Silver Spur Posted January 5, 2006 Share Posted January 5, 2006 Sometimes I may not redshirt a freshman at a position where I am thin depth wise. But if I play well up into the season and have yet to use him, I would like the option to redshirt him at that time so as not to take a chance of waisting a full year by him playing in the last game. As of now I don't seem to be able to do that. Also, what about medical redshirts where a player is injured early in the first game which will keep him out all or most of the season. Seems we would have to apply for that after the season concludes and find out in the offseason if it was approved. The "engine" could make the decision based on some random stuff. Neet.
