  1. Bushwhacker Luke winning a title in ECW wouldn't be that far fetched if he went back to his Sheepherder style of wrestling. They were quite violent and hardcore before Vince made them goofy buffoons.
  2. One thing I noticed during the Rumble (after not seeing a show for 10+ years) is that the announcers talked about past workers a lot more. Even mentioning Dean Ambrose, something that would not of happened years ago. Have they been doing this for a while or is it something new?
  3. This was the first wrestling show I have watched more than 5 minutes of in probably 12 years. Just got Peacock and am in quarantine atm the moment so I figured why not. I have to say it kept me entertained. I liked not having any knowledge about most of the wrestlers. i have to say that skinny guy that teams with Orton and rides the scooter looks like a dweeb but can do some pretty impressive stuff.
  4. Would it be possible to add a choice in the editor like with potential had in TEW16 for destiny role where it can be set as random, high, low etc. This would allow keeping most workers random and setting certain to make sure they don't get a bad role ala Hogan, Flair, The Rock.
  5. Given that a Grand Slam is a generally though of as a homer run that produces 4 runs, I would pick your four most important titles or the most important title at each level (main event, mid card, lower level, and tag).

  7. <p>Check out this thread. It might be what you are looking for:</p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=547940&highlight=panix" rel="external nofollow">http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=547940&highlight=panix</a></p>
  8. I agree. It is getting old seeing people tagged as employees and moderators talking down to people who have a criticism of the game. Doubt I will drop another dime on GDS games unless this changes.
  9. This is such a a poor statement. The game was built with an a mod converter. It doesn't correctly convert the attributes. That is a TEW20 issue.
  10. Hello everyone. I am currently working on modding the 2020 Cornellverse for TEW 16 and had some questions for people familiar with the Cverse. I am currently working on updating workers. As I have started, I have noticed that many of the workers who are free agents in both 16 and 20 remained basically unchanged. My question is are the workers who were free agents in both 16 and 20 who saw dramatic stat or popularity changes that I should make sure I don't miss? I am going to update every worker signed to a company but am on the fence about updating free agents who were virtually unchanged. Also any other advice or things to consider as this is my 1st time trying to mod an entire database would be appreciated. I also ask that this thread not turn into an argument between TEW 20 and TEW 16. It is ok for everyone to have their opinion on which of the two games they prefer. If I am able to complete this and Adam is ok with it, I will release the mod in the TEW 16 section. Thank you for anyone who takes time to provide input.
  11. OGpistolpete would you happen to have or know where I can get a copy of the 2016 version? I poked around but couldn't find it. Thanks.
  12. Maybe an option for future games would be to hire staff members who reports on each of the sections in the meetings. Want a report on who your best talkers are, hire someone to report. Don't want to know if someone is in time decline and figure it out for yourself, don;t hire anyone for the section. Maybe skills of the employee hired could correspond to how accurate the list is.
  13. Just curious if the trick of using the editor and changing a capped workers popularity to 100 for a day and then moving it back still works. If it does, this seems like the easiest solution. That way if a worker who you want to push has a cap, you can basically eliminate it, while not upsetting game balance and having everyone become uncapped.
  14. I just looked it up. While he was trained by Guide, there is no alter ego in the default database. Maybe it was from a mod or someone's dynasty?
  15. For me to purchase the game, products would have to be customizable, and it has been made clear that's not happening so I will pass on 2020.
  16. Your user characters name promotions i.e. Jim Crockett equals Jim Crockett Promotions presents WWF Superstars
  17. I doubt I will by the game, mainly due to the way products are no longer customizable, the UI and some of the QoL things that I believe have gone backwards. But most importantly, I feel that the sandbox element is gone. I have purchased every TEW game since 2005, but at this point will be passing on 2020. I am not posting this here to argue or say the game is broken or is no good. The reason I am posting it here is that after buying the previous six games, I wanted to provide feedback to Adam on why I am passing on this version. He can choose to do with the feedback as he pleases. Again, I get that many people love the game as is and am not trying to tell you that your wrong. Not every game is for everyone.
  18. Will be the first TEW game since 2005 that I will most likely not buy.
  19. Nightshadeex were you the one who did the CV 2010 mod for 16 too?
  20. From Adam himself from the Development Journal: #49: A few last minute changes As we reach the last few days before the public demo is released, there's a few last minute changes to go over.

I just loaded a new game and I can do it now. Must have been because I started the save when I couldn't edit the contracts with the original release and not on of the patches. Or it was just a glitch. Thanks again for chiming in!</p>

I just edited Aaron Andrews's contract from 1333 days to 1000 days with no issue and I am playing as SWF and he works for TCW. Not sure if you have a bug, or if you couldn't do this before the latest patch as I never checked. I know this only address one of your points, but I figured I could at least help out with something lol</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for the heads up on the editing contracts. I am on patch 4, haven't updated to 5 yet. Maybe it changed. I know when it first came out, I could edit workers who didn't work for me, but not my own. In patch 4 it switched. Maybe it's a bug or was just in the process of being worked out.</p>
