Frazier Red Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 I've always had a niche for rebuilding programs that flat out stink, so I decided to head over to the random team generator and pick a team with a prestige lower than 30. The result? We get the craptastic Idaho Vandals, with a 25 for prestige, and a WAC conference projection of 9th. Yeesh! This will be tough. The goal is to try to win a few and not get embarrased, but that will be tough. Other teams in our conference are accusing us of cupcaking our schedule, as we have the 2nd softest schedule in the nation: 1) Buffalo (non-conference) 2) @ Lousiana-Monroe (non-conference) 4) Hawaii 6) @ Utah State 7) Louisiana Tech 8) Fresno State 10) New Mexico State 11) @ San Jose State 12) @ Boise State 13) @ Nevada 15) @ UTEP (non-conference) We took three cupcake non-conference games, in an attempt to try to squeak out a win or two this season. Roll Tide Posted January 4, 2006 Share Posted January 4, 2006 Nothing wrong with cupcakes. You don't get any points for losing to the big dogs.
