last Ride and gets the victory.

Vince says that it was one week ago, he was in this very ring and he was on he knees, begging for forgiveness and Linda tells him she wants a divorce. He said he would like to share his thoughts about marriage. He said that marriage should last forever and he does not believe that marriage should end in divorce. He said divorce should be illegal and half of the problems today are because of divorce. He said that he has to divide his assets. Vince said that he will not grant her a divorce and he will fight it and make sacrifices to make their marriage work. Then, Debra comes out.

She tells Vince that she does not believe a word he said. She told him that he has a negative influence on her husband. Vince said don't blame him, blame Austin. He said everything was not his idea. Vince said, "behind a great man, there is a great women" but he said he will make an exception to that in Austin's case. Then Debra slapped Vince and left.

Edge and Christian vs Crash and Hardcore Holly

Edge and Christian came out and they gave a paper to Paul Heyman.

Before the bell rang, Rhyno came in and speared Hardcore Holly. Christian beats on him and makes the tag to Edge. Hardcore fights back, but then Edge puts him in the corner and beats on him. Russian leg sweep by Edge. Christian gets the tag and does some kind of neck breaker, then tags Edge. Edge beats on him and makes the tag back to Christian. Christian attempts to piledrive him but Holly does a back body drop. Edge gets the tag. (Note: Paul Heyman was reading the paper Edge and Christian gave him) He said that they deserve to be in the hall of fame etc..he kept complimenting them. Then Crash Holly gets the tag and beats on Edge and Christian and does the bulldog on both. Then Edge spears him, then Molly goes on the top rope and jumps on Edge and Crash covers, but Edge kicks out. Crash goes on the top rope and does a cross body on Edge, then Edge reverses it and pins him while pulling the tights.

The match starts with Bubba throwing Justin everywhere. Bubba delivers a few punches. Bubba delivers an elbow to the face. X-Pac hits Bubba while the referee had his back turned. X-Pac and Albert double team Devon on the outside. In the ring, Credible is in control of the match. DDT on Bubba and Credible only gets a two count. Then Bubba does a Bubba drop and throws Justin to he ropes and does a back body drop. Sidewalks slam by Bubba. Bubba goes on the second rope and jumps, but Credible moves. Then Bubba does the Bubba cutter and covers, but Albert pulls out Credible. X-Pac does a super kick on Bubba and Justin covers, but Bubba kicks out. Then The Dudleyz double team Justin and they do the "whaazzuup" thing..and Bubba gets the win.

Then Big Show tells him that they go way back and they need to talk sometime because Big Show has some ideas.

Austin said "I got my ass kicked and you expect me to sit down and do nothing about it?" HHH tells him to calm down and trust him.

Hardcore Title

Kane vs Steven Richards

The match starts with Steven hitting Kane with a garbage can, but it took no affect on Kane. Then Kane beats on Richards beside the entrance ramp. Then the fight gets backstage and Kane is in control. Then, members of RTC attack Kane. Then Undertaker happens to drop by and he beats the hell out of them. Then Kane picks up Richards and throws him head first on a truck and pins him.

As soon as Kurt was about to talk, Jericho interrupts and comes out and he makes fun of Angle as usual.

The match starts with Jericho delivering a few right hands, then Angle does a shoulder tackle. Arm drag take down by Jericho. Angle does a back slide and only gets a two count. Angle kicks Jericho in the corner. Jericho replies back with a clothesline. Then Jericho does a spring board drop kick and Kurt goes flying to the outside. Baseball slide by Jericho. Angle gets dropped on the security rails. Then Angle grabs the ring bell and hits Jericho with it. Back in the ring, and Angle is in control. Angle does a suplex and covers but Jericho kicks out. Then Angle does a belly to belly overhead suplex. Angle does another kind of suplex and only gets a two count. Angle puts a sleeper hold. Then Angle tried to go for the ankle lock but Jericho gets the ropes. Then Jericho knocks down Angle. Angle tried to do the Angle slam, but Jericho got up on his feet and does a bulldog, then Angle walks away. Jericho catches up to him and beats him down, then Regal comes out and beats on Jericho and the referee calls for the bell. Then Jericho does the Walls of Jericho on Regal and then the Lionsault on Angle. But then they both get up and double team him. Chris Benoit comes out and beats on them. Benoit suplexes Angle on Regal.

Regal and Angle are still in the ring and Regal demands for a match against Chris Benoit right now. Then Benoit comes out with Chris Jericho and Jericho takes care of Angle. Regal was down and Benoit attempts to do a diving headbutt, but Regal moves. Regal took control of the match from there. Benoit did an inside cradle, but only got a two count. Benoit puts him in the corner and delivers a few chops. Benoit does two belly to back suplex, then Regal knocks him to the outside and Angle hit him and threw him in the ring, then Jericho hits Angle, then Benoit puts the Crippler's crossface and gets the win.

Billy Gunn and Test came out and the match starts, then a few seconds later Raven comes out and helps them clear up the ring. Then Test goes against Dean Malenko. Sidewalk slam by Test and kickout bu Malenko. Test clothelines him. Gunn gets the tag and so does Eddie. Gunn takes down Eddie. Saturn gets the tag and hits Gunn and makes the tag back to Malenko. Gunn does the famasser on Malenko, then Eddie takes down Billy Gunn and gets the tag from Malenko. Gunn gets sent to the outside and Saturn sends him into the steel steps. Eddie suplexes Gunn and makes the tag to Malenko. Malenko takes control and then tags Saturn. Saturn slams Gunn and covers but Gunn kicks out. Then Gunn slams Saturn and both men are down. Eddie gets the tag and Gunn makes the tag to Raven. Raven does the bulldog on Eddie. Test does the full Nelson on Saturn. Manlenko takes Test out. Then Malenko and Eddie double team Raven, then Raven DDTs Eddie and gets the win, while the others were on the outside.

HHH w/ Stephanie vs Jeff Hardy w/ Lita

The match starts with HHH knocking down Jeff. Then HHH beats on Jeff. Then Jeff kicks HHH in the face, but then HHH picks Jeff up and drops him. HHH does a suplex, then drops his knee on Jeff and covers, but Jeff kicks out. Then HHH tries to suplex him, but Jeff lands on his feet and tries to fight back, but HHH hits him and throws him to the outside. HHH goes to the outside and throws Jeff back in the ring. Hardy tries to fight back, but HHH knocks him down with a clotheline. HHH does an abdominal stretch and grabs the rope so he can add more power. Then, referee Earl Hebner kicks HHH's arm off the rope. Then Jeff does a jaw breaker and punches HHH in the mid-section. Then HHH does a face buster and covers, but Lita pulls him out. Then Lita goes after Steph, but HHH gets in the way. Then Jeff and HHH are fighting on the outside, then Jeff nails HHH with the belt. Jeff sends HHH into the steel steps. Back in the ring, Jeff goes on the top rope and does a drop kick and only gets a two count. HHH tries to do the pedigree, but Jeff counters and does a back slide. Jeff goes on the top rope and jumps, but HHH gets out of the way. HHH goes on the top rope and Jeff drop kicks him and does a hurricanrana on HHH. Jeff goeson the top and does a moonsault, but HHH moves out of the way again. Backstage, Austin attacks Matt Hardy with a steel chair. Lita sees what has happened and she was going backstage and Austin comes out and Lita is backing up. In the ring, HHH does the pedigree and gets the win. After the match, HHH and Austin beat on Jeff and Matt tries to help out Jeff, but they knock him down. Stephanie throws Lita in the ring and they were about to go after her and Undertaker and Kane come out. As soon as they entered the ring, HHH and Austin left.

Kane sets Regal's plant on fire. Regal says fine and he'll give them Triple H and Austin if they beat Edge and Christian. Taker lets him go. He says Regal is a smart man and he knew he'd see things his their way. Regal says the tag team title match will be a no disqualification match. Taker says damn right. Lillian is with Edge, Christian and Rhyno. Edge says controversy rules. Rhyno winning the Hardcore title is just a small portion of what's going on. He says they are big game hunters. Christian says they are also big game players. They've taken on big obstacles perhaps not as big as Undertaker and Kane, but they'll still walk out with the tag team championships. He says they have a plan that reeks of awesomeness. They say it's the plan. The three walk off.

He says he just continues to bury himself. He says mom found that speech very interesting and so did her attornies. He quotes something from his friend Mick Foley, "Have a nice day." He goes to leave.

Vince stops him and says just for the record he was talking about the sacredness of marriage. Vince says that Shane had something to say about Big Show. We're shown a recap of Shane and Big Show on Raw. Vince reminds him that Big Show is under contract to him. Rather than having some private conversation, why not bring it all out in public. He says he buzzed Big Show earlier. He calls Big Show to the ring. He says don't make him have to come back there.

Weeeeelllll. Well it's the Big Show. The Big Show enters the arena and makes his way to the ring. He shakes hands with Shane.

Vince asks Show what he was attempting to do by asking Shane to watch his match Monday night? He wanted to impress Shane? Even he has to admit that Big Show is the single biggest disappointment to this business. Shane says to stop. Vince says Shane wants him in WCW. He congratulates Shane about getting his first WWF superstar to WCW. He congratulates Big Show and says when he gets down there, he'll give him one of his pep talks. Vince shows him a year ago when Shane called him pathetic after Shonan The Barbarian. He then shows him a still of Shane breaking a cinder block on his head at Judgement Day. Vince shows the footage of Shane's "Which way did he go?" Vince shows more footage of "Which way did he go?" in different times. He asks where Show will go. Will he go with Shane to WCW. He says Show still has potential to be the meanest WWF champion ever. He can do it in the WWF. He says it's a moment of decision. Which way did he go?

Shane asks Vince what he's trying to pull.Vince tells him to shut up.Shane says he's not trying to recruit the Big Show.Vince tells him to shut up. Make your choice Big Show. He asks which way Big Show will go.

Big Show grabs Vince's throat. He pushes Vince a bit and lets go so he can grab Shane's throat. Chokeslam to Shane. Vince says it will be the last man standing between Shane and the Big Show at Backlash.

English horns hit and William Regal enters with Kurt Angle. Once again I grace you wonderful people with my presence. Ten days until Backlash and don't think for one minute Chris Jericho that you'll have it easy. He'll face Regal in a Dutchess of Queensby rules match. He says he'll explain the rules in due time. He says Benoit will face his good friend Kurt Angle in a 30 minute submissions match at Backlash. The one with the most submissions wins the match. He says let the tables match begin.

Kurt is shown talking to someone in his dressing room. He says don't come out until he tells him to. They're gonna teach Chris Benoit about the 3 I's. Kurt shuts his dressing room door and makes his way to the ring.

Medal hits and Kurt Angle comes out to the ring. We're shown a recap of Kurt screwing Benoit in the table match. People, I've been beating opponents my whole entire life. It's what I do. As the kids say, it's my thang. I've defeated many opponents by pinfall and it's great. But sometimes it leaves me a little empty inside because all I'm basically doing is pinning their shoulders to the mat for the 1-2-3. He talks about how there's no better feeling when he makes someone submit. That's why he went to Commissioner Regal to demand the ultimate submission. 30 minutes of torture for Benoit. 30 minutes of Benoit to teach him the 3 I's. 30 minutes of who can make the other man tap out the most wins. He's gonna make Benoit squeal over and over and over again. He can tell by the cocked heads and blank expressions that some of the crowd aren't understanding it. He will make it so that everyone understands. He calls out three locals. He will place himself in the ring and they will have the opportunity to make him submit. He tells Benoit that he can multiply this by 50.

Kurt gets down on all fours for some mat wrestling. First guy goes for him. Kurt rolls him into an ankle lock. Tap out. Kurt gets down on all fours again. Third guy is about to go after him. Benoit runs to the ring. Benoit throws the guy out of the ring. He locks in the Crippler Crossface on Kurt. Kurt taps. Benoit leaves.

Taker knocks down Rhyno and Edge. Kane hits a sidewalk slam on Christian. On the outside Taker decks Edge. Kane with right hands to Christian. Kane steps on Christian's face in the corner. Kane misses a right hand. Christian with right hands. Christian goes to the middle rope for more punches. Kane pushes him off. Kane decks Edge on the ring apron. Kane with a running powerslam. Kane hip tosses Edge into the ring. Kane boots Edge. Rhyno distracts Kane. Christian runs for Kane. Kane flips him out. Taker goes after Christian. Rhyno comes into the ring and Gores Kane. Taker drops Christian on the announce table. Edge drives his knee into Kane's arm. Kane struggles to his corner while Edge stops him. Edge with right hands. Arm bar on Kane's left arm. Kane coming back with right hands. Edge with a boot to the stomach and does flying armbar. Cover. Taker breaks it up. Taker intimidates the ref. Tag to Christian. Christian driving his knee into Kane's arm. Christian with a short arm scissors on Kane. Kane rolls himself backwards. Christian still has a short arm scissors. Kane picks him up and turns it into a suplex. Edge distracts the ref. Tag to Taker. Ref keeps Taker out. Edge with stomps to Kane. Cover. 2 o****. Kane battles back with right hands. Edge gets swung into the corner. Kane with a side suplex. Christian tries to come in. Kane clotheslines him. Edge goes to grab him. Kane hits an upper cut. Tag to Taker. Chokeslam to Rhyno on the ramp. Triple H and Austin run out and attack Kane. They beat on him with whips. Edge and Christian go for the Con-chair-to on Taker. Taker ducks. Taker decks Edge. Taker hits the Last Ride on Christian. Taker covers for the 3 count and the tag team championships.
