[center][I]It's 2005 and the memory of Test is a small one. Nobody really remembers anything remarkable or worth noting of the once WWE superstar, except for his storyline engagement to one Stephanie McMahon leading to fueds with the Mean Street Posse and D-Generation X, which after Test was just lost in a pool of midcarders. In the last months in his time with WWE, Test was partnered up with real-life girlfriend Stacy Kiebler to "fix his image" in which he cut his hair, leading to his small fanbase being known as TESTicles and a small fued with Scott Steiner. After a few days of tough negotiations, Martin and TNA managment were not able to reach a deal. Apparently, TNA wanted Martin to sign a very long term written deal, but Martin wanted a Pay-Per-Apperence deal, which TNA did accept, but the money Martin asked for was said to be to much. It was reported that Martin wanted $850 dollars per apperence at a midcarder spot, but TNA only wanted to pay $730. Martin had this to say on a recent interview: "Despite the the praise of Konnan, which I appreciate, and seeing how professinal everyone was in the back, we just couldn't agree to a deal. As of right now, I will not be appearing in TNA. But hopefully in the near future, we can work something out." TNA released a statement today on the Martin situation: "We defintely have a big interest in Andrew Martin, but as of right now, we are going to pass. Although his in-ring talent has improved some what and he show great promise, Martin will not be apart of the TNA roster." Martin continues to make news as today, he and Ultimate Pro Wrestling have agreed to a deal. The terms of the contract have yet to be released.
