What this means is that the wrestler who comes home with this coveted prize will represent the Confederation of the Territories as the best wrestler they have to offer. This comes with the bragging rights, recognition and the right to call themselves the best. The first stage of the tournament will be tag-team matches. The qualifying wrestlers have been randomly paired together and the winning teams will be split and face off against each other in the quarter-finals. From there on it will be a standard single elimination tournament up until the finals, where we will crown the first ever COTT World Heavyweight Champion.
