Velvet Sky at ringside looked concerned for both wrestlers, as well as conflicted during the changes of momentum. The finish of the match came when TJ Perkins was able to lift Sabin into a fireman's carry and, as he dropped his opponent, flipped back and kicked him in the head. This was enough for the victory as TJ covered for the 1-2-3. After the match, TJ left up the ramp celebrating as Velvet got into the ring to check on her boyfriend. Going for an Angle Slam, Daniels instead landed on his feet and pushed Angle into the ropes. On the rebound, he caught Angle with a wheel kick to pick up a long 2-count. Daniels continued the offense on Angle until he attempted a BME from the top rope. Angle was able to roll out of the way and locked in an Angle Lock on the downed opponent. Daniels looked poised to tap before Kazarian got on the apron. Daniels tapped, but the referee missed it. Angle knocked Kazarian from the apron, and was caught with a roll-up by Daniels.
