A Crack In The Stone

http://i.imgur.com/B2rVBEe.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/osFSBpZ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ZJ7XUUA.jpg

I hated waking up early, but Jeremy called me for something. All I know is that I'm driving myself up to his house during this cold, godforsaken snow storm to get to him. Soon enough I'll be standing in front of the legendary House of Stone, the training grounds for many stars, like the Stones themselves. The place had the history of being very Spartan like. No air conditioning, mats harder than the floor they were on, sweat and blood covered towels, and just a very intense experience overall.

But as I enter the House, it's very hard to tell that there is a dungeon below where poor souls are trapped and forced into labor. Or something like that. I'm sure Junior is probably just as brutal as his father was. It isn't hard to see that Jeremy's successful career was a result of the House. He'll deny that and just say NOTBPW alone was enough for him to become the legendary wrestler he is, but I think he's just humble and is trying to say that anyone can become the next Jeremy Stone as long as you put some hard work into it and eat your corn flakes every morning.

The House is pretty lively. Just about everyone from the Stone family is up in the living, with the exception of Junior and of course Edd. Dan and son still keep that beef with poor Edd, but that's their business, not mine. I've always liked the atmosphere of this place, Christmas was no exception, but I guess these guys are my second family. Or, that's what I like to think anyways. I went around the house, shaking hands and smiling, talking small talk, wrestling, and everything else.

As the night died down, I still was waiting for Jeremy to talk business with me. The Stone-McFlys were chatting it up with Tamara and Dan Sr. while David had gone down into the basement to meet with his father. I talked with Duane for the time being as Jeremy had seemingly disappeared. The majority of our conversation was about Edd and the Dans. It felt awkward, but I know the majority of the Stone family has already forgiven Edd and misses their little trouble making brother. We never got to finish our conversation as Jeremy came out of his office and called me in.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I've been wrestling for 21 years. I've talked contracts, gimmicks, pushes, de-pushes, title shots, matches, and everything for nearly 21 years. And yet, I still get nervous when the boss calls me in. He could have wanted to talk about anything, from asking me to step down, to telling me I'm doing a wonderful job and I get a Christmas bonus. Though, deep down, I did have a weird feeling in my stomach, not from feeling nervous or anxious, but a sense I hadn't felt in a long time. Anger.

And sure enough, as I opened that office door...

"Hey big brother."

My blood boiled as I turned sharply to Jeremy, "Is this some kind of joke? You have some some balls, Jeremy!"

Jeremy did his best to try and calm me down, "Listen! Listen! Just sit down and let me speak."

I fumbled for a chair, my eyes locked onto Alex, red was all I could see. The silence in the room was broken by Jeremy, "I know you guys have issues, but I'm not here to act like Dr. Phil and reconnect you two. I'm not here to talk personal, I'm here to talk business."

"Personal? You brought in my brother! This is nothing, but personal!"

"I know, Steve, I know, but just try to think here, okay? I've been talking with Alex for the past few months and we've both agreed that with me taking charge of the company, we bury the hatchet between our companies. We can start a talent trade and it'll be great for both of us! You'll get to see your dad and brothers more often."

"Come on, Steve, don't be so stubborn."

I don't remember what happened next, but I do remember being held back by Sean and Junior as Jeremy was on his knee, helping Alex, who was covering his eye, back up.

"You want something good for business?!" I screamed at Jeremy, "I quit!"

There was a collective gasp around the office, Dan and Sean let go of their grip on me in shock as I head toward the front door. Victoria, Dan Sr., and Jeremy were calling and begging for me to stay. I had other plans in mind. Controversy is a great thing to make a profit out of and I had just the right phone numbers for this.

The day after Christmas and no one knows that I've left NOTBPW besides the Stones and McFlys. No dirt sheet, no professional site, and sure as hell not the company site. The only thing they've announced is a new friendship between them and CGC. I try not to browse these sites much anyways, they're all filled with pure crap. "Jim Force telling people not to buy his merchandise, part of Sam Strong brainwashing", "Remo starring in 'Jesus Christ Superstar 2: This Time...It's Personal'", and...wait...what..

TEW.com - Exclusive! Footage of SWF backstage fight!

http://i.imgur.com/cnV38ht.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/MMJ2ksV.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/RnPAglv.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/rhBdTWP.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/KaYOWfG.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Hf74Psn.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ImGQR49.jpg

Pretty boy Eisen, his dad, and Faith getting into a fight? Interesting. I moved my cursor over to the video and clicked it

The footage starts with big man Christian Faith towering over Richard and Eric Eisen, featuring Peter Michael behind them.

Faith, seeming to forget Richard and him were best friends, grabs Eisen's suit tie and pulls him close, screaming in his face, "I'm not doing this!"

Peter and Eric both rush in, trying to pull Richard away, Peter chimes in, "We're doing this for the both of you! Not just Eric!"

Faith finally lets go of Richard's tie, sending him backwards into his son. Eric helps his father get balanced and walks right up to the legend, "You're forgetting who made you! This family did! Eisen! Without my father, you'd be nothing!"

By now, a small crowd had gathered around the whole crew, consisting of various backstage workers and wrestlers trying to hold back both parties. Christian, ignoring the smaller Eisen, kept his focus on Richard, "I've been here for nearly 20 years! And this is how you're going to send me out?! A f**king cheap finish to your little spoiled, weasel of a son!? You've done a lot of stupid s**t in your lifetime, Rich. Signing that steroid junkie Scott, keeping DuBois employed and not sending him to rehab, and forcing Michaels into pushing your kid to the top! You've been pissed at me ever since I couldn't bring in that brat, Jay Chord!"

Another figure steps forward along side of Christian Faith. Jack Bruce, 4-time SWF Heavyweight champ, appeared to be the mediator, but spat his own hate toward Eisen, "First you let Marat go off the hook after he nearly broke my neck, end the hottest feud this company will ever have between Paul and me. Now what am I doing? Nothing! You know I sure as hell don't have a problem losing matches to the younger guys around here, but at least let me put on a show. This people come here for wrestling and they want that, they don't want to see some 'legend in the making' Eric Eisen beat the real legend, Christian Faith, in some flash roll up at When Hell Freezes Over!"

Last, but not least, Rogue, formerly known as Jack Giedroyc, walks next to Bruce, who has taken him under his wing as of late. The two legends and rising star stood in front of the Eisens and Michaels as the rest of the locker room watched on. Peter and Eric were now trying to calm down Richard, but he wasn't having it as he rushed up toward the trio, "You think you have the right to complain? I've been under every single microscope in the world, you don't even know what it's like to start at the bottom, you've all been given an easy ride! I thought you were better than this, Faith, but I guess not. And as for you, Giedroyc, you were on track to go to the top, but that won't matter now, you know why? Because you're all fired!"

Peter rushed behind Richard and told the trio, "No! No! You're not! Just listen, hear us out!" But his words just echoed in the silent locker room as Faith and his new crew had already turned around, packing their bags, and walking out. Richard's face was a burning red as he looked around the room, everyone had their eyes fixed on him. "If any of you even try to contact them, you're fired too!" Eric took his dad by the arm and ushered him out of the screen as Peter Michaels stood in the middle of the room, looking down at the floor in shock. The footage cuts off.

Ballsy move. I know the rest of the locker room is going to be buzzing after this. Richard is losing his grip on his company and losing touch with the wrestlers. I wonder where they'll end up though. I know Tommy sure as hell won't want Jack back and I know Christian is too old to survive in one of the younger companies, with the exception of USPW. I guess Christian can finally retire and help perfect Matty, but I don't think he's quite ready to give it up. Rogue is the only one who still has a shot in the business. Though, walking out of SWF? That takes a lot of balls and I'm sure once news hits that I've left the Stones, the wrestling world is going to erupt.

I have an idea.

A New Order in the World?

http://i.imgur.com/ZJ7XUUA.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/KaYOWfG.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/Hf74Psn.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/ImGQR49.jpg

24 hours away from NOTBPW Championship Wrestling and no one knows that I've left. On the other hand, every single wrestling website knew who had left and they were on fire. The SWF fight video had gone viral and everyone has seen it, whether they're wrestling fans or not. Richard Eisen was threatening to press charges against Christian Faith for assaulting him, but he was too afraid of Faith letting out any secrets and backstage incidents to the press. Faith wouldn't do that, but the same thing couldn't be said for Jack and Jack. A lot of speculation went around on the forums and messages boards of the pro wrestling world, where would Rogue end up? Will Christian Faith take over USPW? Will Tommy and TCW accept Bruce back?

I had other plans. I pulled a few strings here and there to make some progress for my ultimate plan. I sat in my hotel room, laptop and cell phone by my side. I got a hold of my old CGC buddy, Chris Morrisette, better known as SWF's "Lobster Warrior" and probably the best thing SWF has, but isn't using.

"What's up, Steve?"

"Chris, I need Faith's phone number."

Silence. That's what I expected as Chris's voice hushed up, "You know I can get fired for this?"

"Yeah, yeah, okay, whatever, Chris, they're not using you correctly anyways."

"Yeah, well...okay, but that's for another time. Eisen has put a pretty strict ban on anything related to those three. Giving you his number is no big deal, but if he finds out that I gave you his number, I'll be working in Australia as "The Sea Urchin" for about five whatever dollars in Australia a show."

"Chris, trust me on this, if they manage to find out, and they won't, I've got a back-up plan for you."

"...Alright, man."

Keeping it short and wasting no time, I got on the phone with the American legend, Christian Faith. We talked for about two hours straight, just about Richard Eisen and SWF. Richard might own the company, but Faith was the one everyone looked up to, the one everyone could trust, and the one who truly had control. I used the last bonus I had from Winter War to buy Faith, Bruce, and Rogue a plane ticket to come join me in Canada.

Rogue is the only one who has lived outside of the US, however, he's only worked in the US. Bruce and Rogue are the only ones who have really been under pressure to perform in the ring and not only on the microphone. The few tapes I had from CGC and NOTBPW stored on my laptop were an eye opener to the trio. "The Canadian Wrestling Machine", Jeremy Stone against "The Submission Demon", Johnny Bloodstone in a 60 minute submission only iron man match. "The Black Cobra" Duane Stone taking on yours truly in a last man standing match. "The Biggest Dick In The Universe" Alex DeColt fighting Dan DaLay in a 30 minute blood bath for the CGC World Championship. They weren't strangers to pure wrestling matches, but the big boys in Canada were offering something SWF wasn't.

Faith looked at me across the table and just said, "I can't do that." Jack nodded in agreement as Rogue just kept silent. "Hey," I said to Faith, "I'm not saying you have to do that every single night or at all. I've got some plans. You're the only three outside of NOTBPW and CGC who know that I left. I have an idea that will shake the industry. We're all veterans here...well, almost all of us. We're getting old, there's no doubt to that, however, we all share the same common interest. We all love wrestling. I'm not asking you guys to do any matches where you'll do a suplex off a ladder through a table covered in barbwire or asking you to do a match where you have to see how hard you can kick each other in the face. I'm just asking to give the people what they want, to give the people one last run with us, and to give the people wrestling."

Rogue was the first to speak up, "I'm in." Jack followed. Jack and Jack turned toward Faith as I did the same. He looked down at the table as he ran his hands through his hair, running his hands across the wrinkles that were mapped on his forehead. He sat in silence until he looked back up at me, "I'm in, but, if we're going to do this, I've got a plan of my own. Something I wanted to do in SWF for a long time, but Rich was too stubborn. Boys, let's give'em hell."

I had one final phone call to make. 2 hours away from Championship Wrestling.

4C Championship Match

Escape Only Steel Cage Match

Antonio Del Veccio © vs. Sayeed Ali

Terry Smith: "For nearly 20, count'em, 20 minutes, these two men have been in this cage, tearing each other apart!"

Ted Ross: "Right you are, Terry, and Ali is climbing the cage right now! He's gonna win it! That loser Del Veccio lost his girl and now, he's gonna lose this match!"

Smith: "I don't know, Teddy, Antonio is back on his feet!"

The champion climbs the cage, surprising Sayeed on the wall. The two begin to brawl back and forth with solid punches. Del Veccio hits Ali with a huge hook, putting him in a deep daze. The crowd roars as Antonio wraps his arm around Sayeed's neck and falls back for the Italian DDT (Inverted DDT). The two men lay on the ground, staring up at the ceiling. 4C Official Andy Gordy stands in the middle of the carnage, just as shocked as everyone in attendance, and having no clue what to do.

Ross: "Oh! My! God!"

Smith: "Are they dead?! They're dead!"

The crowd bangs their palms on the metal railings that create the border between them and the ring. The majority of the crowd cheers for Antonio while there are a few hold outs cheering for Sayeed Ali. By some unknown power, Antonio has managed to stand up on his feet with the help of the ropes. He slowly begins to climb the wall that is now stained with the blood of each men, joining the blood that covered the ring from the previous hardcore title match. As his hand grabs onto the top of the steel cage, the crowd erupts in excitement as Ali is still laying on the mat. The champion now stands at the top of the cage, climbing down in victory.

Ross: "No! No! NO!"

Smith: "Well folks, there you have it! Your winner and STILL 4C Champion, Antonio Del Veccio!"

Ross: "No...he cheated!"

Smith: "Haha, maybe so partner, but that doesn't matter as he is grabbing what belongs to h-WAIT A SECOND, WHAT IS THAT?!"

A thunderous guitar rift plays over the small building as four towering figures emerge from the shadows

http://i.imgur.com/ZflYboE.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/jrQZbc0.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/RGEXr3C.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/tO6LSWS.jpg

Four men walk down the ramp as Antonio, Andy, Terry, Ted, and the crowd look on in complete shock. Christian Faith leads the pack as he stops in front of Antonio, who is now holding the title he successfully defended. Faith smiles and pats the champ's shoulder, pretending to wipe the dust off of his championship, and congratulating him. Jack Giedroyc walks up to Del Veccio and holds his hand out, offering the champ a handshake. Antonio, clueless like everyone else, shakes the ex-SWF star's hand and holds it high in victory.

Smith: "I thought Steve DeColt was in NOTBPW!"

Ross: "An even better statement, what is he doing with the likes of Christian Faith and Jack Bruce?! What are they even doing here?!"

Jack Bruce the back of Antonio and keeps walking toward the announcer's table, taking a microphone, and requesting that Andy open up the cell door. The referee opens the cage door and allows Bruce into the ring. Steve DeColt is the last one to congratulate the champion. As Antonio begins to walk away, Giedroyc keeps his grip on Antonio's arm, allowing DeColt to charge with the devastating DeColt Roar (Rolling Elbow), knocking the champion out cold as Faith picks up the title from the fallen champ. The three are met with hate from the crowd as they join Bruce in the ring. The cage is being lifted as the referee helps Sayeed out of the ring as Bruce watches on in disgust.

"Hello Canada! Hello Canadian Charisma Championship Combat! I am Jack Bruce and with me, I bring a few of my friends. Steve DeColt, Jack Giedroyc, and well, I don't think this big guy needs an introduction, but let's give him a warm welcome anyways...Christian...Faith!"

A collective laugh between the four is let out as Bruce passes the microphone down to Faith. "Everyone please take a second to calm down and realize what you're seeing now is the greatest ensemble of professional wrestlers. We've played for the big boys of the wrestling world and quite frankly...we're sick of them. We see punks like Antonio get pampered and babied by the executives who haven't worked out a day in their life, we watch them rise to stardom while we're struggling to collect a paycheck. No one cares about an underdog, no one cares about a brat with a silver spoon turned into a star, and most importantly, no one cares about a promotion that has turned into a soap opera."

Smith: "Do...do you think he means?"

Ross: "I think I have a few ideas who and what he's talking about."

DeColt takes hold of the mic and begins to walk around the ring, "Oh, man...I feel like I should be somewhere. Giedroyc...do you know?" Jack smiles and shrugs, shaking his head no. "Hm...weird. I feel like I should be working for someone who tried to screw me over. Someone who tried to use my own flesh and blood as leverage to work out some agreement just for some revenue. Though, I don't think I'd work for someone like that, I mean, after all, that'd be like throwing a stone right into a glass window. Wait...stone...stone...hmm, I guess it must not be that important."

"But the reason we're here is very important. This is our first stop in world domination if you will. We will be the kings of wrestling and we won't be alone." On his last word, Steve drops the microphone and the whole crew makes their exit, mocking and taunting fans on their way out.

Ross: "What the fuc-"

Smith: "And that's all the time we have for tonight folks! Join Ted Ross and myself next month for X Factor as we...I don't know what to say really.."

Before cutting to black, the cameras focus on one last image. The four men raising their hands up high on top of the ramp, holding the 4C Championship title high above them.

Thanks to everyone who has predicted so far, I'm loving it. The show is finished and I'll post it by the time I wake up tomorrow, so this is your last chance to get in any predictions.

On a side note, I'm absolutely loving this story. I think I found a format I can really work with and I hope I can take this dynasty as far as I can or until someone in The Pack retires.

Smith:: "Haha, sure you are, partner. Last month, we all saw the excellent cage match between current champion Antonio Del Veccio and Sayeed Ali, but I think it's fair to say the aftermath was a bit more interesting."

Ross: "I'll agree with you on that, Terry. We saw...well...we saw a lot. Christian Faith, Jack Bruce, Steve DeColt, and Jack Giedroyc came out as friends of Antonio, but then crushed that loser! Haha!"

Smith: "I don't think you can call a champion a loser, Teddy, but nonetheless, Faith's group sure had an interesting message to broadcast. Save professional wrestling and kill the soap opera entertainment. While I don't agree with their actions, I have to say, they have some good points."

Ross: "Oh, don't be such a suck-up."

Smith: "Anyways...will we hear from the group calling themselves, 'The Pack" tonight? Or will we actually be in peace? Either way, let's get this show on the road."

Nigel Svensson vs. Nathaniel Ca$ino

  • Nathaniel started the match off with a vicious clothesline
  • For the majroity of the match, Nigel was on the defense
  • Nigel's highlight was countering the Hard Eight into...
  • A brutal Hyperextension Arm Lock that forced Ca$ino to tap out

Winner:Nigel Svensson via submission (Hyperextension Arm Lock)

Time: 6:39

Rating: 30

Other notes:

Smith: "Talk about a comeback! What was your opinion on that match, Teddy?"

Ross: "Well, clearly, Nigel cheated."

Smith: "I won't get into the details of your logic, so, let's just welcome on the next match."

Bailey & Flynn vs. Acid Pain

  • Flynn and Acid started the match off
  • Chris managed to lock down Acid and Chucky on his own
  • Once Bailey was tagged in, Acid II leveled him with an Acid Rain Bomb
  • The pace of the match slowed after TJ broke out of the pin
  • TJ hit Flynn with the hot tag and "The Graduate" locked on his Flynn Lock (Crossface)
  • Chucky crawled for his partner, but it was too late as he tapped

Winner:Bailey & Flynn via submission (Flynn Lock)

Time: 7:52

Rating: 32

Other notes: Acid II and Chucky's debut

Ross: "Another submission? Good god, technical is so 1980. I mean, come on!"

Smith: "You're just mad that Acid lost, aren't you, Ross?"

Ross: "I hate you."

Smith: "Now that question is, will Flynn be able to compete in the Hardcore Championship match?"

Ross: "I don't care. Shut up."

Clutch McKane vs. Leftie Wilkes

  • Leftie started off the match by taunting and flirting with Clutch's manager
  • Clutch tried getting some form of advantage, but Leftie decked him
  • Most of the match was fairly even, neither party getting an upper edge
  • The match came to an end with Leftie connecting with a German suplex followed by a Boston Whiplash ([450° Splash)
  • After the match, Leftie continued flirting with Katie Cameron in which Clutch, angry, devastated Leftie with a Pedal To The Medal (Running single leg high knee)

Winner: Leftie Wilkes via pinfall (Boston Whiplash)

Time: 6:13

Rating: 29

Other notes:

Smith: "Whoa! I don't think Clutch took Leftie's flirting too kindly."

Ross: "That's an understatement. The man, the winner, was just trying to get some game on, and boom! Talk about a sore loser."

Eric Blackley vs. Lightning Lomas

  • The match started early with Blackley getting a cheap shot on Lomas
  • Using the win from last month as momentum, Lomas took control of the match
  • Eric tried using some cheap tactics to get back into the match, but never could
  • The only thing going for Blackley was him constantly breaking out of pins
  • But that only lasted so long as Lightning struck Eric with an Exploder

Winner: Lightning Lomas via pinfall (Exploder)

Time: 7:30

Rating: 30

Other notes:

Smith: "And that goes to show ya kids, you can't always win by cheating."

Ross: "HAHA! Okay, Terry. It's not 'cheating', it's just the tactics of a champion with your natural abilities!"

Smith: "I dunno about that, Teddy. It seems like when you hit someone below the belt, that just doesn't seem like a champion tactic."

Ross: "Oh yeah? And what would you know?"

Smith: "I can't argue with you. Let's focus on this next match, Chris Flynn, who was already featured in a match, taking on current Hardcore champ, Hugh de Aske."

Ross: "Flynn is an idiot! He accepted not one, but two matches! Just for a chance at a title? Everyone knows he is no match for Hugh."

4C Hardcore Championship Match

Hugh de Aske © vs. Chris Flynn

  • Despite being in a match earlier, Flynn was ready for this contest
  • Hugh wasted no time in defending his title, as he wrecked Flynn with a chair early on
  • Flynn struggled for an offense during most of the match
  • It appeared as if the finale of the match was set after Hugh set Chris up for a suplex through a table
  • Using what little strength he had left, Chris reversed the suplex, and sent de Aske through the table
  • Fatigued from it all, "The Graduate" fell on top of the champ for the 3 count
  • His troubles weren't over as Acid II came down to the ring
  • Acid took the belt out of the referee's hands and leveled Flynn with it

Winner: Chris Flynn via pinfall (Single hooked leg pinfall)

Time: 10:55

Rating: 39

Other notes: Chris Flynn becomes Hardcore Champion for the first time.

Ross: "Yeah! That's what I'm talking about! Kick his ass, Acid!"

Smith: "Oh, come on! The man just won two matches by himself and is the new Hardcore Champion! Acid is just a sore loser."

Ross: "Haha, congrats, champ!"

Smith: "At least Andy is helping up Flynn and taking him to the back as we prepare for the #1 contender match."

#1 Contender Match

Davis Wayne Newton vs. Too Hot

  • Too Hot started the match off with an impressive set of dance moves
  • Newton wasn't too entertained
  • Coming off his loss last month, Too Hot gave Davis his all
  • The match was very back and forth with a lot of close calls
  • Even after a Fisherman's Suplex from Newton on Hot wasn't enough to end the match
  • Tired, but still fighting, Too Hot still took time to hit some funky dance moves
  • The less funky Newton hit a second Fisherman's Suplex
  • Breaking out of the pin, DWN finally had enough and locked in his STF
  • The crowd cheered for Too Hot to grab onto the ropes, but he regrettably tapped

Winner: Davis Wayne Newton via submission (STF)

Time: 16:08

Rating: 46

Other notes: Davis Wayne Newton becomes #1 Contender

Ross: "Try those dance moves out sometime, Too Hot! What a joke! I look forward to seeing Davis Wayne Newton destroy either Jett or Del Veccio."

Smith: "Well, I can't comment on Too Hot's dancing, but Newton played a fair game. I think regardless of who wins the main event tonight, it should make for a great match next month."

Ross:" I'll take your words for that one, Terry. I don't see either one of them holding a candle to Davis."

Smith: "Uhhuh. Speaking of the main event, let's not waste anytime, and let's watch!"

4C Championship Match

Antonio Del Veccio © vs. Jacob Jett

The champion, Antonio Del Veccio makes his entrance with

playing behind him. The 28 year old happily makes his way down the ramp, high-fiving the fans on the way. He climbs into the ring and looks down at his belt, giving it a kiss as he hands it over to the official, Andy Gordy. Antonio paces back and forth, his eyes completely focused on the entrance ramp

"Them Bones" by Alice In Chains blares out as the crowd cheers for "The Amazing" Jacob Jett. He comes out from behind the curtains and poses at the top of the entrance ramp as he makes a straight line toward the ring. He climbs up the ring apron and hops over the top rope, never losing eye contact with Del Veccio. Getting cocky, Jacob steps up to Antonio, causing the two to spit words back and forth until Gordy can separate the two. The men shake hands and each travel their respective corners

Smith: "These guys have had a month to prepare for each other. We have Jacob Jett who has earned the nickname 'Amazing' for a very good reason. His speed could come in handy in this match. Your thoughts, partner?"

Ross: "They both suck. But if I had to pick, I'd give an edge to Del Veccio. It's not everyday that you get to witness someone trained by the legendary Rip Chord. That plus his extra two years of experience, I dunno if Jett will pull out of this match the champ."

As soon as the bell rings, the two men greet each other in a lockup. With a stalemate early on, Antonio uses his vintage Italian boxing to work on Jett's body and send him fumbling into the corner ring post. He proceeds to back up to the center of the ring, almost taunting Jett to come land a free hit. In which, Jacob does, hitting Del Veccio with a fast clothesline, taking the champ to the ground. Back on his feet, Antonio gets in a second lockup with the challenger. The result of this lockup changes as Del Veccio lifts Jett up for a snap suplex. Just like the champ, Jett hops back up on his feet as half of the crowd cheers. The two men begin to pace around the ring as the crowd gets louder, trying to decide which one of these men they want to come out champion.

Ross: "I could be wrong, Terry. Jett's speed could be his upside in this match."

Smith: "I think you could be right, Ross, but I think it's just too early to tell. Both of these guys have a ton of energy left in the tank, but we'll see how long that lasts."

As time passes by, Jett manages to get the upper hand on Antonio, connecting with a vicious Jett Engine (Cutter) seemingly out of nowhere. Covering the champ, Andy only counted two after a tense moment. Jett, becoming upset, picks Antonio up for a second Jett Engine, but the champ turns Jacob around for an Italian DDT (Inverted DDT). With a possible victory ahead, Antonio picks his opponent up one more time to pay respects to his trainer, Rip Chord, with a classic DDT to drop Jett. Following two DDTs, Antonio dropped down onto Jett.

KICKOUT!

Ross: "Just give up!"

Smith: "Talk about some strength! Two DDTs! There's no way Jacob should have any gas leftover to break out of TWO! Let alone one!"

Ross: "I guess we're gonna see who really wants this title more!"

When the 18 minute mark hits, we find Jett up on the top rope, landing punch after punch on Del Veccio. Jacob hopped off and began setting the champion up on the corner. With the crowd anticipating the next move, Jacob spent little time lifting off the mat, connecting with a Jett Take Off (Frankensteiner). A quick pinfall on top of Antonio only made it to the two count. This didn't take away from Jett's momentum as he climbed the ring post, looking down on his wounded prey. Making a quick prayer to God, Jacob waved to the crowd, and leap off with an Emergency Landing (Shooting star press) onto Antonio Del Veccio.

"ALRIGHT NOW!"

Everyone comes to a dead halt as The Pack comes into view. Jett, furious, jumps to his feet, screaming as he presses against the ropes. Giedroyc leads The Pack with a microphone in hand

Smith: "JUST FINISH THE MATCH JETT!"

Jack Giedroyc: "I truly apologize to everyone in attendance for having to watch this...hell, I don't know what you'd call this mess. Wrestling? Maybe. Even that'd be a stretch. You foolish idiots actually paid money to see these two chums? Ha! We'll show you how it's done."

Dropping the mic, The Pack makes a rush toward the ring, but come to a stop as Jett props himself to launch off the rope. While he had a springboard hurricanrana in mind, he only found himself being held on by Christian Faith. Displaying his size and power advantage over Jett, Faith carried the smaller man around the ring in a powerbomb position. Jack Bruce ran up behind him and started to dislocate one of the steel barriers from the barricade. Steve DeColt acted as an enforcer to Bruce as he kept the fans at bay while Bruce laid down the steel barrier on it's side. Giedroyc led the assault and gave Faith the go ahead for the Test Of Faith (Jackknife powerbomb), throwing Jacob Jett right onto the cold, hard steel.

By this time, Andy Gordy has already called a no contest as he makes his way out of the mayhem. Faith steps into the ring as a dazed Del Veccio struggles to his feet. He stumbles backwards right into Faith and gets set up with a Test Of Faith. Having laid out the champion and the challenger, The Pack steps into the ring, standing over Del Veccio as Bruce hoists the 4C Championship onto his shoulder with the microphone in his free hand.

Jack Bruce: "Well, well, well. Antonio, my friend, we meet again! So glad to see you in such a familiar fashion. On your back, hurt, covered in another man's sweat, and being surrounded by other guys. Actually, come to think of it, I bet you're use to that. However, a new sight you fans will have to get use to, is me, holding onto this belt right here. Such a beauty, isn't it?"

As he finishes his thought, Bruce spits on the title and uses one of Del Veccio's elbow pads as a wipe. The crowd boos and hisses at The Pack, trying to spit their own venom at the four men, but they seem to have no effect on the group. Bruce passes the microphone onto DeColt, which in turn, causes a 'NOTBPW' and 'CGC' chant.

Steve DeColt: "What's that I'm hearing? Two places I've already conquered. 4C and those other guys have a lot in common. They all have the same, mindless, stupid, brainwashed fan bases. The ones who go out and buy the clothes of the hero because that's what they're told to do. You know how many spoiled brats I saw wearing a shirt that said 'The House Of Stone' or 'The DeColt Legacy' that left me out of the equation? No one ever came up to us after a show and said 'Hey man, you're a really talented wrestler.' What they all say is, 'Hey man, you're a really talented entertainer.' I don't wrestle to entertain, I wrestle to display my talents and display my skill."

"I don't know why people insist that I should care about people like yourselves. I barely care about my own damn family! The four of us have been in this industry for quite some time. We've been lied to, betrayed, spat on, deceived, and the list is endless. We never got a break to heal or spend time with our families, we were told what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and what would happen if we failed to do it. At the end of the day, just like you, we're nobodies. We're the garbage of the world, but The Pack is here to change that. Not for you, not for anyone else, but for us. When we're on top, we're show our true power, and we'll show how to dominate."

"Until then, I suggest you keep kissing the asses of every corporate and executive you know because soon enough, they'll be gone, and you know who will replace them? Us. This is the start of something new. A new dynasty. A new generation. Our children will be brought into success. Our children will follow our footsteps. Remember this day. And just know, we'll see you again next month."

Ending on that note, DeColt drops the mic as the rest of The Pack leaves the ring to a rain of boos. DeColt stays in the ring with anger visible in his eyes as he looks around the arena. He looks down at Del Veccio and spits on the champ, screaming "I'm the next champion!" at him until he finally backs off and leaves the ring. The Pack meet up at the top of the ramp and pose one final time as Terry Smith wishes everyone a good night and pleasant tomorrow.

The Aftermath

http://i.imgur.com/ZflYboE.jpg

Show number two in the bag. A couple of boxes of black hair dye in the bag. Traveling from Ontario to Quebec in just a month and not weekly. As weird as it sounds, this isn't an easy schedule so far. I don't think my body has adjusted to just working one show a month and I'm not even wrestling. The paychecks aren't as hefty either, but you make with what you've got. The four of us decided to just rent an apartment in downtown Ontario. Four world famous pro wrestlers working for a small company, renting and living in an apartment together. This is all starting to sound like a sitcom.

The Stones are hurting a bit without me, but they're still managing to keep everything pretty consistent over there. Better shows than what 4C could ever dream about putting on, but the four of us plan to change that. Jeremy decided to try and hurt that plan as well as getting some revenge on me by stealing Frankie Dee from us. I hope the attention of KC Glenn and Acid II can fill that gap. Despite everyone in Japan wanting KC, we're still going to try, and hold onto him.

I think it's fair to say everyone in the group is pretty excited with the plan thus far. My only fear is that one of us will slip into some kind of ego, power trip and lose focus on what we're here for. To take 4C to the top and basically say "F**k you" to Jeremy and Alex. They may have some of the best talents in Canada, but I've got more contacts than any of those bastards. Duane is the only one who is able to scout some talent outside of Canada. Dan and company are too focused on the technical, hard hitting style of wrestling. I'm not saying that's a bad thing to focus on, but you have to mix in the younger kids. Jacob Jett and his speed, agility, and aerial moves are way better than watching Dan Stone Jr. vs. Johnny Bloodstone XXVI.

Despite being held back by SWF's sports entertainment product, the guys still knew what to look for in a wrestler. Also getting free tapes from everyone in the Confederation Of The Territories helps too. Having Sam Keith, former CGC champion, on speed dial is something I'm a little too excited for. I'm nearly 40 years old and returning to the apartment to hear Christian on the phone with Keith, talking wrestling and young talent, it gives me goosebumps.

Troy has pretty much put the scouting and signing in my hands. Which basically means: Faith, Bruce, Giedroyc, and me are going to be arguing monthly over who to bring in and who to ship out. We've pretty much agreed on at least bringing in one person a month to try out. At least this month, we've all decided on someone. A guy I wanted to bring into NOTBPW to change things up a bit, but Jeremy was too stubborn. I know for a fact that he'll make an impact as soon as he touches down here.

Our contacts give us the edge here, but I don't have a strong feeling that a lot of guys are gonna want to shoot up here right away. It might take a lot of months and a TV or PPV deal, but they'll be wanting to come up here soon enough. Jeremy and Alex are going to regret ever forming a partnership. Speaking of contacts...I have Eddy's phone number somewhere.

Champion, Challenger, and Contender

A lot of questions are revolving around last month's main event and the match before it that crowned Davis Wayne Newton as the new #1 contender. However, the championship match was called a no contest due to the invasion of The Pack. All three parties were angry at how the invasion went down and what it means for Final Fight. To clear the confusion and make the tough call, 4C owner, Troy Winner, uploaded a video in response to Final Fight's main event...

http://i.imgur.com/jQwgVsW.jpg

Troy Winner

"Hello ladies and gentlemen, fans of 4C wrestling all around the world. I'm Troy Winner and I'm here to discuss the incidents of last month's event, X Factor. We were all witnesses to the brutal assault and interruption of the main event match that would have either crowned a new champion or had everything remain the same. Antonio Del Veccio is still 4C Champion, Davis Wayne Newton is still the #1 contender, and as for Jacob Jett, he's still the challenger."

"Now what that means is next month at Final Fight, the main event will be for the 4C Championship, and the match will be a 3-way between Del Veccio, Jett, and Newton. I've already told the men about this and they're not happy about it at all, but I'm just here to say what I believe is fair for every party. The next two questions I will be answering will be about...The Pack."

"What do I have planned to do for The Pack? I cannot say that at this moment. It's hard to pinpoint four men who invaded MY COMPANY and assaulted MY STAFF destroying the main event for YOU, the fans. The question that follows that is, how will I prevent The Pack from showing up at next month's main event? The short answer, I can't. The longer answer, I can't, but I do have a plan for this match. It will be a No Holds Barred match and the only way to win is to either make your opponent tap or hold him down long enough for a three count. While this doesn't get rid of the problem at hand, it at least gives the men the ability to fight back with weapons, forces a winner to come out, and will ensure that the fans will go home happy."

"I will have my own personal enforcers to stay at the top of the ramp to give the boys in the ring time to prepare in case the wall breaks down. Will The Pack even attack? Will they even show up? I wish I knew the answer, but I can promise you this. Final Fight will be nothing, but pure mayhem and entertainment for all, whether The Pack intervenes or not, it's a show that will be worth watching. Thank you all for your time. But wait...I will say this. Our newest signing will be at Final Fight next month and he will be facing against anyone. An open challenge. He came to me with the idea and he personally wishes for a member of The Pack to come out and face him. I cannot give you his name at this time, but I can rest assure that he could single-handedly take on any member of The Pack. However, I must go, and I once again, thank you all for taking the time to watch this. Thank you and good night."

New Faces

Drop Kix, Josh Jones, and ???

With all of the chaos erupting at 4C, they brought in a few more recruits to help battle The Pack. Drop Kix is a 19 year old male from America who has only been in the wrestling world for about a year, but features a lot of promise and potential as long as he keeps his work ethic up. His main finisher is the exciting Cannonball Legdrop (Diving somersault leg drop) from the top rope.

Next one up is a product of Canada, "Double J" Josh Jones who is currently 24 years old and has 2 years under his belt. He has been bouncing around from show to show and it's a surprise that no one picked him up. Considered to be an independent steal, Jones could become a huge star in the company. His finisher is an insanely powerful backdrop he calls the "Canadian Backdrop" (High angle belly-to-back suplex) that he must of picked up from some Puro tapes.

And the third newest member of the roster is a mystery, even to us! The only sliver of information we have on the mystery man is that he is currently employed by another member of COTT (4C, NYCW, MAW, CZCW, OLLIE). The only way we'll find out who this man is, is by checking out Final Fight next month.

The Pack

Christian Faith, Steve DeColt, Jack Bruce, and Jack Giedroyc

Combined Weight: 928 lbs

Combined Record: 0-0-0

As easy as it is to hate these guys, it's pretty impossible not to talk about them. They debuted last month at Cage Rage after the main event to take out Antonio Del Veccio and leave a message with everyone watching. Their goal? To save wrestling. Is wrestling truly in danger? Can't comment on that, but these four guys sure seem to think that way.

They showed up again this month at X Factor, this time getting involved in the main event in process. We all watched in horror as Faith slammed Jett onto the steel barrier and watched him take down Del Veccio once again. The group spoke again and made their goals even clearer. Rumor going around is that at least one of the members will be featured in a match next month at Final Fight, but we can only speculate if that match will happen and if it does, if it will be a fair fight.

Around The World

  • Both TCW and USPW fell in popularity, being considered cult promotions, leaving SWF as the #1 promotion in America
  • At the age of 52, Canadian referee Russell Eicke passed away
  • Jesse Christian and Kanishoki returned to the wrestling scene earlier this month, both unemployed
  • SWF called up their latest project from RIPW, Spencer Spade
