Art Davie proposed to Rorion Gracie and John Milius an eight-man single-elimination tournament called "War of the Worlds". The tournament was inspired by the Gracies in Action video-series produced by the Gracie family of Brazil which featured Gracie Jiu-Jitsu students defeating martial-arts masters of various disciplines such as karate, kung fu and kickboxing. The tournament would feature martial artists from different disciplines facing each other in no-holds-barred combat to determine the best martial art and would aim to replicate the excitement of the matches Davie had seen on the videos. John Milius, a noted film director and screenwriter, as well as a Gracie student, agreed to act as the event's creative director. Davie drafted the business plan and twenty-eight investors contributed the initial capital to start WOW Promotions with the intent to develop the tournament into a television franchise. The fight starts with 1 60 min round with the winner winning by KO/TKO/Submission/or decision. Nothing is illegal. The Year is 1995

Funaki is our 3rd tournament winner and will now fight for the championship in the near future. He wants some time off to train for the fight though. Gracie took Bas Rutten very seriously in this fight but expresses no desire to fight him again in the near future, due to him dominating him. He's more interested in the Shamrock 2 fight, to which we see Ken Shamrock enter the octogon. Both men are given the mic and Shamrock tells Gracie he wont get off easy this second time around, hes trained in the BJJ art and wont fall victim to anything Gracie has for him. Shamrock and Gracie do a stare off and Shamrock shoves Gracie to the point where security hold both me back. Gracie vs. Shamrock 2 is expected to take place in the very near future with the winner facing Funaki in either Vegas or Japan.
