stratusfaction
I'm working on a new diary and I'm wanting my shows to air on the LOGO channel which is primarily a lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered network. I've never seen this network in any of the mods and I'm terrible with creating stats, so I was wondering what should the stats be like for this network? Any suggestions or help would be GREATLY appreciated! I've put the links to the LOGO wikipedia page and website, that way you can get a feel of what the network is all about! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logo_TV http://www.logotv.com/ Thanks in advance! cappyboy
Would I be correct in guessing you running a women's fed and wanting to promote to lesbian audience? Sort of an anti-BSC as it were. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

PhenomenalPat
<p>A survey done in August said the network averages 38,000 viewers a day...I think that would make them a very small network.</p><p> </p><p> Based on the cable companies that carry the channel, I would guess that their coverage would be nationwide in the U.S. I'm not really familiar with the channel so I'm unsure of any other countries that may carry it.</p><p> </p><p> A solid idea though, I do alot of women's games...and Lifetime has been a go to network for me, as they cater to women viewers.</p>
electric appliance
According to their website, they're not shown outside the US. So to add to PhenomenalPat's post, style most likely cult, wrestling neutral, risk levels maybe high (something "adult" like Spike TV), and probably it'd only carry one show. stratusfaction
<p>Thanks guys for all the information. The more I think about it, the more I'm not for sure about putting my fed on this channel.</p><p> </p><p> I'm resurrecting GLOW and I'm not sure LOGO would be the right network for this type of show. I originally thought that the outlandish gimmicks would appeal to the gay men, me being one of them, but then CAPPYBOY mentioned the lesbian audience. I'm not sure there would be that many lesbians watching a show like this in real life. </p><p> </p><p> What do you guys think? Would a show like GLOW, with sexed up female characters, work in real life on a network like LOGO that kinda caters to gay men?</p><p> </p><p> LOGO showed the GLOW documentary a few years ago only on their network, that's where I got the idea of airing my fed's show on that channel, so should I stick with LOGO because of that or branch out to a different network?</p>
PhenomenalPat
<p>Bravo maybe...</p><p> </p><p> Between Queer Eye, Real Houswifes, Style to Rock & Fashion Queens they seem to like the outlandish characters. It's also a bigger, more respected and known network.</p>
electric appliance
ICF and Sundance could also work, maybe. But "sexed up female characters" sounds more like something late night in Spike TV?
fullMETAL
<p>If WOW was any indication of how GLOW would play for a more "modern" audience, a GLOW revival (but more jazzed up in production values, naturally) would probably work best on a cable channel like Bravo or late night on a regular network like Fox.</p><p> </p><p> WOW had aired season 1 on late night Saturdays on Fox leading up to its pay-per-view, Unleashed. While its production values certainly weren't "Fox grade", I think doing revived GLOW on a "regular network" could work at, say, Saturday nights like the old Crockett Slot or something.</p><p> </p><p> Try TBS or TNT, perhaps.</p>
