2001: A Zuffa Odyssey

Recommended Posts

So here we have the original release of my 2001 scenario

http://www.sendspace.com/file/2t8j7g--This is an .exe file download at your own risk.

I have basically taken a Modern Warriors and retro fitted it to Jan 2001, so when Zuffa took over the UFC, the debut system is pretty similar to the original Dawn of MMA scenario and to give a flavour of the kind of work that has gone and will continue to go in to this, I have so far really focused on putting together a workable game world and getting the fighters right, as a result there are now 44 companies and 3,610 fighters.

Here are some things to bare in mind:

1) This is still a work in progress

2) I need feedback!

So please let me know what needs updating, I know the fight camps and TV/PPV needs some work and I would be really appreciative of how people think this should go in terms of levels and volumes as I have not changed anything from the Modern Warriors pack I have retro fitted.

I would also like feedback on things like whether Pride/Hero's should have financial crashes or closing when they ended to make way for Dream and Sengoku for instance, or how I have not yet changed where MMA is legal/regulated and I would love some feedback on this. And basically anything you think would improve the scenario.

Also I am very fallible and have favourite MMA fighters and fighters I dislike, so if you think I have been too generous or too miserly with the stats let me know and I will have a think about updating the scenario.
