BURNING HAMMER ARE TRUMPS!

Welcome to the new Tigerkinney Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods TEW diary project. The data I am using is a slightly modified version version of the default Cornellverse data (the modification primarily being based around the promotions title history).

The diary will be a bit more economical than my previous efforts , cut down previews/ less prediction (though still free to predict for the major shows). I'm mainly doing this diary because I still enjoy dipping my toe into the TEW diary process- and if I can keep this going for a while and people enjoy what I present along the way then that will be a bonus.

BHOTWG Xmas Party 2013

It was December 22nd of 2013, and Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods were holding their annual christmas party for staff and workers. This years outing was the Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku. Which was an 'experience', though most of the Burning Hammer 'family' seemed to enjoy the outing, except for the rookie wrestler Ieyoshi Shimakage who ended up getting knocked out by a man dressed up as a hulked up robot with a rainbow coloured afro and then promptly ejected from the Robot Restaurant for attempting to cop a feel of one of the show's female performers.

http://media.tumblr.com/354bad4629b3ddec14ad1b351f387f8c/tumblr_inline_n0rhl6CRJk1rjmsbs.png

Shimakage got knocked out by this?!

Whilst the Robot Restaurant's show may have been at the very least interesting, the food was terrible, so everyone ended up heading for a nearby Izakaya to get something proper to eat. As is always the case whenever we visit these kind of places, everyone ended up having too much to drink.....

Tasuku Iesada the man who runs the book for Burning Hammer, blurted out that he had now tired of doing the role and that he wanted to just concentrate on his wrestling. Iesada's friend and the man who insisted Iesada-san take on the role of head booker Tadiyuki Kikkawa commented that this was the first he heard of this and that Iesada-san is only say this because he had a little too much to drink and that he will forget about this the next morning.

Iesada-san admitted he was a little drunk, but that his current intoxicated state had given him the courage, to speak up about how he really feels. He told Kikkawa-san that he is not ungrateful for the role he had been given and that he enjoyed his time spent as head booker but it was time for him put his wrestling career first and it was time he handed over the reigns to someone else. Iesada-san mentioned that he had been unselfish as a head booker, something many around the table agreed with.

Kikkawa-san now accepting the fact that his friend Iesada-san was serious, disappeared for a while before returning from where had been, to ask Iesada-san's suggestion about who he feels could replace him. Iesada-san felt it would be a good decision to give it to someone who had been involved with Burning Hammer for a while, but wasn't one of the 'boys'.

That's when he looked over at me, and said

' In all honesty I think Muro-san could be a good candidate, he's been with us a while now and he from his position at the announce table he see's things from a fans perspective'

Kikkawa-san, agreed that Iesada-san's suggestion was an interesting and slightly brave one, and that their Burning Hammer wasn't about living on past glories but about looking towards the future.....

I thought they had to be joking right, I thought they would forget about talking me up as taking over the position of head booker the next morning and that once the effects of the copious amounts of beer and sake everyone consumed had worn off that they would surely consider a more qualified candidate to fill Iesada-san's shoes.

As it turns out though, they were being utterly serious, as I got a call the next morning to attend a meeting with Kikkawa-san, Iesada-san and the promotions owner Tetsuzan Kaneko, to discuss what they called an 'opportunity for promotion'.

Muronic Moment #2:

Getting a Rise

December 2013

Even though I was summoned to the head offices of Burning Hammer, I still didn't truly believe that the men who had the power, those being Kaneko-San, Kikkawa-san and the supposedly soon to be departing head booker position Iesada-san.

A plaintive looking Kikkawa-san starting proceedings 'I must admit I was a little saddened by Iesada-san's decision to step down from the position of head booker, as he was doing an excellent job- but I respect and understand his decision'

Not that I wanted to show these guys disrespect or anything, but I just wanted them to get to the point, the point being why in the hell did they choose me to effectively decide the fates of the wrestlers in Burning Hammer

Iesada san saw that I was about to ask that very question 'Why not you, Muro-san, you know the promotion well having announced matches for us, for over a decade now and unlike any of us in-ring performers you don't have any personal bias and when it comes to dealing with backstage politics, you'll be able to see things from a fresh perspective.'

No personal bias, fresh perspective?! It was as though they were making up a load of BS to convince themselves I was the right candidate for the job. In all honesty I think I was probably most likely being set up as some stopgap placeholder appointment, because Iesada san's resignation from the position was somewhat out of the blue.

Kaneko-san confirmed those suspicions as such, when he quipped 'I will warn you though, that if we do not see things to our satisfaction, we will see fit to remove you from the position as soon as possible'

I hadn't even accepted the vacant position of head booker, and the owner was already threatening me with performance targets. But just as I was about to politely decline their offer, and then wait for them to practically blackmail me into the position by threatening to fire me from the position I already had at Burning Hammer as an announcer, I was somewhat distracted.....

Despite being an employee of Burning Hammer, I had never once before been invited into the personal offices of Kaneko-san, and there was always a rumour circulating that Kaneko-san's secretaries were there to 'pleasure' Kaneko-san rather than to assist him.

Chiriro-Chan: Assets for Employment

Dressed in a maid outfit, adorned with cat ears, I couldn't help but notice Chihiro-chan's (as Kikkawa-san greeted her, as she served us all a round of expensive Japanese whisky),considerable assets lay in front of my face.

'I can't help but notice that your nose is bleeding', commented Kikkawa-san, as Chihiro-chan tottered out of the room. Considering that my temperature had just risen into the stratosphere from the cosplay gravure idol employed as a secretary, I wasn't surprised that my nostrils happened to erupt.

Then it dawned on me, that a happily married man like Iesada-san wasn't giving up the position so that he could concentrate on just being a wrestler again, he just didn't want to be tempted by constant 'distractions' like the ample assets of Chihiro-san. And apparently the rumours have it that she is not the only one floating around 'Kaneko Towers'....

Perhaps now slightly inebriated from the whisky and still giddy from the site of Chihiro-chan, I forgot about the absurdity of being offered the head booker position, and accepted their offer- after all being a single man, I was going to try and enjoy the benefits of interacting with Kaneko-san's 'secretaries'.

Another meeting at the Burning Hammer head office in Tokyo and I'm handed these folders by Kaneko-san's 'secretary' Chihiro-Chan. Obviously these documents were very important, and I had to avert my eyes away from Chihiro-Chan's considerable assets.

Apparently these documents, were Roster Dossiers put together by the legendary Junior Heavyweight Wrestler and the current head road agent of BHOTWG Optimus. So I'm guessing that it was imperative that I would give these a look over, rather than placing my gaze elsewhere.

Roster Dossier #1

American Optimus (Dark Legacy)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/BlackEagle_Hasami_zpse765cbe2.jpg

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun/ American-Panther

Hometown: Paterson, New Jersey, USA (Billed from: Brooklyn, New York, USA)

Age: 39/ Height: 5ft10, Weight: 208 Ibs

Finishers: Atomic O-Bomb (Superbomb), O-Bomb (Running Power Bomb), Optimizer (Cross Armed Surfboard), Ozone Sky Flyer (Shooting Star Press)

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, Fisherman Buster, Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Frankensteiner, Frog Splash, Senton Bomb, Moonsault, Tope Con Hilo/Suicida, Rolling Wheel Kick, Palm Thrust, Surfboard

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (2 Times, Current w/ Red Panther)

Personal Fact: American Optimus says that when he dated the American female wrestler Raven Nightfall (now better known as Raven Robinson in USPW), he used to fantasize about inviting fellow female wrestler Joanne Rodriguez to participate in a three way with himself and Raven. Sadly this match-up, never happened and this may actually be the real cause of the couples break up, not the fact that the man then known as Black Eagle moved to Japan.

In Their Words: I toiled away for years on the American Indies, and when I got my chance to come to Japan, I saw my opportunity to grab some spotlight. I grabbed one of their greatest legacies, took it for myself and made it better.

Optimus;Notes: I don't think the American Optimus idea has taken off as well, as management would have hoped. It's gone OK, but it's not gone great. The problem is that the fans just don't buy into it all that much, unlike the various Elementals that come off as a legacy, this comes across as a knock-off. Well at least it looks that way to me. Don't get me wrong the fellow behind the mask is a good, solid junior heavyweight, he just doesn't quite have what it takes to follow in my footsteps, but in all honesty anyone would have a hard time doing so.

Atsumori Takemura (New Boy)

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/Burning%20Hammer/AtsumoriTakemura.jpg

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Koriyama, Fukushima, Tohoku

Age: 23/ Height: 6ft3, Weight: 248 Ibs

Finishers: Down To Earth (Twisting Brainbuster)

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, Fisherman Suplex, German Suplex, Swinging Side Slam, Fallaway Slam, Leaping Shoulder Block, Back Hand Chop, Running Big Boot, Plancha.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: There are rumours that Takemura was allowed to skip Hinote Dojo and go straight on to the main Burning Hammer roster, because he offered to be Hiroaki Nakasawa's personal butler, even going as far as pressing the button on the toilet that lets out the jet-stream of water that washes a person's derriere.

In Their Words: Nakasawa-san saw great potential in me, I feel privileged and hope to repay the faith he has shown and perhaps one day I will surpass my mentor and carve out my own legacy. That is the dream, and I will work super hard to make that dream come true.

Optimus;Notes: This kid is as keen as a tube of wasabi paste, he's willing to do anything to stay in the good books of management and the locker room leaders. Kissing backsides will only get you so far though and you actually need talent to really get somewhere in this business but you know what the kid actually does have potential and that combined with his hard work ethic, may actually see him go places.

Barei Yasujiro (Mighty Mouse)

http://i164.photobucket.com/albums/u14/MACW07/WLW/BaireiYasujiro.jpg

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Hakodate, Hokkaido

Age: 43 / Height: 5ft9, Weight: 189 Ibs

Finishers: Yasujiro Suplex (Wheelbarrow Suplex), Mighty Mouse Whirlwind (Sky Twister Press)- Rarely Used

Signature Moves: Diving/Sitout Facebuster, High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, Superplex, Diving Cross Body, Diving Leg Drop, Moonsault, Tornado DDT, Slingshot Legdrop, Hurricanrana, Reverse Hurricanrana, Backflip Kick, Tiger Feint Kick, Octopus Hold, Tiger Feint Crucifix Arm Bar.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (1 Time, w/ Elemental II)

Personal Fact: After getting a taste for refried beans, when he lived in Mexico for a few years, Barei Yasujiro's favourite snack is refried beans on toast.

In Their Words: I'd be foolish to think that my best days aren't behind me, I can't fly around as much as I used to and the focus, rightly so is on the new generation of Juniors but I feel I can still give invaluable experience to the Junior Division here in Burning Hammer. All I ask for these days is to be treated with dignity and respect and if you give me that, I'll still give you the best that I still can.

Optimus;Notes: Yasujiro-san is clearly not the worker he once was, just like I had to later in my in-ring career, I had to cut down the high flying stuff and switch to a more conservative style because my body just couldn't take it anymore. Thankfully, Yasujiro-san is a good hand to have around and he realises the limitations that have beset him in his advancing years and you won't have any problems with him trying to keep his position at the expense of enhancing the fresh talent that has come on to the Junior Heavyweight scene in recent years.

Affiliation: Raging Bulls

Hometown: Chiba, Chiba, Kanto

Age: 42 / Height: 6ft/Weight: 237 Ibs

Finishers: Explosion Kick (Running Bicyle Kick), Sunabozu (Spinning Wrist Clutch Exploder Suplex), Winchester 1897 (Single Underhook DDT Brainbuster)

Signature Moves: Diving Knee Drop, Running Elbow Smash, Headbutt, High Knee Lift, Yakuza Kick into the Corner, Backbreaker, Russian Legsweep, Snap DDT, Exploder Suplex, German Suplex.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Tag Team (7 Times, current, w/Eiji Hamacho), Burning Openweight (1 Time), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Eiji Hamacho)

Personal Fact: Chuichi Sanda comes from a family of fishermen, and he could have been a world class fisherman himself, but in the end his idol's were Master Kitozan, Yoshinaka Toshusai and Dayu Ichihara and not Captain Birdseye.

In Their Words: Those so called 'smart' fans can label me 'just a tag guy' all they like, but I know where my the seaweed wrapping is on my onigiri and I know that being 'just a tag guy', has managed to pay the bills for me year on year. Would I love to be a single star at some point? I'd be lying if I were to say no but if I keep being handed tag title reigns alongside good old Eiji then why should I complain?

Optimus;Notes: In all honesty I don't think that Sanda-san is ever going to shake off that stigma of being a midcard tag specialist, he's a solid hand and his chemistry with Hamacho-san is second to none but he's not someone that will ever jump out as you as a star. If he's got any sense he will continue to accept his position, instead of trying to chase a singles career that will only end up in failure.

Eiji Hamacho (Raging Bull)

http://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u566/Jaded2013/EijiHamacho.jpg

Affiliation: Raging Bulls

Hometown: Suginami, Tokyo, Kanto

Age: 45 / Height: 6ft3 /Weight: 252 Ibs

Finishers: Hamacho Sledge (Death Valley Driver), Hamacho Sledge 2K (Side Death Valley Driver), Macho-Lariat (Lariat)

Signature Moves: Running Corner Clothesline, Running Hip Attack,Uranage, Samoan Driver, Firemans Carry Backbreaker, Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex, German Suplex, Spear, Powerbomb.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Tag Team (9 Times, 2 Times w/ Tadiyuki Kikkawa, 7 Times, current, w/Chuichi Sanda), Burning Imperial (1 Time), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Chuichi Sanda)

Personal Fact: Eiji Hamacho once helped develop and launch a range of daikon radish flavoured energy drinks and bars, called predictably enough Raging Bull- but for some reason the product range never took off.

In Their Words: I'm a five time World Tag Team Champion here in Burning Hammer, nothing to be scoffed at but I still have hope in my heart that I can one day be given a chance to be world champion, I may be 45 years old now but I feel as good as ever and in my eyes it will never be too late. I had a good run with the Imperial Championship late 2012 and proved that I can be as good a singles wrestler as anyone, but I suppose management will always feel that I have more to offer the tag ranks.

Optimus;Notes: I will say in the case of Hamacho-san, that perhaps he had a bit more potential to have had a more sustained singles run in his career, but in all honesty I think even he would accept that he never quite had the star power of a Kikkawa-san or a Nakasawa-san during his quarter of a decades service to Burning Hammer, and that's why his legacy has ended up being one of a tag team specialist.

Elemental III (Universal Hero)

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e148/razorsedge69907/BHOTWG/ElementalIII.jpg

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Kanazawa, Ishikawa, Chubu

Age: 26 / Height: 5ft9/Weight: 188 Ibs

Finishers: Earth Breaker (Double Underhook Powerbomb), Inferno Splash (Phoenix Splash), Elemental Suplex (Bridging Double Arm Suplex)

Signature Moves: German Suplex, Crossface Chickenwing Suplex, Diving Headbutt, Moonsault, Roundhouse Kick, Tiger Feint Kick, Elemental Space Drop (No Hands Somersault Plancha), Tope Suicida, Diving Crossbody Splash, Crossface Chickenwing,Tilt-A-Whirl Cross Arm Breaker

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Championship (2 Times), Burning Junior Tag Team (1 Time, w/Marihito Masuko), BHOTWG- Best of the Super Juniors (2 Times), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Kinnojo Horri)

Personal Fact: There are rumours that if Elemental III wasn't a wrestler, that he would be a socially inept hikikomori and that he is actually forced to live with a handler 24-7 to prevent him from slipping into a permanent state of anti-social solitude.

In Their Words: I really don't know why they chose me to take on such a revered legacy as that of Elemental, I don't think I'm really all that good and I'm sorry, extremely sorry for sullying the legacy with my continued mediocrity but for some reasons the powers that be seem fit to show faith in me, even the fans cheer my name. I really don't know why! I feel sorry, so very sorry that they have to feel obliged to cheer for me. Were I not wearing this mask, would they still cheer for me?

Optimus;Notes: Young Elemental III, is a strange fellow, he's got crippling anxieties and he can barely function in real life, but as soon as the bell rings he is able to turn it on and he's proving to be a worthy successor to my old junior division rivals Elemental's ichi and ni. I think if he just had a little more faith in himself, he could (and I put the emphasis on could, rather than should) have the potential to one day surpass his mentors.

Golden Scorpion (The Gold and Black Attack)

http://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u566/Jaded2013/GoldenScorpion.jpg

Affiliation: Yokai Kingdom

Hometown: Kurashiki, Okayama, Chugoku

Age: 37 / Height: 5ft11/Weight: 207 Ibs

Finishers: Scorpion Stinger (Vertebreaker), Kuromonogatari (Gory Special dropped into a Piledriver), Kiniromonogatari (Argentine Backbreaker rack dropped into a Piledriver), Hitagi Crab (Cross Legged Boston Crab)

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, Dragon Suplex, Turnbuckle Powerbomb, Rolling Wheel Kick, Curb Stomp, Slingshot Legdrop, Tope Suicida, STF, Gory Special, Headscissors Arm Bar, Bow and Arrow Hold, Ankle Lock.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (3 Times, w/ The Awesome Kiyaru)

Personal Fact: In highschool Golden Scorpion was actually more interested in developing robots and placing them in competitions to do battle with one another but apparently his hobby irritated his carpenter father and that he had to go to these competitions in disguise , and it was actually at these 'Robot Wars' where the man who would come to be known as Golden Scorpion, developed the character the 'Gold and Black Attack'. Years later and his new 'hobby' still irritates his carpenter father, but Scorpion couldn't care less.

In Their Words: My time as a major player in the Burning Junior Division is not over by a long stretch, many think that my time has passed, but I'll prove all the nay-sayers wrong and finally grab the Junior Championship. I'll outshine everyone else so much, that management will have to finally sit up and take notice and put the title round my waist, because they know with me as Junior Champion, business will pick up . It's time for the Gold and Black Attack to take control!

Optimus;Notes: You've got to feel for Golden Scorpion, he's been the nearly man in the Junior Division for over a decade now. When he first came in he was obviously below myself, Elemental II, Super Joshuya and his regular tag partner in the pecking order, and when my generation were ready to pass the torch to the next, along comes Sensational Dragon, Masuko and Elemental number three.

Scorpion is still a solid hand, he always has been but I know he won't want to hear me say this, but his time to be 'The Man' in the Junior Division has past. Sure I won Junior Championships at around his age, but I had already built a strong legacy for myself.

Hachigoro Maeda (New Generation Fighter)

http://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u566/Jaded2013/HachigoroMaeda.jpg

Affiliation: Solid State

Hometown: Kobe, Hyogo, Kansai

Age: 30/ Height: 5ft9/Weight: 187 Ibs

Finishers: Beta Blocker (Forward Somersault Cutter), Motoko Complex (Half Nelson dropped into a Wheelbarrow Driver), Tachikoma Special (450 Splash)

Signature Moves: Corner Drop Kick, Missile Dropkick, Flying Spinning Heel Kick, Flying Neckbreaker, Springboard Facebuster, Diving Elbow Drop, High Velocity Suicide Dive, Frankensteiner, Rolling Cutter, Brainbuster, German Suplex, Dragon Suplex, Elemental Suplex, Figure Four Leglock.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (1 Time, w/ Haru Kurofuji)

Personal Fact: Despite having the gimmick of Cyber Fighter 3000, whilst in WLW Hachigoro Maeda actually really hate's science fiction and much prefers the romantic comedy genre.

In Their Words: Screw WLW and their stupid Cyber Fighter gimmick. Who is a big star now?Who is wrestling in the Big Leagues? Oh that's right me, yours truly, Hachigoro-Maeda. I'm already a Junior Tag champion, and I'm going to go and win many more titles in a real wrestling company, that fans actually care about- because no one is going to treat Hachigoro Maeda like a joke anymore!

Optimus;Notes: Maeda -san's been with Burning Hammer for about three years now, and whilst he's been a solid pick up to add depth to the Junior Division, he's not exactly set the world on fire. When you're competing against the likes of Sensational Dragon and Marihito Masuko, you have to be something special and as much as he's a good kid and a decent performer, Maeda-san is nothing special. That being said he still has time to prove everyone including myself wrong on that assessment but he needs to start stepping up real soon.

Haru Kurofuji (Kamikaze)

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/HaruKurofuji-1.jpg

Affiliation: Solid State

Hometown: Oita, Oita, Kyushu

Age: 38 / Height: 5ft8/Weight: 191 Ibs

Finishers: Kurofuji Crab (Elevated Boston Crab), HaruKari (Suicide Diving Headbutt)

Signature Moves: German Suplex, Belly to Back Suplex, Tornado DDT, Tilt-A-Whirl DDT, Reverse STO, Russian Legsweep, Diving Knee Drop, Falling Headbutt, Diving Crossbody Splash, Suicide Dive, Single Leg Boston Crab.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (1 Time, w/ Hachigoro Maeda)

Personal Fact: Haru Kurofuji's favourite place to eat, is the world famous crab restaurant Kani-Doraku at Dotonbori in Osaka. He says that anyone who thinks crab is too hard to eat, is an ignorant moron, that clearly doesn't have the patience to appreciate a quality ingredient, and that working to get that quality ingredient out makes it all that more satisfying.

In Their Words: I will always feel grateful for World Level giving me my break. I made my name there and I hope that promotion has continued success. I also welcome the formation of Exodus 2010 in recent years, there are now plenty of places in Japan where Junior Heavyweight wrestlers like myself can ply their trade and be appreciated for our efforts, but the Burning Hammer Junior Division and becoming Burning Junior Champion is the ultimate goal for every Junior Heavyweight in Japan, at least it always was to me.

I've yet to become Burning Junior Champion since I took the decision to follow my dream and I can understand why people question my decision to leave a prominent position with World Level. But as much as I miss the guys at World Level and the main event spotlight I had on me there, I feel it's been a privilege to work for the greatest wrestling promotion in all of Japan.

Optimus;Notes: Did Kurofuji-san come here to Burning Hammer for the money? Well it certainly would have helped in forming his decision to jump ship from a more prominent position in WLW, but despite knowing full well what his position would be when he came here, he's worked hard and been a solid hand during his tenure with us. I would be surprised if a veteran like Kurofuji-san actually thought he was coming here to be a star player, rather than a supporting hand and he certainly hasn't shown any signs of being angry or disappointment with the way things have turned out.

Heiachiro Sakai (Silver Service)

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/Burning%20Hammer/HeihachiroSakai.jpg

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Kita, Tokyo, Kanto

Age: 28 / Height: 6ft 1 /Weight: 236 Ibs

Finishers: Sakai Suplex (Straight Jacket Suplex), Shutter Speed (Sliding Lariat), STF, Kitoaji Armbar

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, German Suplex, Northern Lights Suplex, Elemental Suplex, Kudo Lock (Muta Lock), Surfboard, STO, STO Backbreaker, Lifting DDT, Legsweep DDT, Sitout Powerbomb, Lariat, Yakuza Kick.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: Apparently Heiachiro Sakai is such a generous human being, that he gives ninety nine per cent of his earnings from wrestling to charity, and that he is content to call a two tatami mat room at a Zen- Buddhist temple on the outskirts of Tokyo home.

In Their Words: I believe I have what it takes to become a major player here in Burning Hammer. I'm at that age now, where I need to be stepping up and making the management take notice, make them think 'this Sakai-san, he's a main eventer in the making'. I know I have what it takes to main event Burning Hammer shows and carry gold around my waist, it's time for everyone else to believe in the me that believes in me.

Optimus;Notes: Sakai-san is a super nice guy so you won't have any problems with him, plus he's a pretty damn solid wrestler to boot with sound fundamentals and stellar technical skills. However the jury is out on whether or not he will amount to anything more than a midcard solid hand. In some ways his easy going nature way well work against him, because less talented individuals than him have forced their way to a more prominent position by being more demanding.

Roster Dossier #2

Hiroaki Nakasawa (Mr H-Bomb/The Post Millenium Icon)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/HiroakiNakasawa_Hasami_zps1f9622cc.jpg?227

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun

Hometown: Yokohama, Kanagawa, Kanto

Age: 36 / Height: 6ft 3 /Weight: 248 Ibs

Finishers: H-Bomb (Elevated Sitout Powerbomb), Super H-Bomb (Superbomb), Sudden Impact Lariat (Wrist Lock Short Arm Lariat)

Signature Moves: Compression Powerbomb (Folding Powerbomb Pin), H-Sault (Moonsault), Diving Elbow Drop, Nakasawa Neckbreaker (Firemans Carry Neckbreaker), Half Nelson Suplex, Dragon Suplex, Superplex, Backdrop Suplex, Missile Dropkick, Rope Hung Neckbreaker, Firemans Carry Neckbreaker, Slingshot Crossbody, Arm Trap Inverted Facelock, Crossface.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Championship (4 Times, Current), Burning Openweight (1 Time), BHOTWG Super Grade Cup (3 Times), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Sensational Dragon), INSPIRE King of Fighters (1 Time- Unified with Burning World Championship)

Personal Fact: Since becoming one of the biggest stars for Burning Hammer, Hiroaki Nakasawa has personally endorsed Kamaboko (Fish Sausage) by regularly being the guest of honour at the Kamaboko Day event on the 15th of November.

In Their Words: When old man Kikkawa and his sycophantic chronies Okazaki and Iesada cried off to form the failure that was INSPIRE, who did the powers that be at Burning Hammer Towers decide to turn to, decide who would be the one to carry the torch? Well they turned to me of course. Now Kikkawa and his derriere servicers are back, they want to grab back the spotlight, but I'm too good to have the spotlight taken away from me. Kikkawa is old news, and don't get me started on Horri ! I am the biggest star in Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods and anyone who does not believe that is a delirious and misguided fool.

Optimus;Notes: One cannot complain about the push Nakasawa-san has had towards the top of Burning Hammer since he begun his breakthrough about a decade ago now. He is as you would say the 'Total Package' . He's primarily a puroresu style brawler (Lots of Lariats and Suplexes) but he's got sound mat skills and he can even take to the air a little too for a man of his size. He's also convincing as either a fighting champ babyface or as an arrogant heel (the role he currently finds himself in, as the leader of our hot new heel faction Hasami-Gun).

Hirokumi Saito (Iron Knee)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/HirokumiSaito_INSPIRE_zps513e57ee.jpg?886

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE

Hometown: Maebashi, Gunma, Kanto

Age: 38 / Height: 6ft /Weight: 234 Ibs

Finishers: Cross Arm Suplex, Saito Flasher (High Standing Knee Strike)

Signature Moves: Sleeper Hold, German Suplex, Brainbuster, Spinebuster, Powerbomb, Running Knee Strike , Running Knee Lift, Flying Knee Strike, Knee Drop, STO, Uranage, Charging Fore Arm Smash

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: Every morning Hirokumi Saito does at least one thousand knee strike reps....and if time is running short, he will do knee strike reps whilst making breakfast, whilst having a shower and whilst brushing his teeth.

In Their Words: Do you know what the knee is good for? Driving it into someone's face! Smashing someone's face with your knee is so much fun, it's kind of life affirming really. So being paid to smash my knee into someone else's face on a regular basis, gives me great pleasure. I honestly don't care about anything else, just going out into that ring and using my knee the way it was intended to be used, that's all I ever need from life.

Optimus;Notes: Saito-san has only just recently come into Burning Hammer, though given his INSPIRE connections I was surprised he was not brought in earlier by Kikkawa-san and Iesada-san. He has something of a surly, why has it not quite happened for me yet attitude but he's a solid wrestler who connects well with the crowd and it's understandable why he feels a little bit bitter about it taking him so long for him to catch a real break in this business.

Hyosuke Kokan (The Electric Live Wire)

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e148/razorsedge69907/BHOTWG/HyosukeKokan.jpg

Affiliation: Size of the Fight

Hometown: Joetsu, Niigata, Chubu

Age: 36 / Height: 5ft 7 /Weight: 172 Ibs

Finishers: Electric Shocker Clutch (Koji Clutch), Red Lightning Bomb (Spin Out Powerbomb), Shinkiro (High Angle Senton Bomb)

Signature Moves: Spinning Headscissors Takedown into an Octopus Stretch or a Crucifix Pin , Spin Out Sleeper Slam, Missile Drop-Kick, Moonsault, Tope Con Hilo, Slingshot/Springboard Senton Splash, Snap Suplex, Elemental Suplex, Sunset Flip Powerbomb.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (4 Times, w/ Hyosuke Kokan)

Personal Fact: The reason that Hyosuke Kokan wears a mask, is not because he wants to hide his face, but it's because it acts as barrier to stop him from conducting electricity through his body, due to a metal plate in the top of his head, that was put in place after being operated on following a cycling accident that he had when was just nine years old.

In Their Words: Yeah that's right I'm small, but does being small mean you can't make an impact in the wrestling ring, I am a two time Junior Tag champion after all...OK, OK the last of those title reigns was erm......two...no...maybe I'm being a bit optimistic here?.....

WHAT?!....nearly five years ago!! Oh I'm sure there must be good reason for it, and I've not just been toiling around aimlessly for nearly half a decade. My time will come again, just got to keep positive, just got to keep P.O.S.I.T.I.V.E !!

Optimus;Notes: Kokan-san is the Junior Division equivalent of what Sanda-san is to the heavyweight ranks, a solid hand who has had a good career as a tag specialist and it seems unlikely that position is ever going to change.

Ieyoshi Shimikage (Your Mother's Worst Nightmare)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/IeyoshiShimakage_Hasami_zpsd8a2ef5c.jpg?880

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun

Hometown: Numazu, Shizuoka, Chubu

Age: 25/ Height: 5ft 11 /Weight: 232 Ibs

Finishers: Atama-Sakakiri (Package Piledriver), Ketsunoana Driver (Over the Shoulder Belly to Back Piledriver)

Signature Moves: Olympic Slam, Death Valley Driver, Fireman's Carry Cutter, Gutbuster, High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, German Suplex, Lariat, Corner Clothesline, Diving Knee Drop, Running Senton, Illegal Closed Fist Punch.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: Ieyoshi Shimikage was such a notorious delinquent that he got expelled from twelve different elementary schools, nine different junior high schools and six different high schools across Shizuoka prefecture.

In Their Words: I'm the kid who'd steal lunch money from all those otakus with their pathetic hobbies at school. Manga Club? Photography Club? Robot Club? who the **** cares, what a bunch of dweebz! I'm the dude who'd screw your precious little daughters, whilst all the lame ass otakus were just jerking off in their mother's basement, cos dreamin' about doin' it is as close as they ever gonna get.

Now fate has seen fit, to deal me another ace in my already amazeballs life, cos I'm gettin' lotsa wonga to beat the crap outta other nerds and the wonga I get from that, gets all the hot ladeez around town to worship 'The Little General' ...SUCK ON THAT DWEEBZ!

Optimus;Notes: I'm at odds as to why we hired this jerk. I'll give it that his fundamentals as a wrestler are solid enough, but that does not excuse the fact that this tool is a giant pain in the backside. Still I'm not the one in charge here, and obviously the higher up's see something in him, I suppose at the very least he doesn't have to put any effort into getting the fans to hate him.

Kansuke Konda (Big Fight Playa)

http://s137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_KansukeKonda.jpg

Affiliation: Size of the Fight

Hometown: Shibuya, Tokyo, Kanto

Age: 38/ Height: 5ft 9 /Weight: 205 Ibs

Finishers: Konda Driver (Fireman's Carry Powerbomb), Thunder Driver (Dangan Bomb), Konda Kutter (Ace Crusher- often from top rope or springboarding), K-Fly (Frog Splash)

Signature Moves: Lariat, STF, Diving Double Stomp, Senton Splash, Exploder Suplex, German Suplex, Elemental Suplex, 'Earth Breaker' (Double Underhook Powerbomb), Sunset Flip, Sitout Spinebuster, Yakuza Kick, Tope Con Hilo/Suicida.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Openweight (2 Times), Burning Junior Tag Team (4 Times w/Hyosuke Kokan)

Personal Fact: Kansuke Konda played rugby in high school and was the teams scrum-half, but he was deemed too short to become a professional player, so he decided to turn his athletic talents elsewhere.

In Their Words: I truly believe in the mantra, that it's not the size of the dog, but the size of the fight in the dog, that gets you anywhere in life. No challenge is ever impossible, and if you get knocked down, you've just got to keep getting back up. I take that with me into the wrestling ring, and I take it with me out of the wrestling ring. Life is a battle, but you've got to fight to make it good. A life without struggle, is a life unfulfilled!

Optimus;Notes: As a Junior Heavyweight Konda-san isn't the flashiest of workers, which I think is why he feels more comfortable playing up his role as a feisty underdog agains the heavyweights...What he does have is a real feisty edge to his work that is able to connect with the fans. There's always that feeling Konda-san could have been a bigger star by this point, but whoever has had the book at Burning Hammer, haven't been quite sure what to do with him- so he's ended up bouncing between contending for the Openweight title and tagging with Kokan-san.

Kinnojo Horri (Burning Heart)

http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/jhd1/KinnojoHorri_jhd.jpg?893

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Hachinohe, Aomori, Tohoku

Age: 32/ Height: 6ft3/Weight: 259 Ibs

Finishers: Destiny Bomb (Gutwrench Powerbomb), Horri Bomb (Sitout Spinebuster) Hariken Hakai (High Angle Spinning Spinebuster), Destiny Lariat (Lariat)

Signature Moves: Gutwrench Suplex, Dragon Suplex, German Suplex, Delayed Vertical Suplex, Death Valley Driver, Gutbuster, Firemans Carry Backbreaker), Charging Corner Hip Attack, Rapid Fire Chops , Spear, Spinebuster.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Championship (3 Times), BHOTWG Super Grade Cup (2 Times), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Elemental III)

Personal Fact: Kinnojo Horri suffers from acute claustrophobia, resulting in him refusing to ride on packed morning trains or to avoid the Tokyo subway entirely.

In Their Words: Back in 2006 they hailed me as the successor to Kikkawa-san, but now Kikkawa-san is back can I truly be considered his successor. Though in all honesty, I'd rather not be thought of as anyone's successor, I'd like to think I would carve my own name, my own legacy into Burning Hammer's history....no scrub that even, wrestling's history as a whole...I don't want to just transcend Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods, I want to transcend Japan, no...I want to transcend the world., perhaps one day the entire Universe. When we are all living in space in the year 3000, and they look back at the history of wrestling, I hope one name stands above them all....KINNOJO HORRI!!

Optimus;Notes: Horri-san is a solid all round puroresu brawler, who is natural as a fiery heroic babyface. Whilst I do think that he has proven he has what it takes to belong in the main event, I'm not sure he would be as established as he is now, if the INSPIRE walkout never happened, whilst that situation hurt as a whole at the time, from a personal level Horri-san gained from it as he was able to jump from being on the fringes of the main event to being one of our key performers.

Marihito Masuko (Pink Wonder)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/MarihitoMasuko_PINK_zpscb889454.jpg?141

Affiliation: P.I.N.K

Hometown: Nikko, Tochigi, Kanto

Age: 31/ Height: 5ft6/Weight: 172 Ibs

Finishers: Masuko Cradle Shock (Swinging Leg Hook Fireman's Carry Slam), Masuko Cradle (Hammerlock Small Package), P.I.N.K Haze (Straight Jacket Triangle Choke)

Signature Moves: Missile Drop-Kick, Springboard Moonsault, Corkscrew Moonsault Press, Tornado DDT, Springboard Bulldog, Diving/Springboard Legdrop, Spinning Headscissors Takedown into a Crucifix Pin, Crucifix Bomb, Briding Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Elemental Suplex, Rope Hung Figure Four Necklock, P.I.N.K Mist (Pink Asian Mist)

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Championship (2 Times), Burning Junior Tag (1 Time, w/ Elemental III) BHOTWG Best of the Super Juniors (2 Times), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Tadakuni Toshusai)

Personal Fact: Marihito Masuko believes that he is so spiritually enlightened that he has begun his own sect of buddhism, known as the Pink Buddhists. However this sect of 'Buddhism' has not been taken at all seriously and has been branded as a cult by the Japanese government.

In Their Words: What are we here for, am I here to entertain or am I here to battle for a prize that only exists in the headspace of another? For what is this prize I am fighting for, What Do we fight for and are you fighting you, or am I fighting myself? Perhaps we fight for a reason to justify our very existence? We battle so so very hard, but does the end really justify the means, after all what is the real worth of leather and gold?

Optimus;Notes: People ask all the time if Masuko-san is really that weird and the truth happens to be that he is, his whole persona is not an act.....Masuko-san literally does live in another world! However as much of a cloudcuckoolander as he may be, Masuko-san is a talented performer who has earned his spot as one of our top Junior Division performer's through dedication and hard work. He's already one of most consistent performers and he's still striving to get better.

Masaaki Okazaki (Ruthless Bringer)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/MasaakiOkazaki_INSPIRE_zps3edf0594.jpg?477

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE/The Manipulators

Hometown: Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Kanto

Age: 43/ Height: 6ft/Weight: 234 Ibs

Finishers: Okazaki Special (Crossface/Scissored Arm Bar Combination), Kitoaji Armbar (Short Armbar), Century Crab Lift (Cross Legged Boston Crab), Okazaki Explosion (Wrist Clutch Exploder Suplex) , Okazaki Barrage (Three High Kicks followed by a Legweep and then a running shoot Kick to a seated or kneeling opponent)

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, Delayed Vertical Suplex, Exploder Suplex, Backdrop Suplex, German Suplex, Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex, High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, Roundhouse Kick, Yakuza Kick, Shining Wizard, STF, Sleeper Hold, Crossface.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Imperial (1 Time), Burning World Tag Team (1 Time, w/Tasuku Iesada), BHOTWG Super Grade Cup (1 Time), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Tasuku Iesada)

Personal Fact: Masaaki Okazaki is a keen amateur Shogi player of considerable talent. It is said that if Okazaki was not a professional wrestler, then he would be a professional Shogi Player, good enough to be a top ten ranked player.

In Their Words: Do I feel bitter about never being given the chance to be the Burning World Champion? Perhaps in my younger days, I would have felt a pang of irritation but I'm content with the way things are now. That does not mean that I am going to coast through the remainder of my wrestling career, I'm a born competitor after all. But I cannot in all honesty, complain that I have had a bad career in wrestling. To merely be in the shadow of someone as great as Kikkawa-san is nothing to be scoffed at, in all honesty I feel honoured that I have been able to step into the ring with so many great wrestlers over the years.

Optimus;Notes: Okazaki-san has never quite been able to shake off that stigma of being a nearly man, there perhaps has been no man in BHOTWG history who has had more title shots and then failed to convert them. I think when he won the Super Grade Cup in 2005 that was going to be the launchpad to going on to win the World Title but it's just never happened for him. Though if there is a candidate for someone who could win their first world title past their 40th Birthday it is Okazaki-san, as he is in as good condition as he ever was, in fact I believe he is even better shape than he was ten years ago.

Mitsunari Fuganaga (Serious Business)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/MitsunariFugunaga_INSPIRE_zps5b4b3a78.jpg?293

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE

Hometown: Kishiwada, Osaka, Kansai

Age: 34/ Height: 5ft11/Weight: 230 Ibs

Finishers: Fugu Karoshi (Rear Naked Choke), Fugu Sunappu (Inverted Figure Four Ankle Lock), Fugu Kowareta (Cross Arm Breaker), Hiza Noshinto (Running or Flying Knee Strike to the Face or Back of the head of an opponent).

Signature Moves: Backdrop Suplex, German Suplex, Running Corner Drop-Kick, Leg Hook STO, Reverse STO, Spike DDT, Running Knee to an opponent drapped across the top turnbuckle, Spinning Backfist, Ankle Lock, Sleeper Hold, Figure Four Leglock.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Openweight (2 Times, current)

Personal Fact: Mitsunari Fuganaga's father is a comedian with local celebrity status in the prefecture of Osaka, at first Fuganaga embraced his comedy heritage but now he is embarrassed by it and practically disowns his father, whose routine includes pulling a pair of stretchy pants out at the crotch and pretending that he has a two foot man snake residing in there.

In Their Words: Anyone who treats wrestling as a joke, needs to step into the ring with me, because I'll show them how serious wrestling really is, when I choke them out or snap their arm off or knock their head clean off with a flying knee to the face. I once treated wrestling as a joke, and if I were ever able to travel back in time and saw the old me, I'd knock that ignorant fool, spark out. You need to be ruthless, you need to be aggressive....to survive not just in the ring, but you need that ruthless aggression to survive in life.....no one, absolutely no one is going to stand in the way of Mitsunari Fuganaga!

Optimus;Notes: Fuganaga-san is a bit of a tetchy fellow, and he gets particularly displeased if you mention anything about his comedy wrestling past and/or his manzai comedian father- the one who does all the crude stuff with a stretchy pair of pants. Anyway despite his grouchiness, Fuganaga-san is a solid hand for the roster, that has not quite been able to break past the midcard ceiling yet. The main observational criticism of Fuganaga-san as a wrestler, and not as a person is that his MMA influenced style of working, leads to him coming off as something of a knock-off version of Masaaki Okazaki.

Miyamae (Bald Dragon)

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/NatsuMiyamae.jpg

Affiliation: The Rebellion

Hometown: Matsue, Shimane, Chugoku

Age: 42/ Height: 5ft10/Weight: 236 Ibs

Finishers: Miyamae Spoiler (Straight Jacket Crossface), Penguindrum (Twisting Sitout Suplex Slam), Nadare Penguindrum (Avalanche Falcon Arrow), Seizon Senryaku (Corner Springboard Gamengiri)

Signature Moves: Falcon Arrow, Brainbuster, Dragon Suplex, Superplex, Reverse STO, Diving Legdrop, Missile Drop Kick, Roundhouse Kick, Running Single Leg Drop Kick, Running High Knee into the Corner, Enzuigiri/Sprinboard Enzuigiri, Shining Wizard, Spinning Heel Kick, Ankle Hold, Seated Scissored Arm Bar, Dragon Sleeper.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Openweight (1 Time), Burning World Tag Team ( 3 Times, w/Shimedzu), Burning Junior Tag Team (3 Times, w/Shimedzu), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Shimedzu)

Personal Fact: Miyamae says that when he was a child, he was consistently told that he would never amount to anything but nearly 25 years of a succesful wrestling career later and Miyamae-san can successfully say that he has proved that prediction wrong.

In Their Words: Do you know what the first question is someone asks me? When did you go bald? Is the fact that I lack hair really so fascinating? Why do they not ask me about my prowess as a professional wrestler? Instead it's always when did you go bald....when I went bald is none of their business. Ask me about what I'm good at, not what I look like!

Optimus;Notes: Miyamae-san has always been a fine wrestler and I would go to say that in terms of in-ring ability he is one of best all round and most consistent workers, but he's just never quite had that intangible X-Factor to break out as a singles star. I think that brief flop of a Junior Championship run he had in the early 2000's may have continued to be marked against him having what it takes to be a strong singles star, though if it is that would be a bit harsh as it was many years ago and he was pushed too fast, too soon at that point in his career.

Roster Dossier #3

Murai Enomoto (No Gimmick Required)

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/Burning%20Hammer/MuraiEnomoto.jpg

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Shizuoka, Shizuoka, Chubu

Age: 27/ Height: 5ft9/Weight: 226 Ibs

Finishers: Naiha-Atama (Lifting Reverse DDT), Bakuhatsu-Atama (Lifting Single Underhook DDT), Figure Four Leglock, Crossface.

Signature Moves: Brainbuster, German Suplex,Belly to Back Suplex, Superplex, Russian Legsweep, Running Bulldog, Piledriver, Abdominal Stretch, Inverted Sleeper, Inverted DDT

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: There is nothing at all interesting to be said about Murai Enomoto, this is a man who just wrestles and then goes home to an extremely uneventful existence.

In Their Words: I like wrestling and I'm very grateful that I can wrestle in front of many people. It is a lot of fun and I like hearing the cheers from the fans.

Optimus;Notes: Enomoto-san is an unassuming fellow who just comes in and does his job, and does it well because this fellow never puts in a bad performance, whoever he's in the ring with. However he is completely devoid our any charisma or star quality and combined with his consistency and team player attitude, he is unfortunately for him ideal enhancement talent material. Still I suppose putting others over in Burning Hammer must be better than working for various sleazy indies up and down the country.

MYSTIC Dragon (Bright Warrior)

http://i1005.photobucket.com/albums/af173/ewanite/th_MysticDragon.jpg?t=1282745554

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Utsonomiya, Tochigi, Kanto

Age: 27/ Height: 5ft9/Weight: 193 Ibs

Finishers: Dragon Driver III (Inverted Facelock Lifted Scoop Slam Piledriver), Dragon Driver II (Sitout Scoopslam Piledriver), Mugen Supaku (Legtrap Sunset Flip Powerbomb)

Signature Moves: Twisting Brainbuster, Dragon Driver (Scoop Brainbuster), Earth Breaker (Double Underhook Powerbomb), Sunset Bomb, Hurricanrana, Springboard Moonsault, Corkscrew Plancha, No Hands Tope Suicida, Springboard Dropkick/ Leg Lariat, Tornado DDT, Shining Wizard, Superkick, Tilt-A-Whirl Cross Arm Breaker.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Championship (1 Time, current), BHOTWG Best of the Super Juniors (1 Time)

Personal Fact: Mystic Dragon mentions that when he was in college, that he would spend his time chasing the dragon, but these days he no longer chases the dragon, he is the dragon.

In Their Words: I'm not going to hide from the fact, that I made mistakes in the past, but I've worked hard to rectify those mistakes and I feel a sense of gratitude that my hard work is being rewarded. I'll be honest there was a time I couldn't deal with the pressure of being the son of the innovator of Junior Heavyweight wrestling, the great Elemental but I created Mystic Dragon to step out of the overwhelming shadow of his legacy and carve one for myself. Will I ever be judged to be the equal of my father? I very much doubt that, but I'm cool with that.

Optimus;Notes: It's well documented that Muragachi-kun found it difficult following in his esteemed fathers footsteps and that he ended up making some regrettable decisions in the past, but he's worked past those problems and I'm pleased the Burning Hammer family including myself had the patience to let him work past those problems. In all honesty Muragachi-kun had pretty much sorted himself out by the time he had got the call up to the main roster from Hinote and his hard work has been rewarded with his first Junior Championship run, that began in October.

Nisso Yuasha (The P.I.N.K Elephant/The Baby Elephant)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/NisshoYuasa_PINK2_zps6b6799d8.jpg

Affiliation: P.I.N.K

Hometown: Amagasaki, Hyogo, Kansai

Age: 33/ Height: 6ft 2/Weight: 294 Ibs

Finishers: Thunder Drop (Spinout Firemans Carry Facebuster), Ultimate Tsunami (Corner Big Splash from the second turnbuckle)

Signature Moves: Thunder Clap (Repeated Clubbing Forearms, finished with a Bellclap ), Argentine Backbreaker Rack, Bearhug, Charging Shoulder Tackle, Charging Hip Attack, Corner Splash, Butt Drop, Samoan Drop, Lariat, Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Openweight (2 Times), Burning World Tag Team (2 Times, 1 Time w/Kanishoki, 1 Time w/Tadakuni Toshusai)

Personal Fact: Nisso Yuasa is banned from all the public swimming pools in his hometown of Amagasaki, due to an incident where he broke a diving board and caused what was measured to be a mini Tsunami.

In Their Words: Why is it that people refer to me as the Baby Elephant? Do I have a trunk? No!, Do I have tusks, No!, Do I have big flappy ears? No! Is my skin Grey? No! I am nothing at all like a Baby Elephant! What I am is near 300 Ibs of destructive energy, that is going to stampede all over Japan and become the most dominant heavyweight wrestler of all time!

Optimus;Notes: I think there was hope amongst fans and the trainers also here at Burning Hammer that Nisso Yuasha would be a homegrown version of the legendary gaijin monster heel Dread, but that was always going to be a pipe dream because Dread for a man of his size was incredibly athletic, something that Yuasha-san has had to work extremely hard for to get to even a quarter of Dread's ability. Ridiculous comparisons aside, Yuasha-san has to his credit improved all round as a performer and not just in terms of his once atrocious cardio and he's settled into being a solid midcard level bully or enforcer depending on his current alignment at the time.

Red Panther (Little Phenom)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/PhenomenalE_Hasami_zps31370548.jpg

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun/American Panther

Hometown: London, Ontario, Canada

Age: 31/ Height: 5ft8 /Weight: 177 Ibs

Finishers: Tumbleweed Legdrop (Somersault Legdrop), Red Alert (Corkscrew Shooting Star Press)

Signature Moves: Springboard 450 Splash, Springboard Moonsault, Springboard Corkscrew Moonsault, Slingshot Senton, Slingshot Legdrop, Slingshot Flying Shoulder Tackle, Tilt-A-Whirl DDT, Tope Con Hilo, Springboard Back Elbow, Corkscrew Plancha, Sunset Flip Powerbomb, Crucifix Bomb, Falcon Arrow, Jumping Reverse STO, Falling Double Knee Backbreaker.

Personal Fact: The man behind the Red Panther mask, Ed Larkins list his hobbies as Texting, shopping at Hot Topic, hangin' out with his crew at McDonalds and playing the Facebook app game Candy Crush Saga.

In Their Words: OMG! I'm in Japan, Totes Amaze-Balls baby. OMG! This Mask is Totes Amaze-Balls baby, OMG! I get to fly around wearing this amaze-balls mask. OMG! I'm totally Totes Amaze-Balls baby.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag Team (2 Times, current w/ American Optimus)

Optimus;Notes: Ed- san has been coming to Japan now for seven years and he can still barely talk a word of nihongo, mind you given his communication skills in his own language I am not surprised. As for what he brings to Burning Hammer as an in-ring performer, he's proven himself to be a capable high flyer with a nice arsenal of flashy moves but because he cannot fully connect with the fans due to the language barrier, it's unlikely he will ever rise much past his current midcard level.

Sanetomo Shiraishi (Surly Lizard)

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e148/razorsedge69907/BHOTWG/SanetomoShiraishi.jpg

Affiliation: Snow Lizzard

Hometown: Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Chugoku

Age: 49/ Height: 6ft /Weight: 239 Ibs

Finishers: Lizard Clutch (Anaconda Vise), Flying Lizard (Swandive Headbutt)

Signature Moves: Discus Elbow, High Knee Lift, Belly to Back Leg Hook Suplex, Dragon Suplex, Swinging Neckbreaker, DDT, La Magistral, Cobra Clutch, Dragon Sleeper

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Tag Team (5 Times, w/ Sessue Kawate)

Personal Fact: Sanetomo Shiraishi says that back when he was a just a teenager, he didn't make many friends at school due to the fact that he was cursed with the face of a criminal, He did however enter a volatile romance with a girl who was short in stature and equally short in temper- 25 years after getting married and the couple are somehow still together.

In Their Words: The Doctors keep telling me I shouldn't be wrestling anymore- I'm nearly 50 and I've been wearing a knee brace for over a decade and that I'm lucky even to be able just to walk, yet alone have the audacity to dare to do anything else.

People tell me I shouldn't keep doing the Flying Lizard- because it will put too much stress on my already fragile body and that I'm one Flying Lizard away from permanently being in wheelchair. Well screw logic! I'm going to keep on wrestling until I die, I'm going to keep on doing the Flying Lizard until I can literally take no more. So what if I die in the ring, because if I die what I love doing, I die happy!

Optimus;Notes: Whilst I admire the will of my fellow veteran Shiraishi-san to battle on as an active in-ring performer until almost the age of 50, I also feel that his decision to do so is rather fool-hardy, because the man is broken down beyond repair and I do worry that he will end up doing himself serious damage. And whilst the tag title run for Snow Lizzard last year was a nice bit of nostalgia, it did little to enhance the status and importance of the tag team titles.

Sensational Dragon (Gods Gift to wrestling)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/SensationalDragon_Hasami_zps40bb83ee.jpg

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun

Hometown: Okayama, Okayama,Chugoku

Age: 28/ Height: 5ft9 /Weight: 186 Ibs

Finishers: Dragon Slice (Shiranui), Sensation Shock (Diving/Springboard Hurricanrana Pin), Dragon's Inferno (Corkscrew 450 Splash), Sensational Driver (Cross Legged Fisherman Brainbuster), Evangelion (Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors Arm Bar)

Signature Moves: Corkscrew Moonsault Press, Springboard Moonsault, Springboard Split Leg Moonsault, Tiger Feint Kick, Haruhi Kick (High Velocity Corner Drop Kick), Diving Cutter, Tilt-A-Whirl DDT, Multi Revolution Headscissors Takedown, Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors into a Crucifix Pin, Hurracanrana, Reverse Hurracanrana, Crucifix Bomb, Stunner counter to a Vertical Suplex, Superkick, Springboard Enzuigiri, Handspring Roundhouse Kick, Dragon Suplex, Brainbuster, Fisherman Suplex, Superplex, Rope Hung Neckscissors, Tilt-A-Whirl into an Octopus Stretch, Cross Armed Surfboard.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Championship (4 Times), BHOTWG Best of the Super Juniors (2 Times), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Hiroaki Nakasawa)

Personal Fact: Sensational Dragon claims that he is so good at everything he does, that he only has to do it once and he's already an expert, due to the fact that he truly believes that he is no mere mortal human but a god that walks the earth.

In Their Words: I am the great Dragon-Sama, the almighty god of wrestling ....I am untouchable, no one comes near to having even 0.00000000000000000000000-Infinity of my brilliance. Everyone else is in the shadows to my glowing almighty excellence, I am the perfect wrestler, I am the perfect being, I am THE god, I am the god that transcends all the other gods.....I am the almighty one himself and just bathing in the incandescent glow of my supreme self , will make you 1% better than you already are....

But bathe in the glow of my brilliance all you like, you will never ever be as great as me, for I am the Sensational Dragon, Dragon-sama himself, the almighty god of wrestling, the almighty god of all the gods amongst infinite universes!

Optimus;Notes: Sensational Dragon is a self centred jerk with a god complex, an insufferable braggart who if I didn't pride myself in keeping professional standards, I would have taken fists and feet to that little shit by now, and I don't mean back inside of the ring. However as much of a egotistical nightmare as he is, he does actually have the talent as a wrestler to back up the sky high opinion he has of himself. Talented as he may be though, I think giving Dragon his first Junior title reign at such a young age, removed all hope for him learning to have a modicum of humility.

Sessue Kawate (The Snowman)

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e148/razorsedge69907/BHOTWG/SessueKawate.jpg

Affiliation: Snow Lizzard

Hometown: Funabashi, Chiba, Kanto

Age: 49/ Height: 6ft1 /Weight: 250 Ibs

Finishers: Freeze Frame (Forward Russian Legsweep), Snow Plow (Fisherman DDT)

Signature Moves: Lariat, Headbutt, Mongolian Chop, Scoop Powerslam, Brainbuster, Belly to Belly Suplex, German Suplex.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Tag Team (5 Times, w/ Sanetomo Shiraishi)

Personal Fact: Back in his hard partying days, Sessue Kawate had a gold cigarette case filled with rolled up 10,000 yen notes, which he would use to engage with his friend 'Charlie'. He also said that his favourite thing was to pick up a host from one of the bars in Kabukicho, take them to a Love Hotel and then hoover up his favourite white powder off their body.

In Their Words: There was a time I put so much sugar up my nose that it almost disappeared, hell it's not just my nose that could have gone away, I could be gone entirely. But I'm still here, I've battled past those demons, and here I am, still wrestling, defying the odds, and each day I get to go out there and perform, I feel truly grateful for.

Optimus;Notes: I suppose our patience with Muraguchi-kun, stemmed from all the chances we gave Kawate-san in regards to his 'problems'. But unlike Muraguchi-san, Kawate-san was unfortunately left a shell of what he could have been. He's done well to salvage a decent career for himself, as a tag team specialist but he truly could have been a main event calibre talent and it's a real shame that his mistakes will never see him reach his full potential.

Shimedzu (Sky Ninja)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_Shimedzu.jpg

Affiliation: The Rebellion

Hometown: Wakayama, Wakayama, Kansai

Age: 43/ Height: 5ft11 /Weight: 211 Ibs

Finishers: Shimedzu Skull Drop (Spike Brainbuster), Shinigami (Fireman's Carry Dropped into a Roundhouse Kick), Kuro Katana (Feint Roundhouse Kick, followed by a second Roundhouse Kick with the opposite leg) , A-Ko Arrow (Slingshot Falcon Arrow)

Signature Moves: Roundhouse Kick, Sliding Single Leg Drop Kick, Springboard Enzuigiri, Backflip Kick, Missile Dropkick, Superkick, Cross Body Splash (including slingshot and springboard variations), Diving Hurracanrana, Moonsault Press, Brainbuster, Dragon Suplex, Tornado DDT, Legsweep DDT, Diving Sitout Facebuster, Dragon Screw Legwhip, Crucifix Bomb.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Openweight (1 Time), Burning World Tag Team ( 3 Times, w/Miyamae), Burning Junior Tag Team (3 Times, w/Miyamae), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Miyamae)

Personal Fact: Back in high-school Shimedzu was the captain of the Kendo Club, and that he could legitimately be a top ranked Kendo fighter, if he had continued to pursue that path.

In Their Words: As much as I'd still love to be tagging with Miyamae-san on a regular basis and going after yet another championship together, it just wasn't possible for us to stay in the same weight class anymore- my body just couldn't take the extra muscle mass I had forced myself to put on, whilst Miyamae-san is naturally bulkier than me.

Also as much as I'd love to be making an impact now that I'm back in the Junior Division, I'm realistic enough to realise that the focus is on the new generation, the Dragon's, the Masuko's, the Elemental number three's of this world and rightly so because they're all awesome talents. So I accept that my own time in the spotlight has probably passed now, so I'm prepared to do what I can to help the stars of Burning Hammer shine that much brighter.

Optimus;Notes: It's in my honest opinion that Shimedzu-san gave up possible singles glory as a Junior Heavyweight in order to keep his successful tag team with Miyamae-san together. The history books will tell you that The Rebellion will go down as one of the greatest teams in the history of BHOTWG (the only duo to win both the Junior Tag and Heavyweight Tag title belts), but Shimedzu-san honestly had it in him to be star in his own right and I wonder if there is some regret there for him?

Tadakuni Toshusai (Crazy Shocker)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TadakuniToshusai_PINK_zps659ee301.jpg

Affiliation: P.I.N.K

Hometown: Tennoji, Osaka, Kansai

Age: 31/ Height: 6ft2 /Weight: 247 Ibs

Finishers: Atsuryoku Shokku (Electric Chair Dropped into a Facebuster), BAKA! (Flying Fore Arm Smash), URUSAI! (Sliding Fore Arm Smash)

Signature Moves: Ed Henson Press (Lou Thesz Press), Mounted Punches, Mongolian Chop, Corner Clothesline, Rebound Clothesline, Elbow Drop, Knee Drop, Headbutt, Falling Headbutt with Theatrics, Electric Chair Drop, Vertical Suplex, Belly to Back Suplex, Slingshot Suplex, Neckbreaker Slam, Pumphandle Slam.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Imperial (1 Time, Current), Burning Openweight (2 Time), Burning World Tag Team, 2 Times- 1 Time w/ Koshiro Ono), 1 Time w/Nisso Yuasha), BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time,w/ Marihito Masuko)

Personal Fact: Perhaps more than anyone on the current BHOTWG roster, Tadakuni Toshusai has become a crossover media personality in recent years, making regular apperances on current affair show panels (where his mug can regularly be seen in a box in the corner of the screen, whilst a reporter is visiting some Ramen shop etc), participating in game shows and even launching his own J-Pop career with a string of minor hit's on the Oricon charts that include: ME CRAZY, YOU BAKA! and The Mongolian Chop Song.

In Their Words: Go buy my soon to be hit single on Oricon charts 'CRAZY CRAZY SHOCKY SHOCKY SHOCKY RUMPY PUMPY FUN TIME!'

Optimus;Notes: Toshusai-san isn't what you would call a great wrestler from a technical stand point, but his fundamentals are good enough and he's decent at what he can do (which is primarily wild brawling) that he can be carried to a good match. However what has clearly helped him push his way up the card to main event status, is his unique charisma which he is capable of portraying as an unorthodox babyface or as a crazed heel- though perhaps his penchant for comedy spots and crazy behavior might just end up preventing him from being taken completely seriously by fans conditioned to more straight laced men taking the most important spots at the top of the tree.

Roster Dossier #4

Tadiyuki Kikkawa (Strong Arm Emperor)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TadiyukiKikkawa_INSPIRE_zps0d42dddc.jpg

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE

Hometown: Sumida, Tokyo, Kanto

Age: 41/ Height: 6ft2 /Weight: 245 Ibs

Finishers: Kikkawa Lariat (Lariat with Elbow Pad removal theatrics), Burning Lariat (Pendulum Rebound Lariat), Kikkawa Driver (Sitout Side Powerslam), Kikkawa Driver 2K9 (Over The Shoulder Reverse Piledriver) Kasai Doragon Driver (Burning Hammer)- Rarely Used

Signature Moves: Discus Elbow Smash, Running Elbow Smash, Rapid Fire Chops in the Corner, Running Corner Lariat, Spear, Yakuza Kick, Diving Elbow Drop (usually following a snapmare out of the corner), Lifting DDT, Brainbuster, Delayed Vertical Suplex, Superplex, German Suplex, Exploder Suplex, Northern Lights Suplex, Lifting DDT, Death Valley Driver, Powerbomb, Sleeper Hold, Single Leg Boston Crab

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Championship (5 Times), Burning World Tag Team (2 Times, w/Eiji Hamacho), INSPIRE King of Fighters (1 Time), BHOTWG Super Grade Cup (5 Times)

Personal Fact: Outside of the wrestling ring, Tadiyuki Kikkawa has an interest in Trucking and has a garage filled with a personal collection of vintage semi-trailer trucks.

In Their Words: Do I regret ever leaving BHOTWG, to go and form INSPIRE? No, absolutely not...Burning Hammer will always run through my veins but the INSPIRE rebellion as the press called it, needed to happen...Kaneie Komine was out of touch and it needed someone to do something bold and shake things up around here. My only real regret is that Kudo-san ended up siding with that fool Komine-san and one of Burning Hammer's greatest ever legends is toiling away the twilight of his career in the insignificance that is Golden Canvas in pathetic protest.

Optimus;Notes: It goes without saying that Kikkawa-san has already carved himself out a legendary career, and that he will be recognized as one of the greatest heavyweight wrestlers of all time. As for the man himself, I'm not going to lie and say that I completely agreed with the INSPIRE rebellion or that I was particularly a fan of how things were handled when they came back, which lead to the man I consider to be as much of an icon, perhaps even more so in Burning Hammers history Kudo-san leaving us for Golden Canvas. However I am a professional and bear no personal grudge with Kikkawa-san, what's done is done.

Taro Shionoya (The Wrecking Ball)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TaroShironoya_Hasami_zps29e1b71f.jpg

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun

Hometown: Kawagoe, Saitama, Kanto

Age: 26/ Height: 6ft5 /Weight: 264 Ibs

Finishers: Toriko Bomb (Release Crucifix Powerbomb), Saigo no Seikatsu (Double Handed Chokebomb)

Signature Moves: Corner Clothesline, Running Big Boot, Lariat, Chokeslam, Samoan Drop, Shoulder Block, Powerbomb, Full Nelson Bomb, Gutwrench Powerbomb, Gutwrench Suplex, Backdrop Suplex, German Suplex, Side Slam, Running Powerslam

Personal Fact: Taro Shionoya was going to follow in the footsteps of his father and join the family construction business, but a chance meeting at the gym where Shionoya works out, put him on the path to pro wrestling. It's rumoured that the chance meeting was with Hinote Dojo owner Stunner Okazawaya, who instantly spotted Shionoya's natural physical gifts upon entering the gym.

In Their Words: I'm gonna be hitting everything hard, real hard in order to get to the top here in Burning Hammer..... Everything I do I will at 200 % of my optimum output, I'll show everyone that the man they call the Wrecking Ball, will be an unstoppable force in Puroresu.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Optimus;Notes: Shionoya-san is a powerful heavyweight wrestler, who is already able to wrestle to a decent standard and at only 26 has plenty of years ahead of him to improve his ring-craft. The potential is certainly there for him to be our next great 'monster heel' and if he continues to work hard, there is no reason why in say about five years time he won't be main eventing (significant) shows for us.

Tasuku Iesada (Dangerous)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TasukuIesada_INSPIRE_zps5788b9ae.jpg

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE/The Manipulators

Hometown: Toyota, Aichi, Chubu

Age: 40/ Height: 5ft10/Weight: 232 Ibs

Finishers: Iesada Special (Flying Cross Armbreaker), Iesada Special II (Northern Lights Suplex floated into a Cross Arm Breaker), Blackout Driver (Cradle Piledriver)

Signature Moves: Running Knee Lift, Rapid Fire Slaps, Running Fore-arm Smash, Yakuza Kick, Cross Arm Breaker, Heel Hook, Sleeper, Inverted Facelock Takeover, Figure Four Leglock, Dragon Screw Legwhip, German Suplex, Northern Lights Suplex, High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, Leghook Belly to Back Suplex, Brainbuster, Piledriver, Earth Breaker (Double Underhook Powerbomb).

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Imperial (1 Time), Burning World Tag Team (2 Times- 1 Time w/Motoichi Arakida, 1 Time w/Masaaki Okazaki), BHOTWG Super Grade Cup (1 Time),BHOTWG Openweight Tag Grand Prix (1 Time, w/Masaaki Okazaki)

Personal Fact: A well read man, with interests in history, politics and economics, Tasuku Iesada's ambition after his wrestler career ends is to write a series of books on the business of the professional wrestling industry.

In Their Words: I'd like to think that I'm a good fair guy, but if you cross me, then I'll remember it, when Komine-san ran this promotion I never felt like I got a fair shake, and Kikkawa-san always had my back, so being part of the INSPIRE rebellion was a no brainer. When Komine-san was ousted and we decided to fold INSPIRE and return to our rightful home, I felt honored that Kikkawa-san would like me to take over as head booker. I felt a duty however not to push myself in too much of a prominent position, I take pride in being a team player.

But I suppose every wrestler has something of a selfish streak in them eventually, because those who don't find themselves staring up at the lights night after night- So I'm hoping that now I've decided to step down from my role as head booker, that the dedicated hard work I have put into my wrestling career will finally be rewarded with a world title run.

Optimus;Notes: Much like Okazaki-san who followed Kikkawa-san to INSPIRE, Iesada-san is another one of the nearly men of Burning Hammer, a talent that has knocked on the door of being a main eventer and has had title shots but never quite won the big one. In the end his steadfast loyalty to Kikkawa-san may well have cost him a BHOTWG World title run, something that might have happened for him had he chosen to stay behind in 2006. Well it still might happen for Iesada-san, as he's not quite at that age yet where he would considered to be over the hill and the fact he has handed over the book, shows his intentions that he believes he has a main event run in him.

Tatsuya Toshitala (Double T/Cradle Kid)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TatsuyaToshitala_INSPIRE_zps52765d65.jpg

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE

Hometown: Kakogawa, Hyogo, Kansai

Age: 23/ Height: 5ft9/Weight: 228 Ibs

Finishers: Shining Triangle (Running Triangle Choke), Enerugi Dorein (Grapevine Heel Hook), Odoroki Katsu (Head and Leghook Inside Cradle), Ashikaga Clutch (Double Leg Nelson Pin), Tengoku Backslide (Backslide Pin)

Signature Moves: Crossface Chickenwing, Sleeper, Dragon Sleeper, Cloverleaf, Boston Crab, Figure Four Leglock, Hammerlock, Hammerlock DDT, Flowing DDT, German Suplex, Running Bulldog, Rolling Cutter, Double Knee Backbreaker, Gutbuster.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: Since arriving as a member of the BHOTWG roster, Tatsuya Toshitala has earned the backstage nickname of YOSHI-HASHI due his strong resemblance to the Total Wrestling Evolution character.

In Their Words: There's this computer game that has come out, that involves putting together wrestling events and such like...I think it's called Total Wrestling Evolution or something like that- and it comes with this made up universe of sorts called the Tanahashiverse- anyway people keep telling me that I look like one of the characters in the game- some dude called YOSHI-HASHI , who works for some promotion called New Japan Pro Wrestling, who seem to be like a parody of Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods.

Anyway I looked at this YOSHI-HASHi's stats and well he wrestles nothing like me, if they are going to rip-off my likeness, they could at least go all the way and have the lookalike wrestle just like me.

Optimus;Notes: Young Toshitala-san is something of an enigma right now, whilst his technical wrestling skills are pretty good, his fundamentals such as his basics and his in-ring psychology could do with vast improvement, whilst his consistency as a performer is very much up and down right now. The potential is certainly there for him to be a useful member of our roster for years to come, but just how useful he can be or how far he can go is rather speculative at this point.

The Awesome Kiyaru (Supernatural Genius)

Signature Moves: Moonsault Press, Split Leg Moonsault, Springboard Moonsault, Corkscrew Plancha, Standing Moonsault, Standing Corkscrew Moonsault, Standing Shooting Star Press, Tornado DDT, Inverted Tornado DDT, Springboard Inverted DDT, Tilt-A-Whirl Crucifix Arm Bar, Tilt-A-Whirl Russian Legsweep, Hurracanrana, Kip-Up Hurracanrana, Dropsault, Springboard Drop-Kick, Flying Crossbody, Ed Henson Press Pin, Lag Magistral Cradle, Brainbuster, Falcon Arrow, Fisherman Suplex.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Championship (4 Times), Burning Junior Tag Team (3 Times, w/ Golden Scorpion), BHOTWG Best of the Super Juniors (3 Times)

Personal Fact: It is rumoured that The Awesome Kiyaru's unique 'wood effect' mask never comes off, and that it has become permanantely moulded to his face, leading to the conclusion that the man behind the mask, has literally become it.

In Their Words: In his older years a magician becomes more wiser, my spells may not be as spectacular as they once were, but I feel I have more control of my abilities. I can still dazzle the world with awesome spectacle, but that awesome spectacle now has a deeper purpose, and the purpose of my magic encapsulates those who come in contact with it. Often these days I don't just see, but I feel a beautiful chemistry sparkle into life.

Optimus;Notes: Aah my old rival Kiyaru-san, the final one left still flying the flag from what I would consider to be my generation of Junior Heavyweights (Even though I am over ten years older, and I suppose you could count Yasujiro-san too when talking about my generation, but he spent most of his career away from Burning Hammer).

Kiyaru-san is not quite as spectacular as a high flyer as he used to be, but he's still very capable of flying around with the best of them and he's in amazing shape for his age. I personally would love to see him get one more run with the Junior Championship, because in my opinion he deserves it.

The Incredible Koyama (High Fly Wonder)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TheIncredibleKoyama_PINK_zps00c5fe97.jpg

Affiliation: P.I.N.K

Hometown: Neyagawa, Osaka, Kansai

Age: 32/ Height: 5ft9/Weight: 178 Ibs

Finishers: Incredible Death Spike (Front Flip Piledriver), Koyama Grip (Kip Up Hurracanrana rolled into a Triangle Choke), Air Koyama (Shooting Star Press)

Signature Moves: Standing Shooting Star Press, Moonsault, Corkscrew Moonsault, Feint Moonsault into a standing Moonsault, Standing Corkscew Moonsault, Frankensteiner, Reverse Rana, Slingshot Hurracanrana, Bridging Evasion followed by a Roundhouse Kick, Missile Drop Kick, Springboard Dropkick, Dragon Suplex, German Suplex, Brainbuster, Ankle Lock.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: It appears that from as early as kindergarten The Incredible Koyama was destined for either the wrestling ring or a career as a gymnast, because from the Age of 5 he started doing Shooting Star Presses off the top of Jungle Gym and into the Sandbox.

In Their Words: I come here in a blaze of publicity, THEY even hyped me up as being one of the greatest high flyers of my generation- and then what do they do with me, what do they ****ing do with me, jack ****ing shit that's what.

You know what they ****ing got me doing right now, kissing that ****ing freak Masuko's pink painted arse , going round being his ****ing lackey. I shouldn't be in that face painted freaks ****ing shadow, he should be in my ****ing shadow, because I have a million more times the ****ing talent than that loser or anyone else on this roster does!

Part of me wants to ****ing quit this travesty, but I'm not gonna ****ing do that, because that will show that the ****tards in charge have beaten me the **** down, and I'm sure as hell ain't gonna quit and go begging on my ****ing knees to join that small time ****fest called WLW.

Optimus;Notes: There is no question over the fact that Koyama-san has the talent to succeed, he's an inventive high flyer who also carries himself like a star, but I think he came here after a good run with WLW and expect it to be handed to him on a plate, and that he wouldn't have to put the work in to earn his way to the top of the Junior Division. I'm afraid to say that Koyama-san has had a rude awakening in that regard and he's not taken to it well, often sulking over the fact that he's not been getting his way and it has come out in some of his performances, which have at times been uninspired. There was already one incredibly talented but egotistical prick on this roster in the form of Sensational Dragon, and Koyama-san has found that we don't have the time and patience for another.

Toshiki Shibanumo (Mr Personality)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/ToshikiShibanumo_PINK_zps18fcc4ab.jpg

Affiliation: P.I.N.K

Hometown: Kofu, Yamanashi, Chubu

Age: 32/ Height: 5ft10/Weight: 228 Ibs

Finishers: Hashi-Plex (Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex), Shiba- Recliner (Standing Camel Clutch), STF

Signature Moves: Lariat Takedown, Chop Block, Knee Lift, Abdominal Stretch, Hammerlock, Boston Crab, Hammerlock DDT, Swinging Neckbreaker, Snap Suplex, Belly to Back Suplex, German Suplex, Brainbuster, Sidewalk Slam.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: Toshiki Shibaumo eats the same meal every day: Nikujaga (Meat and Potato stew) with a side bowl of plain white rice.

In Their Words: Other day light bulb went out in me kitchen, but I had run out replacement lightbulbs, so I had to go down t'local shop, think it might have been a Lawsons, or was it the Daily Yamazaki down other end of street? Anyway don't matter, but...... erm..... turns out convenience store didn't have lightbulbs. So I had to take train to centre of town and go to specialist D.I.Y store and they had set of lightbulbs in stock. But I couldn't remember what voltage of light bulb I needed.......

Optimus;Notes: Shibanumo-san is essentially an older version of Enomoto-san, a solid wrestler who performs at a consistent level but has less personality than a broomstick (or any other inanimate object that can be found). In a desperate attempt by the higher ups to give him some personality, they've made him become one of Masuko's P.I.N.K chronies, but that can't hide the fact that he is quite possibly the dullest person in the history of humanity. Whatever you do, do not, DO NOT hold a conversation with this man, you will regret it!

VENOM (The Lethal Assassin)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/Venom_INSPIRE_zps950648a9.jpg

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE/Full Ligament Panic!

Hometown: Hirakata, Osaka, Kansai

Age: 33/ Height: 5ft10/Weight: 197 Ibs

Finishers: Sting In The Tail (Calf Slicer), Kamuhebi Sliding Kick (Single Leg Sliding Drop Kick to the Face), Chisi-Chusha (Double Underhook Piledriver), Daibingu-Shi (Diving Double Stomp to a rope hung opponent)

Signature Moves: Dragon Screw Leg Whip, Corner to Corner Drop Kick, Senton Splash to a corned opponent, Facewash, Diving Knee Drop, Diving Double Stomp, Slingshot Double Stomp, Tope Suicida, Flying Fore Arm Smash, Diving Bulldog, Step Up Knee Strike Into the Corner, Figure Four Leg Lock, Tilt-A-Whirl DDT, Octopus Stretch, Brainbuster, Belly to Back Suplex, Fisherman Suplex.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Openweight (1 Time), Burning Junior Tag Team (3 Times, w/Yoshii Shiomi)

Personal Fact: VENOM is a fan of retro video games and is particularly a fan of the original Megaman on the original Nintedo Entertainment System, and claims that any video game developed after 2003 (when the Super Nintendo was discontinued) is a piece of shit.

In Their Words: There's still plenty of time for me to make a real impact, but I need to make it soon, before I get permanently stuck in a perpetual mid card malaise- Look that's what has happened to Golden Scorpion. Is he ever going to win the Junior Title? Probably not , his time has passed but I think I still have a chance. Well I would have a chance if I was actually given a chance. But like I said, I have not given up hope, my time will come and when that time comes I'll show everyone that it was wrong to overlook VENOM all these years.

Optimus;Notes: Tomioka-san (or VENOM as the fans will know him better as) has been with us for over a decade now, and during that time he's proven himself to be a solid hand and a valuable asset to the Junior Division, however he's always had to contend with the fact that there have been more standout workers preventing him from rising higher. Do I feel that he still has it in him to step his game up further and make the people that matter take notice more? I certainly think he can, but he needs to do it soon or risk being seen as midcard fodder for the rest of his career.

Roster Dossier #5

White Samurai (Historic Warrior)

http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r231/haloed114/cv%20renders/WhiteSamurai.jpg

Affiliation: None

Hometown: Kasukabe, Saitama, Kanto

Age: 33/ Height: 5ft10/Weight: 197 Ibs

Finishers: The Art of War (Leaping Reverse STO), Shining Blade (Springboard or Diving Roundhouse Kick)

Signature Moves: Missile Drop-Kick, Spinning Heel Kick, Enzuigiri, Springboard Enzuigiri, Moonsault, Tope Suicida, Diving Crossbody Splash, Tornado DDT, Basement drop-kick in the corner, Falling Double Knee Backbreaker, STO, Reverse STO, Brainbuster, Northern Lights Suplex, Belly to Back Suplex, Dragon Suplex, Tilt-A-Whirl Cross Arm Breaker, Ankle Lock.

BHOTWG Honours: None

Personal Fact: White Samurai claims that before he became a professional fighter, he spent two years living inside a cave in the Kamikochi mountains.

In Their Words: The only people are ever interested in, is asking me why I call myself White Samurai, when I dress in a white ninja costume, when they should be asking me, why are you constantly losing matches? They should be tearing their hair out over the fact, that I'm so awesomely talented as a wrestler, yet I keep getting beaten up by hacks with half of my talent.

Optimus;Notes: Sanda-san has found it tough since coming here to Burning Hammer. His character White Samurai is a legacy character of one that never got above mid tier status (and never won any titles for that matter) himself in Scarlet Samurai and I can tell you that whilst Sanda-san isn't a terrible worker, Scarlet was a much better one and so it comes as no surprise that things haven't quite worked out for Sanda-san the way he would have hoped.

If he's truly passionate about being a wrestler and not just about collecting a regular paycheck, then it might do him good to perhaps move away from Burning Hammer and reignite his career at somewhere like Exodus- but in all honesty I think he has lost whatever spark he had and has become comfortable with just being a body to put others over.

Yasuhiko Taira (The Bulldozer)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/YasuhikoTaira_Hasami_zpsb2c6e197.jpg

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun/Black Magic

Hometown: Yubari, Hokkaido

Age: 35/ Height: 6ft5 /Weight: 270 Ibs

Finishers: Taira ni Suru (Running Corner Big Boot, Followed by a Lariat to an opponent stumbling out of the corner), Hakai Boru (Muscle Buster)

Signature Moves: Running Corner Clothesline, Snake Eyes, Repeated Back Elbow shots in the Corner, Big Boot, Leg Drop, Delayed Vertical Suplex, Exploder Suplex, Release German Suplex, Chokeslam, Powerbomb, Side Slam, Scoop Powerslam.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning World Championship (1 Time), Burning World Tag Team (1 Time, w/Yasunobu Masuno), BHOTWG Super Grade Cup (1 Time)

Personal Fact: Yasuhiko Taira is a big fan of German Heavy rock music, something that may go someway to explaining his love of sporting the mullet hairstyle.

In Their Words: In all honesty, I wanted to call my duo with Masuno-san MULLET POWER! - But that idea got crapped upon and instead we were forced to take on the name Black Magic, which in my opinion is just nonsensical. Do we look like goths, who attempt to do magic? No we don't, but we do have is awesome mullets and we have lots of power!

Optimus;Notes: Taira-san has grown into becoming a good big man, who loses his dominating physical presence to his advantage. He was pretty clunky when he first started out and his cardio was fairly poor but he's come on leaps and bounds in recent years, which is all credit to him because he could have gotten lazy when he got his megapush in 2009, where he won the World Championship and then the Super Grade Cup.

That push came too far soon, and he flopped with such a heavy amount of spotlight put upon him. However Taira-san took the right attitude from that situation and put in the hard work to improve himself and now he probably is ready to be put into a more prominent position.

____________________________________________________________

Yasunobu Masuno (Power Prince)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/YasunobuMasuno_Hasami_zpsf001b210.jpg

Affiliation: Hasami-Gun/Black Magic

Hometown: Kashiwa, Chiba, Kanto

Age: 31/ Height: 6ft4 /Weight: 264 Ibs

Finishers: Avalanche Bomb (High Angle Powerbomb), Day of Rackening (Argentine Backbreaker Rack), Masuno Deep Sleep (Arm Hook Sleeper Hold)

Signature Moves: Big Boot, Spear, Brainbuster, Pumphandle Slam, Swinging Side Slam, Death Valley Driver, Samoan Driver, Chokeslam, Firemans Carry Cutter, Gutbuster.

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Imperial (1 Time), Burning World Tag Team (2 Times- 1 Time w/Everest, 1 Time with Yasuhiko Taira)

Personal Fact: Yasunobu Masuno actually hates his mullet, and has wanted to get rid of it for years, but because he is regularly paired up with fellow mullet sporter Yasuhiko Taira, he is prepared to make a personal sacrifice and suffer through this fashion faux pas. It is said that he has been pushing for hair vs hair or hair vs mask match versus someone, where he loses the match and will be forced to have his head shaved but thus far his requests have been ignored.

In Their Words: Good thing myself and Taira-san didn't go with that ridiculous MULLET POWER! moniker, in the end for, otherwise we would have never have been taking seriously. As for where I'm at right now in my career, I feel like I'm knocking on the ceiling, but haven't quite broken through but I know I've got plenty of good years ahead of me and I'm prepared to be patient and wait for my time to come. I have faith in the Burning Hammer management, that they will know when the time is right to pull the trigger one me being a true go to guy.

Optimus;Notes: Masuno-san will always get compared to his tag partner Taira-san, simply because they are similar in size, work a similar style and both share the same terrible mullet hairstyle (I assure you that under this mask that I wear, my flowing locks are not a mullet!). Masuno san's handling has probably been a little more sensibly cautious, than that with his partner, as he's yet to have a world title run. I believe that a world title run though is within reach for him, as he had a good run a few years back with the newly introduced Imperial Championship, that has been pitched between the 'midcard' and the 'main event'.

Yoshii Shiomi (The Sublime Jewel)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/YoshiiShiomi_INSPIRE_zps480ea4e7.jpg

Affiliation: Team INSPIRE/Full Ligament Panic!

Hometown: Hakodate, Hokkaido

Age: 34/ Height: 5ft7 /Weight: 175 Ibs

Finishers: Uchiagehanabi (High Angle Senton Bomb), Sublime Crossface (Spinning Bulldog transitioned into a Crossface), Sakura Goodbye (Flip DDT)

Signature Moves: Tornado DDT, Diving Bulldog, Spinning Bulldog, Wheelbarrow Bulldog, Slingshot Senton, Springboard Moonsault, Tope Con Hilo, Corner Senton Splash, Hurracanrana, Spinning Headscissor Takedown, Tilt--A-Whirl Arm-Drag , Inverted Facelock Stunner, Wheelbarrow Facebuster, OVERDRIVE (Leg Swinging Neckbreaker), Double Knee Backbreaker, Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Elemental Suplex, Diving Facebuster, Dragon Sleeper, Stone Hold (Sharpshooter).

BHOTWG Honours: Burning Junior Tag (3 Times, w/VENOM)

Personal Fact: Yoshii Shiomi is a big fan of the all girl Japanese J-Pop/Rock band SCANDAL and is infatuated with their lead guitarist Mami Sasazaki.

In Their Words: I could talk about how things are going for me inside of the Burning Hammer ring right now, but to be honest that's not particularly important. But I tell you what is important, Mami Sasazaki's hair! That's really important, Mami-chan's ever changing hair colour, is truly fascinating don't you think? I mean normally I would say that blonde hair with green streaks would look ridiculous on anyone else, but because Mami-chan is so awesome, she can carry it off with such exquisite coolness....I truly wish I was as cool as Mami-chan!

Optimus;Notes: I think much of what I said about Shiomi-san's regular partner Tomioka-san, can be pretty much applied to Shiomi-san himself, though I would say out of the pair Shiomi-san brings a little more sizzle, whilst VENOM-san brings more of the steak.

____________________________________________________________

Optimus left a note against these saying, that these lots were currently wrestlers we had down in 'development' at Hinote Dojo and that Stunner Okazawaya who runs things down there left him some notes on how the 'projects' were getting along....

Hinote Dojo- Awaiting Call Up

Michio Gensai (Field General)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/MichioGensai_zps19e5e633.jpg

Hometown: Ashakikawa, Hokkaido

Age: 23/ Height: 6ft 1 /Weight: 250Ibs

Finishers: Avalanche Spike Slam (Top Rope Death Valley Driver), Terminal IMPACT (Spear)

Signature Moves: Running Senton Splash, Corner Body Avalanche, Overhead Chop, Running Short Arm Clotheslines, Flying Double Axe Handle, Stalling Knee Drop, Chop Block, Running Scoop Powerslam, Samoan Drop, Firemans Carry Gutbuster, German Suplex, Release Belly to Belly Suplex.

Personal Fact: Michio Gensai was a promising rugby player, that played in the hooker position and could have gone on to play for the National Team- however an arm injury ended his career and he turn his attention to trying to make it as a professional wrestler.

The Stunners Opinion: Gensai-san is a hard working kid who is determined to make it as a pro wrestler. Despite the arm injury he picked up from his time as a Rugby Player, he is physically impressive, with a lot of natural power and good cardio for a man of his build (something that points to his time as a serious sportsman). However his fundamentals at this stage still need major improvement and it may be two years at least until he's ready to be called up to the main roster.

____________________________________________________________

Reijiro Hiraki (The Amber Kid)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/ReijiroHiraki_zps63828e1e.jpg

Hometown: Kumamoto, Kumamoto, Kyushu

Age: 27/ Height: 5ft 10/Weight: 198 Ibs

Finishers: Amber Piledriver (Straight Jacket Piledriver), Amber Twist (Front Facelock turned into a Cutter), Amber Sky Dive ( Corkscrew Senton Bomb)

Signature Moves: Missile Drop-Kick, Springboard Flying Chop, Flying Spinning Heel Kick, No Hands Somersault Plancha, Moonsault Press, Handspring Back Elbow, Backflip Kick, Frankensteiner, Elemental Suplex, Bridging Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Wheelbarrow Bulldog, Tornado DDT, Tilt-A-Whirl Cross Armbreaker, Tilt-A-Whirl into an STF, Tombstone Piledriver, Pumphandle Neckbreaker.

Personal Fact: According to Reijiro Hiraki, the golden streak in his hair comes from the fact that he is infact naturally blonde and dyes the majority of his hair black, and not the other way round. Seeing as everyone else in Japan has naturally black hair, no one believes him.

The Stunners Opinion: Hiraki-san has been with us in Hinote Dojo now for nearly a decade, and he's gone from a promising but very raw young talent to a well rounded Junior Heavyweight wrestler. There's nothing left for this kid to do down in Hinote and in all honesty he could have been called up to the main roster years ago. The time is either to pull the trigger on him being on the main Burning Hammer roster or let him go. However the latter I think would be a foolish move, this kid won't have any trouble finding work with a rival promotion and I really think he could be a star in the Junior Division one day.

____________________________________________________________

Ryushi Sato (Little Big Hammer)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/RyushiSato_zps02cffbf1.jpg

Hometown: Aomori, Aomori, Tohoku

Age: 25/ Height: 5ft 8/Weight: 230 Ibs

Finishers: Zen Driller (Backdrop Driver Hold), Ultimo T-Bone (Avalanche Exploder Suplex)

Signature Moves: Sato Hammer (Leaping Chop to the Head), Rapid Fire Fore Arm Smashes, Headbutt, Knife Edged Chops, Running Fore Arm Smash, Lariat, Sliding Lariat, Diving Knee Drop, Exploder Suplex, German Suplex Hold, Release Overhead Belly to Belly Suplex, Brainbuster, Delayed Avalanche Brainbuster, Folding Power Bomb.

Personal Fact: Ryushi Sato is an avid collector of headbands, and his personal collection of them currently stands at at 1237.

The Stunners Opinion: Sato-san came to us at Hinote as a feisty but clumsy stocky little brawler, but he's put the work in to become a well rounded practitioner of traditional puroresu and I honestly think that he's now ready to make the step up to the main roster. I'm not sure if he'll ever be a superstar, his short stature is unfortunately always going to hold him back in terms of his perception with the fans, but he should at least have a solid career ahead of him with Burning Hammer as a dependable midcard talent.

_______________________________________________________________

Toju Munkata (Tofu Killer)

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/TojuMunkata_zps3a30cc39.jpg

Hometown: Tsuwano, Shimane, Chugoku

Age: 23/ Height: 5ft 9/Weight: 201 Ibs

Finishers: Munkata Flatliner (Leaping Reverse STO), Moonlight Overdrive (Overdrive Neckbreaker)

Signature Moves: Corner to Corner Basement Drop Kick, Diving Double Stomp, Flying Knee Strike, Moonsault, Diving Crossbody, Tope Suicida, Kip Up Hurracana, Springboard Enzuigiri, Reverse STO, Falling Double Knee Jawbreaker, Diving Bulldog, Brainbuster, German Suplex, Cross Armbreaker.

Personal Fact: Toju Munkata hates Tofu, not because he dislikes the taste of it, but because everyone in school and in the workplace insists on calling him Tofu instead of Toju.

The Stunners Opinion: Munkata-san is still only 23 so he has years of development ahead of him, but in my honest opinion his growth as a wrestler has already flat-lined. He's already a solid in-ring talent, a decent Junior Heavyweight with sound technical skills for someone of his experience, but I'm not sure if there is anything we can do here down in Hinote to help his skills develop further. But as the Junior Division right now in Burning Hammer is already pretty full, it's hard to say what kind of impact he can make if any at all, if and when he gets called up.

Roster Dossier #6

Hmm OK, so this is the dossier Optimus put together for the out of ring talent, everyone that's connected to BHOTWG that isn't a wrestler.....

Non Wrestling Personnel

The Road Agents:

Elemental II

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_ElementalII.jpg

A Brief Bio: The second incarnation of the Elemental legacy was a mainstay of BHOTWG's Junior Division from the late 80's up and until his retirement in 2007. An 8 time Burning Junior Champion, he had a famous rivalry with Optimus, that arguably ended up surpassing that of the original incarnation of Elemental with the latter. He now shares Road Agent duties in BHOTWG with his esteemed rival.

Personal Fact: The man who would come to be known as Elemental II, was also a promising Baseball player in his youth, a nippy second baseman who had decent all fields power and an exemplary fielder. Bio: The pair of Taira and Masuno have been two of Burning Hammers most prominent heel prescences for over a decade and the pair who are as known as much for their mullets as for their physically dominating wrestling style have been allies since 2006. Though their team has always been more of an occasional occupation with both strongly pursuing single success, the pair did capture the World Tag Team Championship in 2008 (though surprisingly it is their only reign with the belts). In 2013 they allied themselves with long time rival Hiroaki Nakasawa, when the latter turned on Kinnojo Horri and the New Japan Sekigun to form Hasami-Gun.

Finisher: Black Death (Spike Powerbomb)

Signature Combos: Stereo Chokeslams, Double Chokeslam, Corner Big Boot (Masuno) followed by a Corner Clothesline (Taira), Double team delayed Suplex, Double Shoulder Tackle, Double Clothesline, Double Hiptoss, Simulataneous Legdrop/Splash

Bio: In the late 90's, when Hamacho's former tag partner Tadiyuki Kikkawa graduated to having great success as a singles star, Hamacho found a new tag partner in Sanda and the rest as they say is history, with the Raging Bulls becoming the most successful team in Burning Hammer history , winning the World Tag Team Championship a record seven times.

Sensational Bombastics (Hiroaki Nakasawa & Sensational Dragon)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/HiroakiNakasawa_Hasami_zps1f9622cc.jpg?227http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/SensationalDragon_Hasami_zps40bb83ee.jpg

Bio: Following the break up of the Haruki Kudo lead Silver Dragon Fleet, Sensational Dragon allied himself with Hiroaki Nakasawa and the pairing bore instant success when they captured the Burning Openweight Tag Grand Prix together in 2009. Though the pair have yet to repeat their success in that tournament, like their rivals Horri & Elemental III the pair have continued to enter the tournament together and regularly team up in standard and multi man tag matches. When Hiroaki Nakasawa formed Hasami-Gun in the summer of 2013 with Black Magic, it was only natural that he would also recruit his long time Openweight Tag league partner Sensational Dragon into the group.

Size of the Fight (Hyosuke Kokan & Kansuke Konda)

Bio: Brought together in the early 2000's, Size of the Fight are considered the keystones of the Junior Tag Division, winning the Junior Tag titles on a record four occasions, though they are currently experiencing a drought with their last reign ending in September 2010. The pair also pride themselves on taking on larger opponents and they have scored several upset victories over heavyweight teams (many of them in the Openweight Tag Grand Prix).

Finisher: Big Fight Ender (Lariat Assisted (Konda), Elemental Suplex (Kokan)

Signature Combos: Double Cutter, Stereo Tope Con Hilo's, Stereo top rope splashes (usually a Frog Splash from Konda, Suicide Dive (Konda) through Kokan's legs followed by an Arabian Press (Kokan) to an outside opponent, Stereo Corner Rolling Senton Splashes, Senton Bomb from Kokan), Double Snap Suplex, Slingshot Catapult (Kokan)/Lariat (Konda) combo, Lariat (Konda)/Basement Drop Kick (Kokan) combo), Bearhug Hold (Konda)/Diving Legdrop (Kokan) combo, Bearhug Hold (Konda)/Flying Crossbody (Kokan) combo, Gory Bomb (Kokan)/Cutter (Konda) combo.

Snow Lizzard (Sanetomo Shiraishi & Sessue Kawate)

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e148/razorsedge69907/BHOTWG/SanetomoShiraishi.jpghttp://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e148/razorsedge69907/BHOTWG/SessueKawate.jpg

Bio: The veteran team of Snow Lizzard have been the Raging Bulls primary rivals in the Burning Hammer tag division for over a decade, winning the titles on 5 occasions (Though it had to be argued that The Rebellion took over as the Bulls main rivals between 2004 and 2009). In recent years Snow Lizzard were being phased down the card, but in 2013 they experienced a career renaissance reclaiming the World Tag Team Championship. They have since lost the belts back to perennial rivals the Raging Bulls but they did enjoy a solid half year reign.

Finisher: Frost-Bite ( Flapjack (Kawate)/DDT (Shiraishi) combo)

Signature Combos: Double Team Uranage Slam, Double Belly to Back Suplex), Knee Lift (Shiriaishi) assisted Wheelbarrow Facebuster (Kawate), Double Team Powerbomb, Powerbomb (Kawate) followed by a Falling Headbutt (Shiraishi), Powerbomb (Kawate)/Neckbreaker (Shiraishi) combo.

Solid State (Haru Kurofuji & Hachigoro Maeda)

Bio: When Hachigoro Maeda joined Burning Hammer in 2011, it was only natural that he would ally himself with his fellow former WLW man in Haru Kurofuji. The following year the pairing became a full time occupation, and ever since Solid State have established themselves as a solid addition to Burning Hammer's Junior tag division, going on to win the Junior Tag Team Championship in late 2012, where they went on to have a solid first reign with the belts, holding them until the summer of 2013.

Finisher: Tachikoma Impact (Kurofuji places the opponent in a Rocking Horse, before Maeda delivers a slingshot legdrop, forcing Kurofuji to deliver a Facebuster).

Signature Combos: Boston Crab (Kurofuji) followed by a Basement Drop Kick (Maeda), Stereo Diving Headbutts, Missile Dropkick (Maeda) assisted German Suplex (Kurofuji), Double team Superplex, Simultaneous Gamengiri and Enzuigiri to a kneeling or seated opponent, Double Drop Toe Hold followed by stereo basement drop kicks, Double Lifting DDT, Double STO.

The Manipulators (Tasuku Iesada & Masaaki Okazaki)

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/TasukuIesada_INSPIRE_zps5788b9ae.jpghttp://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/MasaakiOkazaki_INSPIRE_zps3edf0594.jpg?477

Bio: The Team INSPIRE pair have been occasional tag partners since the mid 2000's, though it was only after the pair returned as part of the returning/invading army lead by Tadiyuki Kikkawa in 2009, that they begun to seriously pursue the World Tag Team Championship (with the Manipulators moniker being born in 2010). In May 2011 the pairing captured the World Tag Team Championship and went on to have a dominant title reign that lasted until October the following year. Though both Okazaki and Iesada are also both keen to pursue singles success, whenever they have their eyes on the tag team championship they have to be considered a major threat.

Finisher: Damu-Kohai (Stereo High Kicks to a single opponent, followed by a Spinning Legsweep Okazaki and a Spinning Heel Kick Iesada), Total Blackout (Spike Cradle Piledriver)

Signature Combos: Seated Inverted Sleeper (Iesada) followed by a Basement Drop Kick (Okazaki), Stereo Shootkicks to the back and front of a single opponent, Stereo Facewashes, Backbreaker Hold (Okazaki) follwed by a Diving Knee Drop (Iesada), STO (Okazaki)/Reverse Russian Legsweep (Iesada Combination), Double Vertical Suplex Lift into a Neckbreaker, Double High Angle Belly to Back Suplex, Simultaneous Arm bar submissions to the same opponent, Reverse STO (Iesada)/Yakuza Kick (Okazaki) combo.

The Rebellion (Miyamae & Shimedzu)

http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/ff206/freebird8818/NatsuMiyamae.jpghttp://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/th_Shimedzu.jpg

Bio: Along with the Raging Bulls and Snow Lizzard, The Rebellion complete a trio of teams that have defined tag team wrestling in Burning Hammer over the past decade. Brought together in the mid 90's, the pair initially found success in the Junior tag ranks, winning those titles on three separate occasions, and they even found success outside of Burning Hammer, twice winning the WLW Tag Team Championship (during the period BHOTWG had a close working relationship with World Level)

In 2004 feeling that they had conquered the Junior tag ranks, The Rebellion stepped up to the Heavyweight tag division, and despite often giving up considerable amounts of size to much larger opponents, the pairs skill, flawless teamwork and determination saw them go on to have further success capturing the World Tag team titles three times and winning the second edition of the Openweight Tag Grand Prix in 2007.

However by 2012 Shimedzu felt he could no longer maintain the extra bulk to compete as a heavyweight and the team ceased to pursue the World Tag Team Championship. However the pair still team together on a fairly regular basis, often competing in multi-man tags together and of course entering the annual Openweight Tag Grand Prix.

Finisher: Atama-Supaiku (Aided Piledriver) , Inka-Ten (Stereo Superkicks to a seated or kneeling opponent), Funka-Tenshi (Double Team Moonsault Side Slam)

Signature Combos: Backbreaker Hold (Miyamae)/Guilotine Legdrop (Shimedzu) combo, Bearhug Hold (Miyamae)/Rope Rebound Yakuza Kick (Shimedzu) combo, Bearhug Hold (Miyamae)/Superkick (Shimedzu) into a Jacknife Pin, Simultaneous Shoot Kick to the back/Shinining Wizard to the face of a kneeling or seated opponent, Slingshot Catapult (Miyamae)/Missile Dropkick (Shimedzu) combo, Double team Snap Suplex, Double team superplex, Double team Belly to Back Superplex, Stereo Dropkicks or spinning heel kicks to opponents in opposite corners, Double Enzuigiri, Superkick (Shimedzu)/Reverse STO (Miyamae) combo, Superkick (Shimedzu)/Dragon Suplex (Miyamae) combo.

Yokai Kingdom (The Awesome Kiyaru & Golden Scorpion)

http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/TheAwesomeKiyaru.jpghttp://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/u566/Jaded2013/GoldenScorpion.jpg

Bio: The Awesome Kiyaru and Golden Scorpion have been a semi regular pairing since the mid 2000's, and it's one that has brought the pair great success together, with Yokai Kingdom establishing themselves as one of the best Junior tag teams over the past decade and winning the Junior Tag belts on three occasions.

Finisher: Walpurgisnacht (Turnbuckle Powerbomb by Golden Scorpion followed by a kip up rana into a pin from Kiyaru on the staggered opponent), Ode to Madoka (Scorpion plants the opponent with a rolling firemans carry slam, Kiyaru follows up with a 450 Splash, then Scorpion follows up with a Diving Legdrop

Signature Combos: Double Rope Hung DDT, Aided Drop Kick, Double Hiptoss followed by a double basement dropkick, Slingshot Legdrop (Scorpion), Standing Moonsault (Kiyaru) combo, Wheelbarrow Hold (Scorpion), Slingshot Facebuster (Kiyaru) combo, Superplex or snap suplex (Scorpion) followed by a springboard splash (Kiyaru), Stereo splashes/crossbody blocks, Leg Lariat (Kiyaru) assisted German Suplex Hold (Scorpion), Corkscrew Neckbreaker (Kiyaru) onto the knee of Scorpion), Suicide Dive (Scorpion) through the legs of Kiyaru followed by a moonsault press to the floor, Spinning Legsweep (Scorpion) followed by a standing moonsault (Kiyaru)

Roster Dossier #9

Stables

Hasami-Gun

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/Hasami-Gun_zps4a6f2d79.jpg

Formation: April 2013 and the leaders of the unofficial babyface alliance known as the Burning Sekigun- (the reigning heavyweight champion at the time)Kinnojo Horri and Hiroaki Nakasawa are in a tag match against the monster heel team of Black Magic (Yasuhiko Taira & Yasunobu Masuno). In a shocking turn of events Nakasawa turned on Horri and then proceeded to orchestrate a beat-down of Horri with Black Magic and thus a previously unthinkable alliance was born. Sensational Dragon who became Hiroaki Nakasawa's regular tag partner during the annual Burning Openweight Tag Grand Prix (following the dissolution of Haruki Kudo's Silver Dragon Fleet stable) was soon drafted in as the 4th member.

Others soon followed into Hasami-Gun's ranks most notably the gaijin junior tag team of American Panther, and Nakasawa went on to win the 2013 version of the Super Grade Cup before dethroning Horri for the Burning World Championship at Night of the Burning Hammer.

Hasami-Gun (who are not afraid to use nefarious means to give themselves an advantage) are now the most despised heel faction in BHOTWG- though like all 'cool' heel factions, they also have their supporters- with their merchandise currently amongst the biggest sellers at BHOTWGshop.jp.

Member List

Hiroaki Nakasawa (Leader)- April 2013

Yasuhiko Taira- April 2013

Yasunobu Masuno- April 2013

Sensational Dragon- April 2013

American Optimus- June 2013

Red Panther- June 2013

Taro Shionoya- June 2013

Ieyoshi Shimakage- September 2013

Team INSPIRE

http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q236/Tigerkinney/INSPIRE_zps94aba6ac.jpg

Formation: Team INSPIRE were formed out of the returnees/invaders from the short lived promotion that bore the same name- lead by the iconic Tadiyuki Kikkawa, in April 2009 and for two years they were the biggest 'heels' on the BHOTWG roster.

They have since been more 'accepted' again by the Burning Hammer fans and though they still carry a mean streak, aren't always positioned to be the heel. Since 2011 the stable has expanded to include those beyond the original invaders, inviting those into those ranks that they feel buy into the Team INSPIRE mentality.

Member List

Tadiyuki Kikkawa (Leader)- April 2009

Tasuku Iesada- April 2009

Masaaki Okazaki- April 2009

Mitsunari Fuganaga- February 2011

VENOM- September 2011

Yoshii Shiomi- September 2011

Hirokumi Saito- March 2012

Tatsuya Toshitala- May 2013

Former Members

Mike Watson: April 2009- October 2011 (Retired)

P.I.N.K

http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a527/Kitarzu/Tigerkinney/PINK_zps370acef5.jpg

P.I.N.K (Pleasure In Nihilism Kinship) were originally formed as a tag team between BHOTWG's resident weirdo's Marihito Masuko and Tadakuni Toshusai in 2010, and they have gradually recruited the 'directionless' into their little cult ever since.

Though not as despised as Hasami-Gun or Team INSPIRE (during 2009-2011), the cultish P.I.N.K often find themselves positioned in the heel role.

Member List

Marihito Masuko (co-Leader): January 2010

Tadakuni Toshusai (co-leader): January 2010

Nisso Yuasha: June 2012

The Incredible Koyama: April 2012

Toshiki Shibanumo- January 2013

Former Members

Shimedzu- October 2010- April 2011

_______________________________________________________________

Currently the rest of the BHOTWG roster band together as a loose babyface alliance often referred to as the Burning Sekigun, with former three time Heavyweight champion Kinnojo Horri and Junior Heavyweight icon Elemental III considered to be the co-leaders, whilst tag team icons the Raging Bulls and Size of the Fight are also considered to be key members of the babyface resistance against the various 'heel' factions.

Three more legendary tag teams The Rebellion, Snow Lizzard and Yokai Kingdom are often positioned more as the 'heels' when up against heroic icons such as Kinnojo Horri, Elemental III or SotF, but will readily fight alongside the likes of Horri when up against any of the official stables. Whilst the former WLW trio of Bairei Yasujiro and Solid State often band together.

O.O.C Note:

Just waiting on some renders from another poster, before posting the Roster Dossiers up- Should have really waited until I had them in my inbox, but got the urge to pull the trigger on this project-

I'm hoping that once the roster posts are up, that will spark some interest in this thing....

I intend to make a go of this project, provided that I can see that there is a readership to cater for.

Hi Tiger.

I'm very interested as I love Puro wrestling and in the game Burning Hammer is my favourite company, but I've been unable to keep a dinasty going (I bounce back databases ..77,97 and so on..). I hope your effort helps me to keep something going.

Hopefully my efforts can inspire you. Though I've always played TEW as a tool for my dynasty writing, rather than being an 'expert' at the game- so I wouldn't really use this diary as reliable guide to get the best out of BHOTWG in TEW- as my plan with this diary is to book how a realistic Puro company books (smaller tour shows with lots of multi man tags, big time singles matches saved for the major events) and quite frankly I find with TEW is that the game expects you to knock it out of the park for every show.

First Roster Dossier is now up on the first page

Stablemates over the unaffiliated. I wouldn't be surprised if Takemura loses submitting to a Boston Crab.

1. Team INSPIRE: VENOM, Yoshii Shiomi & Hirokumi Saito vs P.I.N.K: Nisso Yuasha, Toshiki Shibanumo & The Incredible Koyama

2. MYSTIC Dragon, Kansuke Konda & Hyosuke Kokan vs Barei Yasujiro, Hachigoro Maeda & Haru Kurofuji

The champion has already a schedule defense so I'm going with him.

3. OTGP: P.I.N.K (Marihito Masuko & Tadakuni Toshusai) vs The Rebellion (Shimedzu & Miyamae)

The former champions stays strong.

4. OTGP: Tadiyuki Kikkawa & Mitsunari Fuganaga vs Raging Bulls (Eiji Hamacho & Chuichi Sanda)

Not so easy to predict. The tag champion against a champion and Kikkawa. This is a major show and Kikkawa is Kikkawa.

5. The Awesome Kiyaru vs Red Panther

Going with the veteran.

6. Golden Scorpion vs American Optimus

One of the champions must win.

7. OTGP: Kinnojo Horri & Elemental III vs Black Magic (Yasuhiko Taira & Yasunobu Masuno)

First tier Sekigun against the strong but still second unit Hasami-Gun unit. N°1 contender should win, unless the Black Magic trick Horri, leading Elemental III to get pinned.

8. OTGP: Sensational Bombastics (Hiroaki Nakasawa & Sensational Dragon) vs The Manipulators (Tasuku Iesada & Masaaki Okazaki)

BHOTWG Champion wins it.
