Kelly's often criticised backstage attitude is believed to have played a role in his departure, with Duane Fry looking to improve the morale within the SWF camp. As such many fans will argue that Everest doesn't represent a huge loss to the company, and his departure does open up a spot on the roster. It will be interesting to see if Duane Fry 'makes do' with what he has, or looks to add a fresh face to the roster. If Fry does look to bring in a new face, will he promote from within and promote one of the RIPW development wrestlers to the main roster, or will he look to bring in from outside the company? [supreme TV comes on air with the now customary over-the-top pyrotechnic display, as the camera pans around tonight's sell out crowd. The camera finally settles on the commentary desk as we are welcomed to the show by lead announcer Peter Michaels.]

 

Peter Michaels:

“Ladies and gentleman welcome to the most controversial, action packed and in-your-face wrestling show on television today! Welcome to Supreme TV! Joining me at ringside are Duane Fry and Ana Garcia, and what a show we have for you tonight!”

Duane Fry:

“That's right Peter, we're only two days away from 'When Hell Freezes Over', and, ironically, things are really starting to heat up here in the SWF. We have two spots to fill in the 'Golden Opportunity' Ladder match here tonight, a match where the winner will receive a contract that will allow them to challenge for any title in the SWF... whenever they choose!”

Ana Garcia:

“And as if that match wasn't already unpredictable enough, it has been announced that the sixth spot in that match has already been filled by a 'mystery superstar'...”

Duane Fry:

“Certainly one to look forward to... as is the World Heavyweight Title match that will see the renewal of Steve Frehley and Remo's long running feud...”

Peter Michaels:

“And don't forget about Christian Faith. After James Prudence cost him the match in last months Main Event, I can't wait to see the 'Iron Man' beat some respect into 'Platinum' Prudence.”

Duane Fry:

“You may not even have to wait until Thursday! They'll be on opposite sides of the ring in tonight's blockbuster Main Event! Christian Faith teams up with SWF World Heavyweight Champion Steve Frehley, as they face James Prudence, who partners Steve Frehley's opponent at When Hell Freezes Over: Remo!”

 

 

[The show kicks off with the iconic music of Christian Faith filling the Mayor Street Arena. The Supreme Nation is on their feet to welcome the SWF legend, as the 'Iron Man' slowly makes his way out from the back. No dramatic pyro is necessary, as Faith stands at the top of the ramp and raises a solitary arm to salute the cheering fans. Dressed in a black leather jacket, black t-shirt and faded denim jeans, Faith lacks the extravagance of some of the other members of the SWF roster... but rather exudes the gritty toughness of a man who has been there and seen it all before. Faith slowly shuffles down to the ring, and is instantly handed a microphone by one of the ring assistants. Faith has to wait for the Supreme Nation to die down before he can begin speaking.]

 

Christian Faith:

“Now I've never been one to come out here and complain... I usually leave that to the Rich Money's of this world... but what happened at the end of Supreme TV last week needs to be addressed.

[pauses]

Now James Prudence, I understand that you want to 'make your mark'... but getting involved in other wrestlers matches is not how you win the respect of your fellow superstars... it's not how you win the respect of these people... and come Thursday night there will be nowhere for you to run, and we'll find out just how good you really are...”

 

[At this point the lights in the arena drop, stopping Faith mid-promo. The crowd then pop as the image of a comet illuminates the Eisen-tron. As the comet finishes it's path of destruction across the solar system and crashes into earth, the SWF Champion explodes from behind a shower of pyro in stark contrast to Faith's earlier understated entrance. The SWF Champion is quickly down to the ring, and jumps onto a turnbuckle to raise his SWF World Heavyweight Championship belt high in the air. During this entire show from Frehley, Christian Faith has not moved a muscle... nor has the expression on his face visually altered. As Frehley's elaborate entrance dies down, the SWF Champion offers Faith a handshake which, after a short delay, the 'Iron Man' takes.]

 

Steve Frehley:

“I saw what went down last week between you and Prudence, and I'm out here to say that someone needs to slap some respect into him.

[Frehley's statement receives a mixed reaction from the Supreme Nation, although Frehley seems oblivious.

] It ain't right what Prudence did last week. 'Cause we all know Remo ain't got nothin' on the 'Iron Man'... and Remo ain't got nothin' on Steve Frehley... and if Prudence hadn't got involved...”

 

[This time it's Steve Frehley who is cut short, as Remo's entrance music fills the Mayor Street Arena. Unlike Faith before him, Frehley becomes very animated as Remo appears through the Supreme Gates. Remo, microphone already in hand, begins barking his promo at Faith and Frehley, who are in the ring, as he makes his way down the ramp.]

 

Remo:

“You think Prudence made a difference? With Prudence, without Prudence... it don't matter to Remo! I'd have always walked away the winner. 'Iron Man' or not, nobody can stand up to the power of Remo... no exceptions.”

 

[by this point Remo has reached the ring, and despite being outnumbered two to one Remo enters the ring without a moments hesitation.]

 

Remo:

“And with that in mind,

[turning attention to Faith]

what makes you think you can beat me tonight?”

 

[Faith looks like he is about to respond, when he is blindsided by James Prudence who has appeared through the crowd. Frehley looks to jump in and help, but is levelled by Remo. While Faith was shocked by the initial attack, he is quickly able to overturn the odds and dump Prudence to the outside. Frehley and Remo are locked into a wild brawl on the opposite side of the ring. Neither man gives an inch, until Faith interjects, and between the two of them Faith and Frehley are finally able to dump Remo to the outside as well. With the faces alone in the ring standing tall, Faith is finally able to grab a microphone and deliver his response.]

 

Christian Faith:

[With the crowd chanting along]

“Because... I... Have... Faith!”

 

[The segment ends with Faith's iconic theme playing as the two babyfaces stand tall in the ring, looking down on an angry Remo. Who is breathing heavily and staring a hole through Steve Frehley.]

In-Ring Confrontation

Ana Garcia:

“What an explosive opening... I can only imagine what's going to go down in tonight's Main Event!”

Duane Fry:

“An explosive opening to what promises to be an explosive night. Make sure you don't go anywhere, Supreme TV will be back with our opening contest after this short break...”

• The match opens with a carbon-elbow tie up, and despite Rogue winning the advantage he still chooses to be cheap and stomp on Zimmy's foot... just because he can.
  
  
• Rogue takes control of the early goings with a stiff kick to Zimmy's midsection, and then grabbing his opponents hair and using it to throw Zimmy face first into a nearby turnbuckle. This earned Rogue a reprimand from the referee, not that Rogue seemed to care.
  
  
• Rogue continued to hold the upper hand, and continued testing the referees patience, for a few minutes until he looked to whip Zimmy off the ropes, but the young Bumfhole managed to use the momentum to hit a running, Swinging Neckbreaker on Rogue.
  
  
• With Zimmy taking charge, the pace of the match increased. Zimmy was able to land a few nice high flying moves, and looked to have Rogue in a spot of bother.
  
  
• However Zimmy was a little over exuberant with an attempted Flying Leg Drop, which Rogue was able to roll out of the way of.
  
  
• As Zimmy jumped back to his feet, Rogue hit a stiff Uppercut to send the young Bumfhole down to the mat.
  
  
• Grabbing Zimmy by his hair again, Rogue dragged his opponent over to the ropes where he began to choke Zimmy, right in front of Emma Chase. The referee counted to four-and-a-half, before pulling Rogue off of Zimmy.
  
  
• Chase, who to this point had been observing silently with her arms crossed, took the opportunity as the referee's back was turned as he dealt with Rogue, and slapped a recovering Zimmy Bumfhole right across the face.
  
  
• A stunned Zimmy staggered back into the middle of the ring, where Rogue, pushing the referee aside, was able to hit the Crashing On to secure the victory.

Peter Michaels:

“As we've seen so many times before, Rogue picks up a victory that leaves a sour taste in the mouth...”

Duane Fry:

“Rogue's a guy with enough talent to win matches without any of the distasteful antics... so why do it?”

Ana Garcia:

“I think he just does it because he can...”

Peter Michaels:

“As much as I disapprove of Rogue's tactics, I can't argue with their effectiveness. His feud with Valiant has been rumbling on for nearly 18 months now, but still Valiant hasn't found a way to beat him. Somehow, someway, Rogue always finds a way to sneak out with the 'W'...”

 

 

[The cameras cut backstage to Valiant, who has been watching Rogue's match on a monitor with Hannah. Valiant has a look of steel across his face, presumably due to Peter Michaels last comment on commentary. Hannah looks on at Valiant with a concerned look on her face.]

 

Hannah:

“It'll be okay Val, you'll beat him this time. I just know it...”

 

Unknown Voice:

“Beauty AND brains... such a

sexy

combination...”

 

[Valiant spins around to face the source of the voice, and the camera pans out to reveal Jack Bruce standing opposite Valiant and Hannah. Valiant's expression does not ease, as Hannah shyly steps behind Valiant slightly to hide herself from Jack Bruce. None of this seems to concern Bruce, who looks as calm and collected as ever and continues on in his lazy cool way.]

 

Jack Bruce:

“But your girl is right Vaaal

[bruce stretches the word 'Val' for effect]

... you'll beat Rogue this time, because you're teaming with the 'rock god' Jack Bruce.”

 

Valiant:

[tensely]

“I didn't ask for your help...”

 

Jack Bruce:

“Nobody 'asks' for Jack Bruce's help baby... but that don't mean that nobody needs it. Everyone could do with some help from the Brucemeister... there's just not enough of me to go around...”

 

[The normally calm and dignified Valiant shoots the rocker a dirty look, before replying slightly under his breath...]

 

Valiant:

“That's not how I heard it...”

 

Jack Bruce:

[laughing]

“Haha, well I always make myself available to my groupies... I like you kid. You'll do fine Thursday night... and savour it kid, it's not every night you get to hang with a rockstar!”

 

[With that Jack Bruce walks off screen, leaving Valiant and Hannah alone in shot. Valiant holds an icy stare in the direction Jack Bruce has just departed, while Hannah looks on concerned.]

Backstage Skit

Ana Garcia:

“Valiant doesn't seem to be too big a fan of Jack Bruce...”

Peter Michaels:

“It's not often we see Valiant looking so on the edge like that. I think this feud with Rogue is really starting to get to the kid... I think Rogue might have got inside his head.”

Duane Fry:

“Valiant really needs to get that win over Rogue... to get that monkey off his back. Once he gets that, I think we'll see the old Valiant back.”

Peter Michaels:

“Let's just hope he and Jack Bruce can coexist long enough for that to happen!”

 

• Emma Chase was pulling double duty here, as she accompanied Paul Huntingdon to ringside for the first of two Golden Opportunity Qualifier matches on tonights show.
  
  
• Huntingdon looked confident as the two men locked up for the first carbon-elbow tie up, but soon found himself pushed to the floor by the much larger Retro.
  
  
• Huntingdon pulled himself back to his feet and charged Retro, but was floored by a Clothesline.
  
  
• Retro took control of the match with a series of power moves, including a Body Slam and a high impact Powerslam that earned Retro a two-and-a-half count.
  
  
• Retro retained control of the match up, and entertained the crowd with his celebratory dance moves, until a missed Clothesline attempt allowed Huntingdon back into the match with a Flying Shoulder Block.
• Huntingdon then managed to stunt Retro's momentum as he chopped the Heavyweight's legs from beneath him as Retro tried to regain his feet.
  
  
• While this allowed Huntingdon back into the match, the contest became very open with both men landing some heavy hitting moves.
  
  
• This period seemed to come to an end when Robbie Retro nailed Huntingdon with another Powerslam to earn him another two-and-a-half count, and regain the momentum.
  
  
• Pulling Huntingdon back to his feet, Retro set him up for a Disco Ball Powerbomb (full with night fever dancing theatrics). Retro lifted Huntingdon onto his shoulders, but the Brit was able to struggle and roll out of the back and roll Retro up into a pinning position. Seeing the referee out of position, Huntingdon grabbed the tights... which proved just enough to hold Retro down for the three count and allowed Huntingdon to steal the victory.
  
  
• Huntingdon quickly scrambled out of the ring and met Emma Chase on the ramp, who raised Huntingdon's arm in the air as we fade to adverts...

As ever the hulking figure of Brandon James looks slightly awkward stuffed into a suit and stood next to the small, slender figure of Emma Chase (who is really earning her pay check, with her third appearance of the night...). When Brandon James begins to speak, the delivery of his promo is also quite awkward... almost as if he were reading from a script...]

 

Brandon James:

“2013 promises to be a huge year for Brandon James and the Chase Agency.

[pauses]

The Chase Agency enters 2013 in great shape, having capped 2012 off in style with our 'stable warfare' victory at Christmas Clash. With this springboard, and our current support structure and leadership, the Chase Agency could not be better placed to continue our growth throughout 2013 and beyond. I see no reason why the Agency can't deliver on the promise Miss Chase made before Christmas Clash, and produce a World Heavyweight Champion by the end of 2013... but that all lies in the future. For now my focus lies solely on When Hell Freezes Over... where by pinning Jack Bruce I will show that 2013 really is the year of 'Big Money'.”

“The man doesn't actually think for himself. He's told what to do, what to say, what to wear... he's spent the past few years being moulded into the 'face' of the Chase Agency...”

 

 

[We cut away from Brandon James and Emma Chase and find the camera focused on an arriving limo. As the limo pulls to a stop, Enforcer Roberts steps out from the back seat and walks around to open the car door for Eric Eisen. Enforcer Roberts then leads Eisen from the car park to a corridor inside the Mayor Street Arena.]

 

Duane Fry:

“Eric Eisen not taking any chances after being chased out of Illinois State Park by Angry Gilmore last week...”

Peter Michaels:

“Enforcer Roberts has been the Eisen family's personal security for over a decade now. Eric knows he's in good hands with Phil...”

 

[The younger Eisen looks supremely confident as he is led through a corridor by Enforcer Roberts, but his smug grin is wiped off his face as he is jumped from behind...]

 

Duane Fry:

“That's Gilmore! Gilmore's got Eisen!”

 

[Gilmore begins to wail away on Eisen with right hands, until Enforcer Roberts (having heard the commotion) returns to the scene to pull Gilmore off Eisen. Gilmore & Roberts exchange heavy right hands, but eventually Gilmore is able to overwhelm Roberts and take him down with a DDT to the concrete floor. With Roberts dealt with, Gilmore returns to Eisen, who is just recovering his feet using a nearby wall for support. Grabbing Eisen, Gilmore sets him up for the Anger Management (Forward Russian Leg Sweep) and delivers the move, driving Eisen head first into the wall. Enforcer Roberts returns at this point with a team of security to chase Gilmore off, but the damage is already done... Eisen is out cold! Roberts barks at one of the security guards to get a medic, as he looks to make sure Eisen is okay...]

“We said last week that Eisen would live to regret his attack on Gilmore, and tonight we have seen the first evidence of that!”

Ana Garcia:

“Eisen was lucky so many security guards were nearby, or Gilmore could have done even more damage!”

Duane Fry:

“You saw how aggressive Gilmore was tonight... imagine what he's going to do to Eisen when he faces him this Thursday at When Hell Freezes Over?”

Peter Michaels:

“Eisen won't be able to hide behind security, he'll have nowhere to run... he'll have no choice but to face a very, very pissed off Angry Gilmore head on...”

Duane Fry:

“That is NOT a position anyone wants to find themselves in!”

 

• With The All-Americans facing The Pain Alliance for the World Tag Team Titles at When Hell Freezes Over, this match served as an appetiser for the event... with both men looking to gain some valuable momentum for their respective team.
  
  
• The match was a real brawl, with both men looking to utilise their main asset (hitting people... hard) in order to gain an advantage.
  
  
• Des Davids was quickly able to gain the advantage, as the former football player overwhelmed Big Smack Scott with a series of Clotheslines and throws.
  
  
• Seeing this, Kurt Laramee burst out from the back and looked to get involved in the match... however before he could really get involved, American Machine came from the back to cut him off short. The two men brawled outside the ring as the match continued.
  
  
• Back in the ring, Big Smack Scott was in real trouble, as Des Davids adopted the three point stance. Sure enough, as Big Smack Scott regained his feet he was immediately run over by a Quarterback Sack which earned Davids a win leading into When Hell Freezes Over.

• Despite the reward that was on offer for the victor, Joe Sexy seemed less interested in wrestling than showing off for Dawn The Cheerleader, who was at ringside in her role as manager of the Bumfholes, to the point that he slid out of the ring in an attempt to get himself 'better acquainted' with Dawn.
  
  
• Dawn was clearly not interested in Sexy's sleazy advances... not that this seemed to discourage Sexy one bit. Sexy continued hitting on Dawn, as Randy Bumfhole got more and more impatient back in the ring.
  
  
• Finally growing bored of Sexy's antics, Randy bounced off of the far rope to build momentum for a Springboard Cross Body over the top rope that sent the Bumfhole crashing right into the unsuspecting Joe Sexy.
  
  
• Randy quickly grabbed the downed Sexy, and tossed him back in the ring. Randy was able to stay on top of his much larger opponent with a series of high flying, high tempo moves that kept Sexy off balance.
  
  
• Sexy just couldn't get hold of Randy, as the Bumfhole whizzed around the ring.
  
  
• Randy's momentum continued to grow, as he moved faster and faster around the ring. Heading to the top rope, Randy was able to nail a Flying Cross Body on Sexy, but the move only earned him a two count.
  
  
• Not giving Sexy a moments pause, Randy quickly followed up his initial pin attempt with a Roll Up pinning attempt. The move earned Randy a two count, but Sexy was able to roll through and create a roll up pin of his own.
  
  
• With referee Darren Smith having been in position for Randy's initial pin, he now found himelf out of position for Sexy's pin. Seeing this, Sexy quickly capatalised and used the nearby second rope for extra leverage. This proved just enough to keep Randy's shoulders down for the three, meaning that, despite having no offence in this match whatsoever, Joe Sexy would be the man taking his place in the 'Golden Opportunity' Ladder Match on Thursday night.

• The match kicks off with Remo and Faith in the ring. Continuing on from their match last week, the two men brawl back and forth with neither man able to gain much of an advantage in the early stages.
  
  
• Eventually however, the extra power and strength of Remo would overwhelm the 'Iron Man', allowing Remo to take control with a Stiff Clothesline, followed by an impressive Running Powerslam.
  
  
• Remo retains control, as he keeps Faith grounded and beats the life out of the 'Iron Man'. With Faith really struggling, Remo tags in James Prudence who has been begging to get in on the action.
  
  
• Prudence begins stomping away at the weakened Faith, looking really pleased with him self as he taunts the crowd.
  
  
• The Heels make good use of frequent tags, as they continue to work away on Christian Faith. Despite their domination however they cannot put Faith away, with the 'Iron Man's' legendary resilience on show.
  
  
• During this beat down the camera continually cuts to Steve Frehley on the apron, who is visibly getting more and more riled up at being on the sidelines in this match... but Faith just can't get over to make the tag.
  
  
• Following another Running Powerslam from Remo, a visibly frustrated Frehley comes in to break up the pin. Referee Darren Smith immediately orders Frehley out of the ring, and stands between Frehley and the action trying to usher him back to the apron. While Smith tries to deal with Frehley, this opens up the opportunity for the Heels to double team the already weakened Faith... which only pisses Frehley off further.
  
  
• After nearly ten minutes of being beaten down, things are looking desperate for Faith as he is being stomped repeatedly by James Prudence. Prudence hauls the near lifeless Faith to his feet, and looks to bounce him off the ropes. Prudence drops his shoulder, presumably for a Back Body Drop, but telegraphs the move allowing Faith to kick Prudence in the chest, a move that is immediately followed by a stiff Clothesline.
  
  
• With both men down, Faith begins to struggle towards his corner. Prudence crawls to the opposite side of the ring and pulls himself up on the ropes, but by the time he realises what is happening it is too late and Faith makes the hot tag to Frehley!
  
  
• Frehley, having been left stewing on the ring apron for this entire match, leaps into action, running over James Prudence with a huge Clothesline. Remo steps into the ring to face Frehley, but is met by a Clothesline as well. Prudence is back to his feet and... Frehley's Comet! Prudence is turned inside out as the World Heavyweight Champion nails him with his finisher (Spear).
  
  
• Frehley drops down and covers the lifeless Prudence. Prudence isn't kicking out, but Remo breaks up the pin by hauling Frehley up and off of Prudence. Remo lays into the champion with a series of right hands, before both men go over the top rope as Remo looks to dump Frehley to the outside.
  
  
• The brawl continues on the outside, with both men trading heavy blows, as back in the ring both Faith and Prudence are out for the count.
  
  
• Frehley and Remo continue beating the holy hell out of each other, as back in the ring Prudence slowly stirs back into consciousness and drags himself back to his feet.
  
  
• Seeing Faith slowly pulling himself up, Prudence grins to himself and before Faith can fully recover a standing position Prudence sends him back to the mat with a Surf's Up! (Jumping Legdrop Bulldog/Fame Asser)
  
  
• Prudence hops back to his feet celebrating, and turns right into a second Frehley's Comet from Steve Frehley, who had slid back into the ring behind Prudence having sent Remo head first into the steel steps. Frehley makes the cover, and Remo's not there to save Prudence this time.

[Following the three count, Steve Frehley grabs his title belt and raises it high above his head. As ever, the SWF World Heavyweight Champion has a smirk plastered on his face... one which was quickly wiped out as he was jumped from behind by a recovered Remo. At this point Faith has regained some consciousness and is trying to pull himself up on the ring ropes. Seeing this, Remo drags Faith to the middle of the ring and nails him with The Destroyer.]

 

[Remo huffs and puffs as he glares menacingly down at Faith, but is then surprised as a recovered Frehley leaps back in to life and lands a heavy right hand on the number one contender. All carnage then breaks lose as the two Heavyweight's brawl wildly. The ring is not able to hold the action as the brawl quickly moves to the outside, as waves of SWF security stream out from behind the Supreme Gates to try and break it up. This proves unsuccessful however, as Frehley and Remo continually break through the security to recommence the brawling. Supreme TV ends with chaotic scenes, as Frehley and Remo continue to beat the holy hell out of each other to end the show...]

Word out of the Supreme camp last night stated that the company was 'delighted' by the news, and that the company would be taking 'appropriate steps' in order to capitalise on the rise. Speculation is rife online as to what this could mean. Supreme TV expanding onto foreign networks, an influx of foreign wrestling talent, a brand new SWF TV show to debut and dozens of other ideas are currently floating around online. I'm really excited for this show, and feel I've gone 'all in' on this one. Hopefully it will be a good read.</p><p> </p><p> Just one last point regarding predictions: While I'm not currently running a prediction contest, I am planning to start one up in the near future. I don't like running a 'contest' with no clear prize or reward in mind. It's great that people are predicting anyway, and please do continue. I just wanted to let people know what was happening, and that there will be a prediction contest starting once a few pieces have fallen in to place.
