WWE 2011 and Beyond: From the Depths

Recommended Posts

From November 2009 until April 2011, I did a dynasty involving World Wrestling Entertainment that ran on a real time schedule. After Wrestlemania 27, I went on hiatus and ran three more weeks of shows for a brief return and then vanished into nothingness, with a couple of more failed attempts to return.

They thought that it was the end.

It was only a long hiatus.

It was an alternate universe where certain wrestlers who never made it big on Earth Prime became superstars. Where ECW rose to become a viable third brand. Where other superstars who became WWE Champion in real life never quite rose to midcard status. And we return to that world, the night after the 2011 Extreme Rules, where this is the roster. The more familiar names on Earth prime are presented in parenthesis as some names have been changed to protect the innocent and the guilty.

WWE Extreme Rules 2011, took place on May 1st 2011 and here are the run down for the results.

Evan Bourne and the World's Greatest Tag Team defeated The Fortunate Sons of Joe Hennig, Ted DiBiase, and Brett DiBiase. The Intercontinental and Tag Team Titles were on the line during this match, with Ted DiBiase wanting to go for the Intercontinental Championship and the younger DiBiase and Hennig going for the tag belts. A month ago Ted DiBiase was going for the Undertaker's undefeated streak and now he's being pinned by Shelton Benjamin in this six man tag team match. WGTT and Bourne keept their respective belts tonight.

Kurt Angle made Cody Rhodes submit to hold onto the United States Championship in a Submission Match Angle used his techical wrestling abilities to defeat the Dashing One. Rhodes had a nice rear naked choke that nearly beat Angle. Angle offers another successful title defense, with the Ankle Lock.

Alberto Banderas defeated Kane in a Strap Match Banderas talks about how its his destiny to go to Wrestlemania 28 and end the Undertaker's winning streak. He has to take down a huge roadblock in the Undertaker's brother Kane. Banderas knocked out Kane with a loaded boot and touched all four corners.

Bryan Danielson won a Best Two Out of Three Falls Match against Chris Jericho[/b] Danielson got Jericho with a quick running knee to the face in less than two minutes to pin him. Jericho and Danielson had a nice back and forth match, with Jericho pulling out a top rope power bomb and then a Liontamer version of the Walls of Jericho to even up the odd. Back and forth match for the final fall with Danielson pulling out the LaBell Lock and forcing Jericho to tap out, winning the third and final fall.

Mia Mancini made Beth Phoenix submit to a triangle choke in an Extreme Rules Match to retain the Women's Championship. Mia Mancini was out to prove something, knowing that she could stand on her own against the Glamazon without Maryse guiding her career. This was one of the more violent diva's matches in a very long time. Mancini held onto her championship with the trinagle choke.

Maryse is out after the match, offering a mocking applause to Mancini, congratulationing her on the title retention but says that karma is coming. A large colored woman enters the ring. A small but audible "KONG" chant starts up as Mancini is beaten down from behind. The woman laughs as she chokes down Mancini and hit a choke slam and a power bomb, before dropping the women's championship on her downed chest. Maryse slaps Mancini as she's knocked out and yells over and over again that Kharma is a bitch.

Christian retained the WWE Championship against John Morrison in a Ladder Match These two men, masters of ladder matches, went at it back and forth. Morrison's new and brutal style was not enough to take Christian down. Christian crotches Morrison off of the top rope and grabs the WWE Championship from above the ring.

Matt Hardy is out, saying that all of the superstars on the land of extreme don't have the Mattitude or the Mattributes to hold this ECW Championship. He says that Tommy Dreamer has dug up a challenger for him and he suggests the Zombie or Bilvis Wesley or the Blue Meanie as potential title contenders. This sound comes up.

"ONE, TWO, I HEAR THE CLOCK TICKING, TICK TOCK....I'M COMING!"

MVP makes his return, having left this past summer after his contract on RAW expired. He enters the ring and slides inside, staring down Matt Hardy. There is a few seconds where both of them stare each other down.

MVP pinned Matt Hardy with the Drive By Kick into a jack-knife cradle to capture his first ECW Championship. Hardy and MVP took up their classic rivalry tonight but while the last time Matt Hardy was beloved and MVP was hated this was the reverse. Matt Hardy uses his brutality but MVP took the fight to him. Twist of Fate is blocked and Matt Hardy is shoved into the corner. Running kick sets up a double leg take down for the pin.

Batista retained the World Heavyweight Championship over John Cena, Rey Mysterio, and Randy Orton. Four of Smackdown's top superstars competed in this one fall to a finish, texas tornado Extreme Rules fatal four way match. Batista once again triumphed, after nailing Rey with the Batista Bomb as Cena and Orton were down after a superplex in the ring.

Batista celebrates the win tonight.

That is Extreme Rules 2011. Coming up next, the 2011 WWE Draft.

Me too! Gulp! This looks excellent, and while I'm not familiar with your previous 2-year diary, it all looks brilliant so far and right up my street! Loved the MVP Title win. And what looks to be Del Rio's, sorry, Banderas' Year-Long battle to face the Undertaker at next year's Wrestlemania :D

Also... Douglas Williams is Reginald Douglas:D Love this!

WWE RAW for May 2nd 2011

Tonight it's WWE RAW, it's the 2011 WWE Draft show and we show some highlights from Extreme Rules and on May 22nd 2011, World Wrestling Entertainment returns for Over the Limit 2011. Tonight we have several matches which will determine draft picks for RAW, Smackdown, and ECW.

WWE Champion Christian defeated ECW Champion MVP and World Heavyweight Champion Batista to earn two draft picks for RAW. This was a battle of champions for two draft picks and RAW got the early lead with Christian hitting MVP with the Killswitch after Batista left the ring. The announcers talk about how Batista doesn't care about Smackdown and in fact he threw the match, because that would mean less challengers for his title.

The draft wheel comes up and lands on Chris Jericho who will be returning to Monday Nights. He stares down Christian and yells that he's coming for that belt, putting the WWE Championship. Drew McIntyre is the second draft pick and he yells about much of the same. Both men have their eyes on the big prize but wanting to win the belt and actually winning the belt is two different things entirely.

Ted DiBiase Jr picked up the win over Goldust with the Dream Street DiBiase represented Smackdown and Goldust represented ECW. In the end, DiBiase allowed Goldust to hit the post on a zealous charge and pull out the Dream Street for the pin.

The draft wheel comes up and it's Mark Henry who is drafted to Smackdown. Henry looks menacing and walks down to the ring.

Kurt Angle made Alberto Banderas submit the Ankle Lock. Angle and Alberto battled, with Alberto's dream to go to Wrestlemania and take down the Undertaker being talked about. Angle takes down Banderas and slapped on the Ankle Lock for the submission victory.

The draft wheel is up once again and RAW gets another draft pick and....Ted DiBiase makes his way to RAW. He walks down to stare down Angle and Banderas kicks Angle in the back of the head and locks on the Armbar. Banderas is trying to cripple Kurt Angle and out comes security to pull them off.

Matt Hardy prepares to get a draft pick to ECW but he has a few words. He is going to get back the ECW Championship and prove MVP's victory was a fluke. The fans don't have the proper Mattitude to understand and his followers will worship the Altar of Matthew.

Matt Hardy made Kofi Kingston submit to a guillotine choke Hardy, representing ECW, isolates RAW's Kingston. Kofi hits the corner and Hardy slaps on the guillotine choke, and three drops of the arm later he gets the win.

Hardy waits and Joe Hennig has been picked on the draft wheel. The Fortunate Sons have been split up on three separate shows with Brett Dibiase on Smackdown, Ted DiBiase on RAW, and Joe Hennig on ECW, unless Brett gets drafted to another show, they're all alone.

Sheamus pinned Finlay with the Brogue Kick Smackdown's Finlay took back RAW's Sheamus in the battle between the fighting Irish Men. Finlay was nailed with a kick and the Brogue Kick nailed Finlay, rocking him for the pin.

The draft wheel rolls up and Alberto Banderas has been drafted to RAW! Banderas poses for the crowd and he's now off of Smackdown.

John Cena pinned Bryan Danielson with the Attitude Adjustment RAW was represented by Danielson and Smackdown was represented by Cena. This was a back and forth bout with Cena countering the attempted LaBell Lock and hitting the Attitude Adjustment. Cena uses the "you can't see me" hand motion mockingly and pins Danielson, getting huge heel heat from the fans.

The draft wheel pops up and R-Truth is making his way to Smackdown. R-Truth does a dance as he makes his way to the ring to cheers from the WWE Universe.

Evan Bourne pinned Garrett Steen with the Air Borne The WWE Intercontinental Champion Evan Bourne representing Smackdown defeated the ECW Television Champion Garrett Steen, representing ECW. Steen suffers his first loss in WWE, although he gives Bourne who has taken men such as Chris Jericho and CM Punk to the limit. Air Bourne got the pin.

The draft wheel pops up and Smackdown gets another pick and that pick is John Morrison, making his return to Friday Nights. Morrison walks out, and he eyeballs Bourne and the Intercontinental Title Belt.

Randy Orton pinned Chris Jericho with the RKO Jericho is now representing RAW, replacing Morrison who just got drafted to Smackdown, and Orton is representing Smackdown. Orton and Jericho have an impressive match. Orton blocks the Code Breaker and hits the RKO.

The draft wheel comes up for the final time and Batista comes out to talk about how no matter who is drafted, no one can stand up to him. Batista turns around into the huge knock out punch of the latest Smackdown draftee which turns out to be The Big Show.

Big Show stands over the World Heavyweight Champion as RAW goes off the air.

RAW Prediction Scores:

The Booker: 5/7

The Lloyd: 4/7

ECW on Sy Fy May 3rd 2011

Matt Hardy is out at the top of the show and he demands an ECW Championship Match later tonight with MVP. MVP and Hardy have a back and forth and ECW General Manager Tommy Dreamer comes out. He makes the match but he says this is Hardy's only title shot, his return match.

The Wizards of Innovation(Ace Donovon and Chris Storm) defeated Goldust and Jimmy Wang Yang The Wizards of Innovation scored the win here on ECW on Sy Fy and defeated these two veterans. A running dropkick sets up a standing Sliced Bread #2 to score the pin.

We see a grainy promo, featuring the Specialists, Kaval, Jack Swagger, and the Hart Dynasty, former members of the Illuminati. They all say that it was CM Punk's fault what happened and they want their way back into WWE. Swagger states that there is nothing that they won't do to get back into the number one sports entertainment company in the world.

The announcers discuss what happened with the Illuminati and after what happened, they agree that the group should be blackballed from WWE for life given all of the injuries they caused, with Vince McMahon and Triple H being among their most high profile victims.

Drew McIntyre pinned Curt Hawkins with the Future Shock Recent RAW draftee Drew McIntyre has his last match on ECW and takes down his opponent with the Future Shock DDT.

Garrett Steen talks about how next week he's going to defend the ECW Television Championship in a return match against Goldust in two weeks but tonight, he steps into the ring with Brian Kendrick who suffered a savage beating at the hands of Matt Hardy a few weeks ago. Steen promises to put him back into the hospital.

Garrett Steen made Brian Kendrick submit to a Half Boston Crab Brian Kendrick had a few moves up his sleeve but he hurt his knee. Steen picks apart the leg, delivers a rolling chop block, and makes Kendrick tap out to the Half Boston Crab. Steen may have lost on RAW but he picks up the win.

The Squared Circle Society of Wade Barrett and Reginald Douglas defeated The WWE Tag Team Champions the World's Greatest Tag Team in a non title match Douglas and Barrett picked up an impressive performace, with Shelton Benjamin slicing his elbow on the steps on the floor. This allowed Barrett to hoist up Haas and nail a flying European uppercut. The SCS picks up the win and that's got to put them in line for a WWE Tag Team Title shot down the line.

Joe Hennig has a vignette, saying that he's now moved to ECW, he'll be better than most second or thir and in fact, he'll be better than perfect.

ECW Champion MVP picked up the win over Matt Hardy with the a small package This got nearly twenty minutes and Matt Hardy fought with savage brutality, including using the belt when the referee was knocked out. However, the referee was knocked out too long. When Hardy tries to revive him, MVP rolls him up for the pin to keep the championship.

MVP celebrates but Matt Hardy attacks him after the match and nails him with a chair. Hardy tries to wedge MVP's neck into the chair and tries a flying legdrop but the referee's stop him. This allows MVP to escape with the gold. Hardy yells that ECW is his show and without him, this brand would not exist.

WWE Superstars 5/5/11

We have a hype for the main event with R-Truth taking on Vance Archer. R-Truth has been drafted to Smackdown but he's fulfilling contractual obligations by competing one on one tonight in the main event against Vance Archer.

Rodiguez Erazo got the win over Trent Barretta with a Cutter One half of the Dudebusters took it to the rough and tumble street brawler but Erazo hit him with a cutter off of the ropes to score the pin.

Mike Knox pinned Chavo Guerrero with the Knox Out Chavo tried to outmatch Knox but Knox's power was far more impressive than Chavo could realize. Frog Splash missed and Knox hit a huge dropkick and followed it up with the Knox Out.

Highlight of the RAW draft. The supplemental draft will be on WWE.com on Sunday afternoon at noon.

R-Truth pinned Vance Archer with a roll up out of the corner Archer had an undefeated streak in WWE for some time, but ever since losing it, he's been in a slump.
