I understand jobbing them out to Z-Man and Martel but I am not sure if you will job them out to Haku and Tama (It is Tama right?).</p><p> </p><p>

3. Outback Jack vs. <strong>Kamala</strong></p><p> </p><p>

I used to be a huge fan of Outback Jack when I was a kid.</p><p> </p><p>

5. <strong>Rick Martel </strong>vs. Bret Hart</p><p> </p><p>

I know this will probably not happen but I went with a lot of heel wins so one face has to win, I shall go with Martel.</p><p> </p><p>

Gorilla: Hello and welcome to beautiful Baltimore, MD for this week's edition of Superstars of Wrestling! I'm Gorilla Monsoon and alongside me is Jesse "The Body" Ventura!

Jesse: You know, as much as I don't want to be in Baltimore, the fact that it is only two short weeks away from Wrestlemania III has got me excited!

Gorilla: Why don't you want to be in Baltimore, Jesse?

Jesse: Well think about it, Gorilla. If the Colts left here to go to Indianapolis of all places and the Bullets moved down the road to Washington, D.C. This obviously isn't a very good place to be!

Gorilla: Will you be serious?!

After the match, Race and Heenan try to make Rheingans bow, when JYD rushes in and takes out Race. Rating C+

Ventura: Now what kind of thing was THAT, Monsoon?!?! HE is supposed to be someone that all of these kids look up to?!?!

Monsoon: If you ask me, Jess, The King had it coming after his assault on JYD last week!

Ventura: Race was just trying to knock some humility into the miserable mutt! He is a king and JYD was disrespecting him! He should be thanking the King for letting him off that easy! At Wrestlemania III, JYD should practicing his best curtsey, because that's what he'll be doing after Harley gets through with him!

Monsoon: That remains to be seen, Jess. For all you know, it will be Race curtseying to the NEW King, Junkyard Dog.

A Piper's Pit segment was about to begin when Jimmy Hart interrupted and started yelling at Piper. This distraction allowed Adrian Adonis to sneak up on Piper and attack him. He ended throwing Piper through the set of Piper's Pit and then laid a flower on top of Piper. Rating C+

Gene Okerlund: Please welcome my guests at this time, "The 8th Wonder of the World" Andre The Giant and his manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!

http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu307/KingofOldSchool/AndreTheGiant_zps927e9fca.jpghttp://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu307/KingofOldSchool/BobbyHeenan3_zps0bdb905c.jpg

Okerlund: Last week, Hulk Hogan was up here saying how you, Bobby Heenan, brainwashed him into wanting a title match. What do you have to say about that?

Heenan: *laughs* Brainwashed? I didn't brainwash this man, no. The only thing I did was open this man's eyes. Now did I purposely do this so he would stand by MY side? You damn right I did! Even you, Okerlund, are not stupid enough to know that I'm no fool. I've had his large hands around me throat a number of times over the years. Did I want that to continue? NO! So I did what any man with brains would do. I got him to see my way of thinking. That way of thinking is that we both had a common enemy. Hulk Hogan.

Now Andre didn't agree with me at first, but then I laid it all out for him. He's been undefeated his WHOLE CAREER. NOBODY has ever pinned his shoulders, nor made him submit. So shouldn't he be WWF Champion? NO! You know why? Because Hulk Hogan is AFRAID of this man! Andre could have taken that title anytime he wanted. However, Andre was more worried about being friends with everyone. I got him to realize that friends don't do anything for you except hold you back! Now look at him! After he stopped being friends with that chump, Hogan, and he stopped caring about what these humanoids think, he is two short weeks away from getting what is rightfully his, the World Wrestling Federation Championship!

Hogan, think about this when you go to sleep tonight, if Andre was an unstoppable force when he was nice and friendly, think about how he'll be that he only cares about himself.

Andre: HOGAN! PAY TIME IS OVA! AT THE WRESTLEMANIA III...YOUR BELT AND YOUR BODY WILL BE MINE. I WILL BE THE NEW WORLD WORLD WRESTLING CHAMPION! HA! HA! HA!

However, I can confirm that a MAJOR signing happened and they will be joining the WWF very soon. Best guess will be right after Wrestlemania, but they may also want to prolong the debut until later this summer. Smart money would be with this guy be involved in the Wreslemania IV main event, but stranger things have happened.</p><p> </p><p> With Roddy Piper's rumored retirement right around the corner, the hole in the #2 babyface spot will need to be filled. Ricky Steamboat seems the likeliest to assume the role, but Jake Roberts is getting a lot of popularity since his babyface turn. One of the newly signed guys could take over as well and Randy Savage turning babyface is a possibility as well, but right now I think Steamboat would be the best choice.</p><p> </p><p> Wrestlemania III from the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit, MI is over a week away and as of this time, 6 matches has been announced. Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant for the WWF Title, Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat for the IC Title, Roddy Piper vs. Adrian Adonis in a Hair match, Harley Race vs The Junk Food Dog in a Bowing match, The Hart Foundation vs. The Can-Am Connection for the tag titles, and Jake Roberts vs. Kamala. Judging by this past week's TV, look for Jim Duggan vs. Paul Orndorff to be announced as well. Look for at least one or two matches to be announced as well, probably featuring guys like Hercules, Honky Tonk Man, and Tito Santana.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks for reading. Next week will feature a Wrestlemania III preview.</p></div></blockquote>

The one thing I wish this game could simulate is 80's TV. Back then there is no way this would ever be shown on Superstars. However, the game does not work that way so here it is...</p>

Gorilla: Hello and welcome to Los Angeles, California for this week's edition of Superstars of Wrestling! I'm Gorilla Monsoon and alongside me is Jesse "The Body" Ventura!

Jesse: This is my home away from home, LA, Gino!

Gorilla: We have an exciting card for you this week, including the World Wrestling Federation title on the line, Hulk Hogan will put his title on the line just over a week until his showdown with Andre The Giant at Wrestlemania III against King Kong Bundy!

Jesse: Big mistake from Chump Hogan! Even if Bundy doesn't win the title, he'll just soften up Hogan for Andre. If Hogan had any brains, he'd take the DQ or Countout loss and live to fight another day.

Gorilla: Highly unlikely, Jess. Unlike you, he backs down from no challenge!

Jesse: Well then he'll be a former champion, Monsoon!

*Tom Zenk is showing going into the locker room and walking up to Rick Martel*

Zenk: Where were you out there?!?!

Martel: What do you mean?

Zenk: Where were you when Jimmy Hart was costing me my match?!

Martel: Calm down, Tom. We agreed when we accepted the single matches against The Hart Foundation that we would go out there on our own. We also agreed that we would not come out to ringside in the other's match unless their partner tried to get involved.

Zenk: So what, does their manager not count?!

Martel: I'm not saying that, but he will always be at their side. He's their manager, you and I do not manage each other, we're a tag team and it wasn't a tag match.

Zenk: But we're friends.

Martel: Yes, but we don't have a manager's license.

Zenk: Then we should get a manager to make sure that little pest doesn't get into our matches.

Martel: Tom, we don't need a manager. Managers do more harm than good.

Zenk: Not if we get one that we can trust. Do you want to be tag champs?

Martel: Of course.

Zenk: And do you want peace of mind knowing we won't have to worry about Jimmy Hart?

Martel: Of course.

Zenk: Well then, let's hire a manager. Trust me, Ricky.

Martel: ....I'll think about it.

*Martel walks off*

Zenk: Come on, Ricky! Do it for the team!

Here is the latest newsletter.

The Wrasslin' Onlooker

By: Davey "Cheddar" Meltz

Wrestlemania III is coming up this weekend and the card is pretty much finalized.

Confirmed matches:

Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant for the WWF Title

Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat for the IC title

Roddy Piper vs. Adrian Adonis in a hair match in Piper's rumored retirement match

Harley Race vs. The Junkyard Dog where the loser must bow to the winner.

The Hart Foundation vs. The Can-Am Connection for the Tag Titles.

Jake Roberts vs. Kimala

Paul Orndorff vs. Jim Duggan

Rumored:

The Honky Tonk Man vs. Tito Santana

Hercules vs. Billy Jack Haynes

The Dream Team vs. The British Bulldogs

I don't know how much thought has been put into the rumored matches, although I doubt they would book the tag match two years in a row. Herc vs. Haynes makes sense because they can play up both of them using the Full Nelson as a finisher. The Honky/Santana match would be nothing more than filler, probably to put Honky over more as a heel.

As for the announced card, I don't think there is anyway to bet against Hogan unless Andre gets in a grumpy mood and refuses to put Hogan over, but I doubt he will do that. I say Steamboat wins the IC strap just because it fits in with the story, whether he has a long reign with it is another issue.

The Piper/Adonis match can go either way. Piper has been growing his hair out, which would normally indicate that person is losing a hair match. On the other hand, it might hurt him with any potential movie roles by getting a haircut. I wouldn't be surprised to see Adonis getting a fluke win, then someone turns babyface and prevents Piper getting his head shaved and only gets a few locks cut, then beats down Adonis and Co. so Piper can have a big send off.

The Junkfood Dog/Harley Race match might be the only non decisive finish of the show. I see them doing a double countout or something, thus preventing either one from having to bow to the winner. Personally, I find the tag title match the most difficult match to predict. The recent angle played out on TV where Zenk was frustrated and wanted him and Martel to get a manager, Martel hesitated, then said he would think about it. Where do they go from here?

1. Martel agrees and then they find a babyface manager (Lou Albano returning? A new manager? A current manager turning babyface?).

2. Martel says no, thus angers Zenk and Zenk turns heel.

3. Martel says no, Zenk understands.

4. Martel agrees, but they disagree on who should be their manager leading to one turning heel?

5. Martel agrees, then a double turn happens at Wrestlemania III where Jimmy Hart turns on The Hart Foundation and joins with a now heel Can-Am Connection.

Out of those, 3 would be least likely since the angle they ran would have been pointless. I think #1 is most likely as there have been rumors of Captain Lou returning and you know how he loves his tag teams. I can see that happening and then Can-Am win the belts.

As for the other two matches, I'm going with Jake over Kimala as Jake seems more of permanent fixture in the company and knowing how Kimala is, he will probably be gone within the next 3 months. I'm also going with Duggan over Orndorff as there really isn't much left for Orndorff to do and Duggan is still relatively new in the company.

In other news since last newsletter, The Iron Sheik has gotten himself into trouble in the locker room over the weekend. First, he started a fight with Jim Powers, then he started farting a lot. Normally, he would have gotten by with the farting, but with it happening right after he started a fight, he got heat on him for it. This probably explained why he did a singles job to Billy Jack Haynes over the weekend.

Also, it has been noted that the WWF let Corporal Kirchner go from his contract after he failed a drug test. Kirchner was on thin ice anyway with the company, but failing the drug test made the firing a lot quicker. It is said Kirchner understood and had no hard feelings over it.

That's it for this week. Next week we will have a Wrestlemania III wrap up.

And in a special treat, we will see the in ring return of one "Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino.</p><p> </p><p> Ventura: Yes, but old man Sammartino will be in for the fight of his life against the awesome power of Hercules!</p><p> </p><p> Monsoon: Also, in a preview of Wrestlemania III, we will see a tag match featuring Heenan Family members "The King" Harley Race & "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff as they face their Wrestlemania opponents The Junkyard Dog & "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan!</p><p> </p><p> Ventura: Let's not forget about our main event, Roddy Piper has the chance of a lifetime in his last ever appearance on this program as he will battle for the Intercontinental Championship against Randy "Macho Man" Savage. I think it's a bad move on Piper's part, he's going to be humiliated just a day before being humiliated at Wrestlemania III!</p><p> </p><p> Monsoon: However, before that match, Piper will conduct his very last Piper's Pit with his guest, Macho Man's opponent at Wrestlemania III, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat! Do you understand what that means ya big dummy? In 24 short hours you will be standing in the ring with this man like you are right now. However, unlike right now, I won't be in the ring standing in between you two. Unlike right now, there will be no talking Hogan. The only thing you will see is this large, angry, frustrated, undefeated giant breathing down on you. You won't be able to see any of your humanoid Hulkamaniacs cheering you on, all you will see is the shadow of this man, Andre The Giant, over you. My question to you, Hogan, is, do you really want that?</p><p> </p><p> Do you want this man crushing the life, the red and the yellow out of you? Do you want your career to be shortened at the very large hands of Andre The Giant? I don't think you do. So here is what we are offering you, a chance to live in Giantmania, just like you let Andre live in Hulkamania, beneath him. You don't attempt to go after the WWF Title and Andre will let you live in his world. In fact, you can go after the winner of the Intercontinental title match at Wrestlemania III. We're that kind of guys. Now I won't be able to stop King Kong Bundy or Hercules from going after you then, but at least Andre The Giant will leave you be.</p><p> </p><p> All you have to do is give Andre the title. Give it to him and say "Andre, I'm sorry for ducking you the last 3 years. You're the only undefeated person in professional wrestling, you deserve this and not me." Then you extend your hand, and if Andre feels like it, he will shake your hand. Then you will get out of this ring and never show yourself to Andre again. But Hogan, you listen, this is the last bit of compassion Andre has left in him. You turn him down, he will show no remorse at Wrestlemania III. By the time he gets done with you, you will be crawling, pleading, begging for Andre to end it. Then when you extend your hand out at the time, you will be greeted with two hands around your neck.</p><p> </p><p> Andre: DO IT HOGAN, DON'T BE DUMMY!</p><p> </p><p> *Hogan looks around, looks at Heenan, looks at Andre, looks at the title*</p><p> </p><p> Hogan: You make some good points, Weasel. Andre is undefeated and Andre does deserve this. The one thing you are wrong about is Andre making me crawl, beg, and plead. There is no denying what Andre can do, man, but the one thing he can not do, brother, is crush Hulkamania. He can't destroy what I helped build over the last 3 plus years, Bobby Heenan! You can take my one time best friend, twist his mind and plant seeds of jealousy in his head, but you can't scare me into just handing Andre this title. If Andre wants this title, he will have to take it from me!</p><p> </p><p> Heenan: Alright! Since you're too stupid to listen to reason, maybe Andre will show you what will happen to you tomorrow night.</p><p> </p><p> *Andre goes to attack Hogan, but Hogan blocks it and starts punching away at Andre sending Andre to the outside*</p><p> </p><p> Rating A</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Post Show:</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="37274" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Butch Reed defeated Tito Santana in 7:31 by submission after interference from Slick.
