TCW: Making Mr. Cornell Proud

TCW – April 2014

Current Storylines

“The Future” is Now???

With the top acclaimed TCW Superstars battling it out to receive a title shot at TCW Mayhem, a 20 Man Battle Royal was held, consisting of 20 wrestlers who have never received a TCW World Title shot. Steven Parker took full advantage. At this point of his career, while it has been promising, he has been not much more than a hoodlum for Tommy Cornell and the Syndicate. Not anymore. He will be headlining TCW’s Where Angels Fear to Tread!

Parker has sworn not to let this opportunity pass him by, and has proven that in the past few weeks. He has shown no fear towards the champ, “The King of the Insane Asylum” Eddie Peak. On two occasions, he has laid out Peak heading into the PPV. Granted, both were blind side attacks, but you have to give the young gun credit. He is taking advantage of the opportunity. Overnight, Parker has become a bonafide star and is one step away from living up to his nickname, The Future.

There’s a tall order waiting for Parker this Sunday on PPV, though. While he is showing aggression, Parker has also angered a monster in Peak. Can the young gun pull off one of the biggest upsets in TCW history? Or will the King of the Insane Asylum keep a firm grip on his throne?

Punch your ticket to Mayhem….in the Chamber!

The TCW Board recognizes just how big the pay-per-view, Mayhem, is to the company. It is the biggest show of the year. Last year, the main event of Tommy Cornell vs Wolf Hawkins, made the company a pretty penny. The TCW Board will attempt to surpass the success of last year, and this is step one.

At Where Angels Fear to Tread, six of the biggest names in TCW will entered the Chamber. With steel and chains surrounding them, the competitors will do battle until one man is left standing. That man will get the opportunity to challenge for the World Title on the biggest show of the year.

Wolf Hawkins. Sammy Bach. Rick Law. Tommy Cornell. Joss Thompson. Rocky Golden. The Chamber Match is literally a Who’s Who of TCW. All six men are determined to receive the ultimate opportunity. Who will walk out of this brutal extravaganza the victor?

The Newcomer is Primed for TCW Gold

Roger Cage has hit the TCW Stage on fire. In over 2 months, Devine’s prized understudy has yet to have his shoulders down for a 3 count or has been submitted. He has been on a tear through the TCW Roster. And in the past few weeks, Joey Minnesota’s TCW International Championship has been in his sight. Twice in the past month, Cage has come out and distracted Minnesota and in the process cost him a month. One of those times, the man who calls himself “Smooth” even came out and admired himself in a lifesize mirror, held by Steve Devine.

Minnesota, though, is not impressed by the newcomer, and welcomes the challenge to his title. Minnesota defeated Cage this past week in tag team action, but that win comes with an asterisk, for Cage left his partner John Anderson high and dry to take the lost. This Sunday, the two competitors one on one for the gold. With the Newcomer continues his hot streak, or will the Veteran teach the new dog some new tricks?

Evolution says there will be New Tag Champs?

Steve Devine’s boys have been on a hot streak, as Cameron Vessey & Jay Chord won a 3 Way Match to become the #1 Contenders for the TCW Tag Team Championship. Vessey & Chord has proven to be promising TCW Stars, who will take the time to remind you of their family legacies…if you give them the chance to!

The champs, The Ying Yang Dragons, are not impressed by Evolution, though. Koshiro Ino & Mikey James are primed to continue their reign with the tag gold. On the latest edition of Total Wrestling, the teams split their singles match against each other, 1-1. Now, it’s time for them to battle together for the gold. Vessey & Chord are confident it is their time. This Sunday, we will see if they can live up to their confidence!

RDJ Crowns Ace Andrews “The Chosen One.” Benny Benson Disagrees!

Four weeks ago, RDJ came on TCW Television and accused the TCW Board for purposely ignoring the potential of Ace Andrews, and even claimed that the Board is comfortable enough with their usual stars that they don’t want to see the young stud succeed. As ridiculous as this claim seems, Aaron Andrews in the past few weeks seemingly has been significantly motivated by RDJ’s words. He has won all his matches, with the exception of the previously mentioned 20 Man Battle Royal.

One of his victories came against Greg Black in dirty fashion, which Black’s tag team partner Benny Benson wasn’t very fond of. So the challenge was made out to Aaron Andrews by Benson, for Andrews to prove that he really is “The Chosen One.” RDJ accepted the challenge on behalf of Andrews, and doing so called Benson just another stepping stone for his protégé.

Will RDJ’s words continue to motivate Andrews to greater things? Or will Benson put an end to “The Chosen One’s” hot streak?

Roster Changes

Call Ups

Two Call Ups to the main roster took place in April. The first was Kirk Jameson, a young stud who reportedly has a ton of charisma. Guide was sent to CCW, reportedly to help train the young CCW Talent. Meanwhile, TCW has had Scout dropped his army gimmick the departure of Guide, and has Scout taking a more serious approach under his real name, Jeremy Finch.

KC Glenn was also promoted to the main roster. Glenn is the protégé of Joey Minnesota. No one was demoted to CCW, but this move was reportedly was made as Ricky Dale Johnson continues to work less and less matches.

Additions

Hugh De Aske was signed to a contract, and was sent directly to CCW to improve on his already immense talents.

Departures

Dread apparently will not be appearing on TCW Television again anytime soon. His special appearance as TCW’s Tournament of Champion 2014 was a one time deal, and did not sign a written contract with the company.

TCW also signed veteran The Natural to a PPA Contract, but released him in the following week. Reports were they planned to have him work with CCW until TCW began their plans to brand their main roster into two portions. But his tryout match was disappointing, as it proved that The Natural wasn’t the same talent as he was years prior.

Tag Teams

The tag team of Ace Lightning came to a abrupt ending, as RDJ relinquished himself as Jamie Atherton’s manager as Atherton continues to face the rookie woes in TCW. RDJ doesn’t plan to take on another talent, and seems determined to focus on the career of Aaron Andrews and making “Ace” the next big star.

Mayhem isn’t too far away…

It isn’t far away…but for now...another terror awaits….

Tonight…we go to a place….

WHERE ANGELS FEAR TO TREAD!!

Aaron Andrews defeated Benny Benson

In an exciting match to open up the PPV, Andrews lived up to the words of his mentor RDJ, who called Andrews things like “The Chosen One” and the future of TCW. It turns out though that he needed RDJ’s help though to get the job done, as Benson brought the fight, as we all expected him to. But after a timely distraction by RDJ allowed Andrews to blindside Benson, it was easy picking for Aaron to connect with his brand new finisher, the devastating maneuver he calls The Ace in the Pocket. (75)

Buddy Garner defeated KC Glenn

In a filler match, Garner taught the young Glenn a few lessons about technical wrestling. KC managed to catch the veteran with a couple good licks, but in the end, Garner was able to lock in the Garner Tendon Hold, and Glenn was left with no choice but to tap. (79)

Wolf Hawkins worked a promo backstage, hyping the Six Man Chamber Match tonight. Rocky Golden & Tommy Cornell were his major targets, as he vowed to once again become TCW World Champion after winning the Chamber Match tonight. (87)

TCW Tag Team Championship!

The Ying Yang Dragons defeated Evolution to retain the TCW Tag Team Championship

Always guaranteed to be a show stealing possibility, the TCW Tag Team Division lived up to expectations and then some in a crazy thriller of a match. Cameron Vessey & Jay Chord were able to control most of the match after grounding the high flier Mikey James, but after the powerhouse Koshiro Ino was able to get in the match for the Dragons, all hell broke loose! The action was fast and intense, and Referee Sam Sparrow had absolutely no chance at containing it, so he just let it go! The ending came down to Jay Chord being caught by Ino doing an aerial attack, which led to a powerslam, followed by The Dragons connecting with the Dragon-Pault for the 3 Count! As the count was made, VIP Leader Steve Devine was shown screaming at Chord to get up while damn near pulling out his hair! (86)

An angry Steve Devine yelled at Evolution to go back to the showers, but stayed at ringside. Taking a microphone, Devine told the crowd not to laugh at him, because he has one more shot at TCW Gold tonight, and this one is guaranteed! With that said, Devine introduced the undefeated prize possession of VIP, “Smooth” Roger Cage! (89)

TCW International Championship!

Joey Minnesota defeated Roger Cage to retain the TCW International Championship

Very rarely does the veteran champion come in as the underdog to the rookie challenge as Minnesota did, but Cage quickly proved why that was the case. Roger Cage had an answer for everything Minnesota tried to do and showed why he was the hottest rookie TCW has seen in quite some time. A huge smile came over Devine as Cage seemed to be only minutes from victory. Cage was as cocky as could be, and even took the time to pose for the ladies in the crowd. He soon paid the price for it all, as when he went to dragged Minnesota, the champ got Cage in a small package for a 3 Count! And what came of this? Well, besides Cage being left with his jaw hanging low for quite some time, we were all pretty sure Steve Devine was on the verge of having a heart attack! (73)

Eddie Peak cut a promo about his upcoming title defense against “The Future” Steven Parker. Peak made it clear that he does not underestimate the young challenger, and Parker will pay for the attacks he committed against the champ in the past few weeks. (86)

TCW World Heavyweight Championship!

Eddie Peak defeated Steven Parker to retain the TCW World Heavyweight Championship

Steven Parker said a week prior that he will treat this match like it was the only chance he would receive at the World Title, because it just might. Parker lived up to that proclamation and brought the fight to Eddie Peak, a man who intimidated most people to the bone.

In a strange turn of events, when Eddie Peak seemed to be gaining full control of the matchup, Parker’s tag partner John Anderson executed a sneak attack on the champ in the hopes to help Parker. Much to the surprise of everyone, Parker got in the face of Anderson and told his partner that he didn’t “want to win that way!” An enraged Parker then told Anderson to go to the back, because he wanted to win the match by himself!

Perhaps it was a foolish move in the end, because Parker couldn’t keep Peak down, no matter how close he came. One small mistake might have kept the gold with Peak, as Parker connected with his Future Shock finisher, but unfortunately for the challenger, Peak was able to put his foot on the bottom rope!

Parker finally got caught though after missing with his secondary finisher, The Tooth Fairy Kick, which led to Peak connecting with The Peak of the Devil for the win! (89)

Eddie Peak celebrated with the TCW World Title in the ring, as a frustrated Steven Parker slumped his way back to the locker room. Parker gave it his all, but could not figure how to put the King of the Insane Asylum away. (75)

The Keith Brothers defeated Endangered Species

In a cool down match in between tonight’s two main events, four of the young up and comers on the TCW roster looked to prove that they’re worth the fans’ time. In the end, it would seem that brotherly love propelled Greg & Matthew Keith to victory, though most likely it had more to with their Stun Gun DDT finisher, which they used on American Eagle to gain the W. (65)

Tommy Cornell cut a promo, pretty much crapping on everyone and claiming that if he had gotten his rightful return match against Eddie Peak, the TCW World Title would already be back with The Syndicate. Because he didn’t receive that rematch, Cornell declared that 5 other TCW competitors would have to face the wrath of the best wrestler in the world inside the steel chamber. (83)

IT’S TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT!!!

6 Man Steel Chamber Match!

The Winner Challenges for TCW World Heavyweight Championship at TCW Mayhem!

Wolf Hawkins vs Joss Thompson vs Rick Law vs Tommy Cornell vs Sammy Bach vs Rocky Golden

Sammy Bach & Joss Thompson started off the match and took little time to get right back to the brutality. At the five minute mark, the monster Rocky Golden joined the match and instantly began to throw Bach & Thompson like rag dolls. After incapacitating Thompson, Golden focused on Bach while taunting Bach’s best friend and Golden’s nemesis, Wolf Hawkins. Lucky for Bach, Wolf Hawkins was released from his chamber at the ten minute mark and raced into the match to save his friend! Bach & Hawkins worked together to take down the monster Golden and soon executed a double back body toss, sending the giant crashed to the steel floor outside the ring. A sneak attack by Thompson took out Bach, and an old feud was instantly revived as Hawkins & Golden went at it. With Hawkins distracted, Golden got back in the ring and stalked a dazed Bach before hitting him with the Rocky Road for the 3 count. (1st Elimination – Sammy Bach)

The match hit the fifteen mark, and the former champion Tommy Cornell took his leave from his chamber, and was quickly met by the monster Golden! After sending Cornell flying all over the ring, Golden aimed to eliminate Cornell quite quickly. Much the surprise of all, Hawkins came to the aid (???) of Cornell by hitting Golden with a flying dropkick! Golden went rolling to the floor as Hawkins went right back to the top rope. With Golden rising, Hawkins flew off the top rope, grabbed the monster by his head, and DDT’ed Golden into the steel flooring of the chamber! Wow! With Golden out cold, Hawkins rolled him over and got the 3 Count! (2nd Elimination – Rocky Golden)

The Syndicate instantly went to work together on their long time nemesis Wolf Hawkins, but help soon came for Hawkins. The 20 minute mark hit for the match, and out came the final competitor, the 300lbs Rick Law! Big but super agile, Law delivered a house of pain all over Cornell & Thompson! After clotheslining Thompson over the top rope and painfully onto the steel floor, Law followed after him, leaving Hawkins & Cornell in the ring. Hawkins was on the hunt, waiting for Cornell to recover to his feet. But as he did, Hawkins was spun around and taken by the throat by an enraged Rocky Golden! Referee Sam Sparrow yelled at Golden to get out of the chamber, but Golden would not hear it! The monster lifted Hawkins up and connected with the Rocky Road! The damage done, a very poor mannered Golden stormed out of the chamber and right out of the arena to a mass amount of boos. The boos continued, as an opportunistic Cornell crawled into the cover on the motionless Hawkins and got the 3 Count! (3rd Elimination – Wolf Hawkins)

Rick Law was instantly in trouble, as The Syndicate double team was now on. Cornell & Thompson put the beatdown on Law until both were smiling ear to ear. As Thompson declared it officially over, Cornell removed one of the turnbuckle covers, exposing the metal ring beneath it. The Syndicate went to whip Law into it, but Law put on the brakes! The crazy agile 300 pounder spun around and double clotheslined both men! The crowd erupted as Law exploded with a massive amount of offense on the Syndicate. Law then lifted Cornell up in the air in the Gorilla Press and threw him onto Thompson! Both Syndicate men crashed hard to the mat! Cornell wisely rolled out of the ring, while Thompson was left as fresh meat for Law. Thompson rose to his feet, only to walk right into The Long Arm of the Law! 1,2,3. Goodbye Joss Thompson! (4th Elimination – Joss Thompson)

Cornell was in complete shock as the crowd chanted the name of the man staring a whole right through the TCW Owner. With a crooked grin, Law waved Cornell on. Instead, Cornell jetted for the chamber exit, only to be halted by Law! Law threw Cornell back into the ring, and thus the beatdown began! Law hit Cornell with rights, lefts, and even some boots. Cornell was barely able to rise to his feet, because every time Law knocked him right back down when did! Finally, Law gestured a thumbs down, declaring it was time to punch his ticket to the main event at Mayhem! Law grabbed Cornell and lifted him up for the Squad Car Slam, but Cornell fought like a mad man. Cornell broke off behind Law, and with Law off balanced, Cornell shoved Law forward into the corner, and chest first into the exposed turnbuckle! Law stumbled back clutching his chest, his face wincing in agony, as Cornell pulled him down into the roll up! Law kicked like crazy, but Cornell held him down for the 3 Count! Boos flooded the arena, as Law managed to break free, but unfortunately at 3 ½! (86)

Tommy Cornell gets his Rematch at Mayhem!

A stunned Law watched as Cornell rolled out of the ring and began to celebrate on the chamber floor. With the Syndicate music playing, Cornell demanded security to escort Rick Law out of “his” ring. Law thought for a moment about going after Cornell, but after sharing some words with the boss, Law left with his hands on his hips.

Cornell demanded a mic, which he used to began to use to taunt the crowd, as he asked them how they liked the match. Cornell then directed his words towards the champion, Eddie Peak. Or, as Cornell called him, the “former” champion! As Cornell continued to spew into the mic, the lights went out in the arena. All of a sudden, a sick laugh echoed loudly throughout the arena!

The lights came back on……and Eddie Peak stood behind Tommy Cornell with a sadistic smile on his face!

Cornell turned around, and literally tripped over his own his feet before crawling frantically out of the chamber! Peak didn’t move a single bit, but only watched and continue to smile as a fearful Cornell made a quick exit from the arena. As the PPV came to a close, Metallica’s For Whom The Bell Tolls played throughout the arena. The camera panned up on the face of the World Champion, as Eddie Peak mouthed four words…. (100)

Mayhem…I LOVE MAYHEM!!!

Overall PPV Score: 85

TCW – May 2014

Current Storylines

Peak vs Cornell : The Final Encounter!

Everything has led up to this, and what better place for it to happen than TCW Mayhem, the biggest show of the year?

Eddie Peak, the current TCW World Heavyweight Champion. The Anti-Hero who calls himself The King of the Insane Asylum. Why? Well…it’s abundantly clear why he calls himself that.

Tommy Cornell, the former World Champion & TCW Owner. He also lives up to moniker, Rough Justice. As the leader of the Syndicate, his winning percentage is as good as it gets, although the way he wins is highly questionable.

If you have been following this blog, then you don’t need much more of a preview. After months of feuding, this final match has built up since Tommy Cornell won the #1 Contender’s Chamber Match at Where Angels Fear to Tread. On the past episode of Total Wrestling, Peak & Cornell ended the show with a long but dramatic face off. Both made it clear. Their goal is not only to be World Champion, but to also be the end for the other man’s career.

It all comes down to TCW Mayhem, where the men will compete in a Steel Cell Match. The TCW Board has made it clear. There will be no rematch for the loser, no matter what happens. With 3 PPV Title Matches already and One Title Change, it is time to move on, and this is the big finale. One match will walk away the champion. And the other? Well…not so well.

The New Age David vs Goliath!

Rocky Golden turned heel a few months ago after detesting the fact that the crowd turned their attention to Wolf Hawkins and, according to Golden, pronounced Hawkins their “golden boy.” When Golden was injured and almost no one cared, Golden was enraged, for he claimed Hawkins “stole his spot.” And thus, this feud has gone on since, including Hawkins eliminating Golden in last month’s Chamber Match, only for Golden to interfere after his elimination, causing Hawkins to be eliminated as well.

To quote Hawkins, he is “tired of Golden’s bitching and moaning.” Even though he is giving up a lot of height and over a hundred pounds to Golden, Hawkins has brought the fight to Golden in the past few weeks. He even sent the monster fleeing the ring after knocking Golden from his feet. It was even Hawkins who made this challenge, a Street Fight at Mayhem!

Perhaps Hawkins is in over his head, but the truth is Wolf will not be intimidated by Rocky Golden. Will Wolf’s stubbornness lead to his destruction by TCW’s Monster, or will Hawkins pull the ultimate upset at the biggest show of the year?

Who Will Serve Hard Time at Mayhem?

The feud between Rick Law & Joss Thompson began at The War to Settle the Score, when Thompson clobbered Law with his own Night Stick, costing him his TCW World Title Shot. It continued for a few months. Thompson defeated Law at Just Another Day? after a very flaky DQ when Law was disqualified for using his Night Stick, which Thompson had brought into play. Then in the Chamber Match at Angels Fear to Tread, Law got some revenge by eliminating Thompson from the matchup. Law challenged Thompson to a match to settle the score, and Thompson accepted.

A tag team match was set up on Total Wrestling between Rick Law & Eddie Peak versus The Syndicate’s Tommy Cornell & Joss Thompson. With a little help from ex-Syndicate member Steven Parker, Law & Peak won. There was a side stipulation to the match, where the member of the winning team would decide the stipulations for their match at Mayhem. Living up to who he is, Law surprised Thompson by announcing their match would be the 2nd Ever Jail Bird Match! The loser of the match would be taken out of the arena in cuffs, and then spend a night in the local jail!

Obviously, Law’s plan is to embarrass Thompson with this match. But Thompson has warmed up to the stips, as he embraces the possibility of making TCW’s Law Enforcer spend a night behind bars. This promises to be a grueling match, where a loss would come at a huge cost. Whoever loses, just remember, don’t drop the soap!

The Diamond Cutters Implode!

Steven Parker was a split second away from defeating Eddie Peak for the TCW World Title at Where Angels Fear to Tread, many times over and over. In the process, Parker sent his tag partner John Anderson away after Anderson interfered in the match, attacking Peak. Parker was determined to win the match cleanly, even though such stubbornness possibly cost him the match in the end.

On the next episode of Total Wrestling, while Peak & Tommy Cornell had a confrontation, Parker interrupted and demanded one more match with Eddie Peak. After Cornell denied him at first, Parker insulted Cornell, claiming that it was always about him and the rest of the Syndicate were his puppets. It would seem Cornell had a change of heart and made the match that night for Parker. Once again, Parker & Peak had a very even match. In a shocking turn of events, when it looked like Cornell was going to attack Peak, Cornell turned and blasted his own Syndicate ally with a steel chair, leaving him to be defeated by Peak.

Peak saved Parker from a 3 on 1 Beatdown by his Syndicate “friends,” and probably from serious injury. After a week of not sleeping a wink, Parker showed up on the next episode of Total Wrestling, even though Cornell had banned him from the arena. That didn’t stop Parker, as he attacked John Anderson during a singles match through the crowd, then cost Cornell & Joss Thompson their own match.

Parker wants Tommy Cornell. He wants to revenge. But Cornell claims that if he wants the boss, then he has to go through Parker’s former partner, John Anderson. And so he will at Mayhem, as the best tag team in 2013 goes to war! Will Parker extract his revenge, or will he learn just how tough life really is without those Syndicate numbers on his side?

Is the 2nd Time the Charm for Roger Cage?

At Where Angels Fear To Tread, Roger Cage had the TCW International Gold in his grasp. He had all the answers for Joey Minnesota that night. Unfortunately for Cage, TCW’s Hottest Newcomer got too cocky, and found himself victim to a well timed Small Package for the 3 Count!

For a whole month, Steve Devine has told everyone willing to listen that Roger Cage is the true International Champion. And after a month of altercations and a couple tag matches against each other, Owner Tommy Cornell decided it was in the best interest of the TCW International Title Picture that these two have a rematch at Mayhem.

So the rematch is set. Will Roger Cage learn from past mistakes and get his first taste of TCW Gold? Or will the veteran Joey Minnesota stop the cocky youngster in his tracks and continue his dominant championship reign?

The Chosen One? Sammy Bach Thinks Not!

For 2 Months, Ricky Dale Johnson has accused the TCW Board for overlooking Aaron Andrews, and that they have some vendetta against the young star and are unwilling to give Ace a real chance in the company. As ridiculous as it might sounds, it has lit a fire under Ace, as he has run rabid over the competition since RDJ has spoken such accusations.

After Aaron Andrews lost to Sammy Bach in a Six Man Tag Match (a match where Ace bailed on his teammates), RDJ vocally announced Bach as his protégé’s next target. Or, as RDJ calls Sammy, his next “stepping stone.” Sammy Bach, though, is not a man who will allow himself to be walked over. Such was proven after Andrews sneak attacked Bach, as Bach came back and brought the fight the following week.

Bach has made the challenge. “Prove to me you’re the so-called ‘Chosen One’!” RDJ has accepted the challenge on behalf of Andrews. Will Ace continue his tear through the TCW Roster, or will Bach halt the young stud right in his tracks?

Four Way War Over The TCW Tag Team Titles

After losing to the Champs, The Ying Yang Dragons, in a close championship match, Evolution’s Cameron Vessey & Jay Chord weren’t ready to give up just yet. But there are other contenders hungry for a shot. The Canadian Animals, for example, were primed to get back in the title hunt, thus proven by their interference in a Six Man Match, costing the Dragons the match (and helping Evolution win!). High Concept, meanwhile, held the TCW Tag Titles for over half of 2013, and with several victories in the past couple of months, Benny Benson & Greg Black are primed to get another shot at the gold.

Two weeks ago, The Dragons & High Concept defeated Evolution & The Canadian Animals in an 8 Man Tag Team Match. In the process, an altercation occurred between the Dragons & High Concept after High Concept tried to show up the champs. Then, this past week, a representative from each team competed in Four Way Singles Match. With a little help from his partner Jay Chord, Cameron Vessey won and gained some momentum for his team!

This Sunday at Mayhem, four of the best teams in TCW go to battle in which promises to be some of the best action you’ll see all year along! Who leave Mayhem with the bragging rights, and most importantly, the tag team gold?!

TCW News

TCW Primed for its Biggest Show of the Year

After its major success last year, TCW Owner Tommy Cornell told the world that he planned on making TCW Mayhem 18 the biggest show it could possibly. Usually TCW has a handful of storylines going into a PPV. But, as you can see, TCW has built up a whopping 7 storylines to head into the big show. Plus, Cornell has announced that unlike most TCW PPVs, Mayhem 18 will run for at least 3 Hours & 30 Minutes, and might even reach the 4 Hour Mark! The show will have a special set, live bands, and special celebrities! Needless to say, TCW is pulling out all the stops for the biggest of the show! Don’t be cheap, make sure you buy TCW Mayhem 18 on PPV, or trust me, you will regret it!

TCW Total Wrestling Stays on GNN Total Sports

TCW announced that their highly acclaimed television show will stay on GNN after a contract renewal this month. While it was rumored TCW would be also looking into another television deal, it would seem that the contract renewal for TCW Total Wrestling was first priority. Rumor is TCW is still looking to get another Television Deal, and it could come as early as this August.

Two Talent Receive Big Contracts to stay with TCW

TCW made big deals to ensure two talents stay on their roster for a very long time. Frequent Main Eventer and Beloved Babyface Rick Law was signed to a 9 Year Contract for approximately $60 Thousand per Month. The contract will keep Law with the company right up to his 40th Birthday.

Meanwhile, TCW signed up and comer Jay Chord to a 10 Year Contract, worth about $15 Thousand Per Month. Owner Tommy Cornell was determined to make this deal, as he sees big things for the son of Rip Chord. Needless to say, we have yet to see the best of Jay Chord, but Cornell believes great things will happen for this kid!

Joey Minnesota in Cornell’s Dog House?

Joey Minnesota might be wearing TCW Gold, but for how long might be in question after recent incidents outside the ring. For the 2nd time in 3 Months, Minnesota was accused of getting into a brawl with a TCW Fan prior to a TCW Show. Tommy Cornell refused to give word on this incident, though word is he is furious with Minnesota right now. Cornell apparently isn’t happy that one of TCW’s top faces is committing such immature actions outside the ring. Minnesota was given a hefty fine after his latest trouble, and Joey reportedly was very unhappy with money being taken away from him.

Roster Changes

Additions

Cali Slick was signed to a contract, and was sent directly to CCW to improve on his already immense talents.

Veteran Daryl Devine was signed to a contract after being released from USPW. With a rumored roster splitting upcoming for TCW, it would seem Devine is in the mix for a spot on the main roster. For now, Devine has been sent down to CCW to work with TCW’s young talent.

MAYHEM 18!!

The Diamond Cutters Implode!

Steven Parker defeated John Anderson

Rightfully chosen, the battle of the former TCW Tag Team Champions, the Best Tag Team of 2013, kicked off Mayhem 18! At parts the action was fast, and at other times the competitors showed their technical skills. Then…at other times, they took their hatred out on each other with closed fists! In the end, Steven Parker’s rise to greatness couldn’t be hindered by his former partner (at least not on this night). “The Future” notched the win after connecting with his patented Future Shock finisher, and then celebrated with 75,000 roaring TCW Fans. (87)

TCW International Championship

Roger Cage defeated Joey Minnesota to become the NEW TCW International Championship!

If you took a poll about which match would go down at Match of the Night at Mayhem 18, no disrespect to Cage & Minnesota, but this match would probably get the least votes.

Well, the joke is on you!

In a rough and tough 12 minutes of great action, Minnesota & Cage had the crowd on the edge of their seats. The story was different from Where Angels Fear to Tread, when Cage controlled most of the match. Minnesota proved to be the crafty veteran this time, and was able to bounce back from everything that TCW’s Hottest Rookie brought to the table. The match in fact came down to Cage’s mentor Steve Devine distracting Minnesota as he climbed to the top rope. It gave Cage an opportunity to toss Minnesota hard to the mat. From there, the champ was easy pickings as Cage followed up with the Rage Cage for the 3 Count!

Devine stripped the TCW International Title from the timekeeper’s table and proceeded to race around ringside with the gold held up high before finally giving it to his prized protégé. Minnesota watched in disgust as Cage executed his “Smooth” struts up the entranceway with championship gold. After an epic 11 Month Run, Minnesota’s TCW International Title Reign has come to an end! (89)

Tommy Cornell cut a promo backstage, taunting both the live crowd and his opponent Eddie Peak. Cornell acted as if the victory was already in the bag, and his 9th Reign at TCW World Champion had already begun. (100)

Jail Bird Match!

Rick Law defeated Joss Thompson

Much of this match was a repeat of their first. It was a knock out brawl which quickly led to both competitors using weapons, seeing that there were no Disqualifications in this match. With a little help from the sexy Krissy Angelle, Thompson gained a late edge after brutalizing Law with numerous steel chair shots. Thompson signaled for the end as he aimed to connect with the Clean Cutter. But the 300 lbs Law broke free from the positioning and catapulted Thompson into the corner, thus smashing his face off the top turnbuckle! Completely groggy, Thompson turned around and walked right into Law’s finisher, The Strong Arm of the Law! Krissy Angelle screamed out yet could do nothing as Law got the 3 Count over Thompson! (80)

Much to the crowd’s pleasure, Law grabbed the pair of handcuffs from ringside, which he brought just for this special event! As he tried to cuff Thompson, fellow Syndicate member John Anderson hit the ring and attack Law! Attempting to save his ally Thompson from humiliation, Anderson began to lay a beat down. But his plans were halted when Steven Parker hit the ring and chased off his former partner, whom he had defeated earlier in the night! Parker sent Anderson fleeing through the crowd, and right out of the arena! Finally, after a sick boot to the face to keep him groggy, Law cuffed Thompson, and called for the local police!

Mid Atlantic’s finest policeman showed up on the scene and dragged the dizzy Thompson out of the arena. As he began to regain conscious, Thompson began to fight the policemen up the entranceway. With the crowd laughing at him, Thompson couldn’t do much more than fight, because he wasn’t getting away with his hands cuffed! Cameras followed the scene backstage, as Rick Law followed to ensure that no Syndicate tricks happened and that the stipulations of the match were followed. A squad car awaited Joss Thompson in the parking lot. As he kicked and screamed, the two policemen finally forced him into the backseat! Law waved with a smile as the policemen hit the sirens on the squad car, and then raced out of Rowland Stadium! (100)

TCW Tag Team Championship!

The Ying Yang Dragons defeated High Concept, Evolution, & The Canadian Animals to retain the TCW Tag Team Championship!

With a tag team on each corner of the ring, the match was fast paced and very intense each and every second! About five minutes into the match, all hell broke loose and Referee Ray Johnson lost complete control. Bodies began to fly everywhere, but luckily Referee Johnson was able to remember which teams were the legal ones. When Benny Benson connected with the Shockwave from Next Year on Edd Stone, the referee fairly slid into position and counted to 3, eliminating the Canadian Animals!

The elimination returned control to the match, as the final 3 teams went back to their corners. Evolution’s Cameron Vessey & Jay Chord took over the match after methodically breaking down Benny Benson on their own side of the ring. But after a hot tag to Mikey James, the tag champ went on fire and took out everyone in his way! With Evolution on their heels, Greg Black snuck in a blind tag to Mikey James, bringing in High Concept. Mikey was very unhappy as he had to watch High Concept hit Jay Chord with The Game Over, sending Evolution to the showers!

The crowd now was split with the two most popular teams in TCW facing off! “Dragons” chants and “HC” chants flooded the arena. The two face teams went at it and didn’t pull a single shot. Benson & Black came super close on several occasions to putting the champs away, but the size of the mammoth Koshiro Ino proved to be the difference maker. After catching Greg Black flying off the top rope with a Chokeslam, Black was in perfect position for Mikey James to come off the top rope with the Dragon-Pault! Mikey held off Benson as Ino made the cover, thus sealing another successful title defense for the Dragons! (77)

Eddie Peak cut a promo backstage, hyping his Main Event Match against Tommy Cornell. It was dark & disturbing…so pretty much what ya expect from Peak! Peak made it perfectly clear, he planned on ending Tommy Cornell in the Cell, which the crowd seemed to be enjoy hearing! (92)

Street Fight!

Rocky Golden defeated Wolf Hawkins

Hawkins swore that he would not be intimidated by the size difference, and he most certainly wasn’t at any point of the matchup. Hawkins brought the fight to Golden by any means necessary. In other words, Hawkins grabbed any weapon he could and beat the snot out of the monster Golden with it. The size difference soon came in play, as one sick clothesline that nearly took off Hawkins’ head put Golden in the driver’s seat for quite some time.

At some points, it looked like Referee Sam Sparrow was about to call the match, as Golden’s beating upon the smaller Hawkins was brutal to watch. But it was a Street Fight, all Sparrow could do was watch. Golden tormented Hawkins, and the concerned faces on the TCW crowd only proved to make Golden smile. It took only one mistake though, for Hawkins to get back into the match. Golden was too busy taunting Hawkins by holding him up in the Gorilla Press that he allowed Hawkins to break down and take out the monster by the knee with a chop block!

And thus a new battle plan came into play, as Hawkins went to work on the legs of Golden, refusing at any point to let the big man get to his feet. Hawkins did it all, from chair shots to the knees to locking in the figure four leglock around the ring post! Yet, as much damage as this brought, it did not leave Golden down for a 3 count.

So Hawkins prepped himself for the final blow, the one to put down the monster. Hawkins set a table up in the corner. Hawkins attempted to hit the same giant Tornado DDT that he hit in the Chamber Match, the one that eliminated Golden from the match. But Golden was ready this time, as he blocked the maneuver and dumped Hawkins through the table! Struggling to put pressure on his left leg, a limping Golden dragged Hawkins from the wreckage. Defenseless, Hawkins was finally put down by Golden’s Rocky Road finisher. A valiant effort by Hawkins, but Golden covered him for the 3 Count and the Victory. (82)

Sammy Bach defeated Aaron Andrews

A very close, fast paced match. Ricky Dale Johnson overnight has become one of the best managers that TCW has ever seen. His words of confidence proved to motivate Andrews throughout the match. Every time he screamed out “You are the Chosen One!” it seemed to light just a little bit more fire in Andrews. Andrews controlled a lot of this match, but Bach persevered and fought back into it. Although Andrews is pretty fast and agile, he was no match for the speed of Bach, and Sammy used it to his advantage to gain the edge late in the bout.

When it seemed like Bach was about to put away Andrews, RDJ took to the ring apron and began to yell Bach in the hopes to distract him. The distraction worked (or so we thought), and as RDJ & Bach shared words, Andrews was able to recover. Andrews charged Bach from behind, but Bach at the last second dodged the charge, and Andrews went crashing right into RDJ! RDJ was sent tumbling to ringside as Andrews fell to his mat, holding his noggin in pain. With Andrews on his back, Bach raced to the top rope and hit his amazing Shooting Star Press! 1,2,3. That’s all she wrote! (83)

A hype video was shown, highlighting the amazing feud Eddie Peak & Tommy Cornell have had for over six months. It all leads up to tonight, their final encounter no matter what happens! (100)

Tommy Cornell came out following the video with an amazing entrance, much fitting for this huge show. Wearing flashy gear made for just this night and fireworks blasting off all around him, Cornell strutted to the ring. (100)

The mood changed quickly as Eddie Peak made his own spectacular entrance for Mayhem 18, only much darker than Cornell’s. With smoke pouring out from all over and lights flashing throughout the arena, The King of the Insane Asylum made his way to the ring in a straight jacket with two white coated doctors beside him. Before the ring, the doctors removed the Straight Jacket, revealing the TCW World Title around the waist of Peak! What an entrance by the champ! (100)

Steel Cell Match!

TCW World Heavyweight Championship!

Eddie Peak ( c ) vs Tommy Cornell

The cell door was locked shut with a giant chain. Announcer Shawk Doakes took the time to note that while Tommy Cornell’s right hand Joss Thompson was taken off to jail, his other goon John Anderson had been chased right out of the arena by Steven Parker. In other words, Tommy Cornell was all by himself during this match!

Nevertheless, Cornell didn’t back down to his larger opponent, and these two future Hall of Famers beat the living hell out of each other. With help from the Steel Cell, Peak was able to bust Cornell open quite early in the match. It didn’t take long for Peak to show red, because with an assist by the ring post Cornell returned the favor. The sight of their own blood only seemed to ignite the fight in both men. No matter how much these men battered each other, neither would submit, and neither would stay down for a three count.

Peak brought one of the steel steps into play in the ring. But when he attempted to crush Cornell upon it, Cornell reversed and DDT’ed Peak upon it! As sick as it looked, it only resulted in a 2 Count. It did its job, as Cornell was left in full control. Dragging the mammoth World Champ to his feet, Cornell drove Peak’s head into the Steel Step once more, this time with a brutal Pile Driver! With a big smile Cornell covered Peak, but the Champ got the shoulder up at the last split-second!

Cornell was in disbelief, to the point that he almost socked Referee Sam Sparrow for not counting to 3. Cornell regained control of himself and looked for way to put Peak down for good. Dragging a steel chair from under the ring, Cornell had the weapon to do it! Cornell impatiently waited as Peak struggled to his feet. Cornell swung the chair….and Peak ducked! In a shocking turn of events, both men spun around, and Peak booted the steel chair right into Cornell’s skull! With Cornell groggy on his feet, Peak locked in the Straight Jacket finisher! Cornell fought like crazy as Peak began to choke him out with his own arms, but Rough Justice couldn’t break free. Finally, Cornell fell limp to the mat while the Referee questioned the barely conscious challenger!

It was then that a figure appeared from under the ring! With his back towards him, Eddie Peak had no idea as Evolution’s Cameron Vessey slid into the ring and grabbed the steel chair! Vessey cold cocked Peak across the back of his skull with the steel chair! My god, it is easily the sickest chair shot you will ever see! Peak’s body went limp instantly and fell to the mat. Boos flooded the arena as Vessey dragged Cornell’s motionless body on top of Peak! Vessey screamed at Referee Sam Sparrow to count until Sparrow reluctantly did so! 1…2…3! (81)

Dammit! Cornell did it again! He’s the 9 Time TCW World Champion!

A disgusted crowd watched as Cameron Vessey stormed out of the steel cell and grabbed the World Title before dragging a gumby-like Cornell from the ring and carried him from ringside. Halfway up the entrance way, Cornell finally came to life and offered a crooked grin while the TCW World Title dangled from his shoulder. Unable to lift his arm in victory, Cameron Vessey did it himself for the new Champ! (86)

Mayhem 18 was supposed to bring an end to such a legendary feud, but in the end it only left us with questions.

When did Cameron Vessey align himself with Tommy Cornell?

What kind of hell will Eddie Peak unleash for this corruption?

And most of all….how in the hell did Tommy Cornell pull it off??!!

Overall PPV Score: 92

Current Storylines</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Rick Law & Steven Parker team up to take down The Syndicate</strong></p><p>

Riding the wave of his 9th TCW World Title Win, Tommy Cornell was ready to celebrate following Mayhem 18. Cornell didn’t take into consideration that there would already be a title challenger ready to go following the PPV. In this instance, there were two title challengers waiting for Cornell. After Mayhem, Rick Law & Cornell’s former stablemate Steven Parker believed themselves to be the #1 Contenders for Cornell’s gold.</p><p> </p><p>

On Week 1 of Total Wrestling, Rick Law got the first crack at the World Title. Unfortunately, his longtime rival and Cornell’s protégé Joss Thompson interrupted the match by causing a disqualification. Steven Parker came to the rescue of Law before he could become victim of a Syndicate beatdown.</p><p> </p><p>

After these occurrences and Cornell’s being unwilling to make a #1 Contender from between Law & Parker, the TCW Board stepped in to make a Tag Team War for Excessive Force. Law & Parker would team up to face Cornell & Thompson with one huge stipulation. If Law & Parker won, the participant who gained the pinfall or submission would be the #1 Contender. But, if Cornell & Thompson win, Law & Parker will have no choice but to start back at the bottom of the mountain.</p><p> </p><p>

A lot is on the line in just one tag team match. Will Excessive Force give TCW a brand new #1 Contender, or just a very happy Tommy Cornell?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>A Wolf’s Obsession with Gold(en)</strong></p><p>

At Mayhem 18, Wolf Hawkins came extremely close to toppling the giant Rocky Golden. Alas, in the end the size difference was too much and Golden came away the victor. Hawkins now will not let this feud go, as he is determined to prove he can defeat Golden no matter what the price might be. Golden gladly accepted a rematch at Excessive Force, as he welcomes another opportunity to hurt Hawkins. This time though, they will compete in a Steel Cage!</p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins’ obsession though has become harmful not only to himself but to others. His best friend Sammy Bach tried to make Wolf realize the error of his ways. Hawkins wouldn’t listen, as he kept on saying he “can beat Rocky.” This obsession ended up hurting Sammy Bach, as Hawkins left his partner alone in a tag team match with The Syndicate after Rocky Golden made an appearance, distracting Hawkins. </p><p> </p><p>

How will this rematch fair for Wolf Hawkins? Will he be able to fend off his demons for good? Or will he come up short once more against the giant Golden?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Eddie Peak’s Destructive Path towards Revenge</strong></p><p>

At Mayhem 18, Eddie Peak had Tommy Cornell beat in the middle of the ring with his Straight Jacket finisher locked in tightly. Cameron Vessey appeared from under the ring, shocking everyone, and delivered one of the sickest chair shots ever to the back of Peak’s skull. That was the end of Eddie Peak’s World Title Reign.</p><p> </p><p>

Needless to say, Eddie Peak is extremely pissed off!</p><p> </p><p>

After revealing himself as Cornell’s new hoodlum, Cameron Vessey has claimed himself to be the man who will take down the King of the Insane Asylum. A tough task for a 27 year old, especially one who has yet to stand in the same ring with Peak. Any time Peak was close, Vessey has taken the closest exit. That was, until Week 4 of Total Wrestling, when he sneak attacked Peak yet again with a steel chair (during a 3 on 1 Handicap Match, mind you). </p><p> </p><p>

Vessey has poked the bees nest frequently, and now we’ll see if the young man can back up his words. Or, will Peak make Vessey regret ever crossing paths with the Craziest Man Alive?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Andrews & RDJ look to dethrone The Dragons</strong></p><p>

After Aaron Andrews defeated Mikey James, RDJ wasted no time to declare he and Andrews are the next Tag Team Champs. After two successful tag team victories, Andrews & RDJ were given a Tag Title Shot for Excessive Force by Tommy Cornell. </p><p> </p><p>

The Ying Yang Dragons have toppled all newcomers, including 3 Teams in One Match at Mayhem 18. But as we have all learned, Andrews & RDJ will do anything to come away victorious. Will that be enough to win Tag Team Gold, or will the Dragons continue to pile onto their successful title defenses? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Triple Threat War over the International Championship</strong></p><p>

After losing his title to Roger Cage, Joey Minnesota wasted no time announcing his intentions for his return match. He planned on taking the gold back at Excessive Force. But the title picture got tricky when in two tag team matches, High Concept’s Benny Benson pinned the International Champion. After these occurrences, the TCW Board decided it best to add Benny Benson to the International Championship Match at Excessive Force.</p><p> </p><p>

This match promises to have some back and forth, exciting action. Can Roger Cage continue his promising run since debuting in TCW, or will one of the challenges put an end to his title reign?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>VIP Implodes</strong></p><p>

After Cameron Vessey jumped ship from VIP to Syndicate, Steve Devine has not been a happy camper. Unfortunately for Jay Chord, Devine has directed all his anger towards him. Jay Chord has been on a losing streak throughout June, and rather than trying to help the young star, Devine has scolded Chord at every step of the way. Meanwhile, Devine does nothing but praise his other ally, Roger Cage, at every opportunity. One has to wonder if Devine’s attitude and Vessey’s departure could mean the end to VIP, and what will come of this for the young star Jay Chord. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW News</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

TCW Rises to International Size!</strong></p><p>

After surpassing SWF as the top company in the wrestling world, TCW took another huge step with their success of Mayhem 18. With such a huge event, TCW has officially become an International Wrestling Company, the only one currently running today! This upgrade for TCW has opened a lot of doors for the company. Tommy Cornell wasted little time to offer contracts to some of the top international talent that TCW couldn’t grab when the company was just National. Also, after boosting the TCW roster with CCW talent, it may seem only a matter of time before TCW gets another television show, and quite possibly execute a brand split. </p><p> </p><p>

Stay tune for the oncoming months, as TCW seems ready to fill those International shoes and continue to grow and firmly seal their position as the top company in the wrestling world. </p><p> </p><p>

<em>TCW just went through Mayhem…</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

But tonight…the best wrestlers are back on Pay-per-view….</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

But they’re not here to cause Mayhem….but instead?</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

They’re ready to deal out some </em><em><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">EXCESSIVE FORCE!!!</span></strong></em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sammy Bach & Greg defeated Steve Devine & Jay Chord</strong></p><p>

Not only was this the opening bout, this exciting tag team match turned out also to be the match of the night! The saga continued with Steve Devine losing his cool and taking it all out on Jay Chord. Whenever Chord made a mistake, Devine was in his face to scold him. Finally, it met a boiling point when Devine slapped Chord across the face and yelled at Jay to stand in the corner and “watch how it’s done!” Reluctantly, Chord listened to his mentor. </p><p> </p><p>

In Devine’s defense, he took over the match by himself as he laid a beatdown upon Greg Black. But after one mistake, Black made the tag to Sammy Bach, who came into the match and went on a rampage. Devine found himself in trouble as Bach used his speed to knock Devine from pillar to pillar. Devine managed to connect with a cheap shot, allowing himself to crawl to his corner. But, as he reached out for the tag, Jay Chord jumped off the apron and exited ringside! Unwilling to be embarrassed anymore, Chord left his leader high and dry!</p><p> </p><p>

Forgetting that he was in a match, Devine yelled at Chord to come back. When he finally remembered about the match, Devine walked right into a stiff kick to the face by Bach. Bach took the air, connecting with his Shooting Star Press, and that was all she wrote! (90)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>John Anderson vs Louis Monico</strong></p><p>

In a quick filler match, the longtime Syndicate member “kindly welcomed” the newest member of the TCW Roster to his first pay-per-view. While the veteran Monico was able to connect with a few good shots, he soon felled victim to the “Human Arsenal” and his finisher, The Ammo Dump. (74)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Steven Parker & Rick Law cut a promo about their main event tag team match against The Syndicate. While both agree that they plan on putting a whooping to Cornell & Thompson, the promo quickly heated up when both men began to argue as to whom deserved to the #1 Contender more.</em> (92)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Eddie Peak defeated Cameron Vessey by DQ</strong></p><p>

For the first part of the match, it looked like Vessey did indeed bite off more than he could chew. Peak extracted some revenge on the man who cost him the TCW World Title, courtesy of some devastating slams and very stiff shots. But after a timely sneak attack by fellow Syndicate member John Anderson, Vessey was able to recover and get back into this match.</p><p> </p><p>

Anderson had attacked Peak from behind with a chop block, and Vessey wasted no time to go after that knee to keep the big man off his feet. But no matter what Vessey did to Peak, he soon learned the same lesson that his leader Cornell had learned. It’s easy to say you can topple Eddie Peak, it’s a whole different thing when you actually have to do it! No matter what Vessey did to Peak and his knee, the King of the Insane Asylum would not quit.</p><p> </p><p>

One mismanaged move by Vessey led to him getting Peak’s boot right in his face. This led to Peak to regaining control, even though it was only on one leg. Peak began to deliver shot after shot, leaving Vessey groggy and defenseless. With Vessey barely able to stand, it was quite easy for Peak to come up from behind and lock in his submission, The Straight Jacket! Vessey began to fight frantically, and in a last act of desperation, he swung his leg back and delivered a low blow to Peak! Referee Yasuyuki Terakado instantly called for bell as Peak released the submission and collapsed to the mat. Vessey, meanwhile, quickly exited the ring and took his leave from the arena with John Anderson before Peak could recover! (79)</p><p> </p><p>

Infuriated, Peak rose to his feet while growling like some angry demon. Referee Terakado tried to raise Peak’s arm to announce him the winner, but Peak shove the referee aside and stormed out of the ring. Peak marched up the entrance way and through the curtains, ready to unleash hell on anyone who got in his way! (89)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Wolf Hawkins was shown backstage preparing for his Cage Match with Rocky Golden. Hawkins’ stablemate and best friend Sammy Bach approached Wolf and once again tried to make him realize how foolish it was for him to take this match with the giant Golden. Hawkins still would hear nothing of it, as he felt the need to prove something to himself. Hawkins made it clear to Bach. “If I can’t defeat Golden, then I have no business ever wearing the TCW World Championship again.”</em> (90)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW Tag Team Championship!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Aaron Andrews & Ricky Dale Johnson defeated The Ying Yang Dragons ( c ) via Count Out</strong></p><p>

The Dragons were in firm control early in the match, thanks to a nice combination of Mikey James’ speed and Koshiro Ino’s power. But after grounding James, the duo of Andrews & RDJ were able to slow down the match and take a methodical approach. The two taunted the monster Ino, stuck on the apron, as they began to break down James limb by limb. </p><p> </p><p>

Yet, it only takes one mistake, and RDJ gave it to James, who reversed a powerslam into a huge tornado DDT. The last thing the challengers wanted to happen came to fruition, as the powerhouse Ino was brought back into the matchup. Ino managed to hit RDJ with the Kobra’s Bite right in the middle of the ring, but unfortunately Andrews had snuck in a blind tag and was now the legal man! Before Ino could piece that together, Andrews delivered a huge, smacking dropkick to the face of Koshiro.</p><p> </p><p>

Unexpectedly, Ino fell backwards into another blind tag, this time Mikey James coming in for the champions! The young studs of James & Andrews went at it full speed, with James gaining the edge by catching Andrews with a huge spinning kick. The action fell to the floor as James wiped Andrews out with a suicide dive. Referee Sam Sparrow began to count both men out while RDJ & Ino’s brawl also spilled to the floor. James & Andrews slowly stirred to their feet. James attempted to roll back into the ring, but Andrews pulled him away by his tights, and then sent the Tag Champ face first into the ring post! With James completely limp on the ringside floor, Andrews rolled back into the ring as Referee Sparrow reached the count of 10!</p><p> </p><p>

Although the titles obviously didn’t change hands, Andrews &RDJ still basked in the victory. Meanwhile, Ino and a medic checked out Mikey James, who had very glossy eyes after that brutal ring post shot. Andrews & RDJ pointed and laughed while they made their exit, and also took the time to let the Dragons know that the Tag Titles will soon be theirs! (77)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The Syndicate cut a promo about their Main Event Tag Team Match. They pretty much just taunted Rick Law & Steven Parker and made it perfectly clear that the Syndicate is just two powerful for a couple of punks thrown together. Or so they think!</em> (92)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Steel Cage Match!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Rocky Golden defeated Wolf Hawkins</strong></p><p>

The start of the match made Wolf Hawkins look completely foolish for wanting to step back into the ring with the monster Golden, especially a ring surrounded by a steel cage! Golden toyed with Hawkins and used the cage to punish his smaller opponent. But opportunity arose with a mistimed charge by Golden, for instead of hitting Hawkins with a big boot, Golden’s leg smashed off the cage. Instantly, we were back at Mayhem 18 when Hawkins chopped down the cherry tree known as Rocky Golden. </p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins did everything he possibly could to hurt that knee of Golden, whether it was smashing it off the cage or stretching it out around the ropes. With Golden barely able to stand, Hawkins looked to attempt an escape over the cage. But Golden was down not outside, which Hawkins soon learned when Golden powerbombed him off the cage! </p><p> </p><p>

As everyone watched Hawkins lay on the mat in immense pain, Wolf’s best friend Sammy Bach came to ringside and began to try and encourage Hawkins to fight back. For awhile, it seemed pointless as Golden began to punish Hawkins in any way possible. Yet no matter what he did, Golden could not keep Hawkins down for a 3 count!</p><p> </p><p>

It took an overconfident Golden to give Hawkins the opportunity to come back. Golden took too long to attempt a Powerbomb, allowing Hawkins to reverse it into an amazing hurricarana! The big man went flying, and ended up having his face smashed off the cage, leaving a cut over his eyebrow! With the giant dizzy on his feet, Hawkins went to the top rope, leaped off, and delivered a huge Super DDT on Golden!</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd was in an uproar as the giant had been left out cold! With his fans doing the classic Wolf howl, Hawkins began to fight back the pain and crawl to the cage door. Referee Sam Sparrow stood outside the cage and opened the door as Hawkins neared. Victory was in grasp, as Golden had yet to move a muscle! Hawkins crawled under the ropes and began to pull himself out…when <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><em>SAMMY BACH SMASHED THE CAGE DOOR ON HAWKINS’ SKULL!</em></span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd was in complete shock, and the rest booed the crap out of Sammy Bach. Bach, meanwhile, just stared coldly at Hawkins’ limp body laying inches away from the cage exit. Across the ring, Golden finally came to, and after piecing together what happened, he wasted no time to pounce. The arena deafened with boos as Golden pulled a gumby-like Hawkins to his feet, then connected with The Rocky Road! Golden made an unnecessary tight cover, as Referee Terakado counted to 3 without a flinch from Hawkins. </p><p> </p><p>

As Golden yelled at the referee to raise his arm, Bach left the arena without looking back at what he had caused. With a cold, emotionless expression on his face, Bach disappeared through the curtains without a single word. (89)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW International Championship!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Roger Cage defeated Joey Minnesota & Benny Benson to retain the TCW International Championship</strong></p><p>

This could be seen as the first real big test for the new TCW Phenomenon, for this was the first time we were going to see Roger Cage without Steve Devine in his corner. Still irate by Jay Chord’s betrayal, Devine sent Cage out to defend his title alone. It seemed like trouble at first, as Minnesota & Benson repeatedly dumped Cage out of the ring while the two fan favorites faced off in the ring. </p><p> </p><p>

The action was fast and intense. Any time one of the competitors got one over on another, the third participant was right there to knock them down. Rinse and repeat, over and over! The action soon became too intense for the ring and spilled out to the ring. As Minnesota & Cage brawled at ringside, Benson came flying out of the ring and wiped them out with a huge flip plancha!</p><p> </p><p>

The crowd was fully behind Benson after his amazing move. After sending Minnesota back into the ring, the two challengers had a crazy exchange of moves and reversals. Finally, after reversing the Empire Spiral on Minnesota, Benson was able to hit his finisher, The Shockwave from Next Year! Benson went to crawl into the cover, when Roger Cage came from behind and pulled Benson into a rollup! With a handful of tights, Cage got the 3 count before Benson could break free! </p><p> </p><p>

An irate Benson tried to explain to Referee Sam Sparrow what had occurred, but Cage wasted no time to flee the ring and grab his title gold. With a smile on his sweaty face, Cage clutched the title belt tightly to his chest all the way up the entranceway. (78)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>A music video was shown, promoting tonight’s main event and everything that has happened leading up to it. </em> (95)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><em>It’s Now Time....for the MAIN EVENT!</em></span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

The Syndicate (Tommy Cornell & Joss Thompson) vs Rick Law & Steven Parker</strong></p><p>

<em>If Law & Parker win, the man who gets the fall for his team will be the #1 Contender for the TCW World Championship. If The Syndicate wins, neither Law or Parker can be the next #1 Contender.</em></p><p> </p><p>

The crowd was fully behind the team of Law & Parker, so obviously they enjoyed the early part of the match when Law & Parker controlled the battle. They had the answer for whatever The Syndicate did and left Cornell & Thompson right on their rears. But a timely distraction by Thompson’s valet, Krissy Angelle, allowed Thompson to take Parker down a notch with a painful hot shot off the top rope. The Syndicate began to methodically break down Parker from there, while at the same taunting a pumped up Rick Law.</p><p> </p><p>

Thompson made a foolish mistake by trying to go aerial, which isn’t his game at all. Such a mistake resulted in Thompson getting Parker’s boot right in his kisser. Thompson made the tag to Cornell, but at the same time Rick Law was brought in and ran amok! Cornell was sent flying all over the ring as Law hit him with everything but the kitchen sink. It looked like this match was over when Law hit Cornell with the Squad Car Slam, but Thompson was able to break up fall! The 300lbs Law was brought down to Earth by one simple eye rake by Cornell, which Referee Terakado did not see because he was too busy trying to get Thompson out of the ring. One big neckbreaker by Cornell left Rick Law a captive of the Syndicate’s side of the ring. </p><p> </p><p>

But with the crowd behind him, Rick Law would not give up, even with all the various submissions Cornell & Thompson applied on the big guy. It looked like Cornell finally had Law going with a tight sleeper, but with the crowd clapping their hands for him, Law forced himself up to his feet with Cornell on his back. Law then fell backwards, crushing Cornell between the mat and his 300 pounds! Cornell and Law crawled to their corners, and here came the hot tag!</p><p> </p><p>

Steven Parker back came into the match like a mad man and fully recovered from the beating he took earlier in the match. Over and over again he dropped Thompson with clotheslines before sending Cornell flying off the apron with a big forearm. As Thompson tried to regain his composure, Parker came racing off the ropes and dang near took his head with The Tooth Fairy Kick! Krissy Angelle once again saved the day by distracting Referee Tarakado long enough that the referee was late to count Parker’s pinfall. The end result was a 2 count rather than the possible 3. Parker shared some words with Angelle, which allowed Cornell to sneak up behind Parker and deliver a perfect German Suplex. As Parker rolled from the ring, Rick Law reached out and tagged himself back into the ring. Cornell had no clue, but soon did as Law rushed him and clotheslined him out of the ring!</p><p> </p><p>

Thompson & Law were left in the ring, and Law looked primed to finish the match. Law ran off the ropes and looked to hit the Strong Arm of the Law, but Thompson ducked under Law’s maneuver! A timely kick to the knee dropped the 300 pounder, allowing Thompson to connect with a DDT. Thompson got a nearfall while Cornell & Parker began to brawl outside the ring. After a poke to the eye, Cornell gained the edge. But that soon changed as Parker reversed an irish whip and sent the World Champ crashing into the steel steps!</p><p> </p><p>

Back in the ring, Thompson stalked Law as he rose to his feet. Thompson set Law up, looking to end this match with his finisher, The Clean Cutter. But it’s easier said than done to lift a 300 pounder, especially when that big boy fights with all his might. Finally, Law broke free by lifting Thompson up in the air and throwing him across the ring. As Thompson struggled to his feet, Law rushed off the ropes and walloped him with the Strong Arm of the Law, making the crowd explode into cheers! Rick Law shook out the cobwebs from the big DDT and crawled into the cover. Meanwhile, Parker slid back into the ring and make the cover on Thompson, too! With both men on top of Thompson, Referee Terakado looked confused for a moment, then finally dropped down to count! 1...2…3! Rick Law & Steven Parker win! (80)</p><p> </p><p>

As Rick Law’s music blared throughout the arena, Law & Parker rose to their feet and began to argue over who won the match for their team. It got heated quick as they got right in each other’s face, and even began to shove each other! Law & Parker then turned their attention to Referee Terakado and demanded an answer as to who was the #1 Contender. A very nervous Terakado tried to explain the situation to Law & Parker, who didn’t seem satisfied with the referee’s words! Finally, Terakado grabbed both Law & Parker by the arms and raised them high, apparently pronouncing them both the #1 Contender to the TCW World Championship!</p><p> </p><p>

Law & Parker still continued to exchange words even after the referee’s decision, but finally they let it go for now and began to celebrate with the crowd. Meanwhile, Tommy Cornell stood outside the ring and looked on in complete horror. Obviously, the champ never expected this to happen! All Cornell could do was clutch his World Title, and watch BOTH his title challengers celebrate their big victory! (100)</p><p> </p><p>

TCW – July 2014

Current Storylines

Triple Threat….err…Fatal Four Way for the TCW World Title!

After Excessive Force, TCW already began to advertise their main event for TCW Summer Showdown. Tommy Cornell had 2 title challengers for his gold. TCW’s Law Enforcer Rick Law and Cornell’s former stablemate, Steven Parker.

Unfortunately, at the end of Total Wrestling on Wednesday – Week 1, Rocky Golden had other plans….

http://i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag123/dbritton987/RockyGoldenDestroys_zps9e9a9d32.jpg

Rocky Golden came out the following week on Total Wrestling and made his intentions clear. He just came off defeating former World Champion Wolf Hawkins at 2 Straight Pay-Per-Views. He has been plowing through the competition, sometimes 2 or 3 at a time. Plain and simple, he wasn’t waiting around for a title shot. He was taking one!

Unfortunately for the World Champ, the TCW Board agreed with Golden and therefore added the giant to the title match at Summer Showdown, making it a Fatal Four Way. Rick Law & Steven Parker, however, have welcomed the challenge. Parker even went out of his way to challenge Golden to a match on Total Wrestling. A temporary alliance between Golden & Cornell, though, assisted in Golden gaining the victory, followed by a beatdown upon Parker and even Law, who attempted to rescue Steven.

Days leading into Summer Showdown, the obvious tag match of Cornell & Golden versus Law & Parker took place to hype the huge title match. Law & Parker would win the match by disqualification following Cornell using a steel chair on Parker, but it was the events after the bell that has gotten TCW pumped for this Sunday. Parker recovered from the chair shot and instigated a giant brawl between all four competitors. Security and referees appeared to try to break the four men up as Total Wrestling went off air.

This Sunday’s Main Event is guaranteed to have some crazy action and mass warfare. Cornell has a 25% Chance of keeping the TCW World Gold. Can Rough Justice beat those odds, or will we will see a new champion crowned?

A New Bach Reveals Himself as Generation Now Implodes

The TCW World is still shocked by what happened at Excessive Force, when Sammy Bach blasted his friend Wolf Hawkins with the steel cage door, halting any chance of Hawkins defeating Rocky Golden. Bach left the arena that night with an emotionless expression and without speaking a single word.

A new Sammy Bach appeared 3 Days later on Total Wrestling. Bach appeared with sunglasses and a black suit with his hair trimmed shorter. Bach came out and said that since 2007 when he joined TCW, no one has looked at him as a threat. He was simply the “fan favorite underdog who people loved to cheer,” but no one had any faith in him becoming anything special. For awhile, that was good enough for him, because he was in the big time.

But that changed, and Wolf Hawkins helped change that. Sammy Bach accused of Hawkins of being selfish, of caring for only himself during his obsession to defeat Rocky Golden. Because of Hawkins’ obsession, Sammy Bach was injured by Golden. Their friends Benny Benson & Greg Black had been viciously beaten down by Golden. When Golden had injured Wolf Hawkins, Bach challenged Golden to gain some revenge. Bach claims he never received a thank you for sticking up for his friend.

But even with all that, Bach went on to thank Wolf Hawkins. He thanked him for opening his eyes. No more will Bach be okay with being the “sidekick, the buddy buddy underdog.”

”I am not a child. I am not some young rookie for you people to cheer. I am 36 years old. I am a man ready to bring change to TCW in my own way. This is no boy before you. I am not Sammy Bach. My name is Samuel. I am Samuel Bach. I will bring revolution to TCW.”

This new, brooding Bach has been the talk of TCW for the past month. Meanwhile, Wolf Hawkins has had a hard time accepting what had occurred at Excessive Force. Hawkins wished to speak to Bach about what happened, but Bach has had no interest in doing so.

Hawkins finally woke up two weeks ago on Total Wrestling and finally began to realize that his best friend was gone. Samuel Bach defeated former friend Greg Black in a match, then followed it by delivering a beatdown on Black with a steel chair. Wolf Hawkins came to the rescue of Black, while Bach exited the ring before Hawkins could enter. Bach then left the arena with the same expressionless look. Following that, Hawkins stormed into Tommy Cornell’s office to demand a match with Bach, which he will receive at Summer Showdown.

Four days ago on Total Wrestling, after Wolf Hawkins’ match with Matthew Keith, Samuel Bach raced down to the ring to attempt a sneak attack on Hawkins. But right before entering the ring, Bach stopped and just began to stare at Hawkins while the two met eye to eye. Then, Bach began to laugh heartily before turning and exiting the arena. Needless to say, this new Bach is playing some dark mind games with his former best friend.

This could be the most emotional match TCW has seen in quite some time. Will Wolf Hawkins be able to overcome the idea of fighting his former best friend to gain some well deserved revenge? Or will he fall fate to this revolution that Samuel Bach speaks of?

Nowhere for Cameron Vessey to Run This Time

Of all the people disgusted with the way Cameron Vessey got himself DQ’ed at Excessive Force, there was no one more disgusted than the TCW Board. It didn’t take long for them to set the rematch between Vessey and Eddie Peak for Summer Showdown. But this time, they were going to make sure Vessey couldn’t just low blow Peak and run away. This time, Peak & Vessey will be paired with dog collars with a thick steel chain connecting the two. That’s right, they will be competing in a Dog Collar Match!

While Vessey claims he shows no fear for the former TCW World Champ, his actions would say otherwise. He never faces off with Peak without some Syndicate help. Plus, two weeks on Total Wrestling, he left his partner John Anderson high and dry when Eddie Peak stormed to the ring.

Needless to say, there will be nowhere for Vessey to run at Summer Showdown. Will Eddie Peak have the pleasure of hurting the man who cost him the TCW World Title? Or will Cameron Vessey pull a Cornell and get the Syndicate win?

Benny Benson Gets Another Crack at TCW International Championship

Following Roger Cage’s shady title defense at Excessive Force, Benson kept himself in the International Title picture by pinning Cage in a tag team match on the following episode of Total Wrestling. For the past month, these two men have had altercations every week, whether it was in tag team matches or had to watch their allies face off with their rival. Roger Cage has defeated Benson’s tag partner Greg Black in singles competition, while Cage has cost Benson a match against his mentor, Steve Devine. Benson, though, has gotten the best of Cage in two tag team matches.

It all leads to Summer Showdown, where Benson finally gets to face Cage one on one for the International Championship! Will the wildly veteran get back the gold he wore two years ago, or will the new TCW Phenomenon continue his hot streak?

The Tag Champs Take on the Combo of Veteran & Rising Star…Again!

After Aaron Andrews & Ricky Dale Johnson defeated the Ying Yang Dragons by Count Out at Excessive Force, a rematch was a given. But after the last match got super crazy by the outcome, Tommy Cornell decided to let that craziness run throughout the match this time, right at the ring of the bell. Cornell made this title match a Tornado Tag match, meaning all four competitors can be in the ring at the same time.

Andrews & RDJ claim they are the true TCW Tag Team Champions. But as impressive as their victory was at Excessive Force, it was still only a Count Out Victory. Time will tell if they can get the definitive victory and walk out of Summer Showdown with the gold.

Koshiro Ino & Mikey James, meanwhile, has been quite successful since winning the Tag Gold all the way back in February. But it is quite obvious Andrews & RDJ are their biggest challenges since they took the titles off the Diamond Cutters. Can they overcome the odds once again, or will their lengthy title run finally come to an end at Summer Showdown?

Mentor & Pupil go to War at Summer Showdown

Jay Chord finally had enough of Steve Devine’s tough love and left him high and dry at Excessive Force during their tag team match. Needless to say, we all knew this match was going to happen eventually. Devine wishes to extract some revenge on Chord, whom he calls a “no good puppy.” Jay Chord, meanwhile, wants to prove that he is ready for the big time and can keep up with the best of them. If he can defeat Steve Devine at Summer Showdown, he will certainly open the eyes of many in TCW.

Will Jay Chord get the biggest win of his career? Or will it be Steve Devine teach this “puppy” a few lessons this Sunday?

TCW Signs 3 New PPV Deals

TCW ensured that their audience will get even larger in the next year. This month, the company signed contracts with American-1 Select, Premier Pay CAN-TV, & Demand-TV Mexico. All three are upgrades on the previous PPV Carriers that TCW were contracted with.

A Manager Overhaul in TCW

A year ago, TCW brought in a lot of young managers to their developmental system, CCW. They saw the use in these managers to help their in-ring talent.

One year later, a lot of those contracts are set to expire, and TCW has announced that they don’t plan on signing many of these managers or valets back besides a few exceptions. While they didn’t go into descriptions, it seems that many of them have not impressed enough to receive another contract.

TCW has gone another route though in upgrading their managers. Now that the borders have opened due to their International Size, they plan on bringing in some veteran managers from around the world to help along younger talent who need that voice to assist them. A couple of them have already been signed, but more could be coming very soon!

Roger Cage defeated Benny Benson to retain the TCW International Championship</strong></p><p>

For the 2nd PPV in a row, Cage went to the ring to defend his gold solo, as his mentor/manager Steve Devine was busy preparing for his match later. At first it seemed like a mistake, as the challenger Benson started off this match on fire. Cage was able to ground Benson and gain some close nearfalls, but Benson fought back. As the match neared its conclusion, Benson had the champ rocking and almost got the win on 2 2 ¾ counts. But an unwise decision to climb to the top rope allowed Cage to recover and throw Benson off and hard to the mat. Benson was left in major trouble, as he was easy pickings for the Rage Cage. Roger Cage got the big win, and his first clean title defense! Yay! (82)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Four Way Tag Team Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Cold Blooded Assassins defeated Blue Collar, The Canadian Animals, & The New Wave</strong></p><p>

TCW’s Tag Team Division showed why they’re always an exciting aspect of the best wrestling company in the world with ten of the most thrill seeking minutes you’ll ever see. The action never stopped for a second as these teams went out, knowing a tag title bout could be in their future if they got the W. Blue Collar were the first eliminated, when New Wave were able to double team Joel Bryant and hit the Wave of Mutilation. The Canadian Animals were next to go after Edd Stone missed with a top rope moonsault, allowing Minnesota to easily hit the Empire Spiral. It was all down to CBA & The New Wave, and with these 4 bruisers it quickly became a knockout, drag out affair! It came down to Joey Minnesota dumping Scout to floor, leaving Guide all by himself and a victim of CBA’s dual submission finisher, The Double Tap! It wasn’t long before Guide was slapping the mat, giving Minnesota & Garner the victory. (75)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Dog Collar Match!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Eddie Peak defeated Cameron Vessey</strong></p><p>

You got to give credit where it is due, with John Anderson in his corner, Cameron Vessey came to fight the monster Eddie Peak tonight and never backed down for a second. The problem is? His bravery earned a major ass whooping by the man he had cost the TCW World Title! Not only that, Peak put that thick steel chain to work and used it by any means he could think of to harm Vessey.</p><p> </p><p>

Vessey did fight back though, thanks in part to John Anderson interfering and blasting Peak with a steel chair. Vessey took over the match and nearly choked out Peak with the steel chain. It looked all but over when Vessey impressed us all by lifting up the massive Peak and delivered the Vessey Driver, but it didn’t put Peak away!</p><p> </p><p>

Vessey did all he could, but with blood coming down his face, Peak fought back into the match. Vessey was left teetering and also bloody after a big punch with the chain wrapped around Peak’s fist. John Anderson tried to interfere once more to help, but received a Choke Slam from Peak for his trouble. With Vessey barely able to stand, Peak wrapped the steel chain around his throat and then locked in the Straight Jacket! No low blow by Vessey this time, Peak dragged him to the mat and locked in the submission tightly. With blood all over both men, Referee Terakado called for the bell after Vessey had officially been choked unconscious! Eddie Peak finally gets his revenge! (87)</p><p> </p><p>

Tornado Tag Team Match</span></strong></p><p><strong>

The Ying Yang Dragons defeated Aaron Andrews & Ricky Dale Johnson to retain the TCW Tag Team Championship</strong></p><p>

These two tag teams went to war for the second time, and with the tension getting even hotter, you can sense those punches and kicked were pulled even less this time around! The action was hot and steady as all four men were allowed in the match at all times due to Tornado Rules. At first it gave the advantage to younger team, The Dragons. But after Andrews & RDJ were able to ground the giant Koshiro Ino by chopping him down at the knee, the challengers were able to double team Mikey James and take full advantage of the match.</p><p> </p><p>

The Dragons fought through adversity and got back into this match, mainly thanks to Ino fighting back on pretty much one leg. At this match went back the 10 minute mark, it was obviously taking its toll on the 44 year old RDJ. After Aaron Andrews was taken out by a Mikey James suicide dive, RDJ was left to fend off Koshiro Ino in the ring, and soon fell victim to a Ino powerslam. With Andrews down at ringside, RDJ had no one to help him as Mikey James went to the top rope. Ino sent him partner flying, as the champs hit the Dragon-Pault for the victory! (86)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>A music video was played, highlighting everything that has happened leading up to the Battle of Former Friends, Wolf Hawkins versus Samuel Bach.</em> (96)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Battle of Former Friends!</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Wolf Hawkins defeated Samuel Bach by Disqualification </strong></p><p>

Bach continued to play his mind games right away by refusing to fight at the start of the match. After fleeing the ring numerous times, Hawkins finally went after Bach at ringside and began to brawl with his former friend right before the front row. After the match got back into the ring, the match’s speed finally picked up as the two of the best high fliers in the game proved why they’re exactly that. Bach’s ring work though changed right along with his new attitude. It wasn’t below him to choke Hawkins in the corner until Referee Terakado finally pulled him off.</p><p> </p><p>

Bach was firmly in charge in the middle of the match, and even began to taunt Hawkins with slaps and calling him “buddy” and “friend.” Looking back, it was a foolish move because it only lit a fire in Hawkins to get back into the match. The match picked up once more as Hawkins’ adrenaline rush sent him flying off the ropes and knocking Bach down over and over. </p><p> </p><p>

Bach looked like he was finally going to get what he deserved as Hawkins was in full control at the 20 minute mark. It was then Bach came to his knees before Hawkins and began to beg for forgiveness! The crowd began to boo as it seemed Hawkins believed Bach! Who could blame Hawkins as he looked down at the man he called his best friend for so long begging for mercy. Bach’s pleading though left Hawkins incapable of seeing a massive boot coming at him as it damn near caved in his skull! Referee Terakado called for the bell as Hawkins fell lifeless to the mat…<strong>as Mighty Mo stood over his body! WTF?! Mighty Mo?!</strong> (81)</p><p> </p><p>

The arena exploded with boos as Bach rose to his feet, laughing heartily. Bach then slapped Mo on the shoulder and told him to “do your worst.” Mo dragged Hawkins to his feet, then raced off the ropes and hit the Mighty KO! Mighty Mo pushed Referee Terakado aside as Bach climbed to the top rope, laughing all the way. Bach launched off, and crushed Hawkins under him with his patented Shooting Star Press! With glee, Bach came to one knee and patted Hawkins on the head. Bach repeated the same words to Hawkins then. “I told you so…I told you so…”</p><p> </p><p>

With his new ally standing behind him, Bach looked out to the disgruntled crowd. Bach raised his arms out to the side and yelled…</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><em>BELIEVE IN ME! BELIEVE...IN REVOLUTION!</em></strong> (97)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steve Devine defeated Jay Chord</strong></p><p>

It was evident that Devine came into this match underestimating Jay Chord, and he soon paid the price as the blue chipper brought the fight to his former mentor. Devine was soon left in shock as Chord rocked him from post to post and nearly got the win on several occasions. But Devine was the veteran, and he was able to fight back and take over the match. It was soon déjà vu soon, and it just allowed Devine to get cocky all over again, and it allowed Jay Chord to get right back into the match! Chord looked primed to win and had Devine set up for his Cradle Piledriver, but Devine was able to break free and get Chord into a roll up position! With a help from a handful of tights, Devine got the 3 Count! Jay Chord tried to plead his case to Referee Sparrow, but the decision was final, and Chord was forced to watch Devine celebrate his victory all the way up the entranceway. (80)</p><p> </p><p>

The two behemoths, Law & Golden, sent their small counterparts out of the ring rather quickly, allowing the crowd to drool over these two big boys going at it. They didn’t disappoint, as Law & Golden squared off and delivered some big shots. Law was able to take charge, and the crowd erupted in cheers when he dropped the giant Law with a big clothesline! Cornell & Parker got back into the match, using their speed to their advantage on the big man, leaving this match up for grabs. </p><p> </p><p>

The ring couldn’t handle all four of these men though, as a lot of this match took place at ringside, and some of it in the crowd and up the entrance way. Cornell soon paid the price for dragging Rick Law onto the steel rampway, for his attempt at a piledriver led to only Law back tossing Cornell onto the unforgiving steel. Meanwhile, while Golden began to toy with Parker at ringside, the tide turned quickly after Parker clocked the giant with the ring bell!</p><p> </p><p>

Plain and simple, these four men beat the piss out of each for over twenty minutes. It all led back to the squared circle and many nearfalls. All four men came close to winning the match, but each time there was someone else there to spoil the opportunity for them. Finally, after dumping Cornell to the floor, Law & Parker, the two faces, found themselves going at it in the middle of the ring. Parker tried to use his speed to topple the 300 pounder, but Law was able to outmanuever Parker and connect with the Strong Arm of the Law! Unfortunately for Law, Parker smartly rolled out of the ring before he could be covered!</p><p> </p><p>

Law was left frustrated, and it left him defenseless as he walked right into Golden, who lifted the 300 Pounder right off his feet. The Rocky Road! Golden hit his finisher on Law! Law was motionless, and as Golden tried to roll 300 pounds of dead weight over, Cornell came from behind and clobbered Golden with Law’s Night Stick! The Ultimate Opportunist, Cornell took the cover on Law as Golden laid faced down beside them! 1…2…3! <strong>Tommy Cornell stole the victory, and is still the World Champ!</strong> (88)</p><p> </p><p>

Cornell grabbed the World Title from Referee Terakado and began to show it off to the crowd with a big ol’ smile. Cornell taunted them all and told the fans that he proved them all wrong! His foolish celebrating left Cornell unaware that Golden was back on his feet, and he…was…PISSED! Cornell turned around, and walked right into Golden’s grip! Golden hits another Rocky Road! </p><p> </p><p>

Golden stood over the motionless champion seething. His attention was turned when he saw Steven Parker getting up outside the ring, and instantly stormed over and dragged Parker back into the ring. Looking to take out more frustration, Golden set Parker up for the Rocky Road, but Parker broke off before he could! Golden turned around and was dropped to one knee by a perfect dropkick by Parker. Parker jumped back up, raced off the ropes, and damn near took the giant’s head off with The Tooth Fairy Kick! </p><p> </p><p>

The crowd erupted in cheers for Parker, as The Future circled the ring pumped up about what has just occurred. Parker’s attention then swayed towards the TCW World Title lying next to Tommy Cornell. For a good moment Parker stared at the gold, and then finally turned to the crowd. <strong>“It will be mine soon!”</strong> (100)</p><p> </p><p>

The scene opens up to a huge press conference at TCW Headquarters. Photographers are already snapping their shots, as they’re prepared for huge news. Undoubtedly it will be, because every single TCW superstars has been called to the press conference in the giant auditorium at TCW Headquarters. Discussions picks up as TCW Owner & TCW World Heavyweight Champion Tommy Cornell finally appears and takes his spot behind the podium.

Cornell Thank you everyone for meeting here today. After TCW hit International size a few months ago, the rumors began to explode about what the next step for TCW would be. The roster has gotten a lot larger in the past year and a half as TCW has become, without a shadow of a doubt, the #1 Wrestling Company in the World. Admittedly, TCW had some dark days, and we were in a financial crisis for awhile. But after some very successful business decisions, TCW is in the best financial position it has even been.

Cornell pauses to take a drink of water.

Cornell: Several years ago, due to financial concerns, TCW had no choice but to cut down to one television show per week. Starting the first week of September, it is my pleasure to announce that TCW Saturday Night Showcase is returning to television!

The auditorium explodes into questions from both the wrestlers and journalists, but Cornell quickly calms them down.

Cornell: Please be quiet, I will be not taking questions today, and you’ll see why in a moment. Yes, Saturday Night Showcase will be airing Saturday Nights on USA Sports for the next 4 seasons. USA Sports & GNN Total Sports offered contracts to us, and as much we appreciate GNN for their contributions for TCW Total Wrestling, we chose to go with USA Sports for our second show due to their influence in the Australia area, which is the only area TCW currently doesn’t broadcast in. This contract with USA Sports will officially make TCW the worldwide sensation I knew it could always be.

The TCW roster applauds Cornell’s praise for his company.

Cornell: Now, with this announcement becomes one just as big. I’m here to announce that the rumor you’ve heard for so long is true. With the roster growing rapidly and with this new TV contract, The TCW Main Roster will be split into 2 brands! One brand will appear on TCW Total Wrestling, & the other will appear on Saturday Night Showcase.

The TCW Roster roars up into noise, which forces Cornell to wave his hands down.

Cornell: Calm down, your contracts will stay the same, and both brands will come together at the end of the month for each PPV. But this brand split will help promote more talented superstars than we ever could possibly do with just one brand and one show. Right now, in the front of the world, we will begin the TCW Draft, splitting between the two brands, Total Wrestling & Saturday Night Showcase. We will do the first five rounds right now, live on television, then the rest will be done online at http://www.TCWWrestling.com. Furthermore, to keep things fresh, every month a member of each brand will be randomly drawn to be sent over to the other brand, which will happen the first week of every month. The only exempts from this drawing will be current champions of that brand. Also, TCW managers and valets will be open to join whichever brand, but they must stick to only one.

Cornell takes another sip of water.

Cornell: Lastly, before we begin the TCW Draft, I have one more announcement. I, Tommy Cornell, will be in charge of the Total Wrestling Brand. But, as of today, I am appointing someone to be the official General Manager of Saturday Night Showcase, and they will be 100% in charge of the show. This man has been with TCW for what seems like forever. He is TCW. He has done it all, and he has worn plenty of gold. Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to give to you the Saturday Night Show General Manager…Ricky Dale Johnson.

The TCW Roster roars into mixed emotion as RDJ appears in a suit. RDJ shakes hands with Cornell before the longtime rivals-now business partners pose for photographs. RDJ takes his place at the podium.

RDJ Today, folks, I take the next step in my career. No, I am not retiring from the ring just yet, though that door is closing. No, I am simply looking towards the future and to what I can bring to Saturday Night Showcase. I promise you, I will make SNS the best show you can possibly imagine, week in and week out. I promise to be fair…

Some in the crowd says “bulls***,” which gets a good laugh. RDJ ignores it.

RDJ…I promise to be respectful, and I promise the TCW fans that they will never turn off their televisions disappointed. Thank you.

Cornell retakes the podium.

Cornell: Thank you Rick, and I look forward to a great business partnership. Now, let’s begin this draft, as undoubtedly in these first five rounds, the biggest names in TCW will be split in two. Now, here are the rules. As TCW Owner, I will make the first pick, and then RDJ will go, and so forth. At any point one of us can pick a TCW Tag Team, but in doing so, we forfeit our next draft pick, and the other individual can go twice in a row. The last thing we want is to have TCW’s finest tag teams split, not right now with these brands becoming anew. Do you understand the rules, Rick?

RDJ: Yes, Tom, I do.

Cornell: Well, without further to do, let’s get this draft started. I thought long and hard as to whom should be my pick, the #1 Draft Pick for the Total Wrestling brand. And after a long deliberation, I realized there was only one decision. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give to you the #1 Draft Pick for Total Wrestling…The #1 Contender to my World Title…Steven Parker!

Rumblings arise as people are shocked by the decision. A confused Steven Parker rises from his seat, and walks onto the stage. Parker & Cornell have a very uncomfortable staredown and even more odd handshake.

Cornell: Surprised, Steven? My reasoning is simple. A) You are the future. That is something I cannot deny. And B) I’m The Present, and I plan on putting you in your place as long as I’m around!

Cornell’s words make Parker laugh. Parker backs off, acting professionally. But we can all read his lips with the one sentence he says. “See you in two weeks, boss!” RDJ takes the podium.

RDJ: As much as I like what Parker brings, I know it is important to make Saturday Night Showcase stand out on his own. I don’t want it to be Total Wrestling #2. I know there is one man in this room that has the ability to do that. A man who has been scratching at his opportunity, and with his new attitude, he won’t be held down any longer. This man speaks revolution, and I will allow him a chance to bring it on Saturday Night Showcase. Ladies and Gents, my #1 Pick is none other than…Samuel Bach!

Cameras catch Samuel Bach & Mohammed Barrett standing in the backroom away from the rest of the roster. Bach offers nothing from the announcement, but just watches as the rest of the room reacts to his drafting.

Cornell: Interesting pick, Rick. With my #2 Pick, yes, I admit it, I’m looking out for myself. The two things closest to my heart are TCW and my World Title. But the 3rd thing is The Syndicate. The Syndicate is my child, and it is mine to keep. With that said, I take my first step at keep my group intact. My #2 Pick is my protégé…led by his beautiful valet Krissy Angelle...Joss Thompson!

Joss Thompson & Krissy Angelle rise from their seats. Thompson shakes hands with Cornell, while Angelle gives her boss a big hug.

RDJ: I completely respect that move, I understand it. But for me, Tom, I want to ensure that there is always something spicy for people to look forward to on SNS. I want the fans to be clamoring to tune in every Saturday. And what better way than to have the hottest feud in TCW today on my show? What better way than to have my #2 Pick be the archrival of my #1 Pick?! That’s right folks, my #2 Pick is none than the former TCW World Champion, Wolf Hawkins!

Wolf Hawkins steps onto the stage, and after sharing some words with his former mentor Cornell, Hawkins shares a cautious handshake with RDJ. Hawkins then has some words with Samuel Bach in the back of the room. With a mocking smile, Samuel Bach gives Hawkins a golf clap.

Cornell: I gotta say, I’m pretty jealous of that pick. We may have our trouble, but not doubt, Wolf Hawkins is ratings! But so is this next man. I’ve had my trouble with him, but there is no denying that. But the TCW fans love this man, and that’s all that matters to me. If you get me ratings, then that’s all that matters in the end! My #3 Pick is TCW’s Own Lawman, Rick Law!

Rick Law rises from his seat at the applause of his colleagues. Cornell welcomes Law up to the podium, but Law doesn’t seem pleased with the idea. Instead, he waves his Night Stick at Cornell and tells him to “watch his back.”

RDJ: Well, I have another fan favorite in mind, and another you know, Tom. One we all know! I’m surprise he’s gotten this far without being picked, because this man is the ultimate anti-hero, and I know having him on my show will boost ratings. SNS has now gone a little crazy, because my #3 Pick is the former TCW World Champion, The King of the Insane Asylum, Eddie Peak!

Eddie Peak is nowhere to be seen, although out of the blue, the lights in the room begin to flicker. And in the distance, everyone hears the ring of church bells. As peculiar as it was, everyone shakes the occurrence off.

Cornell: Well I’m not going to miss that monster, that’s for sure. But because you took a giant, I have no choice but to rebuttal with another giant. THE Giant of TCW. Ladies and Gentlemen, this man has been unstoppable since his change of attitude. Trust me, I’ve felt what he can do. This mammoth of a man stays on Total Wrestling, for my #4 Pick is Rocky Golden!

From the crowd of TCW wrestlers, the giant Rocky Golden stands up and hovers over the masses. Golden looks over the wrestlers, as most of them are intimidated just by the giant standing up straight.

RDJ: Well, I will have to follow your lead Tom, that is earlier when you ensured that you kept your alliances intact. I don’t have a stable, but I have a young man I have been grooming to become TCW World Heavyweight Champion. He is at the doorstep, but I am bringing him to Saturday Nights to ensure that his progress never ceases. Ladies and Gents, my #4 Pick is the Chosen One, Aaron Andrews!

A very happy Aaron Andrews rushes the stages and hugs his mentor RDJ, and then respectfully shakes hands with the boss, Cornell.

Cornell: Well, I’m going to round out this press conference on my end the right way. I know how important the TCW Tag Team Division is to the company, and it’s time to ensure that it’s always thriving on Total Wrestling. That is why I am forfeiting my #6 Pick, because my #5 Pick is both Koshiro Ino & Mikey James, The TCW Tag Team Champions, The Ying Yang Dragons!

Ino & James respectfully take the stage and shake hands with both Cornell & RDJ, despite their past issues with both men. Both retake their seats without a single word.

RDJ: Okay, let’s send everyone home happy. Tom, while I agree with you that the Tag Division is crucial, but so is the International Championship, for it is the stepping stone that up and coming stars use to get noticed. And thus, I want it on Saturday Night Showcase! You took the Tag Titles, Tom? Then I’ll take the International Title, because my #5 Pick is TCW’s Newest Phenomenon, “Smooth” Roger Cage!

An ecstatic Roger Cage jumps to his feet, pumping his fist. Excited to be chosen, Cage rushes the stage and hugs both Cornell & RDJ, leaving both men very uncomfortable. And...of course…Smooth takes a moment to pose for the ladies!

Cornell: Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for being here today, and make sure you go the TCW Website to watch the rest of the draft results. Now, before I let you go, I want to let you know what the future holds for TCW. Obviously, with a new brand, we will have new championships debuting soon, especially on SNS. Depending how the next few pay-per-views go, we might even consider adding some single brand PPVs to the TCW Schedule in the future. But the one thing I would like to address is the one thing TCW is missing. It’s the one thing we never bothered with because I wanted to make sure when TCW debuted it that it would be done correctly. What I am speaking about is a TCW Women’s Division. One day, TCW will have its own Women’s Division. There is a crop of talented female wrestlers, waiting for their chance, and we will give them their chance someday. But when we do, we will do it right. They won’t get a measly five minutes on a testosterone filled man’ show. They won’t be just a bunch of tits and ass in bra and panties. They will have their own show, where they can show off their true talents, and so people can enjoy what exactly these women bring to the table. But if they want to dress half naked when they do it, that’s up to them! So ladies of wrestling? Stay next to your phones, because in the next year, Tommy Cornell might be giving you a ring!

Cornell gets some chuckles and applause for his words.

Cornell: That’s it for today, no questions please, and see ya on Wednesday Night for TCW Total Wrestling!

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW – August 2014</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current Storylines</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Rough Justice versus The Future!</strong></p><p>

Ever since being kicked out of The Syndicate, Steven Parker has had two goals. To gain revenge on his stablemates, and to become TCW World Heavyweight Champion. In just one night, at Hotter Than Hell, Parker could achieve both goals. </p><p> </p><p>

Tommy Cornell won the Fatal Four Way at Summer Showdown to retain his World Title. But after some ruckus following the match, it was Steven Parker who left Summer Showdown standing. On the following episode of Total Wrestling, the gauntlet was thrown down. Steven Parker and Joss Thompson would face in the main event. If Parker won, he would get another crack at the World Title. If Thompson won, then not only would Parker not receive a title shot, he would be sent to the bottom of the mountain and treated like a measly unnamed jobber.</p><p> </p><p>

Steven Parker defeated Joss Thompson, and Cornell has himself to blame after some botched interference. The past month was been a battle of one-upmanship. Both men have constantly attacked each other before and after matchups. Parker even cost Cornell (and Thompson) the 2014 Tag Team Elite Tournament.</p><p> </p><p>

The time for talk and sneak attacks are over. At Hotter Than Hell, for the first time ever, Cornell & Parker will face each other one on one. Will The Future achieve his destiny? Or will Steven Parker find himself with a bad case of “Rough Justice?”</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The War Between Former Best Friends Continues</strong></p><p>

We thought we were going to get answers when Wolf Hawkins & Samuel Bach finally battled at Summer Showdown. But instead, we were all left with more questions, as Bach deliberately got disqualified. Of all people, Mighty Mo came through the crowd and blasted Wolf Hawkins, causing the DQ. Following that, Bach & Mo delivered a massive beatdown to Hawkins, as Bach’s so-called “Revolution” continued.</p><p> </p><p>

On the following Total Wrestling, Bach explained his alliance with Mo. It was simple. Just like Bach, Mighty Mo is a talented superstar that has never been taken seriously and never has been given a chance. He was given a goofy stage name and left to spoil in jobber status. “Just like I will no longer accept being what you people want, no longer will he. No longer will he be known by his gimmick, Mighty Mo. But instead, just like myself, he will be known by his real name, <strong>Mohammed Barrett.</strong>”</p><p> </p><p>

Meanwhile, Wolf Hawkins has no interest in all this talk. He wants Samuel Bach in another match, and Bach is gladly giving in to him…and in a Street Fight this time around! Hawkins knows the odds going in and he doesn’t care, he just wants to knock some sense into Bach and rid TCW of his desire for anarchy. Bach has continued his mind games throughout the month, including pulling Mohammed Barrett out of his one on one match with Hawkins after just a few minutes. Barrett purposely got counted out, just so Bach could continue his games.</p><p> </p><p>

The games are over. The Street Fight begins. Will Wolf Hawkins finally take down his former best friend? Or will Bach’s Revolution rise to another level?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Two Feuds Intertwine into Tag Team War</strong></p><p>

Rick Law & Rocky Golden has had issues for the past two months, especially after their participation in Summer Showdown’s main event for the TCW World Title. </p><p> </p><p>

The feud between Eddie Peak & Aaron Andrews began on Total Wrestling during Week 1 when Andrews attacked Peak with a steel chair during Peak’s match with Ricky Dale Johnson. </p><p> </p><p>

But in a snap of a moment, these feuds twisted together during a Total Wrestling Main Event, where Rick Law was competing against Aaron Andrews. Rocky Golden attacked Rick Law during the match, and Eddie Peak came down for the rescue. After that, a shaky alliance between Andrews & Golden was created to take down fan favorites Law & Peak.</p><p> </p><p>

Although Andrews & Golden succeeded once, Law & Peak aren’t backing off. In fact, they were the ones who asked for this tag team match at Hotter Than Hell. They both want a piece of Andrews & Golden, so why not work together?!</p><p> </p><p>

This promises to be one of the most star struck tag team matches in quite some time. Not only could revenge be on the line, with such big names involved, a spot in the World Title picture could be in the mix, too. When these four big names collide, which team will be the last one standing? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Last VIP Alliance Finally Desolves over The International Title</strong></p><p>

Sometimes, a protégé’s head gets too big and doesn’t think their mentor is worth their time anymore. After Jay Chord broke out from under Steve Devine and nearly defeated his former mentor, the rift between Devine and his prized protégé Roger Cage quickly began to spread. It started with some miscommunications that cost Roger Cage a match, followed by Steve Devine becoming the #1 Contender for Cage’s International Championship. Cage was displeased that Devine would even accept to participate in a Contender’s Match. Devine tried to explain to Cage that it was not a big deal, and that Devine just ensured that the title would stay with Cage, because he wouldn’t even use his guaranteed title shot. Roger, though, wasn’t satisfied with Devine’s reasoning. </p><p> </p><p>

Then it all began to blow up during the 2014 Tag Team Elite Tournament. Things looked good in the first round, as they successfully advanced in the tournament. But in the Semi-Finals, more miscommunications happen. Devine & Cage collided with each other, which led to Cage becoming victim of the Ying Yang Dragons and their Dragon-Pault. Devine tried to apologize, but Cage would not hear it.</p><p> </p><p>

The next episode of Total Wrestling, Cage & Devine would team again. This time, even though Roger Cage looked great, Devine was pinned and defeated. A very unhappy Cage looked like he was helping his mentor up, but then began to deliver a brutal beating on Steve Devine. Needless to say, their friendship was over.</p><p> </p><p>

On the following week of Total Wrestling, Cage was all smiles and was very proud of his actions. But that smile disappeared when Devine raced to the ring and began to pummel Cage. Cage quickly retreated, leaving Devine to seethe in the in the middle of the ring.</p><p> </p><p>

After what has occurred, Devine has used his #1 Contendership to challenge Cage at Hotter Than Hell. The gold is on the line, but obviously, this match is about much more. Who will win this battle that puts the final nail in the VIP stable coffin? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Tag Team Division Goes Spinning and sets up a Huge Triple Threat</strong></p><p>

It seemed simple after Total Wrestling during Week 1. John Anderson & Cameron Vessey, The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, won a Fatal Four Way, becoming the #1 Contenders for the TCW Tag Team Titles. They seemed primed to challenge The Ying Yang Dragons in a standard tag team match. </p><p> </p><p>

That all changed during the 2014 Tag Team Elite Tournament. In the first round, Joey Minnesota & Buddy Garner, the Cold Blooded Assassins, defeated DRS soundly and cleanly to advance in the tournament. Despite losing in the Semi-Finals, The Assassins made their case first to Tommy Cornell (who ignored it) and then the TCW Board about their right to the #1 Contendership. After consideration, The TCW Board added The Assassins to the Tag Team Title Match at Hotter Than Hell, making it a Triple Threat!</p><p> </p><p>

This promises to offer some crazy action. Koshiro Ino & Mikey James has been successful and dominant as champions, but the odds are stacked up against them this time. Who will leave Hotter Than Hell with the Tag Gold? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW News</span></strong></p><p><strong>

The deal is 100% done, and TCW plans to continue to expand Total Wrestling throughout the planet in the oncoming months. Total Wrestling has the best ratings on wrestling television right now, and TCW seems to be planning on making it bigger and bigger until they can be seen everywhere by anyone. </p><p> </p><p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW – September 2014</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current Storylines</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

Steven Parker builds a team to take down The Syndicate!</strong></p><p>

After Steven Parker’s DQ Victory over Tommy Cornell at Hotter Than Hell, he could have easily taken his rematch for the World Title at Destructive Energy. But Parker has grown tired of the rest of The Syndicate sticking their noses into his business, and he plans to do something about it. So the challenge was made by Parker to Tommy Cornell. Bring The Syndicate to Destructive Energy and meet Parker’s Team in the 4 on 4 Total Mayhem Match! </p><p> </p><p>

Cornell accepted the match with a smile, thinking that Parker couldn’t possibly build a team to defeat his empire. It didn’t take Parker long to find two of his partners, as The Ying Yang Dragons (Koshiro Ino & Mikey James) quickly jumped at the opportunity. The Dragons have had their issues with The Syndicate, as Cameron Vessey & John Anderson, known as the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, took the Tag Titles from the Dragons in dirty fashion (otherwise known as Syndicate fashion!). The Dragons had also save Parker from a Syndicate beatdown following Parker’s DQ victory over Tommy Cornell at Hotter Than Hell.</p><p> </p><p>

But who would be the 4th member of Team Parker? Tommy Cornell would ironically make the decision for Parker. In a Main Event of Total Wrestling, Cornell defeated Joey Minnesota with the help of his protégé Joss Thompson. The two began to lay a beatdown on Minnesota, and Parker raced down to the make the save. The following week, Minnesota returned the favor, and requested that he was made the 4th member of Team Parker! Parker gladly welcomed Minnesota to the team!</p><p> </p><p>

So the teams are set, and we are ready for Total Mayhem! Will Steven Parker’s rebel team take down the most infamous stable in TCW history? Or will they fall victim to Tommy Cornell’s empire known as The Syndicate? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The First Ever Legends Champion!</strong></p><p>

SNS General Manager Ricky Dale Johnson came out on the returning episode of Saturday Night Showcase and said that SNS needed a championship as prestigious as the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. RDJ stated that SNS was where the TCW Superstars came to become Legends. Therefore, there was only one championship worthy enough to represent SNS, and that was the brand new <strong>TCW Legends Championship!</strong></p><p> </p><p>

RDJ made 4 Qualifying Matches spanning over two episodes of SNS, where the winners would be entered in a huge Fatal Four Way at Destructive Energy to decide the first ever Legends Champion. The results were as follows:</p><p> </p><p>

Wolf Hawkins defeated Dark Angel (a surprise entry and TCW debut)</p><p> </p><p>

Eddie Peak defeated Roger Cage</p><p> </p><p>

Samuel Bach defeated Benny Benson</p><p> </p><p>

And finally, Aaron Andrews defeated Steve Devine</p><p> </p><p>

Hawkins, Peak, Bach & Andrews. The fatal four way is set to decide the major champion of SNS. To add spice, Hawkins & Bach have been feuding for months, while Peak & Andrews have had their issues as well. All four competitors are ready to go to war. Who will leave Destructive Energy the one and only Legend of TCW & SNS? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Two Gargantuan Men Ready to Collide!</strong></p><p>

Rick Law & Rocky Golden has had their issues leading back to Summer Showdown, where both challenged for the TCW World Title in a Fatal Four Way. Since then, the both men have had numerous altercations, including a huge Tag Team Match at Hotter Than Hell. With their issues yet to be resolved, these two monstrous men will face off at Destructive Energy.</p><p> </p><p>

It is a long time coming indeed, and it is obvious they’re both ready to fight. In the past month on Total Wrestling, these two have slugged it out numerous times, including a huge backstage brawl that got way out of control. But now, it is time to do it in the ring in an official TCW Match.</p><p> </p><p>

Who will win this battle of behemoths at Destructive Energy, and will there even be a ring left standing after all the destruction this battle should bring? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Cage & Devine 2 for the International Championship!</strong></p><p>

After Roger Cage walked out on his match with Steve Devine at Hotter Than Hell, we all knew the TCW Board would make this rematch. They did, and they made sure to put in the stipulations that if Cage got himself deliberately counted out or disqualified, he would be stripped of the International Championship!</p><p> </p><p>

This feud of former friends has only gotten hotter since Devine’s Count Out victory over Cage. Both men cost each other their qualifying match for the Legends Championship Fatal Four Way Match. They have shared words, plenty of words. After Cage ran for the hill to get away from Devine once more, people spent the whole week calling Cage a coward. Cage made a rebuttal for that argument by brutally attacking Devine during a match on Total Wrestling, just days before their rematch at Destructive Energy.</p><p> </p><p>

The rematch is set. Will Steve Devine win again and bring home the gold? Or will Roger Cage prove again why he is TCW’s Newest Phenomenon?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>United States Title Tournament</strong></p><p>

With the TCW International Title going to Saturday Night Showcase, Tommy Cornell wasted no time to create a new midcard championship for Total Wrestling. SNS has the International Title, so Total Wrestling will have the United States Championship!</p><p> </p><p>

Thus an 8 Man Tournament was set up to span over September, leading up to the Finals at Destructive Energy.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Opening Round</span></p><p>

Greg Keith defeated Joshua Taylor</p><p>

Buddy Garner defeated Freddy Huggins</p><p>

Joel Bryant defeated Clark Alexander</p><p>

Matthew Keith defeated Stevie Grayson</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Semi-Finals</span></p><p>

Buddy Garner defeated Greg Keith</p><p>

Matthew Keith defeated Joel Bryant</p><p> </p><p>

And so the Finals Match is set! Matthew Keith believes this is his time after spending close to a year scratching and crawling at the bottom of the TCW roster. But the veteran Buddy Garner certainly will not just roll over! Who will become the first ever TCW United States Champion?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>US Tag Team Championship Tournament</strong></p><p>

Following Cornell’s example, Ricky Dale Johnson knew how important the tag team division is. Seeing that the Tag Team Titles went to Total Wrestling in the TCW Draft, RDJ has decided to create his own tag titles for Saturday Night Showcase. Behold! The TCW US Tag Team Championship is created!</p><p> </p><p>

And just like that, an 8 Team Tournament was created to crown the first ever Tag Team Champions of Saturday Night Showcase. The Finals will be at Destructive Energy to crown those champions.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Opening Round</span></p><p>

High Concept defeated Mohammed Barrett & KC Glenn</p><p>

Chaos Connection defeated The Kangaroo Boys</p><p>

Endangered Species defeated The New Wave</p><p>

The Caged Behemoths defeated F.I.N.</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Semi-Finals</span></p><p>

High Concept defeated Chaos Connection</p><p>

The Caged Behemoths defeated Endangered Species</p><p> </p><p>

Roger Cage revealed his new bodyguards on the returning episode of Saturday Night Showcase. Cage had brought back former TCW Wrestlers Danny Fonzarelli & Texas Pete and formed them into a tag team. Cage even dubbed them the Caged Behemoths. (Get it? Eh?! Eh?!) </p><p> </p><p>

The two massive men ran through the competition in the first two rounds, but at Destructive Energy, they face one of the greatest TCW Tag Teams ever in High Concept. Benny Benson & Greg Black haven’t worn gold in over a year, and they’re ready to end their drought. Can High Concept add more gold to their resume? Or will Roger Cage’s new bodyguards overpower them on their way to a championship?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW News</span></strong></p><p><strong>

Major Change at the Announce Table </strong></p><p>

With the major shakeup over TCW with the brand split, one change that went under the radar was the one with the commentators. The writing was on the wall, but it finally happened. Jason Azaria’s contract has expired, and TCW has allowed him to walk. Azaria has been the long time TCW Head Announcer for years, but it had become quite obvious that his best years were behind him, and his ability to call a match were deteriorating. </p><p> </p><p>

Shawn Doakes takes over as Head Announcer, and he seems to have a promising career ahead of him. Doakes has impressed many, and he continues to improve on his announcing skills with each show.</p><p> </p><p>

Doakes and Colour Commentator DJ Britton currently commentate on both Total Wrestling and Saturday Night Showcase, but TCW is looking into their options to possibly have a different broadcast team for each show. It’s a long way off, if it even happens, but there are several commentators that they’re looking at right now. Young Announcer Remmington Remus, English Commentator Melanie Florence, and the very talented Venis Angeletti have been getting time behind the desk during non-televised matches. TCW also has some young commentators currently sharpening their skills down in CCW.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW Superstar Highlight</span></strong></p><p>

<strong>Name: Cameron Vessey</strong></p><p>

<strong>Age:</strong> 27 (7 Years Pro)</p><p>

<strong>TCW Televised Debut:</strong> Week 3, September, 2013</p><p>

<strong>Affiliates:</strong> Tag Team with John Anderson (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Member of The Syndicate</p><p>

<strong>Top 500 Rankings:</strong> 2012 (328), 2013 (136)</p><p>

<strong>Top Rated Match:</strong> Week 2, August, 2014. Vessey & Anderson lost to High Concept. (91)</p><p>

<strong>Most Notable Victory:</strong> Dirty Rotten Scoundrels win a Tag Team Fatal Four Way, last defeating champs The Ying Yang Dragons for TCW Tag Team Championship. (Hotter Than Hell, August, 2014)</p><p>

<strong>Biography:</strong> The Son of Larry and new Bryan, Cameron Vessey has seemed destined for greatness from the start. After signing with TCW in July 2013, Vessey spent only 2 months in CCW Developmental before proving he deserved to be a part of the main roster. Vessey spent 2013 as a member of Steve Devine’s VIP stable, and tag teamed regularly with Jay Chord under the name Evolution. He didn’t find success in VIP, but he did catch the eye of Tommy Cornell, who saw Vessey’s potential. At TCW Mayhem 18, Vessey revealed himself to be the newest member of The Syndicate by helping Cornell win the TCW World Title back from Eddie Peak. His actions, though, left him a target of the monster Peak. To Vessey’s credit, he never backed down from The King of the Insane Asylum, though he lost to Peak in two memorable PPV matches, including a bloody Dog Collar Match. Vessey currently has built a new tag team, this time with tag team specialist and fellow Syndicate member John Anderson, as The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. They are the current Tag Team Champions, and have proven to live by The Syndicate way. Win!...By Any Means! </p><p> </p><p>

TCW – October 2014

Current Storylines

Tommy Cornell vs Steven Parker: The Final Encounter

There comes a time when a feud must come to an end in professional wrestling. At Threatening Behavior, the final chapter of the war between “Rough Justice” Tommy Cornell & “The Future” Steven Parker happens at Threatening Behavior.

Many relate this feud to when Tommy Cornell kicked Wolf Hawkins out of the Syndicate, seemingly jealous of his success. Perhaps that part of the story is the same. But where it is different is that Hawkins was the protégé of Cornell. When Parker was kicked out of the Syndicate, no one expected Steven to come back and take the fight to Cornell like he has. He was just Cornell’s Lackey. Now he is Cornell’s worst nightmare!

After taking down The Syndicate in Total Mayhem at Destructive Energy, Parker earned the right to decide the stipulations to the final encounter. Parker chose to have the TCW World Championship up high in a Ladder Match, and that no one would interfere, or otherwise face significant punishment.

Parker has done everything he could to do Tommy Cornell…except take the World Title. Now here is his chance, the best chance he’ll get. No Syndicate involvement. Just a one on one encounter. Will The Future achieve what he believes is his destiny? Or will Tommy Cornell prove once again why he is the greatest wrestler in the industry?

Aaron Andrews Challenges The King of the Insane Asylum

The feud between TCW Legends Champion Eddie Peak & Aaron Andrews has been going on for quite some time. After Andrews won the #1 Contendership Triple Threat Match, the feud was primed to continue. Unlike most people, Andrews has shown no fear towards Peak. And why should he? He has Ricky Dale Johnson, The General Manager of SNS, on his side!

Well…most of the time Andrews isn’t scared of Peak. Peak’s classic parlor tricks have gotten under Andrews’ skin at times. Nevertheless, Andrews has responded with his own tricks. He even has a recent fall over Peak…in a handicap match, constructed by RDJ. On the final episode of SNS before Threatening Behavior, Eddie Peak defeated Aaron Andrews in a Six Man Tag Main Event. But with the help of RDJ, Andrews was standing over a fallen Peak when the show went off air.

Needless to say, Peak is seething to gain some revenge on both Andrews & RDJ. Will Peak get that revenge at Threatening Behavior? Or will Aaron Andrews show why RDJ calls him the Chosen One, and becomes the Legends Champion?

The Monsters of TCW Go At It Again!

After a rake of the eyes helped Rocky Golden defeat Rick Law at Destructive Energy, we all knew this feud was far from over. Law wasted no time to challenge Golden to a rematch, but Rocky declined. That turned out to be only a ploy. Golden sneak attacked Rick Law during a match on the following episode of Total Wrestling, and in the process battered and bloodied TCW’s Law Enforcer. Then, while standing over Law, Golden announced he had changed his mind and accepted the rematch!

Law wasted no time the following week to bring the fight right back to Golden, who fled the ring to get away from Law. Later on in the night, the cameras found the two brawling backstage. There were questions if these two would get to Threatening Behavior before destroying each other!

But they have, and because of the bloody attack Law received from Golden, TCW Owner Tommy Cornell decided to make this matchup a First Blood Match. It was brutal, and of course, it will be bloody. Who will leave victorious in this battle of TCW Titans?

The Rubber Match of the Generation Now Implosion

Perhaps there has been no more emotional feud this year than the feud between former best friends Wolf Hawkins & Samuel Bach. After their hatred for each other cost both a shot at the TCW Legends Championship, their focus became clear. One more match to decide who the better man is.

These are two different men now. One wrestler is a fan favorite, the rock star wrestler who the men love to cheer and the women love to love. The other wrestler has taken a dark turn, and has become the leader of a cult bent on revolution. Once best friends, now sworn enemies.

It all comes down to this rubber match, which has been made a Street Fight for all that has happened. The last episode of SNS makes it seem like the odds are definitely in Bach’s favor. With a single nod from their leader, Bach’s followers (Mohammed Barrett, KC Glenn, & Joey Poison) hit the ring and attacked Hawkins. The trio beat him down, allowing Bach to easily climb to the top rope and hit his patented Shooting Star Press.

Yet, that won’t stop Wolf Hawkins from showing up at Threatening Behavior. Hawkins is determined to get some revenge on his former best friend, no matter what the cost. Will Hawkins beat odds? Or will he fall victim again to Samuel Bach and Revolution X?

Roger Cage defends his Gold against the US Tag Team Champs

For all of October, High Concept has had Roger Cage’s number. On all four episodes of Saturday Night Showcase, Cage has faced Benny Benson and/or Greg Black in some fashion. Roger Cage has lost every single time! One Singles Match, Two Tag Team Matches, & a Six Man Tag Match. Cage was on the wrong side each time.

Because of these losses, General Manager Ricky Dale Johnson has decided that both Benson & Black deserve a crack at the TCW International Championship. But to make it interesting, they’re getting at the same time in a triple threat match!

The odds are against Roger Cage, but “Smooth” seems to always screech out the win no matter what. Can he do it again, or will one of High Concept leave wearing double gold?

Mikey James finds another Partner to challenge The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

The Ying Yang Dragons were primed to use their Title Rematch clause against Cameron Vessey & John Anderson for the TCW Tag Team Titles. That was until Tommy Cornell announced the random draft trade for October. It turned out the superstar that was heading over to SNS was none other than Koshiro Ino. Needless to say, Mikey James was left without a partner to challenge for the gold.

It turns out Steve Devine was traded over to Total Wrestling, and altercations with the Tag Champs have united Devine with Mikey James. Mikey saved Devine from a 2 on 1 Beatdown from the Scoundrels one week, only for Devine to return the favor the following week. The actions of The Scoundrels brought Mikey & Devine together, and they’re ready to challenge the champs for the gold at Threatening Behavior.

Mikey James & Steve Devine have never teamed together before, but that hasn’t stopped them from believing they will leave Threatening Behavior as the Tag Team Champions. Will they succeed? Or chemistry be the key, allowing the Scoundrels to retain the Gold?

A Rematch from The United States Championship Finals

Matthew Keith fulfilled his promise to his father to win gold at Destructive Energy, but he didn’t do without help from his brother, Greg. Needless to say, Buddy Garner wasn’t too happy with the interference, and was far from done with both Keith Brothers after last month’s PPV.

Garner won the #1 Contendership Match for the United States Championship, allowing him that opportunity to get some revenge. Garner and his partner Joey Minnesota defeated the Keith Brothers in a tag team contest, but the fall consisted of Garner over Greg. Garner has yet to pin or submit Matthew.

He gets that shining second chance at Threatening Behavior. Can Garner right his wrongs, or will Matthew Keith continue to grow upon what he calls the “Illustrious Keith Legacy”?

TCW News

Canada’s Big Star Comes to TCW

In shocking news, longtime CGC member Jack DeColt has signed a contract with Total Championship Wrestling. It comes as a surprise not just because Jack is such a legendary name in Canada and not so much in the USA, but he leaves the company that the DeColt Family built. Jack’s brother Alex has taken over the company for his father, allowing Jack to jump at this opportunity.

Even at 37 and 19 years pro, Jack DeColt is primed to become a key member of the TCW Roster as long as his body holds up. His entertainment skills and star quality is appealing to any company. Plus, his wife Hotstuff Marie will be joining him in his new move. She will be dropping her old wrestling name and simply be known by her real name, Marie DeColt. Why the change? Marie was quoted saying, “With this big move, it’s time for such a change.”

Look for Jack & Marie DeColt to debut on TCW Television early in November!

TCW Looking to Beef Up the Midcard

Overall, the Brand Split has been a success for TCW. The one thing lacking right now is the depth at the midcard, meaning the number of wrestlers to link the gap between rising stars and superstars. With that said, Tommy Cornell & TCW are currently looking into midcard talents with impressive popularity, but at the same time know their place on the roster.

One signing has been made already, as TCW snatched Mick Muscles from USPW. Meanwhile, there could be a possible new signing joining Muscles soon. Reports say TCW is currently speaking with a SWF Midcard Talent who is currently looking for a new deal. More information to come in the oncoming months.

October 2014 Random Brand Trade

In the first ever Brand Trade performed, two big names were exchanged between Total Wrestling & Saturday Night Showcase. Both Main Eventers! The Ying Yang Dragons were split up, as Koshiro Ino was sent to SNS.[/b] Meanwhile, TCW’s Coolest Ladies Man Steve Devine will be pimping it on Total Wrestling for now on!

Name: Wolf Hawkins

TCW Title History: TCW World Heavyweight (2x), TCW 2013 Wrestler of the Year, TCW 2013 Tournament of Champions, TCW International, TCW All Action

Top Rated Match: Week 2: August 2013 - Generation Now (Wolf Hawkins & Samuel Bach) defeated SWAT (Brent Hill & Buddy Garner) at TCW 2013 Tag Team Elite (97)

Most Notable Victory: Wolf Hawkins defeated Rocky Golden for his first ever TCW World Heavyweight Championship (Week 1, September 2012)

Biography: After spending most of his career under the Cornell Banner in the Syndicate, Wolf Hawkins is now on his own. It didn’t take long for him though because of his talent and looks to become arguably the biggest babyface in TCW. Hawkins has been Public Enemy #1 for Tommy Cornell since Hawkins has been flying solo, but that hasn’t stopped him from winning the TCW World Title for a second time and winning both the first ever Tournament of Champions & Wrestler of the Year Tournament!

Hawkins has proven himself to be far away from his scoundrel Syndicate ways now and never backs away from a fight. His feud with Rocky Golden in early 2014 was proof of this. Despite giving up a ton of size and weight for Golden, Hawkins wouldn’t be intimidated by The Giant, no matter how much he tried!

Now a member of Saturday Night Showcase, Hawkins is currently feuding with former best friend Samuel Bach and his cult Revolution X. But Hawkins is always a step away from being back on top at the mountain, and looks primed to eventually add the TCW Legends Championship to his resume!

“Hello TCW Fans, it is I, the Bringer of your Favorite Action, your Wrestling Savior, your TCW World Heavyweight Champion and the Owner of the Best Wrestling Organization today, Tommy Cornell. Of course, when I come to you like this, you know it must be big news. When it can’t wait for Total Wrestling or Saturday Night Showcase, you know it must be huge!

Several months ago, when I announced the official Main Roster Brand Split, I made a promise to you all at the end of that specific press conference. The rumor mill has been going ever since, and with a recent signing by TCW, that mill has been filled with accusations.

And now that the contracts are signed and everything is official, here am I to let you know exactly what is going on.

With the success of Saturday Night Showcase, USA Sports Channel approached Total Championship Wrestling about developing another wrestling show. When this offer was made by USA Sports, I knew exactly the direction I wanted to go.

I promised you, the TCW fans, that when I decided to take TCW into the world of female wrestling, we would do it 100% and on our terms. The women wouldn’t just take a backseat to the men. They would have their own show to represent themselves. Plus, it would not be just about big breasts and rumps shaking. Although those are two very good things, don’t get me wrong! No, it would be about the best female wrestlers that the world has to offer. There are a ton of female wrestlers out there, screaming for a chance, and now they have that opportunity.

This December 2014, Santa Cornell has the perfect gift for TCW Fans. Starting next month on Thursday Nights, USA Sports will debut TCW’s new one hour wrestling show. TCW NDA! No Divas Allowed!

Now, I know the one thing that jumps out quickly is that the show will be one hour, unlike Total Wrestling & Saturday Night Showcase, which runs for two. It’s simple, folks. As confident as I am that these women will shine brightly, this is still a new enterprise for TCW. Baby steps, people! If these women prove me right now and shine brightly, then the show will expand over time. Until then, let these fresh new TCW faces show you what they can do for one full hour each week.

But while there will be plenty of new faces, there will be some that you already know. I am pleased to announce that recently signed Sara Marie York and Alina America will be a part of NDA. Also, longtime TCW Personality Tracy Brendon will be coming out of retirement to compete on Thursday Nights! Furthermore, TCW has already signed some of the best female talent around the world, including Cherry Bomb, Grace Harper, Suzanna Brazzle, Tamara McFly, and some of the best female talent to ever come out of Japan!

Plus, NDA will also offer some of the best, young, up and coming female talent in the world. Not to mention we have already begun to build a women’s division in our developmental farm, CCW. Headlining those bunch of young ladies is the daughter of wrestling legend Eric Tyler, Brooke Tyler!

This is another huge step for Total Championship Wrestling, and we continue to expand to levels that no wrestling company has ever reached prior. If you’re not a female wrestling fan already, tune in every Thursday Night, and we will make you one!

Cornell Out!”

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW – November 2014</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Current Storylines</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>

A Little Southern Steel Cage Match!</strong></p><p>

When Aaron Andrews defeated TCW Legends Champion Eddie Peak by an extremely shady Disqualification, we all knew the rematch was going to happen. We knew General Manager Ricky Dale Johnson would extract revenge on Eddie Peak for his actions after the match at Threatening Behavior. We also know RDJ would help his coveted protégé in any way possible. </p><p> </p><p>

So this is what RDJ thought up in his head for A Little South of Sanity. Eddie Peak will defend his Legends Championship once again against “The Chosen One” Aaron Andrews. This time it will be in a Steel Cage Match, and to prevent Peak from attacking another TCW Official, RDJ made himself the Special Guest Referee! Well…that seems fair! </p><p> </p><p>

The lead up to this rematch has been crazy, as recent Saturday Night Showcase draftee Koshiro Ino found himself intertwined. Peak & Ino aligned together when Andrews & RDJ assaulted both men. Ino even holds 2 singles victories over Andrews in the past month. Once by DQ due to interference by RDJ, the other in a Street Fight where both Peak & RDJ interfered for their respective allies.</p><p> </p><p>

With time winding down till the huge main event, not only is the advantage in Andrews’ to become the Legends Champion, but so is the momentum. 24 Hours before A Little South of Sanity, Aaron Andrews pinned Eddie Peak in a tag team contest on SNS. Granted, it was with the help of RDJ & a Steel Chair! Nevertheless, it was a perfect picture of what could happen when the Legends Title is on the line!</p><p> </p><p>

Will Eddie Peak beat all the odds and take down his nemesis of many months? Or will “The Chosen One” take the throne…the throne that he already believes is his? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Rocky Golden forces himself in the World Title Picture…Again</strong></p><p>

Can you say Déjà vu?</p><p> </p><p>

When you’re a giant like Rocky Golden, you can pretty much do whatever you want. Back in July at Summer Showdown, Golden forced himself into the World Title Match by attacking anybody and everyone until he was given what he wanted.</p><p> </p><p>

Fast forward to November. Rick Law wins a Fatal Four Way to become the #1 Contender for the TCW World Heavyweight Championship. Rocky Golden was involved, but not in the decision. Unsatisfied with the result, Golden destroyed Law after the match. On the following episode of Total Wrestling, Golden confronted World Champion and TCW Owner Tommy Cornell and demanded he be put in the World Title Match at Little South of Sanity. When Cornell refused to give Golden what he wanted, the Giant decimated Cornell. Surprisingly, Rick Law tried to rescue Cornell, but in the end met the same fate for two weeks in a row.</p><p> </p><p>

In a shocking turn of events, on the next episode of Total Wrestling, the biggest heel in wrestling did the unimaginable. Tommy Cornell saved Rick Law from another Rocky Golden beatdown! It was an action that actually received applause from the crowd! It was so strange that even Cornell’s protégé Joss Thompson questioned his actions afterwards. Cornell made it clear. Giant or no Giant, “Rough Justice” wouldn’t be pushed around!</p><p> </p><p>

Yet Rocky Golden got what he wanted through his actions. He got himself into the World Title match at Little South, thus setting up a triple threat. It’s everyone for themselves, which Rick Law proved four nights before the big title match. Law saved Cornell from another Golden beatdown, only to hit Cornell with the Strong Arm of the Law afterwards! </p><p> </p><p>

Will Cornell beat the odds and continue to reign at the top of the mountain? Or will one of the TCW Behemoths knock “Rough Justice” from his throne?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Can the Wolf be Caged?</strong></p><p>

It all started with an argument. Roger Cage came out to the ring three nights after another successful TCW International Title defense and flaunted the fact to everyone who listened. When he declared himself the best champion in TCW History, he was immediately interrupted by Wolf Hawkins, a man who can easily argue that claim. Hawkins accused Cage of being “a boy still with training wheels,” but offered Cage a chance to step up in the competition. That is, by facing Wolf Hawkins! Cage laughed it off, and rejected the challenge while attempting to not look cowardly in any fashion.</p><p> </p><p>

Later in the night, Wolf Hawkins faced off against one of Cage’s hired henchmen, Texas Pete. Despite Roger Cage’s interference, Hawkins defeated his henchmen. On the following week of SNS, Roger tried again as Hawkins faced off against Acid, but yet against his interference backfired. Later on in the night, Hawkins returned the favor by distracting Cage, which allowed Benny Benson to roll up the International Champion for the 3 Count!</p><p> </p><p>

A week later, Reporter Davis Dietrich made the mistake of saying that Roger Cage “looked out of his league while facing off with Wolf Hawkins.” Davis got a smack across the face for it, as Cage stormed out of the interview infuriated. It was anger that lead to Cage assaulting Hawkins after Wolf’s match. While he committed the brutal act, Cage repeatedly yelled at Hawkins that he wasn’t in Cage’s league. A nerve touched? It would seem!</p><p> </p><p>

As much as Roger Cage hates to admit it, this is his biggest test to date. The International Title is on the line, but it would seem that Wolf Hawkins is more concerned with revenge. Will Wolf put the Young Phenom in his place? Or will Roger Cage continue his rise to Super Stardom at the expense of the former World Champion? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Thompson looks to halt The Dragon’s Rise to Stardom</strong></p><p>

This feud kicked off in rapid fashion. Joss Thompson blamed Mikey James for costing him a TCW World Title shot. Joss thought he had the #1 Contenders Fatal Four Way in his grasp after hitting Rick Law with the Clean Cutter. But Mikey James broke up the fall, and a Scything Side Kick left Joss dazed and confused, and soon a victim of Rick Law’s Strong Arm of the Law.</p><p> </p><p>

Thompson’s bad luck with James continued, as they faced off in a tag team contest the following week. Joss came up on the losing side, although he wasn’t involved in the decision. Frustrated by the Dragon, Joss assaulted James on the following week of Total Wrestling, then stood over Mikey after knocking him out with the Clean Cutter.</p><p> </p><p>

Yet, Mikey has continued to get the best of Joss when the ringbell has been struck. Four nights before a Little South of Sanity, Mikey was once again on the winning side, this time in a Six Man Tag Team Match. Meanwhile, Joss had to face defeat again without even being in the decision. </p><p> </p><p>

It is one of the TCW’s hottest feuds that has come out of nowhere. Two young studs, both of whom are one big win away from a title shot. Who will leave Little South with that big win?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The Scoundrels vs The Devine</strong></p><p>

No, despite the popular rumor, Steve & Darryl are not brothers. But after Steve saved Darryl from a beatdown by the TCW Tag Team Champions, the two men who share the same last name kicked it off. They called it…<strong>Devine Intervention.</strong> DING! You just found your tag team name!</p><p> </p><p>

Steve & Darryl Devine have come together, and in just four weeks have become the biggest threat to John Anderson & Cameron Vessey. The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels have reigned supreme over the Total Wrestling tag division for awhile now. But now? After The Devines won the #1 Contendership Match? The Champs face Two Brothers fromanother Mother!</p><p> </p><p>

They might be a new tag team, but Steve & Darryl own a Singles & a Six Man Tag Team victory over the Champions leading up to A Little South of Sanity. The question is now? Can Devine Intervention do it when Tag Gold is on the line? Or will the Scoundrels prove again why they wear the World Tag Team Titles?</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Joey Minnesota looks to halt The Keith Legacy</strong></p><p>

Ever since Matthew Keith became the first TCW United States Champion, the son of Sam has not looked back once. He has only faced defeat on a couple occasions, both in tag team contests, and both times in impressive fashion despite the loss. </p><p> </p><p>

After two very close losses to Keith, Buddy Garner was granted one more title shot against Matthew. With the help of his brother Greg, Matthew defeated Buddy Garner again. But when the Keith Brothers assaulted Garner after the bell, Matthew would find his next title challenger, for Joey Minnesota came to the rescue for his tag partner Garner!</p><p> </p><p>

Vowing to put the Keiths in their place, Minnesota would go on to win the #1 Contendership Match for the United States Championship. Despite talking a big game, Mathew has looked intimidated by the TCW Veteran who looks to add more gold to his resume. Matthew did poke the bear Four Nights before A Little South of Sanity when he cost Minnesota his match with TCW World Champion Tommy Cornell. We will find out soon if that was smart or not!</p><p> </p><p>

Much like fellow midcard champ Roger Cage, Matthew Keith will undoubtedly face his biggest challenge to date in Joey Minnesota. Will Matthew continue on building the Keith Legacy, or will Minnesota make that Legacy just a big fat myth? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Samuel Bach brings Revolution to the Tag Team Division</strong></p><p>

After Samuel Bach defeated Greg Black, Co-Holder of the US Tag Team Championship, the leader of Revolution X made his intentions clear. While not currently in the Legends Title Picture, Bach planned on making the US Tag Team Titles part of his crusade. Bach made sure the champions knew his intentions the best way he knew. By sending his minions out to cost High Concept a match! </p><p> </p><p>

After vowing to owe a favor to GM Ricky Dale Johnson, Samuel Bach & Mohammed Barrett was inserted into a Fatal Four Way Tag Match to determine the next challengers to High Concept for the US Tag Team Gold. Despite the effort of the other 3 teams, Revolution X won the Fatal Four Way Match in impressive fashion. After fulfilling the favor to RDJ (teaming with Andrews in a Tag Match on SNS), Samuel Bach has eyes only for the gold resting on Benson & Black’s shoulders. Well…maybe he has eyes for his valet Roxy Kitten, too…but that’s it!</p><p> </p><p>

Benny Benson gained some momentum for his team twenty-four hours prior to A Little South of Sanity. Despite taking a beating from the bruiser Barrett, Benson defeated Bach’s right hand man in a singles contest. Will that be enough to sway the advantage in favor of the US Tag Team Champs? Or will High Concept fall victim to Samuel Bach & his Revolution? </p><p> </p><p>

<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TCW News</span></strong></p><p><strong>

<strong>Affiliates:</strong> Tag Team Partner of Freddy Huggins (The Canadian Animals)</p><p>

<strong>Most Notable Victory:</strong> The Canadian Animals defeating The New Wave for the TCW World Tag Team Champions (June 2010)</p><p>

<strong>Biography:</strong> As the youngest son of Dan Stone, Edd Stone has always been the type to go out on his own and do his thing. That’s why instead of sticking in NOTBW with the rest of his family and having a cozy career, The 24 Hour Party Animal joined TCW to face the best of the best. At only 27 years of age, Stone continues to improve as a solid addition to the TCW Midcard. With each match, he becomes more and more consistent. It would seem someday he will live up to the Stone name and break through that ceiling to Main Event Status. For now, he is a part of the Canadian Animals, one of the most infamous tag teams in TCW History. With Laura Huggins in their corner, The Animals are a dangerous threat to anyone who dares to face off against the cocky, young duo. After spending time as members of the now defunct stable VIP, Stone & Huggins are back on their own with only two goals. To win back the Tag Team Titles, and then flaunt it to the entire world!</p>
