Note; the events leading up to 2013 as defined by the Cornellverse, for the purpose of this dynasty, have not taken place. Any backstage segments (Rewind, Fast-Forward, etc...) serve the purpose to essentially "rewrite the history" of the Cornellverse. Hope you enjoy.

"Did you miss me?"

[ REWIND ]

Shane Sneer: "I'm sorry Sam, but after much thought I just don't know how I'm supposed to maintain a women's division that is no longer generating interest with the viewers. Our goal here is to entertain, not force people to sit through something just to get to the good stuff...

So here's how it's going to go: I'm going to commence termination proceedings with the women's division. However, I've been chatting with Alicia and she said that she's comfortable working as a manager, she just needs to find the right person to work with. By mid-next week, the women's division will be no more and the championship will have been retired...

Of course, this is how I'm looking at it, and although it's my plan, I still need the go-ahead from you.

What do you think?"

Sam Strong: "Shane, you know me. You know I don't stick my head into your end of the business as long as you don't stick your head into mine. Just answer me one question...

Are you prepared to put your job on the line for this?"

Shane Sneer: "Sir, I've never been more confident in my life.

Sam Strong: "Good. Then do it."

[ FAST FORWARD ]

Sam Strong: "Shane... I'd like to speak to you about an ongoing issue we've been facing...

Shane. It's been four months, Alicia's only been working house shows and you haven't made any efforts to find her a client to manage.

I'm just going to get to it: bottom line, Alicia's ready to leave, Shane.

Now, normally this would be enough for me to consider letting you go and arrange for a new booker to take over and handle her the way she deserves to be handled. But I've been working this business for fifty years Shane, and it's time for me to back out too. So here's how it's going to go. Alicia's going to walk away, I'm going to walk away, and so are you.

I've opened the promotion up to bidding from outside investors, and Danny will handle the company until someone is ready to take on the promotion."

Shane Sneer: "Sir, you can't be..."

Sam Strong: "I'm not here to discuss anything, Shane. I'm here to let you know what's going to happen. You have until tomorrow to get your things and head out. Alicia and I will be doing the same. Say your goodbyes but I will handle breaking the news to the rest of the staff and workers.

Just take care of yourself, Shane."

Jones deserves the title here. This is the start of a push for him, and he's the only "young guy" with momentum on the roster.

- Episode 1 -

Episode 1 of the USPW-Black era opens with James Justice in the ring welcoming the crowd in attendance. As Justice warmed the crowd another familiar face emerged from the entrance ramp; Peter Valentine moseyed his way down to the ring, microphone in hand, with something seemingly on the tip of his tongue. The look on Valentine's face was enough to let the crowd know that this was to be the start of the first feud of the USPW-Black era. Valentine and Justice went back and forth on the microphone, the vast majority of Valentine's time being spent attacking James Justice's right to challenge for title contention. "What have you done to earn it" snapped Valentine on more than one occasion during the argument, as Justice continued to fire back and play to the crowd. As more and more of the crowd began to support James Justice and jeer Peter Valentine, the latter made his way out of the ring, but not before he vowed to make sure James Justice did not win in his main event match this evening. (B-)

Tribal Warrior © defends his USPW Television Championship against Andre Jones, The Force & Petr Novak

In the first match of the night, Tribal Warrior was thrown into a tank full of sharks as he was forced to fend off a very hungry Andre Jones, an always dangerous Force, and a very large Petr Novak. In possibly one of the most impressive performances of his career, Andre Jones controlled the pace of the match for the vast majority of its duration, not just spending his time beating on the current champion, but making sure The Force & Novak would not be able to intervene as the match went on. Unfortunately, their lack of intervention would be his undoing. As Jones thought he had victory in his sights, The Force was slowly getting back to his feet. With Novak out of commission after being knocked off of the apron to the ground below, Jones saw the opportunity and went for the finish on Tribal Warrior. As he went in for the pin, Tribal Warrior was able to use his momentum to roll him up and as Andre Jones urged The Force to intervene, the beatdown Jones had previously subjected him too proved to be too much, and would result in Jones being pinned in a minor upset. (C-)

T-Rex defeats Darryl Devine

To put it simply, there's not much Darryl Devine was going to be able to do in the situation that was placed in front of him. T-Rex had his way with the youngster as he tossed Devine in and out of the ring as he pleased. There were glimmers of hope for Darryl as he showed signs of life in fighting back, but in the end it would just anger the massive T-Rex, who would put him away shortly after dragging him back into the ring for his finisher. (D+)

After T-Rex's savage beating of Darryl Devine, he exited the ring and made his way up the entrance ramp. As the episode went to commercial break, Atlas made his way down to the ring, passing by T-Rex; both men acknowledging each other's respective presence by nodding. Atlas made his way into the squared circle and began to beat Devine all over the place, almost as if he was finishing what T-Rex had left on his plate for him. T-Rex continued to walk up the ramp as this occurred, but stopped and watched for nearly a minute as the onslaught continued. As Atlas began to back away, T-Rex made his way backstage and Darryl Devine was evacuated from the arena. ©

The cameras make their way backstage as the episode returns from commercial break (as well as showing the television audience what took place during the break). We see James Justice walking through the backstage area greeting the other wrestlers. From behind we see a man walking towards Justice and bumping into him on purpose, revealing himself to be none other than Peter Valentine. After some back and forth, albeit much anger-fuelled than their earlier encounter, some light pushing and eventually some aggressive shoving results in many wrestlers and authority figures breaking up a near fight between the two men. Valentine slips in a boot to the side of James Justice's knee before the exchange is over, and the camera cuts to Justice's face to catch him holding in the excruciating pain. (C+)

Enygma defeats Jumbo Jackson

After a few backstage segments we finally get back to the wrestling action, as Enygma and Jumbo Jackson were quick to get to it as the opening bell sounded. After some tentative grappling, Jackson quickly tried to get the upper hand but was countered by the sheer wrestling knowledge that the fans had come to recognize Enygma for. As the match went on, a sluggish looking Jumbo Jackson dragged his feet around the ring, while Enygma on the other hand was just warming up. This would lead to the end of the match where Enygma would catch Jackson with a quick roll-up. Jackson kicked his way out, but in the time he spent getting back to his feet, he was in Enygma's crosshairs for his finisher. Enygma gets the three count and the victory. (C-)

Following the match, Jumbo Jackson was clearly very unhappy. As Enygma celebrated and fired up the crowd in attendance, Jackson was still getting to his feet. Once he finally managed to stand, he made his way over to Enygma, who had his back turned to him and was standing on the top ropes. Jackson booted him off of the top ropes and sent him flying to the ground below, Enygma's head just barely missing the security barricade. Jackson made his way down to where Enygma laid, and fed him a couple boots to the gut just to get the point across. Enygma stayed on the ground while commentator Brock Cornish made his way over to get between the two as Danny Jillefski continued to explain the situation to the TV audience. Jackson backed away from his victim as he moved towards the backstage area while Cornish continued to tend to Enygma's wounds. (B-)

Prior to his main event match this evening, Tyson Baine walks through the backstage area. As he makes his way towards the entrance to the stadium, he passes by Nicky Champion who is clutching the championship belt around his waist. Baine shoots him a glare, and Champion responds with the same smirk that all of his enemies have come face to face with at some point. Baine stops, lets out a small laugh at Champion's expense, and then continues on his way towards the ring. (B-)

Tyson Baine defeats James Justice

Had this match come earlier in the evening, it may have been a more competitive affair. Unfortunately, the series of events leading up to the main event would not spell out anything good for Justice. The stressful encounters with Peter Valentine culminating in an injured leg for the veteran meant that the likelihood of defeating Tyson Baine was slowly getting smaller and smaller. But this did not stop him from putting up a fight, sadly it would just not be as much of a fight as he'd hoped to have put up. Baine had him beat at every turn, and a much slower James Justice was nursing his leg and avoiding contact now. Baine finally put him away with a Hades Bomb and earned himself the title of number one contender. ©

Nicky Champion was already standing at the top of the entrance ramp before the bell had sounded to signify the end of the match, microphone in hand. After the bell had sounded and Tyson Baine had gotten to do a little bit of celebrating, he turned his attention towards the champion. Nicky barked at the man standing in the ring, letting him know that this wasn't anything to celebrate. Beating an already wounded man the way that Baine did, Nicky continued, was grounds for him to come down and kick Baine's ass right now. Baine welcomed him to with open arms, but Champion decided he would let Baine have his moment, and then take it away from him at Scars, Stripes & Slams at the end of the month. Baine and Champion simply looked at each other from opposite ends of the arena as the show faded to black. (B)

Nicky & Tyson was the only real feud that the audience was going to be able to get behind from the get-go, but neither of them performed particularly well last night. The only reason Tribal Warrior doesn't fit into this category is because I'm content to just have him defend his title on TV against newcomers until something opens up for him. But Java can't carry a feud and there's no point in putting the National championship on someone who can. Also, our tag division isn't particularly deep right now and the last thing I want to do is give the Towers of Power the belts right away. I want Mick to get some momentum on his own because Danny is clearly getting old and won't be able to work for much longer.

Running Wolf?

Running Wolf is auto pushing as a main eventer after 1 year in my USPW save and has excellent chemistry teaming with Nicky but tends to stink up the angles so hopefully after teaming with Nicky for a while he will do better in angles. I'm interested to see how you end up using him.

- Episode 2 -

Episode 2 begins with Nicky Champion in the ring, addressing not only the events of last week's American Wrestling, but also his upcoming title challenger, Tyson Baine. Almost as if he was listening in, upon hearing his own name Tyson Baine marches his way down the entrance ramp and makes his way into the ring. Few words are actually said by the big man, mostly just grunts & angry breathing to respond to Nicky's speech. In the end, it is revealed that Nicky Champion will be competing in a non-title match-up this evening, as Baine has spoken about it with Phil Vibert. Vibert makes his way out to the entrance ramp and announces Champion's opponent as Krusher Karloff. Nicky pounds his fists together and shrugs Baine and his negative remarks off as he makes his way up the ramp and back to the backstage area. (B)

T-Rex defeats Running Wolf

In the first match of the night, T-Rex did what was expected. A very excited and confident Running Wolf came down to the ring, but that was about as much as there was to compliment other than has perseverance. T-Rex lifted, threw, flipped and tossed Running Wolf all around the ring, and would eventually put him away in yet another dominant performance. (D-)

Before the closing bell even rung, Atlas was already standing atop the entrance ramp, just waiting for T-Rex to finish off his opponent so he could move in for the kill. As the referee signalled the end of the match, Atlas began to move in towards the ring. Waiting on the apron for T-Rex to exit the ring, Atlas watched as Running Wolf struggled back to his feet. T-Rex looked briefly at Atlas and then back at Running Wolf before turning his back on both men and staring off in the distance. As he turned around, Atlas moved through the ropes and began to savagely beat on Running Wolf. As the rookie tried to escape the ring, Atlas pulled him back in and finally ended the assault with a flurry of stomps before looking up at T-Rex. Still looking away, T-Rex did not acknowledge the beating that had just taken place; instead he chose to just ignore it. Atlas now turned his back on both T-Rex and Running Wolf, and the announcers reveal that it's time for a commercial break and the screen fades. ©

As we return from commercial break, we see The Force walking backstage, shaking hands with fellow wrestlers and authority figures. As he passes by one of the dressing rooms, out bursts Andre Jones, who jumps the face-painted warrior and starts up a violent brawl between the two men. Eventually multiple other wrestlers jump in and try to break it up (although some were more interested in fighting than keeping the peace), and managed to separate the two men. Andre let out an angry, deep breath and walked away as The Force stayed where he was and discussed what just happened with the other wrestlers. (D+)

Tribal Warrior defends his USPW Television Championship against Charlie Thatcher

Tribal Warrior once again performed quite well in this championship encounter, and although Charlie Thatcher was able to put up a decent fight, it was no more than Tribal Warrior had taken on before, and the end of the match came rather quickly as the presence imposed by Java at ringside would leave Thatcher too intimidated to fight like he really wanted too. (D+)

Peter Valentine defeats Freddie Datsun

Peter Valentine is by no means a good wrestler, and as good as Freddie Datsun is, Peter Valentine is one heavy load to carry. Nonetheless, Valentine pulled off a hard-fought victory (although he didn't pick up the win without completely exhausting himself), and attempted to send a message to James Justice without words. Whether it was received is still unknown. (D)

James Justice and Chris Caulfield are seen talking to each other backstage. Both men are venting about the events that took place last week. We briefly hear Justice go on about Peter interfering in his opportunity for another World Championship before Chris Caulfield interrupts and rants about Jumbo Jackson savagely beating down Enygma. Caulfield continues about how good of a person Enygma is and how nobody, especially him, deserved a beating like that. The discussion ended with Justice trying to calm Caulfield down, but unfortunately, it looked like Caulfield's mind was still hell bent on vengeance. (C+)

Jumbo Jackson defeats Darryl Devine

Simply put, there wasn't much Devine could do this week either. With yet another tall task placed in front of him, it seemed like all Darryl Devine could do was step up to the plate and take one for the team. Jumbo Jackson tossed the youngster around the ring and beat on him like there was no tomorrow. Jumbo Jackson picked up the easy pin and it's possible he's never looked better. (D+)

However, as expected, Chris Caulfield hit the ring to interrupt Jackson's celebrations. Able to catch Jackson by surprise, Caulfield took the big man down at the legs and began to stomp away until Jackson was crawling on all fours and trying to escape the ring. Chris Caulfield obviously doesn't allow it, and continues to beat on him until the officials force him off. Jackson is too beat up to yell or even say anything, but it's very probable that Chris Caulfield will feel some sort of backlash for his actions tonight. (C+)

Nicky Champion defends his USPW World Championship against Krusher Karloff

Nicky Champion has time and time again proved the validity of his championship reign, and once again tonight, he dominated Krusher Karloff. After surviving Karloff's initial burst of strength, Champion technically and systematically picked apart Karloff's game and eventually wore down the now lumbering big man. Karloff would eventually fall so hard that his only escape was to make it out of the ring, but Champion would not allow it, electing to hit his Hawkeye Hammer and finish off the match. Champion yet again makes another successful defense of his World Championship. (C+)

Unfortunately, it was easy enough to tell what was going to happen next. Tyson Baine hit the ring and he and Nicky Champion would go back and forth with punches while the referee tried to separate the two. To Champion's credit, although he would eventually be beat down by a much fresher Tyson Baine, any other man would not have even been able to put up a fight after defending their World Championship, let alone threaten to seriously hurt the initiator. Baine stood over Champion as this week's episode of American Wrestling came to a close, as Danny Jillefski signed off on behalf of the backstage staff & announcers. (B)
